What if John Constantine was Vlad Masters' uncle?

Just saying, it turns out that canonically John had an older sister named Cheryl who married a certain Tonny Masters and they had a daughter named Gemma Masters, now add Vlad as a possible child of the couple, the youngest or the oldest as you want, it doesn't matter .

It is a fact that the members of the Constantin family will end up involved in some way with the supernatural whether they like it or not, Cheryl and Tonny end up dead due to the manipulations of a demon, Gemma was also a supernatural detective for a time. Cheryl had had a son in adolescence that her father forced her to leave in the hospital, who also ended up becoming interested in magic. Vlad was also interested in the supernatural, he only opted for the more scientific side until he half-dies years after that accident.

I imagine it, John visiting his nephew after the "scientific" accident with the protoportal, he can feel his nephew, he is slowly dying in that room, he tries to find something to help him, but then he ends up getting a call from the hospital saying that Vlad He was dead for practically 15 minutes before they could get his heart beating again, the next time John goes to visit Vlad in the hospital, he can say without a doubt that his nephew is no longer human, at least, not completely.….

Obsessions

More of a ramble, but it could be taken as a prompt. Closer to a headcanon though.

So you guys know how Danny's obsessions is either space, protection, or both of them? Well if it had to do with protection, what happened with Dan?

Obsessions are more of a ghost thing. His humanity was killed with his human half? What if that wasn't it?

Protection is actually a much wider spectrum. It doesn't just have to do with protecting someone else, but also yourself.

Getting rid of Dan's human half got rid of his morality, his humanity, the hero in him.

What if it also mutated his Obsession?

A lot of people like to call his obsession violence, maybe even family for a select few. But I think it should be Safety.

Yes, safety is basically synonymous with protection, but there are differences apparently. I'm more focused on differentiating them though. It just helps separate Danny and Dan's obsessions from each other to avoid misunderstandings.

But point is- what if Dan's obsession is actually about protecting himself? What if his obsession is keeping himself safe?

When he got separated from his human half, it was because his human half wanted him gone. There must've been some underlying part of Ending him, killing him, really making sure he was gone. And Dan would know. He was just the same mind as the other half before the separation took place.

So to keep himself safe, to protect himself, he killed off his human half. He knew how smart they were. You can't live with scientists, modifying their inventions to become less lethal, without learning a thing or 2.

And then there was Vlad. He was strong. The human half of him was what made Danny so durable, as he was resistant to anti-ecto equipment thank to that. Which meant Dan was weaker now and Vlad could easily avenge that Danny or take control of Dan. That's not even mentioning that he was only half a being.

So he stole Plasmius and fused, overpowering the other. Then becoming Dan and all that.

But then the whole world was still against him, with the GIW and all that (I don't know if they were introduced by then, but let's just imagine they were). They were a threat. The people hating him could all grow a pair and make weapons if they tried hard enough, so they were a threat.

So he killed them.

Then the time shenanigans came in and he met his younger self. That would obviously mess with reality somehow. Enough that he'd disappear. So he went to save himself by trying to make the same events happen to Danny.

It would make sense. So yeah. Dan's obsession is Safety in my opinion.

Maybe in a redemption arc, he protects his family (he won't admit that he thinks of them like that) because it'll affect his mental and emotional heal. He's trying to save himself from heartache of losing someone else.

Did you think that was it? Hell no. Let's continue with Vlad.

I bet his obsession is family. Obvious enough, but yeah. He considers Danny his son, Maddie his wife. No idea why he ignores Jazz despite her looking much more similar to Maddie than Danny.

Like- yeah, Danny is the one with ghost powers. But Jazz has the looks, specifically the hair. idk, I feel like he should obsess more for her.

"She has my eyes" not really "and Maddie's hair" yep.

That type of thing. He's delusional enough in the show.

Then there's Elle/Ellie/Dani. Obvious and agreed upon enough: Freedom.

But what about Jazz?

What if she became a halfa or considered liminal enough for an honorary obsession?

I'd think hers would be stability. She wants everyone to be ok, normal, and she's canonically a control freak. Sure, hers could be control, but I feel like she isn't much in the controlling thing.

Psychology, for example, is seeking stability and recovery. Recovery doesn't work much because I don't see her fretting over paper cuts or anything like that. But I bet she wants a break for everyone. and everything would be fine if everything went the same. Was normal. Was stable and not out of control like a government branch trying to commit war crimes and mass genocide.

This could probably be put differently. Maybe a different word, but I feel like this fits? Idk, maybe I'm not explaining this right, but this is technically a ramble.

Oh! And this makes sense if Jazz is the halfa. "I'll make sure everything stays the same" Everything becomes stable. There's still a problem, but as long as it's dealt with accordingly, it's ok.

Completely off topic, but there's this artist that draws Jazz as Jazz Phantom with blue hair and I think an orange headband and she's SO pretty like that. I almost want to get back into art to draw fanart with that now stuck in my head. She's just so PRETTY! she's pretty as a human too but- just- I love the blue hair. I love the idea in general. Made me get to the point of actively simping for Jazz and not just being a fan-

They still show skin. They still breathe in air with ambient ectoplasm in it.

What the fuck is their obsession called? Is it shared? Is it the same?

I know that people in the phandom usually talk about how Valerie would react to finding out that Danny is Phantom. Would she feel betrayed? Confused? Angry?. I mean, it does make sense-Danny and Valerie's relationship is very important in the show, mainly in Season 1 and 2.

But you know what i haven't seen much talked about?

About how she would react and do after finding out that Vlad is Plasmius

We did get some hints of what could happened had plotline been continued after D-Stablilized- that she would probably try haunting Vlad after finding out.

But you have to understand that their relationship is more complicated than that and i think it would require more episodes or scenes to see Valerie's emotional state after that.

Valerie was just a 14 year old teenager when her life was turned upside down, her father lost her job, she had to move to a new place and had to work when she wasn't going to school (two jobs on top of that). She was overall in a pretty rough situation.

So when she finds out that Vlad was the one that gave her the ghost hunter equipment, she questions him why he did that- but she quickly eats up Vlad's lies as she is feeling like she is having someone, specially an adult, who is trying to help her.

She was in a complicated situation when Vlad showed up, in a way she feels like Vlad ¨saved her¨ by helping her, because again, her friends had left her and her father had to work extra after losing most of their things. When you are a teenager dealing with all that, you can be easily exploited by adults who may not have the best intentions for you.

Based on Valerie's dialogue pre reveal, she sees Vlad as a good man and has a lot of respect for him. She looks up to him and is willing to do almost any job for him even if it is questionable ( like in D-Stablilized)

What would happen when she finds out that Vlad has been tricking her all this time?

She would be devastated. This was a person she worked with and she looked up to. That she even cared about. She highly valued her working relatioship with him.

I think she would feel really angry but betrayed as well. All this time she had been manipulated by the same person who was her enemy and has put her in danger more than one time. We didn't get to see it but i wouldn't be surprised if she had a breakdown after this. I find it hard to believe she got over that quickly.

Based on her reaction near the end of D-Stabilized, i can see her trying to haunt down Vlad- she would forget about Phantom and get invested in getting revenge on Plasmius. It wouldn't be out of place to say that she could get a little too obsessed knowing how she was with Phantom.

Another possibility is that she tells Phantom about this and the two team up in secret to take Vlad down. Maybe she pretends to keep working for him to act as an spy and then use the best opportunity she has to ruin him with Danny helping her.

It is certainly interesting to think about what directions Valerie's character could take after the reveal for her, as it can go in multiple ways based on how she reacts to it.

There is only one true Halfa

Ok, hear me out on this. So Danny, Vlad and Dani are all considered Halfas which is understandable but if you think about it then it’s not actually true. Why?

Well Danny was the only one that actually died. He was electrocuted to death as the portal started and then a hole was ripped between two dimensions right on Danny or heck more like it was ripped open inside him. Flooding him with ectoplasm while he died. So his DNA merged with the energy of a whole dimension made of energy leaving Danny at a balance between the two dimensions. This also might be why Danny seems to never stop growing power wise. I mean he literally merged with a whole dimensions worth of energy. He is the embodiment of the balance between the two parallel dimensions. (I’d like to think that he is the only reason the portal opened as well for maybe there needed to be balance between life and death but hey. Also Danny may be able to open and close portals himself.)

Now Vlad was flooded with a large amount of ectoplasm but he wasn’t killed and his DNA never merge with the ectoplasm. So Vlad isn’t half dead but fully alive and maybe it’s like a symbiotic relationship between him and ectoplasm. As such Vlad dose not have a core or an obsession like ghosts and Danny. Though maybe the ectoplasm is trying to form an obsession at least. This is why that Vlad is only so powerful with his years of having his powers, sure he’s far more powerful than most ghosts but he also holds a small amount of the Dimensions very energy.

Then there is Dani, she’s an imperfect clone of Danny. And she was the only clone that survived out of the many Vlad tried to create. Vlad cannot replicate life and death at the same time nore can he forcefully merge Dani with the right amount of ectoplasm or the right kind. Danny is one of a kind, and his life long exposure to ectoplasm is probably the only reason he is what he is instead of a pile of ash but how could Vlad know that and how could he replicate it to the exact. Dani is basically more like Vlad, but maybe instead of a symbiotic relationship it’s more of a parasitic relationship between her and ectoplasm, she will die without it as it’s part of her but it also try’s to destroy her thus why she needs to be stabilized.

I just sent you an ask. And yes! I remember Curse. That's the clone Wes story. It's the sequel to a one shot @wastefulreverie wrote. Basically, Wes looks like Danny and is strangely obsessed with him because he's actually a fullt human clone made by Vlad and designed to spy on Danny.

Except in my story he isn't actually fully human. His powers start developing while he's on the run with Danielle. This ends up causing him a lot of pain and he overdoses it while trying to get away from Skulker. Cue Ellie calling their original, Danny coming to get them, and getting discovered by Jack and Maddie when he rushes a potentially destabilizing Wes to the lab.

The parents take it well, find a way to stabilize Wes's powers (since he actually is half ghost just with an underdeveloped core due to ectoplasm starvation). And the story ends with Wes finally able to transform and formally deciding to stay with the Fentons as his family.

Danielle Masters Fenton Phantom;

Dani was born from Vlad Masters failed attempt at cloning Aidan Al Ghul Daniel Fenton due to his initial obsession with the Hero's adoptive Mother, which expanded to include him when he learned that he was a halfa(half human, half ghost) like himself. When it became clear that Danny would never willingly become his son, Vlad tried to clone him. Out of all of his failed attempts Danielle was the only one that came out relatively stable, but even she wasn't entirely so. Parts of her would randomly melt into goo and she would have to wait for her structure to stabilize so she could reform, until eventually she was on the verge of total break down.

That was when she went to Danny, Vlad telling her that they needed Danny's help to be able to stabilize her. Even though that was technically true? Vlad was also hoping to be able to force Danny into a role as his son, Dani's existence had quelled his obsession for a bit- but only until he was faced with a chance to gain Danny as a son again. Eventually Dani realized that Vlad was using her as a means to get to Danny, and so she turned against him and helped Danny who in turn helped to stabilize her using some of the Fenton's equipment.

After that she stayed in Amity for a couple of days before leaving to "explore the world", really she knew that staying in Amity would make it easy for The Fentons to learn Danny's secret and put him in potential danger. Because of that she only visits occasionally and doesn't let any adults know she's there, sticking with the trio and Jazz and sleeping on Sam's couch. Before she initially left to explore the world Jazz pulled her aside to talk to her, she wanted her to know that Danny had a twin brother. She told her that she didn't know how similar they looked because Danny didn't really talk about him, but she wanted her to know just encase so she wouldn't immediately assume Vlad was trying to clone him again if she ran into him.

It was about a month after Danny was told her would be crowned King of the Infinite Realms that Dani showed up in Amity and learned as much, and not long after that she ended up in Gotham. She was drawn to the city because of it having a high ecto plasmic signature, and decided to stick around for a bit because it seemed interesting.

Going with the plot line in my story, she meets Jason Todd and is drawn to him because she can sense his pit exposure. He doesn't set off her ghost sense immediately, but it's almost like when you almost sneeze but it goes away. Eventually when he gets annoyed at her following after him and a bit of the pit rage peaks through it does fully trigger her ghost sense, after she realizes he has died and come back she makes a habit of bothering him when in Gotham and that it how she eventually meets the other Bat's. She will leave for a few days or weeks at a time, but when she comes back she always goes to bother him first. Even if she won't admit it because of her fear of connection and abandonment, she comes to see him as a brother even before knowing Danny's connection to the Wayne family.

Hm, that could gut Jack depending on how it's delivered. That then asks the question would Jack know that it was Vlad doing the cloning? Now he's calling Vlad in tears asking him if the other clones really fell apart. And Vlad would, with his new Obsession refocus, would be so upset with past Vlad. How could he do that to Jack's son, when he was meant to be the cool Godfather! He immediately springs in to action to trying bring the others back and stabilize all of them.

Next time he shows up in Gotham he has a small gaggle of reincorporated clones siblings for Danny and Jack. And a serum for Dani to stabilize her. Because that was the logical option.

Been thinking about Danny with an obsession around safety/stability. Not as much in the physical sense but more in the always going back to the same impulses and ideals because they’re what makes the world make sense and then having a hard time with getting away from black and white thinking because of it. His friends and allies are good because they’re good to him and anyone they’re against must be the enemy. He’s the hero so everything he does is good and justified and he can’t really hurt people the way villains like Skulker or Spectra or Vlad do

Except he can and does because he’s a teenager and he doesn’t have the experience to know when what he’s doing is hurting people beyond the obvious. A punch causes pain and bruising and physical reactions. But words can cause injury he doesn’t see. Mocking people for things can give him an edge in a fight, but it can also backfire if he’s not careful and he doesn’t know how to be careful with that yet.

He also can’t imagine his parents not being together to the point where things that would be red flags to others— the month long Christmas argument, his mom not trusting his dad to deal with Vlad after the Colorado trip, his dad ignoring his wife’s discomfort in favor of his old friend— are just his parent’s quirks. His sister is always a bossy know-it-all even when she’s trying her best to understand and be supportive or trying to change. His friends will always be his friends no matter what he puts them through, even if he keeps putting them through it again and again after swearing to change.

So whatever change does happen has to be slow and expected for him to be comfortable with it— like the expectation of growing older and eventually going off to college are things he can ease into like a new normal while other things like one of his friends or Jazz suddenly dating are jarring and frightening until they become normal. That’s why TUE!Danny went off the deep end— everything changed and way too fast. Getting rid of his ghost and freeing himself from his obsession would be the only way to finally start healing.

Danielle Headcanon

Okay, hear me out.

So I have this headcanon (because I love Danielle an unhealthy amount) that the reason Danielle ended up stabilizing is actually because she died.

This is disregarding the whole "monsters from another dimension" thing becasue that's dumb, and focusing on how ghosts are created. So typically, there's something tethering a ghost, something that they loved so much in life that it becomes their obsession in the afterlife right?

In the moment that Danielle was being destabilized, she had who knows how much electricity coursing through her, she was just shot up with this stuff that (for my purposes) automatically increases a ghost's current ecto-plasma count by like ten, and she was trying her damnedest to stay alive. Sounds like a ghost cocktail to me.

The moment she melted her supercharged ecto-plasma began stitching itself back together around her also supercharged core. I feel like this mix of ecto-steroid, electricity, and pure willpower would be enough to solidify a ghost.

So that covers the ghost half, but what about her human half? Is she a ghost that can disguise herself as human? Is she a full ghost?

In order to kill something, it has to be alive first. I think Vlad would have realized that, and that's why Danielle was the only one with a human form, becasue before Vlad tried to make her a ghost he made her human. I think the tricky part was trying to figure out the right conditions to make a halfa.

Vlad couldn't stabilize her ghost half becasue he didn't actually create a ghost. He just pumped her full of ectoplasm in a way similar to what happened to him or Danny, but when that didn't work he knew he needed some things more specific to Danny's DNA.

Anyway, that's my headcanon. I think Danielle died like any other ghost, but not enough to become a proper ghost.

Lets talk about Vlad and Danielle's relationship (and Danielle's character as a whole)

Danielle/Dani Phantom is a character that was introduced in the Season 2 episode ¨Kindred Spirits¨. She shows up in Danny's house and later reveals to be a half ghost just as Danny. Around half of the episode we get the twist that she is a clone made by Vlad and she is his ¨daughter¨.

We know how the rest goes, with help of Danny, Danielle realizes that Vlad is using her and in reality he doesn't care about her because she isn't the ¨perfect human-ghost hybrid clone son¨ that Vlad wanted. Dani helps Danny fighting against Vlad and she runs away after seeing how her ¨father¨ didn't exactly love her.

The episode as whole is very entertaining to watch and Vlad and Danielle's manipulative relationship is interesting to analyse. It shows how Vlad is so obsessed with his plans that he can't see that he has what he wished for so much (someone who sees him as a father figure) and screws it up. Danny gains a new ¨relative¨- someone who is just like him, human-ghost included.

The problem for me is that a lot of what happens in this episode doesn't feel ¨earned¨: The same episode that introduces Danielle it is the same one she rebels herself against her own father figure. We don't know enough about Dani aside from the fact she is more energetic and likes to eat a lot, is a girl and younger than Danny. This is one of the reasons of why some fans couldn't bring themselves to care about her or prefer to ignore her existence as character.

If this series had been more serialized, what i would have preferred was for Danielle to have her own character arc in which she grows to befriend Danny and others from his social circle and learn that she was fed with lies about the Fenton family from Vlad. Maybe how Jack isn't this terrible man Vlad told her about or just not as bad. That Jack and Maddie really love each other, etc.

We could have seen more of how Vlad and Dani's father-daughter relationship worked and how Vlad acted as a father figure to her. It would have helped a lot with giving characterization to Vlad and Danielle (specially the later). Their relationship in the series previous Kindred Spirits is ambitious, not leaving clear how Dani was raised by Masters.

In result we could have had a more interesting character than who is Dani in the series and her having a proper arc that builds to her realizing Vlad's true nature and her rebelling against him, being a better payoff than Kindred Spirits.

Leaving that aside, lets talk about the relationship they have in Kindred Spirits and some extent D-Stabilized and what could happen between the two if she shows up in AGIT sequel and Vlad wants to keep making amends.

In Kindred Spirits what we see is that Vlad sees Danielle as his ¨pawn¨. He calls her his daughter a few times, yes, and he still does after this episode. What i'm trying to say is that Vlad cares about how useful Dani can be to him and when he got his perfect clone, she would probably turn into a ¨mess he wouldn't clean up¨.

One thing i want to discuss, based on what the episode shows, is that Vlad in general doesn't raise his voice nor threatens with hurting Danielle during the episode. Most of the time he speaks to Danielle in his usual ¨normal¨ manipulative way, similar to how he talks to Valerie. He fakes caring about Dani and ¨acts nicely¨ around her, leading her to believe that he does love her as a father would.

When he notices that Danielle had been listening to everything him and Danny had been talking about the clones, he manipulates Dani by telling her she misheard what he was saying and he wants to save her from her destabilization (gaslighting)

So when Danielle goes to capture Danny and returns to Vlad, Vlad talks about how still needs to extract the mid-morph DNA example. He asks Dani to force Danny's transformation by overshadowing him. Dani points out that the other clones that did that melted and she could get hurt because of that. Vlad insists in saying that is fine, Dani questions him again and that is when Vlad loses his patience and reveals his true nature to Danielle.

As i talked about earlier, Vlad ¨cared¨ about Danielle as how useful she could be to him. Vlad believes that Dani exists to follow his own orders, seeing her as a pawn. This is a whole theme with Vlad and how he sees people, but i don't want to get too off topic.

Dani, at hearing this, she cries for a moment before getting angry and freeing Danny from his prison and helps Danny with fight against Vlad, making the perfect clone getting destroyed in the fight. She later punches Vlad (human form) in his face, telling to stay away from Danny and some hours after she says goodbye to Danny, going around to explore the world.

The fact that Dani decided to change sides for Vlad just snapping at her makes me believe that, again, he probably didn't threaten her that way before and he mostly used subtle emotional manipulation towards her as how he does through the episode. In my personal interpretation, i think Vlad was mostly very emotionally neglectful of Dani while raising her. He likely filled her basic needs like giving her a place to sleep and food but he would ignore her most of the time, avoiding to get attached to her and his focus being in the ¨perfect¨ clone. It is what makes sense to me the most me based on their interactions in Kindred Spirits

For months Vlad acted as an absent father, not caring what happened to Danielle as, again, she wasn't useful to him. Dani would go from one place to the other, having to steal food to survive on her own. It wasn't until around the events of ¨D-stabilized¨ he looked for Dani to study her ghost-hybrid structure, since she hadn't melted and lasted longer than the other clones did.

In here Vlad sees Danielle more as ¨object¨ he is looking for to get what he wants. He doesn't care about melting down Danielle and if this destroys her completely, since his goal is to study the remains of her DNA. He refers to her as his ¨daughter¨, in way like she is his own possession and he can do whatever he pleases with her.

An interesting detail is that there is a moment that Dani hints at still seeing Vlad as her parent figure, since she asks him if he is planning on looking for something that could stabilize her structure. It is a sad moment to see because part of her still cares about Vlad in spite of how he treated her.

What Vlad does in ¨D-Stabilized¨ is where he messed up the most in his relationship with Dani. All that happened previous this episode was terrible, but this is where is at its most twisted, putting Dani in danger on purpose to get DNA from her. It is a whole different level to snapping, threaten her and being manipulative.

If you were to ask me, i think Vlad's worst sin in the series is how he treated Dani. As she is his own daughter and was someone that actually loved Vlad. He really screwed up his chance to have something he looked for so long, because of his own obsession of how the clone should be ¨perfect¨.

Having all this in mind, how them meeting again and Vlad trying to make amends with her in A Glitch in Time sequel could go?

Well, for one i think Vlad should be the one looking for Danielle if he wants to make amends with her. It would be a good idea if someone else went with him, like Danny. That way Dani could feel more sure that she isn't being lead into a trap and the other person could explain the situation to her. She could feel more secure having the word of someone who she trusts rather from Vlad's and she may give him a chance to talk to her.

From there it is rather complicated to guess what could happen. The two most common brought up options is that Dani goes to live with Vlad in his mansion or she goes to live with the Fentons (if in this context Danny's secret is out to his parents).

If it is the first option, i think it would be suitable for Vlad's character if he wants to make up for how he negleted Dani all that time post Kindred Spirits. As i have talked in other post, Danielle is Vlad's daughter and it would fit hi give a place to Dani since she is his own responsibility. Of course, this is something that she herself would have to choose, since she would have a roof and a place to stay, but also she would have to coexist with the same parent figure who mistreated her so poorly. This could lead to a lot of complicated feelings and things she probably would rather forget for a long time. It wouldn't be something easy for her to deal with.

In case of the second option, she would have to live with strangers she doesn't know about, but they would be people that she doesn't exactly have a bad history with and she would feel more secure of herself rather than living with Vlad. Danny would also be there along with maybe Jazz, so she would be with someone she considers family at least. In all, i believe she would feel more happy than staying with Masters. However, i think before she fully moved in, Jazz and Danny would have to make their parents do some changes. Jack and Maddie can be... chaotic when it comes to raising their kids, unintentionally negletful and prone to playing around with their gadgets. It would be a good idea for both of them to change some habits for Dani to be safer around the house and pay the proper enough attention to her.

Another third option some people have brought up is Dani staying with someone else, usually the Grays being a possibility. I do agree with this idea, because then Dani could live with someone she doesn't have a bad history like she does with Vlad with nor they would have a not exactly safe environment like the Fentons do. If she stays with the Grays, she would be with Valerie, who is someone she is familiar with.

If Dani chooses staying with someone else that isn't Vlad, then Vlad could help with paying the things she needs (food, education) and maybe do some visits every once in a while to check on Dani, depending if she feels like it. He would still making amends with her but keep his distance if Dani wishes for him to stay away.

One thing i think it would be good is that Dani didn't forgive Vlad or she doesn't it for a long time. If there is one character that is more entitled than anybody else to not forgive Vlad, that would be Danielle. I think it would be more than fair for her to do that and it would be great for Vlad to understand that some people won't forget the things he has done to them and he has to live with that.

In all, Vlad and Danielle's relationship has to be the most messed up of the dynamics Vlad has with other characters. I already explained that my reasoning behind this is because he is supposed to be Dani's father since he created her. If Dani shows up in AGIT sequel, it is going to be interesting to see how the two could interact and how Dani is going to react to Vlad apologizing to her for his actions. It is definitely one of the things it would cost the most for Vlad to make amends for, considering how badly he screw it up with her.

It is Lex Luther. Vlad stole a whole bunch of stuff from Cadmus as a shortcut to cloning. He was not the best at scrubbing out the data from the project it was being used for leaving a bunch of issues. One of which is that it used part of the previous sample stored as the base to create the clone.

As that was what the Cadmus project had been doing to stabilize Kryptonian DNA. Human DNA from Lex was used as the base with the second sample added to it in as large a percentage possible while staying stable. Only Vlad did not know this at all and thought the base of the program was an empty base.

He was trying to get it to do a straight clone of Danny and the system was trying to combine the two samples into one with the second sample the highest stable amount. It did not cope well with that and only even accepted it because Krytonian's have a different number of chromosomes than humans and it was treating the two samples as one huge 92 base pair against the 46 human base!

That it was able to make any clone out of that mess, even extremely unstable ones was a miracle. Vlad really missed his calling in cloning research being able to even get a clone stable enough for the system to attempt it. Well on one of the runs a sort of workaround was found by cut out a huge chunk of repeated chromosomes. That created the very first set of unstable male clones we see were in the the lab pods.

Now after that sequence run an even bigger cut that removed a lot of chromosomes flagged as repeats. Cutting nearly half of the chromosome pairs from the DNA sample. It manages to reduce the number of chromosomes to a more reasonable number. Still pretty unstable but it produced a clone that would be viable outside of the pod! For maybe a few weeks but they would be viable outside the pod.

This is the sequence run batch that Dani came from. Several of those clones were female as the repeated Y chromosomes got knocked off as extra "repeats". It also produced a lot of odd and many totally unviable sex chromosome sets in different variations of X's and Y's including just X's and Y's.

Now Dani's DNA is roughly 60% Danny's DNA, all his ghost DNA with a smattering of human. The rest of from Lex and while a little odd with more than 46 chromosome sets of a human it works. But it works but only just works. With so much cutting, splicing, and stitching together chromosomes into new sets it created a bunch of issues. Many of those between being a ghost and human were stabilized with the mid morph DNA. Frostbite is sure that if they can get a sample from the fully human donor they can get a better stabilization of her human side now that the ghost side is stable.

Danny is not sure what to think of there being another crazy billionaire obsessed with cloning. On one hand it is nice they finally have a lead on how to stabilize Dani. On the other hand where are the human clones that Lex had been working on? I mean there is almost no information they can find on any of Lex's company working on cloning outside of greenhouse plants. That and a weird amount of UV Daylight lighting fixtures the company bought for how many greenhouse he owns.

Dani has $5 on him having a creepy backup clone of himself that he wants to download his brain into to seek immortality. Danny has $5 on it being an attempt to get a perfect heir as a successor. One he won't have to either pulling a Bruce Wayne for or deal with finding a surrogate. Sam has $10 on it being an attempt to make some kind of gene therapy to add plant genes, inspired by Superman, so he won't have to eat and can survive off sunlight. Tucker has $5 on a super illegal body farm to grow clones to test high tech weapons on.

It really is unfortunate that all their searching around Lex and cloning pinged on Batman's radar. Danny sure is surprised by just how understanding both Superman and Batman were about it. Even with their hotel room in Metropolis looking like set of a heist film. He is really glad the crazy conspiracy board with the betting pool on it was on the other side of the brainstorming how to get a sample of Lex's DNA plans. Though with how pale Superman and how silent Batman went at the explanation of why they were trying to get a sample of Lex's DNA something is up.

Concept: Dani is NOT Danny's clone.

Turns out Vlad's not only bad at cloning, but he's also very bad at lab etiquette. Due to reasons, an unknown DNA sample ends up in Vlad's lab and is used for her human half.

The Phamily only finds out after they take her to the Far Frozen for a check up and a mid-morph DNA injection and it makes things worse. The Far Frozen doctors conclude that her human DNA came from a different donor, causing her instabilities and inconsistencies.

Now they have to track down the unwitting donor before Dani de-stabilizes for good. The search brings them to the turf of a different hero/villain.

If Danny Phantom Got A Reboot👻

* 2D Animation.

* The ghost concept to be dead people like it was originally. Also make less antagonistic and more like people with unfinished business. A lot of the ghosts seemed capable of having redemption. Perhaps more ghosts who become allies or atleast morally grey associated to Danny.

* The Ghost Zone explored more.

* Danny at first to see all ghosts as evil and dangerous because that’s what he was taught and eventually realize a lot of them are people like him with unresolved issues and tries to help them, later becoming allies with the majority of ghosts.

* Have Sam be etheir less judgemental/stubborn or have that be played straight and have her work on that. Maybe a bit of both. There's been a lot of criticism on her character.

* Tucker. Perhaps had been Danny's friend longer than Sam and when he becomes a ghost and they start drifting away, especially after he gets with Sam, making him feel like a third wheel.

* Sam to be a huge fan of horror stuff, ESPECIALLY Ghosts. Have her enjoy reading into legends and myths on the ghosts they face and find out their past and what could stop them. And it would give the Trio more distinct roles, Danny's the one who can fight ghosts, Tucker's the brains and one who can do tech stuff and Sam's the expert on the specific ghosts and figure out what makes them tick.

* Go into Jack’s obsession for ghost hunting. I’m rewriting Maddie here more interested in understanding ghosts rather than hunt them. It be cool to see how they got into it in the first place. Especially why Jack himself specifically hates ghosts and sees them as bad. Perhaps a traumatic experience with one when he was young.

* Jazz to use her psychology learning to try to help the ghosts with their unresolved issues.

* Have the A-Listers should more redeeming qualities. They’re still jerks but develop into better people like Valerie.

* Another thing I wanna change is Mr Lancer. I prefer him to be a jerk with a heart of gold type, him to be a stern guy but cares. He genuinely tries to help Danny and keep jerks like Dash reigned in, Dash isn’t able to get away with as much but being the school’s best player and having maybe parents that help the school or just really important, the school tends to let things slide which frustrates Lancer. With that said, he also wants to help Dash, seeing he has issues he needs to work out.

* Valerie after realizing ghosts aren’t all that evil, help Danny take the badder ones down. Also her dad joins the Fenton’s family and get financial stability back. Perhaps she bonds with Jack about realizing not all ghosts are evil.

* Vlad.

Make it not about trying to get back on Jack by taking his family and destroying Danny. Backstory change. Have it stay almost the same(Jack accidentally opens the portal, hurting Vlad and making him a ghost). Jack wanted to defeat ghosts, where as Vlad felt the ghosts could be used to help humankind under their control. Jack thought was too risky while Vlad felt Jack was overlooking the bigger picture and paranoid They. They had a fight and in the heat of things accidentally opened the unstable portal, causing Vlad to take the brunt of it. Jack tried to reach out to him but the damage was done and things were over. Jack's been haunted ever since by that. Years alone, dealing with the ghost affects made Vlad bitter and stubborn. His motive is to continue and what he wanted to do and show Jack wrong, in the process trying to control things he shouldn’t and going down a dark path. 

I want it to be more personal between him and Jack, and more so sees Maddie as a potential ally in hopes she can get Jack to help him. Tbh I want Vlad and Jack to have ex vibes.

Vlad-Join me Danny, ur father will never accept u! He’ll only reject and leave u with a bitter and broken heart. 

Danny-…When u said u and my dad were ex-partners, did u mean lab partners or…

Vlad-Ok this got akward, LETS BRAWL!

He still grows a soft spot for Danny and sees him as a son, wanting to take him under his wing, to embrace his ghost side.  At the end I want him to realize just how much he put everyone in danger for his goals and reconcile with Jack, both seeing each other’s perspectives and no longer resenting him for the accident, becoming an ally of not just Danny but the Fenton family as whole. This version he still does crazy things but isn't as bad and more dark gray. I see him develop into being better from Danielle’s influence, caring for her in this version.

* Perhaps Jack, Maddie and Vlad could be a dark parallel to Danny, Sam and Tucker, what could happen if Danny closed himself off from everyone, if they didn't fully listen to each other, let their pride get the better of them. The tension's more between Jack and Vlad but Maddie was affected by what happened between the Trio and tried to be the tired peacemaker but just couldn't keep it together.

* WES!!!!!!

* Have Maddie be more interested from a scientist perspective, while Jack’s more obsessed with the ghosts. Perhaps at first she was sceptical but perhaps after meeting Jack and him showing his work to her as well as a IRL experience, makes Maddie curious and want to know more with him. She still continues with other scientific explorations and makes inventions outside of ghost hunting, especially to pay for expenses, but her main interest is in the ghost discovery. At first she assumes ghosts are more like creatures seeping into their world. When she realizes though Ghosts are genuine people and that her own sons a ghost, try safer, non dissection stuff on ghosts.

* Have more struggle about Danny being a halfa. Have that talked about more. Perhaps for an arc he realizes whether he's Fenton or Phantom he'll always be Danny.

* It was said Jack's family has been through the Salem trials, perhaps someone was wrongfully accused as a witch and killed, thanks to one of Jack's ancestors and wants revenge. Perhaps they make Jack realize his own mistakes of letting fear cloud his judgment and hurting people based on ideas based on fear and how he endangered his own son because of his fear of ghosts, thinking they're all evil.

* Perhaps when Jack and Maddie find out about Danny being half Ghost, Jack and Maddie make a vow to never hunt any ghosts, giving up their hunting career and become overprotective of Danny. They'd realize their work can still do good, especially for the more dangerous ghosts. They just try less extreme methods.

* The guys in white to have more screen time.

* Have better build up of a big bad hinted throughout the series for an epic final battle. Maybe Pariah. Say Vlad in his pursuit of ultimate power over the ghostly forces, accidentally unleashed Pariah or some other big threat for an epic finale. I feel like Pariah should’ve had bigger impact.

* Dark Danny.

* Have less emphasis on Danny/Sam hint.

Danny Phantom AU where Vlad gets outed as half-ghost to the world (easiest scenario is Val narcs on him after she discovers his secret in D-Stabilized). He has everyone knocking on his door: police, ghost hunters, scientists, all trying to get a piece of him. Vlad was going to run, to abandon his life and start over anonymously. But then he catches sight of Danny and realizes the younger half-ghost is downright terrified. With Vlad’s secret out, their mutually assured destruction agreement is null and void. He can out Danny at any point, probably should as it would take a great deal of the heat off of him. The poor boy is literally sick with fear and worry, go bag ready to run at any moment. If Vlad left now, then Danny would drag that weighty fear with him for the rest of his life.

And it makes Vlad pause. Danny has been the object of his obsession for a while, he’s seen the kid annoyed, seen him angry, seen him cocky. But he doesn’t much like the look of helpless, shivering terror. So Vlad makes an unselfish decision for the first time in years, he plants his feet and he stays. Jack and Maddie jump to his defense and keep the worst of the hunters and scientists away. He spends millions on lawyers to keep himself out jails and labs. He lets tests be run and questions asks and submits himself to uncomfortable scrutiny. But it’s worth it to see the fearful edge slip off of Danny’s shoulders as he realizes that Vlad isn’t going to forcibly expose him.

When all is said and done, he’s to serve some time monitored by the Fentons. He moves into the guest bedroom with an anti-ghost ankle bracelet on and wonders why he went to so much trouble. But Danny shyly pokes his head in, arms crossed defensively and eyes down and quietly thanks Vlad for not exposing him. He asks if maybe he can sit in on some of the discussions and tests his parents will run. He wonders if maybe he can ask some questions of his own. It’s the olive branch Vlad has always wanted, the chance to forge a meaningful bond with the boy beyond arch nemesis. Amazing all it took was some bravery and looking beyond his own interests. 

Jack and Maddie can’t explain why Danny, who used to hate Vlad with a passion now frequently seeks their new houseguest out. They don’t comprehend the look of total and complete understanding the two of them will occasionally share. And if Vlad gently and patiently lays out the foundation that will let Danny safely reveal himself and Danny makes sure his overeager parents don’t go too far into their tests, well that’s simply coincidence. And the two half ghosts find themselves happier than they had been before the whole debacle. Plasmius was a ghost once feared and reviled, now he is just good old Uncle Vlad, co-haunting Amity Park alongside town hero, Danny Phantom. Sometimes if you look up in the sky, you can see them smiling at each other, like they have a secret just between the two of them.

This is for plot reasons

The drakes are the god parents for both Danny and Jazz and the Fentons for Tim.

Vlad you may ask? Not an official godparent but he likes to pretend he is. Still obsessed with Danny unfortunately

Fentons are new money and don’t really interact with high society, got the money due to inventions— Fentonworks is a business that works closely with the Drakes business

This isn’t well known locally, to amity they are just the crazy, wacky Fentons

Maddie is a black belt, taught all of the kids some moves

Giving Tim a foundation for robin activities ( and Danny for Phantom ones)

This is where the plot would really begin

The GIW has created a blackout, no news from either side. Tim usually visits in the summers and is trying to set up an arrival date

They never answer

This would be after Bruce has already adopted Tim of course ( Damian hasn’t been there long, and let’s have Bruce back from the time stream already) . The drakes have already been arrested for neglect and whatnot

Clues in that the Fentons should be too but whatever

They were just slightly negligent when they were younger, but as they got more enthralled with ghosts, they started to get on the Drakes level of parenting. Once the portal got open, they left neglectful and went full mad scientist. 

When Tim can’t get in touch he goes “fuck it” and visits any way

( I don’t remember the order of events the best but, after Pariahs defeat ( GHOST PRINCE DANNY ) and Ellie has just been stabilized)

Danny is relieved to see him once he sneaks in

Danny clocked him as the new robin after seeing a video on YouTube or whatever, of something Maddie taught them. Danny has spared with that boy for YEARS. It was an easy deduction

Sam and Tucker don’t know about Danny, they didn’t see the accident but they know he got hurt. They weren’t allowed in the lab. Jazz knows tho for the same reasons they both know about Tim

Tim finds out about GIW and Danny’s accident. Anti ecto acts haven’t been passed. The GIW doesn’t exist, so who are they?

Tim sees the destruction they cause and the racism ( xenophobia? speciesism? I don’t know the right word) the Fentons have subscribed to and is like “ hell no. You’re coming home with me”

Convinces Fentons to let Jazz and Danny go back with him to Gotham so they can get Danny to safety and investigate

Tim is either a cousin to Danny or they are god brothers. Janet and Maddie are sorority sisters who made each other god parents to each other kids or they are actual sisters.

-Tim is younger then Danny

-Tim spent time with the Fentons in the summer, because while Janet and Jack could justify leaving Tim home alone with just a housekeeper during the rest of the year because of school. He spent his summer vacations in Amity Park. This still happens after Tim becomes Robin

-Tim knows all about Danny being Phantom and ghosts and vice versa with Danny knowing about when Tim becomes Robin

-The Drakes and the Fentons are not bad parents they just get really involved with their specialties and are big believers in raising independent children. (Also a reveal gone right)

-Also when Jack finds out about Tim being Robin, he calls Fenton for advice. After the talk Jack allows Tim to still be robin but with more ground rules and the Fenton's make him gadgets

-Tim doesn't actually have to invent an Uncle to dissuade Bruce from adopting him or making him live with him. While the Fentons would love for Tim to come live with them they understand the Gotham is his home and help him set up his own place. There are also promises to still have summer visits.

-Tim get family support when the Bruce goes missing in the time stream and Dick takes away his mantel of Robin and gives it to Damian

-Danny and the others help Tim come up with a new identity other than Red Robin. Danny takes Tim into the GZ to have his new uniform made (making it magic resistant and more durable than other mortal material).

Phasmophobia

Danny was very sick of tourists coming to explore Amity park. Like very sick of them, especially the ‘ghost hunter’ ones. In the end they just caused more problems than the actual ghosts, getting in the way of the fights causing Danny more stress and injuries than normal. Not to mention they sucked at their so called jobs. He was pretty sure even a single elementary schooler of Amity was a better ghost fighter than all of the tourists combined.

But at the moment it was the dead of winter and probably one of the coldest weeks of the year. So only the stupidest of self proclaimed ghost hunters would venture out to hunt ghosts in weather like this. While it was nice not having to worry about danger prone tourists Danny still was miserable, he could deal with the cold just fine in fact he preferred the cold. The problem was that It was the holiday season, the worst time of the year. At least the ghost attacks were less frequent as they all prepared for the Christmas truce party.

Still he supposed it could be worse. His parents weren’t fighting as much this year, though that was probably due to the fact they were still treating him like he was made of glass half of the time after he told them about the whole half dead thing. Danny figured that was due to the fact they blamed themselves for the portal incident, causing them to coddle him to an almost tortuous degree. It was as if they expected him to disappear if he was so much as bumped in the wrong way. It had gotten a bit better at this point at least, if things continued as it did at the beginning Danny was pretty sure he’d rather have them still be shooting at him. Now they only tensed up when he left the house instead of not so subtly stalking him all day.

At the moment Danny was sitting on the counter in the kitchen with his mom while she was cooking dinner. “Danny dear get off the counter that’s where the food goes not you.” Maddie said shooing him off the counter with a spatula.

Danny floated off in a huff, “This is ghostphobic mom. The counter is a perfect seat.”

Maddie rolled her eyes, “The term would be phasmophobic, and no it’s not it’s; I don’t want your butt all over where I’m making our dinner-phobic.”

“Fine transphobic then.”

“How about asking you to set the table? What would that be?”

Danny mulled it over for a few seconds. “A reasonable request I suppose.” He phased his hands though the cabinets grabbing the plates. Honestly he could have just as easily grabbed them normally but he was still trying to get his parents used to him having powers. “Oh by the way Sam, Tucker, and I are hanging out tomorrow to celebrate winter break starting and school being out for two whole weeks.” “Alright sweetie, but be safe okay?”

“Of course I will be mom.”

“I mean it Danny, please.”

Danny sighed “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to text you regularly to let you know I’m safe. I’ll be fine and stay out of trouble, I promise” Maddie nodded seemingly plated at least for the time being.

The next day Danny was really regretting making that promise. The day started out so well too. Danny, Sam, and Tucker were walking along the park trail. Danny was walking a few steps in front of the other two, subtly making the path easier with his powers. The only people out insane enough to bear the cold were people who had to go to work and teens who were bored out of their minds.

“All I’m saying Danny is that if you want to choose that class you should choose a race other than human for once. Hellspawn would be the best option in your case.” Tucker argued.

“Says the dude playing the race for furries.” Danny shot back turning his head to look back at his friend.

“Hey! The beastmen race is a perfect fit for my class, they have an exp boost for trickery and magic skills  it’s the best for playing a character who mains in ambushing with traps.

“Boys boys stop arguing. Danny will be fine playing as a human he’s just gonna have to spend more time grinding. Also he’s right, beastmen are so the furry option.” Sam cut in.

“Whatever, I just don’t understand why he always plays the most boring race in every game he plays. I mean why would you want to play as a human when you could be a fantasy race like an elf or something.”

“Well that’s easy for you and Sam to say you both are still hum-,” Danny was cut off mid sentence by his ghost sense and a glowing red circle surrounding the group. He hardly had a chance to go ghost before being fully enveloped by the light.

When Danny was finally oriented enough to open his eyes he vowed to never complain about getting motion sick while his dad was driving again if it meant he would never have to go through that awful experience again. It felt like getting sucked into the Fenton Thermos if it was the size of a straw and being spun in a blender all at the same time. He looked around seeing if his friends were brought along with him. And just his luck, of course they got pulled through whatever the hell that was too.

“Ugh, you guys okay?” He closed his eyes again and focused on stabilizing his core and getting the last of the nausea to leave.

“Bleh I think I’m gonna hurl.” Sam groaned from beside him.

Danny heard Tucker shift beside him. “Yeah I’m good, I guess all that time staying up late playing VR games kinda helped against motion sickness. Landed on my arm though so definitely going to bruise later. Where are we anyway?”

That actually was a good question, Danny lifted himself off the ground literally, using legs to stand was lame anyway. The sight he was met with was both confusing and surprising. Looking down he saw that the three of them were in some sort of red magic circle or something, with candles lit around it. Looking past that was the part that was surprising. He was expecting this to be the work of a ghost but standing in a circle around the three of them were six  humans in different colored robes. He couldn’t recognize any of them though, they must have been from out of town or just total shut ins. He was pretty sure he recognized where they were though, it was the basement of an abandoned building next to the mall, Sam was super into urban exploring the year before and it was one of the first places she dragged the two boys to.

“Haha uhh hey didn’t know there was a costume party going on, I would have dressed up, looks like you got all the colored robe thing going on though. Would my hazmat suit work instead of a robe?” Danny looked at the group around him and cracked an uneasy smile. Maybe it was some sort of accidental ghost summoning or something, it wouldn’t be the first time. Though the fact it brought his friends along pointed to it either being on purpose or something much more powerful, or both.

The man in the black robe turned to a woman in a white one. “Why did the spell bring two kids along with it .”

Danny tried to ignore being called an ‘it’ not like his parents didn’t do it before they knew about his identity. “I’m not the murder clown and I do have a name you know.” But his words seemed to fall onto deaf ears.

“I did the calculations right if that’s what you’re trying to imply, as you can see the subject did appear in the circle as planned. We probably just underestimated how much power the sacrifice would provide with the addition of the solstice.” White robe snapped. Great, this was totally just what Danny needed at the start of his winter break. Not only did they seem like ghost hunters they were the crazy obsessed culty ones.

“Either way the goal was achieved in the end, we have the ghost boy.” Black robe pointed to two men, one in yellow and one in blue robes. “Take care of the two bystanders, but don’t kill them. After all we shouldn’t kill our soon to be followers.” Yeah that wasn’t concerning at all Danny thought.

The one in the yellow grabbed Sam and the one in the blue grabbed Tucker at the black robed man's command. Danny assumed that probably meant the black robed one was the one in charge here. “Hey! Get your hands off me you freaks!” Sam yelled, struggling against the man’s grip.

But Danny’s friends didn’t have a chance against people twice their size. Before either of them could struggle more the two men slammed their heads to the ground in almost unison, knocking them out almost instantly. It happened so fast all Danny would do is watch on in horror. He felt like he watched their now limp bodies for ages, their chests shallowly rising at least giving him the relief of knowing they were still alive. But the sight of small puddles of blood forming around their heads snapped him out of his horror and into a rage.

Danny placed his feet to the ground turning to look at the two in the black and white robes. “Why?” He seethed, “You said they were accidentally brought along when you were trying to get me here. Technically in a way this falls onto me. So tell me, why?”

The man in the black robe seemed taken aback from being confronted so suddenly. The woman in white didn’t seem to have the same problem, maybe they both were in charge? Honestly though Danny didn’t care at this point. “We will take over the little town you haunt. After we do that we will find out where all the ghosts are originating from and then make them into our soldiers so we can take over the country and then the world. To do that we obviously needed you out of the way since you seem to be the only one capable of combating the other ghosts that come into this world. Or you would just defeat our pawns before they could take true action. So we found a way to summon and trap ghosts, then brought you here so we could get you out of our way.”

Honestly Danny was disappointed hearing that more than anything, his rage almost completely disappeared after hearing the plan. “Hold up that is the stupidest plan I have ever heard.” And that was saying something seeing as he dealt with Vlad's plans on a weekly basis. “First off you do realize it would be very hard to get or even force ghosts into your service if you don’t offer them, anything in return. Not to mention how some ghosts have almost godlike powers and you expect to overpower them? Also I am not even close to the only one who can fight ghosts. Everyone in Amity Park has at least some know how when it comes to ghost fighting. They sell basic ghost protection equipment at the supermarket. I just happen to be better suited than everyone else because I y’know can like fly and go intangible when chasing them. Using ghosts to take over the world is so stupid do you even know how to properly catch a ghost? Seriously this is like next level dumb, not to mention how did you even know the summoning would work if it didn't you’d just all be standing in a darkly lit room looking dumber than you already do.”

That seemed to anger the white one a lot. Apparently she didn’t like her intelligence questioned. “Why you little-.” She stomped her foot. “This plan was thought through down to the smallest detail. You want to know how it worked huh? How about asking your friend over there. I wonder what happens when the dead are killed? You will find out soon enough.”

Danny looked over to where we gestured and his refound taunting attitude vanished. Laying over in the corner inside a smaller less complex looking circle was a ghost or the ectoplasmic remains of one at least, the core was completely destroyed. Judging by the fact that the ectoplasm was red it probably had a fire core before it was destroyed. From the lingering ecto signature Danny doubted the ghost was even sapient. It was most likely the remains of something like a blob ghost or the ghost of an animal or even a weaker ectopus. Still all he could do was stare at the remains in horror.

“Of course summoning you was harder so we used that thing for its ghost energy to help power the circle. Instead of chalk we used it’s ectoplasm to ensure the strength and longevity of the seal to hold you in the circle.” The woman smiled as if she achieved something great. Achieve something she did indeed, but it certainly was not what she intended.

The rage Danny felt before came back in full force. Before with his friends he at least knew they would recover, all three of them got injured fighting ghosts more often than they should. But to injure a ghost to the point where not even their core remained was something so taboo that only the most despicable ghosts would do. Even Skulker kept the cores of his prey stable enough not to fade away completely. A ghost's form could be completely destroyed but as long as their core remained they would reform back where they first formed in the Ghost Zone. The only ghosts Danny could think of who would go out of their way to destroy a core were some of the ancients like Pariah Dark or Nocturne.

Danny finally managed to tear his eyes away from the ghost's remains to lock eyes with the woman. She and the black robed man took a step back out of instinct. Looking into his eyes they felt the feeling every animal of prey felt when it knew it was being watched, being hunted. The temperature in the room dropped and frost started to crawl across the walls. Danny took a step towards the two leaders before pausing to reconsider and turning and starting towards the two men standing above his friends.

Then men in yellow and blue robes looked to the man in black for guidance, unsure of what action to take. He looked uncertain as well but shook his head. “There’s no way it can pass through the seal, we tested it.���

Danny's eyes flicked over to the man then back to the two who hurt his friends and gave them a predatory grin, his teeth now looking slightly sharper than usual. He made no sound as he stepped over the circle with ease closer and closer to the two men. They both reached for their weapons, small bats, apparently they were the muscle of the group, and swung at the approaching ghost. Danny simply went intangible causing the two to overswing and hit each other instead, knocking the wind out of them both and causing them to drop their bats. While they were catching their breath Danny grabbed them by their hair and knocked their heads together. Their bodies crumbled to the floor just a few inches from the teens they did the same to just minutes before.

The one who had yet to say or do anything, dressed in red, made her way towards Danny while his back was towards her. Just as she got within arms reach of him she slipped and fell. The temperature had dropped even more at this point causing the ground surrounding Danny to ice over. Danny hardly acknowledged the large thud behind him simply trapping the fallen woman up to her neck in ice as he walked past and headed towards his final two targets.

When first summoned by the group Danny could, within reason, probably be passed off as a weirdish looking human excluding the glow around him. But now as he stalked towards his prey that was no longer the case. His chest no longer moved like it was breathing. His feet made no sound as they made contact with the ground. His eyes, non-blinking, no longer had pupils or even whites to them just a void of endless ectoplasmic green. His ears were pointed almost bat like. The tips of which, along with his lips, were tinted blue. His hair, normally white like snow, now was just the white that came from complete absence of any color. The hair was defying gravity almost as if it was underwater while smoke like wisps trailed off from his hair as he moved. His mouth was twisted into an emotionless smile splitting through his cheeks showing needle like teeth all the way back to where his molars would have been, there was no tongue or throat behind them, just another endless green void. The skin of his neck that was showing past the hazmat suit was marked with lightning like scars. The glow around him seemed to absorb all the light in the room.

The man in the black robe looked between the approaching horror and his partner before running towards the exit. Danny moved so fast it was almost as if he materialized right in front of the man. The man stumbled back falling down in shock but still tried to scramble away from him crossing his chest as he did so. Just as Danny started to raise his arm towards the man he paused and lurched back.

He looked down at his chest where an ornate knife was now lodged. Holding onto the hilt was the woman, she gave the knife a final twist before letting go and herding her partner into the corner farthest away from Danny. Danny showed no pain as he grabbed the knife and pulled it out, the blade was dripping with ectoplasm, and dropped it on the ground. The wound in his chest already healing, filling with more ectoplasm to replace what was lost.

The smile that was marring Danny’s face was replaced with a scowl as he made his way towards the corner where the two were cowering. Placing a hand on their necks he lifted them both up against the wall and started slowly burning their skin with an ectoblast. He let them go, letting them fall to the ground only when their screams of pain turned silent as crushed vocal cords and burnt throat muscles took their toll. Both cult leaders looked up at him in horror faces pale. "What's wrong?" Danny smiled, "It looks like you've seen a ghost."

The woman looked at him in fear as she grasped at the raw skin of her throat, which now was covered in blisters and charred in some of the worst places. “Wha-, what, what are you?” She managed to rasp out before coughing up some blood.

Danny let out a dark chuckle, his voice echoed over itself. “I-,” he snarled, “am a Phantom .”

After Danny sent an anonymous tip to the police about the cult, he brought his friends back to his house. Of course his mom freaked out after he stopped responding to her texts and even more when he phased into the living room with an unconscious Sam and Tucker. He was pretty sure she was about to break out the BOOmerang if she didn’t hear from him for much longer. She was more than willing to take the two of them to the hospital to get them checked out.

Danny made a quick stop into the ghost zone to tell Clockwork to spread the word to other ghosts to be on alert and that there were humans that were trying to summon and capture ghosts. After telling Clockwork what happened, in much more detail than the briefest summary he gave his mom, including how he probably went a bit overboard with dealing with the cultists. He also admitted he didn't regret it even if he did go overboard. They hurt his friends and caused a ghost to completely fade, and in Danny’s opinion they deserve whatever came to them. The whole story caused Clockwork to also start fretting over him making sure to let Danny know that his reaction was a completely normal response to someone threatening something that falls within his obsession especially since it happened in his haunt of all places. Danny swore that his ghostly mentor could be worse than his own parents sometimes especially when it came to reassuring him about his more ghostly tendencies.  

Luckily after being released from the hospital it turned out the worst Sam and Tucker suffered were concussions that would heal in a decently short amount of time. That didn’t mean they weren’t complaining about it though.

“Stop laughing about my suffering Danny! I won’t be able to start playing Fantasy War Online VII until my two week tech restriction is lifted by my doctor. It was bad enough I had to go to a hospital but to be taken away from my lovely devices as well is just too much.” Tucker lamented.  

“Quit complaining and suck it up. I’m on the restriction too Tucker.” Sam pointed out.

Tucker huffed. “Yeah well you’ll probably manage to catch up to all the people who are getting it on release day easily, since you’re scarily good at MMO’s.” He flopped back onto Danny’s bed. “Hey at least this gives us more time to convince Danny to play something other than a human for once in his life. Like I said before the hellspawn is the perfect race for the build you’re going for.”

Danny just rolled his eyes. “And like I said before, I like being a human.” “Whatever dude just don’t complain when I utterly beat you if we end up fighting because you wanted to be the lamest most boring race ever.”

Danny shrugged. “Somehow I’ll cope, I just think it’s nice to be seen as normal and not scary.”

Sam laughed. “Danny you are the least scary person like to ever exist. The only things scary about you are your grades and your wacky parents. I doubt you could be scary if you tried.”

Danny looked out the window watching the stars as they started to appear in the sky. “...Yeah I guess you’re right.”

Some Danny Phantom Headcanons of mine

That I may or may not use in future fanfictions.

During his time as a human on earth, Walker founded the Guys in White as a means of "efficiently" dealing with ghosts. Walker would die during a prison riot in the year 1916. He never got a chance to meet his grandkids or grand nieces.

Ghosts that had lives on Earth, hold very little recollection of their time. The vague memories build most of their personalities, influencing their powers, ghost cores, planes in the Ghost Zone, etc. It's unknown (or is it!? ;)) what exactly happens to ghosts that gain all their lost memories, but most don't desire to learn them.

The strongest power a ghost can have is reflective of how they died. This is known as "Ghost Core Breaking". Hence why Danny's strongest ghost power is the Ghostly Wail. He was screaming while inside the Ghost Portal. It's also why he passes out when using it sometimes.

The first known ghost portal was invented during WW2. The research was lost and most files were destroyed. Until some were found again one day by Jack Fenton.

Ghost hunting technology increased during WW2. With a project labeled "Sojurn's Tempest" being only known to a select few individuals.

Sam and Tucker had only a 70/30 chance of dying versus becoming half ghosts of they were in Danny's place. Danny on the other hand, had only no chance if dying fully in the Ghost Portal. A fact that carries over to Vlad Masters. And Jack Fenton in an alternate timeline. Neither are aware of the fact yet.

Ghost hunting technology has been around since the 1880s. More mystical and magical practices have been around since early civilizations.

Casper High has actually a very low mortality rate.

Other halfas have been around throughout human history. Some due to the natural Ghost Portals, some due to other reasons.

Why do natural ghosts coexist with ghosts that had lives on Earth? The Ghost Zone is the remains a dead universe. For example, Time itself "died" and Clockwork came into existence.

Johnny 13 and Kitty both died during the 1950s while on a ride on Johnny's motorcycle. Shadow is a natural ghost. Who may or may not be responsible.

Freakshow did in fact know Lydia during her human life and shared a romantic relationship with her.

Jazz doesn't believe any of Danny's adventures with the Nicktoons for a second.

Maddie has a couple of cousins, but they are in very little contact with each other.

Nicholai Technus had a Tech company during his life on Earth. His grandkid has some interest in reopening up the company.

Ember not her real name, just a theme for one of her songs and Mr. Lancer did in fact go to Casper High together. They weren't exactly "friends" but he was nice to her. He feels some guilt over her not finishing High School and being largely ignored by teachers. Influencing his position as a better teacher than the ones they had.

Danny has yet to "summon" his place in the Ghost Zone, due to not coming to grips with who he is yet.

Dani has been on some adventures of her own around the world. She's decided to change her name after realizing she needs an identity outside of Danny. She's even befriended Youngblood.

The Ecto Black Holes are to blame for all the natural Ghost Portals, due to their destructive nature.

Sojurn and Clockwork are friends.

The Unworld is inhabited by ghosts that slowly fade into nothing more than words and thoughts. Once completed faded, the ghosts reincarnate.

The Elsewhereness is immediately reached by people that have no ties or anything holding them back when they die.

Lunch Lady did in fact work at Casper High during her human years.

Jazz would've been a halfa if she was in Danny's position.

Box Ghost's death was being crushed under a bunch of boxes. During his time as a human, he was trying to find someone in a box.

In terms of halfas being able to produce children, there's a high chance they would die. They already use enough energy to stabilize their bodies.

Or maybe halfas can choose to pass on their ghost half or not. It's very up in the air.

Poindexter's parents did sue Casper High when he died. The high school is not the most popular in America.

Sam's parents might not be hers.

If Danny were to get his own realm in the Ghost Zone, it would be a floating city surrounded by moon sized planetoids. Each Planetoid would house something something relating to Danny on a personal level.

The Ghost of Space is intrigued by Danny, but tells Clockwork repeatedly that he has yet to be fully impressed by the Ghost Boy. A meeting in the future?

Yes, Danny has powers relating to space. He has yet to awaken them yet, as his status as a halfa never made him think if he had two ghost cores.

There used to be multiple Ghost Kings and Queens, but Pariah Dark made sure to dispose of them.

The Fright Knight used to be in charge of transporting souls to the Ghost Zone, but he has since left that duty.

Valerie's mom is a very... tough subject. Mostly cause Valerie isn't aware she faked her death.

Skulker was a ghost hunter in his youth during his human life.

Youngblood during his human life, grew up in an orphanage watching other kids play and get adopted. Pretending to be a pirate to take his mind off of things. Fueling his resentment and obsession as a ghost.

Danny is obsessed with saving and helping people. He's not aware of it yet.

Ghostwriter died choking on a Christmas sugar cookie, just before he got a chance to finish his masterpiece.

Vlad's obsession is perfection and ruling over everyone with an iron fist.

If Danny were to ever get weapons, they would definitely be knives (or some variant) as he is more of a close range brawler.

Magic definitely exists in the DPverse.

Danny's ghost half is purely ectoplasm from the Ghost Zone. Not from another ghost. Little does he know, he's giving it a bit more sentience each and every day.

Or maybe he's secretly related to another ghost we have yet to meet. Maybe the Ghost Zone is secret sentient? Who knows?
