Tommy Shelby x Reader: In the Lion’s Den
Summary: When your estranged father shows up unannounced in Birmingham, slipping into your home like he still has a right to be there, you do what you’ve always done, stay quiet, keep the peace, and pretend the past can’t hurt you. But Tommy Shelby isn’t a man who misses the signs, and when he discovers the bruises you tried to hide, he makes one thing clear: no one lays a hand on what’s his and walks away unscathed.
Word count: 5.2k
Warnings: domestic abuse, physical violence, and trauma, including past and present abuse by a parental figure, choking, panic attacks, and PTSD. Mentions of war trauma, blood, minor injuries, and threats of violence
A/N: welp, I’ve fallen back down the peaky blinders rabbit hole.
Tumblr media
The day started like any other.
The warmth of the fireplace crackled softly in the background as you sat curled on the couch, a book in your lap. Tommy was at his desk, going through paperwork, cigarette smoke curling lazily in the air. It was a rare quiet evening, one of those moments where the weight of the world seemed just a little lighter.
Then, there was a knock at the door.
Your brow furrowed slightly. It was late– far too late for visitors. Unless it was Arthur staggering by, drunk again. You glanced at Tommy, who sighed, flicking his cigarette into the ashtray before standing. He made his way toward the door, his steps slow and deliberate.
“If Arthur's pissed on the doorstep again, I swear to God…”
Tommy pulled the door open, expecting Arthur’s drunken frame to be swaying on the other side, slurring apologies for waking the house.
But it wasn’t Arthur.
His stance shifted ever so slightly, his sharp blue eyes scanning the man before him.
You barely registered Tommy’s hesitation because the moment you saw him, the breath in your lungs turned to ice.
Because suddenly, there he was.
Standing on your doorstep, smiling like he belonged there.
Your father.
Your hands clenched in your lap.
“Surprise,” he drawled, stepping forward slightly. “You’re not going to invite your old man in?”
Your body remained frozen. “What… what are you doing here?”
Your father let out a chuckle, his eyes scanning the entryway as if he was appraising it. Then, he stepped forward without waiting for permission. “What? A father isn’t allowed to come see his only daughter once and a while?”
You blinked, your stomach twisting. “How did you get the address?”
He waved a hand. “Your brother gave it to me. Had to practically bully it out of him.”
Your jaw tightened.
“What a place,” he mused, looking around before his eyes landed on Tommy. “And you must be the husband, aye?”
Tommy stood there, unreadable, his gaze cool and detached. He stepped forward, offering his hand, because that’s what men like him did– offered respect until given a reason not to.
Your father shook it.
“Thomas Shelby,” Tommy introduced himself, his voice measured.
Your father smirked. “Oh, yeah, I’ve heard of you alright.”
Tommy merely hummed, but his attention flickered back to you. He saw it then– the way your arms had wrapped around yourself, your fingers gripping your sleeves, your body tensed like a coiled spring.
You barely spoke all evening.
At dinner, Tommy tried to gauge your mood, throwing you small glances, subtle touches, but each time, you withdrew. When his hand brushed yours under the table, you flinched.
Just slightly. But Tommy noticed.
That night, after you’d made up the spare room and your father went to bed, Tommy pulled you into the hallway. His fingers tilted your chin up, his thumb brushing against your jaw.
“Everything alright?” His voice was soft, but there was something in it– something heavy.
You forced a small smile. “Of course. Just tired.”
Tommy studied you for a long moment, his gaze searching. He didn’t look convinced.
You exhaled, glancing toward the closed door of the spare room, then back at him. “I’m sorry he just showed up like that. I– I didn’t know he was coming.”
Tommy shrugged slightly, his thumb still absently stroking your cheek. “It’s alright. Family’s always welcome here. Lord knows mine barges in whenever they damn well please. It's kind of nice having it be yours for a change."
You let out a dry laugh, but it was hallow as your stomach twisted. “Right. Thank you.”
He watched you for a beat longer before sighing. “You sure you’re alright?”
You nodded, almost too quickly. “I’m fine.”
He exhaled through his nose, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face gently. Tommy watched you for another second, his thumb pausing at your cheekbone before he finally nodded.
“Alright, love.” His voice was quiet, but you knew him well enough to hear the doubt behind it. He wasn’t convinced.
You both made your way to the bedroom in silence. Tommy moved around the room, shrugging off his vest, unbuttoning his shirt. You sat at the edge of the bed, staring at your hands, the weight of your father’s presence pressing heavy on your chest.
You should have told Tommy the truth.
You should have said something.
But you couldn’t. You didn’t know if it was the shame that stopped you– not wanting Tommy to know where or what you really came from…
He saw you as strong, capable, resilient.
But if he knew… If he knew that you used to be a girl who flinched at raised voices, who held her breath when footsteps neared, who learned how to measure a person’s anger like a storm on the horizon, would he still look at you the same?
The thought made your throat tighten.
You lay beside Tommy, facing away from him, curled in on yourself. A moment later, his arm draped over your waist, pulling you into his warmth.
“You’re tense,” he murmured against the back of your neck.
“Just tired,” you said again.
He studied you for a moment before sighing, obviously unconvinced. But he kissed your shoulder anyway. “Get some rest, then.”
It took a long time before you finally did.
The days stretched on.
Your father made himself comfortable in your home, slipping into the space between you and Tommy like he had a right to be there.
He drank Tommy’s whiskey like it was his own, spoke to him like they were equals, like there was no history of violence, no reason for you to avoid looking him in the eye.
And yet, you did what you had always done…
You played the part: the dutiful daughter. The quiet peacemaker. The one who let his sharp words roll off her back like they didn’t cut.
But the part that made you sick to your stomach, was how easily you fell back into it. How, in his presence, you became her again– that pitiful version of yourself… that scared little girl who walked on eggshells, who measured her words carefully, who held herself so still when he passed by, like movement alone might set him off.
You hated it– hated that he still had that power over you. Hated that, despite the years of distance, despite the fact that you had built a new life for yourself, he still made you feel so small.
You tried desperately to keep Tommy from seeing that version of yourself. You smiled when you needed to. Laughed at the right moments. Acted like everything was fine.
But the longer the visit stretched out, the harder it was to hide your discomfort.
Days passed. Then nearly a week. Your father showed no sign of leaving.
One afternoon, while Tommy was away at work, you found your father in the hallway, stretching, rolling his shoulders like he’d spent the day laboring instead of lounging.
You took a deep breath.
“Dad.”
He looked up, raising a brow as if you had interrupted something important.
“How long are you planning to stay for?” you asked, keeping your voice even, cautious.
He shrugged, running a hand through his graying hair. “Dunno. Not sure yet.”
You shifted your weight, forcing yourself to hold your ground. “I just– Tommy has a lot going on, and I don’t want to impose.”
Your father scoffed, waving a dismissive hand. “Oh, please. Your husband’s got plenty of room. He’s not hurting, is he?”
You swallowed your frustration and tried again.
“Did you tell Mom you were coming?”
His expression changed.
The lighthearted arrogance drained away, replaced by something darker, more dangerous. His posture stiffened, and his gaze turned sharp.
“That’s none of your business,” he said coldly.
You should’ve stopped there. Should’ve let it go. But something inside you, some small ember of defiance, pushed forward. “It is my business. And this is my house–”
The slap came so fast, you barely saw it coming.
The sharp crack echoed in the hallway, and before you could register what had happened, you were stumbling back, one hand flying to your cheek as heat bloomed across your skin.
Your breath hitched. Your father loomed over you, his face twisted in a sneer. “You don’t get to speak to me like that. Do you understand me? What I say or don’t say to your mother is between me and her. Understood?”
You nodded quickly, pressing your lips together, trying to swallow down the lump in your throat. “Sorry– I– I was just–” you stopped yourself. “Sorry.”
Your cheek burned and your heart pounded in your ears as you turned on your heel and walked away.
You closed yourself into the bathroom, locking it behind you before turning to the mirror.
The mark was already forming. A bright red outline, the shape of his palm clear against your skin. Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes. You inhaled deeply, steadying yourself, gripping the edge of the sink until your knuckles went white.
That evening, you made dinner. A nice dinner. A meal you knew Tommy liked– something warm, familiar. A distraction. Maybe even something to please your father.
You set the table carefully, your hands only shaking slightly as you arranged the plates. You kept your face turned slightly away, hoping the dim lighting would mask the worst of it.
When Tommy got home, the door creaked open, and the familiar weight of his presence filled the space.
You were stirring something at the stove when his arms slipped around your waist from behind.
His touch was warm and grounding. His lips pressed a soft kiss to your shoulder as he murmured, “Smells good in here.”
You smiled– forced and practiced. “I thought I’d make us something nice.”
His arms tightened briefly. “God, it’s been a long day,” he murmured.
Then, as he leaned in, pressing another kiss just below your ear, he turned his head slightly, just enough for his gaze to catch the side of your face.
You felt him go still. His hands, steady on your waist, tensed.
His lips parted. “What’s this?” he asked, finger ghosting along the edge of your cheek.
Your stomach twisted. You knew what he had seen. The mark. The redness that you couldn’t fully hide.
You turned your head slightly, brushing him off. “Oh, it’s nothing. I–” You exhaled, forcing a lighthearted tone as you stepped away from his embrace. “I walked right into that hallway shelf. Must not have been paying attention. I was stupid.”
Tommy didn’t say anything for a long moment. You could feel his eyes trained on you, sharp and assessing, as you moved around the kitchen. Before he could challenge your excuse, another voice cut in.
“Tommy!”
Your father stepped into the room, grinning, swirling a half-full glass of whiskey in his hand. “Good to see you, son. How’s business today?”
Tommy and your father sat at the table, engaging in light conversation. Your father asked about business. Tommy responded, his voice steady, polite.
But his eyes kept flicking to you.
You barely spoke. You moved carefully, quietly, only nodding when necessary.
Tommy noticed. He saw the way you kept your head slightly down. The way your smile didn’t quite reach your eyes. The way your hands trembled slightly when you reached for a glass.
You forced yourself to sit through dinner, every bite feeling like it might turn to ash in your mouth. Every sip of water was just an excuse to avoid speaking.
You were suffocating. You needed to get out.
So, when the dishes were cleared, and the conversation between Tommy and your father began to stretch into the evening, you pushed your chair back and stood.
“I think I’ll turn in early,” you murmured, keeping your voice light. “Didn’t sleep very well last night.”
Tommy’s gaze snapped to you immediately.
Your father barely glanced up. “Night, sweetheart,” he muttered, already swirling the last of his drink in his glass.
Tommy, though– he studied you. You didn’t meet his eyes.
He opened his mouth like he might say something, might challenge you, might ask you to stay, but after a moment, he simply nodded.
“Alright, love.” His voice was careful. Measured.
You forced a small smile before slipping from the room.
It was late when Tommy finally came to bed.
You heard him before you saw him, the slow creak of the bedroom door, the quiet sound of his footsteps across the floor.
He moved carefully, as if not wanting to wake you.
You kept your breathing steady and your eyes closed and pretended to be asleep.
The mattress dipped slightly as he crawled in beside you. For a moment, there was nothing but silence. Then, slowly, his hand came to rest on your hip. His touch was gentle, hesitant. You didn’t move. Didn’t react.
A deep sigh left his lips, and you felt the warmth of his breath against the back of your neck. His grip on your hip tightened slightly, just for a moment, before he exhaled again and let it relax.
You waited for him to say something– to ask, maybe demand answers.
But he didn’t.
Instead, he did what Tommy Shelby never did. He hesitated.
And it was at that moment you realized, he was waiting for you.
Waiting for you to come to him.
But you weren’t ready. So, you remained still, your heart hammering against your ribs as his thumb trailed lazily along your hip. Then, he stretched his arm carefully around your waist and pulled you close.
…
You kept up the act– kept making dinner. Kept playing hostess. Kept pretending like the walls of your own home weren’t closing in on you.
A few nights later, you found yourself in the kitchen, stirring a pot on the stove, when you heard the front door swing open.
The sound was jarring, clumsy, forceful, followed by the sound of staggering footsteps.
The hair on the back of your neck stood up before you even turned around. Your father stepped into the kitchen, his shirt wrinkled, his eyes glassy, the stench of whiskey thick in the air.
He wasn’t just drunk, he was angry. A cold wave of fear ran down your spine.
You froze, hands gripping the edge of the counter as he loomed in the doorway.
“Look at you,” he slurred, waving a hand at the dinner on the stove. “Little housewife, cooking for your big, important husband.”
“Dinner’s almost ready,” you said, picking up a glass cup from the counter and trying to keep your voice steady. “You should sit down.”
His eyes narrowed. “What? You're giving me orders now?”
Your grip tightened on the glass. He took another step closer.
“You always were a smug little thing, weren’t you?” He muttered, shaking his head. “Always had something to say.”
You held your breath as he took another unsteady step forward, his eyes dark and unfocused, but sharp enough to cut straight through you. “I didn’t mean–”
“Now that you've married a Shelby, you're arrogant, too. Tell me,” he interrupted, the word twisted with venom. “Was it him who kept you from coming home all this time? Or was it you? Think you’re too good for your own family now? With your rich fucking husband at your beck and call?”
Your grip on the glass tightened. “You’re drunk.” You tried to turn away, but your father reached out to clutch your wrist.
“Don’t walk away from me.” His grip tightened, his fingers digging into your skin like a vice.
Your stomach twisted violently. “Let go,” you said, your voice shaking despite your efforts to sound firm.
He didn’t. Instead, he yanked you back toward him, forcing you to stumble. The glass in your hand wobbled precariously, liquid sloshing over the rim.
“The king of fucking Birmingham, aye? And you’re what? His housewife? Or his whore?”
“Stop it,” you cut in, trying to wrench your wrist free. “You don’t know what you’re saying.”
“I don't care who you're married to. You don’t get to fucking tell me what to do,” he spat.
Your pulse hammered, panic rising in your chest. “Dad, just stop– you’re drunk.”
He let out a bitter laugh, the sound jagged, cruel. “Drunk?” He sneered. “I’ve been drinking since before you could fucking walk, girl. You think you know better than me? Think that slimey Shelby husband of yours turned you into something special?”
“Tommy,” you swallowed thickly, forcing the words out. “Is a good man. I know that term might be hard for you to comprehend–"
A dark flash crossed his face. And then– the slap. It struck you with enough force to snap your head to the side, the sting burning hot across your cheek. The room blurred for a moment, your ears ringing.
Your father didn’t give you time to react. Before you could move, before you could process, he shoved you hard against the wall.
The glass slipped from your fingers, hitting the floor and shattering, fragments scattering across the kitchen tiles.
Your back collided with the surface, your breath leaving you in a sharp gasp. The pain barely registered before his hands were on you again– this time around your throat, squeezing.
Your hands flew up, clawing at his wrists, your body struggling instinctively. But his grip was tight, unrelenting.
Your chest heaved.
Your lungs burned.
A strangled sound escaped you, but it wasn’t loud enough. Not enough to stop him.
His breath was hot against your face as he leaned in. He was seething. His teeth clenched together as his eyes bore down on you with pure hatred.
Your vision blurred. Your limbs weakened. The edges of your consciousness began to flicker, the darkness creeping in.
In the hazy distance, you vaguely heard the sound of the front door opening, followed by heavy footsteps.
Then, the pressure around your throat disappeared instantly as your father was ripped away from you. You collapsed to the floor in a heap, gasping, your hands flying to your throat as air rushed back into your lungs. Your body shook violently, but you barely noticed.
Because in front of you, Tommy had your father by the collar, slamming him against the kitchen table with enough force to rattle the dishes.
The look on Tommy’s face was lethal.
Your father coughed, groaning, trying to push himself up. But Tommy was on him before he could move.
His fist connected with your father’s jaw– once, then twice. The crack of bone meeting bone echoing through the room.
Blood splattered across the floor. Your father groaned, but Tommy wasn’t done. He grabbed him again, dragging him up by his shirt, slamming him against the wall this time.
Your father choked, spitting blood.
Tommy leaned in, his voice eerily calm now. “You ever touch her again, and I’ll kill you with my barehands. You hear me?”
Your father wheezed, coughing weakly. “Fuck you–”
In an instant, Tommy pulled his gun.
He pressed the barrel beneath your father’s chin, tilting his head back slightly, forcing him to meet his gaze. The air in the kitchen was thick, the only sound the ragged breathing of the men in front of you.
Your father’s eyes widened, his drunken haze fading into something closer to fear.
Tommy’s finger flexed on the trigger.
Your stomach twisted violently.
“Tommy,” you pleaded, voice barely above a whisper.
His grip didn’t loosen.
At least not right away. His chest heaved, his knuckles white around the handle of the gun.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Tommy exhaled sharply and lowered the gun.
“Get the fuck out of my house,” he spat before releasing your father’s collar.
Your father crumpled to the floor, coughing, gasping.
Your father didn’t wait to be told twice.
His hand clutched where Tommy had struck him, his movements shaky as he scrambled to his feet. Blood dripped from his split lip onto the kitchen floor, but he didn’t bother wiping it away. He staggered toward the door, barely able to walk straight, a mix of pain and drunken stupor slowing his steps.
He didn’t even bother to grab his things. Or have the courage to look back at you.
Just stumbled toward the exit, his breath ragged and uneven, one last curse muttered under his breath as he shoved the door open and disappeared into the night.
Tommy followed him to the threshold, his cold gaze never leaving the man’s retreating figure.
Then, click. The sound of the lock sliding into place echoed through the house.
Tommy exhaled sharply, pressing his palm against the door, as if physically barring your father from ever stepping foot in this house again. His shoulders were tense, the muscles in his arms flexing as he gripped the wood tightly.
Your focus shifted to the glass– the shattered pieces lay scattered across the floor, sharp edges gleaming under the dim kitchen light.
Your hands trembled as you scrambled forward, sinking to your knees, desperate to clean it up. You needed to fix this. You needed to make things right.
Tommy was angry. You knew he was.
And if there was one thing you had learned in your life, it was how to keep the peace. How to stay quiet, to smooth over the damage, to do whatever it took to make things okay again.
So you reached for the shards, ignoring the way your fingers shook. One after another, you gathered them in your hands, barely noticing when a sharp edge knicked your skin.
A thin line of red beaded at your skin, but you kept going.
If you could just get it all cleaned up–
Strong hands stopped you, fingers curling around the wrist you had collected pieces in.
“Love.”
The word was soft, but firm.
You hadn’t even realized he had moved, but now he was crouched in front of you, his hands gently prying your fist open so that he could take the glass from you.
You tried to protest, shaking your head. “I– I just need to clean this up, Tommy, I–”
“Leave it,” he said quietly, reaching his arm up and discarding the shards on the countertop.
Your lip trembled. “I– Tommy, I–”
You couldn’t finish the sentence. Because the panic was setting in now, hitting you all at once. Your hands shook violently, the tremors traveling up your arms, your whole body beginning to quake. Your breath came in short, sharp gasps, your chest rising and falling too fast.
You were unraveling.
“I– I can fix it, Tommy, I have to–” Your words broke apart into a sob as you tried to pull away from him, your limbs weak and frantic all at once. “I can fix it–”
Tommy didn’t let you go. “Hey, hey, hey,” he said gently. "It's alright."
Your eyes flickered back to the rest of the shattered glass, your mind spiraling. “It’s a mess, I made a mess, I– I didn’t mean to, I–”
“Love, stop…” His voice was a tether, grounding you even as you spiraled.
But you couldn’t stop.
Your fingers clawed weakly at his arms, desperate for something, anything, to keep you from sinking completely.
“I’m sorry,” you choked out, your whole body trembling so badly you could barely keep yourself upright. “I– I didn’t mean to–”
Tommy swore under his breath. Then, without hesitation, he pulled you in. His arms wrapped around you, strong and steady.
You let out a broken sound, your fingers gripping his shirt in fists as sobs racked your frame. You were shaking so hard it felt like you might come apart completely.
But Tommy held you together.
His hand cradled the back of your head, anchoring you to him. “Shh,” he murmured, his voice thick with something you couldn’t quite name. “Stop, just stop.”
The words tumbled out anyway. “I– I swear I didn’t mean to make him angry, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to–”
You felt the way his breath hitched, the way his hold on you tightened just slightly.
“Do not apologize,” he said, voice low and steady. “Do not apologize for that man. You hear me?”
You shook your head, barely able to breathe. “But I– I should’ve just–”
“No.” Tommy’s tone left no room for argument.
His hand slid from your back to cup your face, forcing you to meet his gaze. His blue eyes were burning now– not with rage, not with violence, but with something unwavering.
“Now you listen to me,” he murmured, his thumb brushing away a tear from your cheek. “He did this. Not you.”
A sob caught in your throat, but he didn’t let you look away.
Tears blurred your vision, but the panic still gripped you tight, its claws lodged deep in your ribs. You shook your head weakly. “I– I should have done something.”
Tommy’s gaze darkened, his hands firm but gentle as they cradled your face. “Like what?” His voice was unwavering, pushing you to say it.
You swallowed, your breath coming in shallow gasps. “I should’ve just kept quiet. But I pushed him. I should’ve known better.”
The moment the words left your lips, shame burned through you like acid. It felt filthy to say it out loud.
Tommy inhaled sharply, his grip tightening ever so slightly. His thumb skimmed over the fading red mark on your cheek, the bruises forming along your throat, and something behind his eyes fractured.
“He would’ve done it anyway,” Tommy said, his tone quieter now. “No matter what you did. No matter what you said. Because men like that don’t need a reason to hurt people.”
Realization washed over you.
He didn’t blame you.
Tommy didn’t blame you.
You had spent your whole life believing it was your fault. That every slap, every harsh word, every cruel punishment was something you had earned.
But Tommy didn’t see it that way. He saw him as the problem. He saw him as the one at fault.
Not you.
The weight of that realization shattered something inside you, splintering through your chest like glass. You let out a broken sound, your body crumbling under the weight of all of it.
And Tommy caught you. He pulled you into his arms again, crushing you against him, holding you so tightly it felt like he was trying to anchor you to the world, to him.
And you let him.
You clung to him, your fingers twisting into his shirt, needing to feel the solidness of him, the warmth, the safety.
Tommy pressed his lips to the top of your head, lingering there as his breath shuddered against your skin. And he didn’t let go. Not when your sobs finally quieted, not when your breathing finally steadied, not even when your body had stopped trembling in his arms.
He just held you.
His hands ran slow, soothing strokes down your back, grounding you in the steady rhythm of his touch. His breath was warm against your hair, his chest solid beneath your cheek, rising and falling in time with yours.
For a long time, neither of you spoke.
Then, finally, his voice broke the silence. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
You stiffened slightly, but his grip didn’t loosen.
“I would’ve thrown him to the wolves the second he walked through the fucking door,” he murmured, his jaw tightening against your forehead. “Christ, I thought you wanted him here.”
You swallowed, gripping the fabric of his shirt in your hands, but you didn’t answer. You didn’t know how.
Because how could you explain that some wounds never really heal? That no matter how far you run, no matter how much time passes, the fear always lingers– deep, insidious, always waiting for an excuse to crawl back up your throat and choke the words before they ever leave your lips?
You felt Tommy sigh against you. His arms tightened, just slightly, like he was bracing himself.
And then, his voice dipped lower. “I should’ve pushed harder,” he murmured. “I knew– I knew something was wrong. And I let you tell me it wasn’t.”
That got your attention.
Your breath hitched, and you pulled back just enough to look at him, your hands still fisted in his shirt.
“Tommy, no.” Your voice was hoarse, shaky, but firm. “This isn’t your fault.”
His jaw tensed.
“I just wasn’t ready to talk about it,” you admitted, voice barely above a whisper.
Tommy studied you for a long moment, his blue eyes unreadable. Then, finally, he nodded, exhaling slowly.
“How long?”
You gazed up at him questioningly.
"How long has he been hurting you for?"
His blue eyes burned into yours, steady, patient, but unrelenting.
You took a breath, one that barely filled your lungs, and whispered,
“I think I was six the first time. I accidentally left the laundry out in the rain. Ruined his favorite suit."
You felt the shift in him. The way his hands, still cradling your face, tightened slightly. The way his breathing turned just a shade too slow, too controlled, like he was forcing himself to stay calm.
"I figured I deserved that one. It was an expensive suit and… well, we didn't come from money."
You swallowed, your throat tight, forcing the words out even as they scraped against something raw inside you.
“But the next time it happened, it was something smaller. I don’t even remember what I did.” You let out a weak, humorless breath. “I think I knocked over a drink. Or maybe I spoke when I wasn’t supposed to.”
You shifted slightly, staring at the spot on the floor where the glass had shattered earlier, as if it might somehow piece itself back together.
“Eventually, the reasons stopped mattering, I guess,” you murmured. “He’d get angry over anything. If you looked at him the wrong way, or even if you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Your fingers twisted into the fabric of Tommy’s shirt, a subconscious need to hold onto something solid.
“When I was nine, he threw me against the table." Your throat felt tight, but the words were coming now, unraveling like thread. “I hit the edge. It cracked a rib, I think. I couldn’t breathe right for weeks.”
Tommy exhaled, sharp and controlled, like he was holding something down, something dangerous.
“The next day, he brought me flowers.” A bitter smile tugged at the corner of your mouth. “To say he was sorry.”
Your voice wavered. “I don't know why but kept them in my room until they wilted. Because no matter how badly he hurt me... I think I still wanted to believe he loved me.”
The words felt foreign coming out of your mouth, like admitting them made them more real. More pathetic.
"I don't know what happened," you admitted. "He showed up here and I just... I panicked. It felt like I was that nine year old girl again. Just trying to make him happy, despite how scared he always made me. It felt like... Like I didn’t belong to myself anymore."
Tommy's hand rose to cup your face, his fingers brushing tenderly over your bruised cheek. His thumb traced the fading outline of your father’s fingers, and his gaze darkened, his lips pressing into a firm line.
Then, after a long pause, he spoke. “Fear that deep that never goes away,” he murmured, his voice quieter now, distant. “Not completely.”
You blinked at him, something heavy settling in your chest. He wasn’t just talking about you anymore.
“France?” you whispered.
His jaw tightened slightly. “Aye.”
His thumb brushed absently over your skin, but his gaze had drifted, staring past you now, as if he was seeing something else entirely.
“I used to think I’d come back and it would be over,” he continued, his voice steady, but different. He was using that careful, guarded tone he used when speaking of the war. “That the things I saw, the things I felt... they’d stay behind, buried in the trenches where they belonged.”
A humorless breath left him. “They didn’t.”
A silence stretched between you. You wondered if he had ever admitted that the war hadn’t ended when he stepped back onto English soil.
Just like your past hadn’t ended when you left home.
Your fingers curled slightly against his chest, your breath uneven. “How do you live with it?”
Tommy’s eyes refocused on you.
“I haven’t quite figured that one out yet,” he admitted.
His thumb brushed absentmindedly over your collarbone. “But it helps to find things that keep you here.” His voice dropped lower, his eyes locked onto yours. “Things worth staying for.”
Tommy exhaled, his fingers pressing lightly against your skin. “And maybe one day, you wake up, and you realize that even though it's still there, that fear doesn’t own you anymore.”
You swallowed thickly, your voice barely above a whisper. “And what keeps you here, Tommy?”
His hand on your chest tightened slightly, his fingers curling over your heart. His breath brushed against your skin. Then, softly, almost so softly you didn’t hear it, he sighed. “I thought that was obvious.”
His hand slid up, fingers trailing along your jaw before cupping your cheek with a tenderness that made your chest ache.
“I’ll always protect you,” he murmured, his voice low, steady. Certain. “I mean it,” he said. “You never have to be afraid in this house again. Not while I’m breathing.”
The way he said it– it wasn’t just a promise.
It was a fact.
A truth carved into the very foundation of who he was.
You swallowed thickly, pressing your forehead against his chest, letting his warmth, his presence, his words wrap around you like armor.
Tommy’s arms came around you again, strong and steady, holding you like he never planned on letting go.

Meta Jazz, the Arkham Intern Therapist Pt1
Update 5/16/2024: Congrats guys, gals, and others! You have planted the seeds and they have grown. Today I wrote another 46 pages on this story (the first section was only 9 pages ya'll). I'm working on splitting it up into smaller sections so I can post it now because tumblr said no to doing it as one piece. I'll be using the tag #Meta Jazz Arkham Intern Therapist if you want to follow it.
Original Note: I'm going to go ahead and apologize for how OOC Bane is in this. It originally was Joker but I couldn't see Jazz tolerating his proximity for more than a single millisecond so Bane it is.
~*~*~
The hardest thing about being a Meta in Gotham was responding appropriately during a Rouge's attack, Jazz mused to herself. Or perhaps that was just the hardest part about being a Meta intern at Arkham while studying psychology at Gotham University. Or maybe it was just her, she considered watching the guards and Dr. Rylie whom she'd been shadowing for the past 2 weeks wide eyed, pale, and shaking as theybstared at Bane behind her. It must just be her, Jazz decided, newbie guard Kyle Jennings was definitely a Meta after all. She should probably give him some tips on hiding his enhanced strength considering how often he broke mugs, door handles, and other delicate items used in daily life.
"Weapons down or I'll snap her skinny little neck." Bane growled out, shaking her slightly for emphasis. She very much doubted that. Liminials were built different than the standard Meta, stronger, faster, better endurance, and senses even if they could mostly appear to be standard humans on the outside.  As such, their bones and muscles were much were much denser than regular humans or even Meta humans. Technically, she could be considered "invulnerable" much like the Kryptonians are.
"Back up! Let him through!" Dr. Rylie  shouted at the guards. "She's my student! Let him through!" His voice was higher pitched than she could recall hearing it before.
Ah. That was panic.
Jazz sighed involuntarily and glanced over her shoulder at Bane. Why the man had grabbed the only person close to his own height nearby was a mystery to her - no, nevermind, he clearly meant to use her as a shield - but it made looking him in the eye more difficult than necessary.
"Mr. Bane, remove your hands from my person, please." Jazz stated calmly, channeling what Danny called her inner mom as she spoke. "I will give you to one to comply."
Bane looked stunned for a moment then laughed.
"Five."
The laughing continued. Jazz could sense a stir of uncertainty through her colleagues as they looked on.
"Four."
"Did you really think that would work?" Bane snorted out, arms tensing more around her.
"Three." She continued, indifferent to his words from her experiences raising her brother. Once the count down starts you mustn't respond to anything the kids do or say until they comply or the count is done.
"What cab you even do if I don't?" Bane asked darkly breathing directly in her ear. She kept her face expressionless despite the urge to express disgust.
"Two."
"Jasmine..."  Kyle whispered halfway across the hall from her looking on with a pained and horrified expression. Gun tilting towards the floor. Sloppy.
"One." She finished and Bane gave a derisive snort.
Then she was moving. Hauling the enormous man up and over her shoulder using the arm that had been wrapped around her neck. Bane hit the cold tile hard enough that the tiles, subfloor, structural supports, and part of the concrete foundation buckled beneath him. His shoulder popped out of joint, his wrist cracked - a hairline fracture by the sound of it -  and his breath was punched out of him from the force of impact. She released his arm as soon as his was embedded in the tiles and moved forward. Kneeling over him, support most of her weight on her left foot resting on the broken ground, her right knees pressed firmly across his throat without supporting any of her weight. The position put more strain on her muscles than she would've liked but at least Bane couldn't risk fighting back without crushing his own neck in the process. He could hardly throw her while flat on his back with a mangled arm.
"Now," Jazz began, looking directly into the behemoth's pained eyes. "Do you know what you've done wrong?" She asked like she would have done with Danny as a child.
"Yes, Ma'am." Bane choked out. Jazz heard movement and murmuring behind her. She didn't turn to look.
"What did you do wrong?" She asked. It was important to make sure children correctly understood why they were in trouble after all. There was a long pause as Bane appeared to cast around for the exact right answer as if he feared getting it wrong. A bad habit Danny still uses as well, Jazz thought to herself.
"I tried to hold you hostage," He choked out in a rush, words tumbling over one another as he tried to get them all out. "I scared you coworkers and it was very disrespectful."
So he'd gone for the grab-bag response. It wasn't wrong per sey but it did indicate a past history of abuse. The type of answer given by someone who expected to be harmed or ignored if they gave the "wrong" answer. Danny tended to use that method also and their parents had always been negligent at best.
"And are you going to do it again?" She asked giving him a Look as she did. Bane's eyes widened and he tried to frantically shake his head as much as possible with the pressure on his neck.
"No, Ma'am." He promised fervently.
"Alright then," Jazz said giving him a warm smile. She gestured vaguely towards the guards without turning to look at them. "Kyle here is going to take you to see the nurse and then back to your room then. I'm sure you'll behave for him?"
"Yes, Ma'am. I'll behave." Bane said. Jazz stood slowly asking sure not to put any additional pressure on his neck as she did. Kyle came and stood next to her as the giant of a man slowly pulled himself to his feet then led him away with 5 other guards.
Jazz heaved a sigh. Well, time to find out whether or not she could play all that off as normal, non-Meta human behavior.

spidey senses ! | sim jaeyun x gn!reader
Tumblr media
synopsis. jake is a bit overwhelmed with his new spider powers…luckily he has an amazing s/o to help him though it genre. spider-man jake!! + established relationship cw. none!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
jake wasn’t sure if he could keep going like this. his head had been pounding all morning and all of his five senses were out of control. he had already come to terms with the fact that he gained spider like powers from getting bitten by a lab made spider, but getting used to them was completely different.
jake could hear his rapid heartbeat in his ears, the person loudly smacking on gum behind him, a dog barking outside, a fly that couldn’t seem to leave the kid two seats behind him alone. jake was extremely overwhelmed, and he had no idea how to calm down.
you noticed how tense your boyfriend looked all throughout class and followed him when he darted out of the room as soon as the bell rang. you called out after him, following jake when he didn’t stop.
he quickly went out the nearest exit, hoping that getting some fresh air would help. it only made things worse and jake began to cry out of frustration. he could hear ambulances blocks away and about five conversations at the same time. every time a car honked he flinched— he simply couldn’t take it anymore.
“jake, what’s happening?” you asked once you finally caught up to him. the boy was on his knees in the empty school courtyard. covering his ears with his arms as he breathed heavily.
“make it stop, i need it to stop.” he whined out. you dropped to your knees beside him, incredibly concerned. jake had never told you about his new found powers, wanting to figure everything out first. he hated keeping you in the dark, but he felt as if it was for the better.
“make what stop? jake, your scaring me.” you asked, trying to keep your voice level as to not freak him out even more. jake couldn’t respond, tears leaking from his eyes as small whimpers fell from his mouth.
you had no idea what was going on with your boyfriend and you wish you knew. but you decided to treat it as a panic attack and hoped that you would be able to help him breathe again.
“focus on my touch.” you spoke up, placing your hands in jake’s. he immediately grips your hands tightly, his breathing still erratic.
“focus on my voice.” you said, causing jake to shake his head but you forced him to look at you.
“yes you can, focus on my voice. focus on what i am saying to you.” you continued to speak, hoping to ground jake. he constantly squeezed your hands and you couldn’t help but notice his strength. you ignored the pain and kept speaking to jake until you could see that his breathing returned to normal.
“sorry.” jake mumbled once he had finally calmed down, bowing his head in embarrassment. you immediately pulled the boy into a hug and placed a kiss on top of his head to reassure him.
“i don’t know what the hell is going on with you— but that doesn’t matter right now. don’t be sorry because i’ll always be there for you.” you mumbled. jake hugged you back, a small smile on his face. he wasn’t sure when he was ready to reveal his secret, but he was glad that you didn’t pressure him and would be by his side regardless.

"falling in love with your best friend feels like eighth deadly sin."

"And if you really think that it's an obsession, don't worry." He spoke again, this time his voice was hoarse as he struggled to speak, his thumb and eyes now wandering around your half opened lips. "I'll take all of it."
𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 : You made a tough decision that left you absolutely devastated. Falling in love with your best friend was unacceptable. You got to leave. The method was slowly vanishing from Yunho's life until he would get used to your abstance. Deep down, a voice kept telling you it was the right choice. However, Yunho never meant to let you go as he stood in your door on one rainy spring evening, demanding an explanation.

Is it possible to feel like your decision, at the same time, is the best and the worst? As if you’re attempting to go both ways, feeling like your body is ripping apart.
You asked some of your friends about it, desperate for a helpful answer.
"Depends.'' they always shrugged, which only meant they had the same idea about it as you did. Read as none.
In the beginning, you thought your approach to the problem would be the best solution for both him and yourself. However, the more time had passed, the more it all felt like the most fanciful of tortures.
Nothing had happened between you two, nothing deep enough that you could hold on to. So why, why did you keep failing to convince yourself that everything you went through was for the best. Was it because of guilt that was eating you alive whenever he looked hurt by the distance you had been widening for the past four months? Or because that was a normal reaction after sacrificing something important for a better cause? You were doing that for both of you, especially for him. Your intentions were good. Why wasn't it working?
And now there you were, completely frozen, face to face with him in the late spring evening as he suddenly banged on your door, ten minutes after you ignored his text once more.
You were now staring at the upset man in front of you. Due to shock, you couldn't look away. You allowed his eyes to burn into you.
He was drenched from the pouring rain outside, standing at your door that you should've never opened. His expression and posture reminded you of a wild animal that was about to attack you.
Your hand trembled on the knob as you contemplated slamming the door in his stoic but serious face. All you wanted to do was crawl under your bedsheets to hide for the rest of your miserable life.
You were wrong from the very beginning. You didn't put on any sacrifice. You've been running away like a coward, and at that very moment, you were about to receive your punishment.
"We need to talk, don't you think?" The jaw muscles tensing up under his skin as he almost hissed the words out.
You had to get away from him, as far as possible. Far away, so it was easier for you to breathe again. It was time to dig through the long list of excuses that, to be honest, you were running out of.
"I was actually getting ready to leave for a night out with girls, so can we…"
His index finger pointed in your face, which stopped you from continuing the poor act.
"This is the only chance I'm giving you to explain what's happening, (y/n). If you close this fucking door on me…" he hesitated but the power in his voice didn't weakened, "you'll never see me again."
The breath abruptly left your lungs. You swore your heart stopped for a second just to restart its beating with double the speed. You heard your blood pumping in your veins as the inner panic unleashed from his words that were like a magic spell.
There was no bluff in his words. He didn't mean to scare you, despite him knowing you were vulnerable for empty threats like that. The warning was absolutely backed up. You could see it by the way he stood there before you, how he clenched his fists, the way he looked at you with devouring anger in his brown eyes.
No doubt, you crossed all possible lines. And you had no idea how to handle the consequences. You knew one thing, you'd rather die than never see him again.
"What do you mean?" You still tried, wishfully thinking he spoke about something else.
No answer came your way. He simply passed you by and stormed inside your apartment. You were too scared to protest, not after the eyes he gave you before walking in.
You slowly closed the door, in need of every second to gather all the shreds of courage you had in you. There wasn't much.
Somewhat ready to get eaten alive by the unbearable remorse, you finally turned around. However, he disappeared from your eyes' reach.
"Yunho…"
"You still have some of those spare clothes I left once after a party?" He yelled from what you realized was your bedroom. "I'm totally soaked."
The last thing you cared about now was wet stains on your wooden floor, spreading from the door through the living room up to your bedroom and glistening in the weak lamp light.
You couldn't form a word, every sound was caged in your throat. The anxiety began its biggest harvest inside you. You felt all the strength leaving your body. All you could muster up was standing on your two feet in the middle of your living room, and that alone was impressive in your current state.
You were registering his steps in the other room. Yunho walked into the bathroom to get rid of the wet clothes. He spoke to himself about how nice that the dryer was there. Then he reentered the bedroom and next you heard nothing but his loud sighs.
"Come here." His voice had little volume to it, but the depth of its tone resonated in your ears and echoed in your whole being. The command was crystal clear and sent a set of sharp shivers down your spine.
You let your feet lead you to the doorframe of your room. However, you stopped them there.
He was sitting on your bed, aggressively rubbing the towel on his wet hair. He wore his plain black T–shirt and pair of gray sweatpants you stored in your drawer after he forgot it months ago. He looked like he had just walked out of the shower.
"Do you hate me?" He asked suddenly, still not looking at you. "Maybe I scared you with something I said or did?"
You wanted to refuse, feeling your heart cracking even more, but no sound left your dry mouth.
He, on the other hand, had a lot to say.
"Did I do something wrong, hmm? Cause I've spent three months going back and forth to all our meetings, and I genuinely don't know what that would be." He laughed bitterly, still drying his thick black hair.
You felt like shrinking while the guilt that kept growing towered over you unforgivably. You had seen Yunho angry before but never at you. Why were you so stupid to think it would never reach you after all you had done?
A tint of sadness invaded his chords, "You suddenly started to avoid me, mumble something under your nose instead of answering me, or you have been straight up ignoring me. You don't pick up my calls or respond to my texts and if you do it's always the same shit 'I'm busy, will call you later' which is bullshit cause you never do, (y/n)."
The tears showed up in your eyes, and you bit your lip to stop them from pouring out like a tidal wave.
He noticed it. The hand with a towel dropped on his legs.
"I don't know, did someone tell you we can't be friends or make you feel bad about it?"
Yes. Me. You cried inside your jumbled mind.
"No." You uttered, swallowing your tears.
"Then what?" He urged, aggressively tossing the towel aside after he turned it into a damp ball. Now, all his attention was paid to you, and you felt bare under his eyes.
"I don't know what to tell you." You whispered, the lump in your throat only grew.
"The truth, (y/n)." He begged. "If you don't want to be friends anymore, then fine, I can't force you. But after all this time and memories we've made, I think I deserve to hear a reason behind your decision. Not to mention everything was fine 'till Hongjoong's birthday."
Him, now linking the dots, made you feel as icy needles ruched in your blood, tearing your veins.
Something did happen at your friend's birthday party. One innocent game, alcohol untying people's mouths, and you ended up begging God to help you erase that night from your head.
You thought you kept your composure after drunk Bona spilled her crush on your best friend. This one sentence that she sang toward him smashed the glass of denial and released all the spirits of truth. The realization hit you like thunder, and the effects never left with time.
After that, you slowly, nor drastically, began walking away. Your behavior should not have been seen as related to that party's events.
If it was so clear to Yunho, was it obvious to everybody else?
Although he was right.
What were you thinking? It is Yunho, we're talking about. He would never leave a problem untouched when he saw one. There was nowhere to run and hide now, and it never had been.
You reached your hand to the light switch and let the room get embraced by darkness. There was no option for him to see the shame on your face when you would be telling him the issue that tormented both of you.
He didn't say anything, handing you the mic.
You walked inside the room and slid to the wall, calling on it for support. You were placed in front of him but at a safe but far distance.
"I love you." You confessed, shaking like a leaf. "I don't know what is happening, but I know I want you so much. Every inch of me craves for you, and I lost all control over my own self when it comes to you to the point I can't sleep at night, eat, or think straight. I've never felt like this before, about anyone. And we're best friends. I have no right…" The guilt caged your voice.
The silence on his side was crushing. That was the end. You had nothing to lose.
You took a deep breath, "That's why I've avoided you and purposely ignored you. I have to stay away, Yunho. For both of our sakes."
You heard him taking a few deep breaths.
"Why didn't you just tell me?" Somehow, his voice bore the accusation.
"I was scared of rejection." You chuckled at your miserable position. "The girls laughed that I sounded absolutely obsessed when I told them about this. They said they were only joking, but I started wondering and got scared. What if I am? You asked if you scared me with something. You didn't. I'm scared of myself. Because…no one sane acts like that. No one sane falls in love with their friend."
As you finished the confession, you dared to look his way. Your eyes got used to the dark, and you managed to see his darkened features.
The left side of his face was slightly illuminated by the dim light coming from the living room. You were watched intensively as he was eyeing you up.
His upper body was leaned forward, his arms resting on his spread knees. He looked…disappointed? Angry? You couldn't really tell. However, his deep breathing betrayed that the chaos you let out in indeed affected him.
The question was how would he accept what you brought upon him.
"I'm sorry." You breathed out on the edge of crying. You felt awful by ruining your amazing friendship. "Truly."
He submerged his finger in his damp fuzzy hair and then proceeded to wipe his face. He seemed deep in thought. You watched how he stroked his thighs a few times before standing up.
"Yunho…" you gulped, seeing him closing the distance between you.
He was getting dangerously close.
"Please, stop."
The man listened to your command. Still, he halted only half a meter from you. Yunho gave you a second to calm down, let your guard down, therefore you had no time for reaction as his arm suddenly reached out for your hand, grabbing your wrist firmly, and began pulling you close to him.
You quietly whimpered, trying to twist your hand out of his grasp, but there was no use. He mercilessly dragged you until your bodies met.
You couldn't look up, not with all the panic thriving inside you. However, he did not mean to stop. You felt his finger underneath your chin, and suddenly, you found yourself looking in his eyes that shone with a new light in the dark room.
"I would never reject you." He let out a firm but gentle whisper. "What do you think that I came here for? To fight for you."
The bangs of his wet hair tickled your forehead. He stood so close to you like he only ever did in your intrusive thoughts and uncontrolled fantasies. You had no choice but to let his scent of cologne and rain embrace you from all sides.
"And if you really think that it's an obsession, don't worry." He spoke again, this time his voice was hoarse as he struggled to speak, his thumb and eyes now wandering around your half opened lips. "I'll take all of it."
The touch of his lips was more than you imagined. You whimpered into his mouth, at which he responded with a smile. You fought not to push him away from the intensity of your surprise. Everything was happening too fast and not how you had seen it in your head for uncountable times when thinking about the face-off.
Yunho kissed you slowly as if he was giving you time to get used to his touch and his taste. He let go of your wrist, and after gently putting your arm around his neck, he carefully wrapped your waist. His other hand moved from your chin on the side of your head. The embrace tightened.
You couldn't say you just allowed him to pull you close to him. You were like a ragdoll. The rollercoaster of severe emotions took away your will to move. He could’ve done anything he wanted to do to you, placed you anywhere he needed you to be. You were completely frozen.
Yunho was considerate of your state and didn’t want to push you. He broke the kiss and pulled his head back to look at you with a slight smile that showed understanding.
"Do you want me to leave you alone? If you need time and talk about it once you’re ready, I’ll wait." He assured you, the gentleness in his tone making your heart flutter. "I’ll wait as long as you need me to."
"I– I don’t know." You stuttered, no volume to your weak voice. "W– what would you want?:
"Can I be indecently honest?"
You nodded, the hope sparking in your heart.
"I want to stay. I missed you so much. For the past months, whenever we met, I felt like you were light years away despite you standing right beside me. So I want to kiss all your doubts and fears away so we both never feel that way again. I want to hold you close, taste you. I want to relearn my name as you moan it all night long. I want you. I've wanted you for so long." He flooded you with the confession that held much more fire and confidence than yours from a minute ago.
You trembled in his arms, grabbing more onto his shirt at his back as he wiped away a single tear that managed to escape and roll on your redden cheek. It felt like a dream, and you felt the familiar anxiety of the moment you would have to wake up as it happened all the time before.
After all these months of pain from keeping yourself away from the man you've been falling in love with, feeling like he was slipping through your hands with your own help, you were a shadow of a woman. You were a ruin.
"What’s your decision?"
But the will to fix everything that was broken smoldered inside you, and you felt that with the right blow of wind, it would turn into impressive flames.
"Stay."
He quickly groaned at your allowance, and your faces got close again. Both his arms now embraced your waist and back.
"Of all the things I just said, which one do you want me to do the most?" He asked, his lips brushing yours.
"Everything." You breathed out without hesitation. Experiencing the long yearning, you needed to feel everything, from innocence to obscene.
Your lips interlocked again, but this time, nothing tamed you for kissing him back as you had always desired.
With every breath between, the kiss was getting hotter, wetter. Your tongues twirled in a wild dance, teeth hooking on each other's lips. With quiet whimpers and moans, you drove each other crazy.
His damp hair was tangled in your inpatient fingers that massaged the back of his head and neck. He moaned in your lips from the affection. The sweet adlip instantly woke up the aching between your legs.
You felt the wall behind your back again. One of his arms left your waist and was placed above your head.
He broke the kiss, "You really thought that Bona's confession meant anything to me?" He panted, his half closed eyes never leaving your lips.
So he found the answer. He did mention he studied all three months of your random change.
"I didn't know what it meant to you. I was too scared to think about it. It just made me realize my feelings for you, and I feared for our friendship."
"And your solution to save our friendship was to stay away?"
"I'm sorry."
He clenched his jaw, and that alone was enough to double your already crazy heart rate. His eyes were pitch black, his brows frowned.
"It makes me really angry." He groaned. "To think your first thought was that I would reject you. That you asked yourself that tough question and saw no hope. That you went for the wrong answer. As if I ever gave you a reason to doubt."
"I'm sorry."
"It's me who's sorry, (y/n)."
You moaned at the speed he attacked your lips again. He didn't graced them for long with his unsatisfied affection as he moved onto your jaw, then sensitive neck.
You felt how his body pinned you to the wall. With the power he pushed into you, he picked you up. You were gasping for air from the waves of pleasure shaking your body as his hungry mouth kissed, licked, and bit on your skin.
"You always smell so fucking good." He cooed sultry, placing his hands under your ass, forcing you to put your legs onto his hips.
He pushed himself with you in his arm off the wall and began walking you two to your bed.
You were released from his tight embrace and let him push you on the sheets. With aw, you watched him remove his shirt, putting his beautifully shaped torso and abs on display.
"Now's your turn." He snarled.
His hands went down to your cotton, loose shirt, and ripped it apart with one pull. Your bare breasts bounced free. You only now remembered you had no bra on.
"Yunho–"
But he didn't care about your surprise. He just gently laid on your side, supporting his weight on his elbow. His chest rubbed on your right breast in a slow massage that had you wave underneath him.
"Goddamn it, (y/n)."
His hand embraced your neck, giving it a little squeeze. You watched it going down to your chest, between your naked breasts, and then lower on your stomach where his wrist twisted to go south. Now, you had his long fingers getting dangerously close to your throbbing folds.
You grabbed the sheets at the touch of his fingertip.
"Ahh.."
"I'm not the one who's getting soaked tonight." He smirked watching how your wetness spread underneath your leggings as his middle finger circled on your clit.
He wanted more, your loud moans too accompanying your flooding nectar. Two fingers decisively entered your pussy as the thumb worked on your pearl.
"Oh my…" you whined, arching your back.
To make your torture more difficult, he leaned his lips to your ear and began feeding your mind with the obscene.
"You're always so wet when I'm on your mind, kitten? Do your fingers fuck this dripping cunt like mine are now when your all alone?" He whispered, his breaths tickling your neck, "I can assure you, I walk hard all day because of you."
The image of him stroking himself fast, rough while moaning your name was a perfect way to bring you closer to the edge as his fingers now fucked you with a full speed.
"Yes." He grunted, satisfied with your whimpers and trembling pelvis. "Cum for me."
Yunho drank the sweetest sounds of euphoria from your lips. Your cute moans were like ambrosis for his ears. He craved for more, his soul, heart, and ego demanded more.
He sucked on the skin of your neck as his hand massaged the last ounces of orgasm from you.
"I dreamed of this so many times (y/n) – my fingers, all sticky and wet from your juices."
"Yunho…" you begged. "Please."
The yearning for him or his words along with skillful touch; you couldn't tell, but something was making you lose your sanity way too fast.
Yunho smug eyes began reading your needs. He just licked his lips before walking away to let the room bask in light again.
With the cover of the dark, you felt more secure. Now you laid there, feeling like there were hundreds of eyes watching you, even though the only person in the room with you was Yunho, who just nonchalantly stood there; one hand on the light switch, and the other, that just were inside you, on his sticked out tongue.
Unconsciously, you began closing your legs, putting hands over your chest, but he was quick to stop you.
He agility climbed on to you. Now you had his weight pinning you down, his slim pelvis between your thighs and his hands holding your hands about your head.
"Don't you even hide from me again." He warned you, looking you deep in the eyes.
His arm found its way under you, and with one pull, he moved you further up the bed before he raised himself and sat on his hills.
"I forgot to ask before ripping off your shirt," he smiled adorably, "but do you cherish your leggings?"
Knowing what was coming and feeling more than just excited about it, you shook your head.
Your soaked leggings and underwear shared the same fate as your shirt. With no hesitation, Yunho grabbed them in his fingers and ripped them apart.
You felt the cold licking your dripping slit, wishing it was that man's tongue.
"I had to turn the light back on." He grinned while studying your quivering folds. "I had to see it in detail."
His brow raised, and his eyes became absent as if they recalled something, a thought he cherished.
"I'm genuinely unable to count how many nights I imagined your taste." He voiced it. "How would you feel on my tongue. So soft and warm."
You shivered at those words. The way he said it, the way he watched you with almost worship… Yunho finally found himself on the spot he longed to be for many months.
"It's all yours." You whimpered.
He looked in your eyes again, searching for a bluff, but he was visibly relieved to see your genuine, needy expression.
"Put your pretty ass up for me, please."
You did what you were told, getting rid of the shirt, well now its shreds. Arching your back as your upper body stretched on the bed, you stuck your slightly circling butt towards him.
A gasp left your mouth as the smack landed on your plump cheek. It was sudden but more than welcomed.
"Somehow, I've always known you're filthy." He snickered, clearly glad of your reaction.
"There are a lot of things you have not found out about me yet." You uttered, biting your lip with a smile.
You flinched from another hit that left a stingy feeling and added another flood of your juices between your thighs. There was no option to not let the moan escape your chords.
"I can say the same about you." He growled as if you were about to learn something forbidden.
You felt how he grabbed your ripped leggings and slid it off your hips, down to your knees.
The warmth of his tongue almost made you cry. You grabbed the sheet between your teeth. Slow, but firm licks were meant to have you beg in a second. However, your taste was too much for Yunho to play the game of teasing any further.
He spread your cheeks and dived in deeper.
The man put his whole spirit to savor you with the way his tongue lapped on your folds, latched on your quivering core. He fed on your uninhibited wails that Yunho could swear were a balm to his heart that almost got broken today if you had not opened the door.
He now knew you were his, the same way he belonged to you. Completely. Equal in this healthy obsession.
The essence on his lips worked like the best aphrodisiac for his nature. He wanted to have you loud in pleasure, trembling in ecstasy. For a moment, he craved to control all over your being. Just so you could feel loved, desired, and perfect. So you could see yourself through his eyes.
His tongue found its way inside you. It was sudden, unexpected but more than appreciated.
"Ahh, yes." You hissed, the sheet ripping in your fists.
Yunho shifted his position to have better access to you. Your eyes rolled back at the depth he was penetrating you with. Long, skillfully muscle waved and curled within your walls.
His thumb began drawing circles around your upper hole. Gently, hesitant at first, but your appreciation for his tease made him brave enough to go inside.
With his tongue and thumb sunk inside, Yunho was at the finish of shaping a devastating orgasm for you.
Your face twisted with unbearable pleasure. Moans sent his way were full of gratitude and admiration for his mastery. For a few moments this man managed to make you feel like flying, see the stars above.
He abandoned your holes when he felt the last shreds of bliss left you. You fell flat on your bed, trying to bring yourself down on earth.
Yunho took his time to climb up your spine with juicy kisses, at the same time getting rid of his pants and underwear.
"Yunho." You called him between deep breaths to calm yourself down.
"Yes, beautiful?' He planted a kiss on your shoulder.
You touched his arm.
"Claim me."
He froze above you. You only felt his hot breath on the back of your neck. Somehow, it had you alerted.
You slowly turned on your back, still caged between his arms. His eyes were dark, full of unknown, to you, thoughts. Maybe what you needed from him sounded too much of a commitment. You confessed your feelings. You made him aware of your love. Yet…he didn't say anything back. Only that he wanted you.
"Will you?" You asked quietly, too scared to put any volume to not scare him away or worse, make him realize it was a mistake.
Still with this mysterious expression, he laid onto you, skin to skin. Your faces so close, you could see your reflection in his eyes.
"Like my life depends on it." He said into your lips, tone heavy with sweet threat. "In fact, it does."
You interlocked in a kiss that felt like a seal to what just occurred rather than simple affection. He kissed you deeply, desperately, but most of all you sensed a gratitude.
His velvet hardness began grinding on your sensitive spot with subtle yet decisive moves, lubricating his length with your wetness in the process.
You broke the kiss from all the air leaving your lungs. He was hard, hot against your skin, begging to enter you. And your pussy cramped at the pleas, more violently each second.
"Please."
He put his forehead to yours. Took a few deep breaths before he finally said:
"I love you."
Only then he allowed himself to push inside.
The words you had wanted to hear for so long and the soul easing fullness have tears falling from your eyes. He groaned at your tightness that engulfed him and spasmed around him. The warmth and your nectars embraced him whole.
You gasped loudly as he moved further, concurring more inches of your inferior. Yunho was exactly how you imagined him to be. Long and thick, with popping veins that rubbed on your walls. You moaned, whined, and squirmed with every push and pull.
"Can I go faster?" He wiped your tears of joy away.
"Yes." You panted. "You can now."
After a slow pull, he pinned into you with power, having you gasp in sudden pleasure.
He leaned on the side, now nuzzling your ear.
"You're taking me so well. I knew you would." He whispered, and if all your nerves weren't already awakened, now they were.
The pace fastened. He was taking you, fully almost possessive. He went deep, attacking your sweet spot with even but strong hits. The sound you made bordered with sobbing.
He raised up on his knees, now straddling your leg. The other one ended up over his shoulder. Only when he re‐entered you, you realized why he chose such a position. He reached depths you didn't know anyone could.
"Fuck." You cried out.
Yunho fucked you however he felt fit, placing kissing on your inner thighs as he hugged your leg while doing it. He winded and whirled his hips as he thrusted inside your defenseless cunt.
The release was approaching with no mercy.
"I'm so close." You grabbed his muscular thigh with both hands.
"I know, baby. I know." He moaned as your walls' texture rubbed onto him even more now that you were almost orgasming. You cramped around him, sucking his width unforgivably.
"Fill me in, please. I need your cum inside me." You couldn’t help but beg when the speed and force he was obliterating you with was too overwhelming. You had to have him burst inside. It was what you mean by claiming you, owning you.
He cursed loudly and leaned over, shifting his weight on his arms.
"You have no idea what you've just started."
The new position allowed the man to put on even more speed and power, pushing you off the cliff, straight to the void of the most heavenly bliss.
The euphoria embraced you from all sides. A flow of your juices flooded his cock, making it harder, too hard to not to explode.
"Oh fuck, yes." He whined and soon joined you in ecstasy. He pumped inside with low grunts leaving his throat, and you melted over the feeling of hot load, every last drop nourishing every corner of you.
He slid out after a few soothing pushes, followed by his semen. Yunho didn't have to watch this physical proof he claimed you. He knew you all his. He just lowered down and caught your weak frame in a tight, warm embrace.
Both calmed yourselves down by inhaling your scents, so familiar yet so new.
His eyes when he finally landed at you were smiling, all dreamy. You knew what Yunho's happy face looked like, and it was all plastered on his features right now.
You felt like your heart was about to burst out of your chest at the sight. He was happy because of you. You made him this joyful.
"You love me." You slipped. The excitement and emotion didn't allow you to keep quiet.
He kissed you and kept smiling.
"You have no idea."
You didn't hide this time when Yunho watched you as if he learned your details by heart. You wanted him to see the woman and all her love she got for him.
"Come." He said and got off the bed. "We both need a long and hot shower."
"Soaking again?" You giggled lazily, admiring this Adonis of a man that now stood in front of you in all his glory. You bit your lips at the view of his glistening pride, knowing it all was for you to love and pleasure.
Seeing your eyes wandering all over him, Yunho couldn't help but smirk at your bluntness. He then leaned over to kiss your forehead.
"Better get used to it."
You realized how stupid you were to think you could live without his melodic laugh.

141 + König Crying For The First Time In Front Of Reader
Warnings: crying, swearing, slightly angst, fluff
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
Simon Ghost Riley-
You and Simon were taking a bath together, enjoying each other's company after a long week. You were facing him, legs planted firmly around his waist as you ran a bar of soap along his body.
Your eyes followed the bar as you began to observe the various scars that littered his torso. You'd seen them in passing, but your eyes never lingered on them like they were now.
Simon's breath hitched slightly as the feeling of the bar was soon replaced by your fingers, tracing over one of the larger scars that marred his skin.
Your fingers traced thoughtfully any scar within reach, and Simon watched how you admired each of them. Your bottom lip tucked in between your teeth as you traced a particularly large one.
"There is nothing ugly about you. You're so beautiful, Simon." You murmured, your eyes still transfixed on his scars, your fingers continuing to dance on his abdomen.
"You tryin' to memorize them?" He teased, his hands falling to rest on your arms gently.
"I want to know everything about you. Down to the last scar." You spoke, your eyes not lifting from his skin.
"They are the ugliest part of me."
Simon's world came crashing to a halt the moment those words left your mouth. Beautiful? You thought he was beautiful? Simon had been called a multitude of things, but beautiful? Never.
When you finally lifted your eyes back up to him, you were surprised to find a few stray tears rolling down Simon's cheeks.
"Simon? Are you alright?" You asked, your voice dripping with concern. You'd never, not once, throughout your entire relationship seen the man cry and it broke your heart. "I didn't mean to make you cry."
Simon said nothing, only pulled you into his chest, pressing a soft kiss to your hair. Before you, he'd never had anyone touch him like you were just now. The gentleness of not only your voice but of your touch had Simon's cold heart thawing rapidly. You made him feel unequivocally safe, safe from the years of torment that followed him, and loved beyond a shadow of doubt.
"You make me feel like I'm worth loving." His voice came barely above a whisper next to your ear as he continued to hold you.
"That's because you are, Simon. More than you'll ever know."
Tumblr media
König-
König awoke with a start, his heart stammering out of his chest. He looked over to you, in hopes to find some solace, but it did little to ease his racing mind.
You awoke moments later to the sounds of slight sniffles and heavy breaths from next to you.
"Kö? Honey, are you okay?" You asked, rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you sat up.
"You were…you were gone…and there was nothing I could do." He breathed out, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he struggled to regain his composure. He was sitting upright, and his grip was iron tight on the sheets in front of him.
Panic attacks weren't an uncommon occurrence for König, but this seemed to be taking a heavier toll on him than normal.
"König, baby, what happened? Did you have a nightmare?" You asked as you gently cupped his cheek, turning it so he was facing you.
Your heart shattered as you took in his tear stained cheeks, something you'd never witnessed on him before. "Kö, talk to me."
"It felt so real, Maus. You were..you were dead. Right in front of me. And I couldn't save you." His body racked slightly with silent sobs as he threw his head into his hands. "They killed you. You were dead."
"Honey, I'm right here. Come here." You spoke, pulling your large husband into your arms. He laid his head against your chest, and you began to thread your feelings through his light brown locks, soothing him gently. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm right here."
You could feel Königs breathing begin to go back to normal, but he continued to cling into you as if you'd dissapear if he let go.
"Don't ever leave me, Maus." He spoke, his voice shaking slightly. "I can't live without you."
"I'm not going anywhere, Kö. I'm yours." You continued to massage his head soothingly before feeling his chest rise and fall deeply, signaling he fell asleep.
He awoke the next morning to find that he was still tucked into your chest, your arms still firmly wrapped around him. He decided it wouldn't be such a bad idea to sleep in, just a little longer.
Tumblr media
Kyle Gaz Garrick-
"You don't have to go on this mission, Kyle. Even John said that it's optional. Our anniversary is next week. Does that mean nothing to you?" You felt tears beginning to form in the corner of your eyes as you watched your husband pace the kitchen.
"Y/N, you're not listening to me. It's not like I have a choice. It will make me look bad if I say no." Kyle exclaimed, throwing his hands up in frustration.
"We always have choices, Kyle." Your voice was eerily calm, and it scared the shit out of him. "It's obvious I'm not yours."
"Babe, please don't make this out to be something it is not. You always do this. My job is important to me."
"And I'm not?" You asked, your voice shaking. "I..I can't do this anymore."
"What?" His heart dropped into his stomach at your words as he made his way toward you. "Don't say that."
"I'm going to go out for a bit. Clear my head." You gently pushed him away as you made to grab your car keys.
"Y/N, wait we need to talk about this." He rushed toward you, grabbing your wrist gently. "Please."
"There's nothing to say that hasn't been already said. I just need some air." You pulled your wrist away from him, and left the house.
~
You came home a few hours later, after some much needed alone time to parse through your thoughts.
"Kyle?" You asked, walking through the front door. "I'm home."
You made your way into the living room and found Kyle on the couch, his face stained red with tear marks.
"I…I thought you left me." He spoke, aggressively wiping away at the remaining tears. "I didn't know if you'd come back."
"Oh Kyle, I wouldn't have left you, not like that." You said, sitting next to him on the couch. "I just needed some air before I said something I'd regret. I just don't want to fight anymore."
"I don't, either. And I really, really don't want to lose you Y/N. I can not imagine my life without you." He grabbed your hands gently, holding them in his as he spoke. "I'll call of the mission. I was so wrapped up in impressing Price I didn't give a second thought to our anniversary, I'm so sorry."
"I know your job is important, but sometimes it feels like it's all that matters to you." You said, your eyes flickering down to your joined hands.
"That's not true at all, and I'm so sorry you feel that way. I'm going to do everything in my power to prove otherwise. I love you so much."
You gave him a warm smile before engulfing him in a tight embrace. "I love you too, Kyle."
Tumblr media
John Price-
John's heart was leaping out of his chest. He'd just gotten a call from Simon while he was driving home after a mission, letting him know the base had received a ransom letter, saying that they had you in their custody.
John had never driven so fast in his life, his hands white knuckling the steering wheel as he drove well over the speed limit to get to your shared home.
~
"Y/N?" John called out, barging through the front door. His heart dropped when he heard no immediate answer. "Y/N, where are you?!"
He sprinted across the entire home, frantically looking for you, to no avail. He felt tears begin to pool at his eyes as he dropped to his knees on the floor. He'd never be able to live with himself if you'd gotten hurt because of him. You were his everything.
It was a few moments later when he heard the front door opening, and the sound of rustling bags.
"John! Baby, I didn't know you were coming home early. I would've been here!" You called out, walking through the front door, your hands filled with grocery bags. "I was just out doing some grocery shopping."
John felt the immense weight on his shoulders immediately vanish upon hearing your sweet voice and quickly turned to validate that you were, in fact, here, right in front of him.
"Sweetheart?" You saw a few tears fall down his cheeks as he huffed out a deep breath in an attempt to compose himself.
Your heart shattered as your eyes fell on his face. You'd never seen him cry before and didn't know what to do as tears continued to pour down his cheeks. "John, honey, are you okay?"
He stood and ran toward you, wrapping you in the tightest hug he could, his mind still not comprehending that you were there, that you were safe. "I thought they had you."
"Who? I'm safe, John. I'm here." You spoke, wrapping your arms around your fiancees' shoulders. "I'm okay."
"I was told that a group of mercenaries took you for ransom. I thought you were gone." John stood like that for some time, his firm grip not easing up in the slightest. "I'd do anything for you, you know what right?"
"I know. And I would do anything for you." You said, pulling away slightly to wipe at his wet cheeks.
"Let's go away this weekend. You and me." He set you down, watching your brows furrow at his words.
"John, I'm okay, we don't have-"
"I want to. I want to get away from the world, from this place. Just be you and I. Let me have that. Let me at least have a few days where I know you're safe." He pressed a kiss to your temple before smiling down at you. "Please."
"A weekend away with you doesn't sound so bad." You giggled, laying your head back down onto his chest.
"Damn right, it doesn't."
Tumblr media
Johnny Soap MacTavish-
"Quit jittering MacTavish, you're even making me nervous." Simon teased, shoving the groom playfully.
"Away an bile yer heid. What if they changed their mind?" Johnny couldn't control the anxiety he was having. He'd heard of wedding day jitters, but swore he wouldn't have them. How wrong he was.
"They love you, Johnny. I know they'll be here." Simon patted his shoulder reassuringly. "Don't know what git in their right mind would marry you, but what do I know."
Johnny's retort died in his throat as the music began, signaling your arrival. He clasped his shaking hands together in front of him, his eyes making their way to the aisle.
Johnny felt his breath hitch in his throat as you made your appearance, you looking as beautiful and radiant as ever, making your way down the aisle toward him.
Unable to control his array of emotions, he felt tears begin to pool in his eyes as he kept his eyes locked on you. You'd never looked more beautiful than you had in that moment, and the fact that you were about to commit yourself to him and him alone for the rest of your life had Johnny nearly in a fit of tears.
Your smile was lighting up the entire room, and he was unable to keep his eyes off of you. The whole moment felt surreal to him, and he couldn't possibly think of a moment where he'd been happier than he was right now. The tears continued to stream down his face as you made your way down the final bit of the aisle to him.
When you finally made your way to him, the person who walked you down the aisle gave your hand to Johnny, and he swore he felt his heart stop beating at the way you looked at him.
Johnny had been through hell and back in his life, and the one constant beacon of hope, of light, was you. He'd never made any better decision, than the one he made to marry you.
"You look so beautiful, sweeheart." He cooed, a few final stray tears running down his cheeks. "I can't believe we are getting married."
"No cold feet?" You teased, your smile still melting his heart.
"Never."
I'll be Here, Don't Worry! | Saiky
Tumblr media
♡ Paring: Saiky x Nyon
CW(s): Panic attacks, slight angst (I think), Nyon being insecure, coarse language
Author's Note: I've used the words "Northern Lights" so many times in this fic it's actually insane. That panic attack scene was not written very good and I think some things could be changed but whatever. Also this was requested by @mitnnvy so I hope she likes it!♡ (art by her as well)
Tumblr media
Nyon and Saiky loved each other. Of course they did! Despite only dating for about 7 weeks now, Nyon felt so cozy around her and Saiky felt the same. The day was cold, it was one of those days in Canada currently. Though the Russian man was use to it by now.
Saiky and him were just chilling in his and Nyen's shared room. He was glad that his roommate wasn't here currently, most likely Nyen would've kicked him out but that wasn't important right now. Saiky was currently flipping through the pages of one of those magazines geared towards girls and young women alike, she seemed really invested in whatever she was looking at. So was it wrong that Nyon just had to sneak a peek?
Saiky was currently answering away at a quiz in the magazine. Something about boyfriends and if you have good taste in men. Nyon sighed, he was about to go back to reading his Russian literature... until he spotted the next question.
"Can your boyfriend keep up with the energy you bring?"
Saiky seemed to have to think about it for a second before scribbling in the sometimes box. Nyon quirked up a brow. I mean sure he's not like a social butterfly like she is but if it really came down to it, he could manage and probably still have enough battery to do whatever she can. But whatever.
Saiky answered a few more questions that Nyon didn't fully pay attention to because he was too antsy to see what the result was... suffice to say, he wasn't pleased.
Why did it ended up saying "You have lack luster taste!" Nyon thought he was alright, though he had to admit that sometimes, he felt he didn't deserve to be with her. But bleh, just thoughts I guess. Nyon laid back on his pillow and stared up at the ceiling. His book was still firmly in his grasp but he wasn't interested in reading anymore. God what kind of boyfriend was he? A bad one? He tried to be alright.
Suddenly he felt a soft weight on his chest, he glanced down and noticed Saiky's head on his chest. The magazine now discarded elsewhere.
"Auuhhh, I'm bored now..." Saiky whined. Nyons ears perked up at this. Well, maybe this was the moment to change it all. Nyon fidgeted with his fingers a but before he spoke up.
"You want to do something...?" Nyon muttered. Saiky quirked up a brow.
"I mean, sure! But what's there to do anyway?... It's kinda cold right now." Saiky mused, causing the man to fumble a bit in a haste to come up with something from the top of his head.
"There's a cafe that just opened, or maybe ice skating... or maybe, a walk?..." The Russian muttered. Saiky smiled and nodded.
"Okay!" The girl then hopped off him and his bed. Before he left though, he turned to Nyon and winked playfully. "It's a daaatttteee~" With that, she left the room. Nyon could tell she was happy with this impromptu date so he had to admit, he was a little excited as well. Even though he wasn't really planning on leaving the house today.
After everything was said and done and both of them were dressed up for the occasion and season, it was off to the place! They conversed while walking to the cafe. It was small simple things but this made Nyon really happy. He liked when his girlfriend went on and on about things. He'd nod and occasionally add something but he preferred to listen.
And that's basically where things started to go downhill, and very fast. First just some minor inconvenience, like Nyon slipped on some ice. Okay whatever. Then when they got there, he spilled coffee on himself... fine, he could deal with it. Since he didn't have spare clothes on him they had to buy some more. He kept getting bothered by a employee that seemed a little too keen on helping, overall making shopping more stressful than it needed to be.
It honestly felt like a montage of non stop unfortunate events for him. All of them simultaneously chipping away at his energy and general patience. His mind and body were begging him to go home but he refused to listen he wanted to make sure Saiky was having a good time! Though it was becoming more obvious that he was starting lag a bit and his movements were a tad bit more sluggish than before, almost like he was super high. He wished he was super high right now.
They were just walking and due to the days events, Nyon desperately wanted to go home. But he couldn't. Not when the day has been so terrible. So he'd suck it up for a little longer, they at least need to see the Northern Lights. The one thing that hasn't gone bad yet today. His steps were fast and stiff, it seemed he was more clingy right now. Maybe it was nerves?
However ssuddenly, someone bumped into Nyon. It was small so nothing to worry about. Nyon didn't say anything and tried to keep walking but the man stopped him.
"Ey! What the hell is wrong with you ya dumb fuck! You bump into someone and don't apologize!" Nyon stopped abruptly, he felt his jaw tightening a bit.
"Oh um, s-" the man zoomed to him and roughly grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. This action really confused him. Why was he so mad? It was just a simple mundane mistake. As the man kept yelling at Nyon, he could feel his heart race a bit. He wasn't scared but so much of his social battery already went down the drain from the day, he'd probably cry.
Saiky took note of how Nyon seemed to grip the hem of his coat and how uncomfortable and out of it he seemed. Saiky quickly stepped in.
"Hey sir, this is all a misunderstanding. If you're upset we apologize but please, we have to be somewhere." Saiky tried to be as polite as possible given the situation but with how the man was acting towards her boyfriend, it made it really hard for her not to rip his head off. This made the man snarl at her.
"Listen here you bi-" Without really intending to, Nyon felt his hand roughly squeezing the man's shoulder. He could probably break it or something.
"I think you should go now. We had a long day and... yeah... leave." Nyon murmured. This finally made the man stop. The man scoffed and turned on his heel before he left without another issue. Nyon's body relaxed tenfold, or maybe it turned into mush? That's what he felt like after all. He let out a big sigh, his knees felt like noodles. He did not like having to do that.
But he supposed it was worth it. Saiky seemed really happy that he did that but she could see how this took a toll on him. Saiky asked if he just wantsd to go home right now but Nyon vehemently refused and insisted he could keep going.
The snow hasn't been too much of a hindrance so far but it was picking up. Maybe a snowstorm was cooking up? However, they persist. The eventually got to the place where they'd view this scene together. But to Nyon's dismay, it was quickly starting to fill up with tourists and locals alike. Oh lord...
It was becoming harder to walk but she seemed really excited. He had to! For her sake at least. He was thankful that he had gloves on because he didn't want Saiky to feel how sweaty his hands were getting.
He didn't want to be here anymore. God, he just wanted to curl up and die! They walked, getting closer to the viewing sight but eventually something just snapped it him. He couldn't keep going. As much as he hated to admit it, he pushed himself a lot today and just wanted to go home. Why was he like this...?
They were so close too! It was right there! But Nyon suddenly stopped and halted any advance forward. His once firm grip become almost unbearably tight.
"Nn.. No no stop..!" Though it was a particularly snowy night and not much could be heard through the blizzard wrecking havoc on the people, she heard and stopped just as soon. Saiky turned around, a little confused by his sudden plea but also worried. He didn't tend to speak much, but when he did it was bound to be worth hearing out.
When Saiky's eyes met his, Nyon looked almost defeated. No, that wasn't the right words. Overwhelmed? Anxious? Who knows?! Maybe a mixture of more. But that look in is eyes said it all. Nyon let go he backs away a bit, he crouches down on the snow and holds his hat tightly. He looks like he's trying to take deep breaths in but the snow constantly hitting his face is making it literally impossible.
"О боже, слишком много... что.. где я..?" He whispered into the snow. Only the catman and nothing else could hear the words he spoke. For someone so tall, he looked so tiny curled up like that. People trudged past them, almost kicking them as they went. Saiky almost bit their heads off, but that could wait. Her boyfriend needed her.
However the constant rush of people coming in to see the Northern Lights weren't helping ease the current condition he was facing. She knew she had better act fast, so she did. She approached him and put her hands on his face, she turns his head to her. She wasn't exactly experienced in this sort if thing, but she'd try. Especially for him!
"Nyon, close your eyes and take deep breaths. Don't focus on anything else but yourself, okay? Just very deep breaths." Though this wasn't a perfect solution to Nyon's panic attack, deep breaths do help. Nyon shut his eyes and did as instructed. In and out, each breath felt almost painful but it was most likely due to the biting winds they were facing. "Yes, like that..! Do a few more..! Nyon kept breathing and his rapid heartbeat and shaking settled down somewhat, at least enough where he didn't curl up and possibly disappear anymore.
She then helped him up and they started walking away from the growing crowd. This was gett getting ridiculous. After they were far enough from all that, they just kept walking on. They soon came to the Ivory house but by the looks of it, everyone was probably asleep already. Nyon didn't look particularly thrilled to go inside yet, like usual so instead they opted to just chill on the roof. She flew up a bit but then realized she probably had to help Nyon up too so, she grabbed onto him and managed to fly him up to. It was a little difficult though to be honest.
Once up there, they just sat in silence. The snow outside was starting to fall at a more leisurely pace and the moon was brighter than ever now. She thought they'd just stay silent forever until Nyon spoke up.
"I don't know what's wrong with me," The Russian man looked into the snowy night as he continued. "I don't mind people but, I think I don't... I don't know, it can get overwhelming. People are overwhelming." Nyon sighed. "I don't think you'd want a partner like that. You'd want some as... good as you. Someone that could handle themselves." Nyon kept his gaze from hers. Was he ashamed? In her opinion she had so much fun today. It was a special day, they both should enjoy it! Meanwhile his hand was rested on the roof tiles. It was just itching to be held!
Thankfully, Saiky would scratch that itch. She took his larger hand in hers and he turned his gaze at her in slight surprise and maybe flusteredness.
"Hey.. don't say those things. You're always fun to be around and not to mention, absolutely handsome!~" Saiky cooed, making the catman blush slightly. "Besides, I get it. A lot of things can get overwhelming and all you can really do is go on and do what you can. Nothing is ever that easy though, I wish it was. Like poof! Anxiety doesn't exist anymore. Yippe!... but y'know." Nyon nods. But just as things seemed to be going right, Nyon's expression quickly turned downcast. Like he just remembered something that completely ruined his mood.
"No, I.. I'm sorry Saiky. Really." Saiky in response, tilted her head in confusion.
"For what? I had a blast today!" To emphasize her point, Saiky made a show of her arms and almost fell back on the roof but caught herself. Then her gaze softens and she giggles, leaning on him a bit. She gingerly wrapped her arms on his and nuzzled into him a little. "You've got nothing to be sorry for. I love you and today was fun!~... Let's just be happy that we didn't get trampled by all those tourists all dying to see the Northern Lights."
"But, you wanted to see them... did you not?" he said with his thick Russian accent. In response the batgirl looked up at him and shrugged.
"Oh, who cares? I'm just happy I got to spend today with with person I love. If today wasn't the day, we can always try again next year and if not, the year after that. They'll come back, so no worries." Saiky added sweetly. Nyon opened his mouth to speak but closed it just as fast. What was he gonna say anyways?
So he kept silent and they just enjoyed each other's company. They stared at each other for awhile until suddenly... Nyon started glowing? No. Light was being reflected on HIM!! She zipped her head to the night sky above them and wouldn't you know? The Northern Lights were shining above them! Brighter than ever before. Saiky squealed and hastily turned him so he could see what she was seeing.
"Nyon Nyon! Look!" she pointed up towards the sky and all the while had a beaming smile etched on her face. The sight actually warmed Nyon's heart a bit. She seemed so happy right now. "It's the Northern Lights!" Nyon nods, unconsciously pressing himself closer to her as all the tension from before begins to slowly drip out of his body.
"See? Everything went according to the plan. I think we had more fun today actually!~" she mused. Nyon softly chuckled and without really thinking, he gently placed a hand on her cheek and looked deeply into her eyes. The strong eye contact made her a little nervous but she stared back. Strangely though, it was all kind of really romantic. I mean, it's dark out, the Northern Lights are shining brightly on them, and they're together.
Maybe today didn't go exactly how it was intended to. But who cares? In the end, everything turned out okay and in her book, that's all that matters. Nyon's lips stiffened into a tight line, as if he was contemplating something. But then his lips relaxed and he slowly leaned in. Saiky seemed to catch on as she mischievously grined and beat him to it. Their lips met in a tender and warm embrace, eyes closed and everything.
They probably would've stayed like that forever but Nyon pulled away, all red in the face and everything. That was bold on him I guess? But Saiky smiled and rested her head on his shoulder as the continued to watch the lights in the sky.
This was a sweet moment and definitely a date worth remembering.
Control Contained
Loki & teen!reader
Requested by Anonymous
Synopsis: the Avengers take you in when you develop powers, but no one seems to be able to help you control them—until a certain god of mischief steps in
Warnings: panic attack. Canon? Who’s that? We’re setting this in the Avengers compound like it’s 2012, deal with it.
Tumblr media
“Hey, I need you to focus.”
You swear Steve—yes, the Captain America—had said that to you at least a dozen times, but you still couldn’t quite get it.
“It’s not working,” you insisted.
“That’s because you’re not focusing.”
“I’m trying!”
Steve’s eyes softened—you hated it when he did that, it meant that he’d given up on being Captain and was ready to be Steve; it meant he thought you were done for the day.
“Look,” he sighed. “I think maybe you’ve had enough.”
“My powers always come out when I can feel them—“
“But that’s dangerous,” Steve argued. “Strength has to be controlled.”
“Yours,” you corrected. “But mine is different—mine is like Loki’s.”
“Not this again,” Steve sighed. “We talked about this. Loki isn’t trusted enough to train new recruits, especially not you.”
“What do you mean especially not me?” You asked.
“Well, there have been a few incidents,” Steve said.
“That was right when I found out about my powers,” you said. “I’m better now. Besides, no one got hurt.”
“Not yet,” Steve said. The grimace on his face showed that he regretted the words the moment they left him. “That’s not what I meant. It’s not your fault, I know you’re trying—“
“But I’m so dangerous that you don’t think I should be around bad influences, is that it?” You took a deep breath, trying to curb your growing frustration. You could feel your powers pulsating beneath your skin.
“That’s not—“
“Why am I even here? So you can keep an eye on me?”
“Kid, stop, I didn’t mean—“
“Forget it.” You shook your head. “Just forget all of it.” You turned to go, but Steve gently grabbed your arm.
“Wait—“
“I said forget it!” You jumped in surprise when a burst of orange shot from your hands, blasting Steve back against the far wall.
Your breath hitched in your throat, and you stared with wild eyes at your friend, your mentor, an avenger, lying on the ground because of your powers. Powers you didn’t know how to use, powers that could hurt people. Steve groaned and lifted himself to his feet.
“You need to calm down,” he barked. “You can’t just—hey, easy, just breathe.” Steve’s tone softened when he saw the way you were trembling and struggling for breath. “I’m totally fine.”
“I’m sor—I’m—I…” you backed away from the man, staring down at your hands. Why had you done that? What if it happened again? You saw Steve approaching you from your peripheral, but you weren’t about to let him.
What if you hurt him?
You wouldn’t give yourself the chance. You turned on your heel and ran out the door before Steve even got close to you.
Loki was a bit wary of being around the new teenager in the tower—mostly because the other Avengers side-eyed him every time he so much as spoke to you, as if they thought he were corrupting you.
He felt for you; he couldn’t imagine having to learn about his powers surrounded by—to your eyes—a lot of heroes, nearly all with superhuman abilities. It had been just him and his mother when he learned how to use magic, and he hadn’t even let Thor watch.
It was as if his train of thought summoned you—if only for a moment. Loki barely had time to spot you before you were brushing past him and running for your room. That was abnormal; you always greeted him, always.
“Are you alright?”
The slam of your door was his only answer.
Someone was knocking. You’d just hurt Captain America, your heart was pounding, you couldn’t catch your breath and someone wouldn’t stop knocking.
“Y/N? It’s Loki, can I come in?”
Your breath caught in your throat—you couldn’t answer.
“If you don’t answer me I’m going to come in.”
You opened your mouth to try again, then stopped. Did you even want to tell him to go away? After all, he was the one you’d wanted to train you.
But what if I hurt him?
It was too late, the door was opening—
“It’s alright.” Loki was in front of you before you’d even seen him enter the room. “Take a deep breath.”
You tried—you really did—but you couldn’t manage anything better than a wheezing cough before you went back to hyperventilating. Your head was fuzzy, your knee was shaking, and you just couldn’t breathe.
“Ok, too late for that,” Loki muttered to himself before reaching for you and grabbing onto your hands.
“No—“ you managed. You didn’t want to hurt him.
“It’s ok,” Loki assured you. “It’s ok. I want you to let it go—all that power that’s going through you—let it go.”
It was now that you saw the bits of orange floating around your fingers.
“No,” you whimpered. “I can’t control it.”
“You don’t have to,” Loki promised. “You can’t hurt me. Let it go.”
You closed your eyes tightly, forcing a breath in, then harshly out. With your breath, you also forced out your powers, pushing them away to where they couldn’t control you.
“That’s it.”
You snapped your eyes open; the orange of your powers was flowing over Loki’s hands and morphing into green. He was absorbing your expelled energy.
You kept pushing, forcing the magic out until you were spent and collapsing in Loki’s arms.
“It’s ok now,” he said softly. “Do you feel any better?”
You slowly pulled away, taking one deep breath, then another.
“Yeah.” You nodded. “What—what was that.”
“You were having a panic attack,” Loki said.
“I got that—I meant with the magic.”
“You’ve been tamping down your powers and your emotions for too long, haven’t you?”
You swallowed. “They—the avengers—they said I had to have control.”
“You can’t have control by shoving down your emotions,” Loki argued. “You’ve got to feel them, otherwise your powers will build up until they just want to explode. If that had happened somewhere else, it could have been bad. But I know how to absorb energy so it couldn’t go anywhere.”
“I don’t want to hurt anyone.” You sniffled.
“Hey.” Loki patted your shoulder. “Your emotions won’t hurt people if you don’t bottle them up like that. I can teach you, really teach you, how to control your powers, and you won’t have to stop feeling. I’ll talk to the team; we will. We’ll convince them, ok?”
“Ok.” you nodded, the ghost of a smile flitting across your face.
“Ok.” Loki stood to leave, but you stopped him with a question.
“Hey Loki?”
“Yes?”
“Where did you learn all that?”
Loki’s face twisted in a smile.
“My mother helped me—when I was just about your age.”
Betrayal
Tumblr media
PAIRING: Agatha Harkness x Reader
SUMMARY: The reader is heartbroken and finds comfort in the arms of her best friend.
Or who betrayed who...
WARNING(s): Cheating, manipulation, and a whole lot of SMUT.
A/N: My fixation for this woman is just unhealthy and I'm loving it. Enjoy!
Y/N POV
"The day we met was the day I was no longer a man of my own because from that very moment I surrendered myself to you and you alone, my Y/N. "
Those were the exact words that my beloved husband said to me during our wedding vows. The words that made me feel like I was the luckiest woman alive… not until now.
Greg looks so handsome when he smiles, the way his eyes disappear with such mirth. Especially right now as he dances, swaying his body to the rhythm of the music. He's not really a fan of dancing but he tried it for me because he knew how much I love dancing, it made me feel special. But now as I watch him do exactly what I had originally thought he'd only do for me, with another woman nestled intimately between his arms made me realize that I wasn't as special as I thought I was.
The way he dances is so much better than how he used to as if he's been doing this for some time now. I originally thought the reason why he's been coming home late was due to his busy work schedule because that's exactly what he's been telling me, I guess I was wrong.
My husband is no longer mine alone…
Tears silently streamed down my cheeks unnoticed as I willed myself to turn away from the scene that turned my world upside down…
The moment I went inside my car that's when all hell broke loose. I screamed and screamed until my throat felt raw and scratched while banging my fists against the wheel.
Cursing his name for the lies, cursing him for the promises, and cursing him for causing me the most excruciating pain I have ever felt in my life.
My heart feels like it has been punctured a million times over by tiny pins. It stings at first, but now it feels as if they’ve left me numb, not even slightly painful, just numb.
How could he do this to me? How could he cheat on me and throw years of marriage into the dust as if it meant nothing?! I gave him everything, I fully surrendered myself to him without reserve as I thought he would do the same to me… oh how wrong I was…
I cried even harder just thinking of his betrayal but I was also starting to panic as I felt my chest constrict, making it difficult for me to breathe.
Damn asthma…
I looked through my bag for my inhaler, but it was not there. The panic and lack of air drove me to start gasping, breathing as if the oxygen had been sucked from the air around me.
I clumsily grabbed my phone and dialed the first person I could think of at this dire moment.
After the final ring, I immediately spoke before the woman on the other line had the chance with labored breaths.
"A-agatha… I need you, please."
"Y/N? What's going on? Where are you? Are you hurt?" Despite the buzzing in my head and wheezing from my chest I can still hear the urgency and worry in her voice as she spewed one question over another.
"Ha-hades Den… please hu-hurry. Can't breathe." I stuttered through the desperate sobs that left my lips, alerting the woman in the other line even more.
"Hades Den? The dance studio? I'll be there as fast as I can, just be somewhere safe and stay on the line with me." Agatha instructed but I could barely hear anything she was saying as I struggled to control my breathing. With my hands cold and shaking I accidentally let go of my phone making it fall next to the pedals.
"Sweetheart? Hey, I'm on the road right now. Hello? Are you still there? Y/N? Please answer me, you're gonna give me a heart attack!"
Already my thoughts were becoming jumbled like I was in a nightmare. Without uttering another sound the side of my face met the tinted window as darkness overtook my vision and my eyes closed.
_=_=_
Not really knowing how long I was out when I was suddenly jolted from my position when the door opened and I fell into the arms of my best friend who without a doubt caught me safely in her arms.
"Oh my God! Y/N!! What happened to you?!" Agatha asked worriedly.
I clung to Agatha’s arms as she helped me out of my car. She held an inhaler to my lips and I immediately took a puff, holding it in for a count of four before slowly expelling the air that tasted of chemicals. It was kinda bitter really, but after so long with asthma, I had come to associate it with easier breathing and so in a weird sort of way I liked it. Agatha put the cap back on the inhaler and jammed it deep into her pocket.
"Ho-how did you know I needed that?" I asked.
"We've known each other since we were teens, sweetheart, I'm fully aware whenever my best friend is having an asthma attack."
One of her hands kept me balanced while the other one cradled the side of my face trying to get a glimpse of my eyes.
The moment our eyes met I could see my reflection in her beautiful blue orbs, and I looked exactly like how I felt…  like shit… making me release another stream of tears down my cheeks.
"Sweetheart, please tell me. What happened?" she worriedly asked again while wiping my tears off with her thumb.
I couldn't really tell her at the moment, I just wanted to get out of here.
"Take me away, please" I softly begged, my voice barely a whisper but I knew she heard me as understanding can be seen in her eyes.
She gently guided me towards the passenger seat of her car and put my seatbelt on me before settling on the driver's seat.
"I'll call someone to drive your car home," she informed me, I softly nodded in response. I leaned my head to the side of the window with my eyes closed as Agatha drove off away from the studio, away from my cheating husband.
_-_-_
"Y/N, wake up. We're here."
I woke up to Agatha's face close to mine as she gently shook me awake.
I was a little bit startled by how close her face was to mine, it was so close that I could feel her breath gently caress my cheek.
"U-um… okay," I gulped nervously, she only smiled before getting out of the car.
Surveying my surroundings, that's when I realized that she brought me to her house.
Agatha opened the door for me and gently took my hand in hers to assist me, leading me inside her humble abode.
Once inside the house, I was met with silence. Too quiet for what I was used to.
"Where’s Nicky?" I asked curiously as I sat down on the sofa while she disappeared to the kitchen.
"Nicky is having a sleepover with his friends. I also gave the staff some days off so it's just us here," she explained, coming back to me with a tray of water and alcohol.
"Alcohol?"
"I have a feeling we're gonna be needing it" she smiled mischievously before turning serious.
"So… are you gonna tell me what happened or should I play the guessing game?" she asked while pouring me a glass of expensive scotch.
"Greg." uttering his name leaves a bitter taste on my tongue. Much more bitter than the alcohol that I'm currently pouring down my throat.
"What's wrong with your husband?" Agatha asked while taking a sip from her glass.
"He's cheating on me."
Shock and disbelief painted Agatha’s face, while I tried my best to keep my tears from falling.
"You're kidding."
"I can assure you I'm not, I saw it with my own two eyes."
As Agatha sat there in shock, she laid it on heavy. "I told you he was no good! He is nothing but a cheating bastard!" After a breath, she continued, "He was never good enough for you anyway." Agatha’'s words rang true as my world started to fall apart.
Finally, I looked up with tears in my eyes asking, "What do I do? Leave him?"
Agatha doesn't even hesitate, "Hell yes! He doesn't deserve someone special like you."
I just sat and listened to whatever Agatha has to say as well as getting a little too deep with the alcohol consumption.
"You see, sweetheart, men like Greg are like damn leeches that suck the life from anything they come in contact with. He doesn't deserve an angel like you." she said with such seriousness which actually made me giggle a bit despite everything, probably because I'm getting really tipsy. I'm also starting to believe every word that comes out from her luscious red lips…
Wait, What the hell am I thinking?!
I shook my head trying to get these… Um...weird thoughts about my best friend's kissable lips and what they probably taste like.
Arghh!!  What the hell brain?!
"Hey, are you alright?" Agatha looked at me as if I've grown two heads on the spot, which made me blush out of embarrassment.
"Ye-yeah… Sorry… I'm getting a little too tipsy." I mumbled before getting up from the spot, which was a bad move since I lost my balance and fell backward into Agatha's lap.
"Well, this is comfortable" Agatha smirked as she wrapped her arms securely around my waist which only brought more blood flowing through my cheeks.
"A-agatha what are you doing?" I asked while trying to get her hands off me but failed miserably. She only laughed at my attempts and I was starting to get irritated not until I felt her warm lips softly pressed against my nape.
I went completely rigid from the contact, breath hitching, and my mind running wild with what the hell is going on.
"Is something wrong?" Agatha asks with a grin plastered on her face.
"N-nothing." I stuttered back to her.
Oh god, what do I do?!
"Are you sure? You seem a little flustered. Especially when you were eyeing my lips minutes ago" she asks before pausing, "It's as if you have been thinking of doing something with them."
"Agatha, I... I can explain." I tried to argue, yet I had no argument in my head.
"No need to, I understand. I've wondered for a very long time how your lips would taste as well," she whispered next to my ear. Her breath tickles my now sensitive skin.
Before I could react I felt Agatha's hand on my arm, I almost jumped out of my skin.
"Why don't we stop this little game," Agatha says, bringing her hand to my chin and making me look into her burning blue eyes, "And just… Give… In."
Oh my god! What should I do? This is so wrong.
"That's enough Agatha. I don’t want that and you won't speak to me like this any longer. I’m not like you… I’m not into women and married.”
"We both know that’s a lie,” Agatha whispered, and I watched as my best friend's hands moved to the buttons of my shirt. I could only watch her playing with it, slowly unbuttoning it one by one. "I think you do want it… In fact, I think you're deeply curious about it. You know I can treat you better, and make you feel even better than any man could."
"Aggie..." I went to protest.
"Shhhh." She whispers to interrupt me.
Frozen in my place, I was helpless to simply watch as my childhood best friend now fully unbuttoned my shirt. Her soft, slender hands move to the inside and effortlessly start to push the shirt to the side, exposing just a little of my bare skin.
"Give in, pet. Let your curiosity run wild" Agatha whispers.
My gaze meets her's, her soft lips smiling back at me as I feel soft fingertips running against my skin.
That's when I decided to surrender myself to this gorgeous woman holding me.
In a smooth and quick motion, Agatha pushes the shirt and it falls over. Only being held up by my arms, yet now my front body was fully on show. Wearing just a lace push-up bra, I remained still as Agatha's fingertips continued to explore my body.
 "Do you like it when I touch your body like this?"
Oh god, please help me.
"Y-yes." I stuttered back, closing my eyes as goosebumps appeared all over my body.
Knowing that I was losing control of myself.
She smoothly moved her head forward, her soft, delicious lips ever so slightly brushing against my ear as she whispers in the most seductive of tones.
"Does it feel good baby?"
"I...I....I..." I stuttered back, not being able to speak.
Closing my eyes and feeling Agatha’s warm breath on my ear makes my legs feel like jelly. I can already tell that my warmth is absolutely soaked.
Her hands explored my back and found their way to my bra strap.
"Cat got your tongue?" She whispers into my ear, her tongue slightly leaving her mouth and licking my ear lobe.
I gasped out loud.
My bra strap was unhooked. Pulling her head back, Agatha’s face was filled with joy as she kept a hold of the bra and pulled it back and off my body.
My body, no longer fighting any of Agatha's advancements allowing her to remove my bra, now sitting with my breasts on show.
With a slow movement, Agatha cups my right breast. Slowly playing with it, she flicks her thumb over the nipple over and over.
"Ooohh." I accidentally moan, my legs feeling weak beneath me.
"Do you like that?" Agatha whispers.
"Y-yes," I whispered back.
She continued to play with my nipple in her hand, knowing that I will soon be too far gone to turn back.
"What about this?"
My eyes were wide open in shock and a gasp escaped my lips as Agatha swiftly laid me on my back on the sofa while she hovered over my flushed body. She didn't waste any time and moved her head forward, her soft, plump lips landing around my nipple. Her wet tongue comes out and flicks it, running around in small circles.
I can't stop myself from letting out soft moans, my nipples have always been my weak point. As I looked down at Agatha’s soft dark hair, feeling her tongue playing with my nipple my legs begin to squirm.
She sucks on my nipple and nibbles down on it with her teeth.
"Oooohh." I moaned louder.
"Aggie, this is wrong." I panted out weakly.
"Yet, here we are," Agatha says, giving one last lick before pulling her mouth away. Keeping her hand on my breast, I feel like she had me lying here forever. "Why are you fighting this?" She asks.
Her hand pulls away from my breast. Just when I thought it might be over, Agatha’s hand returns softly to my pants-covered thigh. Instinctively, I slightly opened it and allowed my best friend's hand to run between them, ever so slowly getting closer and closer to my center.
Finally reaching it, she popped off the button and inserted her hand inside my pants, gave my warmth a slow rub from outside my underwear, and whispered.
"Why are you so wet?"
"I.... don't know." I tried to think of an answer but my mind is somewhere else.
"Hmmm… I think you do know. It's because you want this… need this…" Agatha pushed my underwear to one side; she easily slid one finger knuckle deep inside of my drenched warmth.
"Oooohhh." I moaned, biting down on my lip.
"Am I right, baby?." Agatha whispers, arching her finger inside my warmth, rubbing against my G-spot.
"Ooooh god." I moaned louder, closing my eyes and allowing myself to be fingered right here in my best friend's living room.
My head is a mess, the pure pleasure coming from Agatha's finger just increases when she easily pushes a second finger inside and perfectly hits my G-spot.
"Answer me, Y/N," Agatha demanded.
"Yyyyeesss." I moaned out in pure ecstasy.
"Yes, what?" She asks with a smile, knowing she had me where she wanted me.
"Yes, I want it," I said firmly, opening my eyes and staring at her beautiful face.
This spurred her to increase the pace of her fingering.
"Yes!" I moaned over and over, my G-spot getting hit by her amazing fingers.
"Good," Agatha says firmly and pulls her fingers out of my warmth, "Let's take this to the bedroom."
I know I should stop this, deep down I know this is wrong and that this can only end badly. But right now, I was no longer thinking with reason.
"Okay," I whispered.
She grabbed my hand and led me to her bedroom.
Finally, in the room, she shuts the door before sitting on the bed.
"Take off your underwear," Agatha commanded.
Not speaking, I bent over and pushed my underwear off. Now standing completely naked, by choice, in front of my best friend.
"Come sit next to me."
Sitting down, we stared at each other. For a moment, thinking of what is about to happen made my body almost shaking with excitement.
Agatha’s hand appeared on my thigh and once again instinctively I opened them. Her fingertip moves to my swollen clit.
"Oh god..." I gasped. Looking her dead in the eyes as she slowly massages my clit, sending so much pleasure throughout my body.
As my breathing gets heavier and heavier, my legs begin to twitch from every flick of Agatha's finger.
Not being able to control myself any longer, I moved my head forward and captured Agatha's lips with mine. Savoring her cherry-flavored chapstick.
As our kiss deepens, her fingers move faster on my clit making my legs twitch from pleasure.
My hand started to explore Agatha's body, caressing with such gentleness and sensuality. Landing my hand on her thigh, I gripped it tightly as I could feel myself nearing my release but before it reached that point, Agatha suddenly pulled her hand away from my aching warmth, making me whine in frustration.
Stopping the kiss, I stared at her in confusion. But before I could say anything she placed her fingers on my mouth and pushed it in, making me taste my arousal. It was divine…
With the combination of alcohol and pure lust burning through my system, I began to suck on her fingers as if they were a lolly whilst staring into her eyes, making her groan in approval.
The moment my mouth left her fingers, Agatha stood up and undressed with such speed I could barely process how she did it, but here she is now completely bare for me to see and worship.
I was still sitting on the edge of the bed when Agatha gently straddled me, our naked chests deliciously pressing against each other.
She grabbed my head and held it just inches away from hers, staring at each other's eyes.
"Touch me," She ordered.
Not having to be told twice, my hand goes to her smooth warmth which is just as wet as her own. With ease, I pushed my index finger inside and started to rub it against Agatha's G-spot.
"Ohhh yes!" She moans loudly. She looks down at herself fingering me whilst I fingered her. Looking back up we moaned in unison.
"Oh fuck yes!" Agatha moans out, pushing in to kiss me hard as the two of us finger each other.
This continues for a few minutes, each of our moans growing louder and louder.
"Lie down on your back baby," Agatha instructed as she pulled away from me. I was so close to my release but didn't mind it one bit for I was more than excited about what was to come next.
Lying down flat, I watched as she parted my legs and began kissing slowly up to the insides of my thighs.
She went closer and closer to my warmth until it was staring directly at her.
I turned red as a tomato as I saw how Agatha looked at my warmth, she was looking at it as if she wanted to devour it.
"Beautiful," she whispered and slowly moved forward.
Her tongue pushed inside of me and tasted my nectar. With her eyes closed, she explored my warmth. I can feel her running her tongue up and down my soft lips. In and out of my hole before finally reaching my throbbing clit.
"Mmmmm yes!" I moaned when Agatha's tongue first flicked my clit.
The way she was looking at me right now made everything so much hotter, and with it, a moan left my lips.
Agatha moaned back before getting her tongue back onto my sensitive clit.
"Don't stop,”
I slowly started to grind my warmth back and forth on Agatha's eager tongue.
My legs were spread wide, accepting the finger fucking in my warmth as the sound of my juices filled the room.
"Mmmmmm! A-aggie… I'm close.”
"You want to cum all over my face, baby? You want to cum on your best friend's face?" Agatha moaned but didn't even give me a chance to reply when her hands gripped my thigh firmly and in one quick motion slid her fingers knuckle deep into my tight, dripping warmth.
"AGATHAA!!!" I screamed out in pure pleasure and arched my back as my warmth flooded over Agatha's face. An earth-shattering orgasm wrecked my body over and over again.
As my body carries on shaking as my orgasm slowly dies down, Agatha, still hooked on my delicious warmth, carries on licking me, lapping up every drop of cum as she can while continuously she fingers my overstimulated warmth.
"Agatha, stop." I panted out, feeling too sensitive after cumming.
"Just one more, baby. Give me one more." She coos, with her words I screamed as my second orgasm was ripped from me. This time squirting all over my best friend's face and soaking the silk sheets that she shares with her wife. The taste of my sweet release on her tongue, and the magnificent sight of me squirting was too much for Agatha, making her cum hard with a primal moan.
After cleaning my warmth with her tongue she sits to the side and just stares at me with a beautiful smile on her face, looking quite proud of herself. I can see my juice dripping from her chin and some still glossing her lips which she seductively licks with her tongue, while her eyes are devouring mine.
What a sight…
She starts to slide her fingers around my lips. The fingers that were just in my warmth.
"Mmmm." I moaned as I happily took them into my mouth before her fingers were replaced with her soft lips.
Our lips parted before staring deeply into each other's eyes. All I could see in her eyes was pure admiration, desire, and…love?
"You're mine now, sweet thing, and I will not let anyone come in between us… never again." She whispered before gathering me into her arms with my head resting on her chest.
Her words ring inside my head, but I find myself loving the idea of being with Agatha, not quite processing the last part of her declaration which I gladly dismissed. All I can think about is that she wants me to be hers, and that made me feel like the whole damn zoo was having a party inside my tummy.
"Yours" I softly whispered with a bright smile on my face.
For a few minutes, we just both laid there basking in each other's warmth in silence. The smell and taste of my release filled our senses, and the room itself. It was the last thing my mind processed before letting sleep take me into the arms of my new lover.
_=_=_
It was a little before 11 pm when I pulled into the garage of my mansion, a mansion I share with my cheating husband. Thinking about it should've still made me feel bad, but that wasn't the case anymore. Because all I can ever think about the moment I left Agatha's home was her touches, kisses, and sweet words that she constantly whispered in my ears.
I came in the door a bit tired from the earlier activities but with a glowing smile still etched on my face. I set my bag and jacket on the kitchen table before I saw Greg eagerly enter the living room and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me. "Wow, honey, you...you look glowing."
I just smiled a wicked little before answering in a slightly snarky tone. "Oh, thanks, honey."
If only you knew how I got this glow…
"Where have you been? I've been calling your phone non-stop but you weren't answering. I was so worried." Greg said, his voice raw with worry.
Getting fucked by my best friend in a much better way than you'd ever could… no biggie. I wish I could say these words out loud but I did my best to refrain from doing so, instead, I went into acting mode.
"Oh, I'm so sorry hon. I forgot my phone in my car. I was with Agatha the whole time, and well, we got busy…so busy that the time completely slipped my mind." I explained with my most convincing voice.
You cheating bastard don't deserve a single damn explanation from me, but I'll play your game, Greg… just for the kick of it.
"Well, I'm just glad you're home safe and sound. By the way, I have a surprise for you. I know I've been really busy lately, but I want to make it up to you tomorrow night."
"Oh, that's nice," I answered, not overly excited but still kept on indulging him.
"And to celebrate the anniversary of our marriage, maybe even a bigger surprise for you. I learned to dance." Greg happily announced, I on the other hand am confused as hell.
Shit, I didn't even realize the date for tomorrow is our anniversary. At that moment, Greg stepped toward me, pulled me in, and waltzed with me a few steps. While we danced, he said, "I have been taking lessons twice a week. I know I am no expert dancer, but I wanted to do this for you. I even have reservations for us."
I continued moving with Greg, my eyes wide and in shock as my mind started to spin. I suddenly stopped and just stood there. All I could think was 'this can't be. There is no way it was just dancing. He was cheating on me. He had to be cheating on me.' I had tears streaming down my face as I thought of what I had done earlier.
"Honey, I also took the liberty of buying the dress you saw last week when we went to the mall. I know it's a big surprise but we have all night to dance the night away." I was in shock as I continued to stare at him. And all I could ask is, "How?"
"Well, it wasn't easy. About two months ago, I was talking with Agatha, and I was saying how I wanted to do something big like learn to dance. She said she knew someone who offers dance lessons. So, for a week during lunch, we would work on a few basics in my office. Then, we progressed to going out dancing every Tuesday and Thursday at Hades Den, the dance studio. I invited my dance instructor and her fiancé to join us. I thought I owed them a nice night out after how helpful they have been. I'm so glad Agatha managed to keep it from you, I made her swear not to, so the surprise won't be spoiled. I was quite shocked since we both know she can't even keep a secret." Greg chuckled.
Hearing Agatha's name was enough to snap me out of my trance, "A-agtha knew?"
"Oh, she more than knew. She knows all about the entire plan. Sometimes she'd go to Hades den to make sure I'm progressing. Your best friend really wants the best for you, she's a gem. You're so lucky to have her in your life, in our life."
My mind started racing, and my breathing was getting shallower with every second that passed by. Greg saw this and immediately ran to my bag and grabbed my inhaler.
No… no… this can't be true…this can't be true. It doesn't make any sense… why would Agatha keep this… Agatha lied… she lied… and then she seduced me… we fucked… Greg never cheated… Agatha knew… we fucked… Greg didn't cheat… But I did… I cheated… I'm the cheater and not Greg… I cheated…
My mind was in jumbles as Greg placed the inhaler on my lips asking me to open my mouth… but I don't think I want to… I wanna drown in this asthma and just die on the spot.
Tears streamed down my cheeks as the feeling of guilt and betrayal started to eat me whole. My husband's worried voice feels like a faraway echo, as my mind is consumed by one question.
Agatha… What did you make me do?
Saving the Savior - Part 2
Trauma and therapy.
Song inspo: Way Down We Go - Kaleo (it's the song at the top of his 'stamina' playlist. He listens to that when he needs to keep pushing through something. Playlist is like 185 songs long because he's deeply troubled)
Said I wouldn't write again but here we are.
Warnings: implied gun violence. Blood. PTSD. Panic attack. Death. Death of partner (10 years ago). Shared bathwater (some people find it gross okay? Don't be judgin'). Slight smut. Angst. Fluff. Dork behaviour. Implied diamond ring in a cute box. Cold tea. Hot shower. Crying.
Scene: fem reader comforts Dr Robby as best she can after the Pittfest shift. He falls harder than ever for you and you accidentally find a token of just how committed he's about to ask you to be.
Tumblr media
You stood stiff in the lounge, grasping a long-cooled cup of chamomile tea that you didn't even remember making.
Live coverage of the aftermath of the Pittfest mass shooting illuminated the room. You hadn't blinked in God knows how long, only realising when your eyes stung from dryness; a contrast to the wet tears that filled them hours ago as Robby sternly told you to go home.
It was ten years to the day of the largest mass shooting in Pittsburg history. The day he had lost her in his arms in the Pitt, and the day his walls went up. The timing of today was cruel.
----
Your shift had ended at 3pm, fifty minutes after the casualties had started rolling into the Pitt. Gloria, suddenly sweet as pie, had asked for any adequately trained staff members to help in the Pitt after their shift. Obviously you felt pulled to go. Anything to help Michael.
You got down to the Pitt as soon as you clocked out, and your eyes searched for Michael. He felt them on him and then found you. He came straight for you, fast and mildly furious.
"Get out of here. Please. Go home" he said, desperate and urging.
He was stressed but focussed. His PPE covered in the blood of undoubtedly at least a dozen victims.
"I'm here to help. I want to help." You almost begged him.
He grabbed your wrist and spoke so quietly, it was almost inaudible. But you heard it. "I'm not having you exposed to this level of trauma. I can't knowingly damage you the way I am damaged. I won't allow it. Go home. Now."
He let your wrist go after a quick squeeze and a loving look, and dashed to his next patient. Tears threatened at your eyes.
You looked over to Dana. She'd heard the whole interaction.
"Can't I stay?" You pleaded.
Dana shook her head and ushered you toward the staff exit. "You know he's going to need help when he gets home tonight" she said with her arms crossed. She was right. You needed to be there for you man when he came home extra broken.
And that he did.
-----
Still standing with your cold tea in your hand, staring at the television, your attention turned to the front door which was being unlocked.
Michael. He's home.
You placed your cup on the bench next to where Michael dropped his backpack haphazardly, and jumped up to sit on the marble countertop while he grabbed a glass of water with ice. He quickly finished it and stood next to you, leaning forward into the bench, reddened eyes fixed on the marble.
You could see the stress of the day in his features. His knotted brow. The dark circles under his eyes. His knuckles were blanched as his hands rested in tight fists on the counter top. Neither of you had spoken tonight. Not yet.
You reached your right arm to him, grabbing him gently by his bicep to pull him toward you. "Come here", so softly you lead the way. He moved to the front of you, his hands either side of you, still feeling the cool sensation of the countertop. He leaned forward to place his head at your sternum, and your hands found his hair in a loving and truly compassionate embrace of this man's beautiful mind.
Michael felt safe. He felt secure. So he started to let go, just a little. His tears came first, followed by slightly erratic breating. Hitching in twice, and out once. Panic was coming. He knew it well but so did you.
In an instant he began to hyperventile. You pushed him back a little and slipped off the bench and into his field of vision as he was towering over you, looking down.
"Michael. Michael I'm here. Feel my hand. That squeeze? That's me. That's real. That's now." You tried using your voice to tether him in the present, but it wasnt enough. Michael drifted further into panic. His eyes darting back and forth, occasionally shutting tight in the hopes of shielding himself from the flashbacks.
You took both of his hands. You held one of his hands to your chest, and the other to his own. The jerking of his breath was worsening, his shoulders high to give his lungs extra space to fill.
"Michael. Breathe with me. Feel me breathing?". He opened his eyes briefly to look at you and nodded through his tears, shutting his eyes again in an instant. "OK. Try to match my breathing. Just a couple of times, come on let's try this together. In..." you exaggerated a long breath in through your nose and Michael attempted the same, a noble effort but not quite deep enough. "And out..." You slowly exhaled and he did too. "You're doing great. Keep it up, let's go again". Together you breathed in and out. But Michael was struggling to slow down.
"Hold on a moment, baby. Keep breathing for me. In and out. I'm going to keep helping you. I'm right here" You kept talking to him as you moved to the medicine cabinet and took out a lorazepam tablet from his stash, returning to him with the type of insistence only a nurse could bring. "Here. Take this. It's for the nerves."
Michael shook his head, continuing and escalating his hyperventilation.
"Michael. Help me. Help me, help you. It'll take 20 or so minutes to work and in the meantime, I'm going to look after you. But you've gotta take it. Do you trust me?".
He looked at you briefly, eyes bloodshot and his deep smile lines dragging in pain. "I trust..." two sharp quick breaths in, and one out "...you."
He took the small white tablet from your hand and quickly chased it with some more ice water.
"You're doing so great. Thankyou for working with me. Let's keep it going okay?"
Michael felt light-headed. He had blown off far too much carbon dioxide and needed to sit immediately. He slid down the side of the island bench to a crouch on the floor.
You followed quickly to sit facing him, legs crossed. You held space for him, knowing this would be over soon, trying to convince him of that.
"Shhh. You're safe. You're safe now. It's over. I'm here". Your hand rested on one of his knees as he clenched the gold chain at his neck. This was peak panic for Michael; desperately praying to a God he claimed not to know. His right hand covered his eyes. And he manically recited the Sherma. He was losing touch with reality now, seeking relief in the comforting memory of his grandmothers morning prayer.
His words were rough and hurried. Desperate. He prayed in English rather than Hebrew, but the plea was the same.
Michael's words became clearer. "Place these words of mine upon your heart and upon your soul, and bind them for a sign on your hand", and he clung steadily to his chain. Eyes still covered in reverent prayer.
You joined him and carried on, with Michael suddenly silent in disbelief as he uncovered his eyes to be captivated by you "and they shall be for a reminder between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, to speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you rise."
Your recital had silenced the ringing in his ears and calmed the tides of shaking fear. He looked at you in silence, his breath had slowed considerably and he was present again.
You smiled at him, and shrugged lightly. Unsure if you'd made an error of wording, or of faith. You weren't Jewish. You weren't sure if you believed in a God, but if God existed he was right there in front of you.
"When did you learn that?". He asked, still breathless but bewildered. "Why?".
You pushed your glasses up a hitch and considered how best to respond.
"I love you. Thats most of the 'why' covered. I've seen this happen before and I wanted to join you in prayer. I thought it might help? So I learned the Shema. Thankfully you pray in English because I would have slaughtered the Hebrew version and probably ended up in hell as punishment". You felt unsure of yourself for a moment, but Michael reached his hand out to lift your chin and looked ever so lovingly into your eyes. "Thankyou." His breathing was slowing more, his mind finding peace in your eyes locked on his.
You stood and offered Michael your hand. "Come with me". He rose slowly from the ground and you led him down the hallway to the bathroom. A few candles dimly lit the cosy room, and the steam from the hot bath you'd prepared hung gently in the air.
You spun to face him. "What's this?" he was curious.
"It's therapy. But instead of a couch it's a bath. With magnesium salts and lavender oil and your girlfriend. You're going to take a bath with me. We're going to talk and I'm going to hold you through it. And at the end, the water will go down the drain and take the day with it." You stood on your tip toes to meet his lips with a gentle kiss, and began to undress. He lovingly watched you let down your hair from its high ponytail, his eyes red. He didn't move, though.
You lightened the mood. "If you're waiting for a rubber duck, I'm fresh out."
"Can we not call it therapy?" he asked, a hand rubbing the back of his neck, as you started removing his scrubs.
You rolled your eyes and let out a breathy laugh. "Sure. Let's call it a debrief."
"Better" he said as he kissed you, both of you now entirely bare in the flickering candlelight.
Michael relaxed into the warm water, a gentle sigh escaping his lips as his back rested against your chest and your legs encircled his waist.
You grabbed a wash cloth and soaked it, gently dabbing at his exposed chest.
"Today was..." he started but didn't finish. Twenty seconds passed.
"Yeah", you squeezed the wash cloth over his collarbones, keeping his attention on the present. "But you're here now and you're safe." You kissed just behind his ear and he relaxed a little further.
"I wish I could say I've never seen anything like it, but..." again he didn't finish.
"You have. And maybe you will again. And it will suck every damn time. I can't imagine what you went through today", silent tears blurred your vision slightly.
Michael gentle squeezed at your knees and spoke softly. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so harsh with you. I didn't want you hurting. I stand by my choice but I love you for wanting to help us today"
You ditched the washcloth and started massaging his ears. "It's okay. I get it now. Plus I think my skillset is more useful in the bathtub than the Pitt. Hindsight."
"I don't think it'll ever stop hurting", he said quietly.
"Mmm? What's that?" You encouraged him to keep talking.
"Losing a patient. It hurts the same every time. Saint or sinner, it doesn't change the pain. They all hurt. They hurt because I couldn't save them. I wish I could save them all" His hands were softly resting on your legs now, and even though you couldn't see his eyes, you knew they were weeping.
You wrapped your arms around his chest and nuzzled into the back of his head. "We don't have the right timing to save everyone. Most of the time we don't have the science either, yknow? And sometimes we don't have the resources, like today. But their deaths aren't through lack of trying, Michael. Doing what you can, with what you've got, is the aim. But the wins will always outshine the losses, you just have to let them. And if a day comes where a death doesn't affect you, it's time to take Gloria's job." He huffed a small laugh.
"I'm sorry it was today, of all days..." You started, cautiously but with love "That must have been extra hard. Just cruel."
He tilted his head back, surprise in his eyes, "you knew?".
"How could I not? She is an important part of the man you are today. The man I'm so proud of. I just know she would be proud of you too". A tear escaped your eye at the thought of what it would feel like to lose your love. You kissed Michael's brow gently, the water now slightly cool, bordering on unpleasant.
After drying each other off, you ceremoniously pulled the plug and held Michael's hand as you watched the day go down the drain with the water.
-----
Michael made love to you twice that night. Sensual and sweet and with a worship you felt in your soul. His lips must have whispered "I love you" a dozen times while he was inside you.
----
Morning came too soon, his arms wrapped lazily around you as the sun came up. You scooted quietly from the bed to make him breakfast and pack him a lunch that he wouldn't get time to eat. His alarm would sound in 10 minutes, so you hurried along as quietly as you could manage.
A banana and a ham sandwich. You laughed at how pathetic your attempt was, but knew Michael would chuckle at the penned inscription on the banana. 'undress me and put me in your mouth'. Such a dork.
In your hurry you accidentally pushed Michael's backpack off the bench where it had been leaning precariously from the night before. The sound woke him and you heard him yawn and stretch. Picking it up from the ground, you quickly gathered its contents to pack with his lunch. Wallet. Keys. Pens that he definitely stole from nurses who will now have beef with him. A little blue velvet box. Your breath caught in your throat. You heard Michael's footsteps in the bedroom and hurried to cover up the very obvious situation.
You sheepishly sipped your coffee as Michael wearily padded toward you. You placed your cup on the bench and he pulled your head into his chest, planting a kiss on your messy hair. "Morning, beautiful, you're up early?"
You eyed him lovingly. "Yeah, something was poking me in the toosh at 6:15." and you nudged him.
"Must have been dreaming about you. Not my fault" he said with his hands raised. "You're off for 4 this weekend right?"
"Mmmhm" you agreed.
"Me too. Come to the cabin with me. Weather's going to be amazing. We could hike. Swim. Maybe just spend four days in bed together?" He winked.
"You lost me at hike but you had me back at bed. I'm for the sheets, not the streets Michael, you know that" you chuckled.
He looked a little panicked but covered it quickly. "Well you can either come with me on a hike to a breathtaking lookout, or stay in bed alone while I go. No wifi, remember".
You feigned imminent death with the back of your hand across your forehead "no wifi, how will I cope?" Your response next was deadpan but playful. "Fine. I'll hike. I'll even pretend I love hiking"
His hand grazed your stomach as he moved toward his backpack, peeking inside it and smiling to himself - probably at the banana but maybe at the velvet box - "Trust me, there's nothing on earth quite like this view. I promise, you'll remember it forever."
Your heart skipped a beat or ten, as Michael went and turned on the shower. Your brain consumed with what might - will - happen at the lookout.
"Showers lonely!" He yelled from the bathroom.
You rapidly joined him in the shower and he had you pinned against the wall under the scorching water in under two minutes. Not long after, you whined his name into his neck and you both unravelled in the steam together.
Michael headed off to work ten minutes later, handing you his credit card as he kissed you goodbye. "Buy yourself some hiking gear. I need you to be comfortable so go for the good stuff."
The door clicked shut and you immediately started daydreaming about the upcoming weekend away. The whole trip was so Michael-esque. Rugged and wild, measured and planned. And just a hint of sparkle.
A crazy one-shot idea
You are a minor in this! Phillip Graves is your (asshole) father!
Bravo 0-1 is Price, Bravo 0-2 is Ghost, Bravo 0-3 is Gaz and Bravo 0-4 is Soap.
Tw: referenced sexual assaults (not implied in the fic), violence and death and torture threats.
Homejacking
Being on your own after your father left for another shaddy mission or whatever he was doing was the usual for you. You were taking care of yourself just fine, in your suburban house.
Phillip Graves, your father, had always insisted that you had a normal life. Well normal as it could be. Your mother divorced your father when you were 7 year old and left to Brazil to marry a model, leaving your full custody over to your father. The same father that trained you on weekends and evenings on military exercises, strategy, so you could take his place after he retires.
He never had asked for your opinion on that matter.
Your father only saw his legacy in you, not his child. You were a trophy, something to be crafted into a greater thing.
As you closed your laptop and sighed, comfortable in your bed, you realised that you didn't get the dog inside the house. Tobias was a Belgian shepherd, your father bought him to be a guard dog. Yes Tobias was good at his job but you didn’t want him to be outside in the rain.
Making your way to the backdoor in the kitchen, you wrangled it open. The rain was pouring insanely, it was crazy.
"Tobias! Come here baby boy!" You screamed, hoping the poor dog could hear you.
And that's when you heard it. A whimper. A whimper coming from inside the house. Slowly, closing the door, you then noticed muddy shoes prints on the pristine floor.
You grabbed a kitchen knife, following the shoes, which led inside the too dark, calm and silent living room. Hearing whimpers, your eyes adjusted to the shadows, and saw Tobias laying down, as if he was paralysed. His eyes searched for yours, and you approached the poor animal.
"Tobias..." You muttered, petting the dog lightly, he was alive but... he was hurt. Poor thing.
Your father may be shitty at a lot of things but he taught you how to defend yourself and how to spot an opponent... And there was one behind you. Standing up quickly as the man attempted to grab you, you completely forgot the kitchen knife laying near Tobias, and you leaped above the coffee table to run to the front door. The man behind you attempted to do the same but failed miserably.
A man guarded it, wearing a skull mask. He was massive, way taller than your father will ever be. You froze almost immediately at his sight.
"Get them!" Another man spoke, voice muffled through the mask, as he attempted to stand up from where he had fallen.
His cold eyes laid on you and you screeched when he ran. You attempted to reach for the stairs but he was too quick: struggling against him, you gave him a few elbow kicks in the face and in the chest.
"Goddammit they're feisty one!" He groaned with a pained voice.
Miraculously, you slipped from his grasp and didn't want to waste time. You gave a good and hard kick in his groin. He let out a strangled cry, kneeling down, reaching for his private areas.
"Fuckin' brat!"
As you ran up the stairs, desperate for an escape, you collided with something heavy, that instantly grabbed you roughly. You instantly started to fight again but your hands were tied by rough rope that hurt your skin.
"Got them." The voice was Scottish. The accent was very heavy.
"Bring them to the living room."
Four men wearing skull masks stared down at you. Or more like, glared at you. Breathing heavily, on the verge of a panic attack, your eyes couldn't leave the sight of your dog, who didn't get up.
"You killed Tobias...?" You whimpered, as tears rolled down your cheeks.
"No. Just paralysed. He will be okay in a few hours, don't worry." The leader talked and crouched in front of you. Were they all English or something? "You're Graves' kid right?"
You nodded, more tears rolling down your cheeks. So this was because of her father...
"Eyes on me." The leader grabbed your chin, his touch soft. "Deep breaths. You're going to be okay."
Your mind couldn't comprehend his words. You knew some torture, and you knew how some men were with their hostages. The man seemed to sense what you were thinking.
"It's not what this house does, kid."
"We're more into ripping fingernails and teeth." The man you kicked in the groin said with a groan.
"Careful, Bravo 0-2."
"They kicked me in the nuts!"
And they wanted to do it again if they could. You watched as two men left to search the house, including the one who had grabbed them earlier. You felt nervous and terrified under the glare of 0-2 and you genuinely believed the man was going to rip your teeth off.
"Can't find it, sir." A young voice alerted the leader, from upstairs.
"Shit- so he doesn't have it."
"What do we do with the kid now?" The Scottish voice asked, gesturing to them with his riffle as he walked back to the living room.
"Still have the serum?" Bravo 0-1 asked.
"Aye sir." Bravo 0-2 replied, already picking it up.
"What- what are you doing?" You stammered as the buff man approached with a wicked looking needle.
"Don't worry. That will knock you up for a few hours. It's harmless, okay kid? We will put you to bed with your dog. It's going to be alright." The man spoke, trying to sound reassuring. "0-4 held them down." Bravo 0-1 commanded as you trashed against the men.
Bravo 0-2 planted the needle in your shoulder, and you felt gradually going rigid. Bravo 0-3 then grabbed you, as you let yourself go, inanimate. Everything was slow and hazy. You couldn’t really make out what was happening until you were delicately put down in your bed, blankets up your chin and tucked softly. You recognised Bravo 0-4 carrying Tobias, putting the dog on the bed, before he pet your hair softly.
When you woke up the next day, everything was... normal. You did wonder if that was a dream or not. Should you bring it up to your father when he comes home? Probably not.
Masks of Nobility – Chapter 15
The hunting lodge stood quiet among the trees, a world away from Rattay’s stone walls and courtly obligations. Here, Hans wasn’t a lord. Here, he could breathe.
Henry rode beside him, his horse trailing close, the scent of pine and earth clinging to his worn armor. The silence between them was companionable—comfortable—until Hans glanced over, a familiar smirk tugging at his lips.
“First to bring down a stag wins.”
Henry arched a brow. “Wins what, exactly?”
Hans shrugged with exaggerated innocence. “Undying glory. Bragging rights. My eternal admiration.”
“You already give me that.”
“Then I suppose you ought to give me something if I win.”
Henry’s grin was slow, dangerous. “You’ve got no chance.”
They spurred their horses on, the challenge lighting a fire beneath them both. Hans didn’t need to hunt—he could have servants do it for him—but wanted was different. Henry was different. Everything felt sharper with him—his senses, his blood, his desires. He felt alive.
And when Hans did lose—by one measly rabbit, no less—he swore Henry had cheated, despite there being no possible way. Their bickering turned into laughter, laughter into a chase through the woods, and when they finally collapsed into furs by the fire that night, flushed and breathless, it was less from running than from what followed.
Hans kissed Henry like a man starving. There was no pretense here, no mask of noble indifference—just heat, want, and the desperate need to be touched, to feel. Their clothes were discarded without care, their bodies tangled with practiced ease, as if the woods themselves had been waiting for this.
They didn’t speak much—words weren’t needed. Just the gasps, the soft moans, the names whispered like prayers in the dark. They made love like it might be their last night on earth, and when it wasn’t, they did it again.
Later, Hans lay tangled with Henry, his head resting against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. His fingers traced idle patterns across Henry’s skin. The fire crackled low, and the air was thick with smoke, sweat, and something fragile.
Hans spoke softly, voice rough.
“You’ve ruined me.”
Henry’s fingers stilled in Hans’ hair. “That’s one way to say thank you.”
Hans smiled faintly, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Before you, nobility made sense. Do what’s expected, keep control, never feel too much.” He swallowed. “Now, I can’t even pretend. Being Sir Capon—it feels wrong. Small. Like I’m playing a part in a play I never wanted.”
Henry said nothing, just held him tighter.
“It’s your fault,” Hans continued. “You made me want more. Not just bed-sport or tavern games—more. You made me feel like I could be someone else. Someone… free. And now, I can’t go back.”
Henry leaned up, kissing Hans’ brow, his voice low. “I don’t want you to.”
Silence stretched between them, comfortable in its weight.
Then, Henry exhaled. “I should tell you something.”
Hans lifted his head, frowning slightly.
“The panic attacks—the nightmares. They never stopped, after Skalitz. Some days, I feel like I’m back there. Dying. Losing everyone I cared for. It’s like a storm in my chest. I’m scared, Hans. Scared of losing you, scared of not being enough. I hide it because… because you have so much already on your shoulders.”
Hans stared at him, stricken, then slowly reached out, cupping Henry’s face.
“You idiot,” he whispered. “You think I care about any of that? You are enough. You’re everything.”
And they kissed again, slow this time, tasting the salt of tears neither of them admitted to.
The next morning, they returned to their usual rhythm—racing to bring down game, mocking each other’s form, turning everything into a competition.
When Hans proudly waved a handful of crushed belladonna leaves, Henry nearly dropped his own fully intact plant.
“You idiot, I told you we needed the roots.”
“I got mine first,” Hans said smugly.
“You got rubbish. Mine can be replanted.”
“Yours smells like horse piss.”
“Yours is useless.”
They bickered the entire ride back to the lodge, Hans insisting his leaves would suffice, Henry threatening to let Jikta decide whose was superior.
Still, as they bedded down that night—Hans wrapped around Henry like ivy, Henry’s hand curled in his hair—there was only peace.
And in that moment, Hans thought: if this was ruin, he would never be whole again.
And he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Matilda- Simon 'Ghost' Riley
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Based on a request:
Ghost finding out his s/o has a bad family, who she doesn’t keep in contact with but talks shit about and is like. Pretty open about how fucking awful her past was? if it’s too much I get it but like- I used to love your angst posts :3 they were so yummy! --- F!Reader, 18+, angst, comfort, family issues/trauma, mentions of SA/rape, mentions of eating disorders, toxic!family, mentions of child abuse, so...trigger warning!! ---
A/N: this is me trauma dumping so I'm sorry if it isn't perfect
Simon knew, he knew well that you weren't so open to starting a family with him for reasons he knew best to respect. But, one day, without him even realising he asked the question, you sat down and told him the story your teary eyes held for so long. As he listened to you explain the stories, he noticed how he wasn't speaking to his wife but to the little girl, his wife once was. The one who was left in a cruel world to people who shouldn't have had kids. "So, they...abused you?" He carefully asked and when he noticed you pause, he knew the answer you didn't. "I...I don't think so," your soft words spoke.
Nothing about the way you were treated seemed especially alarming 'til now
"What I know is that they were mean, evil to me. I was a kid...how was I to know right from wrong so easily?" You held his hand, support you failed to have as a child. Then, you told him the story of a young R/N. "I don't remember the exact age, but I could've been 5 through 8. I was there, he took me to his room, I thought we were going to play and he said we would so would I have known, you know?" Your innocent voice spoke the fear he held. "I don't remember much of that day but in glimpses, if I look too deep, I can see his hands between my thighs, and how he...well...you know," you couldn't explain, it was like a knot in your throat prevented to cause your heart more harm. "And you didn't tell your parents?" His voice is soft. You shake your head, "No, I...as a kid, they never believed what I said," you chuckle out of coping with it all.
"There was one time when my older sister tried to suffocate me, I didn't do anything to deserve it, all I did was watch cartoons and she annoyed me but I knew best and didn't feed into what she wanted from me." You pause and wipe some tears away. Your gaze never fell on his, afraid to break down too easily if you stared at the man who became home to you so long ago. He was that, he was comfort and home and you knew that if you stole one glance, you would be sobbing the stories. Your hand held his tighter, he knew well it was for comfort. "She pressed the pillow tight on my head, I was sick and my stupid lungs couldn't take the fact I had pneumonia, so of course killing me would be easier," you chuckle again. His gaze never left your delicate face and even he had to admit he cried as you told him these stories.
After a long sigh and pause you continue, "I somehow pushed her off me and ran to my parent's room, knocked loud and when my dad opened the door I swore I finally felt safe until I didn't," You know he was ready to ask why but you just laid your head on his shoulder. Looking off into the distance you continued, "My sister told them I pushed her, told her that I hated her, which is not true because hate is strong and she is my sister," you shake your head. "I cried when they didn't believe me, and had a panic attack in their room. and when I backed into a corner as my mother and father yelled at me...that's when they took my sister to the hallway and my mother stayed with me, she tried to hug me but I didn't need none of that...not from her." His hand rubbed your arm, knowing what you needed from him. You wipe some tears away, your breathing hitches and he wraps both arms around you. "I didn't hurt her Simon, I swear I didn't but no one believes me, no one," you whisper the last part. "I know you didn't, my love," he kisses your head and continues to rub your arm.
"I believe you, I'll always believe you before anyone else," he reminds you. "I...my mother gave me water and sent me to my room, told me to just sleep it off," you stop and cry. "Oh my love," he whispers and carries you onto his lap. The pouty frown broke his heart more and more. The cosy home he and you made for the years of your life, warming up his belief that slowly, he will replace all those bad years. The fireplace radiates heat on the snowy winter day. "In this world, I'll always believe you, no matter what, okay, my love?" He looks down and you nod. "That's my girl," he says and places a blanket over you both. "Do you want to continue, my love?" He asks, rubbing your back with his warm touch.
"I do," your voice is small. It was best to open about this and then burn it and let the ashes fly away than to keep it locked in for eyes to see. "I...as I grew up, I knew I had no place in that house. My mother shamed me for my body, and so did everyone in my family." Your head nuzzling onto his chest like a cat finding comfort. "So, I starved myself to be the perfect daughter. I did try to be perfect, I tried to get an I love you, a simple smile or hug." He nods, understanding where you came from. "One time, my mother grabbed my stomach, she told me I was fat and looking back at how I was at that age, I...I was healthy, nothing was ever wrong with me, nothing," you repeat in a whisper.
After a long time of comfortable silence, you speak again. "As I grew older, they made me feel terrible about all of me, how I dressed, if I did my makeup, my hair, my body, the stretch marks that decorated my body, all of it and even I wasn't allowed to have one bad day, not one." He shook his head and in that instant, he understood why all those years of loving you, you always avoided starting a family conversation. You were afraid to be like them, to persist in a cycle of never-ending trauma. He knew you loved him, he knew how much you yearned to be a mum, to watch him and you become parents and do foolish things for and with your child.
"I never understood why I was so insecure over my thighs or why I hated when people touched them, but as I grew older and noticed that I was...you know... I..um.." You could never be admitted, never say you were raped as a child, not when you were scared to acknowledge it again. "I know love," he responds so you don't torture your heart anymore. "But...when I realised what happened to me, that's when it all hit me and there was a time in my young life that I knew I would never forget," you kept holding onto his torso. "It hadn't been long after what that...person...did to me when my mum and sisters pinned me to the ground, they knew then that I disliked people touching my thighs so they pinned me to the ground and touched them," you shake your head, trying to forget the moment. "They...th-they touched my body as I cried and begged for them to stop and not once did anyone stop or help me. My father walked by and he...he just laughed and kept walking...how...how can you do that?" You cried. "How can a parent do that? I was a kid, Simon...a child," you broke down.
"And don't get me started on why I felt like Christmas was just not a happy holiday anymore." Your mind went to a past Christmas, your family yelling, your father accused of his cheating, never denying, just lying and yelling at your mother. You hid in a closet, grabbed headphones and played music loudly. Hours passed and your mother saw fear within her eyes as she cried to you, why can he love me? she asked as she cried, you played strong. Your father drove away, leaving his family scared and cornered in a bathroom, crying as they listened to stories.
"My dad used to hit me, well, my entire family really," you confessed. His eyes widened, he knew they were bad, but not this bad. "My dad had a belt he used to hit me with, my mother and sisters used to watch. One time, they added more fuel to the fire as they told him more lies to get me into more trouble, part of me thinks they loved to watch me cry and get hit." You so innocently say, "When I was a kid and even as I grew older, my mum and dad would hit me and tell me they did it because they loved me." He shook his head, "Never...never in your life do you dare think that way. If I even dare to lift my hand at you, you leave me, my love. Because no matter how much you or I love the other, abuse doesn't equal love," he cups your face. You nod.
You learned one thing from Simon as he listened, that he was calm after the bad storm. He had his troubles, yes, but never would he be like them. He and you healed the other after all those years of a bad life you lived. You and him, sunshine to the other even in the darkest of the night. He has become light and a new beginning. Family. And as you admire the soul who can tell which smiles you are faking, you know that the little girl in you is finally safe. She has packed her dolls and sweater, moved to the countryside, grew up and fell in love with a man. A man who is home, a man who became the grown-up little R/N runs to when scared. For he is home, he is light and he is love. He is your man, your safe place and the one you find comfort in.
I don't believe that time will change your mind In other words I know they won't hurt you anymore as long as you can let them go
"No more," he told you, you looked up at him in confusion. "No more?" you asked and he shook his head. "From this day on, you are not their blood, you are a Riley, you are R/N Riley and never will you be associated with them." He cupped your face. His tone was stern as he tried to make you listen to him. "They are not family, my love. They are strangers you lived with. And me...I am your family, we don't need another shit Christmas, we can...hm...we can have dinner here, or maybe get takeout and watch your favourite movies all day and night. Hey, who knows, maybe that Santa Clause man will come in the night as we sleep and hopefully you've been nice my love because I want him to bring you some good gifts," he chuckles as he cups your delicate face. You laugh a little, "Hey, look who's back, that cute laugh of yours my love," he kisses your lips and pulls you to him, closer than you already were.
You can start a family who will always show you love You don't have to be sorry for doing it on your own
In this lifetime, you will learn many things and you will meet many people. Most of which will come and go. Those who stay, you may ask? Well, they become a family, maybe not a biological one but it's not blood that relates two strangers. It's memories, it's understanding, growing, living and loving. Family is him, family is the old lady or that professor you bonded with. Family is people who make you feel safe and at home. For if you are lucky, in this life you will find your Simon Riley. The person who wraps you in a warm blanket and loves you a little more when you hate the reflection in the mirror. And if you get even luckier, you will find that not only will it be Simon Riley who heals your old wounds and covers them in kisses and caresses. You will find yourself, maybe in ten years, getting covered in glitter, mud, and stickers and having the walls of your home drawn on by Simon's child. The love child that was created on a warm Christmas morning. The same one that wakes you up at six in the morning to go and see what the big red man brought them for Christmas.
And if you are lucky enough, you will find peace. The same one you looked for since age 5, the same one you cried for throughout the years. Maybe it won't come this year, but if you are patient enough, you will find it and when you do, appreciate it because you cried for it many moons ago.
You don't have to be sorry, no
A/N: the tears I shed as I wrote this made a river. Anyway, thank you for letting me dump years of trauma with this one, love you all <3
you had been so excited for this party to come all week. despite not being as regular to these events as you had been during your freshman year due to the increasing and dangerously tilted montain of assignments pilling on your dorm desk, you accepted the invitation (obligation) to this one; under the premise, on jake's words, of 'the greatest party of the semester'.
you had met on your first period of uni and never looked back ever since, so his criteria was certainly relevant to you. besides, after all your finals and the ridiculously hot june you had to endure during lectures; you told yourself a change of routine for once wouldn't be bad.
what you certainly didn't expect was to be lost and alone in the middle of the crowd, which was clearly way to big for the existing space inside the house. your eyes panicked across the room, afraid of the constantly increasing mob and looking desperately for a way out.
as soon as you located the nearest exit, which you could only assumed to be a sliding glass door towards the backyard, you tried to skip the people and get there. of course, that wasn't as easy as it sounds.
you could feel the different fabrics rubbing against your skin; the strong smell of alcohol, sweat and substances you probably wouldn't like to identify getting on your nose; the pushes of taller, stronger frames than your own making you stumble along the way. your breathe became a little heavier.
just when the distance between you and the getaway from the unberable, thick air became closer and hopeful, an obstacle blocked your view.
"hey" the man spoke, his lingering tone unveiling his intentions right away "have we met before?"
no, you haven't, and you were honestly thankful. his dark gaze glanced up an down your figure, suddenly making you feel self aware amid the previous agitation.
"i really have to get somewhere right now. so, if you excuse me" you didn't want to be rude. not on account of the guy's self esteem or something alogn those lines, but because his twitching mouth and flaring nostrils instantly told you 'a few drinks' wasn't the only thing he had consumed that night. at this point, your head was pounding.
you tried to pacifically surround him, but he moved to get once again in front of your way. great, back to square one.
"my boyfriend is waiting for me outside" you inmediately blurted out. if you had learned something over the years, if that violent men respect other manly figures. even though that was a incredibly obsolete mentality and a even greater big, fat lie; the boyfriend-card had never proved you wrong. at least, not until now.
"oh, he is?" he got closer to you, the stench of his breathe making your eyes glossy "and who is that boyfriend of yours?"
the word panic fits to small to describe the feeling you contained at that second. sure, you could came up with a random name, but at that moment you were feeling so saturated that you couldn't think straight.
"hey, i was looking for you" you felt a sleek arm sneaking at your waist "thanks for keping my girl company" he nodded at the stranger with a tight expression, pulling you away from him.
it wasn't until that moment that you clearly took a look at his face, your stiff spine suddenly relaxing as he guide you towards the outside. the fresh air of the night died your nerves down, letting you unconsciously gasping.
"are you okay?" heeseung asked; his dark eyes showing concern, his hand still resting on the small of your back.
"thank you for that, you didn't have to"
heeseung raised an eyebrow at your statement "do you think i'm some kind of monster to leave you with that?"
"no, of course! not at all!" you exclaimed "i mean, i don't know you that much but jake always tells me good things about you-"
"chill, i was just joking" he chuckled lightly. and oh, his laugh was adorable. the both of you stood there, way too close for just two acquaintances; though neither of you seemed to care "wanna know a secret?" he suddenly uttered.
"jake's always putting on a good word for me cause i asked him to do so" he spoke softly, your gazes connecting in a state of ecstasy.
neither of you were completely sober, which is probably why the following words came so easy to you "i kept asking him to tell me more, though"
he blinked, not fully processing the information. an almost childlish grin creeped into his face after a few seconds.
"does that mean you would like to go on a date with me?" he blurted out, his ears reddening in embarrasment.
but you never noticed cause your eyes never left his, as you witnessed dazzled how his orbs transformed into crecent moons when you rapidly nodded in agreement right before pulling him in.
fiddleford being gentle with little stan when he first finds him after ford goes through the portal? maybe he comes to yell at ford and finds stan with a burned shoulder trying to work through being little to get his brother back? ❤️
Hey guys and the anon who requested this, I’m so sorry it’s so late, life got away from me, has been hectic, and I wanted to really put my focus into writing this request. If there are any missing “I” in a word, deeply apologies, my keyboard “i” cover broke halfway through writing this. There are some mentions of infections and medical treatment for Stan’s burn, just to warn you if any of that skeeves you out! If this seems way better than my previous work, it’s because I took about a week to write it! I really hope you enjoy this piece, and I hope the anon who requested it is still here! Please let me know if I've captured your vision!!!
As always, I’m open for helpful advice on my writing/execution!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     “Ford! Stanford Pines you come out here right now! I demand we talk!” Fiddleford H. McGucket was mad. Fuming. Pissed beyond all belief. He had just remembered some snippets of the portal incident and he knows his old partner (and little) was still working on it for that devil! He needs to make that man see some sense. Thankfully, Stanford hadn’t changed his locks or the passcode to the basement, so he’s able to stop down three flights of stairs to the bottom floor of the lab to confront him.
     “Stanford! I know you can hear me! Come out here right-now?” He stops short at the sight before him. The portal is broken down, machinery and wiring everywhere, broken and sparking. That’s not what makes him stop, no, it’s the figure in front of the control center. He looks…he looks ragged, haggard, even. His hair long and greasy, his skin looks dirty and sweaty, and he looks almost exactly like Stanford. Except gruffer. It hasn’t been that long since Fiddleford has seen his old partner, has it? He can’t have changed this much in just a few months. It’s when he gets a glimpse at the hands that it clicks in his mind. That’s not Stanford. He tries to think rationally before he freaks out and starts attacking the stranger, he’s gotten arrested for that a couple times already. He looks like Stanford, just rounder and greasier and with five fingers instead of six…He vaguely remembers a discussion him and Stanford had back in college, they were celebrating finishing their first set of finals with some well earned and homemade Hooch courtesy of you-know-who when the man had started muttering and was on the verge of sobbing about a “Lee”, and when FIddleford asked who that was, all Stanford could manage to get out before passing out was “M’ Twin”. And they never spoke of that incident again, Fiddleford putting that memory on a backburner until now.
     So this must be that Lee fella, Stanford’s twin. Something must have happened if he’s here in that state and Stanford is nowhere to be seen. Something bad. This fills him with panic instead of anger, worry for his Bookworm his friend overpowering his negative emotions towards him. He walks quickly towards Lee, his steps slowing down as he gets the full view of this man, his ears picking up his intelligible muttering. He looks more than greasy and unwashed, he looks sick. He can see gauze on his shoulder, stained with pink and a different color, one he can’t quite make out in the poor lighting of the lab, but it twists his stomach nonetheless.
     “H-hey, Lee? Um-what happ-are you okay? Is F-Ford-” Fiddleford doesn’t quite know what to say to this man, who looks both so much like Ford but so different. Who looks sick. He makes the mistake of putting his hand on the man’s shoulder, flinching back as he turns around violently with a fist raised promising a world of pain. Fiddleford shrinks into himself with a small and terrified squeal. Lee stumbles back, though, eyes glossy and distant, the defensive act just muscle memory at this point. He seems like he’s about to slide against the console and fall, soFiddleford reaches out to help steady him, thankful for all the pig wrangling and calf birthing he’s had to do in his life back on the farm, Lee is heavier than Ford was is. He gets a better look at Lee’s face and feels his own pale, blood rapidly draining and leaving him feeling cold. Whatever injury he has on his shoulder has to be inflected, the man is burning up and sweating something fierce, low and intelligible mumbles spilling from his mouth, his bangs sticking to his forehead, the slight smell of sickness wafting over him. They’re both lucky Ford was able to synthesize and stock high grade antibiotics in case they ever needed them, because he needs them, that or a hospital, and he doesn’t know anything about Ford’s twin, not even enough to explain what had happened to him.
     Propping Lee up against the console and making sure he wouldn’t fall, he quickly managed to run to a storage room to the right, temperature controlled to keep cool. He finds the medical supplies very diminished, but most of the antibiotics were there. Both worrying and relieving him. Ford had gotten injured so much to deplete their medical supplies this much? They were essentially prepared for an apocalypse. But the relief is that Ford never needed these hospital grade antibiotics, only to be used for serious infection. He collects the medicine, bandages, and any other thing he can think of, putting them in an empty first aid bag and slinging it around his shoulder, making his way back to Lee as fast as he could manage. Fiddleford hauls him up and leans him against his side, stumbling his way to the elevator that he could never bring himself to trust. He has to now, he can’t carry this man up all the flights of stairs that lead into the house.
     Fiddleford breathes in deeply, glancing over at Lee from the corner of his eye, releasing his breath when he sees he’d hardly even registered change in surroundings or the fact that he had moved, his eyes gazing distantly down onto the floor. Fiddleford resolutely moves him into the open elevator, propping him against the wall and quickly pressing the buttons needed to bring them back up to the main part of the house. Lee stumbles as the elevator moves, an almost frightened whimper escaping him as the elevator creaks and groans, chugging slowly along, his hands finally moving on their own to grasp onto Fiddleford in a move that puts the skinny man almost in front of him. Something deep inside him tightened at the sight; Lee looked more like a lost child than a grown man. "Stay with me, Lee," Fiddleford murmured, his voice steadier than he felt. "We’re gonna get you sorted out. Just hang in there, okay?" A low whimper escaped Lee's lips, eliciting a rush of empathy from Fiddleford. It was clear that Stanford's twin had been through an ordeal far beyond what he could comprehend. The least he could do was ensure that Lee would be safe for the time being.
     As the elevator doors dinged open, Fiddleford slowly moved with Lee out into the dark room, just registering how cold it was-is the heating even on? Was the bill paid or was all the power just directed to that damn portal room? Fiddleford glanced around, his mind racing. “I need to get you to a bathroom and a bed,” he decided. He gently helped Lee step out of the elevator, the man leaning heavily against him. He maneuvered him toward the stairs, taking them one step at a time and going very slowly, Fiddleford may be tall but Lee was bulkier than he was, he didn’t want to risk Lee toppling over and falling down the stairs, injuring both himself further and the one currently helping him walk. They stumble their way upstairs, Fiddleford having to haul Lee up again when he started to slump too closely to the side, and towards the extra bathroom on the second floor-Fiddleford remembers this one having better lighting and not being as cramped as the downstairs bathroom. He gently deposits Lee on the toilet, worrying about his lack of response to the movements and light being turned on-at least the power still works up here-ever present. Setting the first aid bag on the coffee table, he knelt beside Lee, anxiety gnawing at him. “Okay… let’s see what we’re dealin’ with here.” Fiddleford pulled back the gauze on Lee’s shoulder, and his breath caught in his throat. The shoulder was inflamed, swollen with an angry red hue, the bandaging far too stained for comfort. He can’t even tell what was burned into his shoulder from how bad it was. Lee’s eyes fluttered open slightly, revealing a hint of recognition.
     “Wha—who…” Lee’s voice was soft, barely above a whisper, and he couldn’t manage to say full words. Fiddleford didn’t know how much he knew about Ford’s work, meaning he doesn’t know if Lee even knows about him, but, with how out of it he is he figures some small trickery shouldn’t be too bad, people tend to respond better to help by people they know, or well, are told they know.
     “It’s just me, Lee, your good ol’ pal, Fidds. You remember, right? We’re great friends, you n’ I.” He holds his breath as Lee just nods along, the fever and infection ravaging his body obviously making it difficult to properly think back on his words.
     “For…” Lee trails off, his word soft and incomplete, but Fiddleford knows what he was trying to say and felt a pang of heartbreak at the mention of Stanford.
      “He’s… he’s not here right now. But I’m gonna take care of you, alright? Just focus on me.” He carefully began cleaning the wound, glancing up to gauge Lee’s reaction. Lee sniffled, biting his lip, but didn’t pull away, his eyes still hazy and glazed over. Fiddleford doesn’t think he’ll be lucid for a while now. Each moment that passed seemed to drag on, filled with Lee’s fragile breaths and the quiet sounds of their surroundings. What was supposed to be a simple act of care felt monumental. Fiddleford bandaged the injury carefully, relying on the knowledge they had accumulated over the years. “You’re gonna be alright, Lee. Just gotta get the antibiotics into ya, and you’ll start feeling better in no time.” He goes and pulls out the bottles of antibiotics, some IV fluids to help with Lee’s obvious dehydration, and the collapsible IV pole that he’d made-maybe a bit overkill for the time but it was perfect for now. He rounds Lee, finding his eyes already on him. “Heya, Lee, can I see your arm? I need ta’ give ya’ some antibiotics to help with your infection.” But the man made no movement or noise indicating he understood what Fiddleford was saying. He took his arm in gentle hands, swabbing and cleaning the inner elbow before inserting the butterfly needle-hushing Lee when he made strangled whimpering noises, seeing a glimmer of tears come to his eyes. He pats Lee’s head, unconsciously cooing to him as he leans his head into Fiddleford’s touches, a soft sigh and hum passing through his lips.
     “Let’s getcha up now, need to get you in some clothes, though m’ afraid no shirts for a little while, you need as little as possible on that burn o’ yours.” Fiddleford stood up, stumbling in surprise as Lee’s hand grasped his, standing up with him and still staring, more clarity in his eyes, but still nothing indicative of being fully present. Fiddleford took a steadying breath, trying to calm the rising tide of worry threatening to overwhelm him. As they shuffled into the small, dimly lit hallway, Lee's gaze began to clear a bit, though it still flickered with confusion and fear. Fiddleford was grateful for the flicker of awareness and desperately hoped that Lee would be able to grasp even a thread of comfort in this chaos. “C’mon, Lee. Let’s get you settled, alright?” he murmured. The soft squeeze of Lee’s hand around his reassured him that the man could understand him to an extent, enough for his body to respond, at the very least. He makes his way to an open door, peering inside to see if it was acceptable enough for Lee to sleep in. It seems that this was the room he was staying in, though, if the clothes thrown about and rustled blankets on a small bed were of any indication. Steadily, they hobble into the room, Fiddleford holding Lee’s hand and steadying him as they walk, keeping an eye on the IV to make sure it doesn’t get snagged or trip over anything. He sets Lee down on the edge of the bed, making sure he won’t fall over, before searching around the room for some soft and hopefully clean pants, only finding some faded sweats. They didn’t seem too filthy, so Fiddleford deemed them as okay for now and turned around before stopping dead center, eyes assessing the scene before him. Lee had, from somewhere, grabbed a teddy bear-one with a remarkable similarity to Stanford-and was grasping it tightly, his body hunching over to bury his face in the soft cloth. He could see the slight trembling in Lee’s shoulders as he held the toy, hiding behind its plush form. An epiphany struck Fiddleford…it’s possible that Ford and Lee were more similar than just in looks.
     “Hey, buddy,” Fiddleford spoke softly, moving closer, careful not to startle Lee. “That’s a nice bear you’ve got there…” as he came closer, he saw a blanket strewn on the bed behind Lee, a large quilt with what looked to be some crudely sewn Teddy Bears on it. Fiddleford’s heart ached at the sight of Lee clutching the teddy bear, drawn into its warmth and softness as he huddled over it, the blanket behind him just solidifying his thoughts. The plush creature and quilt seemed to offer a sense of security amid all this chaos and confusion. He knelt beside the bed, keeping his voice soft and calm. “Hey there, Lee. Let’s get ya’ some pants, alright? Just something comfortable for now.” Lee remained silent, his gaze still fixed on the bear. Fiddleford moved quickly to the small dresser, pulling out the faded sweats he had spotted earlier. He returned to Lee, who hadn't shifted from his position, burying his face against the bear's plush fur. “Hang tight, ‘right?” Fiddleford said, moving in front of Lee. He carefully helped him remove the old, dirty pants, mindful of Lee’s discomfort. With each movement, he offered gentle reassurances, softening the air with his presence. “We’re almost done.” He knows the other man can’t understand him, not fully, but Fiddleford knows from experience that talking to a kid or someone in this mindset can help keep them calm, and calm is what Lee needs right now.
     “How’s about we lay back down now, okay?  Rest yer’ head on that pillow and just breathe in, ‘kay? Some quiet time.” Lee absentmindedly nodded, his grip on the bear tightening momentarily before loosening again. He leaned back, still looking dazed and feverish, but more comfortable now that he was semi-clean and dressed with fluid running into him. Fiddleford decided to remain quiet for a little while, too, letting the soft sounds of the house settle around them. The air was a little chilly, but Fiddleford figured they could tackle that issue soon enough. He slowly brings his hand towards Lee’s head, watching for any signs of flinching or cowering before he lowers it and softly begins to stroke his hair, cooing softly as Lee’s eye fluttered closed, his head leaning into the hand gently caressing him, soft murmurs escaping his lips. Fiddleford, with one practiced hand, pulls the blankets over Lee, the thinner ones first, the thicker comforter that was piled on the floor, and finally, Lee’s well-loved quilt, tucking them around the gentle creature before him, keeping his IV arms out of most of the layers besides to top quilt.
     Fiddleford's heart warmed at the sight of Lee nestled under the blankets, the calming rhythm of his breathing creating a peaceful atmosphere in the room, he felt a swell of protective instinct for the man beside him. “Just like that, Lee. Nice n’ comfy n’ cozy,” he murmured softly, continuing to thread his fingers through Lee’s hair, taking care to avoid any tug on the IV line. Lee seemed to lean further into Fiddleford’s touch, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he began to relax into the layers of warmth wrapped around him. As Fiddleford settled into a rhythm, the gentle motion of his hand seemed to draw Lee deeper into a state of comfort-deeper into his headspace if Lee’s soft chewing of the bear’s ear before Fiddleford removed it was anything to go by. The world around them faded into the background, the cold chill of the air outside kept at bay by the cocoon of blankets. The sound of breathing filled the room—the steady rise and fall of Lee’s chest mixed with Fiddleford’s quieter, more measured breaths.
     “Y’know, I used to do this for your brother, too,” Fiddleford’s voice cut through the silence, “When he felt younger-smaller-the world feeling too big for him. I was there to help him and take care of him. I wouldn’t mind being that person for you, neither. I don’t know what happened with our Ford, but I hope you’ll tell me.” Fiddleford breathes into the silence, just staring at Lee, who’s dozing off surrounded by his teddy and warmth of the blankets. “I want to take care of you, I’ve missed takin’ care of someone, actually. N’ I have more than enough room in my heart to add another person.” Lee made a soft, indistinct noise, his eyes still closed, as if he somehow understood the intent behind Fiddleford's words. Fiddleford smiled softly, hoping that the weight of his sincerity could reach Lee’s subconscious, anchoring him in a sea of uncertainty.
     Closing his eyes for just a moment, Fiddleford let the sounds of the house mingle with Lee's breathing, the gentle cadences a soft lullaby. He found his own fatigue creeping in, but he fought it off for the sake of his friend. Lee needed someone to hold firm and steady in this chaotic world, and he was more than willing to take on that role. After some time, Fiddleford felt the room grow quieter—Lee's breathing became more even, deeper. He risked glancing at Lee's face, noticing the way his features had relaxed under the quilt, the tension that had gripped him slowly dissipating as he found solace in sleep. There was something reassuring about seeing him at peace like this, a small flicker of hope sparking in Fiddleford’s heart.
     “Just keep resting,” Fiddleford whispered, pulling gently at the edges of the blankets around Lee, tucking him in a bit more snugly. “I’ll be here.” The rest of the night was full of soft snuffles and easy sighs, this little corner-their little corner-of the world tucked away for a few hours, peace falling around them

It was late at night while you were sitting on your couch, watching a Lifetime movies marathon which featured black love movies. The sound of your phone ringing startled you, you reached for your remote to pause the TV. Heart pounding, you went to the door cautiously, peeking through the peephole. You grabbed your bat from the closet.
You held the phone to your ear, “Hello? Marv?” You spoke up softly, hoping that it was him.
You heard him lightly chuckle and smile through the phone, he liked the little nickname you called, “What’s up Y/N? Are you home? I missed you,”
It was Marvin, what the hell was he doing calling you at this time of night?
You held your face close to your phone, smiling and nodding as if he could see you. “Yes, I’m home, are you okay?” You asked him, pursing your lips a bit in nervous.
“Good to hear, because I really need to talk to you, it’s been a whole week since we’ve last seen each other,” Marvin’s voice was low but clear through the door.
He was right though, you worked at your job while he did his duties and time just slipped away from both of you. Still, his voice had a calming effect, easing your anxiety bit by bit.
“Y-Yeah it has, and I missed you too Marvin, you know that you can always come over.” You said in a happily tone, biting down on your lips.
“I’ll be on my way over there,”
You bid him a farewell and he did the same, his voice was slightly raspy and rough. Your legs closed immediately from the sound. You hung up the phone, this was going a good Saturday night.
You had almost forgotten that he lived across from your house in this small neighborhood, it was quiet and safe just the way you liked it.
Your hand scratched your green bonnet off your box braids and threw it into your bedroom, quickly looking in the mirror and you were dressed in a tank top and some black basketball shorts even though you didn’t play the sport.
You still looked good regardless, with your curvy body and deep brown skin, brown eyes. Good thing you had a protective hairstyle so you didn’t have to worry about your hair too much. You took a deep breath, straightened your tank top, and opened the door.
With your amazing personality and pretty face. You couldn’t be nervous about him but you were. He was a handsome man with a past of hardships, standing there with an earnest expression that made your heart flutter. Your past had the same too.
What you’ve been told purportedly from your mutual friends, you both carried burdens that weighed heavily on your shoulders.
You rushed to the front door and hang up the phone, “I’m coming!” You replied quickly.
The night was crisp and warm, perfect for staying in but you had an urge to touch yourself, when Marvin showed up on your television screen when the news mentioned The Boys.
It wasn’t a secret that you deplore of Marvin’s job in Vought International, but you understood why he worked there. It was dangerous yet you knew that he can handle himself, but you worried about him.
The doorbell rang, you peeked through the peephole, smiling at the sight of him.
“Can I come in?” Marvin asked, his deep voice sending shivers down your spine as you opened the door.
You nodded and stepped aside to let him in. "Of course, come on in," you said, trying to calm your racing heart.
After closing and locking the door behind him, you trailed behind him and the two of you seated yourselves on the couch, his eyes wandered around the living room, feeling a sense of relief to be here with you.
Your house to Marvin was a safe haven, an escape from the craziness he dealt with daily. It was the same for you too from your job as an assistant for a high-profile law firm in the city.
The constant chaos and stress washed away, if only for a moment, when you were together.
“Marv? Are you alright? You’ve been silent since you walked in," you asked softly, placing your hand gently on his knee.
You wondered what was on his mind this time? Running behind Butcher? Dealing with Homelander's latest disaster?
“We don’t have to talk about work, you know," you continued, sensing his hesitance.
Marvin cleared his throat and turned to you, his eyes reflecting a sense of weariness mixed with gratitude. "It's just... I’ve been thinking about you ever since and I want to hear you talk instead of me, talking your ear off..” He paused,
He then managed a small smile. “Tell me about your day, your week.”
You couldn't quite read his expression, but the tension in his shoulders was evident.
“Well..when I arrived home, I made lasagna for dinner, hoping you’d like them. The recipe’s from my mom; she swears by it.” You smiled softly, trying to lighten the mood.
“She says it’s guaranteed to make anyone feel better.”
Marvin lightly chuckled, his thumb swiped over his thick beard and smiled again, your brown eyes snaked across his board shoulders and gold chain around his neck, tawny skin. You could’ve sworn that his muscles would tore up his black tee graphic shirt with A Tribe Called Quest on it, black sweatpants and shoes.
You needed to relax and take a woosah every now and then when you thought about him.
“It’s a been a while since I’ve had your mama’s lasagna. How has she been?" He took a deep breath, his eyes softening. Standing up from the couch as you did the same.
“She’s been good, talking about the usual, life, job and
Marvin was sweet, funny, and protective to you that you appreciated. For instance, there was the time when he drove across town in the middle of the night just to bring your favorite dessert after you had a rough day.
He followed you towards the kitchen with a hint of anticipation in his steps. The comforting aroma of the lasagna filled the air, leading him to the source. You pulled out the pan from the oven with brown mittens, revealing the bubbling, golden-brown cheese on top.
You settled it down on the stove with Marvin helping you set the table. The kitchen light cast a warm glow over the room, creating a cozy ambiance.
“Let me help you out, you don’t need to be doing everything by yourself,” he insisted, grabbing plates from the cabinet.
He was so gallantly himself, it gave you butterflies.
Marvin pulled out a chair for you, while he grabbed paper plates and placed plastic plate covers underneath them, settling it down where you sitting and across from you where he was sitting, placing the silverware and cups near the plates.
After that kind gesture, he sat across from you and held your hand, looking into your eyes “Thank you for inviting me into your home..” Marvin smiled softly, as if communicating a thousand words with that simple gesture.
Marvin even washed the dishes for you, was he sent from the heavens? You had a strong belief that black angels existed. He must have been one of them.
“No problem, but why are you really here?”
“I missed my friend, that’s why.”
Was it right for you ask that question? Did he like you back? You had to know but was it the right time?
Friend, that word almost hurt you, you sighed lowly and turned back to him. You heard about the death of his wife, Your eyes softened while his brows furrowed at you, his face was confused.
You had to tell him that you liked him, don’t beat around the bush. Just say it.
“M-Marvin, I’ve been mustering up the courage to tell you that I like you,”
Marvin’s smile curled up for a moment and reached out, gently cupped your face. His thumb swiped over your cheek, “I like you too, I always have,
The two of stood up from the chair and kissed passionately, pressed his lips against yours, a soft and tender kiss that spoke louder than words, the scent of his cologne and taste of beer on tongue.
Moving toward the couch, you slid off your tank top and shorts, while he easily slipped off his tee shirt and sweatpants, revealing his thick, long dick. Making you drool and his thumb wiped it away from the corner of your lips.
“You ready?”
“Yes, i am..”
He gently grabbed your hand and gripped your hips, lifting you up. You exhaled deeply, relaxing the tension in your body. Settling you down on his dick as gently as possible, he carefully watched your face twisted up in pleasure.
You moaned softly as he entered you, the feeling of him filling you up sending waves of pleasure through your body. “You good, babygirl?” He groaned, stopping immediately, “y-yes, don’t stop.”
Marvin's movements were slow and deliberate, his hands caressing the small of your back as he moved in and out of you. His smirk etched on his face, watching his dick disappear, “Damn, you take it so well..”
His lips found your nipple again, kissing your areola deeply as he set a steady pace. “Fuck..” you moaned again, The room was filled with the sound of your gasps and his groans, the tension between you two palpable and electric. His teeth trapped between your nipple
Your hips moved willingly at a faster pace to match with his, your essence pooled his dick perfectly, pleasure washed over you again and again, fucking you into a climax, his dick stretched your walls out and you gripped around him. He groaned and moaned into your ear.
Marvin's thrusts became more urgent, his grip on your hips tightening. “Right there..” you gasped loudly, your nails left welts on his tawny brown skin, his rumbling made your clit swell, You arched your back, meeting his thrusts with equal fervor, the pleasure building to a crescendo.
“You’re so beautiful..” he moaned raspily, his fingers pinched your nipples. Whining from it as he resumed his thrust, his freehand spanked your ass and you cried out.
You felt your stomach tightened and you came undone, crying out in ecstasy as the pleasure washed over you. “Ohmyfuckkkk!” You screamed out, your body shaking against his buff body, he cradled you as if you were break. Kissing every part of your body gently.
He gently lifted off of his dick, Marvin collapsed against you, his head resting on your chest as you both caught your breath.
After a moment of silence, Marvin lifted his head to look at you, his eyes filled with warmth and affection. "I’m all yours, Y/N," he whispered, pressing a soft kiss to your lips.
You smiled, running your fingers through his beard. "Yes, you are Marv. Yes, you are."
