I love this AU of hers and I've been wanting to do fanart of it for a while. SO I decided to do this, where Oswald brutally murders a giant Blotling with the Brush using Thinner because it took Mickey's heart, which sent the lucky rabbit into a murderous rage, unknowingly causing him to channel the power of Thinner as he prepares to deal the final blow, as seen with the first panel.

The second panel here is him realizing what he has done. Sure, he got back Mickey's heart, but he had to kill to do so, which had brought agony-fueled pain and regret to the already traumatized rabbit.

i have been developing and changing this oswald au for over a year and im finally (maybe) ready to post about it RAAHAHHH

This is the Animatronic Heart AU!

This AU explores the idea that Mad Doc tested animatronic parts on a toon on Oswald before he turned himself part animatronic. In general, Oswald is much more resentful and angry.

Below the break are some facts about the story/au

• Oswald had been much more of a shut in even before the thinner disaster, believing that he needed to keep working alongside mad doc to make improvements to wasteland. Mad Doc would leave the workshop while Oswald worked, so he relied on Doc to give him any news from outside. He rarely left their workshop and was unaware of the occurrence of the thinner disaster until it eventually hit the workshop

• he trusted mad doc with anything and everything, so when mad doc lied and said Wasteland was doing okay, oswald had no reason to doubt

• in Oswalds absence, ortensia took on the role of ruler of Wasteland. she was rightfully angry with oswald when he finally left the workshop to see the destruction that had occurred.

• she barely recognized Oswald, his outward appearance was the same but he was like a different person

• oswalds exposed animatronic parts used to be concealed by toon, but due to irreversible damage from the blot and thinner, some parts are now permanently showing.

• oswald can no longer fly. when mad doc was working on animatronic ears, he did not take into consideration the flying. the mechanical parts could not maneuver the same way. The gears in his ears were a later edition that were implemented to try and make an alternative way to fly, but ultimately never were finished. The gears currently serve no functional purpose.

• animatronic parts cannot be detached like toon parts.

• the animatronic parts also make him slower, but they do give him a stronger durability and can help conduct his electricity

• rumors spread around Wasteland about oswalds animatronic parts, and citizens began to theorize that he had done this to himself, and that he had built an animatronic heart in order to try and escape wasteland

• while he hated the rumors, he did like the idea of trying to make his own heart with what he knew from building animatronics, and began work on creating an animatronic heart

• because he was the first attempt, his animatronic parts are in terrible condition and he has to do constant maintenance on himself

• in this aus version of epic mickey 2, doc gets turned toon again in the end by the guardians, but Oswald remains with his animatronic parts, making him even more spiteful and angry towards the mad doctor.

• mad doc was able to manipulate Oswald in EM2 because of the relationship they once had, and doc painted it as if it was a mutual benefit partnership and that he would help him with his animatronic parts because he had been working on his own. all of this a ploy for trust and more experimentation

Fully updated animatronics portraying your faves heroes and villains from the renaissance era to our day. The place might be quite crowded, counting the few "Who framed roger rabbit" and "pixar" guest stars!

Some gold and silver era iconic characters may appear! (Mickey entertainment wish to let his lovely fans know that these particular beloved characters must not be approached or touched due to their facial recognition device might be quite glitched due to ageing. They'll be seen in their full timeless glory in safe glass enclosures!)

Lessen know characters of aforementioned eras plus the ones from the bronze age are "officially" out of order or decommissioned. You never see them. Except for technitians or security officers.

aaaah i got so many more headcanons! I'll write all of them down one day.

Super Mario x Epic Mickey au

I LOVE COMBINING MY INTERESTS!! I’ve been cooking up this au for like the past month with @jell-o101

FNAF SB AU ideas off the top of my head.

You’ve heard of coffee shop AU, now I present:

Fast food. Plenty of options- American, Mexican/“mexican”(cough-TACO BELL-cough), Chinese/“chinese”…

If you’ve never worked fast food (must be nice to be one of the favorites…) it generally sucks. Crazy rushes. Tight on space. Running into each other/swift dodging. You’ll get 20 separate orders of basic shit, cool! All of a sudden, your average order cost of $5-$20, with $50 bein a “big” order ain’t shit bc you just got some asshole in the drive thru askin for 50 $2 value chicken sandwiches & 50 $3 value burgers. “Tf you mean you want 100 sandwiches rn and you’re gonna pay $250 in mostly 5s and 1s??? Sicko. Drop all the mini chickens & I need a full grill of mini burgs for the foreseeable future. Idc that the grease bucket for the grill is overflowing, you know you don’t either. Don’t slip bc they’ll make me clean the mess since I can’t get any biohazard type illnesses.”

You’ve all heard of the beloved Roller Rink AU, we’ve all seen “y/n is pizzaplex janitor” now get ready for their loathed hatechild- retail AU. Naw, not no designer shit. We fightin for our lives in the “MalWart.” “Yeah no it’s crazy that they want us to complete 10 pallets in hardware in 4hr when each pallet takes about an hour… wait WTF you mean they’re all screws and washers???? That whole pallet????? Fuck me… and fuck them. And fuck that pallet actually, bc that’ll take at least 2hr all on its own. Yeah no I did mean that it would take YOU two hours. It would take ME the whole shift. Some of us ain’t blessed with the speed & dexterity of a supercomputer powered body you show off.” (A million possibilities! Deli, bakery, dayshift department options of your choice, overnight stocking, security, etc)

Tbh I’d suggest some others but I know I’ve seen them already- someone’s already got a general amusement park AU (the fic is somewhere in my 150+ tabs… I will find you…) although they do focus on being a ride operator… so there’s still food & beverage, security, janitor/“maintenance”/“Park Services”, actual maintenance as in like dealin w fixing basic issues like broken chairs/tables, as well as tech dealing with minor errors in rides, lights, audio, etc. character/character “buddy” (think Mickey Mouse & his Disney employee handler).

I’ve also seen like… goth IHop somewhere… I miss you…

Also seen psych ward, school, VR, someone… someone’s got haunt but w jackomoon in a corn maze… (I’m gonna find you again too… you won’t escape my love…) seen street racers, a… surprising amount of cops… hmm…

Aiight I know someone’s got the restaraunt AU, think it’s the same person w a hair salon AU, but!!! HEAR ME OUT!!! Basic restaraunt. Step up from fast food in terms of quality & money earned, BUT!!! We all still fightin to not knock out some of them damn customers. The best part of the shift is when the server gets to slink into the kitchen and stare longingly at the cook, who either eagerly or “grudgingly” makes them a meal. Bonus points for inhaling the food and fighting the chipmunk cheeks away as they rush back out to the floor.

Another idea I had was “translator” as in the human has moved, whether out of personal desire or demand from employers, to another country where they don’t speak the language, one way or another they come in possession of the DCA. DCA can act as a translator, assist in assimilating, take on the roll as your first “friend” in the new place and guidance around the city… idk. I think it would be a cool way to utilize the “computer” part of them.

Also… gaining sentience. Personally I tied it into the “translator” idea- they come to you as a fairly simple animatronic in the sense that they don’t really differ too much in personality between Sun & Moon, generally devoid of much of a personality, baddabing badaBOOM (idk tech, I had them struck by lighting like Dr. Frankenstein type nonsense) they’re suddenly two separate people w whole personalities & shit, but also tryin to figure out this whole “being sentient” thing (which I am not the first to have that specific idea, can’t remember who but I saw someone who did something similar but it was like… some storm related surge at the pizzaplex? And then they started zappin all the animatronics… I… think I know who wrote that, but bc I ain’t sure I’m not sayin shit bc I’d be so fuckin embarrassed if I got it wrong and I gotta go to sleep so I can’t look it up myself right now… so tired.)

Wish there were more people like you who were open to exploring dynamics between two characters in an alternate universe where they are not bound by familial relationship/title or whatever it's called. I get it tsams/tlaes have a lot of family things going on and a-specs things but eh what do I expect from a fandom that started the hate on sunxmoon shippers? I'll continue shipping sunxmoon, eclipsexsun, solarxmoon and solarxearth(thanks to that one anon from before for introducing me to this) not as family related, and the fandom can suck it

That's like saying Ink and Dream or something from the Undertale Au verse are brothers cause they're alternate realities of eachother and people ship them all the time???

Mickey and Minnie mouse have the same face and no one raises stink about the most classic example of same face syndrome.

They're robots and I think physical appearance matters very little to them in the grand scheme of things. But that might just be my demisexual ass talking.

On a side note, I know the VA for Earth, Aka: Kat has been very "ship and let ship" with the fandom. And I think that's why in the Solar therapy session, she clarified that she knows Solar isn't biologically related. Technically none of them are, she just wants to consider him part of the family.

I remember awhile back the fandom was so hostile to people who saw Lunar as an adult and would draw him in adult situations. (Like taxes/half joking you know what I mean)

And I believe that was the last big drama the actors like Davis was directly involved in before he took a step back from that and told the fandom to sort it out themselves. And I really don't blame him. There are people who are crazy and just feel entitled to things.

And in more recent episodes, Lunar has stated more frequently that he is an adult animatronic of sound mind who can make his own decisions, so that they can put that issue to bed with the discourse.

(I personally think that gen1/2 Lunar was very much a kid psychology and through the course of the course of the show, and due to his experiences and truama he grows up in two years and he's a young adult now. This reflects in every time he has a model change or appearance.)

See this is what I mean when I say they are robots. Robots can grow up from 13 to 24 (approximately) in the span of two years. Robots can change their mind about family dynamics and say "you know what I think that i don't feel like a cousin, as what I feel for Moon is more intense then familiar bonds. So I change my mind." And this is allowed. This is allowed. Like I would not think this way about human characters.

People in the transformers fandom are really familiar with this concept as well. At least the few people I talk to from an outsider perspective. The transformers robots change their relationships in canon to eachother all the time from what I hear.

And yes. I know tsams is focused on themes of family and found family and togetherness. Like I'm not media illiterate. I know what one of the themes are. For some reason, people think I don't know tsams is about family.

Like bruh.

This whole show took two years for them to build the family and support network they all have with eachother when before the show was a toxic family relationship with Sun and Moon only. And I think it's beautiful how it evolved and how many characters there are and how big the family is now!

It's great!

And I do separate in my brain what's going on in canon and what's going on in my shipping brain.

This doesn't mean I can have fun on the side. With silly speculations and silly headcanons.

Also. Consider this.

Since the multiverse is canon in tsams, in definition, by their own rules, there is a universe where everything in tsams is the same, except your ship is canon.

Evil!Sun even said that Sun and Moon being brothers is more rare across dimensions then we initially assumed.

So they're either enemies, strangers, they killed eachother, or something else.

They only are brothers after their canon event of separating and agreeing to work together. So there are some universes where that never happened.

Meaning most likely that our Moon's portal runs on a central finite curve.

So take that as you will.

Aaw thank you so much that really means a lot!! I too love my chunky characters, I'm glad others enjoy them as well ;; <33 And for sure, there will definitely be more Wyatt!! Especially now that he's in CPD where he actually has an entire story arc that revolves around him!! He also doesn't look any different from when he was a FNAF OC, he's still an animatronic mascot, he just got ported over to Cyberpunk Dragons where he's the main character for the world's largest multi-media company, Neon Wonderland (essentially the in-universe equivalent of Disney with Wyatt as their Mickey Mouse).

A little fun fact about Wyatt, he is the only fully sentient robot in the CPD universe, and it's a very closely guarded secret by his company!

only problem is, mickey doesn't know he's a robot living in a theme park. def would have truman show vibes, as mickey slowly comes to realize his true nature. i'm not too sure where the plot would go from there, i've been toying with the idea of an oswald "personality" living in mickey's brain (giving him lore dumps that poor mick really doesn't want to hear rip), mickey trying to get his friends to understand what's going on, as well as mickey being abducted buzzy-style by an urban explorer.

idk! i just wanted to get my thoughts out there, rather than fussing about it being "just right", yknow? anywayz, sorry about the wall of text :'D.

Here's another (VERY) early Christmas gift. This one's for @rockhousejai and her Animatronic Mickey AU, where the Mickey and Oswald from that AU meet the Mickey and Oswald from my Truth and Trauma Fic on AO3. Whilst Animatronic Mickey AU Oswald is rather weirded out, albeit concerned for Truth and Trauma Oswald, Truth and Trauma Mickey would feel rather worried for Animatronic Mickey AU... well, Mickey's, safety, especially if he were to hear his animatronic counterpart's story about how his heart was the only thing that remained from the real Mickey.

my animatronic heart au with animatronic oswald still is very prevalent in my mind I just haven't made anything new for it in a LONG time BUT I get so passionate about it every time I hear That's What Heroes Do/the EM2 finale song bc in my au oswald still has his animatronic parts and when Mad Doc becomes a toon again it sends Oswald spiraling because he is left with the animatronic parts that doc stuck him with and somehow isn't deemed as worthy of becoming toon again by the guardians and this makes him resent the doc even more than before TEEHEE I LOVE THINKING ABOUT THIS STORY ONE DAY ILL WRITE A FIC MAYBE

to take the role of the animatronics in epic mickey, pokey would've brought the robots left behind in the cave of the past. he'd get andonuts to 'reconstruct' them and give 'em "life."

...they, uh, had to work with what they had.

at first, ninten found no use for them. yeah, he was jealous of ness, but unlike oswald, he already had friends of his own.

he decided to make them clean up around what was left of 'america', now a wasteland.

...yet, he'd find himself chatting to them when he got lonely.
