what bugs me even more abt my animal literature final being so specific despite having whatever content we want to choose from, is that i do have sources where i could potentially have a case to say something interesting about the distance between humanity and animals, and we HAVE covered that through frank kafka’s work, so in a different class itd be up for grabs, but because we have to focus on a very specific thing instead (what a movie says that is teaching the audience how we should treat animals) i have to throw that out even though its way more interesting to me

1. Are you named after anyone?

yeah. Alyssa Milano played a girl named Samantha in the show ‘Who’s The Boss?’ and my mom used to look just like her, so friends and family would jokingly call her Samantha. she loved the name, and Alyssa Milano. my aunt (my mom’s sister) loves her just as much and named her daughter Alyssa. so my cousin and i are both named after her, we’re 11 days apart, and best friends lol it’s pretty dope. i also love Alyssa Milano, so that’s cool, too.

2. When was the last time you cried?

yesterday. over something so small lol. my anxiety and depression usually gets the best of me, (i’m fine don’t freak), and sometimes i get overly frustrated about simple tiny things or feel like i can cry over anything. yesterday’s dilemma was because i was supposed to be getting my puppy this upcoming monday, but the date was pushed forward to wednesday. just two days later. lmao hi, i’m ridiculous.

3. Do you have kids?

nope. unless dog mom counts.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

*gasp!* i would never.

6. What’s your eye color?

brown with a little bit of green, but not enough. green eyes are gorgeous and i want them so bad.

7. Scary movie or happy ending?

happy endings are great, but like, it depends. i hate Hallmark stuff, but 80s/90s romance movies are my fav. and i don’t read or reach for fluffy fics/books often. but a happy ending to a dark fic (for example) is cool. i LOVE scary movies/books/shows, but i’m not sure if i’d choose an ending of death and despair over a nice happy.... Drarry fic for example.

8. Any special talents?

i feel like being talented at something is kinda opinion oriented? but things i guess people might say i’m decent at are like photography, editing photos, i’m particularly really good at facetune and photoshop, occasionally drawing... idk. but all of the edits i’ve ever posted on this blog have been edited on my phone, so i guess thats slightly cool. i’m also a great judge of character. i can whistle. i can fold my tongue into thirds. i can grown my hair extremely fast. i’m great at breaking any nail i ever try to grow. i know the Hamilton, Wicked, and The Greatest Showman soundtracks word for word. i’m the best at writing fics and abandoning them when i get tired and never going back to them. i bruise easier than a banana. wow. we love a girl with pure #talent

10. What are your hobbies?

reading, listening to a large amount of podcasts and audiobooks, photography/editing, binge-watching shows and movies, watching an unhealthy amount of youtube, drawing mediocre portraits on my phone, writing drarry stuff occasionally, and this blog.

i’m about to get a golden retriever puppy on wednesday!!!!!!

i was a cheerleader in elementary/middle school. yikes. that sounds active and possibly cool, but i was just a base.

general education class: math. algebra specifically.

extracurricular classes: art & i took like 6 years of drama/acting. loved it.

15. Dream job

kinda wish i could get paid to edit people’s pictures, or like get paid to write fanfiction. i’m not a pro, but it would definitely motivate me to write a lottttt more, practice a lot, and finally get my hundreds of ideas out of my mind, written, and shared. travel photography would be amazing, too. i’d also love to get paid to watch and review shows/movies. anything creative like all of those i suppose. i have no idea what i’m going to do for the rest of my life and it causes a lot of anxiety for me hahahahahaha #justgirlythings

what are your feelings on bangs? - i love bangs and thye really suit me, though they do make me look about 8 years younger and i hate growing them out
