Beach Week Feat Andre and Vassago

Andrealphus winced as soon as he stepped out of the portal, the sudden heat hitting him like a tidal wave. Despite being dressed down and out of his usual attire, the peacock found it far too warm for his liking. His outfit consisted of a simple, yet elegant light blue two piece with a matching wide brimmed hat, shades, and a wrap covering the bottom half of his suit. Atop his hat sat his tiara, which completed the whole ensemble.

Such an outfit instantly garnered looks from his fellow beach goers, but for once Andrealphus paid them no mind. Instead he turned toward the portal, fanning himself with one hand as he waited for Vassago to join him.

"Do hurry up; this heat is simply unbearable." He wanted to check in and go to their room as soon as possible to cool off.

Stella Week Day 3 - Winter/Siblings

I actually have a lot of characters in the Hunger Series who are either redesigned or just haven't been drawn by me yet because I can only draw Stella and Ipos (I have a problem I know sobs).

I might've made Andre a little too-old looking in this one? There's a 6 year gap between them in my AU and I was imagining Stella to be 10 so he's just a rly tall 16 year old I guess aaa

Andrealphus Week！

Stolas has lost everything-- his title, his Palace, his money, his powers, his legions, his job, CUSTODY OF HIS DAUGHTER...!

And yet, I am VERY excited to find out more about what his job is/was, by watching Andrealphus (try to) do it.

Will the Icey Prince have more difficulty performing the Harvest Moon Ceremony than our more heat-tolerant, plant & botany-loving Prince Stolas?

Will he read the prophecies with ease, or will he have people breathing down his neck about not predicting the future with the speed and clarity they've come to expect from Stolas?

Are there aspects of the job that Andrealphus-- social climber, adept in the ways of the Court-- will do better than Stolas?

Will we see him complaining about the paperwork? How much paperwork does (did) Stolas DO in a normal week?

We have a chance to find out soon, and I am HERE for it!

DAY 3: Drinking/Night out

Do you think that the fact Stolas didn't took his pills for weeks contribuited to cause his "what a fucking idiot I am" breakdown and to give him the strenght to beat Andrealphus?

I definitely think so, yeah! Not that you can't have that kind of breakdown while being medicated—you definitely can—but Stolas has never expressed his emotions like this before, not even as his previous lowest points in the show, not even while drunk. The whole hitting his face against the desk, insulting himself out loud, and becoming violent is very unlike the Stolas we know, the Stolas who goes quiet and retreats and cries silently and sings his sorrows away. And I do think the pills have everything to do with that, considering how much importance they're given throughout the episode.

After all, they get brought up over and over again. First, when Stolas keeps trying to reach out for them every morning as his mental health slowly worsens (his energy levels depleting, his expression growing more and more vacant and tired, until all he can do is just collapse on the couch on Sinsmas morning). And then when Via finds them, reflects upon what they must mean, goes out of her way to bring them to Stolas, and then asks if it was her fault that he needed them. We even get a close-up shot of them in Stolas' hands as he cries.

We, the audience, are consistently shown just how vital Stolas' medication is, and just how much being off it affects him. So yes, I do believe his breakdown at the office is just a culmination of weeks of trying to exist in a new body, in a new environment, and away from his daughter without them. The call about the extended warranty is the final straw, and he just snaps and goes full self-deprecating and self-destructing. (The fact he goes back to the palace knowing he's defenceless against Andrealphus is also a sign that he's not thinking clearly about his life anymore, not caring if he lives or dies—another symptom of depression).

I really love how this episode didn't shy away from just how messy depression can be!

IT'S NOW LESS THAN A WEEK BEFORE WE GET MASTERMIND!

So here's everything that we know about Mastermind, just as a quick little recap:

It was confirmed at a panel that Vassago will be making an appearance in Mastermind, meaning that there's less than a week before Vassago's debut, who is voiced by Harvey Guillén. It was also confirmed at the same panel that Vassago is not a one-off character, and will be appearing 'much more' in season 3.

According to this bluesky user, at the YC Con Panel, Vivzie stated that there's an 'incredible song' she's really proud of in Mastermind, the episode also has a specific tone to it and that the mentioned tone of the episode is different from the other episodes.

Finally, here are the scenes in the trailer that we haven't seen in the show so far:

The cloaked figures. "We've got you surrounded!"

The scene where they're trying to escape something. "Get ready for a life on the run gang!"

The IMP gang being attacked by something, we don't know what this something is at the moment, in the hallway where IMP is located.

Vassago in a courtroom, presumably something related to a trial of sorts. "Where is Stolas anyway?" "We need to summon him at once!"

Satan reveal - "You're a disgrace."

Stolas getting attacked by someone. Attacker has been theorized to be either Andrealphus or Paimon.

Mammon giving someone the middle fingers, also appears to take place inside the courtroom. (I am still obsessed with the finger skateboard and fidget spinner Mammon has in this scene)

Andrealphus powers up and takes over Stolas' palace.

Stella discussing something with someone in what looks like Andrealphus' palace.

Octavia gets to show off her magic in cool visuals, and what is most likely a visual during a song. "You never loved mother and you don't love me. You love him!"

ngl, I like how we're occasionally being fed little vague crumbs about the episode, it really keeps me looking forward to see what ends up happening in Mastermind, plus the fact that we don't really know much about Mastermind as well right now.

Being married to royalty definitely had it's pros. You had people waiting on you hand and foot, people knew who you were, and you got to shop without worrying too much about the money.

That was one of the best parts.

But being married to royalty also had it's cons. You constantly had people trying to kill you, you had to deal with your husband's bitch sister every time she came over to visit, and your husband got too caught up in his royal duties that he sometimes completely forgot to pay you any attention.

That was the worst part, by far.

Right now, you were currently sitting on your bed, texting your brother in law, Stolas.

You and Stolas were close, confiding to each other about anything and everything, from his feelings towards an imp, to how much the both of you absolutely loathed Stella.

Deciding that you were getting bored of texting, you put your phone down and went searching through the castle, looking for your husband.

After about a few minutes of looking, you found him in his office, typing away on a typewriter. From what you could tell from his body lanuage, he seemed stressed.

"My love are you alright?" you asked softly as you walked into the office.

No answer.

"My love?" you asked a little louder.

Still no answer.

"Andrealphus?"

He still didn't answer.

Letting out a puff of air, you walked over to behind his chair, putting your hands on his shoulders. He didn't say anything, instead easing into your touch.

"Is everything alright?" you asked, lightly massaging his shoulders. "You seem really stressed."

"Yes, I'm fine, dear" he said, resting his head back, meeting your eyes. "I just want to get this letter sent out before the end of the week."

"Who's the letter to?" you asked, continuing your massage.

"Asmodeus,"

"Asmodeus? I thought you didn't like him?"

"I don't, but this is a rather urgent matter," he groaned as you hit a pressure point.

"What's the occasion?" you asked.

"He wants the two of us to meet at his club to discuss his sex toy production,"

"Why would he want to do that exactly?"

"That I don't know, my dear,"

"Do you want me to go with you?" you smirked, leaning down to his hear. "For moral support, of course."

Your husband chuckled. "As much as I want you with me" he started. "I don't want you in that type of environment."

"Aw, you're no fun," you playfully stuck out your tongue. "When do you think you'll be done?"

"Later today,"

"There's a but isn't there?"

"I'm sorry, my love," he said, lightly frowning. "But after I finish this, I have to attend a meeting at my sisters."

"Of course it's at Stella's," you said under your breath, pulling your hands away from your husband. "Is it actually a meeting, or are the two just going to bitch about Stolas the whole time?"

"No, this is an actual meeting," Andrealphus said, getting out of his chair. "The whole Ars Goetia is going to be there, including Stolas."

He gently cupped your face with his hands. The cold touch of his palms and fingertips making a shiver go down your spine and goosebumps appear all over your skin.

"I know you want us to spend more time together, Y/N," he said softly. "I do too, but you know I have duties to attend to."

"Yeah, I know," you grumbled, looking up to meet his blue eyes. "I just wish you didn't have to all the time."

"I know, I know," he said before closing the gap between you two and kissed you softly.

His cold lips were a nice contrast to your warm ones. Even though this was probably the thousandth time the two of you had kissed, it made your heart melt and your knees turn to jelly.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise," he whispered as he pulled away. "How about we go to a nice place for dinner, hm? Would that make up for it?"

"Mmm maybe," you giggled. "Only if you're paying."

"Don't I always, love?" he laughed. "I'll meet you out front at 8, you better be ready by then."

"I will," you said, pecking him on his beak. He blushed. He absolutely loved when you did that. "I'll see you then, handsome."

He removed his hands from your face, kissing you on the forehead. "I can't wait to see how you look, my love."

"Well, I better go start planning my outfit then," you said, walking out of the office. "I love you Andrealphus,"

"I love you too, Y/N,"
