KAVEH was kind, perhaps too much. He treats you so good, even when he doesn’t have enough. That was simply his character, always asking if you’re okay, if you want this or do that. For you, he was simply an angel who fell on earth. A beautiful person who longed to play and create, art and festive.

And perhaps that too was a facade. You find him once crying over a box of toys, and there you cried with him too. It was not important as to why he cried but making him happy, for his joy was one that made the vines grow in the old trees and the one that even rain could never cover. He told you what happened, his past, his “sins” and there you never realized what he was going through.

But that doesn’t mean you can be here for him from now. Kaveh, who blamed everything on himself, could never really grasp how understanding you are. Listening to his words, crying his tears—like that of a little boy finding his peace. That he never found, now as a tall child searching for answers. But still apologizing when he answers. How can he deserve to be loved without hurt. To confess his crimes and be rewarded with a bouquet of flowers.

He longed to be loved, but now he believes that for someone to hold him tight this lonely night, his chest no longer felt so heavy. His heart no longer felt so tight. As now, it is whole for you.

i like to hc that saikis shapeshifting is limited in that he can't actually choose what he looks like... he just picks a category and becomes what he would look like as that thing..

AND OKAY i know that this. just straight up is not true. there are things in the manga that can disprove this i think.

BUT the manga is also super inconsistent about his powers, and this hc is the best way that i can try and make sense of some of the inconsistencies i care most about...

LIKE his shapeshifting is supposed to take two whole hours. but in the halloween chapter, he randomly shapeshifts into a monster to scare kaido... this both disproves my hc (kinda?) and also proves that it could be true at the same time because it makes an inconsistency with whats supposed to be canon.. so yea, if canon can be slightly inconsistent, i can too! (im not sure what other explanation this could have.. it cant be hypnotization cuz he cant use that on himself..)

and i know that not everything needs to make sense.. this hc still doesnt make it ALL make sense.. and thats fine!! im just gonna see it that way because it helps me picture it better..

but anyway, yeah, the biggest problem i had with the shapeshifting that this hc changes for me is kuriko/kusuko... he complains that people find her attractive.. how does that make sense if he can choose how he looks ?? he knows what average people look like, he could just make her look like girl satou ? plus, he becomes the SAME 'kuriko' every time.. like its literally his girl sona, even though yk damn well she probably has a reputation as the girl who was into dilfs and prob has daddy issues, and was also apparently seen with teruhashi.. (and yea yea whatever this was just for manga purposes, idc)

i also question why he doesnt make HIMSELF look more average, other than hypnotizing the world into thinking pink hair is average, but that can be explained easily by certain things like how it might take effort to remain shapeshifted for long periods of time or its just more physically and emotionally comfortable to be his 'natural' form..

Yeah ignore that this betrayal is what caused the Maiden-made-of-LIGHT to turn her back on the world meanwhile the Lion of the NIGHT came forth with demons (with what the others are compared to btw) to the realm of MEN. Yeah ignore that Dany is also suppose to mirror/parallel the amethyst empress and that fixing the wrongs of her ancestors is also her whole thing. Yeah ignore that the breaker of chains, the Prince that was promised, the one who has an dynasty resting on her back, whose downfall started with the dying of dragons in a war fought over the heir not having a dick, is also a (very) young woman, her womanhood also playing a part in her whole Story. Am i saying Rhaenyra or Dany are the AE reborn? Hell No, and if id bet my money on Dany. But both of them and their conflicts get so extremely paralleled with the Amethyst Empress History that you have to be literacy blind to not see that.

But thats my opinion, you can believe what you want as long as you dont boil hotd down to being the "truth" and ignoring the existing fantasy/magic as well as the world building relevant extreme misogyny.

So we all know that Shouto is pure husband material, the kinda guy you'd be proud to introduce to your parents! But yk all those years of abuse and trauma (our poor bby ;-;) would definitely take a big toll on anyone, right?! So I was reminiscing about the earlier episodes where he is all closed off and cold to everyone, and that really got me thinking... what would dating Shouto REALLY be like.

How much of his behavior in a relationship really be affected by his past? Obviously nobody is perfect and even though our princess man comes close what do you think his shortcomings are as a person/partner? What do you think his toxic traits would be? What could be some of his bad habits? How would he react during an argument? I used to hc that he would be really calm and passive but then I remembered this scene

Ofc us being his partner would change things, but he DOES lash out at times. The police officer hadn't yelled at them, he was just explaining what they did was wrong according to the law (which could be unfair but thats his job) and he straight up called him a slur 💀 (well yk in this society where so many ppl have animal related quirks it probably is a slur? Healing is often a "one step forward and three step back journey" and while I hate to watch him struggle, his perseverance gives me a lot of strength. Also obviously people change over the course of time and character development and all that, but we see even after the MASSIVE amounts of character development Bakugo has he still retains a lot of his previous qualities and obviously still struggles with a few things. Yes!!! I have so many thoughts about this, particularly as someone who also has daddy issues and a hot temper but actively works to be better as well lol.

I do think for the most part we've really seen Shouto move past who he was in those earlier episodes. That is not to say he still doesn't have those feelings, but he arguably manages them in a more regulated way. He has the temper but now he also has the tools and the perspective to better articulate himself.

I think generally Shouto would work hard to be calm and patient during an argument, but as with any human being, mistakes will be made and tempers will spike. I think during particularly bad arguments he'd get more closed off, like in those earlier episodes, would try to go off by himself so that he doesn't explode with that white-hot rage.

I do think, thankfully, that Shouto's ability to show empathy and compassion even in the middle of what we know are the most emotionally trying times of his life (the fights with Dabi), bodes well for his future ability to communicate and regulate himself on the whole. I do not see him as the kind of man who would yell or break things; I see him as the kind of man who now does everything in his power not to be like that.

And also with a face like that, would we not just let him win any argument anyway?? LOL

Orcs are such a fucking waste and also a byproduct of the Tolkenization of dnd. Orcs are - from LOTR - corrupted elves who chose to become servents of Saron's sugar daddy Morgath or whatever the fuck (can't be bothered to look up the asshole's name rn) so the reason they are 'evil' isn't bc they are biologically bad because they are orcs - its because they chose to serve the Big Bad Evil TM. or were tortured? p sure the first ones chose to but not the point

There are So Many cool monsters mentioned in passing in one of the books and the most mudane boring bland ass 'hur dur they evil' tone to all of the descriptions. WHy. You are telling me there is a whole section on orcs that ride flying bats and you made it immediatly unappealing? Your telling me there are badass women who grow out their nails to claws to worship their god and you made them BORING???

The only things i would keep about orcs is their religious fanatisism. I like that about them - i think they deserve a whole well thought out religion, whether it be a highly organized church or a more nebulous worship. A whole pantheon of gods and such. Give it to them. As a treat. Lord knows they need sometjing to validate their holy wars.

Another thing is that it is mentioned that women in their culture are oppressed. Arent you tired of oppressing women WotC? Like - yea okay sure sexism is Yet another thing we should discsluss but why is it the Catholic brand of 'women is object'? If ur gonna fantasy my real life issue, at least consider in the context of the culture Why that is.

Halflings in my lore are sexist towards women, because rhey have a patriarichal monarchy. HOWEVER. It isnt the same as 'women opressed and must obey man'. Female halflings arent so much as oppressed as forgotten. They are a legal loophole - many rights (and offenses) simply doesnt apply to half the populatuon because the inheritance of property is so important to them - ans can only be passed on by men.

Is it good? No. Is it right? No - but thats not the point. No society is "good or bad" inherantly. Its how a society interacts with the morals ans values of another that dictates how it is perceived. So Orcs are likely 'evil' to creatures who dont beleive in their holy violence. But that doesnt mean they eat babies or whatever.

Tldr: orcs are to evil what elves are to good - a rip off and cop out. Use ur brain ans actually tell me sometjint abt them besides rhey kill people and are religious - you just described Paladins and Clerics!!!! And also catholics

Thats it, im ranting about the entire Jest lore!!!!

I am FINALLY going to do this!!! Since Alex covered the general stuff that brought us to where we are now, I figured I could go more into detail about my favorite jester's side of things! Alrighty, so Jest and Order (if you don't know who she is, you can find the info about her at the end of this rant) met after Order was tasked with assinating them for being a part of a large family tree that has history of being very violent and having bloodlust. Order tried to shoot Jest, magically has no ammo in the gun. (plot armor!!?!?!) Jest casually strikes up a conversation with the person who just tried to kill them, breaks their radio resulting in Order not being able to call any backup. I don't correctly remember how, but they live in a house together after that, dont think too deep about it. A very powerful incarned called Animosity proceeds to fuck with them. And by that, I mean killing Order in front of Jest with their bare hands. (I am NOT going over what happened with the love incarnate nope nuh uh uh) and then kills Jest as well. The incarnate of Life comes and scolds Animosity like their a child and grants them immortaily (EXEPT if their killed by someone) as some sort of punishment. Life revives Jest and Order and provides them with their own house. Jest and Order start to reluctantly become work partners at most. Order also separated from the people who made her attempt to assinate Jest. (the justice system) The two do normal missions as usual. Finding a talking catapillar whos just REALLY horny, the catapillar (who is now a full on incarnate named Desire) and Eros (incarnate of lust) "ask" (barge in) to stay with them for a while. The two find an incarnate they met a long time ago (mirror). They ask for their help with finding their boyfriend Echo and Order and Jest accept. After a bit, Order and Jest go to a bar, get really drunk, kiss, stuff like that. Next morning they regret kissing and go back to the quest of finding this dudes boyfriend. It takes them a while and talking to tons of different people to even get a clue about where they are. They go and talk to this group called The Federation about it, get kidnapped. Jest has a crisis while Order attempts to break them out and fails. Guard comes, brings them each to a room to be experimented on. Strange glitch incarnate part of another group called The Rebellion comes and breaks the four out. (they got echo back) Jest and Order go home together. A bit after that, Jest's really bad father breaks into Jest and Order's house and fights Jest (in the middle of the night). Order wakes up to see Jest absolutely beating the shit out of their father and ripping their throat out. (i like giving jest wild animal vibes) Jest and Order sell the body to this snake lady who toatally isnt a ripoff Scythe. (from phighting) They go and get boba after Jest showers. They have a conversation about Jest's daddy issues and some more actually serious stuff. Order tells Jest they havnt figured out how to repay them for all they've done for her and leans closer. Jests idiot little feline brain dosn't realize whats happening, then Order commits the thingy me and Alex waited 2 years to do.

After that Order comtimplates what she just did as Jest tries their best to process what just happened. Order lets Jest attempt to cook as she goes to talk to Mirror and Echo. (who are asking to come and live with the 2 for a bit) Jest sets some food on fire, almost burns the house down. Jests tries to ask Order to date, Order decides they should take some time before dating. Jest tells Order about their mom and Order says they should try to contact her since they have Jests now-dead fathers phone. Their mom comes over and is EXTREMELY exited and just as energetic as their child. Two people who work under an incarnate called Archangel come and asks for Jest's mom for a meeting. Jest and Order come along with her. Jest meets tons of incarnates. More notable are Zeus (who REEKS of old spice), Kronos (the father to almost all of the incarnates in the meeting), and Circe (who just really hates Zeus) After they leave the meeting, they find two incarnates in an alleyway. They take the two into their house and learn that their names are Rein and Amitrian. Order hears them argueing about Amitrian dating a man. Order steps in and forces Rein to apologise, but after Order turns away she slashes across Amitrian's face and leaves the house. Order helps Amitrian clean up their scarred face and their boyfriend Tang comes over. Order says she'll go find Rein and says they might have to fight them. AAAND THATS WHERE WE CURRENTLY ARE OHHH MY GOD I LOVE OC LORE!!! Anyways, Order is an incarnate made by @analexthatexists, go check her out!!! (she has some stuff related to who Order is over there)

mafuyu: my favorite in the whole game. its odd considering that i used to absolutely hate her. i hated her for the same reason that most ppl hate her. i thought that everyone was overreacting to her problems but then i realized i was projecting my own insecurities onto that so i started to love her. ill pull her mothers hair out in clumps

kanade: my second favorite in the whole games. i just relate to mafuyu more. her hair is nice. we both hate going outside ♡︎ idk how shes paying the bills but either way i feel bad for her she lost so many ppl she loves & shes trying to protect someone she loves & i want a friend like her but i dont think itd be healthy but do i care? not really. i love kanade i wanna give her a comfy blanket to sleep with.

pencil didnt texted me these last few days but its okay lol, i saw a post that he made and he wasnt looking that cute so im not worrying too much about it, the topic of today’s post is another one. i went on a party on friday that were full of college boys and i was indeed looking for one for me. ive always had this thing for older boys, and the first thing that may come up to your mind is: daddy issues. i fortunately do not have daddy issues, my relationship with my father is great and i love him so much. the question here is: even girls who have a great relationship with their fathers have a tendency to look for a man that gently looks like her dad? some girls may think this is crazy and would deny it until theyre buried 6ft. anyways, the thing is, i love, completely head over heels, big mom heart a tall and older boy. i cannot describe the feelings of being with a man with a capital letter M. of course there are a lot of mens in this world who can have this two characteristics and not be a full MAN, but we pretend it is not most of the time. when there is a group of boys, i always look for the tall one, and latter i go for looks. i just always look for the tallest one, i cant even hide it anymore. there were times in which i wanted the tallest one and he wasnt even the cutest, but if the cutest is a short king… well ladies i may go with the tallest one. its enough on the relationship that i am the short one, we do not need both of us short, or else were going to end up looking like were dwarfs. the feeling of being with one big ass tall boy and him leaning on to me is just chef kisses, absolute cinema. it also gives a more safe environment vibes dont you agree? i am already way too short so it is not hard to be taller then me, but when i say that i like the tall one i talking about the ones that i have to look up, almost break my neck, to look in their eyes. unfortunately, this weekend i didnt achieve my goal to find me a older, taller, and strong boyfriend. but it was okay, because you know what? i could be there and just stare and a lot of beautiful people, and ladies, thats just a sight for sore eyes. i had a great time tho, it was nice. at the beginning we had some great musics and i could dance feeling the music as i sure love to, with my lovely beer in hands. i may say tho, i almost got together with a french boy but he was already way to tipsy at the beginning, and lets agree that that was a boy, not a man. and to add up, the thing that i love is the whole connection. first i look for my target and observe who hes with and if he has a girl. second i start the good and old eye contact trying to draw his attention but in a slightly way. third, if hes also doing eye contact i try to get closer but no too much, i could try to dance my way closer, or go to the bathroom or something just to give him another clue. fourth if he is really going on my flow i try to get a little away from my friends, because most of mans are a little shy to talk to you when your surrounded with a lot of your friends (but girls keep in mind, dont go too far we dont know his intentions yet so be a little close so your girls can see you but not too close so he can go talk to you). and if im luck enough hell come up to me, well chat a little, dance, drink and have a great time. unfortunately that didnt happened on friday but it is fine girls, our world doesnt revolve around men.

see, the issue doesnt lay on whether the eng translation is discourging it or not as both versions come to the same conclusion: its not incest because the two sombrons are different. Rather, the issue in terms of translation as i understand is that the eng version in its eagerness to over clarify the matter accidentally made it more confusing, thereby doing the opposite of what they intended.

I actually always rather like sombrons cobra design, it helps distinguish him among the villainous dragon designs and i think it suits his character in the manner that he's less about raw powering his way to victory and more prone to subtlety, manipulation and playing it smart [even if he is a powerhouse at the end of the day, and the writing of his plan doesnt always make sense]. in that manner hes a solid combo of medeus and gharnef which makes sense and works in his favour.

as for the other designs, nel and rafal are sombron lite designs that work for what their going for, and well i really wish we got to see more of lumineras dragon design what we do get to see is fairly standard but work well.

tikis is pretty obviously based on her warriors dragon form design but more fa'ish in the sense it looks more chickenish this time. which, i dont mind cause the chicken destroyers of worlds are adorable.

the generic enemy dragons ya come across are fine for what their suppose to be, though it does make me wish we had a manakete unit to play with in the base game. that woulda been cool.

joking aside, i imagine they went with the design less because of the biological nature of a king cobra and more so because of its cultural and symbolic significance. namely hypnotism which sombron uses rather prominently in the plot and which cobras are often connected with due to portrayals of snake charming. aside from that its also a very distinctive snake with its frill thing and a poisonous one.

idk anon, kaga if anything set the precedents for skirting around incest implications but in a very obvious way in fe that the series has dutifully followed to this day. deirdre and arvis are if anything more of an outlier being a very direct case of incest.

but speaking of fe4, i seriously doubt it'd get slapped with an m rating. putting aside the incest, well its a dark game its not any more explicit then any other fe in terms of content, and taking the incest into consideration even thats not particularly explicit in its depiction. it undeniably happens, but even then its a while into the game before its clarified that it did indeed occur and its treated with a tragic gravitas as opposed to being hyper sexualized.

You certainly can't win if ya go about things the way treehouse does. I dont doubt there would be discourse over these things mind, but ever since treehouse got involved in fe translations these matters have been particularly egregious. so i dont largely blame the fandom outside the bad actors.

i suppose it depends what happens with the manga adaptation, where it goes and what it might alter to fit its format. its possible we'll see them, but in a completely different context for instance.

I agree the internal story logic is confused anon, but i would note that a story need not necessarily be logical to work if the emotional appeal is there.

and in that regard fell xenologue is a mixed bag, admittedly in part because its internal consistency is kinda muddled. fighting the mirror royals, seeing and engaging with their personalities, the atmosphere, even the intellectual implications of the twist all work i would say [atleast for me they do]

but how we get to this points is underwritten, the twist doesnt quite work in implication because of the questions it rises, and the actual heart of the story going on there with nel and nil and rafal feels somewhat disconnected from its world and sloppily handled.

i would have been fine with a delay on the dlc if it gave em time to hammer out the finer details of the xenologue, but as it is... mixed bag.
