This picture was taken in Shelby County, KY and it is of a middle class neighborhood. Usually in small towns, especially in Kentucky, the social classes are easily passed down as they can’t completely go down in class but can certainly go up. This is known as Social Reproduction, where social classes get passed down through generations.

Skid Row is a section of Los Angeles where there are thousands of homeless people, sidewalks that stretch for miles with a homeless person just feet from each other. Most of the time when someone goes into Skid Row they just accept their fate and fall into this Culture of Poverty where they do not try their best to escape that culture.

Causation is one variable impacts another one, the first variable is the force of the leg puts on the ball and the second is the distance that the ball goes. The second picture is after the ball was kicked (off target) so the ball was kicking about 50 yards down field (second variable) because the force on the ball (first variable) launched it that far.

A violation of a norm that has codified as a law is a crime, and damaging city property is a crime. This is a bench in Elysian Park and it is all marked up which violates a norm that you do not damage other people’s things. If these violators would have been caught they would have been fined or faced jail time for this violation of a law.

Race is defined as a “socially defined category, based on real or perceived biological differences between groups of people” in this picture there are at least five people that are biologically different from the next person. This puts them in their own sociological category that is created through their differences.

I found this picture online for Conspicuous Consumption, I had to look online because I could not witness these things first hand. This is a picture of a man with a cheetah in the passenger seat. First, cheetahs are very expensive and two, cheetahs are not necessary or needed for humans. You could only get a cheetah if you have money to spend.
