Does anyone else dislike it when people dismiss Tim and Stephanie's relationship. Like on the one hand, I get part of it is a joke, and that people are just being lighthearted. But on the other idk. Part of it feels like they're just erasing Tim's bisexuality, and the fact that he is not solely attracted to men, but I also feel like it complete diminishes just how much Tim and Steph meant to eachother. Thats not even talking about how poorly DC handled their break up.

I'm reading batman: no man's land right now and I don't know why, but the fact Jack cares for his son so much kinda...shocked me? I'll admit I first got into DC through fandom and it's fanon interpretations, and I was honestly expecting him to be so much worse.

But he so obviously cares for Tim I'm kinda just...huh. Like this kid thought it was a good idea to go into basically a mini apocalypse whatever- that part I expected, he's ROBIN of course he'll want to help. But I was very surprised the fact Jack literally goes out and insists they do a whole search and rescue for his kid in what's basically the wild west. And I haven't finished yet, but it looks like he might succeed too??? Which. Yeah. Fanon Jack is. Different. Still like neglectful but Different

I'm reading the OG run of Azrael (1995) by Denny O'Neil and honestly Batman/Bruce just irks me in a way I really didn't expect. I'm reading issue #36 and my biggest gripe is...why doesn't he teach him?Like legitimately why doesn't he teach him, or atleast send him to someone who could. That just feels so obvious to me.

It's obvious JPV is a danger to himself and others, and it's obvious Bruce's initial plan of just....giving him the mantal without any help and extremely minimal training wouldn't work but even if he says he doesn't blame JPV um????? You sure aren't acting like it???? Seriously that guy needs an ACTUAL therapist (and no, Brian doesn't count when he so obviously needs his own mental help). He is traumatized, extremely repressed, and is being actively manipulated by Lilhy and I'm just.....MAN.

People say Jason is his greatest mistake but honestly I think it might be tied with JPV at this point, bc unlike Jason (I may be wrong, haven't read Under the Red Hood yet), Bruce has so. many. chances. It's so obvious Jean-Paul looks up to him, he wants to do something good and I get he wasn't Bruce's responsibility, but I do think after Bruce took him into vigilanteism he has an obligation to help. He took those lessons to heart and made them vital parts of himself, that he had to help people and he had to go out in order to do that.

Like JPV had a life. He was getting a degree in computer science for christ's sake. Why didn't Bruce just...let him go back to that? (Tbf i may be misinformed on that last part , I did not read the Knightfall saga I listened to the radio drama instead when I found out there was one.) But seriously. He's rich. Just...get him a psychologist and leave him alone.

your face is hot, placing your cold hands on your cheeks to ease the heat. “where ya goin’ luv?” he wraps a lanky arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. “anywhere that miguel isn’t there.” your response is slightly muffled with your hands squishing your blazing cheeks — he was going to be the death of you. “why’s tha?” his hands start to wander, gliding up and down your tight spider suit. “he was staring at us!” you unknowingly walk up a wall, hobie shaking his head at you with a glowing smirk.

“eh. he’s jus’ a ol’ bloke, he’s jealous tha’ he doesn’ have a bird like you.” he leans down to whisper in your ear, his breath shivering down your spine as you move your hands to cover your whole face, groaning. he chuckles stopping you in your mindless walking. “hobie..” “hm?” he takes your hands from your face, staring at your e/c eyes with a intent.. a very suspicious intent.

your eyes wander, trying to search for the right words. he pulls you to his chest, his hands alarming close to your ass. “you’re such a tease.” your hands rest on his chest, finally pulling enough courage to look back at him.

“you like it though.” his hand swiftly move to your ass, squeezing it. you hit his chest, your head in a blaze.
