Love the little after death convo at the end of Cleo's finale episode. Talking with Grian about how they died. Saying that they knew they weren't going to win but still went out swinging. Saying she was proud of Grian for staying behind to at least try to either kill Gem, Scott, or Impulse or hurt them enough that Gem wouldn't win. Him actually taking out so many of their hearts. All of the Roomies holding onto their loyalty till the very end. Listening to Etho saying he wanted to die in his base, his home, from Scar's POV. Scar only managing to catch up when Etho was in his base.

Can never forget my roomie being very excited for Qi Rong to appear only for me to immediately burst out giggling because Qi Rong is the silliest character ever, and he was like no, but he’s a cannibal. He’s like he’s disturbing, right, right? He’s like disturbing and dangerous, He hangs people.

Meanwhile I was like sure, sure. Knowing the whole time that we were about to watch Qi Rong get beat up by his big cousin and his boyfriend like the joy of sitting there, knowing that he was about to get curb stomped while my roomie was prepared for this dark, mysterious villain will truly be the highlight of my watching season two experience.

i feel like a little scavenger rat. like a tertiary source if you will. i think some of the weird anact/anakt (i still dont know) things have been foreshadowed before they were released on patreon?

idk these shots very much give brainwashing and 1984 vibes? especially that second one like... dawg

as a whole anakt *does* seem to be a place to encourage musical talent but in a very. brainwashy way. not just to sing well but to sing perfectly. like *cough* a doll. and in a way that keeps the humans from rebelling.

it also seems to be somewhat secluded and prestigious? which makes sense like. if icons like ivan and luka come out of it and theyre getting a ton of brand deals and supplies to be medically monitored that has got to take a lot of money. also what with unsha and urak being in a weird mafia business situationship im not exactly sure but! sketchy power dynamics and that probably means money and again that probably means youd want to send your human pet whos gonna live like 50 years max to the place which is known for the best money making pet humans. idk.

not to mention how far anakt actually is from the cityscape (distance of the buildings during the meteor escape + the transportation vehicle things?? im assuming theyre that since mizi brought a lot of little things like a comb and a stuffed animal. which do give more of a going somewhere and staying rather than easily going back and forth blahblahblah)

idk at what point the characters debut in entertainment but i assume it would still be when they're at anakt? many people have noted the similarities between alien stage and the kpop industry so it wouldn't be surprising if they debuted at very early ages, especially considering how the aliens live much longer and might want to debut evens ooner to maximize profit. i think this timing would also match up with ivans masking tendencies (from going to calling till a loser while. also being called a loser to an extent -> practicing his smile + being called "too perfect" which would be beneficial to develop quickly ig?)

it would explain the in-universe fanbase situation too. why would fans be rioting for a participants REVIVAL unless they knew them enough? sure sua could present herself during the prelims but theres no way that would be enough. (also there was whatever going on with the chuck e cheese situation- i. its giving mall santa? honestly dont know how to explain that. probably improved her publicity though)

not to mention luka looks way younger during this sequence. yes bud was made in a lab so hes bound to get more attention but. idk.

the birdsnake (tim/danny) au in my head has very little plot, just Danny not being taken by the cult at the end of the arc and him and Tim both staying at Brentwood (and maybe trying to be his own hero as kid cobra)

an antagonist, who’s either with or against the cult of the cobra, tracks them down and confronts them in front of their other friends like Kip, Buzz and maybe even the skaters like Star and gives an ominous warning about telling their friends who they really are and what they’ve been hiding (as in robin and a cult of the cobra reincarnation)

their friends just assume this guy is a homophobe trying to out them and this supervillain is honest to god chased away by a bunch of protective high schoolers armed with nothing but sports balls and skateboards before he can even finish his threat, the others let Tim and Danny know it’s okay they “figured out you were dating not long so back”

but they have literally no other explanations on to what that guy was talking about that won’t make it sound like they got involved in a gang or something

So they have no choice, Tim’s recently broken up with and Danny’s openly single, it’s not the nineties anymore and they’re friends seem to be pretty accepting and really what do they have to lose?

no let’s talk about cScott’s strategy in the life series being the social game. Let’s talk about how he’ll just kinda play nice with everyone and get to very high placements as a result. Do you wonder if his past allies feel used by him? If they feel like they’re just part of the strategy of his own game? Did you realize how rarely Scott has recurring alliances? Do you think they wonder about if they were just someone Scott could get to a higher result to feel good about? Or someone that could get him the win? Or are you normal

all I’m saying is usually we go on lengthy talks about Scott being nice and sweet and wholesome but this guy (character) is good at the murder game! Really worryingly good! Let’s delve into that some more!
