It’s been a really long day so I’m gonna list a few random PPG headcannons

(side note: Blossom uses she/they pronouns)

Brick is a realist, which in the eyes of people who don’t know him well can come across as being an asshole. He’s blunt and doesn’t hide his feelings (unless it comes to his feelings for Blossom, then he’ll deny it to others and to himself. “they’re just my very attractive friend who understands me better than anyone. nothing more”)

Brick is dislexic but not many people know.

Buttercup has grown a lot since childhood. she’s less overly aggressive (she’ll still kick your ass if you deserve it, no question) and can keep a cool head in most situations. It takes a lot to make her snap.

Bubbles has a strong desire to help people, and most of the time she’ll put others feelings above her own. She neglects any negative emotions she feels and tries to justify them by her just being “moody”. Eventually, with the help of her sisters and the boys, she learns how to grow out of this and accept darker emotions.

Blossom takes their job as “commander and leader” very seriously. If something is happening in townsville, she will jump headfirst into her work to fix it. Her friends and family have to quite literally drag them out of her office if she’s been in there for too long

Butch is an empath, and no matter how much he tries to put on a facade of “fuck boy who doesn’t give a shit”, he has a huge heart. He would do anything for the people he considers family, and once you have him as a friend he’ll be there for you for life.

Boomer is smart, but so many people have told him otherwise in his life that he questions every decision he makes. If he notices something others don’t, he’ll cast it aside because he’s “just the dumb and the dumbest jumping to conclusions”. Bubbles learns this and smacks him in the arm whenever he doubts himself. She will take no self hatred from her Boomie.

Okay, I literally have a 700 word document solely on greens headcannons so I’ll make a separate post about them, but for now here’s a couple:

Buttercup had some shit happen to her in the past, so she doesn’t like people touching her. Butch is one of the only people she feels comfortable touching her in anyway. Because of this, the greens are super physical with one another, even before they started dating. They’re always touching in some way, whether it be standing close to each other, arms around waists, hugging, linking fingers, bumping into each other, hands resting on shoulders, etc. they’re drawn to each other like magnets.

Butch overhears Buttercup telling Blossom that she likes when men wear flannel, and he subconsciously starts replacing every shirt and jacket he owns with green flannel. If Buttercup secretly suddenly finds him 10x more attractive than he already was? Well that’s for her to know.

Okay the reds, despite what everyone around them thinks, aren’t very competitive. They were at first when they had their “rivalry”, but once they became friends they were each other’s biggest hype men. Blossom has to lead a press conference on a recent attack? Brick is in the crowd giving them nods of encouragement whenever they needs it. Brick is having trouble studying? Blossom will be over in 5 seconds to help him. In any situation, theyre there for each other.

When they finally get together, Blossom and Brick’s dates mostly consist Blossom reading to Brick in the park, them watching reruns of reality TV in Bricks bedroom and making fun of it, debating random things they come across, and sitting in an old coffee shop talking. Discussion never runs dry between them.

The blues aren’t very touch orientated, they rely more just being in the presence of each other. They prefer being with each other in person rather than phone calls, and when they can’t see each other in person they’re on facetime basically all day and night. They don’t even have to be talking, just knowing the other is there is enough.

Boomers way of flirting with Bubbles before they got together was constantly asking if he could buy all of her paintings. Her way of flirting back was telling him he could have it for free, and when he refused saying she deserves money for all her hard work, she would get Butch to let her in his bedroom when he was at band practice and leave them on his bed. (Boomer then proceeds to yell at Butch for letting her in because “NOW SHE’S SEEN THE PIGSTY THAT I LIVE IN AND THINKS IM GROSS AND IS NEVER GONNA WANT TO BE WITH MEEEEEE”) 

Mitch and Buttercup are BESTIES. They’re tight as a knot and tell each other absolutely everything. She was the first person he came out to, and he was the first she told about “maybe sort of kind of” liking Butch. He teased her relentlessly for that (on the inside he was happy she finally had someone she could trust after what had happened before. Of course if he said that she would pummel him like there was no tomorrow, so he keeps it a secret)

Princess and Blossom become friends first once Princess learns to be less of a brat. She tells Blossom about her issues at home and apologizes for her past actions. Blossom tells her it’s going to take time for her to completely forgive, but in the future she hopes to become friends. They do and Princess betters herself with the help of the girls (so I’m a sucker for Princess redemption, sue me)

Buttercup and Brick are really close, and they give each other advice on their siblings (they also give each other blackmail material but don’t tell Blossom and Butch that).

Blossom and Butch also become best friends. Blossom is the person who makes Butch understand that his feelings for Buttercup are okay. Butch threatens Brick when he and Blossom get together with a “if you break their heart I’ll break you *butch death glare*”

Toko! I was thinking of creating an ask the character blog for IDV or Genshin Impact and wanted a few tips on how to start off. Anything you can share?

ey yo my dude!! thank you so much for this question, now im lowkey tempted (again) to make a genshin ask blog sjadhlkshgkahshglsaj anyway my 1.5 cents is under the cut, yall know how much i talk here HAHAHAHAH

uhhhhhh so i guess we start with picking a character u really Vibe with tm? I KNOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE COMMON SENSE BUT LIKE ive been considering making a genshin ask blog for a while now but i never really got to it cos i couldnt really decide on a character (plus the fact that their outfits are. so intricate. is also a hmm since i try to follow details to a t) (at first i wanted to do zhongli, but i feel like to be able to muse him well u need to know the lore super super well, which i dont n im too lazy to research on that aha. n u know how much i respect characterizations, especially for such a complex character like him. i also considered xiangling for a period of time mostly for guoba but also like i have 2+1 blogs here n having one more might not be a very good idea aha) (as for aesop he was my Hyperfixation Character tm also cos i looked at his kit n went Yep i could work with this. probably)

so assuming ur not a dumbass like me n u kinda know who u wanna pick, id actually say to snoop around here for other ask blogs n kinda get a feel of the... scene? is that the word? or like u know, other blogs that u can potentially vibe with. ive run a couple of ask blogs before this current one (both that have died for different reasons) n from my experience interacting with other blogs (if theyre okay with it, i think most should be) is pretty fun. it also kinda helps get ur blog around to other ppl on other blogs so they can go Oh whats this cool shit n check u out, n its also a reason why we kinda reblog promo posts for other blogs (also cos we’re always excited when someone new comes on, its really the more the merrier. we see all :eyes:). interacting with other blogs is also an option when ur inbox is looking real roomy too

another reason why i havent exactly done a genshin blog is that idk i cant actually seem to find genshin ask blogs around (i have seen rp blogs, or those that answer asks with mostly text instead of art, but thats. not my thing since i hate my own writing aha) (i did find one aether blog some time ago, but for some reason i hardly see them around anymore??? idk man i might be wrong). its not like im trying super hard to find them ask blogs, so im sure they exist out there (hopefully?? im not sure but im being optimistic). i mean theres nothing wrong with just starting an ask blog without others around, but for me i do find a difference when i interact with other ask blogs n when i dont, n i prefer when theres others to have fun with (unfortunately i couldnt find any ask blogs to interact with in my previous fandom. i tried, but the blogs i approached seemed to go inactive shortly afterwards...) plus u get to meet friends that way too :D (i made a lot of friends via idv askblogs n its really been a joy vibing with others)

as for the idv scene. gestures around me. unfortunately there are a lot of ask blogs that arent that active anymore, but theres still some of us who are alive n kicking empty inboxes, n im sure everyone would love to see a new face around. winks at u. also there seems to be a lot more blogs popping up lately, which is really heartening to see.

then u kinda just. make ur blog? n a starting introduction post so ppl can reblog it n spread the word XD n yay u have a blog i guess??? XD

i gotta say tho. dont expect ur blog to take off immediately (especially for smaller fandoms like idv, tvbh i didnt think my blog would even get half this far when i started cos of how non existent idv tumblr seemed to be) n ur inbox will probably be looking pretty empty a lot of the time (or at least filled with some that u havent quite thought of how to reply to yet aha) (but also like empty inboxes happen pretty often, im sure most of us here have experienced this problem)

in the case of the first ask blog i ever started, it never really took off at all. ngl it was kind of demoralizing n depressing but to be fair i had picked one of the more obscure characters in the series, so obscure that many ppl in the fandom would have never heard of this character before. if u wanted to know, i took a character that only appeared in the 2nd musical of the series, who also made a very brief cameo in the manga to acknowledge his existence within that universe. thats how obscure my character was, but i went with him purely because he was my favourite character. i will say though i did enjoy it while it lasted n i learnt a lot from the experience, n i think thats whats important really.

i guess this kinda leads on (not really but let me digress) to the whole uhhhh thing where if u choose a more popular character, u get more attention. which is fine i guess? if u really vibe with the character, i mean theyre popular for a reason. n choosing a more popular fandom (like genshin) would objectively also get u more viewers n numbers. but like honestly i believe that ask blogs are meant for u to have fun with, n like trying to get popular gets tiring pretty fast (this shouldnt be like a main goal, but u know sometimes u subconsciously also want that gucci follower count n bomb ass notes or something. i used to be guilty of this until i realized it isnt worth it) especially if ur not enjoying yourself in the process. (case in point: my previous fandom was considerably larger n my blog got about 700 followers within a year or so, but it got very tiring n stressful to maintain after my interest in it died, n no one was really interacting with the blog even though i tried which kinda made it even more depressing despite the so called success n popularity of the blog)

anyway on a less serious note, theres a lot of fun stuff u can do with the ask blog, like some ask blogs have really fancy tags that i really like n try to do but also like not really HAHAHAHA. i kinda just channel what i want to see in an ask blog into my own ask blogs (good art is one, i try very hard for it to be good :,DD another is characterization, n others is just extra miscellaneous arts n stuffs like au ideas or memes. these are also somethings u could work on during ask box downtimes perhaps)

uhhh another side thing is like a posting schedule i guess? like ppl would be more likely to interact (i think) if ur blog is relatively active, n this is usually determined by the last post u made (i think XD). but like generally for blog maintenence id say try to kinda find a frequency that ur comfortable with?? cos i know my once a day posting is kinda insane if i wasnt so hyperfixated on all of this n fight the urge to dump all ur replies when u finish them XD (though ive seen some blogs do that n they do it pretty frequently so its pretty nice to know once u see their post u can spend some time going through the latest batch of posts XD) the queue function is pretty useful here even though i truthfully have never really used it, i kinda just post from my drafts really but it also helps to space out ur content to seem somewhat active especially when u dont have the time to be working on replies sometimes. i hope u know what im trying to say here aha

ANYWAY that was like my 1.5 cents cos i dont even think its worth 2 cents HAHAHAHAH these are just my thoughts from running all my blogs up till now, some that are still running n the others that have just died a natural death. i wouldnt actually delete them (theyre still around actually XD) cos theyre kinda like archives n i can look back at what i did last time. cos ngl i made some high quality stuff back then, n i dont even know how i managed to do that aldhflhdsgk. also ppl do look at archive blogs every now n then for the content thats there yknow

in modern aus i see eren as looking up to levi, bc he ooks up to him in the manga in some ways, levi cares abt his wellbeing n shit

well armin, since he was chosen to live over erwin, he'd look up to erwin in a modern au

and when erwin dies in that au bc ofc he has to die, armin is still a teenager.

i like to think that they all lived in the same town as kids, and erwin always looked out for armin since he had no one else other than his friends. 

he basically lets armin live with him when he's not with eren, who also has no family and sort of couch surfs between jean and sasha - sasha's dad loves eren for whatever reason so he stays there a lot, and welcomes armin and mikasa with him - and so erwin and armin r close

and levi is always around, so he sees armin a lot, even if he takes care of eren more - he lets eren stay at is house on nights when he feels like hes overstayed his welcome at sasha’s.

but levi still cares abt armin bc he sees how erwin cares abt armin and levi is in love with the blond facebook dad

but erwin died when armin is like 15, so he still needs someone to look out for him

and erwin asks levi to do that, bc he trusts him and knows levi would take care of him just like he had  

anyways, he asks levi to take care of him and levi does

but armin is a 15 yr old who just lost yet another person who cares abt him 

and even tho hes grateful that levi cares for him, he misses erwin so much. 

he acts out bc of it bc hes a kid going through trauma and its what kids do. he starts acting even worse than eren and eren is a fucking demon spawn

armin and eren share a room, even tho levi had two empty rooms so they could have their own, and eren has stuff in the other room but armin doesn’t like the dark so eren stays there with him.

and levi isn’t really good at taking care of kids in the traditional way. 

he wakes them up every weekday for school by telling them he'll kick their ass if he has to take them himself - but he'll still drive them when it rains or its cold  

he doesnt really know how to cook bc erwin always did that, but his notes app is full of recipes erwin always recommended that were easy to follow bc he was always worried that levi always ate too much cold leftovers from days before and noodles

armin knows hot to cook pretty well bc erwin taught him but he enjoys laughing at levi failing at cooking simple shit - he burned water somehow

but levi still tries so its fine

he tries letting armin know hes welcome, and that he can ask for whatever he needs

he'll leave him lunch money on the counter

and when he notices armins jackets getting a little too short around the wrist he drops a new one by his lap when he sits on the couch

he pulls the blanket all the way to his chin if he falls asleep on the couch.

he'll mention he's going to get a haircut when he notices armin's hair getting longer, and says he can go with him if he wants

but armin still acts so off. 

before erwin was gone, armin always acted happy, even though he never had much, and levi feels guilty knowing he cant do what erwin did for him, but he's doing this for erwin, and knows erwin wouldnt have put armin in his care in the first place if he didn’t trust him

i see taking care of armin as the task that keeps levi going, just like how killing zeke is what keeps him alive in the anime.

both promises he makes to erwin and wont give up on until he’s fulfilled it

but one day armin just disappears. he doesnt come back after school with eren like usual. so he and levi try calling him and get nothing. eren offers to go look for him and levi tells him to stay safe n waits back home to see if armin will show up there

and he does like 5 mins after eren leaves. 

and levi feels his chest just deflate with relief. it was cold outside, and armin was out there alone. 

his cheeks and nose r red from being outside for so long

when levi asks where he's been, it comes out harsher than he meant, but its just bc he was worried, and armin rolls his eyes and asks why it matters

levi tells him its bc he's a kid and doesnt get to just disappear without a trace whenever he wants. levi never minded armin doing whatever he wanted - within regulation - but most times he knew eren was with him, or mikasa, someone who would call him if something happened

and armin says “you're not my father.” and starts taking off his jacket and stuff

“yeah, but i am the person who's taking care of your ass.”

and that seems to make armin a little more ticked off than he already was, bc he turns to levi and says, “well i never asked you to do that.”

to which levi replies without thinking, “no but erwin did”

levi and armin never talk abt erwin, ever.

its like an unspoken rule between them. its not that they arent as comfortable with each other - they arent anyways but - they just dont do that, talk abt how they feel abt erwin, and him being gone

armin looks like hes gonna cry before he just says “well i wish it was erwin that was still here instead of you”

ALMOST AS IF HES SAYING HE WISHED IT WAS LEVI THAT DIED INSTEADDD

and levi is suprised that armin would ever, it hurts a little, and he just nods in agreement and says “me too.”

armin doesnt say anything back to it, he just turns and makes his way to his room, slamming the door behind him

and levi is exhausted. in his head he wonders how erwin had done it - balanced college and a job and a fucking teenager 

but then he remembers that erwin was erwin, and hed always been good at that type of thing

people stuck to him like glue

thats the first night he lets himself admit that he misses him

he feels like he’s failing at the one thing erwin asked of him

when eren shows back up, levi apologizes for not letting him know that armin had came back

but eren just tells him that armin had texted him when he’d arrived - i have a hc that eren and armin were each others first crushes but uhebdbsi

he tells levi that armin had said hed went to the beach

erwin used to take armin to the beach all the time before he died

he’d collect shells with him, and the ones that armin really liked, he’d give them names

he still has one called smith from the last time erwin had taken him to see the ocean

a few weeks go by after that

they never really talked before, but now it seems almost even worse

the silence that they normally exist in feels empty

but everything felt empty without erwin

eren lets levi know where theyre going to be whenever theyre not home, when theyll be home, etc

levi never asked for him to do that, but he does it anyways

levi’s thankful for the near suicidal maniac at that point

even though he always was

he saw a lot of himself in eren, and he sees a lot of himself in armin too

levi and armin never really apologize to each other, but one night when levi’s attempting to cook, armin walks in the kitchen and watches him place things on a pan

“you’re putting them too close together.”

armin steps beside him and tilts his head to the side, as if hes gesturing for levi to move

and he does, letting the younger and taller boy move the prerolled croissants further away from each other on the baking tray

he cooks him, armin, and eren an entire meal without burning anything

eren laughs when armin tells him that the man had forgotten to grab an oven mit and had stuck his entire hand in the oven to grab a pan

levi raises his eyebrow when he notices the way armin blushes at eren’s laugh, of all things

they have more to say about him that eren, and its just something the two of them share, so they tend to save it for little moments, tiny snippets of things that remind them of the blond

after about a year, things are good

I love some good character building via stats and numbers xD have you thought of making headcanon pokemon stats for team7? Like attack, defense, HP, etc. You could do something like use the eeveelution stats, where theyre all 525 total, just different distributions of 130/110/95/65/65/60.

I FORGOT POKEMON STATS WERE A THING I COULD APPLY TO THINGS OUTSIDE OF POKEMON!

And given how beautiful radar charts are (both DoS and Pokemon) this does sound like a thing I would be really into (and something I could use to distract myself from other projects :P)

I think the main sticking point is that, well, are we talking canon DoS or the Pokemon!AU that I have?

Because I could just translate the character stats I already have into the pokemon stats as best I can using their (CStotal/40) x (max total PS [700 so long as we’re not including the Legendary/Mythical/weird Pokemon... although arguably I think it’s only the Mega-Evolved versions of Garchomp, Metagross, Salamence, and Tyranitaur that are 700?]) for their respective totals.

Not that I don’t love the idea of making them all Eeveelutions (because I am so sentimental about the Eevee line) but in my Pokemon!AU none of Team 7 even have Eeveelutions and if anything I’d want to incorporate their respective Pokemon teams’ stats instead? Like, maybe taking the ranges of their teams’ stats and using that as the base of the “translation” somehow...

But the canon DoS shinobi wouldn’t necessarily correspond to the Pokemon trainers so maybe using that as a “translation” base would be the same as switching languages in order to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius--unnecessarily adding another step.

HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed are the Pokemon stats which is, unsurprisingly weighted towards combat; then again, pretty much so are the Naruto stats (Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Intelligence, Strength, Speed, Stamina, and Special) so that’s not exactly a point against it. I suppose the next step is to figure out which stats get converted to which. For example, while Speed obviously goes to Speed, does Stamina necessarily go to HP? Is Taijutsu both Attack and Defense while Ninjutsu and Genjutsu and Special go to Sp. Atk and Sp. Def? What happens to Intelligence?

Or am I leaning too much into translating my original Character Stats into Pokemon Stats?

I think I have to ponder this suggestion some more, anon.

Dean’s breath is but a hitch in his throat. Dean’s breath struggles and stutters as Cas’ fingers run over his cheek, as Cas smooths away blood and bruises and heartache, thumbs over his mouth, stitching him, making him whole.

“You’re going to be okay,” Cas tells him and Dean listens, voiceless, shuts his eyes and leans into every touch, tries to memorize these hands that linger over his skin so fleetingly that they could be ghosts.

When Cas steps away, Dean catches his wrist.

Cas’ eyes are a thousand questions. Cas’ eyes say, What happened to you? Cas’ eyes say, I’m here. Cas’ eyes say, I love you, and Dean chokes, swallows down a lump and wonders if he deserves to be looked at like that, wonders how he ended up here, the luckiest bastard alive with a living storm who wants to caress him.

“You’re gentle with me,” Dean croaks, averts his eyes in embarrassment and looks down at his feet. “You��you don’t have to be, but you are.”

Cas doesn’t understand. Dean can see it in his face, the puzzlement rising to the surface when Dean asks it like a question, asks it like he’s implying that Cas could ever be otherwise.

“I would never hurt you,” Cas says.

But maybe there are memories haunting them both. Maybe there are memories locked away deep inside their minds, memories brought back to the surface with Dean’s throbbing cheek, memories that shine in Cas’ eyes, hand quivering when he remembers the weight of his blade, a thousand iterations of Dean murdered by Naomi’s orders.

“I wouldn’t,” Cas says, and this time, his voice wavers.

“C’mere,” Dean says, pulls Cas even closer by his wrist, pulls him in until they’re almost chest to chest, knows that their lips could meet if Dean just tilted his head the right way and caved.

“Who hurt you?” Cas asks.

Was it me?

Dean clenches his jaw. Wants to runs his hands through Cas’ wild hair, wants to sleep curled up against him at night, call him Sweetheart with every morning coffee, kiss his fingers, these hands that bestow a thousand benedictions upon him without uttering a word.

“You weren’t you,” Dean says and Cas flinches at the confirmation of what he did, draws away only for Dean to entwine their fingers, reel him in again.  

They both stare at their joined hands, uncertain if they’ve gone too far.

“I don’t understand,” Cas tells him, when Dean talks about Dad. “I don’t understand why you let your father go.”

Dean says, You.

And Cas pretends for another moment that he’s confused. Cas lets his grasp loosen, ready to drop Dean’s hand, ready to go back to the way that things always are, except Cas is everything that Dean’s ever wanted so Dean holds on firm.

“You didn’t remember me,” Dean says, quivers with nervous energy as he clasps Cas’ cheek with his other hand, as he closes his eyes and leans his forehead against his. “You were like that because—”

Because we weren’t together.

Cas exhales shakily, fists Dean’s shirt in his hand, grips him loosely while with the other, still threatens to pull away. “Why would you keep me instead of your father, Dean?”  

Dean says, “Because I love you.”

Cas’ breath is one sharp intake, shocked, stunned. Dean figures that it’s about time, anyway. If he can tell Dad that he loves him, can’t he tell Cas?

“C’mon,” Dean says. “You didn’t really think I’d leave you like that? Who else is gonna kiss everything better?”

And this time, he’s gone too far. This time, there’s no turning back to the way that things were, and they pull apart, open their eyes and Cas looks at him, searches as if he’s expecting a joking smile.

“I love you,” Dean says again, voice thick, voice cracking and something hot wells up in his throat. “Truth is, I couldn’t do without you.”

They come together then, at last, after an eternity, after years. They thread their fingers, thread their lives together once more, mouths hungrily pressing forth, kisses that couldn’t possibly do justice to the feelings furled inside them.

But each kiss is like breathing again. Each kiss is like breaking the surface of water after being submerged for far too long, so maybe, finally, they’re living.

Headcanons about Fp hiding that first body?

WHICH ONE I HAVE 700 TIMELINES PREPARED

ive recently been thinking about like a full “i know what you did last summer” scenario where like the gangs all driving back from some party or whatever and freds behind the wheel and fps being fp and trying to make out with him or suck his dick. hes drunk, who cares that all their friends are in the back its not like theyre all playing innocent ANYWAY point is hes very distracting and freds maybe a wee bit buzzed too so hes not paying attention to the road and hes making out with his boyfriend and oh no... something gets hit.... its their principal! whoopsie... 

so everyones obviously freaking out except fred whos just kinda numb and in total disbelief that this is happening and fp and alice are the ones who are like “we gotta hide this shit” meanwhile like hal and hermione and whoever else is there are saying they should call the police and fps like no way, freds been drinking he’s gonna go to jail for sure and like honestly fps willing to go down for this himself if he has to but maybe lets find a way to avoid that first. so they gotta hide the body. is it in the woods? did they bury him in the wall of some building that was under construction? who knows. but you bet its gonna be dug up 20 years later. 

alice has to talk hal into helping. hermione wants no part of touching of a dead body so after fp yells at her for being a princess he tells her to at least stay with fred and watch over him while he goes and does the dirty work. and the whole time fp is so focused on just getting rid of evidence and making sure this cant be traced back to fred at all that he’s not even really absorbing the fact that he’s hiding a friggen body. 

they all end up at fps (because he’s living on his own at this point so its the safest place oddly enough for the time being) and its not until fps in the bathroom cleaning off his hands that it starts sinking in what the hell he just did and he has a panic attack. suddenly feels claustrophobic and like everythings crashing down around him. he cant breathe. he’s trying to scrub his hands clean. tears are streaming down his face. he can hear someone on the other side of the door asking if hes ok and he has to bite down on his lip so hard he starts tasting blood before answering back that he’s fine. somehow manages to pull himself together before going back out. sits himself down right next to fred and keeps a protective arm around him all night while they all try and figure out what happens next. freds still pretty much frozen, its like hes not even in his body anymore (oh but he will have his freakout moment too)

fp definitely gets like some level of ptsd from this (as they all do). for weeks after he’ll have random flashes of the body and hes constantly on edge thinking someones gonna find them out but he doesnt let anyone know. he’s somehow the one keeping everyone together and telling them everythings gonna be fine if for no other reason than to keep fred at bay and not have him turn into even more of a nervous wreck than he already is. 

oh hmmm does all this stress lead to fps drinking problem? to freds pill addiction? i dont know.... i dont.... know..... it does

okay. so i know i know more trivia facts than these, but i blanked. so you can have 1 true trivia fact, 2 myths/legends originating from indigenous people, and 3 badass historical indigenous people to look up or maybe ask me about later:

here is the trivia fact related to aboriginal people in australia for you: despite the common myth, kangaroo does not mean “i don’t know” in aboriginal. bc first off aboriginal isnt a language or even a single fucking group. in 18th century australia there were at least 700 tribes speaking as many as 250 different languages. the word kangaroo (or gangaru) is from the guugu yimithirr language of the people who lived by Botany Bay. it means large grey/black kangaroo. big surprise. but the english used the word to refer to any kangaroo or wallaby, not just the specific one to which the people of Botany Bay were referring. 

it goes further though. bc the origin of this misconception is when the English went up to the Baagandji people 14 hundred miles away and used this word. even though the people there didnt /speak/ guugu yimithirr, the Baagandji people reasonably interpreted this word as “an animal that hasn’t been seen before” bc i mean it makes the most sense. they used the word to describe the English’s horses, which they had never seen the likes of before.

here’s one myth: associated with the Tupi people, a major indigenous group in Brazil about a mermaid named Iara. well, mermaid after a sort. Iara grew up in a tribe that lived in the Amazon, the pride of her people, the best warrior, the smartest person, the most beautiful, and the daughter of the spiritual leader. she had two brothers who grew jealous of how much she overshadowed them in every way. so they decided to get down with some murder to solve their problems. they waited until she was asleep, bc theyre big brave warriors but also bc they knew if she was awake that she could take them. only they were only half right. she killed them both in self defense while still half-asleep bc she was that rad. only no one listened when she said it was in her defense, that they were trying to kill her. so her dad let the tribe hunt her down. she escaped for a while, but eventually with the whole tribe hunting her she was caught and drowned in a river. the fish, however, thought she was p rad so they turned her (dead body btw. she died. real dead. all the way. not even “mostly” dead. full stop dead dead) into a half-fish half-human. she was the first of the Iara, a whole group of mermaids that lived in Amazonian rivers. they (and Iara herself first) would entrance men so completely with their singing/general beauty and awesomeness that men would be lured to them/her. and what happened next differed. you either were drowned and eaten, or turned into a brainwashed member of their/her harem and treated fairly decently for a brainwashed harem member. if a man did escape, the Iara’s beauty would leave them literally insane. 

this myth probably was a result of co-mingling of indigenous beliefs and european influence. but, as i said before, it is closely associated with the Tupi people

the second myth: this time from Mayan culture. This one relates to another myth, but the backstory is what we’re talking about here. so the other myth, to provide some reference point, is another myth that is about a demon who is the spirit of a beautiful young woman. who seduces men and kills them. bc who doesn’t love a good siren mythos? but the origin of this siren-esque mythos is interesting, much like the myth of Iara. we start with the typical virgin/whore dichotomy. this time in the form of two beautiful sisters, Utz-Colel and Xkeban. which mean “good woman” and “sinner” respectively and also inventively. i think you can figure out who was the virgin and who was the whore in this dichotomy for yourself. but! interestingly enough, thats not all there was to their personalities! which is something that not even modern media can always handle, so props to the Mayans. Xkeban, the “whore” was generous with her love. which, sure, meant she had a bunch of sex. but it also meant that she shared her love with everyone, like the poor and the needy and the sick. she’d even sell the gifts from her suitors and donate the proceeds to those in need. nice lady, is what im saying. Utz-Colel, the virgin, on the other hand, took her whole “im a good girl and a virgin and im pure and therefore better than you” thing to extremes. she wouldnt even smile at those who she thought were “unworthy”. we all know the type. we’ve all met the type. this type is, apparently, eternal. unfortunately.

then, one day, Xkeban is found dead in her home, to everyone’s surprise! but instead of your typical “rotting-corpse” smell she instead emits a beautiful fragrance, the most beautiful perfume. when she was buried sweet-smelling flowers sprang up from her grave. Utz-Colel was confused. her sister was literally the worst. a dirty sinner. how could a dirty sinner emit anything but the worst stench in death? either way, she figured, she was sure to emit a smell ten times better than her sister on her own death bc she is Pure and Good. its even in her name. Utz-Colel eventually died, as so many of us do. she died a virgin and was commended by her neighbors as being very chaste. only when she died she emitted the mother of all stenches. like “rotting corpse” stench but the dial is turned up to eleven. foul-smelling flowers are what sprang form her grave. from the afterlife Utz-Colel is confused and pretty pissed off. now, for most people this may be mildly distressing and a turning of your worldview but youre dead, whats it matter now? youve got cool afterlife shit to get up to. only Utz-Colel sucks at letting things go. so she mulls this over for a while. then comes to the exact wrong conclusion. instead of “my sister was actually pretty nice, even with all the sinning and i was kinda Terrible” she thinks “my sister clearly committed the sexiest of the sins, i gotta get in on that”. so she twists Xkeban’s generosity in all things, including love, to become Xtabay (literally “female ensnarer” what ingenious subtlety) who seduces and kills wayward men. because Utz-Colel sucks at figuring out the right lesson to learn.

the three historical people to look up:

-Malinche, who was Mayan and about whom there are conflicting stories and opinoins. be sure to look up both sides. she was influential when the Spanish met the Mayans

Osh-Tisch, who was from the Crow Nation and one of the last baté(Two Spirit spiritual leaders). Officer responded and insured admitted to police officer that he tapped rear bumper. Police officer looked at my rear bumper and refused to make a police report as he said cannot issue a report unless damage is over $1500. I'm just pricing up car insurance, I currently have a provisional licence and i take my driving test next week, I'm doing insurance quotes for a 2005 volkswagen polo s 55 petrol 3 door Manual car, and I've being looking at prices for provisional drivers and newly passed drivers and the prices are ridiculous. Provisional is coming in at approx 1300, which I can cope with for the year but as soon as I pass my test BAM! prices are looking at about 2,700. I've done everything right according to the advice in the internet, we have a secure garage, off-road parking, during the day it will be kept in a secure office car park. I am looking to lower my auto insurance. The state approved defensive driving agencies I have researched offer two possibilities. Option 1. Lower auto premium DD course and Option 2. Points reduction DD course. Option 1 seem to be at the discretion at the auto insurance company but does option 2 also have an affect on insurance? Does point reduction remove traffic violations from your record and therefore results in lower insurance premium due to less violations?

I was involved in an accident in which I struck a vehicle in the rear on 11/15/2004. It was not a bad collision and I was starting to walk-up to ask the driver of the other vehicle if he was okay, when a car rear-ended me and then two more cars hit that vehicle pushing my jeep under the vehicle which I had hit causing severe damage in excess of $3500. My insurnce payed the driver I hit, but I have not received a dime from farmers insurance. I told this to my insurance agent (Progressive) and they said they would do that but I didn't have full coverage so that will not happen, I need to deal with the other partie's insurance companies. Allstate was supposed to compensate me for X amount of damage done to my car by the driver who had insurance upto 5 grand. Notice that I did not have insurance with AllState but that because the driver was at fault, and had coverage of upto $5000, AllState has agreed to pay me a portion of that 5 grand. However, the problem is the driver who was at fault is not agreeing to this and demands more in loss from AllState. Whereas, although, I myself deserve more in damage since the car was worth more than the amount I am being compenstated for, I have still decided to settle for less. Now because the driver is delaying the decision to accept the remaining amount out of 5 grand, this case/claim has not resolved SINCE 2010. They wouldn't send me check yet only because the driver needs to accept the offer also. My theory is that whether or not the driver finds the offer fair, is none of my problem. I shouldn't have to wait for 2 years only because the driver refuses their offer. I should get my share at least. Do I have a legal case against the company for taking too long in this regards ? ‘Born to play’: Cuba hears exodus of baseball knack as MLB comes knocking

Arrival of Tampa Bay Rays, the first MLB club to visit Cuba in two decades, heralds flood of interest in a baseball situation that is gifted but impoverished

Fidel Castro once famously extolled Cuban baseball players to be the standards bearers of the revolution, playing for the desire of beings , not money.

But when Barack Obama gale up his trip to Havana by attending a game between the Cuban national unit and Tampa Bay Rays, he will see sport on the island all but ready to be engulfed by a tsunami of Major League dollars.

The US chairmen visit to the Estadio Latinoamericano is intended to celebrate a sport passion that has been shared on each side of the political subdivide through decades of conflict. But video games is also likely to acclaim an opening of sporting ties.

Following the Baltimore Orioles in 1999, the Rays are the only the second Major League team to play in Havana since the Cuban Revolution of 1959. But “theyre coming” amid a rising tide of interest in the islands baseball scene, which is financially impoverished but rich in talent.

Earlier this month, Major League Baseball( MLB) deferred a proposal to allow Cuban actors to sign directly with US organizations. Tampa Bay has already opened an office in Havana. Other clubs recently held training workshops at Industriales, one the most popular team on the island.

While some neighbourhood love fear this will accelerate the exodus of Cubas better players and tutors, the reality is that despite the current embargo and local restrictions the brawn duct has long sounded unstoppable.

Last year about 150 actors left Cuba. Many, such as Yulieski Gourriel, one of the worlds highest rated third-basemen, are trying to secure agreements with Major League clubs.

There is no shortage of reasons to leave. Top participates get a basic payment of $50 a month. Second-tier squad members often need to get secondary places to make a living. Even the most popular squads accept shortages of gauntlets, bats, projectiles and caskets. Many depend on charitable donations of material. Lurches are deplorable. The stadiums are crumbling.

In a attempt to stanch or at least tap the outflow of aptitude, the Cuban baseball authorities introduced meagre sell improves three years ago: the salary detonator was filched, foreign scouts were allowed to visit Cuba and players were allowed to sign for fraternities in Canada, Japan, Mexico and Colombia.

The reforms were too small. They were not what we wanted. We want them to open the door to the Major League so we can come and go and so that American coach-and-fours can come here. At the moment, there are still too many restrictions, said Alejandro Eskenazi is a 26 -year-old, right-handed pitcher currently in the funds of Industriales.

The exodus has continued apace, often illegally, which has exposed musicians to human smugglers, physical threats and semi-exile from their dwelling nation.

Over the past three years, Eskenazi has ensure more than 20 of his former teammates manager overseas. Among them was Gourriel, widely rated as Cubas better player.

In February, to the stupor of numerous on small island developing, he and two other musicians left the Cuban team hotel during an inter-Caribbean tournament in the Dominican Republic. He is now in Haiti and thought to be preparing for a move to the Major League.

We were friends. We talked about many things, but its complicated talking about plans to leave, said Eskanazi of Gourriel. Nobody wants to discuss that. Some musicians are informers.

Ricardo Eizmendiz, a fitness tutor for Industriales says it is natural for Gourriel and others to leave not only because of the money but because they want to test themselves against the best. It is just a pity it has to be obscured because these people cant am coming, he said.

Instead, he says the process “mustve been” legalised something he concludes may happen within five years. If the embargo is filched and there is an agreement with the Major Leagues, we would get more money for Cuban baseball. We could rebuild stadiums and buy more gauntlets equipment systems, Eizmendiz said.

The coach points out that Cuba is already on course to overtake the Dominican Republic as the country with the most Major league players. Proceeding a bit further, he said, merely becomes sense.

In future, players hope such scheming is no need. Ties between Cuban baseball and the Major league are mature. With the aid of Antonio Castro, the son of former chairwoman Fidel Castro, there are new initiatives to legalise a process that is already under way.

The Major League has backed plans for an organisation to represent Cuban players, baseball public officials and entrepreneurs. It would be paid a share of payments of Major league actors, which would then be spent on education and facility improvements, thereby avoiding American embargo agreements that no money should go to the Cuban government.

If accepted by the US powers, this could not just expand the doors from Cuba, but too allow musicians to return back through them. There would be an imbalance, much as here i am with Latin American football tournaments that current afford knack to European sorority. But for Eizmendiz, a change would at least aim Cuba gets something back.

Being a nursery for the Major league wouldnt be a bad theory, he said. This is a good residence for that. We Cubans were born to play baseball.

It’s fucking painful. 

I barely even know her

but I can’t stop thinking about her

I’ve met her once, I shouldn’t feel this way about her.

I can’t concentrate on anything.

and its really fucking painful to think she probably just wanted to get away from me

I need to work on improving my skills before college starts. I need to be able to pick myself up, eat the right foods, shower and sleep at the right times

I can’t. I can only think about her

and its weird. I have had crushes before, painful ones, for girls and guys.

and I’ve spent nights awake because of it

but this is making me really sad

to feel like I’ll never be with her and she’ll probably never approve of me

its making me low, because somewhere along the lines my serotonin or dopamine or one of those kind of things has been thrown off balance

and thats basically what happens when you want more cocaine, but it would be more extreme with cocaine of course

I dont want to ask my friends to invite her out again, its embarrassing that im interested

and i feel sort of uncomfortable knowing my friend fucked her that one time

i just want to be around her

and i am well aware of how creepy this is

the next few nights have mild hallucinations

rarely scary but I have had very very fearful nights of paranoia a few days after in the past

its like certain phrases keep being replayed in your ears over and over

not thought out but heard

like theyre really there

and you know theyre not there

but you feel as if these people are really around you

and youre in the same place

and you dont question it at all

you believe they are there

and its not imposing, it doesnt raise any questions. you’re physically in your bedroom but you look around, you hear them, youre really in the place you were the other night

and eventually when youre really drifting off

it becomes lucid visual

and you see them but you also dont

and its just certain things being replayed

and it has the potential to turn into a bad trip but its mostly pleasant and soothing

and I can still hear her voice

I still hear my friends and his girlfriends

but I hear hers too

I love it

I don’t want it to go away

I cant think of what she says

well theres one phrase

and again it makes absolutely no fucking sense

shes just a completely regular fucking girl, with her own interests and experiences

I started college today

I got up at 6am, and I would’ve made it on time but I was almost sick on the bus ride.

I didn’t want that to be my first impression so I went home.

I think it’s because of the weekend. I don’t take alcohol very well, even a little. Or cigarettes. I just get migraines from anything slightly unhealthy. 

I think its more of a delayed hangover/comedown though. 

If the pills are 200mg each, I did roughly 700-900mg of MDMA on over two different days.

I started one day, rested the next and continued the day after that.

to some thats a lot. 

To others it’s a milestone they’re way past. 

It’s the most I think I’ve done in that timeframe though though. 

I’m still very tired after sleeping through the afternoon and very weak. 

I want to make it tomorrow but I don’t think I will. 

It’s a shame. I want to ace the first project and make a good first impression. 

I told them I get ill a lot, they should understand but I think they’ll be suspicious that I just happen to be seriously ill on the first day

especially after talking about how much better I am compared to the start of the year in the interview
