“188男团 novels.” | Angie reviews novels that she read in Spanish because she was too lazy to translate her reactions to English, pt. 1.
Tumblr media
🫧 —Alpha Predator. | 5/5 ☆.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No carrd, unfortunately.
Alpha Predator is the latest 188男团 novel of the series, and by so far, my absolute favourite. The story follows Shen Dai, an B rate omega, who agrees to marry off on behalf of his half-brother to pay off his father's debts. Little did he know that his meant-to-be husband was Qu Moyu, the heir of the Xingzhou Group, his boss, and the man who saved him from an embarrassing situation years ago. Shen Dai knows that the best option for him is to see this marriage as a financial exchange, but he can't help falling in love with the handsome yet ruthless Qu Moyu.
This novel is an ABO classic, but who doesn't love classics? I do. I love Alpha Predator, and I read the whole book in four days. I must mention that Suida knows how to draft addictive novels. I devour this one, and I miss the feeling I got while reading it.
Before reading the novel, I saw someone ranking Qu Moyu as the scummiest gong of all the series, even worse than Shao Qun, and I was scared. What could have this man do to be worse than Shao Qun? When I finished the novel, I couldn't disagree more.
Although I am well aware that what Qu Moyu did was atrocious, to say the least, I understand why he did all of that. He was raised to always value rationality and benefits above everything, even his own feelings. And guess what? I'm weak. I never hated him. I adore how he addressed all what he did, he reflects about it (and I put this in italics because I feel like most of the love interests don't regret their mistakes and just try not to do that badly again), and he works hard to be a better husband, father, and man. In conclusion: I'm biased. Qu Moyu best 188男团 gong. 💜
Before going to the next novel, let me at these two bullet points:
The ABO. It was extremely interesting to see how alphas and omegas were divided into classes according to their pheromone level and how it played a key role in the protagonists' lives. The scenes where pheromones came into place were /screams.
The romance. QuShen is the best 188 couple, beat it.
🫧 —Winner Takes All. | 4/5 ☆.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
carrd.
Winner Takes All is the first 188男团 novel I read, and I would also recommend it to be your first one if you want to get into the 188男团 world. The pace is easy to follow, and Zhao Jinxin is one of the least scummy gongs of the series.
The book's MC is Li Shuo, who is dearly loved within the fandom and had played the second love interest in other novels (Sissy, for example), and we see how he falls in love with 🥁 his enemy's cousin, Zhao Jinxin. Really, one of the greatest sins Zhao Jinxin has committed is to be Shao Qun's cousin (and this isn't even his fault, you see).
Li Shuo and Zhao Jinxin have good chemistry. They have a lot of interests in common and their families are friends. One could say it's a match made in heaven and that nothing could go wrong... right?
Well, well, well, let me tell you that I was so heartbroken that I had to listen to Bad Bunny songs to not cry. But don't worry! It's a HE.
🫧 —Additional Inheritance. | 3/5 ☆.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No carrd, unfortunately.
Additional Inheritance («Maldita herencia», Damned Inheritance in Spanish) is Luo Yi's and Wen Xiaohui's story. Everything starts when Wen Xiaohui receives her adoptive jiejie's suicide notice —but not only that, her jiejie left him a considerable amount of inheritance along with her only child, a fifteen-year-old boy named Luo Yi, who has a high IQ and is considered matured for his age.
For this novel, I remembered I posted a tweet with a theory of what could ruined Luo Yi's and Wen Xiaohui's happiness. My moots called me ‘witch,’ and for one moment in my life, I hated being right.
To say I was shocked was the least. I texted, let's say, six of my friends and told them what was going because I couldn't believe my eyes. How could he...?!
And so, yes, I can't say that I hate Luo Yi, but I also can't say that I love him. I don't want to post a spoiler here, but, hey, I was reading a little in my graduation party and I didn't know what to do with my feelings.
As for the plot, I enjoyed how Wen Xiaohui escalated in the fashion world (I like to call it that way) and I felt proud of myself for understanding the finance part (my financial market course is so useful, hehehe).
Tumblr media
So, these were the 188男团 I've read so far and a little of what I think. I plan to read Yet You're In Love With an Idiot and Professional Body Double, so the next post of 188男团 will be of them. I hope you enjoy the reviews and give a try to any of these novels if they attracted your attention (READ ALPHA PREDATOR). Angie's off.

Genuinely hate reviews that hype up a moment in a film, game, tv show etc but are super vague about it.
"There's a moment later on that I shan't spoil but it's the best thing to ever happen in anything ever."
Great! You've already spoiled it by setting expectations way too high! Now I'll either be waiting for something amazing that never quite comes, or it will and then I know that that was the high point of the film.

Review of The Hate U Give
Hello darlings, I know that I have you very abandoned here. An apology, but today I want to present my review of The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. The book was published in 2017 and had a film with the same name that was released in 2018.
But what is the book about?
The book is narrated by Starr Carter, a 16 -year -old girl who witnesses the murder of her best friend, Khalil, at the hands of the police. This being a "normalized" and even justified event in her community, because she is African-American and her neighborhood predominates African -American people. She, confused in what to do, makes an introspective trip about the racism that she lives every day, what she can do to take care of herself and her family, but also what she must do to stop this.
I am summarizing the book a lot, but it is a fairly complicated issue that touches as racism impacts all the environments of an African-American woman.
What I enjoyed from the book were the themes and the character development Starr had. I am not in her place, we live completely different experiences, but I understand that it is an experience that has to be shared. Because we must not forget that she is a 16 -year -old girl. She is barely entering a new world of maturity and how far can she help her community.
I love the diversity of lives and the empathy that had to put their difficulties without stereotyping them. I loved that Starr was always given a time to enjoy being a girl and that not all the time was tragedy after tragedy. It was a grieving process with good days and bad days.
At first, I found it difficult to read the book. Not so much because of the scenes, but because I was worried about getting attached to the characters and then something would happen to them.
The language was something strange to read, because I am not used to the dialect, however, you get used to it quickly.
I think another thing it helps is to remember that I am already an adult, reading a teenager to express herself is like an ahhh, that's why. It definitely got better until the end, it was more digestible to read and even the jokes were more fluid. This may be because it is the author's first novel, but they are aspects that are improved, because it does not take away from the contribution of the novel.
Now, another reason why it was difficult for me to read it was the conflict that is being experienced today. All of this was difficult to read because you read how the characters justify the death of their best friend, then you hear it in the news and feed, and it makes you angry. If you want to know more about the topic, I recommend looking for journalists who are reporting on the topic like Bisan or Motaz. I am going to attach some accounts that I follow on the subject on another post.
But, back to the book in terms of narrative. I would give it a 4 out of 5, because I feel like there were lines that took me out of the story. Thematically, 5 out of 5, I love the perspective it takes and the messages about: fighting for what is fair, it is a group effort to promote justice and respect, grieving processes are complicated, and let children enjoy their childhoods. It is a book that I definitely recommend and keep looking for more narratives like this in all media. Books, movies, video essays, music, documentaries, plays, series, in all formats. But the most important thing is to know how to take action.

Honestly, while I love the new pack as a whole (notwithstanding the fact that the base game update associated with it caused me to lose all my saves and mods), I don't love Cupid's Corner. I actually prefer LilMissSam's SimDa app. It lets you pick from a much larger pool of potential partners, and you can choose whether you're looking for an actual date, or just a quick woohoo. But I do love some new things about the pack. I love the new woohoo locations. Ciudad Enamorada is beautiful. (And I used MCCC to make Carmen Ortega into Bella Goth's mother. Look at her, and tell me they aren't related. I wonder if she's this continuity's answer to Jocasta, or if Jocasta is the deceased wife mentioned in her bio and Simis is out of the picture?) The "seductive dance" interaction is so extra, I love it. I love the new woohoo locations, especially the blanket. I love the new TV channels. (Caleb turns down the Bachelorette-expy for...Kyle Kyleson?!) I absolutely adore the sweetheart boxes. And I recreated Angie Sangria, and she and Caleb have been leveling themselves up, and she's been using some adorable new interactions with him. And lots more autonomous woohooing. They were doing a lot of that before, but now....dayummn! (Even though I have a "mental health" mod that I installed mostly for Caleb, to go with his lore, and he cycles quite rapidly through some moodlets, and I'm like, "Yo, are you two sure this is a good time to be woohooing?" Also, these moodlets cause him to do what he doesn't like to do: namely, bite other Sims without asking, even getting a callout text from Lilith. He always feels bad about it, and it's an uncontrollable thing; I can't even cancel the interaction.) Like, slow down, you two!

Encanto (2021)
Tumblr media
Encanto is an instant favorite. You watch it once, you’re blown away, you look up its songs and listen to them on repeat. Filled with memorable characters, breathtaking visuals and complicated emotions, there’s something here for everyone.
At the heart of the isolated community of Encanto is Casita, a sentient house that grants magic gifts to the members of the Madrigal family on their 5th birthday. For two generations, the Madrigals have used their abilities to serve their neighbors, except for Mirabel (voiced by Stephanie Beatriz) who mysteriously received no gift. Now 15, Mirabel notices Casita acting strangely and begins investigating. All signs point towards her uncle Bruno (John Leguizamo) - who vanished ten years ago - being tied to an incoming disaster.
Writing my summary of the plot, made me realize how complicated this story is. When animated films were drawn by hand, you usually had one to three central characters and their journey was about their own physical, internal or emotional changes. Once the era of computer-generated imagery began, plots began to shift towards characters who change/explore the world around them. Encanto takes this to a new level. While Mirabel is the protagonist, every member of her extended family & her home is given enough screen time to be called an important character and the story is ultimately about so many topics it’s a wonder they’re all squeezed into the 102-minute running time - keep in mind that includes the credits.
How does “Encanto” do it? By utilizing all the tools at its disposal with peak efficiency. The film begins with a song that lays out the groundwork for everything we need to know about Encanto, Casita and the Madrigal family. The beat and lyrics are so catchy you don’t even realize it’s a deluge of exposition. From there, we’re on a fantastical journey with plenty of real-world equivalents. Maribel’s oldest sister is Isabela (Diane Guerrero) who can make flowers bloom everywhere and can seemingly do no wrong. She always looks perfect and is constantly showered with compliments. Maribel’s second older sister is Luisa (Jessica Darrow). Her superhuman strength allows her to move buildings and everyone knows they can count on her whenever there’s an emergency. Take away the fancy superpowers, look at the family dynamics and who is Maribel? The youngest sister who will never be as good as her other siblings, no matter how hard she tries. It only takes a song and a few lines of interaction for us to “see” all the years these people have had together. Encanto is ultimately a mystery. It’s about Mirabel trying to discover why her uncle disappeared all those years ago. Beneath that, it’s about our responsibilities towards each member of our family and how we want to separate ourselves from them while also remaining connected.
As Maribel investigates her uncle Bruno and his sinister ability to see the future, we learn more about the family. The knowledge we gather often comes in the form of catchy tunes - the best Disney has produced since Moana. They’re accompanied by stunning visuals, the kind that makes you pause and wonder “How did they do that?” You know they didn’t need to get actors and animals to learn any kind of choreography but it’s so well done and there is so much detail packed in every frame you forget you’re watching computer-generated graphics. This is the kind of movie you could watch over and over and always discover something new. Either in the backgrounds, the character designs, the lyrics, the dialogue or the emotions.
If I had to find a flaw in Encanto it’s that there are a lot of big emotions here that are resolved quickly. Familial and generational trauma, sibling rivalries, resentment because of the expectations (or lack of) placed on you and more. Love sweeps them all away so fast. That’s me looking for something. I can see many people thinking the resolutions make perfect sense and feel genuine because for the large part, they are. The way the film solves the mystery at its core and deals with all of the matters of the heart is exemplary.
Everyone who sees Encanto will find something about it to call their own. This is a beautiful, memorable, emotionally complex film with great characters and top-notch writing. You should see it if only so you can be part of the conversation because once you get going about this 2021 Disney release, you won’t want to stop talking about it. (November 5, 2022)

the hate u give, angie thomas
released 2017
read: 12 june 2023 – 14 june 2023
i must be the last person on the planet to have read this book (especially given the events of the years since its initial publication) and so i'm not sure what i can say that hasn't already been said. i enjoyed the book, but more than anything what makes it unique is its phenomenal message. what i also really liked were the unexpected moments of humour and levity sprinkled throughout. obviously, this book focuses on a challenging subject matter - but it's digestible, so if you still haven't read it i would very much recommend that you do.

One of the #gamers in the wf streamer discord gets soooo opinionated if you do or say anything that implies dd2 isn't a perfect game. It'd be funny if it weren't kind of sad?? Like I'm having to defend someone using an enemy hp increase mod because they prefer the fights not be oneshots and this person is trying to "educate" them on why level progression exists in the game.

Jason Todd being number 24 most popular in all tumblr is such a power move. The pure AURA he has is unmatched 🥹❤️
Tumblr media
Top 24 of 2024
Well, well, well, look what we have here. If it isn’t 52 weeks’ worth of data drawn from the exemplary original posts you’ve been producing day in, day out, combined with the likes, reblogs, and search data—all of it weighed, ranked, and presented here for your viewing pleasure. In news that will come as a shock to no one at all, 2024 was the year of Artists on Tumblr. But quite right, too, as just a cursory scroll through the fanart, illustrations, digital pieces, paintings, textiles, and more will attest. It’s a goldmine. But this ain’t just any goldmine, this is your goldmine, and we’ve got abundant gratitude for the wonderful work you’ve shared this last year.
Dungeon Meshi won hearts and minds with its cozy feel, its cookery, its cast of eclectic, likable characters, and a delightfully off-center vibe. Farcille made for the sapphic love story we didn’t know we needed—and the inspiration for endless, exquisite fanart. There was much appreciation for season one, and excitement abounds for season two. But there were endings as well as beginnings, sadly, as the much-loved Jujutsu Kaisen brought six years of sublime storytelling to a close with Chapter 271. Good faced Evil, a nephew faced an uncle, and some really liked it, and others really did not. Discourse ensued, as discourse is wont to do.
Television! And lots of it! 2024 was the year in which animation ruled supreme with an embarrassment of riches to plunder. Gravity Falls and The Book of Bill became your fall fixations and simply refused to stop trending for seemingly an age (a Good Thing). Bill Cipher and Stanford Pines both made the Top 24 in their own right as you shipped them to high hell, with Billford coming top of Ships for 2024. Speaking of Hell, Hazbin Hotel was the new kid on the block. And, after a five-year wait, the new kid charmed—it was filthier, funnier, raunchier, and more heartfelt than you could have hoped for.
When it comes to hope, the times continue to be challenging, and the news can threaten to overwhelm. 2024 was no different. But you all painted the dash every color of the rainbow, stood loud and proud, and supported your ever-growing community online and offline in the struggle for LGBTQIA+ rights. While folks continue to voice their distress and concern for the ongoing crisis in Palestine, they also fight the good fight with activism and fundraising efforts across the dash. These may be dark days, but you all work tirelessly for the greater good as only you know how.
Looking after oneself is vital in these trying times, and you’ve all done just that in your own inimitable fashion. Cats still rule Tumblr as bears still poop in woods, and everyone has taken essential time to peruse the dashboard’s plethora of cat GIFs, cat art, boopin’ cats, cats of yore, and so on. You’re keeping things similarly wholesome with some more Tumblr mainstays: cottagecore, and its sister aesthetic, naturecore, imagine a simpler, greener, and quieter time. A time where the breeze billows softly through the long grass and gently turns the blades of the windmill; a time where we, too, might poop in woods.
The only thing more important than looking after oneself is treating oneself, and what better way to do that than gaming? Baldur’s Gate 3 made a most impressive leap from #21 last year to #7 in 2024, as the need for sexy monsters and beautiful beasties becomes ever more imperative with each passing year. Pokémon may have dropped a little from five to 11, but these games and shows still hold a dear place in your hearts—as demonstrated by your bountiful and beautiful fanart.
Here are the 24 most-mentioned things on Tumblr in 2024.

Description Buy Negative Angie’s List Reviews Buy Negative Angie List Reviews Buy Negative Angie’s List Reviews – 100% Real | Secure | Fastest Delivery Buy Negative Angie’s List Reviews Are you looking for a reputable vendor to Buy Negative Angie’s List Reviews for your neighbourhood business? Well, for your wants, you’ve come to the proper place. We provide real, ongoing, and completely secure Angie’s List reviews with a money-back guarantee. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a good idea for you to waste time.
Angie’s List is a website that enables customers to offer ratings and reviews of local companies and service providers in various categories, including home renovation, medical care, and automotive services. The purpose of these evaluations is to assist customers in making well-informed choices when it comes to selecting service providers.
On the other hand, only some reviews on Angie’s List will be excellent; some could even be bad. A business’s reputation may take a substantial hit from unfavourable online evaluations, which may cause some prospective clients to think twice about adopting the company’s products or services. Many issues, such as inadequate customer service, sloppy craftsmanship, or excessive pricing, may result in unfavourable reviews being left on a business’s Angie’s List profile.
Companies need to be aware of the possible effect that negative evaluations might have on their operations and should take measures to remedy any problems that could develop.
Buy Negative Angie’s List Business Reviews to Grow Up Online Reputation One of the most dangerous things that can happen to a company’s online reputation is to have unfavourable evaluations posted on Angie’s List or any other online review site. These evaluations have the potential to influence a company’s placement in search engine results, its visibility, and, eventually, its revenue. On the other hand, it is feasible to handle negative reviews proactively and lessen the influence they have.
here are several effective steps for handling Non-positive feedback.
Step #1: One must realize that a company can only satisfy some of its customers at all times. Negative reviews are an unavoidable aspect of running a business, and they may even give constructive criticism that can assist a company in enhancing the quality of the products or services they provide.
Step #2: Responding to adverse reviews in a professional and empathic manner is one strategy for dealing with online criticism. This demonstrates that the company cares about its clients and is prepared to put things right when things go wrong. Additionally, it provides the company with the chance to explain its side of the story and give a remedy to the issue that has been raised.
Step #3: One such tactic is to aggressively encourage happy customers to submit good evaluations of the products they have purchased. This may assist in mitigating the effects of unfavorable reviews and contribute to an overall improvement in a company’s online reputation.
Step #4: It is also essential to conduct frequent monitoring of review sites and to respond promptly to any critical feedback as soon as it is received. This may reduce the amount of harm that a poor review can cause. In addition, it will provide the opportunity to address consumer complaints or problems.
Step #5: Negative reviews also something to think about including in the package, such as discounts or special offers, to encourage clients to provide favourable feedback. Because this strategy has been shown to be successful over time, many companies are already using it.
Step #6: It is essential to have a complete online presence consisting of a business website, social media accounts, and several other online profiles in addition to the traditional ones. This will help to create trust and credibility with consumers and may also assist in lessening the effect of unfavourable evaluations.
Summary Negative feedback is an unavoidable aspect of running a company and may be a source of helpful information that a company can use to enhance the quality of its services. Businesses can proactively manage and mitigate the impact of negative reviews on their online reputation if they respond to negative reviews in a professional and empathetic manner, actively encourage satisfied customers to leave positive reviews, monitor review sites regularly, and have a well-rounded online presence.
The Benefits of Negative Angie’s List Reviews for Business Development Negative reviews on Angie’s List, or any other online review platform, can be seen as a negative thing for a business. However, negative reviews can benefit a business’s development if handled correctly.
1 Advantage: Negative reviews can provide valuable feedback for a business. Negative thoughts can highlight areas where a company falls short, such as poor customer service or defective products. They can use this feedback to make improvements and adjustments to a business’s operations, leading to increased customer satisfaction and improved sales.
2 Advantage: Adverse reviews is that they can create a sense of authenticity and credibility for a business. Consumers are more likely to trust a company with positive and negative thoughts rather than only positive ones. This is because it is realistic for a business to have negative reviews, as enterprises can only please some customers.
3 Advantage: Negative feedback can also be an opportunity for a business to showcase its customer service skills. By responding to negative reviews in a professional and empathetic manner, a company can demonstrate that it cares about its customers and is willing to make things right. This can help improve customer loyalty and increase the likelihood that customers will return to the business.
4 Advantage: Non-positive Ratings can be a way to distinguish a business from its competitors. By addressing negative reviews and using them to improve, a company can differentiate itself by showing that it is proactive in handling customer complaints and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
5 Advantage: Negative evaluations can help a business to identify the areas of improvement and focus on them. For instance, if a company receives multiple negative thoughts about a specific produ
