so my eyesight is definitely getting worse and I'm so fucking anxious about it that I'm constantly waking up after 2 or 3 hours of sleep and can't go back to sleep. I've been a doc twice and they can't see anything wrong so i have no idea what's happening but it's been causing me stress since the year started and I'm going insane i hate this so much. i need to make more doc appointments bc idk what else to do. I'm gonna have to close my ko fi shop and refund the current orders i have bc i just can't function enough to pack them. i can only do the very bare minimum of adulting it is pain. i hate being anxious 24/7 it doesnt fucking go away and i keep having panic attacks and my blood pressure is so high aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa truly the worst year of my life! i never did the eye surgery so it wasn't that, i literally went to the doc bc of the problems in the first place and just wanted to know if i even qualified andc then got talked into it. i am having such an awful shit time

steve and cole mean so much to me like genuinely

theyre a lot more than just “steve was mentally ill and then he met cole andc cole fixed him” they are absolutely more than that i need to preface by saying that but it means so much to steve that cole cares about him so much through literally everything

cole has seen the worst parts of him and stays, even when they were first just becoming acquainted he knew that there was more to steve than just that protective outer shell he put on and has spent so long trying to help him escape it. steve meanwhile has spent so many years with it that he’s nearly forgotten and completely lost all hope that he could be anybody aside from the “act” he puts up ever again, but cole still tries

and then as they get super close and he learns about all the terrible shit steve has done (especially regarding the cult, the murders and all that) he still stays and sees for himself that steve truly never wanted to be a bad person he’s just in terrible circumstances with no escape. even when steve himself paints himself to be an unforgivable monster he can still see past it and steve doesn’t understand why cole doesn’t leave knowing he’s constantly at risk, since steve cant always control who krakrofis deems as their next target

cole has this persistence and trust for steve that doesn’t ever waiver even after seeing every side of him, both the good and the bad and for steve it brings on a whole different list of emotions. he doesn’t understand above all else, he doesn’t understand why he chose HIM and won’t leave no matter what he sees and hears about him, he doesn’t get what makes him so special. it scares him, he knows inevitably he’s going to hurt him one way or another and no matter how hard he tries to be better for this sweet sweet boy there’s going to come a time where he gets hurt because being around him is a risk and he can’t bare the thought of that, but at the same time it gives him hope because clearly cole sees something in him that he can’t see about himself anymore, and maybe just MAYBE it’s possible that he’s going to be correct in some way that maybe he’s good, maybe there’s hope for him
