Since last names are put first in Asian cultures, Like Sun Wukong, what would Azure Lions surname be? Azure? Or Lion? Or is is it just something in Chinese that I don’t know??

In this case, Sun Wukong is the outlier of demons since he has a traditional surname-firstname title.

Other characters in the book have very literal titles .

I've seen people accidentally assume the asian naming conventions apply to certain characters' Mandarin names, not realising that part of the name just a title.

example; people calling Princess Iron Fan "Gongzhu" because they assume her full Mandarin name "Tieshan Gongzhu" (铁扇公主/Tiěshàn Gōngzhǔ) follows the Asian naming scheme, except "Gōngzhǔ/公主" literally just means "Princess" - with "Tieshan" being more likely her personal name.

Among demons, it's more likely that they have a "public name/title" and a "family/personal name" much like people from Southern Asian communities (i.e Sikhs) who keep very similar surnames.

"Demon Bull King" may be DBK's legal title and what he prefers to be called by, but his "birthname" is likely something only his family knows (in one post I suggest his birthname was likely something akin to "Jǐn Cài Niu/"Violet Bull").

Azure Lion, being a Celestia animall, may only have the name Azure Lion.

In JTTW Azure's name is "Qingmao Shizu" or "Green-Blue-Maned Lion" (青毛狮子) and before his identity is revealed, he's referred to au the "Lion-Lynx Demon/Shī Lì Guài/獅猁怪". And being the steed/disciple of a Bodhisattva, he likely never needed a surname.

So in a scenario where Azure *needs* a surname though, I could see him just using "Lion/Shizu". He's azure-coloured, and he's a lion. Doesn't see much reason to change it. Unless he marries someone with a legal surname...

It seems like I'm in my Hazbin Hotel era because I can think of ideas for ocs and stories for this series despite my love-hate relationship that I have with this series, I will probably use these characters as ocs for the prequel to my original project (bloody reverie ) bloody eden(wich i explore in instagram in my stories)but I like the idea of ​​this couple as ocs from hazbin hotel with biblical inspiration (removing the incest obviously, this is not alabama or northern mexico/argentina), now without further ado I introduce them:

Abel is the first human soul to go to heaven, we all know the story of Abel and his brother Cain, let's say I was inspired by the Abel of @s_affiro(has instagram,twitter and youtube channel, i love her swap au) and @wabbyhazzy to create mine by mixing my own ideas.

Abel is a warrior of heaven who has the job of protecting heaven from threats (Lofcraftian monsters, demons like Lucifer and Lilith, etc.) and unlike what it would seem from his carefree attitude, he takes his job VERY SERIOUSLY and sees it as divine duty which unconsciously makes him act proud at times, he is not at the level of Lucifer or Adam but he has a lot of pride.

His personality, as I said, is that of someone carefree but not irresponsible. He also really enjoys the simple things in life and is a very enthusiastic animal lover. He is a first-class empath and knows how to read others very well. He is also loud and outgoing.

He is married to Luluwa, his bride in life, they knew each other since they were children and from a very young age they showed interest in getting married, however Abel's death caused Luluwa to die of grief shortly after, so they ended up getting married in heaven(thats why luluwa's style has bride characteristics).

Luluwa, unlike her husband, is someone who is quiet, sensitive and gentle. She is a very wise person but usually prefers to stay away from the spotlight as much as possible (that's why she hid her heterochromia), however she likes to help others and because of this She is a matchmaker, she likes helping people find love.

The dynamic of these two is sunshine(luluwa) and sunshine protector(abel), they are both very devoted to each other(they are gomez and morticia if they were angels or pepa and felix madrigal).

Parece que estoy en mi era hazbin hotel porque se me ocurren ideas para ocs e historias de esta serie pese a mi relación amor-odio que tengo con esta misma, estos personajes probablemente los use como ocs para la precuela de mi proyecto original (bloody reverie) bloody eden pero me gusta la idea de esta pareja como ocs de hazbin hotel con inspiración biblica(quitando el incesto obviamente, esto no es alabama ni méxico/argentina del norte), ahora sin más que agregar los introduzco:

Abel es un guerrero del cielo que tiene el trabajo de proteger al cielo de amenazas(monstruos lofcraftianos, demonios como lucifer y lilith, etc) y a diferencia de lo que parecería por su actitud despreocupada el se toma MUY EN SERIO su trabajo y lo ve como deber divino lo que de forma inconsciente lo hace actuar como alguien orgulloso a veces,no está al nivel de lucifer o adan pero tiene mucho orgullo.

Su personalidad como dije es de alguien despreocupado pero no por eso alguien irresponsable,el también disfruta mucho de cosas sencillas de la vida y es un amante de los animales muy entusiasta,el es un empatico de primera y sabe leer muy bien a los demás,también es ruidoso y extrovertido.

El esta casado con luluwa, su prometida en vida, se conocieron desde niños y desde muy jóvenes mostraron interes en casarse, sin embargo la muerte de abel hizo que luluwa muriera de pena poco después, por lo que se terminaron casando en el cielo.

Luluwa a diferencia de su esposo es alguien callada, sensible y gentil, ella es una persona muy culta pero suele preferir alejarse del reflector lo máximo posible(por eso ocultaba su heterocronomia),sin embargo ella le gusta ayudar a los demás y debido a esto es casamentera, le gusta ayudar a las personas a encontrar el amor.

La dinámica de estos dos es sunshine(luluwa) y sunshine protector(abel), ambos son muy devotos el uno con el otro(son gomez y morticia ángeles o pepa y felix madrigal).

It's been a while since I posted any drawings here, so since I caught up with the Blue Exorcist anime, I thought it would be appropriate to publish this drawing of an Oc that I left SUPER abandoned after joining the Fandom (on the left side is her design current, the dark side is its old design😅)

I present to you Lilith! the so-called "queen of the night" and Lucifer's lover.

Lilith was one of humanity's first exorcists and the first Demon Eater. She was born with rare physical characteristics (red hair, yellow eyes) that caused her to be considered a demon from birth, being rejected and separated from human society.

Despite this, Lilith stood out in the areas related to exorcism and developed her own branch in order to obtain more power, forcing the possession of a demon to use its powers. being humanity's first demon eater.

Lilith is a chaotic but methodical being, short-tempered but cunning, she loves to hurt humanity and is very supportive of the Illuminati's cause as long as they do not try to control or command her. She is much smarter than she appears and knows how to use her ✨charms✨ very well to stand out.

Lilith's powers are based on shadows and the control of creatures of the night, being able to alter certain matter through darkness and even form chimeras with her animal representatives. It's like Nara and Naruto on another level. apart from the fact that it has the same strength and durability of a special category demon.

Her relationship with Lucifer is...surprisingly cute? I'm not saying that it doesn't have its cons (possessiveness on both sides above all), but it is much better than what the average demon would have.

Lilith tries to support Lucifer as best she can now that he is weak and is definitely a great support in his cause. She even tries to be less chaotic around him to avoid stress. She is quite protective and will not put up with the failures of the Illuminati research group easily.

Lucifer, for his part, has learned to love Lilith's free nature and while he monitors her a lot, he definitely trusts her abilities and judgment when something is not right. Lilith is the only person who can joke and talk so personally with Lucifer and come out unscathed (they're like the "no energy x too much energy" dynamic).

Overall, Lilith is a free spirit who advocates the chaos of her companion's new world ✨

les presento a Lilith! la llamada "reina de la noche" y la amante de Lucifer.

Lilith fue una de las primeras exorcistas de la humanidad y la primera Demon Eater. ella nació con características físicas raras(pelo rojo, ojos amarillos) que causaron que fuera considerada un demonio desde nacimiento, siendo rechazada y apartada de la sociedad humana.

pese a esto Lilith resalto en las areas relacionadas al exorcismo y desarrollo su propia rama en pro de obtener mas poder, forzar la posesión de un demonio para usar sus poderes. siendo la primera demon eater de la humanidad.

Lilith es un ser caotico pero metodico, de mal genio pero astuta, ama hacerle daño a la humanidad y apoya mucho la causa de los Illuminati's mientras ellos no intenten controlarla o mandarla. es mucho mas lista de lo que aparenta y sabe usar muy bien sus ✨encantos ✨para sobresalir.

los poderes de Lilith se basan en las sombras y el control de las criaturas de la noche, pudiendo alterar cierta materia mediante la oscuridad e incluso formar quimeras con sus animales representantes. es como los Nara ee Naruto a otro nivel. aparte de que tiene la misma fuerza y durabilidad de un demonio de categoría especial.

su relación con Lucifer es... sorprendentemente linda? no digo que no tenga sus contras(posesividad de ambas partes sobretodo), pero es mucho mejor que lo que tendria el promedio de demonios.

Lilith trata de apoyar lo mejor que puede a Lucifer ahora que esta debil y definitivamente es un gran apoyo en su causa. incluso trata de ser menos caotica a su alrededor para evitarle estrés. es bastante protectora y no soportara los fracasos del grupo de investigación Illuminati con facilidad.

Lucifer por su parte ha aprendido a amar la naturaleza libre de Lilith y si bien la monitorea mucho, definitivamente confia en sus habilidades y en su juicio cuando algo no esta bien. Lilith es la unica persona que puede bromear y hablar de forma tan personal con Lucifer y salir ileso(son como la dinamica de "sin energía x demaciada energia").

en general, Lilith es un espíritu libre que aboga por el caos del nuevo mundo de su compañero ✨

We had our house tours canceled yesterday due to a pet emergency for our realtor so we're going today. I decided to make a few scales to rate the houses on (other than the regular space/price/needing to get things fixed [like plumbing or structure]).

They are:

-hauntability (would visitors l assume every bump they hear is a ghost/demon/some sort of spirit?)

-screamability (can I scream and not alert neighbors)

-wanderability (how much can I wander before trespassing)

-deerability (how likely is it I'll look put my window and see deer?)

-animalability (how many animals can I keep before things get excessive)

I'm feeling good about these metrics.

That's what they call themselves.

It's interesting to see a completely new population forming and growing from scratch, and meanwhile I also see how they are completely different from humans but still have something human inside them, no matter what they look like.

They can be anything. Demons, peaceful or not, like Bendy, angels like Alisson, animals like Boris and Tom, objects, elements, ou just look human like me.

They can do anything. Many of them have powers like me, or naturally don't fit into the laws of physics, they are rarely "normal".

I'm glad that now I can have some company that won't try to kill me in here, I still want to get out, but things aren't like they used to be. Bendy needs me, and you never know when his demon will return.

É interessante ver uma população completamente nova se formar e crescer do zero, e enquanto isso eu também vejo como eles são completamente diferentes dos humanos mas não deixam de ter algo humano dentro deles, não importa a aparência.

Eles podem ser qualquer coisa. Demônios, pacíficos ou não, como Bendy, anjos como Alisson, animais como Boris e Tom, objetos, elementos, ou simplesmente parecem humanos como eu.

Eles conseguem fazer qualquer coisa. Muitos têm poderes como eu, ou naturalmente não se enquadram nas leis da física, raramente eles são comuns.

Eu fico feliz por agora poder ter alguma companhia que não tente me matar aqui dentro, eu ainda quero sair, mas as coisas não são como antes. Bendy precisa de mim, e nunca se sabe quando o seu demônio vai voltar.

The OCs are a little self-indulgent so they're a sampling of what I like personally, plus whatever I was able to make with the options available on Picrew. 😂

I have some of the "old" versions of their designs on my PC still, so I'll include some of those here too.

When I first wrote Azra’s character, I was deep in my Sukuna (S01 JJK) brain rot and he was the original influence physically. That was when he was just a character I talked to one of my friends about and wrote out a rough version of his story.

I changed his appearance when I decided to post about him here (it was mostly his hair that needed changing). I wanted him to have wavy-ish hair because it would be fun to play with. I thought it would also make him look deceptively soft for a demon too (it was more fitting when he was still an angel). He has a lot of tattoos on his neck/arms/chest but he got those in the Devildom and they’re meant to help cover his scarring from previous injuries.

Zekhan is supposed to be a bit of a contrast to Azra since they spend so much time together and I didn't want them to look alike or be mistaken as brothers. He's generally a bit more serious/severe looking and not very approachable. He wears glasses because his vision isn't the greatest and, well, I like glasses. I figured that non-human characters in the Devildom/Celestial Realm would have more variety in their hair colours (going off what we've seen with Barbatos/Mephisto/Thirteen) so he has dark blue hair. His demon form is inspired by the Gargoyles' character designs a little bit and I thought dark blue would work for a bat demon whose specialty is blending into the darkness while still being a bit colourful and other-worldly.

I pictured Karasu as a more literal representation of a crow demon: dark hair, dark skin, dark eyes. For his story, the bright and colourful design/aesthetic of KARASU OS was something he was not involved with designing, which I thought would be amusing. (I could see the designers purposefully doing that since they know it'd be the last colour scheme he'd ever use.) Also, I wanted him to have something a bit demonic/menacing about his appearance that would contrast with the quiet but kind demon MC would meet, which I represent with his red irises and dark sclera.

The different versions of him let me play around with how I think he'd change his hair and fashion over time. He doesn't need glasses but I think he would wear them anyway while working.

They're all "average" in terms of demon height/body type. Based on my personal height headcanons, Azra would be the tallest at 6'1 or 6'2. Karasu is the shortest around 5'9. Zee is somewhere between the two.

Azra is a bit more muscular, but not as buff as someone like Beel. Zee is broad-shouldered and slightly muscular (especially his arms) but lean overall. Karasu is slender but not very muscular.

If they had to admit what makes them insecure about their appearance, Azra and Zee would both be most self-conscious about their scars. Azra's the confident and out-going type so he's very good at hiding that. Zee's demon form is the most animalic of the three so he might be nervous showing it to a human MC for the first time. Karasu's short height and slender build make him feel smaller and weaker compared to other demons, but he compensates by investing in tailored clothes and looking put-together in public.

Il pitbull questo demone venuto dall'inferno per ucciderci tutti!!

Il pitbull nacque nel XIX secolo dall'incrocio di Old English Terrier e Old Bulldog, il suo nome indica il suo scopo, combattere in un fosso (pit) contro i tori (bull) anche se fu usato anche per combattimenti contro gli orsi.

Nel corso dei secoli XIX e XX però, negli Stati Uniti, si iniziò a

usare il Pibull come cane baby-sitter, giacché la sua vera indole, la sua vera natura era tutt'altro.

Il fatto è che i Pitbull hanno un morso con chiusura a forbice (creato dall'uomo) che potrebbe essere terribilmente pericoloso, ma ciò non significa che sia un cane aggressivo o cattivo.

Si tratta di un cane protettore e devoto ai suoi cari, è un giocherellone nato e di indole mite e pacata.

Il vero pericolo sono le persone, capaci d'indurre nel cane un tipo di comportamento che potrebbe essere difficile da tenere sotto controllo. Per questo motivo è sempre bene ricordare che l'educazione e il far socializzare il cane con le persone e con i suoi simili è importantissimo.

Si tratta di un cane affettuoso, allegro e socievole. Il motivo per cui lo si lasciava solo con i bambini è perché è una razza molto attaccata alla famiglia e anche molto paziente con i più piccoli.

Per ogni pitbull che morde un umano ci sono 10 chihuahua che mordono umani, ma il chihuahua non fa notizia e non fa danni, il pitbull si, ma a parità di percentuale gli attacchi di pitbull non sono più frequenti di quelli di qualsiasi altro cane, addirittura i pitbull attaccano con molta meno frequenza, ma la bocca di un pitbull è stata "creata" dagli umani studiata per infliggere più danni possibili, di conseguenza fa più notizia perchéfa più danni.

Aggiungiamoci il fatto che è la razza preferita dagli idioti, tossici, ragazzetti imbecilli, o persone deficienti che vogliono sentirsi forti...

Li rovinano, non li gestiscono o addirittura li rendono aggressivi per sentirsi fighi... per poi dargli la colpa quando fanno danni... ed ecco gli ingredienti perfetti per demonizzare una razza cosi meravigliosa.

Il molosso cosi come il terrier differenziano dalle altre razze solo per la percentuale di danno che possono fare, ma non sono cattivi, sono solo cani rovinati dagli umani.

Vengono demonizzati insieme ai rottweiler, amstaff, ecc, oggi così come fu demonizzato il pastore tedesco negli anni 80, il dobermann negli anni 90 e via dicendo...

La loro unica colpa (o sfortuna) è stata essere di moda, quindi riprodotti "in serie" senza una selezione seria e accurata da allevatori e cagnari, per poi essere ceduti a chiunque li volesse...

L'umano fa danni rovinando razze meravigliose, ma la colpa però ricade poi su chi è stato rovinato dell'umano stesso...

Una storia che purtroppo si ripete nel tempo da sempre...
