I think Jonny should have these. Somebody— he doesn’t know who— got them for him and he hates them; he only wears them when he has no other semi-clean pyjamas. (He got them for himself. He loves them. He wears them all the time. He regrets not getting more than one set. He mends them and remakes them as needed. Going so far as to print the design onto new fabric himself.)

one of. My biggest cosplay tips as a guy who hasn’t made that many but is currently making crazy adjustments to 3D print files online. Is keep an eye on your sizing and proportions. You don’t want things to be accurately sized to how they would be irl, especially if your character and you have even slightly different body types, you want them to be well-proportioned, so that you look as close to natural wearing the costume as you can. Like it was made for u. For me this means sizing up a bunch of buttons and buckles to be more stylized on my body and sizing down a prop in places so it’s good looking but still practical and not dragging on the ground bc I have shorter legs than an elf. I have different proportions than the character so im maintaining the design’s shape and relative size (which pieces are big medium small on the character) by scooting things around until they fit right

Do you ever think about how beautifully metatextual the Clair Obscur soundtrack is and how much you only realize it after you've finished the game?

(spoilers in the details below the cut)

At the end of the game, depending on your choices, you get one of two epilogues, right? One is "A Life to Love" and the other is "A Life to Paint."

These are also the names of two very important (and absolutely AWESOME) 11 minute tracks on the soundtrack that are used during two significant parts of the game. The first - "Une vie à t'aimer" - plays during the fight against Painted Renoir, and the second - "Une vie à peindre" - plays during the fight against Renoir at the very end of the game.

But there's a third 11 minute track on the soundtrack in the same vein as the first two: "Une vie à rêver". But we never really her this track in the game outside of parts of beginning playing during Alicia's "rebirth" in the canvas as Maelle (and a few other parts during her personal quest).

Where do we see "A Life to Dream" as this track might imply? We don't, except that those are the words written on the envelope of the letter that Painted Alicia gives to Painted Verso with the request he deliver it to Maelle. This is something Verso never does, however. Instead, he tosses it into the harbour after reading it himself.

Maybe once upon a time a third resolution was possible. Maybe once upon a time there was a third path open to everyone - where a better world could be created instead of having to choose between Maelle and Verso's individual selfishness. But that possibility is literally cast into the sea, and this ending - like the third track - loses its place in the game.

I think about that a lot.

Thinking about hologram T’pel, when Tuvok was giving Tom specifications about her personality and body to make the holoprogram… I wonder how detailed he got lol and if VOY wasn’t pg what else Tuvok would’ve complained that Tom took “artistic license” on besides her ears 😶‍🌫️ (also thinking about Tom Paris being obsessive about Tuvok’s relationship with his wife lol) (I’m assuming that’s how Tom got the info so I could be wrong but still)

I think it's sweet that our beloved Mayor has Hershey now. I mean, not comparing Mayor's centuries and centuries of trauma to a dog's few years of life, but they're kinda going through the same thing. Both of them have lost someone who was once always there for them and now that person's gone so they both have to deal with the change. I'm happy Mayor has Hershey, good for them, truly. Mayor deserves everything good. :)
