#and those be the fans who have the most complaints when Bonnie fans say she should’ve ditched MF and told them to kiss her ass but yeah

“It does Bonnie's character a disservice to rob her of her agency and make her the victim of every situation”
EVERY SITUATION? bruh 😭💀
my mouth dropped when i read that on their reply 😭 the audacity is insane? bonnie never gets to be seen as the victim of anything, she just has to immediately get back to work helping her ‘friends’. like bffr??? we all wax poetic about things elena and caroline are victims of (and sometimes rightfully so because elena goes through a lot of trauma and imo a bad relationship, and then there’s caroline’s abuse from #him in season 1) but the second someone talks about ways bonnie is mistreated…? or could’ve been treated better? or how the writing didn’t care about her or her losing her dad and even her life (which was for jeremy btw 😭 who at this point has cheated on her and they didn’t properly rekindle their friendship after because the writers didn’t care to devote screentime to that)
Arguing you don’t understand why fans consider Elena and Caroline as bad friends in that moment then after given a proper reasoning saying I did Bonnie a disservice and robbed her of her agency.. so much anti blackness and audacity…There is no excuse. The misogynoir leaped in the most disgusting way possible.
Bonnie isn’t allowed to be a victim and she isn’t granted space to be a villain either. She’s punished whether she does or doesn’t help. There are many articles, videos, metas and more dedicated to how Bonnie and Kat were so throughly mistreated from Bonnie to her family members at the hands of the writers.
There’s a reason why a new generation of black fantasy authors, script writers, etc etc exist because those black fans had to endure 8 years of racism subjected to the one black woman lead in the show(and fans of course). There aren’t a lot of black women in the fantasy/vampire genre, and for a while Bonnie was all people had. Especially with 8 seasons worth of content. What some fans reply with tells you exactly how they see black women and people IRL. Bonnie is fictional, but those narrative do apply to black women and people.
That user and their bestie are racist and anti-black. What was so hysterical about black fans explaining to you why that plot was poorly handled? How racism and anti-blackness was ingrained in that plot that’s funny to y’all? What’s even more distasteful is the Plecverse writers are responsible but it is me, according to them, a black woman who stripped Bonnie of her agency and made her a victim in everything.
They could’ve used Rudy’s death to help everyone realize something was up with Bonnie. They could’ve made Jeremy coming back about Bonnie’s love for him not Elena’s needs. There’s a lot of woulda, couldas in there but they didn’t. There was no respect to Bonnie and her black father yet a season later Caroline had everyone camped out with her after Liz died due to natural causes. Rudy couldn’t even die naturally, he had to be murdered in front of everyone while he praised Bonnie. It was brutal as hell to Bonnie and that makes her a victim.
I hope we are in a better space in the future that protects black actors and actresses from fans like this. Same for the fans, more people speaking out when they see it will help.
If you are uncomfortable with the discussions of race you need to check your privilege or admit you’re probably racist period. Black women shouldn’t be seen as vessels for white women because that’s exactly how they viewed Bonnie in their replies.
Thank you for being kind 💜💜

RUIN Theory! - Cassie and Micheal
Spoilers for RUIN, we’re focusing on Cassie and who—or what—she is in this one. .
.
.
.
.
.
I can already see the hate from the “what she is” statement, and trust me, I’m not the biggest fan of it either, but it seems to be a theme in the books and it has some interesting connections in RUIN.
The first thing that caught my attention is a weird contradiction that I noticed with the description of the foxy plush and the menu when you’re near the log ride. Cassie’s description for the foxy plush is her saying how the log ride was so much fun, which, okay, that isn’t odd or concerning. But the menu says that “They never did finish the Foxy log ride. Safety Concerns.” Given the fact that the menu says things like “Don’t think, just do it.” along with other suspicious sentences, we can assume that this is the yellow eyes/purple vein Helpi and/or the animatronic in the basement. So Cassie has apparently ridden the log ride before, but Helpi knows it was shut down early. In addition, there is a decapitated bot on the inactive log ride, which suggests that either the ceiling was way too low or that the speeds were too high—their heads pop off fairly easily (you can see this the one that falls with the shelf in front of Cassie). That to me says that she died on that ride, or that she had some sort of fake memories implanted in her head. She could still be a human if the memories were implanted just going off all the extensive tech we see, but I feel like it’s more plausible that she’s a robot.
So who is Cassie’s dad? Through the descriptions of collectibles, we can learn that he likes Bonnie and collects antique Fazbear merch. We also learn that he was (or is) an engineer/technician for Fazbear. I’ve seen a few people theorize that William Afton is her father, which wouldn’t surprise me, given his “I always come back” motto, but I don’t think that’s the case. There’s a few things that got me thinking, including the sister location TV room in Security Breach. Micheal. It would make sense for him to have some ancient Fazbear stuff since he’s existed for a while and witnessed most of it. It would also make sense for Roxy being the one protecting Cassie. Micheal (or Foxybro, if you believe that theory) has been associated with Foxy, and since Roxanne is the closest animatronic to Foxy, I feel it matches up. And, since there aren’t many (if any) human workers in the plex, so odor probably wouldn’t be a problem. If he’s a technician, then he wouldn’t be interacting with customers, so they wouldn’t be able to file a complaint as well (even then, I don’t think Fazbear would care too much). The only thing that might be a bump in the road is Micheal preferring Bonnie, but we could also chalk that up to him still caring for William. I mean, he was his dad. Those feelings don’t just go away, no matter how terrible of a person he was. Just a thought.
Side note: there are purple glitches, most notably in the MXES Entity, that are helpful, or at least trying to keep the animatronic in the basement in the basement. That could possibly be Micheal’s work, since he is associated with the color purple like William.

Under Your Skin
Happy B’Day, @galvanizedfriend I am LATE, soooo LATE but this means the birthday celebrations just continue, right? I have a friend who celebrates her birthday for the whole month so....
I made you a little thing in honour of this auspicious occasion (also, please tell me you got cake on the day, otherwise I will send you some lamingtons). This is part 1 with part 2 on its way.
Thank you also to the lovely and talented @diaz-eddie for making sense of my pics and putting them together when I couldn’t.
(Nik)
Monday
“Get your ass out here pronto, Nik!”
Who needs the snooze button when his employee is threatening to knock down the door with nothing but her fist. He’s seen Anna in action on her roller derby team and is fairly certain she can kick his ass today and probably into next week as well.
He begrudgingly leaves the warmth and comfort of his bed dressed in nothing but fitted, grey boxers but instead of answering the door he decides to make a detour. Eyes still firmly closed, he makes his way blindly to the bathroom and splashes some much-needed water on his face at the basin.
“You realise we can hear you, right? There’s no amount of pampering that’s going to make that face pretty enough, Niklaus,” he winces, knowing she’s using the full version of his name to invoke his absent sister on purpose.
Apparently Anna has recruited Lexi to torment him as well. Given her mixed martial arts training he doesn’t want to mess with her either. All he needs now is…
“Afraid of some girls, Mikaelson?”
Like clockwork, Bonnie makes up the trio. Given her psychic abilities of course she knows he’s afraid of them. She practices magic, probably has a list of his future mistakes documented for blackmail purposes and may or may not have a voodoo doll with his name on it.
Growing up he thought having Rebekah as a sibling was tough but now he has three more and all are ready to converge on him as soon as he opens the door. It’s lucky he decided against giving them keys. Granted he’s their boss and lives upstairs from his establishment but Nik isn’t a fan of the sleeping with one eye open concept.
“We have an incredibly opinionated, talkative and highly-strung person who would like to make a formal complaint to the owner about a certain tattoo from the weekend. Also, Enzo called her gorgeous and let’s just say it didn’t go down too well.”
“Oi! I can hear you, Bennett, given I’m standing right here. In my defence, Niklaus, she is gorgeous and what woman doesn’t love a compliment?”
His friend from college in Rhode Island, while being extremely talented, has little-to-no customer service skills. Nik also, rather unfortunately, noticed a spark between him and his younger sister during her last visit and has been trying to block it from his memory ever since.
“Uh, when they’re making a complaint and are seriously pissed. I say we muzzle him for good,” Anna offers.
“I second that,” Lexi agrees.
Nik wonders if any of his employees actually work given their current and incessant bickering at his front door. He decides then and there a move might be a good option.
Like most, Monday is his least favourite day of the week but he’s fairly certain it isn’t for the same reason. Nik likens it to the moment a weekend hangover finally passes and clarity makes an unwelcome return, complete with a litany of regrets.
Being owner of one of the top tattoo studios at Venice Beach, Nik doesn’t see tattoos as regrets. Far from it. He has a plethora, all telling a story.
His story.
The good, the bad and the downright ugly.
Unfortunately, others don’t see it the same way, much like the person downstairs ready to ruin his day and all before he’s ingested some much-needed caffeine.
“Happy Monday to me,” he mutters, not bothering to look in the mirror before scrambling to find some clothes.
Ten minutes later he appears in his usual uniform of fitted jeans and a suitably hued henley, probably more disheveled than he’d like but given his unorthodox wake up call, it’s hardly surprising.
As he makes his way down each step toward the studio floor, his eyes immediately dart towards an impatient looking blonde at the front desk. Blonde waves caressing her shoulders, pink lips and blue eyes that perfectly match her shirt. She’s standing there impatiently while tapping her perfectly manicured nails on the front desk.
He isn’t blind, she’s beautiful, but at the same time there is something in her eyes and overall body language that spells the bad news he’s expecting. He’s disappointed but when their eyes lock, he does his best not to betray his real feelings.
This is business, after all.
“Well, finally,” she snaps. Even with that frown, he’s trying to reconcile the fact she’s complaining but he’s extremely attracted to her at the same time. “I’ve only been waiting for fifteen minutes. I hope you enjoyed your sleep-in while I’ve been languishing out here.”
“Thank you, I did,” he murmurs lazily, noting the way she purses those lips while her eyebrows rise curiously. “So, what can I help you with Ms…”
“Forbes,” she utters and he doesn’t miss the way she fumbles something so easy as her surname. It’s cute, but he isn’t supposed to think that. He’s also not supposed to be perusing just how well she wears fitted denim either.

Black Sails season 3 wrap-up
I’m unhealthily invested in this show and am taking a hiatus to watch s2 of Stranger Things. I can’t even think about anything having to do with boats without getting emotionally wrecked over my pirate children. I was going to do this post in bullet points but I wrote so much I ended up being like okay this calls for paragraphs.
He’s not the most, like, striking character, he’s more understated than Flint or Silver, but I think Billy might be my favorite character. He remains one of the best people on the show (the bar is not high, though) but, as we see towards the end of the season, he can be truly devious and ruthless as well. I love how they’ve used Billy to engage with popular myths about pirates. His idea to use the black spot to intimidate Captain Throckmorton is both brilliant on an in-universe level—Billy is appropriating a terrifying fiction about pirates and making it extremely real—and on a writing level, since it allows the show to use the device of the black spot while maintaining historical plausibility. It gets more complex when you consider that (so Wikipedia tells me) RLS himself invented the black spot, but I’ll hold off on commenting any more on that until I’ve read Treasure Island. I will just say, that since Treasure Island was to my knowledge super formative in the development of the modern perception of the golden age of piracy, it’s brilliant of the show to have the characters actively and deliberately crafting those myths. It’s especially cool that they gave that job to Billy, since he’s a character from the original book. I’ve seen hints that there’s a lot more significance to it than that when you take the book into account, but I won’t know about that until I’ve read the book. DO NOT SPOIL ANYTHING OR YOU WILL FIND A BLACK SPOT ON YOUR DOORSTEP I SWEAR TO GOD.
What’s even cooler than Billy’s deployment of the black spot is the fact that he initiates and leads the effort to craft the legend of John “Sad Poodle Who Needs to Be Protected” Silver, my current avatar and a character so influential he’s mentioned in the opening of the Wikipedia article on popular perceptions of pirates. I find it amusing that Billy did this (the legend, I mean, not the wikipedia thing) without Silver’s knowledge and am looking forward to Silver finding out. I hope he’s not too upset about being cast as the villain. Oh my god, I just realized that Flint worrying that he might be a villain has been a theme, but Billy rejects Flint in favor of using Silver as the villain he needs. What a swerve! Flint and Rogers, in a sneaky piece of parallelism, both say they’re willing to be the villain the other side needs (Flint for civilization, Rogers for pirates). Silver, who never even intended to be a pirate in the first place, now unwittingly arises as the third guy who fills a villain vacuum. It’s too bad that we don’t know exactly which member of Billy’s team came up with the moniker Long John Silver, but I’m pretty sure it was Billy himself. Anyway, the point is, Billy is gr8 on every level including the physical one.
The next award is for Most Entertaining Character. Every word out of Jack “To Be Underestimated Is An Incredible Gift” Rackham’s mouth is gold. I really enjoy watching him fanboy over Blackbeard. By the way, this seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I really enjoy Blackbeard’s character. Not to state the obvious but he’s SUCH a pirate. His father-son relationship with Vane breaks my heart, especially the fact that Teach joined the Revenge For Charles Vane Team after Charles had betrayed him not once but twice.
I have very few complaints about Black Sails, but one I do have is that they killed off Mr. Scott just when they had revealed a whole other side to him and created the potential for more interesting storylines. It especially sucks that they killed him off in the same episode as a more prominent, more popular (not to mention whiter) character, ensuring that his death would be overshadowed. I was sad that he ended up repudiating Eleanor as a daughter, though I don’t blame him. Huh, there might be a comparison here to be drawn with Vane and Teach. Anyway, the good news is that Scott’s real daughter is really cool. I love how Silver seems to be turned on by the very fact that he’s intimidated by Madi.
I don’t really understand Eleanor’s change of heart, tbqh. When I inevitably do a rewatch, I’m gonna try to make sense of that. I like Eleanor but I don’t think I would ever trust her. Also, she needs to be less rude to Max.
Vane’s death was incredible and I’m in awe. He wasn’t always a great person but he died a great death. That’s my eulogy. I’ll miss him. I love the weird common ground he sometimes found with Flint, like the fact that each of them tried to rescue the other from getting killed by Civilization. I think Flint would have approved of Vane’s last words. Hopefully Billy or someone told him.
Can you believe Flint told his whole story to Silver!!! I wish we could have seen the actual moment where he tells Silver about his relationship with Thomas. I’m not a huge fan of that thing shows do where they don’t show you the parts of conversations where Character A conveys to Character B really important information. Often, as in this case, it’s info that the audience already knows, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care to see Character B find out. Ah well, time constraints. Anyway, Flint is like the most closed-off person imaginable, yet he told this very private, even dangerous thing to Silver and Silver was supportive! Well, he did imply that Flint directly or indirectly kills everyone who gets close to him, i.e. that Thomas’ death was Flint’s fault, which was kind of insensitive. By “supportive” I guess I just mean “sympathetic and not homophobic.” That reminds me, a few episodes earlier, after Silver kills Dufresne, Flint comes to check on him and asks if he’s alright, which is one of the first times we see him openly express genuine concern for another person. I can’t think of anyone else he’s talked to that way other than Miranda. What is it about Silver that brings out this side of Flint? That’s another rewatch question. I guess part of it, at least in their conversation in 3x10, is simply the fact that Silver straight-up asked Flint, in a supportive way, to confide in him. What a babe.
There’s like a million more things I could comment on (I haven’t even mentioned Anne Bonny, for one) but this post is already super long so I’m gonna stop. I managed to stay away from Black Sails for a week between seasons 2 and 3. I’m in even deeper now than I was then, so I’m going to try to stay away for longer than a week before I start s4. Wish me luck!

300 Nerds - Did they ever tell Neal it was his show that brought them together?
(Geez Louise- this became a thing- very Sw@nfire oriented- though Emma does not actually appear in this sequel with CaptainSw@nn references)
Original Story Here
Belle French, aka PrettyBookish112, finished reviewing her latest post on the Tallahassee fan website, working against the clock as any minute their guest would arrive. A few days after Christmas, the fan board was still quiet but her inbox was full of private messages, some well wishes from friends, though most were musings about the upcoming season. Belle loved the online fandom community, and their passion, and had made some wonderful friends in it, as well as met the love of her life.
Spindleshanks, aka Bailey Gold, brushed past her, sparing time to brush a kiss against her cheek as he headed towards the door. Belle had to bite down her offer to get the door for him as he laboriously moved towards the door. In the dead of winter, his limp was much more pronounced though he refused to utter one word of complaint. It was his own personal struggle, and while Belle had struggled with his determination to ignore the elephant in the room, she tried to be understanding.
Bailey’s son Neal, however, had no such qualms. “Papa!” came the booming voice from the other room. “What are you doing walking around on that leg!” A faint struggle ensued over luggage, but when Neal strode into the room, he was clutching his carry-on and glowering over his shoulder. Bailey hobbled in behind him in the middle of a spirited argument that he was not an invalid.
“I think this may be a personal record for how soon you two start bickering,” Belle said as she put her computer aside. She greeted Neal with a hug before snagging his carry-on. “I’ll put this in your room.”
“Uh actually,” Neal said and to her surprise, he colored a bit. “I think I’m going to stay at the Inn this time.”
“The Inn?” Bailey repeated with a furrowed brow. “Whatever for?”
Clearly uncomfortable, Neal looked back and forth between them for a moment as they stared incredulously back. “Because…you know,” he hedged.
“Obviously, we do not,” his father replied testily.
Belle looped her arm through his and gave it a gentle squeeze, their private signal that his emotions were getting the better of him. “Let me call down to the Inn and see if they have any availability,” Belle offered. “People may be lingering after the holidays.”
Neal shook his head. “I already have a room,” he told them. “I made the reservation when you picked the date.”
As Neal’s discomfort registered, Belle’s cheeks warmed. “Oh,” she said and Neal nodded in relief.
Never liking to be in the dark, Bailey grew even more irritably. “Oh what?”
“We’re getting married tomorrow,” Belle whispered up at him.
His face softened slightly. “Yes, we are,” he said and he lifted her hand in his to press a kiss to the inside of her wrist.
Neal cleared his throat meaningfully. “This is why I’m staying at the Inn,” he said as he plopped down on the couch. “I barely got any sleep last time I was here with all the nocturnal activity. I figured you’d want the place to yourself the night of your wedding”
Bailey’s only response was a wicked smile as he draped his arm over Belle’s shoulders. “Oh?” he repeated. “It is an old house son, things tend to go bump in the night.”
Biting her lip to stop from smiling, Belle wiggled out from underneath her soon to be husband’s arm. “Stop teasing,” she warned her husband. “Neal, I wasn’t sure when you’d get in, so I thought we could just go out for dinner tonight.”
“Granny’s it is,” Neal declared. He fished his phone out of his pocket and typed something before standing to slide his phone back into his back pocket. “Shall we?”
Curious by nature, Belle had to resist asking him who he had been texting and why. Bailey had no such qualms. “Who was that?” he asked as he started toward the coat rack.
“Just set stuff,” Neal replied as he grabbed his luggage from where Belle had sat it down by the stairs. All production of Tallahassee had been suspended for the holidays, one of the reasons Belle and Bailey had decided on a winter wedding, which meant no one would be on the set up in Vancouver today, not even the local crew.
“Everything okay?” Belle asked as she slipped her jacket over her shoulders.
Usually, Neal brushed aside any questions about the set or his private life, but now, he wavered. “Well…I wasn’t going to say anything because it’s your wedding but…you know, I actually could use your help with something…off the record, of course”
Belle nodded fervently. When Bailey had first shown up at the library with a chipped teacup in hand, Belle had been too excited to meet her beloved penpal to think twice of it being Bailey Gold. When they had emerged from their embrace, they had sat down in the library, and he had explained that his son was none other than Neal Cassidy, and her life had never quite been the same since.
For one thing, she had to be extremely careful when posting online. Neal sometimes let little things slip all the time, or in the one memorable arc from this past fall, had even asked for her input as a diehard fan of the romantic drama. She was now on first name base with all the cast including leads Emma Swann and Roger Hook, fan favorite villain Regina Mills and other members of the supporting cast.
“What is it, son?” Bailey asked “More network problems?”
Neal shook his head which was a relief. Bailey did much better with Neal’s issues in network and rating woes than Belle ever had, but those battles always put the show in danger of cancellation. Despite its cult following and critical acclaim, Tallahassee had never broken into the mainstream though everyone knew of it. The network annually threatened to pull the plug unless Neal made some changes, something he always pointedly refused to do. Now, in the penultimate season, a cancellation at this point and time would be devastating for everyone.
“It’s not another love triangle, is it?” Belle asked warily.
Neal’s face twisted. “You better sit down,” he said and before his father could protest, he added,” It’s kind of a long story.” Belle gently led Bailey around the sofa with her, sitting down together as Neal relocated to the loveseat. “You both know Emma’s son, Henry?
Not what they were expecting but they both nodded. At ten, Henry was a familiar face on set. He could always be found exploring or writing his own takes on the show’s characters (which at ten was a lot of true love’s kiss and other fantastical solutions to the ongoing drama).
Neal licked his lips. “And I’m sure you heard Emma and…Roger are engaged?”
Emma and Roger played star crossed lovers on Tallahassee, but Belle had always tried to be respectful of their private lives before she had even known them. Rumors had swirled online all through the first four seasons about their off the set romance, but when they had made it public earlier this summer, it had quickly been followed by an engagement in the fall.
Beside her, Bailey was still as a statue, and Neal’s was a mirror image. It was as if both men were wearing a mask. “What is it?” Belle asked her fiance, for she was obviously missing something.
When Bailey did not immediately respond, Neal sighed.  “I…I asked Papa not to say anything,” he said in apology. He fell silent, obviously struggling for what to say next as Bailey reached over and took Belle’s hand in his own. The room was silent, some unknown truth hanging over Neal’s head as he released a long, shaky breath before looking up to meet Belle’s concerned gaze. “There’s only a handful of people who know about this, outside of the party involved, only a few know all the details, though I’m sure others could guess it.”
Shameful secrets began to suggest themselves to Belle. Neal had a drinking problem. He struggled with addiction. He-
“Emma and I dated once upon a time,” he said, cutting off her line of thinking.
Belle’s mind went completely blank. “You what?”
Bailey took over the narrative, sparing his son from the inevitable line of questioning. “When Neal first moved out to LA,  he still went by Bailey Gold Junior.”
“Bae for short,” Neal added. “Never Junior.”
Belle nodded her understanding as Bailey continued. “He worked odd jobs, paid his dues, and as many young men do, fell in love.”
Belle bit the inside of her cheek as this information begged a thousand new questions. In the year she had known him, and the years prior when she had only known him as the producer of her favorite show, Neal Cassidy had never once been romantically linked with anyone. Ever.
“We met on set as leads on a student’s thesis project, some modern day Bonnie and Clyde film, and spent the whole day trapped in a yellow Volkswagen bug together. We told each other everything in between takes, where we were from, what we wanted to do, who we wanted to be…. After that, we were inseparable.”
“We?”
Neal raked a hand through his hair and it stood up on end slightly but it was Bailey who answered, “Ms. Swann.”
“You and Emma Swann dated?” Belle repeated in disbelief.
“We were together for over a year when I landed a writing job in Vancouver. Emma had just been offered a role in an upcoming pilot. Her agent called me and told me she was planning on turning it down to go with me so…”
“He ended it,” Bailey finished for him. “He started work on Neverland where, at his lawyer’s suggestion, changed his name to Neal Cassady, while Ms. Swann went on to win three consecutive Emmys for her work on Princess in Peril.”
“Did she know why you broke up with her?” Belle asked, but she already knew the answer.
Neal shook his head. “I pretty much just left,” he said. “You’ve met Emma. You know how stubborn she is. I loved her and I wanted what was best for her, and that wasn’t giving up her dream to take a chance on mine.”
Belle couldn’t see Emma Swann quitting her career to follow anyone, but she also knew Emma had grown up an orphan. In her early interviews, Emma had been frank about always dreaming of a family, her struggles with being a single mother and actresses, and what sacrifices she was willing to go to.
In a way, it was rather romantic; tragic but romantic. “But you cast her in Tallahassee-”
“The network cast her,” Neal corrected. “She was the right choice for the role, thankfully, but I didn’t get an say in casting her or Hook. Hell, Emma didn’t even know who Neal Cassady was until she showed up to the table read.” He idly rubbed at his chin as if it pained him. “She wasn’t happy about it,” he confessed with a wry grin. “Marched in my office afterwards and punched me square in the jaw.”  He smiled ruefully.  “Luckily, she wanted the role too much to turn it down, so we proceeded with the pilot and the rest is history.”
“Obviously none of this can be shared,” Bailey said quietly and Belle nodded fervently.
“God no! I would never do that to you or Emma,” she assured Neal. There had always been whispers of a tension between the two leads and the showrunner but whenever Belle had been on set, there had always been an easy camaraderie between Neal and Emma. If Belle hadn’t been wearing her shipper goggles, too wowed by Emma’s seemingly fairy tale relationship with Roger, Belle wondered if she might have seen more.
“Emma’s happy now,” Neal said. “That’s all that matters.’
It became abundantly clear to Belle that Neal was still in love with Emma Swann, and a quick glance over at Bailey confirmed this. “So, you don’t want my advice on how to handle her engagement?”
Neal shook his head. “No, I…I’m not saying I’m thrilled she’s marrying Roger but it’s her choice. She told me…she came to me about it before they announced it and I accepted it but…he wants to adopt Henry.”
“That’s rather…paternal of him,” Bailey snorted and all his quiet disdain for the male lead of the their favorite show now made perfect sense. Of course Bailey wouldn’t like Hook, not when his son and Hook were in love with the same woman. “I don't’ recall him ever being particularly interested in the boy prior to this.”
Henry was adorable, but precocious for his age. He had never been particularly wowed by his mother’s boyfriend, always preferring spending his time with Regina or Neal-
“Oh my god!” Belle said as she stood up. “Henry’s ten!”
Bailey blinked up at her as Neal nodded glumly.  “Yea…He’s my son,” Neal said as he buried his head in his hands.
Bailey had the look of a deer caught in the headlights, and Belle sank back down to the couch to take his hands in her own. “How?” is all he said.
“Emma found out a week before she got the offer for Princess in Peril. She assumed they would rescind the offer when they found out she was pregnant, which is why she planned to go with me. When I left…she decided to have Henry on her own. It was just a fluke that Princess in Peril changed networks and work was pushed back a year. They kept her single mom status quiet for a while, until the second season wrapped and she did some interviews about it. She claimed Henry’s father was an old friend from her hometown, and I believed it.”
“When did you find out?”
Neal let out a mirthless chuckle, an eerie echo of his father’s. “The same day of the read, right after Emma punched me in the face actually.” Neal looked up at his father and his eyes were bright with tears. “Since we were working together…  she didn’t want anyone to know. I signed a nondisclosure clause with her agent…I couldn’t tell anyone, not even you, Papa, or she’d quit and if I lost her, I lose the show. I figured…I thought the show would get a season if I was lucky…and I could…I could spend some time with Henry.”
Bailey slowly sat down, taking Belle with him. “I…I have a grandson?”
“Surprise,” Neal said weakly.
Now, that she thought of it, Belle was surprised no one else saw it. Henry was still young, but he had the same coloring as Neal and though he took after his mother in looks, there were unmistakable Gold aspects about his nature. After all, Henry had never met a person he couldn’t twist around his little finger through whatever means necessary.
“Henry doesn’t know,” Neal said before either of them could ask. “We agreed after the show ended, we would tell him…but now with Roger wanting custody…”
“Hook knows, I suppose?” Bailey asked.
“Emma told him about everything when they started dating. I’m pretty sure Regina suspects, but she’s never come right out and asked. As far as custody, Emma’s still considering it, but it’s not like…I have a choice in the decision but I think we should tell Henry now….and Emma thinks we shouldn’t say anything until he’s older. She doesn’t want things to be confusing for him.”
“Meaning she wants him to think of Hook as his father,” Bailey grumbled and Belle felt guilty thinking it, but she agreed. However, she wasn’t Emma, and Belle didn’t know what kind of choices she’d make in the other woman’s shoes.
Neal turned to her now. “Belle, I know you’re a fan of Roger’s…and you like him and Emma together.” Belle’s cheeks warmed in embarrassment as she remembered the countless times she had waxed poetic - to Neal of all people! - about how perfect the Emma and Roger were together both on and off screen. “Tell me, do you think I should step aside?”
“Sue for custody,” Bailey answered before Belle could say anything. His voice was rigid and his gaze was so fierce that Neal shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
Still, Neal shook his head. “That’d break the nondisclosure agreement, which means Emma would end up with most of my shares of the show and her contract would be over. She’d be free to leave, and trust me she would.”
The doorbell rang, and the three of them turned as one. “Who is that?” Bailey asked as he tried to struggle to his feet.
Belle placed a hand on his shoulder as she stood. “Stay with your son,” she whispered with a pointed glance at where the younger man sat in misery. “It’s probably just wedding related, I can handle it.’
Bailey nodded and Belle hurried to the front door as someone pressed the buzzer once more. She was slightly relieved at the chance to get her thoughts together on her own, her long standing love of the Tallahassee, a fictional show, aside, she wanted Neal to be happy, but Belle honestly didn’t see a way of this coming out that wouldn’t upset the fans, the network, or everyone in general.
Opening the door, a blast of frigid air hit Belle squarely in the face, but that’s wasn’t all that struck her. A small figure came barreling in out of the cold, nearly knocking her over. “Hiya, Belle!” Henry Swann said from under the various layers of parkas and scarves in which he was bundled.
“Henry, what in the name of-”
The ten year old pressed a finger to his lips urgently  and Belle managed to get around him to shut the door. In the living room, two masculine voices were still speaking low and Henry started to trail after them. Belle just managed to snag his arm before sinking back to down to crouch before him. “Henry, where is your mother?”
“Antigua,” the boy said with a twist of his lips that said what he thought about that. “With Roger.”
“How did you get here?”
Henry scoffed as Belle began to unzip his coat and unravel his scarf. “I’ve got a credit card for emergencies,” he reminded her with a smug little grin. “Easy enough to buy a ticket online and call a lyft from my phone.”
“You’re ten.”
He ignored her. “Is Neal here?”
“Henry,” Belle said firmly and the youngster stilled. “Your mother is probably worried sick.”
“I called her from the airport,” Henry said. “I told her I didn’t want to spend Christmas at the beach, but she didn’t listen. Then, Roger told me he’s going to adopt me when we get home.” Henry’s face twisted. “So, I put Operation Christmas Tree into action.”
“Operation…?”
“Christmas Tree,” Henry repeated. “Yea, remember in Tallahassee Season 2 when they got lost hiking and they found a cabin in the woods and chopped down a Christmas tree together?”
Of course she did. Beside being an episode that they replayed every holiday season, it was one of her personal favorites. “What does that have to do with anything?” Belle asked him.
He sighed. “That’s when they stopped being dumb and admitted they loved each other.”
“Yes…and?”
Henry shot her a look that his grandfather often gave people who were being particularly stupid. ”So, Neal’s here, which is why I’m here. Because now  Mom will have to come here while Roger has to finish shooting his stupid perfume commercial.”
“You came for my wedding?”
“Sorta….”
“Everything okay out there, Belle?” Bailey called from the living room.
“Fine!” Belel called back before Henry could respond. “Just…just a sec!”
Henry let her tug him after her into the kitchen where she grabbed some leftover turkey from Christmas and put it in the microwave for him. He climbed up on a stool as she bustled about the kitchen, sending a text to Emma that Henry had safely arrived. There was no immediate response which meant Emma was probably already in the air.
Henry was kicking his feet, looking around the kitchen in interest. “Can I have some hot chocolate?”
The microwave dinged and Belle took out the warm plate of turkey breast, scooping some cranberry sauce over them and sliding it over to Henry with a fork. “After dinner,” she said as she sat on the stool across from him.
The boy ate with gusto and Belle was so lost in wondering what to do next, she missed the sound of Bailey’s cane approaching. “What in the world-”
“Gold!” Henry greeted with a mouthful of mashed potatoes.
“Henry?”
Belle stood up and hurried over to Bailey, practically dragging him into the kitchen. “Where’s Neal?” she demanded.
“Bathroom,” Bailey replied in a daze, eyes still on his grandson. “Where did he come from?”
“Antigua,” Henry said helpfully.
“By way of Boston International,” Belle sighed. She hated to think what that Lyft bill would cost. Her phone dinged, a reply back from Emma saying she had just landed in Boston. “Emma’s renting a car,” Belle sighed. “She’ll be here in a few hours.”
“Emma’s what?”
Bailey and Belle turned at one to see Neal had joined them in the kitchen. He was so busy staring at them he missed his son at the table. “Heya, Neal!” Henry called out with a wave of his fork.
“Henry?”
Bailey turned to Belle and she could have sworn he was trying not to laugh. “Might want to call the caterers,” he said. “Looks like we’re going to need a few extra plates. “

Klaroline FanFiction Recs
(NOTE: Updated on 29/03/2018 - Just factual information)
Hello everyone, so I decided to share with you my Fanfiction recommendations. Now I’m a harsh judge, on my FanFiction.net account, I rarely favourite fics, but these fics have wormed their way in, I find them so well written, they got me hooked and they do something rare - they make me want to reread it, despite knowing what will happen.
So I’m going to share my recommendations, what they are about, the pairings (because some are a no go) and share why I love them, If you know the author of any of the fics on Tumblr feel free to let me now so they can get the recognition on Tumblr as well. I’m aiming to build on it to include those drabbles and one-shots that are exclusively on Tumblr.
Always Only You by MysticManhattan | FanFiction.net AU/AH. Caroline is in a horrible car accident and goes into a coma. When she wakes up she thinks it's 2009, every memory from then to present has vanished. Will she choose to go down the same path that she chose before, or will she choose an entirely different one? And most importantly, will she ever get her memories back? Everyone is human! Chapters: 19 Characters: Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson Ships: Klaroline Last updated: 20 April 2014 Complete
I just love this FanFiction that after I read it I did what I usually did and moved on, but months later while reading other fics, this popped in my head and I remembered particular bits and how much I loved it, so I had to try and remember what it was called, reread it and still loved it. You can feel the chemistry in their relationship and it has the balance of plot and romance - although leaning more towards romance. My only complaint is that the ending to me felt slightly rushed, not awful, I just found myself wanting more, I wanted a prequel, more flashbacks and more of them rediscovering each other.
I Still Love You by AnnaTom23  | FanFiction.net AU/AH. Caroline has the perfect life. Trouble ensues when she realizes her loving Nik is a wanted crime lord along with her best friend Stefan. She loves him with all her heart but she can't stay with him knowing he is causing people so much pain. She has to run, if not for her sake then for the little one growing inside her. Even if she does run, it's not long before he finds her. Warning: It is a Dark Fic. Chapters: 22 Characters: Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson, Stefan Salvatore, Kol Mikaelson Ships: Klaroline Last updated: 17 November 2015 Complete
Now, I must stress I’m not big on Dark fics, especially in this case when it’s an AU/AH, this is simply because there is no supernatural element and I know the safe thing is for them to not be together and AnnaTom23 is a notorious fan of Dark Fics, however this is one of the more tamer ones. I knew that I should walk away but I couldn’t their was something intoxicating about there story and I reread it recently. This kind of fic reminded me of all those couples from those classic soaps like Dallas and Gossip Girl, that are well loved that have those unhealthy dynamic. It’s not abusive, but definitely shows possessiveness, there are some cute moments as well. But this fic also suffers from a rushed ending, I won’t spoil it but something big happens and then it kind of has an Epilogue, I would of liked more of an aftermath, are the Mikaelsons still in the same lifestyle etc.
Hot (Sauce) by honestgrins | FanFiction.net Caroline Forbes had been a kick-ass surgical resident with a gorgeous fiancé when she accepted an invitation to a boat party on the Gulf. The night ended in terror as the guests started attacking each other. When she woke on the beach the next morning, the relief she felt at surviving the ordeal was quickly replaced by an intense hunger for brains. An iZombie-KC fusion fic. Chapters: 4 Characters: Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson, Katherine Pierce, Kol Mikaelson Ships: Klaroline Last Updated: 14 January 2016 Complete
This is the my favourite fusion based on a show, especially when a Sci-Fi/Fantasy element is added, it loosely follows iZombie, I mean you can tell how each TVD character is in relation to the iZombie characters but they quickly go off on their own. Maybe I’m greedy, but again I wanted more. I’m aware that this was likely never intended to be anything long term but I wanted to see more of Caroline dealing with being a Zombie as well as the other characters, or even more of what they did after the fic ended. However I love their interpretation and spin on iZombie. So if you want something short but not a drabble then this is great.
The Madness Underneath by marvelouskatie | FanFiction.net Caroline is a psych student working as a sober companion in Chicago, hired by Elijah Mikaelson to assist his brother, Klaus, who is fresh out of rehab. For the next six weeks, she'll be with him 24/7 helping him to maintain a sober life. Caroline will soon discover Klaus is no ordinary client. AH/AU, based off Elementary/Sherlock Holmes. Do not have to be a fan of Holmes to read! Chapters: 32 Characters: Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson Ships: Klaroline Last Updated: 22 April 2016 Complete
I won’t say much about this one and it is not an insult to the author, it’s because I believe that it’s a popular one with readers or many are familiar with it, but what I love about this is that it creates the right balance of romance and plot, it not overpowering that it’s just full one smut, although I’m guilty of liking that but the plot isn’t too much that the relationship is no existence. There is development, also wouldn’t a continuation of that little sequel you wrote. But again, this just worked for me.
Heroes Never Die by Angelikah | thetourguidebarbie  | FanFiction.net Doctor Caroline Forbes devoted her life to protecting the innocent, but fell in love with the darkest parts of a man who was anything but. After a terrible accident, her only chance to save him was to take a risk with an experimental healing treatment, which went horribly wrong. All she can do now is look back on what they'd had and hope that someday he'd forgive her. Based off Overwatch. Chapters: 2 Characters: Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson, Stefan Salvatore, Bonnie Bennett Ships: Klaroline Last Updated: 11 January 2017 Complete
I’ve never read Fanfics based on games, even when it has my OTP in their place, however I gave it a go because it’s Overwatch. Now I’m not going to go all fake gamer girl and claim that I’m a fan of it. My knowledge is based on watching people playing on Twitch, but I’m familiar with some of the voice actors from Overwatch (some of my fellow Hoomans). This game is on my to-do list. However, you do not need prior knowledge of the game to be able to read this, and god it is so good. I just love the reversal of roles because often Klaus would be made as the character that would go to the ends of the earth to save Caroline, so it’s nice to see it be Caroline and Caroline doesn’t come off as weak or some anti-feminist rubbish about how she can’t live without a man, this is a woman in love with a guy. This is a perfect two-shot, and I wouldn’t mind more, however I’m perfectly content with this. It is also a good example of a dystopian future fic that doesn’t lose it way and the world doesn’t suddenly get fixed or healed.
Picturesque by lil7miss7sarcastic | Fanfiction.net She doesn't talk to Klaus about feelings. Ever. Or at least when she's sober. Sure, there are times when their friends pass out and the two of them lie on the rooftop, looking at the stars, and talk. But some form of intoxication is always involved. AU/AH Klaroline (with slight Steroline) and the gang as Friends in New York City. Chapters: 7 Characters: Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson, Stefan Salvatore Ships: Klaroline Last Updated: 17 February 2018 Complete
This fanfic is kind of a HIMYM/Friends hybrid and it’s so good. None of these characters are actually directly based on the originals from the shows, it’s still the Klaroline you love. Now, when the author says slight SC, they mean it, they don’t date and they aren’t in a relationship at all. But this is great and I love the Klaroline dynamic and they finally finished this fic, two years later. My new complaint, which I shared with them, was that the ending does feel rushed, maybe it’s because I experienced the hiatus itself, but I feel like you can tell between Chapters 6 and 7, there is kind of a different tone to the last chapter than the rest. But I do understand writers block as well as losing the passion to writer for a ship or another passion overtakes the old one. But this is still a very enjoyable fic. It’s good for those who want to read something that’s long and a continuation as opposed to a one-shot, but also it’s not too long that you are spending time away from interacting with actual people face to face reading it.
I Have a Bad Case of Loving You by LitLover 101 | queenofthedramedies | FanFiction.net These would be the greatest years of her life. After seven years Hayley Marshall would officially be a doctor. Unfortunately, until then she had to deal with the rigors of her internship and residency with a colorful group of fellow interns and a one night stand who turns out to be her boss. What could wrong? Chapters: 24 Characters: Hayley Marshall, Elijah Mikaelson, Klaus Mikaelson, Rebekah Mikaelson, Caroline Forbes, Tyler Lockwood, Joshua Rosza, Bonnie Bennett, Freya Mikaelson Ships: Halijah, Klaroline (planning a reread, more to be added) Last Updated: 15 April 2017 Complete
Okay, bare with me folks! I know some might not be a big fan of Klaroline not being the main ship in a fic or are not a big fan of Hayley or Halijah, but this Grey’s Anatomy style fic is a current favourite of mine. For starters, Hayley is likable in this and not in the way where TO sometimes comes off as trying too hard to do that or  is OP. She even has some of Meredith Grey’s qualities in the fic, but for me I love the Cayley friendship, it’s a crackship of mine. But this is a rare fic for me where they have characters from TO and TVD but none of them (so far have been portrayed negatively, or biased negative), even characters that you don’t like appear but you don’t care because they are either made likable or only appear briefly in the background, a 2D character. But the Klaroline relationship is written so well, it doesn’t suffer because the primary ship is Halijah. It is like Grey’s in which Hayley is the lead but the ensemble cast do have their own storylines. My only complaint with this - which I shared with the author was about how the storylines of the other characters has missing gaps in because the story is written from Hayley’s POV so one sec you have two characters arguing, a chapter later they made up off screen. So it jumps with the secondary characters storylines, but she has made it up to us with a tie-in fic that is currently in production/progress.
Somewhere Only We Know by LitLover 101 | queenofthedramedies | FanFiction.net Tie-in stories to I Have a Bad Case of Loving You: follow the lives, loves, losses and triumphs of the interns, residents and attendees at New Orleans Grace Hospital. Chapters: 3  Characters: Rebekah Mikaelson, Tyler Lockwood, Joshua Rosza, Jackson Kenner, Caroline Forbes, Klaus Mikaelson, Kol Mikaelson Ships: Klaroline, TBA (A lot is being kept as a surprise, I think) Last Updated: 24 June 2017 Ongoing
This is the tie-in that I mentioned in the comment of the previous fic. This is only one chapter in but this delves into the secondary characters and fills in those blanks and gaps that don’t completely make sense in the original fic or left you wanting an explanation. I won’t hype it up because we haven’t been giving enough yet but it is promising. One thing that the author is good at is making us care about these secondary characters, like Tyler is a bit of a fuckboy, not a negative portrayal but I still like him, he’s harmless. My hope is once it’s completed that someone (probably me) will re-edit the fic (for personal rereading purposes) so it can include the scenes from this fic in where they take place in the original one. This is being written co-currently with the sequel to the original fic. Again, I want to express my gratitude to the author for taking their time to write this tie-in because it probably wasn’t their intention and they are upping their workload just for us measly fans.
Rumor Has It by LitLover101 | queenofthedramedies | FanFiction.net Continuation of I Have a Bad Case of Loving You: Tales of failed boards, broken hearts, healing wounds, love, loss, friendship, family and resilience bring us back to the New Orleans Hospital. Oh, and, don't forget the new crop of interns. Things are about to heat up in this hospital. Chapters: 7 Characters: Hayley Marshall, Elijah Mikaelson, Klaus Mikaelson, Davina Claire, Caroline Forbes, Rebekah Mikaelson, Tyler Lockwood, Joshua Rosza, Bonnie Bennett, Freya Mikaelson, Aurora De Martel, Lucian Castle, Freya Mikaelson, Kol Mikaelson Ships: Halijah, Klaroline (more to be added as revealed, I believe some are kept as a surprise) Last Updated: 31 January 2018 Ongoing
I won’t go into much because it is just chapter 1 but it is the sequel and I’m already loving it, it provides answers to the cliffhanger left at the end of the original fic - think of it as the cliffhanger to season 1 and this is season two. But this provides so many more questions, thanks to a 6 month time jump from the last fic to now. Now don’t quote me on this but if you’re worried that the secondary character and ships to Halijah might not get screentime or we will suffer from gaps due to it being from Hayley’s POV don’t worry, I think the author said that it will delve in a bit from other characters POVs and their storylines but Hayley and Halijah will still be the focus. Hayley is the Meredith of this TVD/TO Grey’s story.
Those are my current favourites, thanks for taking your time to read them. Sorry I might of gone overboard.

Let's go with the fire ladies: Cinder, Shego, Sunset Shimmer, Azula and Asahi (I don't care what anyone says, she counts because of hotness alone.)
Well, shit. Alright *cracks knuckles* let’s do this.
Cindergeneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but holy shit, what a mastermind. One of the most clever villains I’ve come across, although the show was poor at displaying that.worst quality: As is the bane of many villains, arrogance.ship them with: Uh, no opinion one way or another, honestly. Salem, Neo, Roman, Ruby- I’m flexible, but no single ship pops out at me, except maybe Emerald. I do like that one.brotp them with: Roman, Junior, and I think she’d get along marvelously with Aria from the Mass Effect universe.needs to stay away from: Red Ryders (she can’t afford to put an eye out)misc. thoughts: I like Cinder as a primary antagonist, so a little sad to see that spot taken from her by Salem. I would really like to have a canon age for her, as well as a real backstory.
Shegogeneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: The sass.worst quality: Terribly inconsistent.ship them with: Kim. Doy.brotp them with: Drakken and Junior.needs to stay away from: Barkin (it’s best for both of them) and Hego (sometimes, hanging out with family is good; other times, it’s a great way to end up in prison. Again).misc. thoughts: Straight up, still one of my favorite characters, full stop. Really wish we had a more solid understanding of how the Go powers worked, especially the green glow. Also, yes, I would put her in Ravenclaw; she’s arguably smarter than Dr. D in a lot of ways and she’s got a very quick wit; she shows enough empathy to disqualify for Slytherin and I think she’d object to Gryffindor on principle. And ain’t no way in hell she’s a Hufflepuff.
Sunset Shimmergeneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: Driven to accomplish her goals.worst quality: Was very much a selfish brat and still has the tendency to get a big head (and not ask for help).ship them with: Twilight Sparkle.brotp them with: The rest of the Mane 6, though notably closer to AJ and RD. I feel like she’d really jive with their competitive spirits.needs to stay away from: Discord. Because can you imagine if Discord managed to convince Sunset Shimmer that a good prank would be to pretend like she went back to being evil and the shenanigans that would ensue? I really think some part of Sunset Shimmer would buy into the ‘prank’ idea and Discord would take it way too far.misc. thoughts: During Equestria Girls, I thought she came off as a bit too stereotypical of a high school villain- Bonnie, in a way- which seemed like a major downgrade from other antagonists in the show. And while I wasn’t a big fan of the ‘instant forgiveness’ at the end, Rainbow Rocks flipped my opinion rather effectively. I’m glad she’s part of the EQG cast and, if there’s one complaint I have about the character, it’s that her popularity spawned Starlight Glimmer.
Azulageneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: Higher than Cinder on my personal favorite villains scale, her cold calculations make her a wonderful chessmaster villain, and that’s always been my favorite villain quality.worst quality: Once again, arrogance. Her miscalculation with Mai ended up costing her more than a few escaped prisoners and sparked the downward spiral of her mental state.ship them with: Ty Lee. (Shut up.)brotp them with: Aria T’loak from Mass Effect again. I feel there are so few who could truly match her step for step in devious cunning.needs to stay away from: Also Aria T’loak, because a universe with both those characters definitely needs Reapers to act as a bigger threat and force them to work with the good guys.misc. thoughts: I don’t think I’ll ever get over how absolutely badass Azula is as a child character. Villain she might be, but she’s stunning in her effectiveness, and not someone I’d want to cross in the real world. Also, she’s so fucking quoteable.
Asahigeneral opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: I… actually haven’t had a chance to watch the show yet, but going off GIFs and fanwork I’ve seen, I’m gonna go with her ability to be extra.worst quality: Seems really fucking stubborn.ship them with: ???brotp them with: Jack. I have no context for this other than the dad!Jack things I’ve seen, and they look precious.needs to stay away from: Aku, and I don’t even need to see the show to know that one.misc. thoughts: Seems like a character I can really like.
OH, YOU MEANT ASAMI!general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: This woman. Does. Not. Quit. Tenacious as hell, and I can totally dig that.worst quality: Sweetheart, I understand it worked out well, but I think you’re a touch too forgiving...ship them with: Korra. And I did like her with Mako, a bit, but I just don’t much care for Mako.brotp them with: Bolin, who is everyone’s bro, and I think she’d get along rather well with Liara after her escapades as the Shadow Broker.needs to stay away from: Her father...misc. thoughts: I actually just picked up the whole series on DVD last week; hopefully I’ll get a chance to watch. I really liked Asami as a character when she was introduced and felt a little sad thinking she had all the hallmarks of a femme fetale who would betray Mako and Co later down the road. I’m glad the writers recognized that they didn’t have to go that route and instead gave her a fantastic character arc over the show’s run as an official part of Team Avatar.
