a lot of words incoming + spoilers for tf:one pre-words; i started with the bay movies so i didnt grow up with this franchise, i was already an elder teen by the time it came out. i came back recently due to the tfone film and i have some thoughts now that ive consumed a shitton of tf material. first of all tfone is a great film and a great introduction to the franchise. i love the designs, i love how it kinda simplifies the overall story without dumbing it down (theres a LOT of transformers lore), though it too struggles with what i think is transformers major flaw.

the politics. the movies, the cartoons, and the comics all kinda go back and forth between "the conflict is everyone's fault" and "it's actually the decepticon's fault" in the end. when i was reading the IDW comics i realised how blatantly apparent it was that they were written so close to 9/11 because the american propaganda in the arcs before MTME was denser than the bottom of the ocean floor.

the franchise is old so, yeah, the cons were supposed to be generic bad guys back in the day and most of them are still, by their own choices mostly, "bad people". but i for one think a story is more interesting when "good people" and "bad people" are not so black n white, at least thats how i prefer it. for me the problem seems to be mostly that hasbro can't decide if they want this franchise to always be a toy commercial for kids, or if they want to pander to their now aging fanbase that has held onto the franchise since the 80s. because of this the current state of its media is balancing a very fine line between being good enough for either group. it also doesnt help that hasbro is one of the worst companies ever and are scared of doing anything risky. if you want something to be memorable, it needs to be worth remembering. you cant stick to safety at all turns, itll get predictable and boring. with tfone i really enjoyed seeing the personal depth to megatron's development, that shit was good. but at the end of the film the "one bad guy" has been taken care of (sentinel) and now only good autobots are left while all the evil decepticons who like violence and only value strength are the baddies.

placing the systematic problem of class difference on ONE individual is... bad. it lacks depth. it lacks reflection. the comics have tried to make it more apparent that it was a systematic problem with years of influence from many different individuals that kept up that system that was the problem, and not just one boogeyman.

it feels very american, the idea that oh, its just one person who is to blame for everything and if we get rid of that person everything will be fine - except for those crazy loonies who are angry and like violence, we'll need to get rid of those too eventually! and making it all just a personal conflict between two people with different emotions regarding a situation being the reason for a whole population dividing into two.

i havent finished IDW's run yet so i cant say what theyll do in the future, but ive already seen them do the jk rowling thing of "decepticons are all inherently bad and will always make bad choices except for this 1 guy who is gonna be on the good guys' side" and i want to rip my hair out because its just, so unrealistic. its so short sighted. narrow minded. whatever you wanna call it.

i remember this being the reason i stopped being interested in the franchise because it has the potential for a really cool, in depth story with a very deep look into why people make the choices that they make, but ultimately an american company is never going to be brave enough to tackle something that isnt going to propagate the political agenda of the united states.

same shit happened with arcane and it makes me sad, that art and complexity must be sacrificed because of capital.

• Context : hes never met the Glamrocks before due to this, but he used to idolize them. He used to dress up as them and everything and always daydream about meeting them XD. He was just like the kids in that regard lol. He like really thought they were cool and its adorable. But obviously when all the virus shit happened he got too stressed to think about any of that.

• So, now that everythings even better than it used to be, his little glamrock interest starts back up in full swing

• (Also, the Glamrocks have kind of met moon. Just seen him from afar on patrol before, and also may have had an encounter or two w him when he was infected. But they dont know him properly or anythin)

• Sun finds out through the staff that apparently on the weekend afterhours, the band is gonna be having a practice session and run through on the main stage for a new performance. He gets like, super excited and begs Moon to ask if they can go watch, and to take him there

• Moon ends up asking some staff to arrange it and they do

• The glams are like, super curious but also a little put off/weirded out. Mostly cus theyve heard the dcas are weird or annoying (mostly sprouting from how sun can b a little much and moon can b a little scary at times. Their behaviour was amplified w the virus shit, making sun into an overbearing anxious mess and moon absolutely feral. Alot of staff didnt get good impressions from that and so rumors and shit spread alot)

• Freddy is mostly just curious and is just kinda assuring everyone hes sure itll be fine and that theyll be nice.

• Chicas actually kinda excited and trying to also be positive

• Roxy is convinced theyll be weird and childish and annoying

• Monty is also convinced theyll be freaky and annoying

• The day comes and Sunny shows up fully dressed up. He basically tried to imitate the glamrocks and its absolutely precious. Hes so damn excited and a lil nervous and shy.

• The glams spot him as hes bouncing over, holdimg moons hand and practically glowing, and their jaws just drop.

• Hes nothing like they imagined.

• Even roxy and monty immediately warm up a lil at realizing how hard he tried to look like them

• Its the cutest thing. They all think its so sweet

• He introduces himself and is just positively beaming, and a lil jittery. Bro is literally meeting his idols.

• Hes complimenting all of them and the way he looks at them makes them a lil flustered XD

• So they practice and all, like planned, and Sunny goes wild lmao. Whooping, cheering, whistling, everything XD. It makes them all feel a lil more energized than it probably should (he tends to have that effect :) )

• Afterwards, everyone just sits and talks and gets to know one another. Its nice.

• By the end of the night Sun tires himself out from all the excitement and falls asleep in Moons lap.

• Moon takes him back and bids everyone goodbye.

• Safe to say, they made a good impression on everyone and now theyve all decided that Sun must be protected and loved at all costs XD

LET THIS BE CLEAR THAT THIS BLOG ALSO SERVE TO ME AS A GODAMN PRIVATE JOURNAL THAT ISNT PRIVATE BECAUSE I HAVE A VALIDATION AND SELF CONFIDANCE ISSUE. are we good ? 99% of the people who could read this already skipped ? fine. lets start on a good news! @makoto-naegi-stud-and-friends (who has a dumb discord name NO I WILL NEVER STOP SAYING IT (unless you like, tell me that you dont like this running gag, and if so i'll stop imediately bud)) and @plaindangan (da plain! they are so cool) but i just got out FINNALY of a very toxic relation on the cowede side of my life! that had been going on for what... 3 years now ? basically that person is russian (the cliches are stable) and has psychological issue (probably dementia, but like, i don't have dementia and i forget stuff constantly and before i begin sounding like an horrible person i swear that russian had dementia precisely when they needed too seemingly, just now i remembered i must kobeni @plaindangan will get it) and the thing is... they asked for a LOT and I mean a LOT, and when they actually put some godamn effort they were great, and of course at first in our relation they did put ton of effort, were proactive in ideas and tried different super cool stuff, like actually talking in code when playing a robot character, they also gave me lots of cool ideas and experimentations about erp that i very much enjoyed and brought to other places with... mostly failure than success ? but hey. So whats the issue ? picture this. you start a rp, and you have to play 8 different character in one action. then in the very next action you must make, you must replay them all but instantly corrupted and now cucking their boyfriends and slobering other that person cock. At some point they ask you to add 4 more character because "its not enough". do you get a please ? a thank you ? nope. ah maybe a matching response in term of words and quality ? nope. the person (lets call them X from now on, should have do it earlier but the problem is I write like i talk and i talk like a very very bad comedian) will start talking in the first person, completely not only forget but factually they dont care about what the rp is about, setting, characters, even the characters the other play, its just them and the others, but also the answers are super short, almost on the level of a "i fuck them, continue" . Oh at the very least you can say theyll get bored of it once they have it and we can move on to something else, maybe be back to creative teasefull stuff since they are actually great at this writing wise. NOPE, theyll freeze the rp for weeks, if you try to ask them if we could continue they say "i dont feel like it" and whenever too much time pass surprisingly its your fault now. so you do what ? you create another rp start with X, hoping this time maybe we'll get each other better. it shouldnt be too much of a problem for me ? those who know me conscerning rp know that I kinda have... an obsession with beginings ? like i actively want to do long term, but after some time my brain freeze and i dont know what to write anymore.. and of course my stupid brain get other ideas about other characters, that i pitch to my partner (once again @plaindangan and especially @makoto-naegi-stud-and-friends the goats suffered from this) and we end up starting this other pitch. Or, let's talk about an au where enid plans to fucking dominate this school she's forced to go too for a chance to see Wednesday again

Here's the thing, it's been three or so months into the school year before it got abruptly cut short due to crackstone. A semester takes five months and there's two of them in a school year. All of that makes ten months to finish.

It was close to a year before Enid could see Wednesday again. Twelve months, it's nearly been that long and Enid feels like she's about to go insane.

Two months of winter, stuck in the hell that is her home before getting shipped to some private pretentious school for five more months to finish her sophomore year. She's surprised she didn't lose her sanity when she spent two months of summer back in San Fran. Luckily, it took one month of her first semester to finally clear the clouds and with it, her mind.

Honestly, Enid hasn't been paying attention during her time in this up stuck school and to think it was the word Nevermore that catches her attention.

It's enough to snap her into reality and before she knows it, she's grabbing onto another student's arm and dragging the both of them away from the crowd. Her grip is tight, unforgiving and if one were to look closer, begging.

"what's happening," she asks, uncaring of the way they shake. Her teeth bares and they still, clamming up and freezing. Good. "what's this about nevermore?"

This school is secretive for a reason, secluded and a private class all on its own. The best place to take care of werewolves! The school claims. The thought makes Enid rolls her eyes. Dramatic, she'd bet Wednesday would've burnt this school to the ground if she could.

Anyways, the school is private with a capital P. Which makes news from the outside hard to reach. Well, that is unless you out in some effort. Effort that Enid clearly hasn't done, much to her irritation.

"s-sinclair!" they cry out and Enid blinks before giving a tiny apologetic look when she realized her claws dug into their skin. It's fine, theyll heal. "the poe cup - They've been sent an invite. There's just a ruckus because they haven't accepted before!"

Enid clicks her tongue and her grip tightens.

"that's it?" she says, tilting her head. "nothing about participants?"

Their head shakes before they pause for a second and with a hesitant voice, they continued. "I've heard that an Addams might join."

It's enough to make enid bring them close with a growing smile on her face. In turn, the wolf in her hands turn pale and their breathing frantic.

"really?" Enid breathes and oh is that wonderful news. "an Addams?" Wednesday, it must be Wednesday.

It has to be.

They nod immediately, their head tilting back and baring their neck for her to see. "yes! Yknow that nevermore are desperate for sponsors with all the bad rep they have now-"

Enid growls, deep and rumbling from her chest. Immediately they shut up, a whine leaving their throat. She may not be in that school, not anymore but she grew up there and that means something.

When a whimper leaves their pathetic throat, her nails finally let go with a shlick. They stumble back, their hands clammy and their shoulders shaking. Yet even then, they stay.

Good. They know whatll happen when they run.

There's an anger burning in her stomach because no, she does not know anything about nevermore.

"tell me," she starts, wiping off their remains at her pants. "when does this Poe cup start?"

The answer she hears is wonderful.

Two months.

Two more months until she can meet Wednesday again.

Okay, so remember that concept with allura having amnesia? Ive been thinking about that. a lot. and how it related to kuron specifically-

Beacuse there are PARALELLS here. They both have to deal with a legacy left by a past version of them and they both irreversibly change as people. Kuron resents Shiro and what he represents, and allura struggles with living up to the mysticisied and glorified hero everyone tells her shes supposed to be. and its like- if they talked about it like NORMAL PEOPLE, if Kuron had ANY emotional intelligence left, they would see that they have a lot in common actually!!

BUT. at the same time. I dont think its really possible for them to do that, at least right now, beacuse a huge fuckin part of kurons trauma was caused by allura fucking KILLING HIM, and hes understandably pissed about it. and i think that allura not remembering anything would only make him even more upset, bc everyone besides him mourned and idolisied her, and constantly hearing how great and noble the person who killed you was must suck ass, and then she COMES BACK, and maybe Kuron wants to yell at her and make her feel guilty for what she did and he wants to look her in the face and tell her exactly what he thinks about her- but he CANT. beacuse she killed him, took his body from him, and she DOESNT REMEMBER.

i dont really know where i'm going with this, but. yeah. this whole situation propably sucks ass for both of them(maybe theyll never reconsile. Maybe they wont end up as friends. And that's okay!! its cool to think about tho)

So much of post s8 au is people who could have understood one another but dont because of the trauma everyone has, and Allura and Kuron are prime examples of it.

Kuron is not happy with her at all and all this 'hero worship' around her just further exacerbates it cause she used his body to bring back Shiro. Didnt even care that they were friends, didnt even care that he was a person, didnt even care that he may have been still alive, just used his body to bring Shiro back. And he hates her for it and hates people treating her like a hero and would have let her know that she's the worst but what is the point of that? She isnt here is she? She's dead and gone and they couldnt even bring back a body to bury because nothing of her left. So really what is the point of hating a dead woman? He avoids anything and every thing to do with her, and just tries very hard not to think about her, no bad vibes here sir we are just chillin hahahaha 😎😎😎😎😎

.......and then she comes back! And oh boy. Kuron is not having a good time at all. He is still very much avoiding her. If she's in the room, he's leaving the room and if he cant than being extremely snide and just glaring at her. Like he truly does want to explode on her and many times came close as well, but than he just walks out and screams in a pillow.

Allura has no fucking clue what to do with him. She doesnt even know him, doesnt know what his problem is, and thinks he's annoying. Really annoying and rude and she knows when she isnt wanted. Like she has met some genuinely terrible people on her journey throughout multiverse and Kuron is definately much better than them but also?? He's a fucking cunt. Everyone else is on the edge around him but no one wants to talk about it. And fine! Whatever! It's not like she's curious about what the fuck is up with this guy, or why he's the only one who doesnt look at her and is either about to cry or look at her like she personally put stars in the sky. She has too many problems and doesnt have the time for some dude's hostility.

But like once she knows about the whole mind replacing thing? Either because she was told or because she remembered bits and pieces. She's going to feel so guilty about it! Like crushing guilt. She'll try to make it up to him but given that he doesnt want to talk to her and even if he did she is convinced he probably hates her and doesnt want to see hom so she just. Going down the guilt spiral. Along with everything else

And yeah I think Kuron can never forgive Allura just like how he can never forgive Shiro. But i also think they'll come to an understanding and realize that they are similar and learn how to live with their pasts without it consuming them.

34. How well do they deal with grief?

this is a difficult one because i dont know if theyve ever dealt with true grief .....trying to thonk.. i mean rather than experience grief afhiri will become immortal to never have to bury gale so one must assume it wouldn't be dealt with very well. but also does afhiri have the mental capacity to truly understand the complexity of grief and how to navigate it at all? would they just be sad and not really understand and just live with that until they don't? afhiri has never experienced the deaths most do in order to learn of grief as a concept. no grandparents to mourn, no pet deaths, and nothing happens in game that could trigger that in afhiri ...... after much deliberation i've come to the conclusion that afhiri does not understand the feeling, does not know the word for it (has to be taught), and deals with it in a very child like way. they understand it hurts, they don't like it, they want it to stop and they don't understand why this person, or pet, is gone, and just wants them to come back. very, why did you leave me . haha .. hurt myself now damn YOOUUU

38. What are their dreams like? Do they have any recurring dreams/nightmares?

ignoring the tadpole/guardian related dreams..... they absolutely have recurring nightmares of the moment in act 2 with the heart of the absolute where gale is intent on dying. see afhiri is intent on dying with him but has this nagging feeling that they could just decide to live, actually. wouldnt that be so much nicer? and i can see them repeating that moment in their head with the result of gale deciding that being alive together isnt enough and they need to die. haha this kind of falls in line with the other question doesnt it ahaha........ afhiri has grief inspired nightmares over a possibility that never actually occurred.

in General though we must accept that afhiri has the type of dreams we assume dogs to have. oh look, she's running! she's running in her sleep! is she.. chewing in her sleep ?? oh you know....very simple very happy having a good time doing her favourite things!!!! (playing the flute, hanging out with her friends, holding gales hand!!! etc etc )

43. Can they handle stressful situations?

oh yes, with incredible efficiency. (does not know theyre stressful) THIS IS A HALF JOKE. they handle many many many of the stressful situations in game extremely well because they are acting the entire time its all a performance they are doing a bit they are clownin on you right now and if anything stressful happens it washes over them because a clown can't get stressed in the middle of the bit, be a pretty terrible clown if that happened (still a terrible clown though)

however if its a serious (to afhiri) stressful situation like. boyfriend blow up time, afhiri is the type to look at their loved ones for help. how on earth can someone who can't string two thoughts together figure out the correct way to handle a situation that actually requires two thoughts. thats stressful man. someone please approach the stage and take this clowns hand. wheres their assistant !!!

it really comes down to how personally important they are to afhiri. this also means most of the games events are not personally important to afhiri and i still dont know why they let them lead???

45. Do they plan in advance or just wing it?

I am so incredibly happy wilbur has phil and techno. someone to be proud of him. someone whos judgement he respects. someone he's gonna believe when they say they are proud. someone that cares. and someone that respects him and his wishes. sbi fambly has me weak on my knees every time. its finally having those people in his life for wilbur. its so important to me how phil clearly shows that he has the same love and care for wilbur that he has for tommy, treating them the same, just adjusted to what they both need (OH SANDDUO MY BELOVED SANDDUO). not that techno doesnt show the fact he accepts wilbur into their little family too, his own way, say stuff like "we've taught you well" and "kid", showing worry for wilburs safety etc. and like phil, techno and tommy have been this to each other for a while and now theyre also there for wilbur. I mean look how they were immediately ready to get wilbur out of erets reach, expecting he wouldnt want to go back and having a plan prepared to help. and they let tommy go away with wilbur and like yeah they have no right to try and hold him back, but its how accepting of it they are, like they clearly knew tommy will leave with wilbur and they respect it, knowing its the best for them both even tho that means letting them go, even if hopefully for just a while, like that parental/caregiver feelings must be screaming.

and phil calling wilbur MINE to protect just tops it all perfectly, wraps it up in a decorative paper like the best gift, going straight to you heart

8. the option to leave is so dhfhhfhdhd. like yeah maybe it is that easy. just leave. get away from it all. the little "Oh. <i>Oh.</i>" when wilbur realises he can just do that. he can just leave. hes free. fully free to do so kinda for the first time in his life. and once its sure tommy would go with him, its easy. like yeah they have to smuggle through the border and get fake ids and stuff, but after all theyve been though it feels easy. there is a clear solution for his situation. the knowledge that if they manage to get past the borders (a pretty simple tho risky task) hell be fine. like yes he still has to figure himself out but hell be somewhere where he is free to do so and tommy will be there. what more to ask for. its the clearest idea of what will come theyve ever had. and it says that they will be okay.

also than in comes quackity with a suggestion they might be seeing a familiar face sooner than expected, which sounds nice.

and in the end they do it. they get past the border. they leave and theyre safe and together and theyll be okay fjjdjsjsjyj

sbi family is very important in glass for several reasons but especially so wilbur has some basis of caring relationships outside of JUST tommy lol

both phil and techno have accepted wilbur into their family at this point. from the start phil and techno both knew that eret was probably not going to let the pythia go, it was just a matter of the two of them figuring out if that's what wilbur wanted or not. because even though they both had figured out that being the pythia was destroying wilbur, neither of them were going to take that choice away from him. if he made the decision to go back to his role with eret in charge, neither one of them were going to stop him.

but then wilbur confesses that he doesn't want to be the pythia anymore, and all bets are off. both of them started brainstorming escape ideas for wilbur before the palace invasion even happened because even though they weren't certain, they both had a gut feeling eret was going to pull this.

I think techno was the one who pointed out to phil that tommy was definitely going to go with wilbur if he left. and while phil was reluctant, he knows his kid and he knew there was no way he could stop him. and he also knew there was no way wilbur would go without him.

THIS IS NOT A LEMMON CHAPTER, but theres gonna be more lemmon chapters on this fics. Mostly to make their relationship more intense and passionate. This one would be in the middle of chapter 24 from the original fic

Nora was still in the Prydwen and Arthur was desesperatly trying to convince her to not scape in whenever moment he goes to take the Wilson Atomatoys Factory. In the second he is gone, she is too, and he was planning all the impossible to change her mind…it was difficult tho. She was difficult.

Lately, she let him rest over her belly, touch with his hand or even place his head, it wasn’t big tho, a bit more than 3 months, almost 4, her swollen belly with their Maxson child inside. If it wasn’t for the fact that he was under the constant menace of she leaving his side…he would be living the dream.

another funny thing about the "irredeemable media" crowd is that theyll be like. "i consume all my interests critically :)" and in the next breath say "this media is bad and cant be consumed critically" none of you know what a fucking critical analysis is and none of you paid attention in freshman english and it shows.

they weren't paying attention in freshman english because they were too busy watching racist anime and slapping it with the good taste gang label because whatever 'problematic' (which can range from anything to 'made a bad joke' to 'straight pro fascist propaganda') thing they like can be handwaved away by the 'i'm consuming it critically!' but whatever 'problematic' thing OTHER people like is definitely not being consumed by THEM critically because nobody ever can have nuanced takes on media except for them personally.

it's annoying that people slap like 'oh this is a Bad media' and never delve into it because i want to know WHY it's bad. is it bad unintentionally? intentionally? is it trying to convince the reader/watcher/listener something nefarious, or is it well intentioned but goes about it in all the wrong ways? is it structure outside of the story good, or is it bad for structural reasons as well as reasons within the plot and themes? (ie, for a book, being written with poor grammar or something lol). like these things are important to know, it's important to realize not just something is bad but why it is bad, so we can learn from our mistakes going forward and recognize it in both media we read/watch/listen and in media we ourselves write.

and then people will dismiss something wholesale and then go on to consume things that have their own problems, but since it has the Checkmark of Approval from whatever social media site they're most popular on, they won't examine what's wrong with it because all they know is that it's better than whatever else was that other thing so it must be fine! god forbid they actually tell you why it's fine and the other thing isn't. for people who say they consume their interests critically they are not particularly critical about their interests!!

hey from one nd person to another the comic where fm gordon says a slur seems kind of in poor taste. ik ur not intentionally making light of it and tht occurring in fm should be criticized but while you dont make it out to be a good thing making jokes about it and calling him a "slurboy" is kind of questionable? it makes it seem more like a plotpoint and angst rather than the creator of fm genuinely fucking up in the past (and having moved on from it)! i think exploring fm coming to terms with being nd is a good idea but this isnt the best way to do it. if you want me to explain my point more lmk if/when u post this and i will! someone already made a post abt it but it was kinda strongly worded and i wanted to approach you more calmly because i genuinely dont want to call you out or start drama or anything ;-;

first off thank you for being civil and patient with me i appreciate this ask a lot- also this got long- im not in a flying rage or anything when i bold or emphasis text, i just needed it also for my own readability and since im not the best at wording- hopefully this hellsite works and my response is under the cut

i would like to know how is it in poor taste when freemind explicitly gets clocked at the very end for saying it. the entire point of the comic was to show that saying the r slur has existed in his source and is bad

im not sure how much more direct i can get, with the disclaimer/warning list growing longer and longer and out there for a huge sign that says “this au can get dark as fuck and these subject matters are treated seriously/not something to mess around with.” Like yes, there are some jokes in the asks and other comics, but that specific comic is not supposed to be “haha thats funny”. it has a serious tone using a rough sketch style bc i was super tired and wanted to vent

was it just the direct reference to it that just made people uncomfortable? because thats 100% understandable, and i made sure i tagged it appropriately (although admittedly, a little bit late since i thought the filter would catch at least the main thing)

i think what some people somehow got from it is “exploring sensitive content = endorsing said content” which! that is not the intent! i absolutely do not want people saying that word! I don’t want people thinking that is any way okay for this character to say

its more of a damned if i do address it, damned if i dont.

if it never comes up, people are gonna assume that ‘oh this character says slurs and is shit, surely the creator or fan-creator MUST be okay with it and woobifies freemind and absolves him of any mistakes’ or something like that. no. this asshole has an arc and i want to do it right. its serious and i think it shouldn’t be shoved under the rug

and people just. dont want to read for context for whatever reason. theyll start watching it and get taken aback by the slur and start blaming me ‘hey you never warned for this’ when very early on i keep mentioning over and over ‘you dont have to watch it if you dont want to! This has slurs and 2000s internet brand humor/style’ You really dont, I’m not forcing you to watch it- Literally all you need to know is either canon half life or hl/vrai. thats it. fm mostly follows hl1 with very slight changes.

so i had to make something that:

1. warns people who arent aware and dont want to go through my asks or about/warning pages (for whatever reason) and just want to see the art

2. also NOT downplay freemind’s canon assholery. listen, i kinda despise writing mean and cruel characters, theyre hard to do, and a lot of people get shit for doing it wrong or people going “character = author”

i’ve also considered leaving the bubbles blank, but then people could fill it with whatever they want, then blame me for being vague. or they’d fill it in with a different kind of slur that freemind has never used, even if he MIGHT be the type to do that. I needed to explicitly mention that it is ableist slur. There are shitty racist and other problematic jokes, but never those kinds of extreme racial slurs to my knowledge.

Although I do see your point that maybe joking about it outside of the serious stuff might not be the best route. The slurboy jokes are getting stale, and I will try a better way to remind people.

The thing that gets to me is that it feels people are more than ready to defend either Ross Scott or Gordon Freeman the fictonal character himself. I don’t??? really care for Ross Scott, so I don’t know if he’s ever brought it up specifically. I’m not really calling him out or cancelling him. Idc for some white man’s feelings, im only bringing the timeframe of That era and reworking it to fit in This current era.

And I hate to break it to people: Gordon Freeman is a blank slate character, you can project whatever the hell you want on him as long as it’s not freakshit illegal garbage. The machinimas (fm, hl/vrai) do have SOME characterization that I want to nail down. It fucking sucks when characters are ooc, and I’m trying not to do that, even if it means sacrificing some comfort. But still mostly staying in my comfort zone if that makes sense
