Both Scott and Stiles turned around to look at them with bewildered expressions on their faces. Theo blinked back, uncomprehending of their shock.

“They?” Scott repeated.

“They. Not he. They.”

“They. Got it.”

“I’m sorry, what just happened?” one of the doctors (at least, Theo assumed they were doctors, based on their fancy lab coats) asked. Scott and Stiles took a second to respond, looking at each other in what seemed like bewilderment. Eventually, while Scott went to go write something down, Stiles turned back to the line of superiors and answered the question. 

“It seems they’re more self-aware than we thought.”

Three days after the crash, Liam was woken up from his sleep by someone tapping on his bedroom window. Immediately Liam shot out of bed, but when he turned to look he saw Mason crouched on the roof on the other side of the glass. “What do you want, Mase?” Liam asked as he opened up the window.

Synthetics are part of everyday life, with Hale Robotics leading the industry in synthetics for every day living, companions, and police force standard MX combat models.

Stiles is a DRN; his programming is built around Synthetic Souls.

The aim of synthetic soul was to mimic the soul of a human being, allowing a synthetic android to experience feelings & emotions and to form emotional attachments or empathetic bonds.

DRNs have been out of use for decades because they were too lifelike for their human counterparts.

Derek Hale, heir to Hale Robotics, finds Stiles in his junkyard, where he's been a mechanic for the last 24 years. The last thing he expected was the android to be functional, much less it being a Hale DRN, which is the last project his mother had been working on before the fire. And Stiles was unlike any other DRN that Derek had ever seen before… he was so human and lifelike that Derek hated him for it.

Stiles jerked at the word bot and looked down at the table then. The last family that he’d been with had called him that and he’d cut his finger on purpose in hopes that they’d ship him off to a new family. Apparently here wasn't any better than there. His facial recognition scan finished and he kept his gaze fixed on the table as he spoke. 

“Your name is Derek Hale,” Stiles said softly. “You’re my maker’s son. You.. kind of have a scar on your brow… it makes your eyebrow hair grow funny,” he explained without looking up at him. He couldn't believe what he’d been called, especially by Talia Hale’s son. “I don't have anywhere to go…” No one wanted or used Hale DRNs anymore and if he wasn't wanted here then he wouldn't be wanted anywhere.

Puoi vedere questa opzione nel menu dei tre puntini di un post consigliato (basato sui tuoi Mi piace, apprezzato da un blog che segui, basato su un tag che segui, postato sul feed "Per te").

Sul web, abbiamo aggiunto i permalink dei post ai timestamp nelle intestazioni dei post e nelle intestazioni dei reblog, per facilitare l'accesso diretto ai post. Dovrai abilitare "Mostra timestamp" nelle impostazioni della dashboard per vedere questi timestamp.

Anche sul web, ora puoi premere Command+clic (Mac) o Ctrl+clic (Windows) sullo spazio vuoto dell'intestazione di un post o di un reblog per aprire quel post in una nuova scheda o finestra.

Abbiamo risolto un problema recente che faceva sì che la scheda Seguiti mostrasse i post consigliati invece dei post dei blog che segui per alcuni utenti.

Sul web, abbiamo risolto un problema che causava il ripristino completo dello stato attivo della tastiera alla chiusura di un popover. Ora, la chiusura di un popover con la tastiera ripristinerà il focus sull'elemento in cui ti trovavi prima di aprire il popover.

Abbiamo risolto un bug sul web che contava in eccesso gli elementi dell'attività in una riga raggruppata per 1.

Sul web, lo stile del pulsante Elimina blog nella pagina delle impostazioni del blog è stato aggiornato per rendere meno facile il clic accidentale.

Sul web, il menu dei 3 puntini nell'intestazione della vista del blog mostrerà l'opzione "Ricevi notifiche" dopo aver seguito il blog.

Per tutti coloro che hanno avuto problemi nel rimuovere il badge "Top Poster Club" (i denti), questo bug dovrebbe essere stato eliminato. Riavvia l'applicazione. Facci sapere se hai ancora problemi.

Stiamo ancora indagando su un problema nelle app per dispositivi mobili che causa la riproduzione automatica dell'audio di alcuni annunci. Pensiamo di averlo individuato e speriamo di avere una soluzione molto presto.

Sul web, nella visualizzazione delle attività, stiamo ancora sperimentando le nuove etichette delle relazioni di follow e gli indicatori dei messaggi non letti. Tale modifica potrebbe essere sparita per alcuni utenti che l'avevano già avuta durante l'esperimento iniziale.

Siamo anche a conoscenza di un problema che impedisce agli utenti iOS di accettare i badge guadagnati. Sarai comunque in grado di accettarli dal web, anche in Safari su iOS.

Siamo consapevoli che attualmente esiste un bug con la riorganizzazione dei set di foto su Android. Avremo una correzione per questo nella prossima versione!

Per chi non lo conoscesse, nostr è una piattaforma stile Twitter che, però, rivoluziona il mondo dei social. Infatti, la caratteristica che lo rende unico è di essere assolutamente decentralizzato e incensurabile. Il meccanismo è simile a quello della blockchain: ci sono dei nodi (i server nostr), che chiunque può aprire, e dei client per connettersi. Quando scriviamo un messaggio, questo viene inviato ai vari server che lo distribuiscono. In questo modo, anziché esserci un'entità centrale che può censurare a suo piacimento, visto che il messaggio verrà distribuito su più server, per censurarlo bisognerebbe controllarli tutti! Essendo nato proprio per garantire la totale libertà di pensiero e di espressione, sarà impossibile per qualsiasi entità controllare l'interezza della rete. Esattamente come Bitcoin.

Sempre seguendo l'esempio di Bitcoin sull'utilizzo della crittografia, il nostro account è fornito di una chiave privata con cui possiamo accedere e di una chiave pubblica che permette di farci seguire dagli altri.

Per semplificare lo scambio di contatti, visto che la chiave pubblica è una lunga stringa alfanumerica impossibile da ricordarsi, esiste la possibilità di creare un indirizzo NIP-05, simile ad un indirizzo email, che possiamo condividere facilmente. Il mio è clacclo@nostr.red

Le analogie con Bitcoin non finiscono qui! Infatti, grazie alla possibilità di collegare un indirizzo Lightning Network, il NIP-05 può essere usato anche per ricevere invoice LN.

Il progetto è ancora allo stadio iniziale, le interfacce sono ancora piuttosto pesanti e complesse ma, comunque, facilmente usabili dopo una prima configurazione. Sicuramente in futuro ci saranno notevoli sviluppi e miglioramenti, come ad esempio una app per Android (per iOS esiste già), ma già da ora è possibile usare la web-app salvando la pagina sulla home del telefono. Quindi, tutto sommato, è anche più comodo dello scaricare un'altra applicazione che riempie la memoria...

1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)

Okay I have 3 fandoms I've written for, so it depends what you're into.

For Teen Wolf, I think Electric Heart is my favourite. It's a season 2 futuristic AU where Stiles is an android featuring ace Derek.

For Good Omens, I only wrote three fics, but I think don't ruin this on me was really good. Crowley has freckles made of stars and many questions and it's soft and just a little angsty.

For The Last of Us, go with either your soft place to land, which is a 5 times + 1 fic of people calling Joel Ellie's dad and is my most popular fic, plus it's only 3k so it's shorter, or if you really want to go hard, I think the best fic I've written is memories feel like weapons (i miss who i used to be). It's 34k and sad but in a good way. It's about the things Ellie owns and the things she steals.

2. Go to your AO3 “Works” page, to the sidebar with all the filters, and click the drop-down arrow for “Additional Tags.” What are your top 3-5 most used tags? Do you think they accurately represent your writing habits?

I didn't really realize I wrote that many Derek fics. The other two literally are like all my TLOU fics XD

7. Any worldbuilding you’re particularly proud of?

Electric Heart again actually! Like I said, futuristic AU where werewolves are known. I thought I did pretty good with that one.
