MEAndromeda Pro: Interesting and creative main story.
MEAndromeda Con: The pacing suffers because so much of the game is over-padded with b-plots and side quests.
#mass effect#this was also a problem in ME3 depending on who you ask#and what's worse is that you can only get the best ending in ME3 if you do most if not all of those side quests#andromeda doesn't have that same problem but it is similar

Hello Metalo- after being tortured by Mal, I am in desperate need of some crack, so! In similar vein to canon Voldemort meeting all of his lovers, canon Sirius meets his:
- Bella from EMD, Bella 2.0 from Ouro
- Voldemort (from It runs and Mal)
- Astrid
- Andromeda and Lucius from Family
- James from Inevitable
- Greyback from The thrill of the chase
- Severus from Turmoil
What happens?
My guess on what he’d do depends on his age- the only certainty is that he’d bully Snape into a pulp. And that Mal V and It runs V would be duelling in the corner.
Sirius cannot accept there is a universe out there where he fucked Snape; he just refuses to believe it. It's impossible.
"I mean, it seems like you fucked Voldemort in another one, so-" James says.
Apparently Sirius fucked James, too, in yet another world. That, he doesn't doubt. He's happy; from all this insanity, since these people came here, since the skin crawling realisation he fucked Snape, the only joy he has is seeing James again. It's not his James, but it's a version of him, and Sirius hadn't left his side all night.
Now his eyes leave James, to look at Voldemort, sitting in a corner with Bella. "I can see it," Sirius says, with a wince, taking Voldemort in, his tall frame, his imposing stance, power crackling around him. "I'm sorry, but I can see that happening before Snape."
James snorts. "And look, you fucked two of your cousins. You dog!"
"It's not me!" Sirius protests. "I'd never-"
"Oh, shut up," James teases. "Even in my universe you had a thing with Bella. You never explained, but I know it happened."
Sirius takes another sip of his drink. "Andromeda at least said it's a marriage of convenience-"
"Yeah, so you could be with Malfoy-"
"Ugh." Sirius hides his face in his hands. "I truly am a dog."
"He does have pretty hair," James allows, with a smile, but he turns grim fast. "I'd rather that universe for you. You were happy, at least. I rather all other universes than the one you got-"
"No, don't say that! There's one where you were never born, where Voldemort won, and-"
"I'd take that for you," James insists. "You don't deserve this world. And they certainly don't deserve you, the fucking wankers, I can't even think of Remus abandoning you in Azkaban! He did that in my world, too, you know? You forgave him, but I never did."
Sirius breathes out, takes another sip of whiskey. "He's- I don't care anymore. I only care about Harry. Nothing else matters to me."
James hugs him, fiercely, and Sirius hugs back, basks in the opportunity to hold James, any version of James, one last time.
"You're like that in my world; you love us fiercely, and Harry adores you. You're his favourite dad, you know? Whenever he has a problem at school, he tells you about it; if he has a nightmare, he calls for you."
Sirius' heart swells, hearing it. Gods, what a lucky bastard that version of him is! He got to raise Harry, and he got James.
A young woman sits beside them at the table. "May I?" she asks, after she already sat down.
Both he and James nod. She's beautiful. Drop dead gorgeous. James kept looking at her through the night. Sirius checked her out a few times, too. Apparently, she's his wife, in the same universe he fucked Voldemort.
"I'm sorry to intrude," she says. "It's just that I cannot stand any of these people, besides Lucius. But this Lucius is...different. He left me alone to hide from the dark lord." Her nose twitches with distaste. Fuck, but she's adorable.
"Tell me about Sirius' kids!" James asks her. "I wanna hear all about them!"
Another Orion; apparently Sirius named all his sons, in all the universes, Orion. Something clenches in his chest, painfully. This particular one sounds like a handful, as the girl- Astrid- describes him.
I bet he isn't even close to how difficult the Orions born from Andromeda or Bella are. Those must be nightmares.
"No!" Sirius protests when he hears about Marvolo. "It's impossible I raised a snitch!"
Astrid smiles, a beautiful, mesmerising sight. James can't look away. Sirius elbows him in the ribs. "He's not a snitch! He is simply...fond of rules."
The third one, Helix, bites people. "That sounds like Sirius's son," James jokes.
"And, of course, there's Harry. He's a little angel, he never gives us any trouble, though you- my Sirius spoils him something awful."
James's hand tightens on Sirius' thigh, when he hears Astrid describe Harry as Sirius' son.
"Thank you," he whispers in Sirius' ear.
"Don't thank me," Sirius says. "Apparently I fucked your killer in that universe." He turns to Astrid. "Gods, you should leave me- I mean, the other me. He's clearly missing some marbles."
"You are a perfect husband, though," she frowns, clearly bothered. "I wasn't aware about the dark lord situation."
Sirius looks in Voldemort's direction again, meets those quite frankly mesmerising eyes, and quickly looks away.
I wonder who fucks who. He shakes his head to dispel the curiosity. Best not think about it too much.
"Maybe he has me under the Imperius," he mutters.
"Snivellus certainly gave you a love potion," James says, glaring daggers at Snape, sulking in a corner.
"Yeah!" Sirius is happy to take this explanation. "Definitely. That's what must have happened!"
"When I go back to my world, I'll tell my Sirius about it and we'll go bully Snape into an early grave," James promises, and Sirius is jealous, so jealous of that Sirius.
"Yeah, I'll bully mine, when he comes to Grimmauld," he mutters, but truth is, he is made to feel so useless, locked up, not allowed to help, that it's hard to bully anyone, isn't it?
"I cannot believe you allow all these blood traitors and mudbloods into your ancestral home," Astrid says. "These Order people."
James meets Sirius' eyes, and he knows they're thinking the same thing. Oh, that's what's wrong with her. She was too perfect, otherwise.
"How do I put out with this nonsense from you?" Sirius asks her, bluntly.
She shrugs. "You ignore it."
(-)
Andromeda and Lucius are the calmest of the lot, the most reasonable, really. Sirius can see himself having a marriage of convenience with Andromeda. She's always been practical, and the easier to get along from the sisters.
And Lucius....well, James is right. He has pretty hair. And apparently he renounced Voldemort in that universe.
Apparently, Cissa saved Harry's life. Good for her. Sirius hopes maybe...maybe Cissa from this universe will one day do the same.
He remembers she became a dragon whenever someone mistreated her porcelain dolls. He cannot imagine she's taking kindly to her son being inconvenienced by Voldemort.
Once again, his eyes stray to that corner. Once more, he meets that red gaze.
What the fuck happened there? Sirius is curious. Must be the Imperius, right?
Surely.
Speaking of questionable choices...
"You should have stayed with me," Greyback tells him, later, when Sirius makes his way to him. The wolf is playing with a knife, twisting the blade expertly. "It would have been a kinder fate than what you got."
Sirius opens his mouth to tell him he's not a traitor, that he would never fuck or stay with the man that ruined Remus' life, but...how can he say that, when apparently in another universe he fucked the man that killed James?
Greyback is a shit wizard, he can't be using Legilmancy, so it's just a weird coincidence that he says, " the dark lord, really? In my world, you'd cut your cock off before allowing him near you."
"I must have been coerced," Sirius mumbles. "And you probably caught me in a bad moment-"
Greyback laughs. "Oh, I caught you in many bad moments, little brat. And you enjoyed it every time."
Disgusting. Sirius moves away.
For some reason, even though Snape is the worst, he still finds himself walking towards him, even if he meant to head for Bella. Somehow, his mind apparently wants to avoid her more than Snape.
Snape won't look at him, arms crossed.
"You slipped me a potion, didn't you?" Sirius asks, hopeful.
Snape snorts. He raises his chin, defiant, but still won't look at Sirius.
He looks....better than actual Snape. He looks....washed, and dressed properly. With horror, Sirius realises that what Snape is wearing is what Sirius would enjoy seeing on a wizard-
"Oh, fuck," he mutters. The other me is dressing Snape!
Gods, how does that Sirius live with himself? Unbearable.
How does Snape live with himself? "Do you have a humiliation kink, or what the fuck is wrong with you?" Sirius hisses. I almost fed you to a werewolf, he wants to add, but Snape blushes, fiercely, and Sirius steps back, horrified.
Alright, best not to bully Snape, then. At least not this Snape.
Shit, what if my Snape shares this....misfortune?
No. He can't think about that.
(-)
For a few minutes, he sits with Bella in silence. He just can't think of what to say.
It's too painful. It's impossible that he'd-
And then she draws him into a hug, and- oh.
He hugs back.
"How is mum?" Sirius asks, in her hair. "And Regulus?"
"Good," she says. "Everyone is doing great. Our children are perfect. We have the perfect life, my lord made sure of it."
He doesn't want to fight with her. He fought with her enough. And it's useless, anyway. Sirius is apparently a fucking whore, in all these universes, trading lovers, shifting morals, but Bella- Bella is constant. In all the universes, she remains loyal to Voldemort. Her convictions never waver.
"Children? Plural? I heard you talking about an Orion-"
"We have five," Bella says, drawing back, with a smile.
"Five? What the fuck?!"
"The last two are twins. A surprise, later in life. I only kept them because one of them was the girl we both wanted."
Sirius blinks. "What's her name, then?"
She laughs. "We fought for nine months about it," she says. "I wanted-"
"Delphini," Sirius says, remembering, from his youth, as the girls talked about children, future marriages. Bella always said she'll have a daughter and name her Delphini.
Her eyes soften. She cups his cheek. "Yes," she whispers. "You wanted Walburga."
"Fuck out of here!"
"You were adamant. So her name is Delphini Walburga."
"That poor girl!" Sirius says, incensed on behalf of this child.
He spends a lot of time with Bella, more than he imagined he'd want. But he's mesmerised with her stories of home. Of a different home. A home Sirius apparently never left.
Would I have truly stayed in Grimmauld if there was no James in my life? Would life had been as easy? Or would Sirius feel something missing, even if he would never learned what?
(-)
There's no avoiding him any longer. He's the last one. Besides, he's the one that figured out how to get everyone back to their universes, and he needs Sirius' blood for a ritual to open a portal.
"Come." He leads Sirius to a different room, and Sirius has to follow him, though James looks after them, anxiously.
They enter a room, and there's a dead body on the floor-
"What the-" Sirius' mouth snaps shut when he sees who it is, there on the floor.
It's...Voldemort.
"Don't mind him," Voldemort says, kicking the body. "He had it coming."
Sirius stares between them. "There's two of you?!"
"Were," Voldemort corrects, his eyes staring into Sirius' soul.
"Wait, I fu- I had a thing with you in two worlds?" Now that is horrifying. Once is a mistake, but twice? There are two Sirius running around fucking two Voldemort?
Well, I suppose there's only one, now.
"No." Voldemort's eyes flash with furry when he looks down at the body. "You didn't have anything with this one. You didn't have a choice."
Oh.
Sirius blinks, relieved. Alright, so at least one version of him is sane. But the fact that this Voldemort apparently would kill himself for forcing Sirius-
That means, in Voldemort's world, he is not, in fact, holding Sirius under the Imperius.
The curiosity increases, tenfold. He likes me, it strikes Sirius. He likes me enough to kill for me.
How....awkward. "Congratulations," he blurts out. "On winning, I mean. You're not easy to take down."
Ah....there it is.
Voldemort smiles, and Sirius thinks he understands what the other Sirius sees in him.
The smiles transforms his face, makes it human. Handsome, even.
He has a dimple, for fuck sake.
No wonder Bella ends up fucking him in so many worlds, if he has that dimple.
"I admit, I had an ally," Voldemort says. "Bella, of course."
Of course? What? "No version of Bella would turn against any version of you!" Sirius insists.
No, it's not possible. Because if it's possible, then he'll spend the rest of his life wishing his Bella would do the same, and that only leads to heartbreak.
"This was an aberration," Voldemort says, gesturing at the body. "He shouldn't have been allowed to exist at all."
"You- I mean, you in this world- you're not that great, either."
"I gathered." Voldemort's jaw twitches.
"You looked like this," Sirius says. "In the first war. But now Harry says you look like a nightmare."
"I believe that's the least of his issues, here," Voldemort says, after some seconds.
"Can't argue with that." He bites his cheek. "Though, admittedly, I don't really know you. We haven't properly met."
"A tragedy," Voldemort says, and -
It throws Sirius off, how honest he sounds.
"I must be very impressive in your world," Sirius mutters.
To attract Voldemort's....attention like this, Sirius must be some amazing version of himself.
"You are."
Sirius has no idea what to say to that, what to do with the way Voldemort looks at him.
It's not with Greyback's predatory hunger, it's not with James' joyful eyes, not with Andromeda's care, or Lucius' desire.
No, it's....Sirius can't place it. Never has anyone looked at him quite like that.
Tender, almost, but not quite. Or, not only.
"Impressive like Bella? You're with her, here. At least that's the rumour."
Voldemort smiles again. "That is the rumour in my world, as well. And I can confidently say it is false."
A few seconds of silence pass between them. Voldemort keeps staring.
Sirius stares back.
"Your hand," Voldemort finally says. "I need your blood to complete the ritual."
"You can have the blood, you don't need the hand," Sirius snaps. The other version of him....gods know what is going on there, but Sirius can't make himself touch the man that murdered James, in any universe, no matter how curious he is.
That makes Voldemort smile wider. "Impertinent, as always," he comments, but it's' with fondness.
Sirius cuts his hand, collects the blood in a vial he conjures.
"You should remember this is who you are," Voldemort says, as he takes the vial. "Arrogant, proud, brave. You shouldn't allow the Order to treat you this way. Not after all you sacrificed for them."
It makes Sirius ill, physically ill, that Voldemort, out of all people, says this.
That everyone else in his world treats him like a reckless child, a burden that needs to be locked away, that they don't trust him to help, never recognise what he's been through, and here Voldemort is-
He shakes his head, pushes his anger down. "I don't care what they say. I am singularly focused on my goal, and they happen to be on the same side I am." Sirius only cares about Harry. And the Order does, as well. For that, Sirius is grateful. Harry needs all the people he can get in his corner.
"Why do you love that child so?" Voldemort asks. "I don't understand it. I need to understand it."
"He's all I have left of James," Sirius says. "He's all I have left."
Voldemort opens his mouth, but closes it again. He turns, and pours the vial on the runes he drew on the floor.
"Do you enjoy watching the stars, Sirius?"
It bothers him, the way Voldemort speaks his name, with such familiarity.
It bothers him Voldemort knows this about him.
Does that other Sirius also like to climb on the roof and stare at the stars?
"Yes."
Voldemort nods. "Next you do that, think there are many worlds, out there, where you have more than Harry Potter."

Let's keep twlkimg aboit the House of Black cause I'm obsessed with them too! Mgl it makes me kinda sad that there are almost mone left after the 2nd war, I think born Black there's only Narcissa and Andromeda left, and because they're women they don't get to keep the name. Idr now if this is canon or Ive reas too many fics, is Harry the new owner of Grimmauld Place now? I think Sirius left it to him am I right? Does that mean he's also the head od the house now? Is he head of both the Blacks and the Potters now?
Have a nice day!
Anonymous asked: About the post on Black family (which I truly loved😍) I've few questions: 1. when Sirius died did Harry inherit every penny that was in the black vault and every manor they had? Or just what Sirius' uncle has left to him? 2. Do you think Harry when he gets older sits in the wizengamot and has a title?
Hi, thank you both so much! 💓
I'm answering the asks together as they're kinda similar.
So, I mentioned in the Wizengamot post that I think the Potters also have a Wizengamot position since at least two Potters have been mentioned to sit on the council. So, Harry should have that position from the Potters anyway. Well, he gets the seat, he doesn't have to use it as it seems you can opt-out from what little is written about the Potter family on Pottermore:
Occasionally, a Potter made it all the way to London, and a member of the family has twice sat on the Wizengamot...
(From Pottermore)
It seems the Potters opted out more often than not. I guess the Blacks, who had a house in London for the parliament season (the social season for the aristocrats in London in the past was for the season the Parliament — in our case, the Wizengamot — was in session) probably involved themselves in the Wizengamot more.
As for what Sirius inherited from his family, well, I'll say all of it. He wasn't officially disowned, it seems, since after he dies, Harry gets Grimmauld Place and Kreature, both not left to Sirius by his uncle:
“Yes,” said Dumbledore. He did not ask Harry why he had not confided in the Dursleys. “Our problem,” he continued to Harry, as if there had been no interruption, “is that Sirius also left you number twelve, Grimmauld Place.”
(HBP, 49)
The house and Kreature weren't Alphard's to give, therefore Sirius was likely never disowned and as the last remaining Black by name (very sad), received all of it. I always headcanoned it as his mother burning him off the family tapestry as she did Alphard without officially disowning him since she didn't have the authority to do so. Also, I think Walburga never really stopped loving Sirius in her own way, even after he ran away. Like, I think she burned him and Alphard off the tapestry in a moment of anger and made it permanent magically, but she tried to return Sirius a few times. Like, I truly think she didn't really mean to disown him when she did that. I think Walburga's and Sirius' relationship was a very complicated one and as much as they both claim to hate each other, they don't.
As for whether Harry is the head of both Potters and Blacks and gets two Wizengamot seats... I'll guess no. Like, he got all the money and houses and while we don't know much about Wizengamot law if it indeed has seats for certain families, I think there would be some rule in place that won't allow a single member more than one seat. There isn't really evidence for it, just my personal headcanon. So, in my head, Harry gets the Potter seat and the Black family gets replaced with a new family, which probably happened to other families in the past. I mean, if Hufflepuff had a seat, I assume in the books the Smith family got that seat through marriage at some point in the past. Same with Slytherin and the Gaunts, where the seat passed through the female line. Then when the Gaunts fell from grace they were voted out and replaced by another family (at least in my headcanon). So, in the case of the Black family seat, the Malfoys (the books mention Lucius isn't on the Wizengamot) might get it through Narcissa or a completely new family would get voted in (like what I headcanon happened with the Gaunts). Like, I have a lot of headcanons about how the Wizengamot works, but not much evidence, unfortunately.

listened to juno steel and the man of the future this morning and wow i have thoughts. i feel like it affirmed everything i said about heroes in my last post, but it also made me think a lot about the free dome.
there are a lot of obvious parallels between ramses o'flaherty in this episode and erin d'arc in juno steel and the promised land. for one, they both present themselves as people of the future. however, d'arc sees what the past and present have done to her world and her people, and she wants better; she is moving towards the future. in contrast, i would argue that ramses is running from the past. he is a man characterised by desperation and guilt and shame, and he has spent his whole life trying to assuage those feelings. as juno says, he is "self-righteous": he has his own stubborn view of what hyperion city ought to be, and he will carve out that idea regardless of what others think. d'arc, on the other hand, does not carve out a new world from what already exists, but creates one where she thinks no harm can be done.
for this reason, i think you can argue that ramses is more similar to marshall d'arc. marshall's work in the free dome was done partly out of obligation; his mother began the work, so of course he would continue it. but he sees his mother's idealism as flawed, and rejects the idea that anyone and everyone can find a home in the free dome. his sense of value is based on greatness, and he will only accept the greatest. while marshall is very open about this, ramses shares the same values in a more conniving way: he uses the theia, in its multiple incarnations, to mould Goodness in his image. marshall will take in only the best of the best, and that is partly why the free dome could never succeed (although of course there are a lot more reasons, like literal radioactive madness, but i digress). ramses, however, will carve out greatness no matter the cost. he argues insistently that he has always wanted what was best for juno and his mother and for everyone in hyperion city, but his idea of "best" is selfish and flawed.
while the free dome's biggest issue was its very location, newtown doesn't have that problem. but newtown will fail (i haven't finished the season yet so i guess i'll see) because ramses doesn't care to understand the very people he claims to want to save. another parallel between the d'arcs and ramses is that they're ostensibly very intelligent. but this season highlights that idealism and selfishness and self-righteousness can make that intelligence crumble to nothing. erin d'arc leaves spaces in her code for the future generations, but she and her free dome succumb to their inevitable mortality. ramses o'flaherty plans out every possible conversation with juno to win a single debate, but he succumbs to his own inevitable mortality.
his stubborn need to be right pushes him to persist and persist and persist, despite knowing his heart condition has weakened him. his guilt pushes him to places juno steel wouldn't go with a gun, the same juno steel who fights his own guilt in this episode when he talks to mick and rita about his selfishness. ramses has the audacity to accuse juno of being an idealist, but i think this episode shows that juno is no longer fleeing from his past the way he was before. nor is he desperately grappling for some great distant future. if ramses and juno are on different sides of "Good", it is because juno is living in the present, not in some twisted fantasy where a statue of andromeda in an aesthetically pleasing park is an attempt at an apology to a dead woman.

Writeblr - ReIntroduction
Howdy howdy! I figured I'd type one of these out again because I'm trying to be more active on here, and also pushing myself to indulge in my passion for writing again... this helped last time, so I may as well give it another shot.
My name is Milo (he/xe) and I'm an aspiring author. I've always loved writing, and there's never been a point in my life where I didn't want to write in some capacity. It's easy for me to succumb to writer's block, but writing makes me happy and I want to be able to share what I create.
About Me
I'm a 22 year old (very gay) transman from Canada, and I want so badly to be able to travel to other parts of the world one day.
I'm a D&D nerd. When I struggle with a writing project, I often fall back on expanding my D&D worlds/characters. It's my safety net.
My career is in film. I work in the Art Department, mainly in props, and am working towards maybe becoming a Production Designer one day. I also dabble in Special Effects. Film work is a competing passion of mine, and you'll definitely find posts of me talking about work.
Like most other authors, I love weird shit, and you'll find a lot of weird stuff in my writing. Weird Fantasy is my favourite kind of genre.
In my writing you'll find themes of 2SLGTBQIA+, found family, fighting destiny, struggling under mega-corps/capitalism, nature vs nurture, self-discovery, different kinds of love, slightly unsettling surroundings, and weird lil monsters/freaky dudes.
My Current Projects
I have two writing projects going on right now. One I had to put on the backburner because I had written myself into a corner. The story wasn't progressing or flowing the way I had envisioned/planned, and I ended up getting more stressed than excited to write it. The other is one more laid-back for me to write. (Keep in mind, these short descriptions may be subject to change in the future)
The Strings of Willis Manor: Thistle Willis is sick. Her condition leaves her confined to the property of Willis Manor; a sprawling estate with lush gardens, dusty corridors, and horrifying secrets. At her attendance is Clementine (an automaton handmaid), Andromeda Marrow (Thistle's childhood best friend) and her ever-energetic little sister Tourmaline. When Father doesn't return from a business trip to the South, Thistle begins to fear the worst. Mama – the Mistress of the manor – hires an unknown Healer from an unknown land to find a cure for Thistle. But this cloaked Healer isn't who they say they are, and Thistle begins to uncover what really may be going on in the house she thought she could call home.
(Backburner) - Beneath Tattered Flesh: In the hissing, polluted, Magic, and bronze city of Ritec, Caesar Dampton is trying to move forward. He's trying to get over a bad break-up, make ends meet, and help his best friend - Emersyn Riley - find her place in the world. Between running away from his ex, and trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, Caesar is stuck in a downward spiral. Newt Gourdeau got the chance of a lifetime; a full scholarship to Verne Cobb University. Leaving their small town behind, they carved out a life for themself in the city of opportunities. They're trying to bury their problems in mystery novels, university studies, and attempting to find a scientific reason as to why some people in this world have Magic, while others don't. Their obsessions leave them in solitude for days. But when the unlikely pair see similar tragic events happen at the same time, but in different parts of the city, they stumble into each other's lives. Manipulation and death follow the two at every step, but they're both determined to get to the bottom of a gruesome mystery unfolding in the city... or die trying.
What I'm Looking For
As you could probably already tell, I'm not awesome at keeping myself "on schedule", which is code for "I sometimes let my life/anxiety/career/whatever eat away at my passion for writing and I'll abandon it for several months a time". Having a place to post updates, or even just little rambles, really helps me out.
So in all honesty, if you're interested in what you see, then feel free to stick around! I'd love to chat, do fun word tags, and just be in a community of like-minded people.
Thanks for reading!

So. I am not immune to peer pressure, sadly.
You'd think it means I'm going to be writing a continuation of the Camp Nephilim story, since it's my most upvoted post. Sadly, you'll be wrong. I do not actually have characters or a story there. Feel free to take on this idea and use it in your fanfics, if you want. You might need to remember that it's partially a crossover with an Israeli book, but the most you need to know is: there are Jewish demons, Shedim, going around (along with many other types of demons, really). The details are based on the Talmud, Midrashim and various other Jewish sources about demons, so you can read up on that if you want to take it into account.
So, not Camp Nephilim. Instead, I found that the numbers Percy Jackson seems to make persuaded me to go a little more forward with my Bianca lives fic idea. As is my wont with it, I'm trying to explore the most loyal to canon option, which is why Bianca is still a Hunter of Artemis. She is also, as obligated, lost.
Now, I already wrote a post on it, linked here. I also started rereading the original series as preparation and may have a few notes about the Titan's Curse. However, right now I want to talk about Clarisse La Rue and her own diving into the labyrinth!
Before I continue, @demigodsanswer has posted their own headcanon for what happened. I'm not using that because I discovered it's kind of contradicted by canon, but it's still a good take on it, so I recommend you read it. It reminded me of just how scared Clarisse should be in it as well.
First thing first: continuity. If you actually consider the timeline of PJO, you'll find that Clarisse actually found Chris Rodriguez wandering the desert at the same summer of her quest. Funnily enough, it's also the same summer Percy and Annabeth saw him on the Princess Andromeda. This slightly messes with the timeline, but considering how compressed the book is, it's not really that bad. As far as we know, Luke sent Chris on his merry way before he even caught Percy and Co. in Miami. Meaning, when he first sent scouts to the Labyrinth, Luke was hoping to ressurect Kronos with the Golden Fleece, which is actually an irrelevant detail but whatever.
Either way, the book says Chris was found in full Greek armor, wandering by Clarisse's mother's house, mumbling something about a string. There are multiple options to what that might mean. The first is that, even though she's a year-round camper, Clarisse chose to go back to her mother's house for some time. Likely only on a visit, otherwise her brother would've said she went home after her quest. Obviously Rick was using it for forshadowig purposes, but still. Another option for who found Chris would be Clarisse's mother - who might be one of the mortals able to see through the Mist. I think the first option makes more sense, though.
So, Clarisse just went back home after her first quest. Note, I'm assuming it's her first because there were no quests between Luke's and Percy's and I believe Clarisse isn't old enough to have been on one prior to Luke. She definitely saw the quest as a way to prove herself to her father, but we don't really know about her mother (unless you go by another post from Demigodsanswer. She apparently has a thing for Clarisse, I don't know if she has similar entries for other side characters). Maybe she feels like she needs to prove something to her as well and thought that now she did. Maybe she wanted to relax after a stressful quest. Maybe a near-death experience caused her to want to reconnect, we seriously have no idea why she's a year rounder and it could be she doesn't like her mother.
So, Clarisse is in Phoenix when a guy she new from camp suddenly appears, talking about a string. She already knows Chris is with Luke, I assume - Percy probably informed Camp on that. So now she has a madman on her hands... And here continuity problems start to pile up.
Annabeth said that Clarisse found Chris "last summer", in BotL. This is essential, because a. Chris hadn't met Dionysus at all until the end of BotL, even though Mr. D was only sent on his super important mission after the winter solstice, and b. Annabeth said she helped Clarisse in her mission. Clarisse was on her mission during tTC, when Annabeth was abducted by Dr. Thorn. The latter isn't that much of a problem, though - it's very likely that Annabeth helped Clarisse research before delving into the labyrinth. Actaully, her absence throughout the book helps explaining how come she never told Percy about it at all until BotL - she seriously didn't have time even if she wanted to. The former, however, indicates that Clarisse couldn't have left Chris at camp until after her mission was over. In hindsight, this might be why Demigodsanswer chose to portray finding Chris as happening after the Winter Solstice, while Clarisse's exploration of the Labyrinth and the reasearch occured earlier. It does create a wench in the cause-and-effect cycle, but it solves the problem of how come Dionysus only met crazy Chris at the end of BotL.
All that doesn't really lead us anywhere, so... let's see, what canon explanation could be found for not bringing Chris to camp for three months, while not contradicting canon in every way? Honestly... I don't know. Maybe... maybe Clarisse thought they might execute Chris as a traitor? Maybe Chris was somehow in an untransportable state for over three months? Maybe Clarisse thought she might need his help in the Labyrinth, for some reason? Otherwise... I mean, Chiron seemed to believe - rightly - that Dionysus could heal Chris. Why wouldn't Clarisse think that feasible, and thus want to bring Chris over to Dionysus? It's not like he regularly threatens to turn campers into dolphins. He only done so in extreme situations.
For whatever reason, though, Clarisse doesn't bring him back to camp. Maybe she goes back herself, or contacts Annabeth via Iris-Net. I think it's safe to assume she took some time to research before entering. We only know of two enterances she knew of, though it's not impossible to assume that she went through some others. She was alone, however - right after her quest, which she also went on alone - and she got lost there.
I don't know how long she was there, or what she encountered - but whatever it is, she probably told Annabeth about it, and it scarred her. And of course, that is what actually is relevant to our story.
If you've read my original stream-of-thought post about the Bianca is alive fic, you might remember I suggested having Bianca team up with Luke's people. The main reason I had for that is that I wanted Bianca to have some parallels to Atalanta, and two of her central myths are about groups of people she went on quests with: the Calydonian Boar hunt and the Argonauts. So, I wanted to try and team Bianca up with someone. Luke's army seemed a more likely place to have misogyny trouble, but that would be really stupid. After all, every soul joining them brings them a step closer to bringing Kronos back. Clarisse, on the other hand, is exactly the sort of person to be angry over having the glory stolen from her. I did realize that I can't actually have Bianca join a large group, because Luke explicitly says that larger groups tend to have more trouble, which is why he sent lone scouts.
So, I formed in my head a general idea of Bianca and Clarisse meeting and how it would go. Part of the idea includes Bianca killing the Calydonian boar - only for some reason, at this point, Clarisse thinks the boar was sent by Ares to help her, as his sacred animal. I was somewhat hesitant about it after realizing how desparate she's going to be - but honestly, at this point her desparation would probably lead to her going off the hinges attempting to kill Bianca. Hmm. So yeah, I might be going with that. It'll also fit the theme of Cadmus, to a certain degree. Clarisse would fail killing Bianca, of course, though I'm not sure exactly how. We'll see.
I do think I really need to plan the Minos parts first, though. He's a secret power behind things at this point, and considering Binca's life effect on Nico's plotline at the time... This needs some pondering.
Anyway, thank you for reading! Have a good day!

I hate Harry Potter and the Cursed Child because it doesn't make sense with the canon established in the books and what we know about the characters, but I'm fascinated by the idea of the character Delphini.
I also love flipping AU's that probably never became a story.
But here goes: In this AU Narcissa finds out where Delphini was left and takes her back taking her to Harry, after all everyone knows that he speaks Parseltongue, so he could protect her. They also share the same blood after all it was Harry's blood that regenerated Voldemort. So he has a choice, abandon a baby that could grow up like him and Voldemort or raise her, like a typical hero he chooses the second option. He tells the wizarding world that she is his daughter with one a Muggle and only Ginny, Ron, Hermione and the Malfoys know the truth. It's all very difficult at first, after all, Delphini has been babbling in Parseltongue since she was a baby, he's a teenager who has just come out of a war and the wizarding press continues to speculate about who her mother would be.
As she grows up I imagine Andromeda would see the resemblance she has to Bellatrix, but she never asks, although she comes to love her too.
Delphini and Teddy grow up inseparable like twins.
Ginny has some problems with this at first, after all she is the daughter of the man who possessed her and is one of those responsible for her brother's death, they would overcome this to love Delphini, as a person of his own.
It would be a counterpoint to the issue of love. Voldemort was incapable of love, but Harry loves infinitely.
Delphini grows up and is sorted into Slytherin, so it's not so strange when Albus moves into the same house a few years later. She becomes as brilliant a witch as her aunt Hermione. And when she turns 17, her parents sit down with her and tell her the truth, but she doesn't feel sad or hurt, after all she understands, because she grew up surrounded by love.
* In this AU she would be Delphini Adhara (Delphini is also the name of a flower, so Harry keeps it - Adhara is the second brightest star in Canis Major, the same constellation that Sirius belongs to.
She used the surname Black before being adopted when she became Black-Potter. I chose Black because I can't imagine Voldemort giving her the muggle surname he hated and she's not a Lestrange.
** She has gray eyes of the Black family and everyone always says how similar she is to her great-grandmother Dorea, but all Narcissa and Andromeda see is a straight-haired Bellatrix.
*** Interestingly, I always thought that Teddy would be more similar to the Black's family than to Remus himself, sometimes when Harry sees him he can almost see Sirius.
**** Alioth also called Epsilon Ursae Majoris, is a star in the northern constellation of Ursa Major. My canon is that it would be the name Teddy would have had if his grandfather hadn't died before we was born.

Weird AU idea
Currently I have been watching a lot of Rick & Morty, and with my obsession with Pokemon SV and the AUs that I have seen here…. I came up with this.
Cass10p31a.01
A Penny from an universe where Team Star became so powerful to the point of becoming a citadel all over Paldea. There are no traces of Arven, Florian, Juliana, Nemona, the Elite 4 (She get rid of them), not even the other Team Star bosses. As you see in the image, the “Andromeda City” works with terastal energy, which is extracted from the Great Crater of Paldea and Terapagos. Unfortunately, the terastal energy of both will run out at some point, so Penny had no choice than travel to other universes to get new terastal energy, that being Terapagos, the usual in Galar ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
Personality and Behavior
This Penny is more “sociable”, at least can talk to people without any problem. She has a calm and direct attitude when talking to others, she usually only talks to others to ask for favors, although when you bother her she becomes colder and more serious, and if she doesn't get what she wants from you, she will just leave (She won't give up so easily, she doesn’t stop until she get what she wants). She is more expressive when online or under her alias of Cassiopeia, or in this case, Cass10p31a.01.
If you are not a threat, she will not do anything to you, it is not convenient for her, she would only look for you if you are useful for her objectives, but if you are a threat, she will avoid you or try to get rid of you from the shadows. That if she is not in her universe, otherwise, if you are a threat she will just use the Terablaster.
Gadgets
Cass10p31a.01 has an artifact that looks like a watch, which is what helps her travel to other universes, it also can teleport (but only within a 2 meter range), create a force field and change her appearance to someone else (Usually other Pennys). The watch works the same as a Tera Orb, it needs to be recharged after use, each of its functions has a different number of uses before needing to recharge (1 universe travel and change appearance, 3 teleport and 5 minutes of force field).
She has a chip on her neck that helps her imitate other people's voices. She also has another chip in her glasses that connects to her watch to be able to locate the place where she wants to teleport, it also helps locate people with trackers (Yes, she also has trackers) and obtain data of technology, objects, pokemon and people. Needless to say, she retains her programming and hacking abilities, even better than the original Penny, she has more years of experience.
This is not a gadget, but it is something that she uses a lot in the city, the Terablaster. The Terablaster is a massive weapon that Cass10p31a.01 uses on criminals and people she considers threats. This weapon fires a powerful beam similar to the move that inspires the name of the weapon, this beam turns everything it touches into Tera Shards, needless to say, you don't survive that.....
Fun Facts
-She still has her Eevee backpack, it's a little old and torn, seeing it makes her nostalgic.
-She has the 8 eeveelutions but, except Sylveon, she never uses them to battle, they are just her pets.
-The affection she has for her Sylveon is comparable to that of a trainer with his starter, that's why it’s the only Veevee she uses in battles.
-She took Geeta's place, so in addition to being the ruler of Paldea, she is the president of the new Pokemon League, the Andromeda League.
-Eri is the only Team Star boss who shows a trace in this universe, being a member of the Andromeda League. She is the only person who has a friendship with Cass10p31a.01.
-She is online under the pseudonym VeeVeeFan.01 to go unnoticed.
-She is envious of some Pennys because they have a normal and happy life with friends, while she is alone in the Andromeda City. And those that don't? She gives them a little help from the shadows ;)
-She would like to start from scratch, completely move away from Andromeda City and Team Star, start a new life in another region or universe, but she knows it's too late for that… or not?
(And we finished, I'm surprised how long this took me to do, I guess it was because of school and personal stuff :/ Anyway, if this is successful, maybe I'll make a story or those Q&A accounts I see on Tumblr with her, idk it also depends if I'm inspired to do that (Spoiler: I am :3)).
Anyway, I hope you liked this and…
✨Hasta la vistar!✨

miss ma’am gtc!!! may we pick your brain about:
- your five favorite harry potter characters
- your five least favorite harry potter characters
- five scenes from the harry potter books that altered your brain chemistry
- five scenes from the harry potter movies that altered your brain chemistry
thank you, i love u so much!!!
oh SO fun thank you for the question!!
(1) top five blorbos (in no particular order): 1. Hermione Granger (I lied about the order. She's first). She's SO. She exists at the perfect spot on the smart/stupid friendly/mean optimistic/pessimistic continuum, she's so rich. She changed me as a person when i was 11 years old and I would not be here without her, probably. The others, actually in no particular order, are: Draco Malfoy (sad little rich boy doomed by narrative but also the Narrative is social conditioning and he had free will the whole time, fucking gut-punch, mwah, the best of both kinds of tragedy) and Sirius Black (tasty, complex, brilliant rendering of a grown-up antihero who worked through his problems but still has Issues, arguably JKR's best character work in any book comes in Sirius in OOTP where he keeps comparing Harry to James, it's fucking heartbreaking). Also Remus and Ginny. (What if you forced yourself to get over your celebrity crush despite him Living With You basically 24/7 and then you became a popular confident athlete loved by all for being ferocious in defense of the vulnerable, then your celebrity crush fell head over heels for you anyway. what then?)
(2) least favorite blorbos. I think about these in the "opposite of love is indifference" type of way, because I love a character that I can hate. Like, Umbridge is awful, but I could, in theory, explain any given action that she takes by referencing her motivations and context. But I struggle with characters I don't understand, or worse, that I don't believe. Namely, Peter Pettigrew, whose betrayal kicks off the whole story to happen and is never explained. So you get all these Marauders fics where this cool, era-defining foursome is actually just The Marauder Trio Plus This Guy I Guess, but his betrayal would not have hurt these people like it did if he wasn't a dearly beloved friend. I don't like Peter because I don't believe in him, as a character. His past and his present don't match.
Same for Bellatrix, unfortunately, because although she's a cool concept, I have no idea what's under the hood in her cranium. How did the same family produce her and Andromeda? Who knows. Really sucks because she's the kind of girl who would my favorite in a different kind of story — love an evil bitch, my God — but she doesn't have the texture to get me there. Also, hot take, but Molly kind of bugs me: starting with Book 5, she gets pretty hard on Sirius (fairly! she is a parent trying to watch out for Harry, and Sirius is very much not!) but she's super unkind about it, and doesn't really try to sympathize with him at all. Plus she nags Remus about getting with Tonks, which I think is kind of out of bounds and also unrealistic for a woman who is the mother of a person Tonks's age to want, so it's just like, JKR wanted a Moral Authority to tell Remus to fuck a twenty-three year old, cool, sorry Molly, sucks that it had to be you.
Dumbledore frustrates me for similar reasons, there's just not enough flavor; the Grindelwald thing from the movies would have been great if it were handled better and also officially written into canon, because it turns Dumbledore's life into a magnificently cool You Must Become Evil To Defeat It arc. how wild would that be? Dumbledore steps out of public life in the 30's to deny himself the temptations of power but the War forces his hand, three times, first with Grindelwald and then twice with Voldemort and so — gradually, gradually, but surely — Dumbledore is made to take the power he so feared, made to accept honors and give advice to Ministers and eventually he's grooming children as soldiers and thinking this is fine, I can handle this, and then he's keeping secrets from his closest lieutenants and lying to the Ministry about his plans and he's still thinking I'm the only one who can handle this, and then by the time he realizes Harry has to die, maybe he doesn't hesitate. And maybe he's still technically morally in the right, and it's necessary, but — hey, anyone think about what Dumbledore was planning to do if Harry hadn't volunteered to die? But listen: it's for the greater good.
Because maybe he never really stopped thinking that way. Maybe you need a Greater Good Guy on your team, if you're not gonna get your ass beat, but that doesn't mean you should necessarily crown him. And maybe you're not the hero the wizarding world deserves, but you're the one it needs right now, and all his life Albus Dumbledore desperately wanted to be the hero but destiny made him the anti-villain. Anyway that was some cool fanfiction I just wrote. In the books he's an old dude who's never wrong and he likes socks.
#this is already getting way too long so i'm gonna answer the others in another post#but yeah! oh the fifth least favorite character — after a long power gap — is cho#I like cho IN THEORY I really struggle with her in canon#because she's flat. she's Pretty Quidditch Girl who cries a lot and then betrays them i want more i want FOOD#which could even just be a single conversation if harry ever like... asked her about it!#there's this series on ao3 by dirgewithoutmusic about the underappreciated girls of harry potter#and their work on cho is amazing. that cho is my babygirl. the canon cho is unfortunately not that#cant tag all these fools without someone getting mad so we just freewheelin

Bone doesn't like to be chastised and might try to bite Jack. He was alone with Jack in the dream so no one is there who he will actually listen to. He will bite and growl, more so if his attacks are avoided or if he's restrained. Bone is very grumpy without siblings or dad.
Bone understands different dimensions but tsams Jack and arcade Jack are in two different ballparks. Same name, similar design, strikingly different in personality. He would have a similar problem with Ruin and Eclipse if someone referred to both of them as Eclipse without 'context'. Arcade is just a much bigger leap into the multiverse than the mostly tsams focused dimensions he usually travels to. If tsams is the milky way, arcade is Andromeda (probably further out but this is the other galaxy I know off the topic of my head)
I had a dream where Bone met Jack and refused to believe he was Jack. He kept referring to Jack as Fack, fake Jack.
... So. Like bone the Blood Moon? Meeting up with arcade Jack. But like he only knows the other type of Jack. So he's.. hehehehehahahahaha!
Jack of course has a bit more understanding of all this dimensional stuff. And he's slowly starting to learn that one name is not the same in another universe. So he probably just chastised them for comparing him to their Jack. A while also trying to get a good scare as vengeance.

I’m just curious about any changes made about doctor psychobos and the nemetrix in general, love that stuttering genius, and I use the term loosely
One of the things I'd wanna keep is his goals. The show does have the problem of him falling into the goal of "I want to rule/destory everything!" like most Ben 10 villains down the line. I liked his original goal of just wanting to prove the galvans wrong, in that other aliens can be smart, or even smarter than them, but the galvans are prideful and always look down on people. In fact while Psychobos may not exactly win and beat Ben, he is right in that the galvans do have a big problem in putting down other people, something Azmuth acknowledges. I'd even have it that Azmuth compliments Psychobos's work, saying that the nemetrix is indeed impressive, but points out the biggest flaw going against Psychobos is his need for validation from the Galvans, and that he makes what he makes not to improve lives around him, or accomplish a goal that is worth while, but instead does it for attention and over a grudge. Psychobos could be much more if he didn't stoop down to this rivalry between the two species, but he never will because he's stubborn and prideful. It also doesn't help that Psychobos will work for any villain if their plans allow him to discover and invent new things, as long as he can get ahead of the galvans. So Psychobos's character I want to be a showcase of how someone could acheive great things, but will allow himself to be pushed around or lose sight of what makes inventing good, all for pride and a grudge that he doesn't have to be a part of. Along with him helping the main cast go more into depth with the problem of galvan culture, and how Azmuth and Ben wants to fix it. As for the nemetrix itself, I would mostly keep it the same, but I would add a bigger playlist, but also play into the idea that same aliens don't have predators, or Khyber couldn't get the predator to some aliens. As cool as something like the Slammoid is, I refuse to belive Khyber somehow made it to Andromeda for that single DNA, lol. Especially since it always felt like Andromeda was supposed to be this new and distant place not many can get to during the UAF era. So this would help provide more of a challenge for Khyber over time, having to get creative with what predators to pick for those he doesn't have an answer to, similar to how Ben has to be smart with his choices.

Donut for gills and sparks
oh god youre going to make me come up with scifi food items for this
🍩 DONUT - favourite sweet treat?
GILLS:
Unfortunately for Gills, Ambymanders' digestion doesn't mesh well with processed sugar. It's not that they can't eat any sugar ever, of course, but they lack the receptors to taste sweet stuff the same way we do. Some of it even makes them pretty sick. So what we think of in terms of pastries and sweets is out the window- instead, you'd want to look at Ambymander-specific treats. Sticky, rice-like seeds provide an interesting bit of texture or filling for a meat-based wrap or small appetizers, saltwater plants harvested and candied or dried for a salty crunch, etc... But I think regardless of what's good for his species, Gills would have a weakness for something junky and nostalgic- but probably not something too popular. A stick of protein and salts, rolled into a type of dough and then pulled like taffy, preserved in a plastic wrap and sold mass-market across Andromeda. A sort've "species blind" all-encompassing snack that some people swear by, but most turn their nose at. Basically, the equivalent of black liquorice. He had it enough as a kid that it's his vice in adulthood.
SPARKS:
Sparks' species runs into a similar problem with digesting sugars, but it lies more in the fact that they're limited to the synthorganic proteins found on Tenjari. Automatics relied both on hunting other synthorganic creatures native to the planet, as well as their exceptional developments in agriculture, mastering the unique bacteria of their planet to cultivate modified crops that they could better digest. Therefore, they have their own elaborate cooking methods and recipes across every Tenjarian culture. This includes desserts- ranging from sweet, to tangy, to... almost kind of metallic? It tastes better than it sounds. I think Sparks would be partial to fruitier/tangier desserts and pastries, but still has a couple absurdly sweet favorites from childhood. A pie with a lovingly laced crust, deep navy from the outside, speckled with star-like hints of vibrant blue, and shockingly pink with fruit that's spent weeks preserved in a jar once you slice into it. Often, older automatics will wash down the overwhelming sweetness with a drink like nail polish remover- bitter, but calming for all those buzzing microbes in your gut.
...wow i wrote a lot about food. thanks Rex !!
