This is a reminder to everyone in North America who is unable to get tickets for the pre-sale and general sale of Sleep Token’s Teeth of God tour. DO NOT buy resale tickets through third-party vendors like StubHub, Seat Geek, Vivid Seats, etc. Tickets for the Teeth of God tour are mobile-only and non-transferable. This means the seller will not be able to transfer the tickets you purchased from them. The only reliable way to purchase tickets to this tour is through Ticketmaster or your local venue’s ticketing system. Please protect yourself and do not get scammed. If you do not have tickets and need tickets, check out the list I’ve created below the cut. Once pre-sales/general sales are over, I’ll update this post with more links. i have been lowkey going a little insane in the membrane these past couple days trying to figure out a way to reorganize my dvd collection so it doesn't make me feel terrible about the way i organize my dvd collection. Right now it's loosely by genre and i feel like my biggest issue with it is my lack of respect for genres as a concept (because i don't Get It <3) so it's like who am i doing that shit for? I think my best option is to start from scratch and go alphabetically and just count every space i have available so i can math how much space between letter i should allow for future acquisitions?? i have a decent list of stuff i want to add to the collection so for a minute i was thinking of specifically leaving space for those as well as general spaces but that could become an issue quickly since i'm still 150+ movies away from watching everything in my English movie list and still have the full foreign list to go, and i've been purposefully putting off certain movies because they came out too recently and i still see people talk about them and i've got a whole Thing about that, but i suspect a decent number of those will end up on my wish list anyway. Alphabetically with gaps is what i'll do at least for now i ithink but the reality of it is that i'm going to need another dvd book. Like at some point it's an inevitability for me, the ones i have are already so full

folio society is so expensive but it's honestly less stressful purchasing from them directly than otherwise hunting online for an exact edition of a book in good condition
#personal#i dont want to own many books. most books in fact. i would rather not own. but my faves?!?!?!?! i want them NICE#plus when a family member is like 'what gift do you want' i can literally send them the exact link instead of doing a bunch of research#and giving a detailed list of reqs#like i want piranesi so badddd but i want#1) a clean hardcover without a stamp/logo (womens prize or botm etc) AND#2) an edition with the extra chapter (waterstones or barnes and noble)#BUT the barnes and noble exclusive extra chapter HB has an unremovable stamp. so thats out of the question#so the only version left is the waterstones exlusive w extra chapter. but all the resales of those online are signed#and therefore more expensive#and i dont want a signed copy anyway. ugggghhhhh!!!!#and even those are compromises based on what exists bc i prefer when HB covers are printed onto the book itself rather than the dust jacket#and piranesi HB afaik is only being sold w dust jacket (tho to be fair the piranesi HB art direction is beautiful)#folio made a version of JS&MN which i havent read yet and therefore wouldn't buy a folio version of (yet)#but i'm wondering if they'd do a piranesi version in like 6 years for a 10 year anniversary or smth. since they've printed clarke before#would it even be worth waiting for? just the possibility? and then u have the issue of the movie coming out in the next idk ~2-5 years ish#and god i want the film to be beautiful. but idk if i want a Film Cover Book#the balance between Waiting for the best possible version and getting it now so i dont have to deal with wanting it anymore!!!!#still on the hunt for *** ************ ** ******* ******* and *** ********* too

cigarettes after sex is coming to my city next week and i’ve been wanting to see them live for so long but i haven’t been to a concert alone in almost 2 years and i’m nervous i can’t decide if it’s worth it to get a ticket
#i have multiple friends who want to go but the resale is just way too expensive for any of them#the only reason i can afford a ticket is bc my sister got me a stubhub gift card for my birthday that i haven’t used yet#idk i used to go to concerts alone semi often but they were always smaller ones and this is at one of the biggest venues in my state#i’ve been there multiple times before and i always drive myself so i’m not worried safety wise i just think it’ll be overwhelming#to be alone at such a big show especially bc i can’t afford pit tickets so i won’t really be able to make friends in line or anything#idkkk i keep going back and forth bc do i really want to spend that much money if the idea of going alone is stressing me out so much#but on the other hand i was so upset when i couldn’t afford to see them last year and who knows when they’ll be back after this tour#lj.txt

also just generally speaking but. ticketmaster can go die in a hole i hate them so much. i went 2 casually check out how much tix for a particular show in september would be and one (1) single solitary hour after they fucking went on sale last friday ticketmaster was already only showing resale tickets. for what im sure was a stupidly jacked up price like come the fuck onnnnn no WAY is ur general admission only show at a mid size venue charging $155...... an hour later they were $216. right now theyre $223. :|
#the venue only holds like 2300 and i know that smaller venue doesnt necessarily mean less popular bands but generally speaking#ime u arent gonna pay arena or stadium band ticket price for small and midsize venues#unless apparently ur stuck buying resale on ticketmaster with their bullshit dynamic pricing based on 'demand' or w/e#im not invested enough in these bands right now anyways (i say after paying over $200 for a concert where i only care about the opener....)#but thats different i actually like the whole of HUs catalogue and halestorm (one of the headliners) is decent#this concert is lorna shore (has a couple songs i Really like) whitechapel (heard of but never listened to) kublai khan tx (maybe heard of?)#and sanguisugabogg who im Trying to get into bc of a friend but ehhhh idk yet. cool band name tho. would love 2 know how 2 say it.#u know what tho as much as i bitch and complain...... at least im not a pop fan#i may dislike taylor swift but i do feel 4 the ppl trying 2 buy HER concert tix i mean good fucking lord#i guess my version of that is bruce springsteen who is playing here in november and whose GA tix are..... $1200 (*cries*)#(*resale price of course)
