a/n: here you go! thank you so much for requesting and I might’ve went a bit overboard with this,,,

pairing: lee haechan/lee donghyuck x gender neautral reader

genre: best friend to lovers!au, college!au, fluff, slight angst, haechan lowkey being a jerk, slow burnish?

summary: haechan misunderstood the situation thinking you had found a boyfriend and allows jealousy to take over and it is up to you, to slap— well, more like kiss him back into reality.

Haechan stared at the red iPhone in front of him. Well, more like he was glaring at the device. The reason was because he sent a text to his dear best friend, L/N Y/N, asking to meet up at the cafe because he was bored and he wanted to spend time with you.

He sent that text a few hours ago. 8 hours ago to be more precise, his brain taunted.

Sighing, he stood and paced around the room as endless scenarios ran through his head. Usually you would’ve answered his text within seconds after he sent it, the latest you ever took was 20 minutes! And that was because you were in a replacement class! Haechan knew your schedule like the back of his hand, of course he knew when you were free to text. And this was one of the moments, so where the hell was you?

Maybe you had a replacement class you forgot to mention. Haechan scratched their side of his head as he tried to remember if you had any classes cancelled in the past week. You didn’t. What if you were kidnapped?! His eyes widened at the thought. Oh no, should he make a police report? But you have to be missing for 24 hours before you’re “officially” a missing person and it’s only been 8 hours and 47 minutes... (Technically 8 hours felt like 8 years in Haechan’s book.)

Before he could think of even worse situations, Haechan’s phone rang out loud and the boy quickly dived to answer it. He groaned in disappointment once he read the contact name. It wasn’t you, just stupid Mark Lee. He swiped the accept button and raised the phone to his ear. “What?!” He asked annoyed.

“Woah, someone woke up on the wrong side of bed today,” Mark said on the other line.

“Hahaha, very funny Minhyung. What do you want?” Haechan replied with a sarcastic laugh.

“Jesus, I was going to ask if you want to go to the arcade today. Renjun said he’s going to beat your high score at Super Mario,” Mark explained.

At mention Renjun, Haechan could hear his voice yelling, “Be there or be square!” in the background.

Haechan swiped out of the call app and into his texts, his message was still on delivered. At least it was better than being left on read, right? But there was also a 80% chance of you being missing.

“Hello? Dude, you there?” Mark’s voice drew Haechan out his thoughts. Haechan shook his head, maybe the arcade would be a good distraction.

“Yeah, I’m in.”

The arcade was not a good distraction.

“Bro, are you okay?” Mark asked as he slung his arm over the younger one. “Renjun beat you in Super Mario. I repeat, you—“ he jabbed his finger at Haechan’s shoulder “—lost to Renjun!”

Renjun, who was sitting across from Mark, kicked his shin under the table. The older hissed in pain as he grabbed his leg. Mark glared at the boy in front of him, who’s now indulging himself in a conversation with Jeno, pretending like he didn’t stab Mark on the shin with the back of his heel.

Haechan mindlessly stirred his soda with the plastic straw, the whole time his mind was occupied with you, you and you. He made a mental note to blame you the next time he sees you. It’s stupid Y/N’s fault that he lost to Renjun in Super Mario! Ugh, now he has to play the damn game again just to get back his rightful place at the top of the leaderboard.

He looked at his phone the nth time since he entered the arcade. His lockscreen was empty from any notifications. No new messages or any missed calls. His wallpaper was a picture of him and you, who was on his back. It was a candid picture (courtesy of Jaemin) and the two of you were caught in the middle of laughing. He loves the picture, but right now it’s becoming a reminder that you have yet to reply to his message. It’s officially been 12 hours since his text. 12 hours and still nothing.

Suddenly, his ears perked up at the sound of someone’s laughter. Not just anyone, he knew whose laugh was that. It was yours. There’s no doubt that it was your laugh, he’s heard it his entire life. (And it’s also his favorite sound but he’d rather die than admit that.) Haechan sat up straighter and craned his neck, his eyes scanning the area for a certain person.

And there you were, standing in all your glory. His eyes lit up once he found you, but they immediately darkened in the next second. You weren't alone, beside you was another boy. A boy that he did not recognize. He saw you open your mouth to say something which resulted in the boy to ruffle your hair and sling his arm around your neck. The two walk past their table from the mini cafeteria and into the arcade. You didn’t even notice him.

Haechan’s fist tightened around the head of the chair as he watched you and the boy laugh together. Who the fuck was he and why the fuck was he with you? Mark seemed to notice where Haechan was staring and spoke up.

“Oh hey, isn’t that Y/N? HEY Y—MMPH!” Haechan swiftly moved to slap his hand over Mark’s mouth. He waited till you and the mystery boy disappeared into the aisle of arcade machines and finally slumped back into his seat.

“What the fuck was that for?!” Mark demanded and glared at the boy beside him.

Haechan rolled his eyes at the older and slumped back deeper into his seat, a pout on his lips. Mark paid no mind to him and just ruled it as one of his moments. While the other boys were laughing at Jeno choking on a french fry, a thousand thoughts were running through Haechan’s mind. The main one was who was the guy with you?

You couldn’t possibly have a boyfriend, right? No, you wouldn’t. You would’ve told him. That’s what best friends do, right? But that’s what he’s always going to be to you.

The best friend. He hates it.

Something’s wrong with Haechan. You’re sure of it. You stared at your phone in your hand as you reread his reply over and over again.

Haechan [8:33am]: hey you wanna go to the cafe for breakfast??

Haechan [8:35am]: hello???

Haechan [8:35am]: y/nnnnn

Haechan [8:36am]: don’t ignore meee :((

You [9:42pm]: omg im so so sorry

You [9:42pm]: im sorry hyuck i was at a family reunion :(((

You [9:43pm]: we can go to the cafe tomorrow if you’re still up for it!

Haechan [9:45pm]: i have plans tomorrow. maybe next time.

You [9:46pm]: alright..

First of all, Haechan would’ve popped off at you for replying to his texts so late and for ignoring him the whole day unintentionally. And secondly, he would’ve sent multiple texts at once, all caps and fighting emojis. Not just “i have plans tomorrow. maybe next time.”

“Who are you and what did you do to my best friend,” you mumbled to yourself. You sighed to yourself and placed your phone back on your desk. Maybe he’s really mad at you for ignoring him the whole day. In your defense, you were showing your cousin around town! You hadn’t checked your phone the entire day.

‘I should probably get him coffee as an apology tomorrow,’ you thought to yourself as you got ready for bed. Yeah, coffee sounds like a good plan.

You were wrong. It was not a good plan. It all started the next morning when you sent a good morning text to Haechan. He didn’t reply to you. You found it weird but you brushed it off. Maybe he was rushing off to school. He had a habit of waking up late anyways.

But the moment you saw him at campus, he immediately took off without giving you a chance to call out for him. Even weirder. Every corner you turn, there he is laughing with someone else but the moment you take your eyes off him for a second, he’s gone. You furrowed your eyebrows as you watched Haechan trying to subtly walk away from you. He can’t really be that mad at you, right?

It has been 4 days since you last saw Haechan and it basically confirmed your suspicions. He was avoiding you. But the question was why?

You tried to remember if you did anything to piss him off the past week but your brain gave you nothing. You tried asking his friends but they shrugged as they didn’t know the reason as well. You finally decide that you had enough of it and go to confront him.

So that’s how you ended up in front of Haechan’s apartment door. You rang the doorbell and waited, rocking back and forth on your heels. You heard shuffling coming from behind the door and it opened to reveal a just-woken-up-from-a-nap Haechan.

You smiled at him once he opened the door but Haechan’s eyes widened and he slammed the door shut. You blinked. What just happened? Regaining from the shock of his actions, you wasted no time and bent down to get the spare key under the welcome mat.

You quickly opened the door to his apartment and stepped in, ready to give Haechan a piece of your mind for his stupid antics. Haechan shrieked when he saw you came in.

You glared at him and jut her finger at him accusingly. “You’ve been avoiding me,” you said.

Haechan gulped and played it off. “No, I have not,” he said through gritted teeth and walked past you to the kitchen.

“Yes, yes you have! I texted you and you didn’t even reply back for days, Haechan,” you said, following him into the kitchen.

“Taste of your own medicine, then,” he mumbled under his breath. But it was loud enough for you to pick it up.

You raised a brow and scoffed. “Is this because I didn’t answer your texts the other day?”

Haechan turned his head to the side, not wanting to make eye contact. His lack of response told you that it was a yes.

“Haechan, you can’t be serious. I told you I was at a family reunion!”

You stared at him with your doe eyes widened. “Boyfriend? I don’t have a boyfriend, what are you talking about?”

“Are you sure you weren’t out with your boyfriend,” he blurted out. Haechan slapped his hand over his mouth, that wasn’t supposed to be said out loud.

“I saw you with another guy at the arcade that day,” he blurted out once again. He winced once those words left his mouth. Dang it Haechan, couldn’t he keep his mouth shut just this once?

You blinked for a few seconds before realization finally settled in. You couldn’t help but laugh at his accusation, causing Haechan to glare at you. “You mean Jongho? He’s my cousin,” you told him after you stopped laughing.

Oh.

Your cousin. The word echoed in his head. The "boyfriend" was just your cousin.

“Besides,” you added, leaning against the counter, “why would you care if I got a boyfriend anyway? What, do you like me or something?”

Haechan visibly stiffened at the last sentence. Oh boy, he hopes you didn’t notice him freeze. But of course you noticed it, you noticed every detail of him.

“Wait, do you actually like me?” You asked. You were internally panicking. Holy shit, does he like you? It’s too good to be true, right?

“Yeah,” he said quietly after a few seconds of silence. He was looking down at his feet. “Is that a bad thing?” He whispered, finally lifting his head up to meet your gaze.

‘Of course it isn't, because I like you too,’ you wanted to tell him. You had liked him the moment he introduced himself as your neighbour when they were 6 years old. But the way he flirts around other girls always gave you the thought that he didn’t feel the same.

You stayed silent too long for Haechan’s liking. ‘Oh no, they’re going to reject me,’ he thought. Before you could even open his mouth, he quickly added on, “It’s okay if you don’t like me though! I totally get it.”

“Haechan—“

“No, no it’s okay, Y/N. I understand. You don’t like me, I mean of course you wouldn’t. You probably see me as a brother and nothing more. So let’s just forget this ever happened and—“

He was too busy rambling to notice that you were advancing towards him. You got on your tiptoes and gave him a peck on his lips. Haechan immediately shut up, and froze on the spot. It was merely a peck but it was more than enough to make him stop working. His cheeks were now red at the sudden contact. You had an amused smile in your lips.

“D-Does this mean you like me too?” He stuttered out.

Instead of saying anything, you nodded and wrapped your hands around his neck, bringing him down for another kiss, this time it was longer. Haechan smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around your waist.

When you pulled away, you whispered, “I like you too, idiot.”

“Wait, so Jongho is that cousin who could break apples with his hand? While singing?!” Haechan repeated what you told him. You were now sitting on his lap, your back against his chest, his arms around you.

“Uh huh, he even broke a watermelon with his finger once,” you added. “And he’s like an older brother to me, so if you ever break my heart...”

Haechan visibly shuddered at the thought of Jongho breaking his neck. He hugged you tighter and buried his head into your neck, causing you to let out a laugh.

you don’t get a win unless you’re playing the game: Daveed Diggs x Reader. Chapter 2.

Reminder: this is gonna be a long fic! please be patient :)

You are finally ending an excruciating first week of dance rehearsals.

You’re gearing up finishing Act I finally, your brain feeling completely fried from all of the material given, especially the vocal parts. You were so used to singing the melody line of all the songs and being given the alto part was a challenge in itself, let alone applying singing while doing the choreography. The dancing was second nature but you didn’t realize how much stamina you’d actually need to getting the notes out without sounding breathy, pitchy or exhausted. You did NOT want to embarrass yourself in front of the OBC when it came time to integrate.

You had only worked with the ensemble closely so far and were getting close with Stephanie, the universal dance captain of the show. She had mentioned to you that the principals and ensemble members would be having a little hang out session at her brother’s penthouse apartment downtown after rehearsals ended tonight.

“Brilliant work today everyone. I know it’s been tough. But take the weekend to really review the material and let everything sink in.” Stephanie’s eyes were lit up. The way she was so attentive to detail and every backstory of every movement was so inspiring and eye opening.

You wiped the sweat off of your face as you partner, aka M3, aka George Eaker, aka Cedric, gave you a wink and a thumbs up. You were way too lucky to be matched with Cedric. If you jumped across the stage, somehow you’d trust him to catch you with seconds to spare before landing.

The ensemble cheered together and began to pan out to the house to grab their things and head up to their dressing rooms to get ready for the party.

“Is everyone coming tonight?” Stephanie yelled excitedly.

You heard a cannon of yeses and hell yeahs around the group.

“The wolfpack’s coming too!” That was her nickname for the OBC crew. “It’s gonna be a raaaaaager!” She started gyrating her hips. Everyone erupted with laughter.

“A safe one at that, of course. Be on your best behavior around Lin… just kidding he’s an absolute child.

Alright now go, get out. Go get hot.”

You followed the ensemble up the stairs backstage to end up at your dressing room which you shared with W4, Michelle.

“Girl... what’re ya wearing tonight? I can’t decide.” Michelle asked while anxiously rummaging through her back full of scribbled on legal pads, muscle rollers, and random items of clothing.

You had packed your favorite black jeans that made your legs look flawless, your signature suede boots, and a Kith hoodie. You wanted to look put together but also casual and cool. Most importantly, you wanted to impress all of your idols. This was your only chance to give them the best first impression of you.

You thought about grabbing your Oakland sweatshirt that your parents got you as a gag gift for Christmas, in honor of your celebrity crush’s hometown. You immediately regretted even thinking of wearing it, as Daveed would definitely find it way too weird. You were from Massachusetts... not California. The Bay Area would be embarrassed for you.

“I just brought these little guys. All black, of course. Feel like it does the job. Also, the sweatshirt will let me eat alllllll of the pizza guilt free.”

Michelle stared longingly at your suede boots. “These are fuckin fancy!”

“They’re only Steve Madden!!” You were proud of your ability to find luxury looking goods for a cheap price. You don’t think that will ever change, even when you saw your first broadway check hit your checking account.

You were happy you could share a safe and fun dressing room space with Michelle and knew the two of you would become close friends.

You both ran into the shower room across the hallway, and quickly washed off. You decided you were going to straighten your long light brown hair. You loved your hair, but it got so curly and tangled when you sweat. Thankfully they were going to put you in a wig for the show instead of using your natural locks. Being a head sweat-er was the worst. Your makeup was minimal, as you looked best with a nice dewy makeup glow, with highlighted cheekbones. You wore a nude matte lipstick, which matched the natural color of your lips, and lightly liquid lined a cat eye over your big (insert eye color) eyes.

You saw your reflection. You didn’t know if it was the confidence of finally reaching your goal or if you just were having a good hair/makeup day... but you were stunning.

“Damn mama!” Michelle gasped as she saw your finished look. “Whose mans are you about to steal at this gig? Better not be Cedric, he’s mine.”

You laughed. You couldn’t help to think about who you already had your heart set on.

“Definitely not Cedric.”

Michelle opened her iPhone 11 plus and immediately opted for a mirror selfie. She quickly opened Instagram and posted it to her story.

You opened the app yourself to go check if it looked good.

“Ready?” Michelle asked, putting the final touches of her gold Fenty highlight on her cheeks. “We should grab a quick bite before hitting the place. I plan on drinking my weight in Truly seltzers tonight.”

“Let’s get it.” You smiled. “I’ll call the uber.”

You called the uber, hopped in, and began driving downtown. You felt your anxiety creeping up on you.

“Trulys? Really? I’m gonna need to be doing shots of Jager in order to be able to speak a single word to any of these principals.”

“What are you... nervous? You already got the role. You’re equals with these guys.”

She wasn’t wrong.

“Guess I’ll just have to act as chill as possible. That’s the plan anyways... also Michelle, wanna know something ridiculous?”

“What?”

“I’ve had a middle school full fledged crush on Daveed since I can remember.”

She blurted out with laughter.

“Well girl he is on the market now. Shoot ya shot.”

You already knew this. Daveed was recently single and focusing on rebuilding himself up. His breakup with his last girlfriend wasn’t bad. It was mature and mutual. You knew he was taking time to himself, so you didn’t want to be overbearingly flirtatious when you first met him.

You also couldn’t stop thinking about your ex, whom you left last year around this time. His goals just weren’t lining up with your future. He hated musicals, he hated almost everything you liked... but you couldn’t stand the fact you shattered his heart.

“I’ll see what happens... after 5 shots.” You responded, winking at Michelle.

You arrived at the cutest little Italian place downtown in TriBeCa. You knew carbs and wine were the perfect pregame for this shindig.

After loads of pasta and splitting a bottle of wine, you began to feel the confidence needed to shake the nerves from you. You hit the bathroom to give yourself a double check before walking to your final destination.

As you walked up to the massive high rise residence, you couldn’t believe this was your lifestyle now. As you approached, you noticed an extremely familiar face exit the revolving door.

Holy shit, that’s Rafa.

Rafael Casal. Daveed Diggs’ best friend.

You stopped in your tracks stunned.

He turned his head immediately in your and Michelle’s direction.

“Y/N?! What’s going on?!”

“Shut up shut up shut up...” you whispered through your teeth. “Just keep walking.”

As he passed you both, he smiled, and turned into the Duane Reade on the corner. Probably picking up something he forgot.

You realized you would be on edge all night not being able to keep your cool. Rafa wasn’t even in the damn OBC and here you were, freaking out entirely on the freaking sidewalk.

Through the doors you went, passing the crystal clear marble floors, giant chandeliers, and up to the doorman.

“Can I help you beautiful ladies?”

Michelle blushed. The doorman was actually attractive.

“We’re here for Klemons? Penthouse 2?”

“Oh yeah! Hamilton!!! Love that show. Have fun!”

You hit the elevator as you looked down at your phone.

9:18pm

Perfect timing. Almost 20 mins late. Fashionably late, of course.

“Oh shit shit shit.”

You realized you haven’t changed your wallpaper from Daveed grabbing his crotch.

Michelle laughed as you fumbled to change your wallpaper to a pic of you and your family from when you were younger. Perfect. A conversation starter. Your overthinking was killing you softly.

Your teeth were legit chattering. You felt anxiety waves rush through your nervous system. The pit in your stomach grew. Your heart was beating a mile a minute. This was it. Your chance at something greater than you ever thought was possible to achieve.

The elevator doors opened to the open concept apartment. Voices were clashing over the blaring hip hop music in the dimly lit room. A full bar in the corner, Joe’s pizza scattered over the island in the kitchen. Beer pong set up on the dining room table.

There they were. Every single one of em. Scattered across the flat. Starstruck wasn’t even the beginning of what you felt.

Your eyes scanned quickly around.

There he was. Curly headed locks and all. Leaning up against the floor to ceiling windows that circled the place, holding a cocktail in his strong, large right hand accessorized with a few rings. Simply staring at the sights of the city. He looked like a million bucks and he was in a simple casual outfit. Light washed jeans, black boots, with his left hand in his black hoodie pocket.

Wait. You guys were wearing the same hoodie.

The same fucking hoodie.

Of course this would happen.

⌚️ Setting the face designs up on your Apple Watch

Follow the links below to the team face designs you want to get your hands on.

Use whatever method works for you to get those designs into "Photos" on your paired iPhone.

Open the "Watch" app on your iPhone.

Tap on the "Face Gallery" tab at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down and select the "Photos" face option.

Select "Photos" as the content type.

Select the team face designs from those you saved to your iPhone and "Add" them.

Make sure that you have the "Time Position" set to "Bottom".

Select the "Complications" that you want accompanying the time on your custom team face.

Scroll back up to the top of the screen and tap the "ADD" button to add your new team watch face to "My Faces".

...and you're all done! Every time you raise your wrist or tap on your watch face now, you'll see a different design for your NHL team!

If you're a business person, it can be extremely beneficial for you to have an iPhone for work. Not only will you be able to call and text your colleagues from anywhere, but you can also send emails, visit work sites, and access important data from anywhere at any time.

When you are typing a text message on the iPhone, you can select the whole body of text by holding down your finger on the sentence for approximately three seconds and clicking select all. This will give you the ability to delete or copy the whole set of text that you have selected.

A good tip if you own an iPhone is to take advantage of any free apps you can. You don't have to pay an arm and a leg to have some cool apps on your phone. There are many that you can download for free just make sure you check the reviews first.

If you are like most iPhone owners, you love taking photos with the device. However, would you like to have the option to preview the picture you just took? You can by following this simple procedure. After you take the photo, start on the left of the screen and drag your finger to the right. This will show you a preview of the last picture you took.

Chapter 4

Morning took its sweet time coming, though Ginny supposed her inability to sleep had much to do with it. Her mind was running a mile a minute, speeding through scenarios and potential questions she'd be expected to provide answers for, imagining what would happen if Dutch didn't care for whatever first impression she made. How many members were there? What kind of people would she be living with? And for how long?

She desperately wanted to believe that Arthur was right, that they were mostly good people. She hoped she could fit in, but knew from her experience in this small town so far that she was likely going to be fighting an uphill battle on that front. She tried to talk like the people around her, careful to avoid phrases and words that might be ahead of this time. Despite the clothing she wore, she knew she didn't look like she belonged. Would this problem improve or worsen in a camp setting? Would there be a hierarchy that she'd need to follow? Would she get special treatment, and consequently would she gain enemies from being brought in by Dutch's supposed right-hand man?

How long would she have to pretend to be someone that she wasn't?

She'd packed as soon as she had returned to her room, and then thought perhaps the backpack would look too odd. Would anyone question it? Could she just pass it off as being a common item from back home? It was all that she had, however, and so she left her few items and clothes packed into it – modern clothes and broken iPhone carefully tucked beneath everything else at the very bottom of the bag – and thanked whatever chaotic forces got her into this mess that it was a simple and worn LL Bean canvas bag and not a bright patterned bag with fancy pockets and velcro.

She kept the journal and map out for most of the night, studying both of them by candlelight until she was sure she'd memorized every punctuation mark and crossroad. When she grew bored of that, she stood and paced back and forth across the room, practicing what she might say when Arthur introduced her to Dutch. Then, she figured it would do no good overthinking conversations that haven't even happened yet, so she packed her journal and map into the bag and set everything on the floor next to the bed so she could attempt to get some sleep.

She ended up laying awake for over an hour, unable to keep her eyes closed for more than thirty seconds at a time, despite knowing the exhaustion she would feel the following day. She could not get her mind to stop racing, and so she shot up out of bed, lit the candle at her bedside again, and brought it over to the small mirror by her dresser. She brushed her hair methodically, focusing all of her attention on styling it just so, in the hopes that at least this aspect of her would look the part. It was difficult to gather all of her long hair up, but with the help of a dark hair elastic that she'd had on her since before she woke up in this century, she made it work. It blended just fine into her hair, and she figured no one would ever notice it anyway. She'd gotten a little better at achieving the simple pinned up-do that many young women of the time favored, especially after watching Anne style her own hair a few times.

At this point, she had exhausted any ideas to pass the time, so she spent a long while just staring out the window to watch the sky gradually lighten from a deep black to a dark blue, the stars gradually starting to wink out.

He'd said bright and early, she thought to herself, seeing the sky shifting to lighter and lighter hues as the sun prepared to rise over the horizon. How early is 'bright and early?' And how bright does it have to be?

She started pacing again, hearing the sounds of the town beginning to wake up as roosters crowed and dogs barked. She heard Anne start moving around next door, drawers opening and closing and water being splashed into a basin so she could wash up. Ginny followed suit, deciding washing her face and neck was probably not a bad idea, and at least kept her from staring out the window again. Anne left her room and began walking down the hallway, on her way to begin the day's chores. Ginny almost felt badly for leaving the entirety of the inn to her once again, but she also knew that this was nothing new to her, and chose not to give into the guilt of adding to the other woman's workload.

She heard Mr. French speaking distantly, probably to Anne as she passed the front desk. More time passed, and Ginny took to pacing again.

The sky lightened to a soft pink and threw her room into color, almost making it pleasant. As the light sharpened, however, it only served to highlight the sparse furnishings and dull colors of the wallpaper and furniture. She paused at Mr. French's raised voice coming from downstairs. He sounded alarmed, but she couldn't make out what he was saying. In all reality, he could have just seen one of the few rats that had made their home in the walls downstairs. She smiled at the thought, and then she heard slow, heavy footsteps coming up the stairwell and then down the hallway.

“All right, all right, calm down!” a deep voice called, and instantly she recognized it as belonging to Arthur. She hoisted her bag onto her shoulders and moved to blow out her candle, adrenaline and nerves making her tremble a little. A knock sounded on her door, and she rushed to open it, finding him standing awkwardly in the hallway. “'Mornin' to ya,” he said, mouth quirking up in a half-smile. “Hope I'm not here too early.”

She grinned. “You did say 'bright and early.'”

He ducked his head and smirked, his face hidden briefly under the brim of his hat. “That I did. C'mon, let's go.”

She adjusted her backpack and followed him down the hall to the stairs, shaking a little as the reality and weight of her decision to jump into an unknown setting with a man she barely knew finally hit her full-force. She hesitated at the top of the stairs, and Arthur stopped a few steps down, sensing that she'd paused. His blue eyes analyzed her, noting how she held one strap of her bag in a white-knuckle grip and was grasping the wooden handrail as if her life depended on it.

“You alright?” he asked moving up a step to stand at almost eye level with her.

Her eyes scanned his face, shifting back and forth as she struggled to gain control of her nerves. “My mom always told me to be careful about who I choose to trust.”

He nodded. “She sounds like a wise woman.”

She bit at the inside of her lip, and then finally asked, “Can I trust you, Arthur Morgan?”

He didn't answer immediately, but she could tell it wasn't because he was avoiding the question. He seemed to be choosing his words carefully, so she waited.

“I'm not a good man, Miss Sinclair. I've done a lot of bad things, and I'll probably do more before my time is done. But you can trust me to look out for you.”

They stood there for a long moment, reading one another as she digested his words and matched them up against his actions. Her trembling gradually stopped, and she slowly released her death-grip on her bag and the railing. “I'm choosing to trust you,” she said, and her expression and tone were both grave. He nodded wordlessly, and turned to walk down the stairs again.

This time, she followed without hesitation.

Not As It Seems | Finn Balor {Apocalypse AU}

✧ Featuring: OC’s a lot of unnamed OC’s

✧ Summary: you save Finn from a zombie attack.

✧ WARNINGS: fluff, angst, blood, death, zombies, zombie-related themes, swearing, idk, other things I failed to mention, Finn crying, the reader is kind of a cold stone bitch tbh, so is Rhys, gore, reader might be a Winchester, stealing stuff, everyone is pretty much an asshole in this fic, I don’t even know what this is lol.

✧ A/N: This fic is for @moxleysbaby Alternative Universe Writing Challenge, honestly this is the first time I have done a writing challenge on Tumblr. Hope you like it. Also, y/n/n= your nickname.

The sound of the car tyres on the gravel road came to a complete stop. The engine cut off, three doors opening, three people hopping out of the car, then closing the doors.

The guy let out a grunt of annoyance, clearly not happy about being out in an abandoned town on the weekend.

“Come on babe, it will be fun.” A feminine voice spoke, grabbing his hand and intertwining their fingers together, as they walked into the abandoned town, looking at the buildings, while their friend took pictures of all the buildings.

“Yeah, Finn, it will be fun.” Another female voice spoke, looking up from her camera to look at him, Finn poked his tongue out at her, making her do the same action.

“Cause, visiting an abandoned town, on a Saturday afternoon was totally on my to-do list.” The guy called Finn grumbled, as they walked further into the town, their friend continued to take photos of the abandoned buildings.

“I could be doing other things on a Saturday afternoon.” Finn whined, his gaze drifting to his girlfriend, she turned her head to look at him, making Finn send her a wink, which made her blush, she then let out a giggle, clutching his hand tighter, while swinging their hands back and forth. Their friend that was ahead of them let out an annoyed sigh, while she rolled her eyes.

“Ew.” She whined, turning around to see the couple staring at each other. They both let out a chuckle at their friends’ reaction. She turned her head back in front of her, rolling her eyes once more as Finn and his girlfriend continued to stare at each other.

Finn leaned his head down towards her, pressing a tender kiss on her cheek, which made her giggle. Finn smiled at her as he pulled away, gripping her hand tighter, he pulled it up to his mouth, pressing a soft tender kiss on the back of her hand, which made her heart swell.

“While you two are being all lovey-dovey I’m going to go explore this apartment.” Their friend spoke, turning back to look at them, then looking at the apartment.

Just as she was about to enter the apartment her friend spoke, making her stop halfway through the doorway, turning around to face them.

“Wait, we’ll come with you.” her friend spoke, making Finn let out an annoyed huff.

“As long as I don’t have to witness you’s two making out with each other or finding a room and getting it on.” She spoke, making her friends chuckle.

“Don’t be so dramatic, we aren’t going to ditch you to get it on, we are just going to explore the apartment with you.” Her friend spoke, while Finn frowned, he really didn’t want to explore any of the buildings here, he just wanted to go home.

“Good, let’s go.” She responded, walking into the apartment entrance.

Finn and his girlfriend followed their friend, walking into the apartment entrance holding each other’s hands. The apartment smelled musty, the wallpaper on the wall peeling off.

The three of them walked up the stairs until they reached the first floor, all the doors to the rooms where all opened, some items where scattered on the ground.

“Looks like they all left in a hurry.” Finn spoke.

“I wonder what happened to this town.” Finn’s girlfriend spoke, as she let go of Finn's hand, wondering further down the hallway slowly looking into the rooms as she walked past the open doors, looking into the unoccupied rooms in amazement. Which made Finn pout at the loss of contact.

“Maybe, the town had to be evacuated, they ran out of resources, nuclear power plant explosion.” Their friend spoke.

“Wouldn’t we have seen the nuclear power plant when we drove in?” Finn asked, still standing in the same spot, leaving him alone in the hallway by his lonesome self.

His friend shrugged her shoulders, going into a room, he heard the shutter of the camera.

“Natural or manmade disasters kept happening, maybe that’s another reason this town is a ghost town.” Their friend spoke, as the sound of the camera shutter continued.

Finn let out an annoyed huff, going into the first apartment room, standing in the middle of the room. His eyes scanned the room, the room was small, the kitchen was small, the kitchen counters were only on one wall, there were two doors to his left side, probably bedrooms he thought to himself. The place was a mess, the circular table was flipped over. Cutlery, newspapers and magazines, as well as books and DVDs, and other things lay scattered on the floor, the place looked like it had been robbed.

Finn took a step to the closed door, his hand wrapping around the doorknob, turning the knob, the door opened with a loud creak, making Finn cringe, the room was dark and smelled like dust and mould, Finn’s hand slipped away from the doorknob, his hand slipped into his back pocket grabbing his iPhone and slipping it out of the pocket, he quickly pressed the home button, making the screen light up, his fingertips moved up on the bottom of the screen, making some application apps show up, Finn’s finger pressed the torch application. Smiling to himself, as the led light lit up the dark room.

Finn took a step into the room, it was a kid’s room, to be more specific it was a six-year-old boy’s room.

Finn's eyes scanned the room, his phone moving around the room. His eyes landed on a box of Legos, making his eyes lit up with excitement. He quickly walked over to it, opening it up, his hands getting covered with dust, not that he cared about that, he sat on the dirty carpet floor, putting his phone down beside him making sure the light coming from the phone faced upwards, his hands grabbed some Lego pieces out of the box, and put them onto his lap.

He was so caught up in playing with Legos that he didn’t notice a presence behind him, that presences being his girlfriend, she rolled her eyes at him, of course, he would have to find Legos and play with them, he’d probably take them back with him, when they leave.

She walked over to him resting her hand on his shoulder and crouching down beside him, which made him jump, he turned his head to face her, his eyes widened like a deer caught in the headlights, before his facial features softened, as he saw his girlfriend beside him, smiling softly at him.

“We are going to explore the next floor, did you want to come with or are you quite content with playing with Legos?” she asked, her thumbing rubbing his shoulder softly.

“Nah, I’m pretty content staying here, and playing with the Legos.” He replied, looking back at the Lego pieces he put together.

“Okay, we will come and get you when we are finished.” She responded, leaning close to him, and pressing a tender kiss against his cheek, pulling away from him and standing back up and walking out of the room, joining her friend who was waiting outside for her.

“Is he coming?” her friend asked her.

“Nah, he's pretty content on playing with the Legos he found.” She responded.

Her friend rolled her eyes.

“Of course, he had to find Legos, he is such a dork.” her friend grumbled.

“True but my dork, come on let's go up, we will have to take the stairs though, you know since the elevator doesn’t work.” She spoke.

“Ugh, stairs.” Her friend whined as they started to walk towards the stairs that led up to the next floor.

“Don’t be such a wuss, its only stairs.” She chuckled, then laughed at her friend, when they both started to ascend the stairs, all the while her friend whining with every step she took…

Rhys walked cautiously towards the ghost town, while you followed close behind him, keeping a lookout for any walkers, your shotgun held up in front of you, your finger hovering over the trigger ready to press down on it, if you saw one of those meat puppets.

The two of you’s stopped when you’s reached the car, Rhys turned his head to look at you, raising his eyebrow at you.

“So, the kid was right.” Rhys spoke, while you just shrugged your shoulders. He then turned his attention back to the black SUV.

“Fucking tourist.” Rhys muttered under his breath. He leaned his face to the car window, peering into it.

“Let’s just raid the car, get the things we need and go back to the bunker.” He spoke, opening the passenger side door, and opening his backup up, he started to put items in his backup.

Just as you were about to reply and open the back door to the passenger side, you and Rhys heard a blood-curdling scream, then another one following after it. Your hand slipped from the door handle, just as you passed Rhys, he grabbed your forearm, spinning you around to face him. He gave you a stern look before speaking.

“Y/n.” Rhys warned, giving a look that said leave it alone.

“I can't just let it slide Rhys, just keep watch and I’ll handle it.” You grumbled, giving him a stern look.

“Fine, but if you don’t come back in four to five minutes, I’m coming in, I don’t care about keeping watch for those meat puppets, I’m not going to risk your life for their life, you mean a lot more to me than they do.” Rhys spoke, making the stern expression you gave him drop, you looked at him with a sad smile, before responding.

“I know, I promise I will be back in five minutes and if not, you can come in.” you spoke, Rhys gave you a smile, though you could tell it was fake, you knew he couldn’t care less about those tourists.

Rhys let go of your forearm, then avoided all eye contact with you, clearly pissed you were going in there alone.

You let out a sigh, giving him one last reassuring smile, before walking towards the apartment building, your shotgun in front of you.

you quickly entered the apartment building, hearing muffled crying and feet shuffling on the floor above you. You gripped the handle of the shotgun tightly, as you walked to the stairs. Slowly but cautiously ascending the stairs to the first floor, the shotgun aimed in front of you, just as you took a step forward, you heard a spitty hiss than an annoying moan, from above you. Your eyes narrowed as you walked rather quickly towards the stairs that lead to the second floor, you ascended the stairs rather quickly.

You glared at the zombie in front of, slamming its decaying body against a closed door, all the while moaning and hissing. God, you hated zombies.

“Hey, lame brains.” You shouted, making the zombie stop slamming its decaying body against the door, it turned its decaying head towards you, making you cringe at the sight of it before it could even turn its body fully around to face you or even shuffle towards you at a snail's pace, you lifted the shotgun up in front of you aiming the barrel of the gun at its forehead, then pulled the trigger, the zombie crashed to the floor as blood poured out of the wound.

“Sucker.” You smirked, you lowered your gun with a satisfied smile on your face. But it suddenly dropped into a frown when you heard muffled sobs and whimpering. You rolled your eyes, god people could be so dumb sometimes.

You took small steps towards the closed door, knocking on it softly.

“It’s okay, you can come out now, I killed the meat puppet.” You spoke.

You heard the lock unclicking, then the sound of the door creaking as it slowly opened, you came face to face with a guy with blue eyes.

“Were any of you scratched or bitten?” you asked them dryly, eyeing them suspiciously, your eyes caught sight of a scratch mark on one of the girls and a bite mark on the other, you could already tell by the pale look on there faces that the virus was taking effect, you had to take action before it was too late.

Without hesitation, you raised your shotgun in front of you aiming at the girl with the bite mark, before pulling the trigger, the bullet went straight into her forehead, making her head slump, she fell, her blood spluttered straight onto the girl next to her, making the girl let out a shriek, honestly the shriek gave you a god damn headache.

The guy looked utterly shocked but came to his senses when he saw you raise the gun at the other girl.

He quickly stood in front of the barrel, making you glare at him

“Don’t try to be the hero moron, her fate was sealed the moment she got scratched, she’s turning into them now, so might as well put her out of her misery.” You growled.

“I don’t care, I love her, and I will not let you shoot her, you already killed my friend, if you want to kill her then you will have to go through me.” He threatened.

“That can be arranged.” You responded coldly.

You aimed the shotgun towards his kneecap, pulling the trigger, the guy let out a groan of pain, doubling over and clutching his blown knee cap. You, on the other hand, weren’t fazed at all, your attention was on the girl who was pleading and begging for mercy, you raised the gun towards her head and pulled the trigger, making the girl let out a choked gasp as the bullet hit.

Finn noticed this and quickly tackled you to the ground, with all the strength he could muster up, he pinned your hands above your head, straddling your waist, as you wiggled underneath him, his eyes burned with hatred as he looked down at you, his mouth set into a thin line, while he clenched his jaw.

You stopped moving underneath him, smirking up at him, which made him even angrier.

“Do it, kill me, I dare you to, it might bring you satisfaction watching the person that killed your lover die, but it’s definitely not going to bring her back, I did you a favour, watching the ones you love get shot is much easier than watching them turn into those meat puppets.” You growled, narrowing your eyes at him, almost challenging him.

He let go of your hands and wrapped his hands around your throat, choking you to the point where he cut off oxygen, making you choke, your hands gripped his wrist trying to pry him off of you.

“You did me a favour?” he snapped.

“You killed my girlfriend and best friend, right in front of me, you’re a god, damn sociopath.” He growled, tightening his grip around your neck, making you gasp.

You couldn’t really answer him back, or insult him, but you were fading quickly, your lungs burned from the lack of air you were receiving, black spots started to appear across your vision, your eyes watering, your body went limp. Your eyes fluttering closed, before you could even pass out, you felt his grip on your neck being released.

You opened your eyes, gasping for air, then coughing. You looked up to see Rhys pinning the guy to the wall, one of his hands gripped the guy's throat, while he gave him a murderous look. If looks alone could kill, then that guy who choked you would be dead.

“Listening here, you fuckin’ douchebag, if you ever fucking put your hands around my girl's throat again, I’ll torture you in ways you’ve never imagined.” Rhys spat out. His hand tightened around the guy's neck, making the guy choke.

You let out a huff, getting up slowly and picking your shotgun up then walking towards him. You put your hand on Rhys' shoulder, rubbing it softly. Rhys turned his head back towards you, his gaze softening as he looked at you.

“Let’s get out of here, he can go back home, and we can go back to our hideout before more of those meat puppets come.” You spoke with a raspy voice.

Rhys thought about it for a second, his eyebrows furrowed slightly, but then his expression started to change once he looked at the guy, he was strangling, his facial expression turned into anger again. Making you slightly panic.

“He hurt you.” He growled through gritted teeth, tightening his grip. You could tell the guy was slowly slipping into unconscious.

“Rhys.” You pleaded, but he wasn’t listening, all his attention was on the guy he was strangling the living daylights out of.

“Please, I want to go back to the bunker, I don’t want to stick around here and wait for more zombies to come and trust me there will be more of those meat puppets.” You pleaded again, making Rhys stop.

He let out a sigh, before slowly releasing his grip on the dudes’ neck, making the guy drop to the floor, grasping his neck and coughing.

“If I ever see you again, I will put a bullet in that pretty little head of yours, you understand me.” Rhys threatened, making the guy nodded his head frantically, Rhys gave him one last murderous look, before turning around towards you, his eyes scanning the marks on your neck, he gave you a pained look, but then it turned into a look of rage, whilst his fingertips touched the marks. You could tell he was thinking about hurting that guy again.

“Let’s go.” You sighed before he could even think about turning back around, and hurting that guy again, your hand wrapped around Rhys wrist, pulling him out of the room and down the stairs, then down the other stairs then exiting the apartment.

Your eyes widen as you heard that annoying moan and shuffling of feet. You turned your head to the direction of the sound, letting out a curse as you saw a herd of them making there way over to the guy's car, now he couldn’t go back at all, and you knew for sure he couldn’t defend himself from a herd of zombies, so he definitely had to come back to the bunker with Rhys and you.

“Let’s go.” Rhys spoke, noticing the herd of zombies as well, his hand holding yours while he intertwined his fingers with yours, you dug your feet into the ground when he tried to flee with you, making him turn around towards you giving you a questioning look.

“Wait, we can’t just leave him inside, he can’t defend for himself, heck he couldn’t even defend himself, his girlfriend and friend from one of them, what makes you think he is going to survive a herd of them.” You spoke, making Rhys give you a ‘are you serious’ look.

“So, I don’t care about him, he literally tried to kill you about five minutes ago, and you want to save his ass?” Rhys shouted, staring at you like you have grown two heads.

“And failed, the idiot can’t even strangle a person right, I bet he would have let go once my eyes closed.” You responded.

“Don’t bet on your life y/n.” Rhys scolded you, slightly looking behind you, then looking back at you.

He let out a scoff, letting go of your hand, then ran his hand through his hair.

“Fine, I’ll go get him, stay here.” He huffed, turning back around and walking into the apartment, but stopped at the doorway when he saw the guy he was meant to get, walking slowly down the stairs.

Rhys rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed he had to save this wankers ass.

“I’m sorry about this, well not really, it’s just easier if you aren’t struggling.” Rhys spoke, walking up to the guy and slamming his head rather forcefully against the stair rail. Finn quickly blacked out, making Rhys smile.

Rhys picked the guys body up, slugging it across his shoulder and walking out of the apartment, he took ahold of your hand and pulled you away from the oncoming herd of zombies.

The two of you ran into the forest, dodging tree branches as you’s both ran faster, the two of you’s only slowed down once you’s reached the familiar sight of the bunker. The two of you’s made a beeline to it, opening the door and going inside.

Rhys shot you look of annoyance.

“You better hope he doesn’t put any of the other people here at risk, cause if he does, no matter what you try to say to change my mind on killing him it won’t work.” Rhys growled, walking down the stairs and leaving you all alone at the top of them.

You let out a sigh, running your fingers through your hair.

“What if I made a mistake bringing that dude here, I mean he did try to kill me, though it’s understandable I did kill his best friend and girlfriend, still what if he strangles the other people in the bunker, I mean grief does change people.” You thought to yourself.

“I have to put him in check.” you muttered to yourself, you quickly walked down the stairs, the shotgun still gripped tightly in your left hand. You grabbed the first person you come across.

“Do you know where Rhys went with that guy?” you asked the woman, the woman only gave you a confused stare, having no clue what you were talking about.

“The dungeon.” A young boy spoke, making you let go of the woman to turn to the young boy, you gave him a thankful smile.

“Thank you.” You spoke, making the young boy smile. Before you could turn around you felt hands wrap around your leg. You looked down to see the young boy holding onto your leg, looking up at you with scared eyes.

“Y/n/n, is the guy that Rhys took to the dungeon a bad guy?” he asked you, as your fingers ran through his hair trying to soothe him.

“I don’t know, I hope not, but if he is, I promise I won’t let him hurt or and anybody here.” You answered the young boy smiled up at you, happy with your answer. He hugged your leg before letting go and running off.

You let out a sigh, before quickly rushing off towards the dungeon, you opened the door to see Rhys towering above the guy. He was tied up to a chair his head slumped downwards.

You walked over towards the table, that held the weapons. You gently put the shotgun on the table picking up the revolver, staring at it intently.

“I got this, Rhys, I’ll threaten him, and if he retaliates or hurts anyone else in this bunker or even betrays me, then I’ll kill him, with no hesitation.” You spoke.

Rhys turned his head to look at you. Your back was faced towards him, as you continued to look at the revolver. Rhys rolled his eyes at you, not that you could see it.

“What if, he just lies and agrees then when you undo the ropes, he attacks you and kills you.” Rhys grumbled.

“He won’t if he's smart then he will choose to be in my good books.” You replied dryly.

“He tried to kill you, y/n, he strangled you, he had his hands wrapped tightly around your throat, he was choking the living daylights out of you, and you want him to agree to be in your good books. Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds, did you lose brain cells while being choked? He should be dead, heck we should have left him in that god damn apartment, or you should have put a god damn bullet in his headfirst, then killed those bitches that were with him, not bring him here-” Rhys ranted.

“Besides…. They all show mercy when you play Russian roulette with them.” You smirked, interrupting Rhys from his tirade, you grabbed a bullet for the revolver, you finally turned to face him, Rhys angry expression dropped into a smug look.

“Fine, but I’m waiting by the door inside this room, I don’t trust him, if he is capable of strangling you then he is capable of much worse.” Rhys huffed, while you continued to smirk.

“Oh, he won’t ever cross me again.” You smirked, smiling at him.

Just as Rhys was about to respond, a loud gasp cut him off, your head, as well as Rhys, turned towards the guy that was slowly lifting his head up, letting out small whimpers and coughs.

He tried to move, but he couldn’t he was restrained, his eyes widen, as he looked down, noticing ropes wrapped around him, his head snapped up to see you and Rhys, he glared at the both of you’s, but his eyes caught sight on what was in your hands, a revolver. His heart quickened, but a glare remained on his face still, he couldn’t show you’s two any sort of fear, though on the inside he was scared shitless.

“I’m going to give you one warning boy, and you better be wise and show mercy.” You spoke, still standing next to the table.

“You killed my girlfriend and best friend, and you want me to show mercy, go to hell.” He spat out, making you chuckle darkly. Finn gulped, as you took a step forward.

“Figured you’d say that, so let’s play a little game.” You taunted, as you stood in front of him. Finn looked up at you, slightly trembling as he looked into your eyes, they looked dead, void of emotion.

You let out a hum as you looked down at the revolver, putting one bullet into the chamber then, clicking it back in, you spun the cylinder, all the while smirking while doing it.

He gulped when he felt the barrel of the gun being pressed to his forehead, he closed his eyes tightly waiting for the bullet to enter his skull, but nothing came, only a click.

You let out a tsk sound, before pulling the trigger again, and getting the same response, this only made you smirk. Finn shook in fear, his heart thumped harder against his ribcage, his whole body trembled, while he started to regret ever coming to this ghost town, he started to regret his actions of strangling you.

“You’ll be amazed by how many people show mercy when their life is about to end.” You chuckled, pulling the trigger again, only to hear a click.

“They beg for mercy, they plead for you to spare their miserable life, they even cry, or they give up information, it’s quite pathetic really.” You ranted, pulling the trigger again, making Finn sob, tears fell from his eyes, but he didn’t plead for mercy, which only added more fuel to the fire.

“You know boy, I didn’t feel an ounce of regret for shooting your best friend and girlfriend, though I do regret not killing you, maybe I should have let Rhys kill you, you’re lucky I had sympathy for you and took you in, I should have left you there, but I didn’t because I’m not that evil, but yet I have this nagging feeling that you are you going to kill me in this bunker all because I killed your girlfriend and best friend, cause they got bitten and scratched.” Continuing your rant, pulling the trigger again, but no bullet came out.

“It’s not my fault you three stumbled across this town, heck I don’t blame you for exploring it, the government hide this from everyone, so well, taking us off the maps, avoiding the problem, but the fact that you strangled me really pisses me off, if I didn’t kill them, then they would have killed you in an instant, they don’t remember their lives before they turned into zombies, so you could try to reassure them, talk them out of it, but they cant register a word you are saying, all they care about is eating you alive.” You hummed, smirking at the cylinder as you noticed that it was finally on the bullet.

“So, moron, since you aren’t going to show me any mercy, might as well just end your life quickly, you’ll be with your girlfriend and best friend in no time, and I’ll be still killing zombies.” You concluded, just as your finger touched the trigger, He spoke up.

“M-mercy, I show mercy, I yield, I-I’m s-sorry, I regret strangling you, I’m sorry please don’t hurt me, please, I won't ever hurt you again, please, I won't kill you, please, j-just spare my life.” He pleaded, his voice shuttering.

You let out a content hum, lowering the gun to your side, you lowered your head down towards his ear, making him whimper.

“If you ever betray me or retaliate, I will put a bullet in that pretty little head of yours or feed you to those meat puppets.” You hissed, pulling away from him, you gave him one last cold glare before you turned around, walking towards the table, where you got the revolver from you put it down, and turned back around towards him, a smirk graced your face, making him tremble even more.

“Rhys here will show you to the kitchen, you must be pretty hungry and thirsty after all that chaos.” You spoke, you turned around to Rhys, then turned back to the guy again, he honestly looked like he was about to pass out.

“Oh, I forget to ask, what was your name again?” you asked, titling your head to the side and waiting for his response.

“F-Finn.” He gasped out, avoiding eye contact with you.

“Well Finn, you are in safe hands now, though you will have to start training, Rhys can help you with that.” You replied, turning back around and walking towards the door, as you passed Rhys you gave him smug look, silently telling him ‘told you he would show mercy’. Rhys just rolled his eyes, as you walked out the door.

Rhys turned his attention to this Finn guy, glaring at him, but Finn avoided all eye contact with him.

Rhys took slow intimidating steps towards Finn until he reached him, he gripped Finn’s throat tightly, making Finn gasp for air, tears falling from his eyes even more.

“Listen here you ungrateful little shit, if you ever, ever, you hear me, hurt my girl or even think of hurting her, or betray her, I’ll make your life so miserable you’ll want to end your own life.” Rhys growled.

“I, s-said m-mercy.” Finn choked out, as best as he could.

“Actions speak louder than words, buddy, and if all your words where lies, then I will gladly kill you, your life means nothing to me.” He hissed, squeezing Finn’s neck a little tighter.

“I-I w-wont h-hurt h-her, I-I p-promise.” Finn choked out.

“Good, now let’s get you something to eat.” Rhys grumbled, letting go of Finn’s neck, Rhys took out his pocketknife, opening it up in front of Finn, all the while smiling down at him. Finn gulped while trying to breath normal again.

Rhys cut the ropes, once he finished cutting all of the ropes, he then put his pocket knife back in his back pocket, gripping Finn’s shoulder roughly and pulling him up, Rhys pushed Finn in front of him, making Finn stumble a bit before he gained his balance, Finn turned his head to the side to see Rhys giving Finn an annoyed look.

“Let’s go.” Rhys grumbled, pushing Finn out of the room.

He should have stayed home, he should have tried harder to try to persuade his girlfriend and bestie to stay home, he should have explored the second floor with them, he should have been the one scratched or bitten by that zombie, he should have never strangled you, well he should have just put a bullet in your skull, but still, then he would have regretted it you were only doing what you were used to, but that still didn’t make him forgive you, you shot them without hesitation, if he would have run away then he would have never be stuck here with a couple who were sociopaths, in the middle of nowhere. Why isn’t the government helping them? Do they know there are people still human in this town, that they need their help?”

He had to get out of this bunker, he had to get away from you and Rhys, so if that meant faking an alliance and faking being nice to you’s two then so be it, he still didn’t regret strangling you, you did kill his girlfriend and best friend, and for that, he would never forgive you, so if playing you and Rhys for fools was his only way out of this bunker then he would play you’s two for fools...

iOS 14 - Features, Expectations & Everything In Between!

iOS 14 - Overview

Hello, techies! We're basically two months away from looking at the first developer beta of iOS 14 and watchOS 7. As its approaching very quickly, leaks and renders concerning the software are being uploaded on the internet on a daily basis. Some of these leaks reveal information about a new Clips feature. This feature allows you to use the app whilst it's fully downloaded in the background which is similar to Sony's PS4. In addition to this, iOS 14 will feature new dynamic still wallpapers, which is something amazing and every iPhone user wants that, and for the first time ever, home screen widgets, all of which are hinting at a possible redesign of the iOS.

iOS 14 - Revolutionizing Features?

Clips Feature

The clips feature was actually leaked on Twitter and 9to5mac stated it as well. For those of you who don't understand what is, on iOS 13 and iOS 12 once you download an app you won't be able to access it until it was downloaded completely. In iOs 14, with the clips feature you won't have to wait for the whole app to be downloaded. Instead, you can use it whilst it is being downloaded in the background. However, this does not mean that you will be able to access all the features that the app provides; rather only some until it is completely downloaded. New Wallpapers

IOS 14 will also introduce new wallpapers. In iOS 12 and iOS 13, we saw minimal changes in terms of the apps. This already demands for a change in the wallpapers. All of this provides reason to think that additional wallpapers will be added. Similarly, it is expected that third-party apps will probably be allowed to add their wallpapers. This is especially great news for iPhone users as it will give them greater variety. Looking at the previous versions of the iOS, none of this existed which presents Apple with more reasons to go forward with it soon. User-Friendly Layout

The next big thing about iOS 14 is its layout. The app layout itself is expected to be much different. Widgets are expected to accompany the home screen maximizing user experience. As opposed to the previous versions, where you had to move apps from one location to another or to place them in a single folder, now you will be able to have widgets alongside thus making it more customizable and a lot more user-friendly experience. However, it is not something new: Android already had it for a pretty long time. Although, it's something that Apple hasn't made the transition to and they should make it as soon as possible. We want all of you guys to take these leaks into possible consideration. Albeit, with a pinch of salt, not everything will be accurate but considering the launch is going to happen within just two months' time, these leaks are starting to seem real. Kerbal Space Program 1.7: “Room to Maneuver” is now available!

Hello everyone!

A new technology has arrived to the KSC and with it, Kerbals will only get more Room to Maneuver! We’re excited to release, Kerbal Space Program 1.7: Room to Maneuver, our newest content-filled update that will give players new features and wide variety of improvements to help Kerbals explore farther than ever before!

This update includes two new useful navigation upgrades, the revamp of all of the small maneuvering motors, including new variants for the Twitch, Ant and Spider, as well as a brand new galaxy texture map to have our astronauts mesmerized by the beauty of the celestial vault. A great deal of bug fixes have also been packed into this update, not two mention a new 3.75 meter nose cone and a 5m one for those extra-large fuel tanks in the Making History Expansion!

Let’s go through some of this update’s highlights:

Maneuver Mode

Probably the most impactful feature within this update, the Maneuver Mode is a new navigation tool that gives you access to useful orbital information in both Flight and Map mode that will also allow you to precisely and easily adjust maneuvers nodes, all to help you fine tune your interplanetary transfers.

Altimeter mode toggle

A long-requested quality-of-life feature that will allow you to toggle the altitude mode from Above Sea Level (ASL) to Above Ground Level (AGL) by simply clicking on the new icon to the altimeter. Hopefully this will improve the KSC’s survival rates…

Part revamps

This time around, small maneuvering engines were the focus of our revamping efforts. The Ant, Twitch, Puff, Place-Anywhere 7, RV-105 Thruster Block, and Vernor Engines now look better than ever, plus the Twitch, Ant and Spider include new stunning variants. On top of that, we’ve added new tuning values on some of those engines.

Galaxy Texture Map Update

The game’s galaxy cubemap has been updated in Room to Maneuver. This environment map has been carefully crafted to reflect a nicer color palette and more defined celestial objects. With double the resolution, it will be impossible not to enjoy the view while exploring Kerbin’s star system.

Scrollable PAW

Another small quality-of-life feature we’re adding to the game is the addition of a scrollbar to the Part-Action-Window. This will keep the PAW within the bounds of the screen when they get too big, something that might come in handy for players who use mods and fill those up

Kerbal Space Program 1.7: Room to Maneuver is now available on Steam and will soon be available on GOG and other third-party resellers. You will also be able to download it from the KSP Store if you already own the game.
