#angels good omens

I have a feeling that plenty of angels fall in love with each other (likewise with demons) in heaven/hell, but romance for them wouldn't look like it does with humans. If they haven't been to earth, they don't have the words for it, but they feel an intense sense of companionship toward their partner. That's how it went for Gabriel and Beelzebub, and the only reason it sounded alarms was because they were on opposite sides

And now my pitch for a sitcom about a horde of celestial beings having no idea they're a couple

But, you know who fits him better?

Kokabiel, the Angel of Stars.

A FALLEN ANGEL.

I love the idea of all the angels/demons in Good Omens being nonbinary, more specifically agender.

BUT, I also love the idea of diversity in Heaven and Hell. That some of them DO identify as binary gender, genderfluid, pangender, demiboys and demigirls, all of the genders. And I just think that, no matter how horrible Heaven and Hell usually are, they accept that

thinking about how making aziraphale an archangel is technically a demotion in heaven

i mean, since aziraphale is a cherub, it means he's a member of the 1st triad of angels - the ones who tend directly to god, whereas archangels belong to the 3rd and the lowest triad, who tend exclusively to humans

im not sure how angel hierarchy works in good omens, but from angelology point of view azi transitioning from cherub to archangel is a huge downgrade

also, if we were to draw "biblically accurate" aziraphale, he'd look a something less than this:

and while we're at it, how does the concept of guardian angels work in the good omens universe? does every guardian angel just follow around their respective human? or is there one big surveillance room with millions of cameras and one angel is responsible for monitoring the humans? i hope they touch on this topic next season im curious
