An aortic aneurysm is a serious medical condition that occurs when the aorta, the largest blood vessel in the body, becomes weakened and bulges outward, potentially leading to a life-threatening rupture. While an aortic aneurysm can occur in different parts of the aorta, the most common location is in the abdomen, known as an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Hi guys, my mother had an emergency repair of a thoracic ascending aortic aneurysm last Thursday. She just came out of Surgical ICU and is recovering well. Myself and my fiancé Raymond are raising some funds to help with Mama's medical bills. We are incredibly grateful for those who are sending their love and support to our family at this time. To those who came and donated blood, my heartfelt thanks to you and may God bless you. If you are considering donating to help my mum's medical bill, many many thanks❤️❤️😘. Posted @withregram • @theneuronerds Congrats to our new President, @JoeBiden! Did you know that President Biden is a 2x aneurysm survivor?! 😱🧠 At 45 years old, while he was serving as Senator of Delaware in 1988, he endured both aneurysms 3 months apart from each other. That is the kind of strength brain injury survivors have! 💪🏼 President Biden is a true testament that you can achieve anything, even becoming President of the United States, post brain injury. 🙌🏼 #joebiden #joebiden2020💪🏼 #joebidenpresident #presidentbiden #presidentjoebiden #aneurysm #aneurysmsurvivor #aneurysmawareness #aneurysms #strokesurvivor #podcast #applepodcasts #formersenator #braininjury #braininjuryawarenss #braininjurysurvivor #braininjuryrecovery #braininjurysurvivors #podacst #applepodcasts (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CKUNl0iFRFK/?igshid=rhfu0usetnre

Aneurysm A cerebral aneurysm is a ball like swelling in a blood vessel in the brain that can lead to serious health issues. Large aneurysms can rupture causing bleeding onto the brain. An unruptured aneurysm doesn't necessarily come with obvious symptoms. However having said that a large aneurysm may actually press on tissues and nerves that can cause:👇🏻 Pain in the back of the eye Pupil dilation Vision impairment Feeling of numbness on one side of the face. Signs and symptoms of a ruptured aneurysm, include:👇🏻 A sudden, severe headache Stiffness in the neck Nausea and vomiting Sensitivity to light Double vision or even blurred vision Feeling confused Unconscious of your surroundings Seizures. An Aneurysm may also leak in some cases. This is known as a sentinel bleed, which means small amounts of blood leaking into the brain, which causes a seriously strong headache. If you experience any of these symptoms seek immediate medical attention. . . . . #aneurysm #aneurysmawareness #aneurysmsurvivor #aneurysmrecovery #aneurysmrupture #aneurysmresearch #aneurysma #cerebralaneurysm #cerebral #aneurysms #eyepain #unrupturedaneurysm #pupildilation #visionimpairment #severeheadache #suddenheadache #neckstiffness #nausea #vomiting #lightsensitivity #doublevision #blurredvision #feelingconfused #seizures #healthtips #sentinelbleed #holisticpractitioner (at Richmond, Surrey, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7QjbDrgJcr/?igshid=1ghre8mqjndkb

It's important to note that not all aneurysms cause symptoms, and some may be discovered incidentally during medical imaging for other reasons. If you suspect you may have an aneurysm or are experiencing any concerning symptoms, it's important to seek medical attention promptly for proper evaluation and diagnosis. Aneurysms can be serious and may require medical intervention, depending on their size, location, and whether they have ruptured or not. An aortic aneurysm is a condition where the wall of the aorta, the main blood vessel that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body, weakens and bulges outward. It can occur in the chest (thoracic aortic aneurysm) or abdomen (abdominal aortic aneurysm) and may be asymptomatic or cause symptoms like pain, palpitations, or rupture, which can be life-threatening. Diagnosis and management may involve imaging, monitoring, medication, or surgery, depending on the size, location, and health of the patient. Regular check-ups and lifestyle modifications may be recommended for prevention and early detection.
