Everyone is so worked up because Will never showed his mark, some of them speculated his soulmate is a mortal, some of them argued that it could be unrequited love like his soulmate might be Annabeth but she found her soulmate so he's destined to be alone. No one knows for sure, except for his sister Kayla.

WIP Wednesday (8/14) | Mafia Front Restaurant AU (Part 205)

Kevin was starting to go a bit insane stuck in the kitchen all day. So stepping into the dark alley is a welcome reprieve from the fluorescent lighting glaring off a dozen humming stainless steel appliances. He lets out a sigh as Jean’s hand finds his lower back and steers him towards the car, eventually backing him against the hood. Kevin lets himself be pushed to sit and Jean puts out a pack of cigarettes. 

“I told Neil we would leave him if he’s not out here by the time I’m done,” Jean says, holding the stick between them. 

Kevin laughs, “You’d never leave him.”

“I could,” Jean lights his cigarette and steps in between Kevin’s knees, letting them bracket his legs. 

“You wouldn’t.” Kevin’s hands settle on his hips and he closes his eyes. Jean takes his cue and gently blows the smoke into Kevin’s face. He inhales it greedily. He’s never understood Neil’s fascination with it— especially after his horribly morbid explanation— but the smell is weirdly nice. Grounding.

“I like the way your eyelids flutter when I do that,” Jean murmurs around his cigarette. Their cigarette. Then he brushes his knuckles down Kevin's cheek, rubs his thumb across Kevin's bottom lip. “Makes me think of other things.”

“Was there any whipped cream left?” Kevin asks, looking up at him. Jean’s eyes widen.

“Fuck, I forgot.” He pushes the cigarette into Kevin’s hand. “I'll be right back, cher."

As soon as he disappears back into the restaurant, Kevin leans back on one arm and tilts his head to look down the alley. And his heart stops when he sees a familiar silhouette standing there staring at him. Before he can say anything or try to explain, Andrew continues down the sidewalk. There's no air suddenly, Kevin can't breathe. How much did he see? Did he hear them talking? Does he know? Will he tell someone? Kevin’s pulse speeds at the idea and he looks down at his hand before raising Jean’s cigarette— their cigarette— to his lips.

I like his romanticism and the fact that he reads way too much poetry also I just love how entirely willing he was to kill the warden that was always leering at Ashley

As a general I like jealous over protective characters

Also in story I really like brother/sister relationships they have always been my fave and I love toxic messed up codependency

And in a lot of the extra scenes and stuff he's actually really sweet to Ashley, like him being the only to buy her anything on her birthday and I love that

Basically the guy won me over the second he started talking about how romantic being buried on the same coffin after a double suicide would be

Plus I just really like how much he manhandles and just kinda touches Ashley all the time. Him chocking her was so hot.

i think we as a fandom don't talk about dan and renee enough aftg hitlist anon. i understand that renison and mattdan (?) prevail but we need to look at the sheer potential in that one short story about dan's recruitment alone. the sports rivalry turned hatred. dan only getting recruited because wymack came to watch renee. the strip club. having to unite in the face of misogynists. do you see the vision. do u see the vision aftg hitlist anon.

general hcs for aftg zombie apocalypse? me i think kevin would try to be leader but unfortunately no one would listen to him/take him seriously :(

now i think if we’re talking like a few years into the apocalypse then it gets interesting like how the characters would change physically like….and what weapons would they use!! they’d def run into people who use exy rackets as weapons and kevin would be disgusted with them i think.

SUCH A FUN ASK THANK YOUUUUUUU! first of all your idea for kevin is so funny i have to concede. its true no one would care for him at all even if he tries.... honestly though (thinking hard) i think what kevin lacks in leader charisma he makes up for in the department of giving the rest of the group a Reason To Live and creating schedule and purpose where there is neither, so maybe he ummm...... well he's not gonna be the leader of the pack but he can be like the mascot. the shiny thing to cling to. you know what i mean. kevin's indomitable human spirit!

not to be guy who is kandreil pilled but i do think kevin would be very important for andrew and neil to live beyond the survival! i will put a dollar in the kevin day bird motif jar for this but in a way hed be like their little canary in a coal mine... while the crew travels i think kevin would be the one to point out the scenery or the bits of history along or to go over peoples houses and find pieces of life that are useful and maybe even endearing. and yeah hed hate the racquets as weapons! the complaining and the grumbling about it is not as annoying as andreil thought it would be (they are pleasantly surprised kevin still has it in him to care about anything)

AHHH sorry u asked for fun hcs and i gave you a long poem about kevin day being everyones special little boy lets see hmmm... of course andrew has the knives but i think he would eventually pick up something more violent as the world falls deeper in despair. a mallet perhaps? a hammer? something heavy! neil would i think do well with a gun and not actual hand to hand combat, sniping behind them....... i think kevin would also have a weapon of sorts something like a switchblade or a baseball bat. non-lethal but definitely harmful

WIP Wednesday (4/24) | Vampire Andrew AU (Part 117)

Andrew pulls away immediately, feeling a thousand times better. He uses Nicky’s eyes as a mirror and sees he’s only got a bit of blood trickling from the corner of his mouth this time. He thumbs it away before saying, “I owe you.”

“If you pick up the popcorn explosion, we’ll be even,” Nicky mutters before slipping into his post-drink coma. Andrew rolls his eyes at the request but agrees to the terms. He’s picked up twenty-three pieces before Aaron unwisely opens his mouth.

“I’m starting to think we need to lock you in a bathroom for a while.” 

Andrew freezes for a second at that. And Nicky valiantly tries to sit up, the venom making it a bit difficult for him to get his voice working. “Don’t—”

“If you find a bathroom that can hold me, you can try.” Andrew challenges, looking Aaron in the eye. To prove his point, he zips around the room and picks up every piece of popcorn he sees— which is all of them, one hundred and nineteen to be exact. Then he pushes the bowl into Aaron’s hands.

His twin looks up at him, bewildered for a moment at his speed. “I’ll get to work on that.”

“Good luck.” Andrew wipes his hands on his jeans to remove the greasy feeling. “I have to go back to the court now. If you hear sirens… It’s probably me.”

“We’ll bust out the good pitchforks for you,” Aaron jokes. Then he takes a piece of popcorn from the bowl and Andrew doesn’t stop him from putting it in his mouth.

“Hey… That was… on the floor,” Nicky slurs, making Aaron grimace.

“Oh. Ew.” His face twists and Andrew cackles as he leaves, finally in a decent mood.

((On a more serious note: I wanted to highlight how often Neil is consumed by this new lifestyle. Classes beginning. Practices ending. Etc.

Neil fully delves into this new life because he truly believes it IS the last few months of his life. I wanted to document the time Neil spends immersing himself into succeeding and learning, even in this believed End Times to show you that when the Quiet does happen, it's earned.

As Coach will say, soon enough: "If anything, I should be thanking you. You told us last night you intended to end the year dead or in federal custody. You could have shut everyone and everything out and worried about yourself this year. Instead you agreed to help Dan fix this team.")

((Plus I just think its fun to remember that this book was just "highlights" of Neil's life and that there was more to Neil than just what we saw on page.))
