I’m really sad they cut quite a few things like songs etc I wonder if Ryan will ever release them and bloopers I wish someone asked him in interviews/ podcast
There's so much unreleased Glee stuff sitting in a Fox vault somewhere. Well, not physically sitting, though some of it must be. I was listening to Seasons of Love s3 version the other day and thinking about this. Insane. I wish the fully recorded songs all got released one day, like come the fuck on. We have fully recorded songs of Naya just sitting on some hard drive do they not know how infuriating that is. Other cast members too of course but for understandable reasons I'm most concerned about never released Santana songs. I'm aware of three tracks she supposedly features on. And bloopers too, though iirc RM has said before he doesn't do bloopers on his shows.

Idk what any other Klainer thinks, but we know RM and if he’s doing a reboot then he’s going to throw shit at Klaine.
Especially if one (Darren) agrees to do it. I’m hoping that Darren cared enough about Blaine and Klaine not to agree to do any reboot if Chris is not involved as well. I’d be so disappointed if he signed up to a divorced Klaine plot or worse.
And I can’t see other such as Jenna or Kevin being happy with Klaine and Rachel being leads again, because they will want a reboot for their screen time, not others.
You guys - honestly, I get the fear, I do -- this is what it was like when the show was on. But I really don't think we need to catastrophize when things are just being kicked around as ideas. <3 <3
There are a lot of things that go into making TV shows -- would a network or streaming service even want it? Is it still owned by Fox (I believe yes) are they even interested in a reboot? They tried to cancel it and buried it on Friday nights back in the day. I'm not sure its worth the money it is to make it.
Does Ryan even seem that interested? Honestly - he seemed indifferent. He wants to preserve the legacy of it, but didn't seem bursting with eagerness at revamping it. And what does rebooting mean to Ryan? Or the people he'd get to work with him? Would be a Kevin and Jenna vehicle? Or something else entirely? Who knows -- and even if it was all based on the five minutes of coming up with silly ideas on the podcast, by the time it hit development, who knows what would be created.
I can say - what it won't be is the adventures of Kurt, Blaine, or Klaine. I'm sorry - I really don't see either Chris or Darren being interested in anything more than a cameo part -- they're further down the road in their careers, and just don't need it.
Besides, to revitalize the spirit of the show, they'd bring it back to a high school. I can see them trying to use a new cast -- and maybe Tina becomes a teacher? I don't particularly love that idea, but it's more probable than a lot of the other ideas kicked around.
(Would Lea come back? Idk - she seems to be distancing herself from the show now, especially with all the drama that's been around her lately. She and RM are still tight though.)
I'll also remind you guys - while RM and Co liked to dick around with the couples, but the point was always to bring them back together again. And he does know how special Klaine (and the other ships) were special to people. I don't think he'd ultimately try to undo anything.
But also - two last things -- First, until we get something that says -- Glee Reboot first season Starring Darren Criss (with no Chris attached) and that's all very, very unlikely, I'm really not worried about it. Secondly - if the show does get picked up for a season (in the likely event that anyone wants to do it) and it totally fucks up Klaine -- it doesn't matter. It really, really doesn't.
As someone who has read comics for years, and who has seen characters destroyed a hundred times over -- it ultimately shouldn't diminish the good stories we do have. Glee is it's own, closed book. And anything supplemental shouldn't change or tarnish that.
#that's how s.o. sees it#how did i become the fandom mom?#i feel old#honestly - i don't feel this reboot as a thing that'll happen#and if it does - it'll be so vastly different than anything we can imagine#and it'll run two years and be cancelled because I really doubt it'll be any good#but that's just my two cents#i think while the legacy still stands - the time in pop culture has passed

BTS as Disney Heroes
Okay y’all, I know this has been done before, but Disney is just as much a passion of mine is BTS, so I thought I’d try my hand at combining them.
First, photo credit to BigHit and Dispatch, and Disney Character images to the incomparable Jirka Vinse Jonatan Väätäinen. All other photo manips by yours truly.
Jin
Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert
Hot takes:
Jin and Flynn rhyme. I kid, but I just realized it when I started typing so it gets a mention.
Handsome is their brand.
But their exterior is nothing compared to their fluffy goodness inside.
They work hard to be the best in their respective fields, even if Flynn’s is thieving and shenanigans.
Would fight a horse for your affection.
For Jin, I was torn between Prince Naveen and Flynn Rider. Both are handsome and they know it, but where Naveen is all Prince, Flynn is a little rogue and also a little Eugene Fitzherbert. Personally, aside from the visuals, Jin’s standout personality trait is his silly nature and penchant for Dad jokes, no matter how suave he is on the outside. This duality is perfect for Flynn/Eugene. They both appreciate the finer things in life, but not in entitled way, more in a “I know what’s like to go without the finer things and so I appreciate them when I have them” sort of way. Also, ya boy can sing. Also, smolder.
RM
Milo Thatch
Hot takes:
They have brains and beauty.
They can both rock a tank top.
Milo becomes the KING of Atlantis, so leadership runs in their veins.
No judgement would date a woman who is older and more powerful.
Glasses. That’s it, that’s the hot take.
RM and Milo both have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge (and I have an unquenchable thirst for them). Basically, RM just is Milo? Glasses, tank tops, giant brains and all. Milo is especially adept in languages and anthropology. Every time I see another picture of RM at a museum my choice is reaffirmed. Milo is also characterized by a deep sense of righteousness, expression, and knows how to hype a crowd. I vote Milo for most likely to speak at the UN (about Atlantean rights).
J-Hope
Prince Phillip
Hot takes:
HOBI IS AN IRL DISNEY PRINCE AND I WILL FIGHT YOU ON THAT AND DIE ON THAT HILL.
Can sing and dance and woo you in the space of a single song.
100% capable of both falling off a horse and slaying a dragon, why would you even question that.
Does not care for your royal traditions and will do as he pleases with a smile on his face and in his heart.
I have definitely “walked” with Hobi once upon a dream.
Disney Princes are kind of meh. I mean we build them up to be the male ideal, but mostly they’re kind of whiny and manipulative (I’m looking at you, Prince Eric). Prince Phillip is not your average Disney Prince. He’s okay being royal, but his royalty is second to his own dreams and desires. He was born into royalty and expectations, and he doesn’t whine or complain about it, he embraces it. Both Philip and Hobi are the embodiment of competence and capability. They are strong and soft, hard and delicate. I’ve always loved they way Philip was willing to throw everything away because he fell in love. This is traditionally the woman’s role in a fairy tale, and I feel like Prince Phillip, with his visual and performative duality, is more concerned with being true to himself than being what others think he should be. Also I’d put my money on it that they’re both very talented with their swords.
Suga
Kristoff
Hot takes
GRUMPY GRUMPS that still manage to be beloved by an entire clan of rock trolls. In Suga’s case, ARMY are the rock trolls. Own it.
Masters in their respective crafts (for Suga, this is music, obvs, for Kristoff this is… ice).
Can write songs and play instruments.
Attracts opposing personalities, who find his innate grumpy stoicism endearing (think Anna, Sven, Olaf).
Would ride through a blizzard like a valiant, pungent, reindeer king to save you.
Suga is no fixer-upper, but this one came easily to me. The grumpy act is a front, and really they’re just keeping their cards close to their chest and waiting for the right hand. They’re both incredibly capable. I would 100% trust both of them to help me find my magical sister in a blizzard while climbing up a mountain and running from wolves but only after I’ve earned their respect. Kristoff’s ice-mining skills remind me a lot of Suga’s ability to turn music into gold, but they’re both very humble about it, which speaks to their absolute mastery. And I know I put it in the hot take, but they both absolutely attract happy, bubbly, adoring friends and fans with their stoic personalities.
Jimin
Aladdin
Hot takes:
ABS.
A deep and sometimes melancholy desire to be more than what they seem.
Wherever they are, whatever they are doing, whether that’s scaling the rooftops of Agrabah or training for a KPop band, they put all of their mentality and physicality into it.
They’re both meant for more than what they started as.
Did I mention abs?
Every animated Disney movie has an “I want” song. Most of the female characters get amazing “I want” moments (except for Ariel, girl needs to learn how to love herself), but men, even central characters, are often very shallow. Don’t get me wrong, Go the Distance is one of the best “I want” songs in the Disney library, but it doesn’t have half the earnestness and depth or emotionality of the One Jump Ahead Reprise. We all know that Jimin has been the most forthcoming about his struggle with accepting himself and developing his skills as an idol. I feel like no other Disney Hero captures the essence of his “I want” like Aladdin does.
V
Robin Hood
Hot takes:
One is a fox, the other is a literal fox.
Cunning and silly. Misschievous and chivalrous. Basically, duality.
Willing to put autocratic authority in its place.
Their smiles are strangely attractive.
So inspirational that large followings of people are willing to follow them into danger.
Would absolutely steel from the rich and give to the poor when it’s the right thing to do.
This is partially about personality, but also partially about Tae’s sharp and handsome features that absolutely remind me of my weird attraction to Robin Hood. Although anyone’s physical attraction to Tae is definitely not weird because the man is a whole snack. I joke about Tae being chaotic neutral, but there’s no denying he has a deep sense of righteousness. He was willing to call Army out for the weird and sometimes hateful posts on Weverse, and 100% admire that he’s willing to stand-up to bullies. Robin Hood dons an absolutely ridiculous stork costume without blinking even if there are more dignified alternatives, because ultimately life’s about having fun and being weird, even when you’re basically starting a civil war.
Jungkook
Hercules
Hot takes:
The maknea of BTS vs. the maknea of Olympus.
They both have an ernst, puppy-dog like desire just to Do Good.
They both have an ernst, puppy-dog like desire to please their hyungs.
Into bodybuilding, but their physical strength is just an outward manifestation of their inner strength.
Hands down would go to Hades, no questions asked, to save the one(s) he loves.
This was another no-brainer. Both of these makeneas are ruled by their desire to please their elders, whether that’s Zeus and Phil or RM and Hobi. And really if young, awkward, but completely capable Hercules doesn’t remind you of baby, JK, get out of my house. They both bask in the admiration of their fans, but what’s really important to them is being accepted and loved by their close circle of friends and family. They are both incredibly loyal, almost to a fault, and were destined for greatness.

"Unwilling closeting". I really think they can claim that nothing happened that D/arren did not agree to. He is under contract, a contract he signed willingly enough at the time. I imagine they also have some kind of clause that prevents him from disclosing things.
Sorry it took some time to get back to you. But yes, I stand by “unwilling closeting.” I don’t think at this point a contract signed 7+ years ago is something we can continue to blame D for. This has far surpassed that contract and has spun completely out of control.
To me it is clear he is miserable, he has made that abundantly obvious.
Further, this is the WORST MARKETING STRATEGY KNOWN TO MAN. It is counterproductive to the current product being sold (ACS) and has turned off both D’s fans as well as potential viewers of a show as no one wants to watch a show about closeting and homophobia when it appears to the GA the star is so uncomfortable with playing gay he has to constantly affirm his heterosexuality (we know this is not the case as we know print articles cannot be trusted and D is not in control of his life) or alternatively, D looks insincere and desperate to the large number of audience members who know or highly suspect he is closeted (it is one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood).
It is so frustrating and while I think there were more issues with the marketing of ACS (such as pushing R/icky and Pen/elope as the stars and that Vers/ace was the large theme which was not true) I firmly believe it has hurt the show.
We all know that he is controlled by contracts and power of attorney and that his team and his studio have the right to market him in the manner they see as the most profitable. Though honestly at this point I don’t even think that is the issue. I have said before, I think this has far surpassed selling D the straight product. This is about self preservation for some many of the guilty parties and about exerting the ultimate power over D while they still have the legal authority to control him. And of course the marketing of that woman tethered to him which seems to be Team Beard’s number one priority.
Fact, Team Inhuman, Fox, and RM all have a ton to lose when the truth is discovered. We all know that. They closeted both D and CC. Huge mistake. And I think Fox/RM are aware (his team are just idiots so i don’t think they know or care as long as they are profiting and hurting D).
I still believe, even though I have been mocked for it all over the internet, D made a deal with F/ox/RM and they failed to deliver on promises and instead allowed his team to do whatever the fuck they wanted as it extended the time before the truth was told. And I have to wonder if the purchase of F/ox by Disn/ey and the departure of RM from F/ox (likely contemplated for some time) had anything to do with this. Because F/ox doesn’t have to go into self preservation mode and Dis/ney had no part in D’s closeting and cannot be blamed. And neither F/ox nor Dis/ney has an interest in protecting RM. So perhaps, maybe they realized better to keep the status quo and not blow things up until it no longer matters. Maybe? I honestly don’t know, but I cannot shake that what is happening was not what was planned or promised.
Anyhow that was a long winded and way too rambling way of saying at this time in 2018 I do not think D has any control over his life. I think the risks of him making a counter move are high but I still think he is doing his best to fight all of the oppressors. It is just a question of when he can finally free himself in a manner that causes minimal damage.

The Glee project has nothing to do with Fox. It was on Oxygen which is an NBC subsidiary, and was produced by Ryan's company. Ryan wanted to be a star-maker over and over again, so that's what the Glee project contest was about. What Fox was working on was the NY spin-off, which they ultimately decided against - they thought it will cannibalize Glee and besides, they were moving into a direction of other Murphy shows (the anthologies) under the huge development deal 20th C Fox had with Ryan.
So - my memory is super fuzzy, and I never watched nor was into the Glee Project when it was on.
One of my guests on the podcast (I can’t remember who - but please speak up if it was you) mentioned that it was not Ryan’s idea for the Glee Project but some network’s - whether it was Fox, or NBC, or Oxygen - I have no idea. But - Ryan said, fine if I have to do it, I’m gonna do it my way.
I will say that yes - had NY spin-off had happened, people would have stopped watching Glee, and I think production knew that, hence it was halted. However, I think RM got a little bored with Glee after season 2 (as, apparently, he has a tendency to do with shows), and shoved it off onto other writers.
The history of Glee is complicated and messy.

The degenerate’s guide to 2017 college football TV watch ‘em ups: week 11
It’s the moooost wonderful time of the year...
I actually have some shred of hope in my heart for the world. I express that by trotting out Pen & Pixel’s greatest accomplishment (among a plethora of seeming high water marks.) I’ve also got a nervous energy that sports shouldn’t inspire in a person unless they’re directly involved. Maybe I’ve got CTE and this is how it’s manifesting?
I am to understand that some people don’t even think Miami-Notre Dame is the game of the week but those people are crazy. Two Big XII teams meeting to set up some rematch or other in motion for the Big XII title game in a couple of weeks is no sort of draw to anybody outside of fans of those two teams. We as a nation require pageantry and flair with a nice note of tradition.
This is bigger in my mind than it needs to be. You all can relax and watch the rest of this lineup, it’s bangers from start to finish really, but I will be impatient and unlikable all day. More unpleasant than usual, probably. But this picture of the late, great Cortez Kennedy celebrating will give me strength:
You should know the drill on the information below. The times and broadcast networks ripped from FBSchedules. The betting info pilfered from Vegas Insider. The insults to my intelligence and my effort, then, will once again come from you the dedicated readers.

Matchup Time (ET) TV
Arkansas at (24) LSU Noon ESPN
That #24 next to LSU seems crazy but I would probably take them over pretty much all of the 104 teams ranked below them. Guice versus Arkansas could be a real problem if Eddie O lets it be one. I wonder what the o/u is on his yards in this game? 79 against Alabama has to translate to about 400 against Arkansas.
Duke at Army Noon CBSSN
It is a cruel thing to ask somebody on the Navy side of the divide to root for Army football but we must all stand as one to defeat the Blue Evils.
Florida at South Carolina Noon CBS
It is not at all surprising that one of these teams is playing for an interim head coach but I would have never guessed in July that it would be Florida. On the one hand Sakerlina -6 against anybody seems high but UF just got blown out by Missouri.
Indiana at Illinois Noon BTN
It seems sort of unfair that other coaches get fired and Lovie Smith doesn’t.
(12) Michigan State at (13) Ohio State Noon FOX
I know it seems stupid to make a team that just got beat the fuck down by Iowa last week a 17-point favorite this week but I also kind of feel like that’s being generous to Michigan State. I’ll be cheering Sparty on but I’ve got a bad feeling about this for the green and white.
(23) NC State at Boston College Noon ABC/ESPN2 (RM)
Steve Addazio has made a lot of money in his life to be an offensive guru of sorts and it seems like he only figured out how to coach offense on October 14th of this year. I still don’t know what to make of this renaissance but here’s a game featuring two of the top EDGE prospects for 2018. I got no more.
Nebraska at Minnesota Noon FS1
If it’s on the schedule I guess you should probably go ahead and play it.
(15) Oklahoma State at (21) Iowa State Noon ABC/ESPN2 (RM)
I’ve been waiting for Iowa State to turn back into a pumpkin but I also kind of hate Oklahoma State. I don’t hate Iowa State I just don’t trust them to keep winning. O/U of 61 seems sort of low to me.
Rutgers at (14) Penn State Noon BTN
Oh, great, Saquon Barkley gets to boost his profile again. If he gets enough carries he could reasonably move back into the top 20 rushers in the country but, let’s be honest here, his Heisman candidacy is based on him making one single flash play per game so it doesn’t even really matter if he rushes 20 times for 89 yards and a touchdown if the touchdown is a 77-yard draw play with a couple of jukes.
Texas Tech vs. Baylor (in Arlington) Noon FSN
I was legitimately sad to see Baylor win 38-3 last week and not because I have any fond feelings for Kansas. If anything I kind of like the running joke of Kansas football over the past few years. But seeing Baylor do well is sickening.
UConn at (18) UCF Noon ESPNU
I keep expecting UCF to fuck up one of these weeks. I don’t think UConn is the team to make it happen but I also don’t know about trusting UCF’s talent level.
UL Lafayette at University of Mississippi Noon SECN
ULL is a 20-point underdog and they’re terrible but I don’t know if they’re 20-point underdog to Mississippi terrible.
(17) Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech Noon ACCN
I’m sort of pissed off at Georgia Tech for losing last week. At least for throwing 22 passes and losing. WTF is Georgia Tech doing throwing 22 passes against a team that’s not historically atrocious against the pass?
Middle Tennessee at Charlotte 2:00 pm ESPN3
I don’t know what’s up with my guy Richie James. I keep waiting for him to break back out and he keeps not doing it. Charlotte is a pretty good place to do it, I guess?
Wake Forest at Syracuse 3:00 pm RSN
There’s a lot of effort to go around between these two terrible teams. I don’t enjoy the way either one of them plays but I respect how much they both seem to enjoy playing even though they suck.
Florida Atlantic at LA Tech 3:30 pm Stadium
Point Shavin’ Kiffykins is open for business! Louisiana Tech has not been good or consistent this year so I’ve got a good feeling about FAU beating them by a touchdown or more but I also feel like Kiffin is making extra money by betting on his team. No way to know which way he bet this week.
Florida State at (4) Clemson 3:30 pm ESPN
The oddity that is Florida State’s season would be made perfect by springing a huge upset here. Vegas expects something to the effect of Clemson 32-FSU 15 but I have this weird idea that Florida State can hang with them. I get that the Seminoles offense is bad but I’m not 100% that Clemson’s is very much better. The O/U is only 46 so there’s not a lot of wiggle room there. Even so I’d guess take the under and the Seminoles and wait for Cam Akers to make something out of nothing.
(1) Georgia at (10) Auburn 3:30 pm CBS
Here’s the other upset waiting to happen. Actually, let me amend that. I don’t think FSU can actually win just keep things close. I think Auburn can actually win. Georgia has a fantastic defense and one of the most elemental offenses in the country. They have a near limitless supply of great running backs but everything else is sort of suspect. Auburn is on a similar talent level but with a more varied offensive scheme and they’re playing at home. So look for Kerryon to key an ultimately meaningless (from AU’s perspective) surprise victory for the Barners.
(20) Iowa at (8) Wisconsin 3:30 pm ABC
Iowa is the toast of the college football world this week after their bizarre 55-24 win against Ohio State last week. Can they do it again? No. I’m with Vegas in thinking Wisconsin rolls.
Michigan at Maryland 3:30 pm BTN
If Michigan starts losing shit games like this then you can worry about Jim Harbaugh but I stand by my assessment that he’s going to have the Wolverines on the same level as Ohio State by 2019.
SMU at Navy 3:30 pm CBSSN
SMU still has a shot at taking the AAC West if Memphis falters but Navy is just playing spoiler at this point. I don’t know how much that affects Navy’s execution but if SMU plays tight in this one they’ll get run over.
Southern Miss at Rice 3:30 pm Stadium
This is a weirdly appealing uniform matchup for me. I downloaded the Stadium app but I think you need a facebook account to use it so it’s just sitting there on my phone looking like Postmates, which I also don’t use.
Virginia at Louisville 3:30 pm ESPNU
Louisville is a double digit favorite against a team with a better record and more to play for and, truth be told, more high end talent on the roster. There is something that bookmakers like about this matchup that I do not understand.
West Virginia at Kansas State 3:30 pm ESPN2
This game is basically a pick ‘em and if K State wins these teams will be have identical records. It’s not the worst Big XII matchup ever but KSU has been pretty dull for watchin’ ‘em up purposes this year.
Georgia State at Texas State 4:00 pm CW35/ESPN3
The audience for this game on TV has to be 400 people total. Texas State is a garbage heap right now so this GSU (the good one!) should stay alive in the Sun Belt race. That 6.5-point line seems low to me even though it’s gone up 2 points over the course of the week.
Kentucky at Vanderbilt 4:00 pm SECN
In a weird twist this isn’t even close to the worst matchup in the SEC this year. It’s on the better-than-average side of things at that.
Maine vs. UMass (Fenway Park) 4:00 pm 11 Sports/NESN
The battle for the soul of New England college footbaal! UMass has that one TE that’s really good so I guess they’ll win. I don’t really hate the football games in baseball stadiums thing because at least it’s visually different than other games but I don’t really get why they do these things.
San Jose State at Nevada 4:00 pm ESPN3
If you watch this because you bet on it then you, my friend, are exactly who these posts are made for.
(11) USC at Colorado 4:00 pm FOX
The trick to beating USC is to hold onto at least 3 of the average 6 interceptable passes that Sam Darnold throws in an average game. Colorado could honestly do that and still lose because their offense stinks but 3 or more interceptions is definitely on the table for the Buffs.
Troy at Coastal Carolina 4:30 pm ESPN3
As a premier online tout you will have to subscribe to my insider tips to get my full thoughts on this game but let’s just say that a 17-point road favorite seems undervalued if anything.
Arkansas State at South Alabama 5:00 pm ESPN3
Again with the online super touting: I didn’t even look at the line and I’m taking USA to beat the spread.
UTEP at North Texas 5:00 pm ESPN3
UNT is bowl eligible already now they’re playing for the CUSA crown. FAU and FIU are the main contenders in the East but the 096ers are in the driver’s seat the West crown.
(19) Washington State at Utah 5:30 pm Pac-12N
Washington State got a bad draw in closing the season here and @ UDub for their final two games but they should be able to handle Utah right now. The annual Utah sprint to the finish is not happening this year.
Kansas at Texas 6:00 pm LHN/JTV
Last year KU got Charlie Strong fired and this year they can, maybe, get their own coach fired if they’re lucky.
WKU at Marshall 6:30 pm beIN SPORTS
Honestly CUSA is serving up some decent action this week if you find yourself feeling sort of off Broadway.
(2) Alabama at (16) Mississippi State 7:00 pm ESPN
Alabama seems like the worst team to gamble on for my dollars. There’s no doubt in my mind they’ll beat the stuffing out of Miss State but they might lame things up on the way to a 21-9 kind of game.
New Mexico at Texas A&M 7:00 pm ESPNU
New Mexico is really bad but I’m not offering any gambling advice for this one.
Old Dominion at FIU 7:00 pm CUSA.TV
Here’s a line I have strong feelings for. FIU should beat ODU by at least 30 but for whatever reason the spread is under 10 points. Do oddsmakers not see FIU’s record so far in 2017.
Purdue at (25) Northwestern 7:00 pm ESPN2
I don’t like this Northwestern being ranked schtick. Boiler Up!
Tulane at East Carolina 7:00 pm CBSSN
The 7 o’clock kicks are not particularly great and this is one of them.
UAB at UTSA 7:00 pm KCWX-TV
If you pronounce this game aas WAB at Utsaaa it becomes more fun but you also have to have a local channel to watch.
Tennessee at Missouri 7:30 pm SECN
Everybody knows generally about the reasons to hate Penn State and Baylor football but I think it’s unfair to Tennessee that they aren’t more widely known as a poisonous house of horrible antics and criminal bullshit.
(3) Notre Dame at (7) Miami, FL 8:00 pm ABC
I’m trying to get an honest gauge free of emotions on this game and have been for about a week. I think the perception of Miami around the country is a scrappy team getting it done with smoke and mirrors but I think it’s more accurate to say that QB is often their least valuable player on the field and that they are outrageously stacked in their receiving corps and along the defensive line. Notre Dame should be able to run on Miami in spite of the front four because the second level has been messy for the Hurricanes. Front four and back four are fine but the three guys in the middle sometimes look like herding cats. Notre Dame’s offensive line is great and their running game has been crazy but they’re pass offense is suspect and they do give up explosive plays on defense. Miami makes a lot of big plays on offense. This is a lot closer than a lot of people realize and I won’t exactly be surprised if Miami bum rushes the Irish in the early going.
(6) TCU at (5) Oklahoma 8:00 pm FOX
Does it undercut the moment for this game that there’s a really strong chance that these same two teams play each other in the inaugural Big XII Title Game? I’m always rooting for the worst outcome for this shit conference and I think that’s a TCU win.
Arizona State at UCLA 9:30 pm Pac-12N
Josh Rosen has apparently passed the concussion protocol so this might end up being a down-to-the-wire game slightly favoring UCLA but this game is really all about the weirdly bad ways that both head coaches are sabotaging the talent on their respective rosters.
Oregon State at Arizona 10:15 pm ESPN2
If you like Khalil Tate and want to see some highlights have I got the game for you! If Tate doesn’t break off at least 200-yards of rushing he will be one
Wyoming at Air Force 10:15 pm ESPNU
The Josh Allen Experience continues on down the road. This is the kind of game where, historically, he’s been very bad but he’s playing for his football life to get better now as opposed to after next season.
Boise State at Colorado State 10:30 pm CBSSN
CSU’s chances at winning the MWC are more or less dead but they should be at their peak level going against Boise this week.
Fresno State at Hawaii 11:00 pm KSEE-24/Spectrum PPV/MWN
That’s the longest string of channel listings in Watch ‘Em Ups history. And not a single one of those networks reaches a single home in America. As it should be for a game between these two programs.

Maybe just maybe —- the overkill of PR is to get in as much publicity as she can before she has to “pretend” to manage a bar? Isn’t the official opening date the end of this month? Kinda hard to explain why you have so much time off after that, no? Just wishful thinking? Do you think the break up will come anytime soon or are we looking at another year or two? Don’t think D can survive much more.
Anon, I am making no predictions at this point. Though I will say, I stand by my earlier thinking, I still think D made a deal and something drastically was altered. I absolutely do not think this was the plan. At least not the plan he was aware of and looking back the evidence is pretty clear.
It is now glaringly obvious the bar opening was intentionally delayed. It was October. Then it was December (again, I confident that was the plan based on the start and sudden stop of the Elvis promotion). Now it appears to be February but I am not holding my breathe.
My guess? Team Inhuman KNEW that D had a plan to come out and they knew once he did, likely he would break free and that it could possibly mean they were going to take the blame (because they knew he wasn’t blaming RM and Fox). And well, they have always promoted M over him. And they have always had the intent of sabotaging him as their relationship broke down.
I think among them, they made an alternative plan and it was put into motion in January starting with articles about her speculating on an engagement, enabler T saying they had “many things to celebrate,” the horrific print articles leading to the engage. Again remember, contractually they have the power to promote him in the image they choose and he ultimately has no control. So what happened? We got the engage he did not want and promo like i have never in my life seen before. She is everywhere all the time. There are articles about HER. Ones that promote her and make him look like a dick. It is surreal what is happening. I do not understand how a team is able to legally get away with this behavior, but it appears they are, because it is damaging to his career. My guess? The end was always the bar and whatever stated time it needs to be open. And Team Inhumane wanted to maximize his success on ACS and get her maximum exposure. The “engage” the week it premiered assured that.
And that is what is happening right now, we are still getting excess to lead to the bar opening. And i would guess there has been agreed to promo once it opens as well.
But the only thing this complete excess and utter hijacking of D’s life that is maybe positive, it is making me hopeful as it really does look more like an end than a beginning. If they were playing the long-game with the engage they would not be pushing her at the rate that they are. They would let this move at a much more normalized pass. Because the more they push, the more fake it appears. And the more obvious the intent was to promote her and try to stop him from coming out.
