They just sit there, watching in amusement at how many got unlucky and either had to spend even more money, go back to grinding for any primo possible or just gave up. It was such fun! Did they really thing they would make it easy for them? Hah… no. If the travelers want them then they have to work to deserve them. After all they’re just far too amazing to be so easy to get!

As they continue to sit and watch in pleasure one traveler caught their gaze. They seemed to have also went to high pity only to lose to an standard character and now they were left with only one pull and no pity. How pitiful! They watch as the traveler stares at the banner, their last pull in their hands, slowly reaching out to use their last wish only to stop mid way. Their eyebrow raises as they watch in curiosity as the traveler turns around and hurry’s away instead.

An small, “Hm?”, leaves their mouth as they see the same traveler return, looking determined and this time with you. The traveler pushes their last wish into your hands and closes their eyes as if making an silent prayer to whatever gacha god out there to make this nearly impossible thing possible. Your gaze lingers at the traveler before it moves to the banner, with an small shrug you use the last wish, not expecting much.

Their lips tug into a big grin as they watch you. Well… it’d be quite a miss if they didn’t come to you. Just what would you do without them? Tsk, unimaginable. So you and traveler watch as the wish turns slowly gold and they smugly come with the last pull. Almost eagerly they let themself fall onto you as the traveler watches in shock, not believing their luck. “Hello, dear. What a lovely surprise, no?”, they say proudly as they stare at you with an slightly egoistic look.

everything post-Endwalker hinges on the idea that even after saving the world and being released from their duty as Warrior of Light the WoL will seek adventure for it's own sake. They're still doing the same things they always do but this time purely because they want to.

And I don't think that change would have been possible without Zenos.

The final confrontation with him at the end of Endwalker, his questions spurring the WoL to think about why they do what they do, or the duel that serves to show them how fun it can be to fight without the weight of the world on your back. It's crazy to think that for all of the harm he caused the positive consequence of Zenos's actions was inspiring his friend to live freely.
