had a thought yesterday i shared with a friend but i think some people might like it!

trans grian whos a bit jealous of scar who doesnt seem to have any dysphoria. scar doesnt wear a binder and he doesnt care about how hes presenting to most people. he cares about his friends who know hes a guy and thats all that matters to him.

grian on the other hand has horrible dysphoria, especially when it comes to his chest. grian struggling to get out of a binder and having to ask someone to help. he considers mumbo but mumbo isnt trans as far as he knows and he feels weird about people seeing him without his binder, especially his cis friends. he still feels uncomfortable when messaging scar to help but he knows scar wont care. he knows mumbo or any of the others also wouldnt care but its about the fact that scar is trans and can understand. somewhat.

maybe grian admits one time hes jealous of scar. scar asks him why. "because you dont have dysphoria. or at least it looks like you dont".

and to scar thats very bittersweet.

hes lucky to not experience dysphoria but the reasons why are... less then pleasant. he had no one when growing up to compare himself to, there were no gender roles and there was nothing to make him dysphoric. he was just him and thats all that mattered. the zombies didnt care what he was, after all.

life series theorising (spoilers ahead beware)

i like lore and was bored so i compiled this neat lil theory about the life series'.

the main thought in this is, what if it was meant to end with secret life?

and that's why it was so different from the other series before? it was meant to be a big dramatic finale from the watchers and it got fucked up by the players still, and that's why we have wild life -where the watchers are angry and have completely let loose- .

think about it, the really obvious watcher reference in the secret keeper, no more mystery and controlling the games ominously from the shadows, they were directly "we are in control and doing this to you". the tasks getting harder and building up to the final "win secret life" it's so much an order than any other finale:

third life "there can only be one winner" -grian desperately wants to remain in his desert peacefully with scar but is forced to give it up to make it so there is only one winner as the watchers intended. even his jump of the cliff is an act of defiance, killing himself on his terms.

last life "i've spent all season being honourable, im not about to stop now" -scott isn't in a bloodlust like many other players, he is defying the watchers, not by living on peacefully (for he knows that isn't possible) but by having a fair match, being honest and never betraying allies and ending it in a similar fashion, the watchers are furious and strike him down for defying them, vowing to end this treachery.

double life "tilly death do us part" -pearl is given the win by scott. in lore you cant tell me that wasn't purposeful a pairing, and after sessions and sessions of fighting it all comes to an end with scott's sacrifice (already going against the watchers in not going with his soulmate and again by killing himself). the watchers are hoping, WAITING for this full scale fight that never happened. and the worst part is, PEARL FORGAVE HIM. they made up. the watchers are fucking pissedddd.

limited life "this is a death match for a reason" -martyn in the watchers grasps is common is lim life fics, and it leans into that build up of wanting control and watching players thwart it every time, so they full on possess a player and make him win the way they want, with betrayal and violence (even better the players were trying to organise another "fair fight" between the final three). They brought back the boogie, maybe that was there anger festering and they had to cause more chaos and bloodshed and on such short notice just borrowed from Last life? Even the life gimmick of lim life kinda feels like a hint at the near end, time is counting down like the watchers patience and willingness to play, once the countdown (limlife) is over, the finale begins. This time the game ends as the watchers want BECAUSE they interfered, proving to themselves they still control the games.

then we get to secret life and everything is meant to end:

jimmy isn't the first to die (canary curse)

scotts alliance breaks apart (his loyalty is finally tested)

a substantial amount of murder from non reds (boogey apocalypse)

in secret life everything changes

BUT IT DIDNT (dun dun dun)

LIZZIE DIED FIRST BUT WAS STUCK IN THE VOID, CANARY CURSE CONTINUES

GEM AND THE SCOTTS FALL APART IN THE BOOGEY APOCALYPSE BUT SCOTT IS STILL LOYAL AND LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE FOR GEM

AND PEOPLE SURVIVE THE BOOGEY APOCALYPSE, SO THE TASK FAILS

(i could draw more differences but this is enough example for me)

so their big dramatic finale failed

maybe that's why scar lived?

the watchers forgot him in the secret life world in their rage

UNTIL WILDLIFE:

when they are throwing everything at them possible (WILDNESS)

(atleast this time it seems to be working if mumbo's death is anything to go by)

- he's happy that when they are hurt by what he does/says at least he has control over this time. He's still keeping secrets. It's not until later that grian loses the upper hand he has keeping the way Watchers work a secret. Right now the others don't know what options they have, meaning that Grian can let himself die and there's nothing they can do about it. It's self destructive but he's smug about that, in a 'hahah im going to do this thing and theres nothing you can do about it' kind of way except the 'thing' is dying. He needs sooo much therapy

- Before, Scar knew they didnt have all the pieces to the puzzle. He knew Grian creating the game wasnt as simple as it seemed, he knew there was something greater at play. Later, he says "that's just not your style...I never believed you would. Not even for a second". Now that all the cards are on the table, Scar can't comprehend how there was so much he missed. He knew that just before mcc and before the games Grian gets tired. He didnt know why. Theres so much Grian kept from everyone, and Scar slowly piecing it together only to realise just how much pressure has been on Grian's shoulders, how much emotional weight he must be carrying. I can only imagine how much of this Scar reads on Grian's face in this moment

- It does change something!! Scar now understands- to some extent at least- WHY grian is acting the way he is. GRIAN doesnt think this changes anything. The fact that people know his motives doesnt mean they know how to stop his code from unraveling, after all. Ohoho. Grian you underestimate the hermits. Do you really not understand how insane they are!! Scar and the others are ready to do whatever they need to to stabilise grian's code and make it so Grian is able to properly live alongside all of them, SAFELY. Without fear. But Grian is so convinced he's unloveable that he cant see this

- this line genuinely had me throwing my phone onto my bed and putting my head in my hands.

- There is no more running. No more hiding. Grian has spent his entire time as a Watcher-disguised-as-a-player pretending and hiding the truth of his existence. But now everything is out. Everything that grian has spent years hiding because of self-hatred and disgust, thinking he is a monster beyond help or love; there is not much left for him to hide. His world is falling apart, theres no way to recover his life before, the one he oh so carefully cultivated on Hermitcraft. That life is gone.

my scarian "cinderella-but-with-a-weird-twist" au (long post ahead!)

first chapter is out <3

consider: grian is a thief, with the whole "being a thief in a fantasy world" clichés and shenanigans. and he is a good one, mind you. hes a member of a well-known thief guild and was partly responsible for some large scale robberies

grian is about to jump into his most ambitious robbery to date: he plans on stealing something directly from the castle, because fuck the monarchy and everything. of course, he knows he could easily get caught, but that doesnt stop him once he thinks about how much money he could make and how much respect he would receive from his peers

that being said, it will still take a lot of planning, though. first stage? infiltrating the castle and analyzing what exactly hes working with. luckily, a ball is taking place in a couple of days, and that sounds like a perfect opportunity for sneaking in without attracting much attention [first plot hole from the wip: how he gets into the ball? guess we will find out!]

grian gets pearl, his friend and also involved in the thief guild, to help him with disguising himself. the final result (any ariana griande fans around?) looks pretty convincing, and hes mostly confident he can make the plan work out for him

and, well, maybe it would have worked, if it wasnt for a stupid prince and his stupid goal to find a wife

you see, scar is not that interested in getting married. sure, as a prince, he knows he will need to get around to it eventually, but the pressure to do it right now? he just can't think of anyone who could be a good fit, someone he loves, or at least likes enough to spend a life and build a family together

until the kingdom organizes a ball, and scar meets the most fascinating woman he has ever seen in his life. while she looks beautiful in her red dress and long blonde hair, what truly gets him are her fierce eyes and the way she, when he supposedly isnt noticing, looks at him like she could kill him at any giving moment

scar immediately realizes shes not there for the reasons she says she is, and that makes him even more interested to know more about her

meanwhile, grian, under the dress, make-up and wig, could not be more annoyed at the prince for trying to talk or charm him in any way. sure, that could be a good opportunity for advancing with his plan, but it would be much easier if scar didnt act like the enchanted fairy tale prince he is

after that, time seems to fly, and, at the same time, it doesn't. grian finds himself stuck with scar for way longer than planned, and, as midnight approaches, he realizes he wont be able to get any more work done, besides the few locations and guard positions he could memorize from walking around with scar

as scar rambles about yet another little occupation from his privileged life, grian realizes he can't do that anymore. his feet hurt from wearing shoes definitely not made for him, and he can only think about his warm bed back home

getting rid of scar wouldn't be easy, though, so he made it the most impolite and unexplainable way he could think of: grian just. ran away. and left scar very confused, but somehow even more certain he had met someone he actually liked

jumping to a few days ahead, grian is feeling miserable. although he could draw from memory what seemed to be a decently accurate map of the area he saw on the castle, it wasn't enough. and now he couldn't think of a way to get back there

as the universe seems to hate (or maybe love) him for some reason, he hears knocking on the door

grian doenst mind getting out of his small messy office, as he knew pearl would be able to answer the door at such a time. still, curiosity got the best of him, and he decides to stay listening to see who in their right mind would be knocking at doors on a residential area with such a bad reputation

turns out its one of the princes servants, and grian immediately gets the feeling something is terrible, terrible wrong

(you won't possibly guess what happens next. god, why is this post so long)

as it turns out, the prince met a mysterious lady at the ball and is desperately looking for her around the kingdom, as the only thing she left behind when suddenly leaving the castle was one of her shoes. therefore, the castle is having all suiting ladies try on the shoe to see if it matches

grian locks the door to his office in desperation, while pearl reluctantly agrees to trying on the shoe. although the shoe doesn't fit her, she says there's someone else in the house who could try on it

grian firmly says he won't do it, but pearl tells him it could be a good opportunity to proceed with the plan, so he agrees

for the shock of the servant, the shoe fits perfectly

(scar, when informed, is very amused about the unexpected turn of events, and in no way minds his dream lady actually being a man. grian couldn't be more miserable)

this au is generally just my little scar angst pile and is just really messy cause its made via me listening to emo tiktok audios and walking in a circle and was made like 2 days ago and i havent like explored it good good and its probably not good story wise but like i said so far its my scar angst pile and i dont imagine myself actually working on this other than random thoughts durning the day BUT! miserable things that have maybe happened to scar in that au!:

-his bestest friend (cub) went missing at some point! reappeared as a villain and is basically an empty vessel for vexes and vey much not in control of himself and also tries to get him to accept vexes! leaves him very miserable everytime they see eachother

-i imagine like heroes generally dont know eachothers identities unless they tell eachother its like a trust thing, by a thing government might know. But the way scar found out mumbos identity was bc mumbo got really fucking hurt durning a mission they were on together and has this couple days coma and scar just refused to leave his side, he ofc felt bad about it but cmon its his friend!!! when mumbo woke up he offered to show him his face too but mumbo refused

-when mumbo left the whole hero gig scar was DEVASTATED, he gave him a big big hug and cried a little and they also made a deal that scar wont go out of his way to look for him for safety reasons or whatever (and also the fact that mumbo didnt want him to find out that hes gonna be joining their villain kind of friend)

-he works at a cafe to give him something normal to do when hes off duty, since he doesnt really have many non hero work friends and even if he did that friendship would be a hard time bc of the whole hero thing so working there when he has the time is his little escape and also a place where he meets grian! a very loyal customer who very quickly becomes one of his best friends even if they dont hang out much besides grians coming to the cafe. so imagine his suprise when his good pal grian brings in his other good pal mumbo and he has to act normal and not like he missed the man, its a very minor thing but HE MISSED THE MAN!!!

-when he finds out mumbo quit to become a villain he is quite distraught but hes deffo more distraught when he gets some crystal/bomb/whatever magic thing blown up in his face while trying to take it away from his kind of friend villain, and he technically dies? but vexes do keep following him in an attempt to join them and not very surprisingly saving his life is a pretty good offer when hes not really concious, now in this moment i am not sure whenever they villains just leave him after checking to make sure hes still alive and clicking an emergency button on his communicator or he, now under hre control of the vex attacks them or hes dead when they check all of those seem fun in one way or another

anyway theres a bit more?? but as you can see its all tangled in my head and most content was generated from me hearing music and going what if scar bad things happen

Soulmates and Saints

My First Empires x Hermitcraft Fanfic, i might add more later to this chapter but enjoy a peek

Grian stared at the black with a faint purple portal, or what remained of a portal.

Just 2 months ago him and some of his fellow hermits ventured into the Rift and was trapped in the world of Empires for a month.

After getting back, the Empires visited Hermitcraft just as the Hermits visited them, only this time they were able to get back home in the nick of time before the Rift closed.

That was 2 weeks ago, now the 2 worlds were once again separate, leaving the only physical evidence of it happening being a Christmas town, a set of heads, and the Rift.

It hasn't really bothered Grian personally, he got to see some of his friends from the Life Series, and he got to say goodbye.

However, some of the others were taking it harder, like a certain blazeborn who didnt get to say goodbye to his soulmate, his rancher.

It broke his heart to see his friend punch the obsidian in frustration and anger.

And his rancher, from what Grain could tell was teased almost bullied relentlessly by the god of the Server and some other members, he didn't show it but it got under his skin, Grian could tell.

Hermitcraft was fun and all, but a change of environment was fun, and healthy. Thats why Grian had originally created the Life Series, not only was it a fresh space but it also brought unlikely people together.

In the 3rd Series, Double Life, Some Hermits were paired up with non-hermits which made for some unlikely teams, although as almost like karma, Grian was paired with Scar.

After Double Life, Some of the Hermits had no way to see their soulmate, that had to be the 3 most gloomiest days he ever saw since joining Hermitcraft. But when they visited and were stuck in Empires, those Hermits got to see their soulmate again.

Gods, Grian couldent help but smirk as he recalled the moment Tango and Timmy saw eachother, the way they ran to one another, encasing eachother in a tight warm embrace. That railroad tunnel engulfed in the sound of “My Rancher!”s, “OhMyGosh!”es, and Horn toots. Tangos blue hair popped and crackled, one could mistake him for a blue sparkler.

Even after the tearful reunion and everything had settled, even after Tango realized Timmys change in form, he respected Timmy like he always had back when Timmy was a canary back in Double Life.

Timmy, who was the law of the Empires, was keen on following the law and punishing those who broke it, one of those laws being no one was allowed to wear eachothers hats.

Even after reading out the law which directly stated that Tango, who was wearing a witches hat gifted to him by Shelby the Witch after he complimented how he loved her hat, was breaking the law. Instead of telling him to take it off, Timmy dismissed it, letting Tango keep the hat.

Timmy was so excited to see his Rancher that he built a ranch for Tango to stay at if he chose to stay in Tumble Town, but when he unveiled it to Tango, Tango broke the news that he had already made plans to help in Gobland, with Timmys ex Deputy.

Then there was Scar, who shortly after joining, became the deputy of Tumble Town. Unlike Tango who completely dismissed Timmys new toy form, Scar was different.

He did respect Timmy, but he also said about how being compared to Woody wasnt a bad thing, that his toy body didnt define him, that he was still highly respected.

Although Timmy would still retort whenever he was called a toy, it seemed spoken in a less upset manner, almost as if it was a force of habit.

He could only imagine how relieving it was to Timmy to have not one but two people who truly respected him and didnt boil him down to his size.

Grian alone was content with the Rift being closed, but Grian could empathize.

He and Scar were good friends, thats why he saved his best pranks for Scar. he couldn’t imagine how lonely he would be if Scar wasn't there.

Grian huffed to himself, he couldn't see any possible reason why he didn't try to reopen the Rift sooner, well, minus the fact he didn't know how it opened in the first place. But he couldn’t do it alone, who in the world would be stupid enough to help me?

Ooooo this is such a cool idea! I'm gonna put my thoughts under the cut because there's... a lot. It's half thoughts, half a mini-fic, haha.

Warning for vague overstimulation and anxiety attack!

Etho's had his single-player world now for ten years. His achievements and inventions often precede the player behind them. He... didn't really know what to expect upon joining hermitcraft. He probably wouldn't have joined if he didn't already have friends there who understood him. That didn't make it any less terrifying when he joined for the first time.

But, if the hermits are anything, it's accommodating.

Etho communicates in a few ways. He had to learn to adapt quickly, going from not needing to talk, to being around so many people. Most commonly, he uses the text to speech on his communicator. It takes a little while to type in what he wants to say, and it works best when he's one to one with someone. The hermits quickly learn to slow down and give him time to type. Sure, the back and forth isn't the fastest, but Etho can get a few good quips in. He'd argue the robotic voice makes it better.

He also learns sign. He's pretty fluent in it. If he wants to learn something, he puts his mind to it, and that's exactly what he did. Late nights studying, watching videos until he can replicate the signs himself. It's not perfect, he doesn't know other sign users to get feedback from, but it works for his purposes.

Xisuma finds it a little frustrating at first. Not Etho's fault, no! Just, his helmet has an automatic translator, and he didn't realise its limitations when it came to nonverbal languages until now. So, he sets upon learning sign himself. He fits in sessions when he has free time, and asked Etho to send him the courses he used, just to make sure he's learning the right stuff. He takes his duties as an admin very seriously, and that means being able to help all the hermits. Plus, he just wants Etho to feel comfortable around him. He never wants him to be in a position where he feels like he can't ask for help.

The members of the NHO vary in their skill. Doc is determined, and absolutely doesn't overwork himself trying to learn a full language in a week (he fails, and gets dragged to bed.) Beef isn't the strongest, but he's got fingerspelling down and Etho can generally get what he means across. Bdubs struggles, but he does his best. It often becomes a game of charades between the two of them and Etho finds himself laughing at his antics, shoulders shaking and head ducked.

Tango also learns sign once they start spending more time together. Communication is his thing, and he doesn't want one of his friends to feel like they can't talk to him! It's not easy for him to learn, but he perseveres. He adapts in other ways too, avoids complicated questions, gives Etho time to type. It's what helps Etho feel comfortable enough to tackle the minigame district with him.

This doesn't mean accidents don't happen.

Getting involved in the mycelium resistance was a big step for Etho. He hadn't talked much with Grian, and he was nervous. Grian was loud, and energetic, at least, that's how he seemed from the outside. Instead, Grian was pretty chilled out. They figure things out easily, and he falls into messaging Etho back and forth, even when they're sat next to each other (it often amuses Etho when people do that.)

But, then the emergency meetings happen. It's disorientating being suddenly teleported, even if he designed the system. It's okay the first few times. He barely managed when HEP broke in, trying to deal with the explosions, the shouting, feeling like his breath is caught in his throat. Placing the mycelium with the others afterwards is fairly relaxing, though. Helps him calm down.

The jail is a different matter.

People are shouting around him, there's lava falling from the ceiling, they're all trapped in a small space. Scar is monologuing, and he doesn't have time to speak whilst being surrounded by everyone else. Doc is looking away, so he can't sign to him. He's afraid of taking his communicator out, that the lava will drop whilst he's typing. The other members' attempts at escape fail, and he doesn't want to ruin the plotline. He panics. Presses into the corner and covers his ears, squeezing his eyes shut.

He doesn't realise the world around him has gone quiet. Not until there's the lightest tap of cold metal on his hand. Etho flinches before he recognises Doc's touch. Raising his head slightly, he realises the room is empty now. Doc is crouching in front of him.

"Etho," and his voice is soft, rumbles in Etho's chest. It doesn't hurt his ears, even if Etho doesn't remove his hands. "Are you with me?" Etho sticks to nodding. The effort it would take to uncurl feels monumental. "Good, good, is this alright for you?" Etho blinks as he looks at the rest of the room. It's not too loud. It's not too bright. It's only them. He nods again. "Alright. Do you want to stay here until you feel a bit better? Or go back to your base? One or two." Etho has to think about it, but the thought of moving sends a spike of fear through his chest. He taps a one onto his own skin.

Doc nods, sitting fully on the ground. There's no pressure. The two sit in the quiet, with only dripping echoing through the room. Etho eventually moves from holding his ears to holding his knees. He rests his head there as his breathing evens out. He feels exhausted. It takes some effort, but he holds a hand up with two fingers.

"Alright, man, let's get you home." Etho nods, accepting Doc's hand when it's offered to him. He squeezes it in a silent thanks. Some of the lingering stress falls from his shoulders when Doc squeezes back.

When it comes up, nobody pressures him. They discuss it in their weekly meeting, finding ways to make sure Etho has a voice even in chaotic discussions. They put together a sheet of essential signs and gestures for all the hermits to learn. And Etho thinks about how lucky he got to find himself a family like this.

Been thinking alot about a coffee shop/flower shop au for gridoc and I'd like to thank @hermitshipcraft for enabling me on the disc server lol and giving me ideas ily

Basically Doc works at a flower shop called 77s Florists and Grian works at SaharaCafe next door.

They share this back garden space where customers of the cafe can sit and smell and the flowers and buy them from the florists, or anyone from the florists can buy themselves a coffee.

And Grian works as a waiter and decided that the best way to serve hit coffee and tea is on roller skates.

He has gotten better but that's how the two met.

Grian struggling to keep his balance and ends up spilling coffee on Doc.

It's a real meet cute

Doc being a creeper didnt really care much but having his uniform and the flowers he was holding soaked wasnt better.

It happened a few times again, each time Doc being the recipient or the things hes been holding.

Grian had to work a few days instead of Doc in favour for when he especially destroyed something.

Doc was obvs annoyed, and complained to the SaharaCafe but Iskall and Mumbo would just shrug off his complaints, cant fire Grian if hes an owner. It's an independent cafe.

Though after a few weeks Doc got much more mellow, and instead annoyed he found it cute even. Probably because no more flowers were being destroyed or prosthetics ruined.

It was a pattern, Doc most of the time caught Grian before anything happened- hearing the skates behind him he jsut insticly would catch him.

No one tell him but after a while Grian got better but he still 'accidentally' tripped on Doc once in a while so he could catch him.

After hours, the two could be seen talking over tea and leftover cake sat on the ground between the flowers. Talking mostly about their days and things that made them laugh

Doc tends to put a vase on the countertop at the cafe side, where he remembers Grian likes to lean against when things are slow- he just thought he could admire some pretty flowers as he waits, and maybe Doc could have an excuse to look over that way if caught. Just looking at the flowers.

Grian knows how Doc likes his coffee alongside the chocolate square he tends to order, so Doc would sometimes find a cup of coffee and the sweet in his workspace- and when looking over at the cafe see a Grian quickly looking away when seen.

Although he did notice that each time the name on the coffee cup is some kind of joke, going from "Doctor Doctor 77" to "Cod" to "Lizard Guy" or even "Dic" he doesnt appreciate the last one but it does make him laugh.

And its jsut all so slowburn cause all their flirting is so subtle that everyone around hates this.

They finally get a clue when Scar starts working temporarily with Doc. And it's just, "So what are you two doing for valentines?" And so much awkward sputtering with Scar just smiling as if he knows something they dont with a "Oh, you just seemed so much like a couple"

Doc asks Grian out, well. Also did Grian? It's weird and both of them say its the other because Doc is the one who invited him out for dinner but Grian is the one that asked to be togethere.

Red throat

Part 2 of the redstone update shebang. May I remind you I don't ship things in hermitcraft.

That's what the message read as. Many hermits ignored it as another random death. Some looked and didn't care and others...... were gleeful in it. One section of revenge was dealt, but it was not gonna be over for a long time after.

However we already know who responded with great concern for when the blazes of brown and grey soared over the ocean in the futuristic district, things would only go down.

As Scar landed at the entrance to Grians base, he watch Iskall walk away from a broken glass tank that stained red only for any red blood to disperse and vanish with no trace. All the evidence that remained was the leaking glass wall which was slowly flooding the floor.

Scar quickly pulled out his bow and a few tipped arrows. Don't ask why he has them you KNOW why he has them. After 3 shots fired, the 2nd missing, a new message was read.

Scar left on a happy note with only an arrow in his knee (No more adventureing gor you Mr good times). As he flew past the shopping district, he saw a message pop up.

<Grian> Thanks Scar.

Knowing he was back was easeful even though he knew Iskall would return.

He headed to his pirate island and towards the centre piece of the island being the volcano and took a seat on the artificial glass smoke he built. Sure the trees and boardwalks were easier to blend with for scar but he loved the view.

It was peaceful and calm and, despite the dark nature of the island, it was pure tranquillity. Scar closed his eyes taking in the peace. Yeah he hated fighting and Killing Iskall wasn't easy. However he was one for guarding his friends. Same as anyone. Iskall deserved it and Scar used that excuse to ease him but any kill he claimed didn't help him. He leaned forward and let out an exasperated sigh.

Right as a trident hit where his head just was. He heard it return and grabbed it stopping it and throwing it aside. He saw a flash of green and grey hinted red and white fly up from a palm tree. Scar took off on the harsh breeze and tried to glide out of the pursuers sight. Through the caves, around the spiers, under the bridges, between the tight casumns and even trying a trick shot with his portal going through the mist but not into the nether and tricking him.

And yet this game was no good because even with the trick, he ended up being caught after ramming into a tree while trying to contact Grian for help. Should of learnt from the rainbow and witch incident with Sahara now.

The pursuer, which turned out to be Doc, harshly grabbed Scar by his already bruised neck and pushed him up on the tree feet still on the floor but nearly off. Doc had rage on him. Iskall must of told him at a bad time and decided to take it out on Scar. The grip wasnt too tight but he could feel his hand close.

"D-doc! What... are.... you doing?!" He managed to get out between gasps for air feeling the grip tighten. Doc Knew he had breathing problems so that's probably why he chose to do this. To drag out the pain much easier. He said nothing. He just continued closing his hand tightly suffocating the tarraformer. The red eye glowed brighter in anger and satisfaction finally lifting Scar from his feet ready to hear the sweet crack of his neck.

... SNAP!

Blood stopped running through the body of the broken neck of deaths victim as a sword swung over his stomach for good measure. It was quite gruesome to see Doc fall back loosening his grip and laying on the ground with a broken neck seing as its partly robotic and now having a gash that didnt bleed out. Yeah surprise! It wasn't Scar who got killed. He was on the floor clutching his chest, coughing and trying to breath properly and a Cub stood there with his newly blood stained sword and a look of worry. Dropping the sword he knelt down and helped his best friend regain his breath. Doc was good at death chokes but had sworn against using them on Scar. Then again with all the redstone in the air, he wouldnt put it passed him.

Small red particles soon started filling the floor and a message came through on scars communicator.

<Grian> Scar! Can you come over?! It's happening again!

'What did he mean?' Cub thought until he saw Scar coughing up heavy amounts of redstone dust mixed with saliva and blood.

Shoot.

Their red throat is relapsing.

Now I decided to name the whole coughing up Redstone dust thing "red throat" as the over exposure to it gets it into the lungs, irritates the skin and eventually when its coughed up over a span of 3 to 7 days, the throat remains red from irritation and left over dust. The relaps will then come in about 2 to 4 days after the initial dust is coughed up and only lasts a day, but can be triggered earlier by the choking the victim of red throat. That's my head canon anyway.

And lastly, @mine-sara-sp here is your free ticket to this part of the story. Yeah I dont think Grian would be the only one affected by the high amounts of redstone. Scar seemed perfect to put in this aswell because he's a high skill builder to who would likely help Grian. #ConcorpAndSaharaUnite

Their first kiss is grian thinking "ah fuck it" and grabbing docs lab coat and smashing their lips together and then Doc staring at him for a solid 2 minutes in a :0 and turning redder and redder by the second.

They're relationship is chill(for then atleast) because all of their own personal adventures the reasons for their scars are over. nothing bad will happen if they get togethere nor anything will happen if they dont. It's on their own pace and they can lay down togethere and be close yet so far and there isnt no rush to learn about eachothers secrets.

Also they sing together sometimes esp if they are togethere working on something and ome absentmidnly starts humming a tune and the other will start singing the words and the next u know grian and Doc are either singing a duet (terribly half of the time they dont know the words or are laughing through it) or having a singing battle (which also is terrible and might lead to another server war)
