I've been sitting on this ask for a bit, but I think I should finally answer.

In my AU, Fidds is actually pretty old-- not like ancient or anything, but surely a few centuries?

Anyway, so way back, when he was human, he did have a wife and a kid!! But when he got bit and became a vampire, he actually outlived them :(

He tries to think about them often, but it's definitely one of the things he chooses to erase when he creates the memory gun

About AM's screen: he can put anything in his screen-head (they'll look like pixel art however and normally a more simple version of it) and he can't sleep per say; HOWEVER! He can go through a hibernation/resting mode where he is still aware of everything, but he's using only the necessary of his fuctions to, well, fuction; so it's a way to save up energy instead of getting more energy (like sleeping)

all the news going around with unity's really got me worried for games that are already several years into development like Hollow Knight Silksong and Billie Bust up.

Just rough because I don't suppose a whole lot of games are going to be able to pivot game engines, let alone so late in development. Like it is easier said than done to pivot early in development but i've been following the development of several games that are years in at this point and the fact that they're grandfathering older titles into this is just... it's just bad.

The potential loss of games in terms of archival on such a massive scale....

Just had the idea of someone asking pyro what their favorite thing is and after struggle to tell, lets say engie in this case, through quick, excited, mummbles and frantic hand movements. They run off. Engineer thinks hes running off to get paper or something to just write down the thing. But instead she comes back holding Miss Pauling akin to how one might hold a curled up kitten, proudly and loveingly. <3

I absolutely love making Sabre a mad scientist/engineer because of the fact that majority of the machines he made worked on pure vibes and prayers and that’s basically how engineering works anyway

Like literally he would bullcrap a machine together in about 10 minutes, say “okay since this and this are connected it should work idk” AND THEN IT WOULD WORK EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED

Backed into an ally corner, catching shadows out of the corner of your eyes all night, now without anywhere else to run, you faced your nearly-invisible stalker head on for the first time.

You thought you made it out, truly believe you managed to escape your captor, but in a matter of hours, you were found, so much planning and effort for nothing. The disappointment almost outweighing your fear. "Where did you come from!?"

"I came to bring you home." He gazed back at you with an adoring look of compassion, but his lack of a real answer made you uneasy. "Could he have been following me all this time?" You wondered. While you were still a few paces away, but he had you cornered, he wasn't encroaching yet, merely waiting with both arms open for you to embrace him willingly.

Clenching both hands into fists at your sides you didn't dare try to escape, standing your ground as you shook your head 'no' glaring directly forward. Without lowering his arms, he cooed, "Don't look at me like that, pet. Let me take you home, aren't you tired of running?"

"I don't need you. I will never need or want you anywhere near me again." Fighting words through clenched teeth, but you weren't fooling anyone.

"So hostile, surly you don't mean it. You know I can keep you safe, provide for you. Pet, you have no reason to try and hide." You hated how he sounded like he was trying to console and reason with an unruly child.

You struggled to fight back tears, beyond frustrated at your own impotence. "I hate you, I will always hate you. Leave me alone!"

"You're lying, and we both know how much you need me. Haven't I told you before, you don't need to fake anything with me." He grinned at his own innuendo, but before you could fire back, you flinched watching him step closer, feeling your shoulders go ragged from your labored breathing, shivering with anxiety.

Pathetically, you hoped he wouldn't come any closer, but you should've known better as you were forced to watch with frieghtened, wide eyes as he prowled closer until he was close enough to wrap both arms around you, huddling your shivering body against his. "That's it, just rest up in my arms, I'm here."

He kissed the top of your head voice still soft with love, "Be good, let me take you home, alright?" Swallowing hard you didn't trust your own voice enough to respond, but one second later you heard him growl, "Don't make me do this the hard way."
