My second Princess is a redraw of a HOTD inspired look based on @notyour-valentine 's lovely Princess! Whom I miss very much!

Mostly inspired by this passage -

"Rhaenyra always dressed richly, favoring purple and maroon velvets and golden Myrish lace in intricate patterns. Her bodice often glittered with pearls and diamonds, and there were always rings on her fingers."

Got two au doodles in this post! First is the Beetlejuice au which I briefly talked about in a previous post, Adam takes Beetlejuice's spot while Charlie and Vaggie take Adam and Barbara's, and they're haunting Lute who's living on her own and struggling to support herself.

The Second AU is if Eve and Adam were both co-leaders of the Exorcists. This one has continuity with my GOES series. I won't say too much about this one just yet because there's still a few things I want to post in GOES so that it would A. Make sense and B. Not be spoilers. 😃

But I figured posting Eve's Exorcist design wouldn't hurt. 👌 (Still thinking of what to call the au at the moment.) I'll make a little character sheet at some point of her design but for now here's these!

I plan on posting way more about these two aus after I finish GOES, but until then I'll post a few things of them here and there. 😎

The new art of kuroo and bokuto going around inspired me to go back and read and then there were two, I was wondering if it would be okay to ask some questions? Feel free to ignore.

The bond between the manager and jackals seem sweet but I was curious if their intentions were innocent or if they were the same as kuroo but the manager was too trusting to see it? Especially in the case of atsumu.

I was also curious if kuroo kidnaps the reader in the end and what the possible fallout would be. atsumu know kuroo was the last person with the manager.

Either way thank you for your time and all of your awesome stories! I am always excited to see you on my dash.

I would say that as a whole, the jackals are… somewhat possessive/protective over their manager. Whether that translates into something more is I guess up to how you wanna read it.

Of all of them, Atsumu’s at the very least a little in love with her. Again, I probably wouldn’t say that straight out of the gate he’s a yandere, however

I do have a soft spot for characters that could’ve been almost normal, could’ve had that regular sort of a romance/relationship, if only x hadn’t happened. Threaten atsumu with a reader who suddenly pulls away, starts slipping through his fingers like sand, and there’s no way his immediate response isn’t to grip on tighter and yank.

As far as kuroo goes, kidnapping in this case isn’t the best option. Too many people saw him with the reader, he’s far from his home base, logistically it’d be a nightmare. Also he just doesn’t have to. He might have direct control over her job, but with his position, he has enough sway to be able to pull a few strings and have her… reassigned. A new team? Somewhere closer to home?

Demoted? There have been whispers that her relationship with certain members of the jackals borders on… inappropriate. Hm.

I really just wanted to draw Enojadita next to her mom. The only reason Enna would go near Dulzura would be because she had to for the “family photo”

Huili is trembling by the time she reaches the gaping hole in the earth, painfully gasping for breath from the way she has been running for so long. The only breaks she had from running were spent fighting, trying to protect other disciples from demons.

Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu are there too, and she stumbles towards them.

Shen Qingqiu looks pained, glancing between Luo Binghe, the Abyss, and a point somewhere to the left of Luo Binghe, probably his system.

“Luo-shidi,” Huili gasps out once she’s close enough, and Luo Binghe startles, although he’s still quick to support her. His demon mark is plainly visible on his forehead, and she winces. That’s not good.

“We’re gonna need to jump,” she says, after catching her breath. “If other cultivators see us- especially you- they’re gonna kill us.”

“What- what do you mean, shijie?” Luo Binghe seems confused, glancing between her and Shen Qingqiu. “Shizun?”

Huili makes eye contact with Shen Qingqiu, who’s… Shaking? Well. That. Makes sense, she supposes. “If they see a half demon, Luo-shidi, right after this attack… They’ll immediately kill you. And me. And Shen-shishu’s reputation, as well as that of Cang Qiong mountain, will be dragged through the mud.”

Luo Binghe helplessly looks at Shen Qingqiu, who slowly nods. “Yue-shizhi is right, Binghe.”

“Obviously. Our best chance now is jumping. The Abyss will probably be… Awful, but we’re both half demon. We’ll be able to survive. Find a way to come back.”

“Jumping is your only chance,” Shen Qingqiu corrects her with a pained look. “I can already sense Liu-shidi coming this way.”

“And as much as I like hanging around Liu-shishu, he definitely won’t tolerate someone who’s obviously half demon.” Huili searches through her sleeves for the letter she had written, handing it to Shen Qingqiu. “It’s for a-die.”

After that she walks to the edge, looking down and immediately regretting it. How did Luo Binghe even survive this fall? It’s way too high.

Behind her Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu exchange some last words, but she doesn’t focus on them. She’s gonna have to jump down there. Be stuck for like 5 years. Maybe die.

When Luo Binghe moves to stand beside her, she reaches out to squeeze his hand, pushing those thoughts away and locking them in a box before sweeping them under a carpet, never to be seen again.

She turns her head to look at Shen Qingqiu again, giving him a wry smile. “Leaps of faith seem much more fun in a game like Assassin’s Creed,” she tells him in English before letting go of Luo Binghe’s hand and jumping.

Wind rushes past her ears and she tightly closes her eyes, praying to Whatever Being is willing to listen that she lands safely.

His eyes finally leave the table and his plate, slowly rising until they meet Rizurol's, and relief fills him as he notices the way xe seems to be just as wary as him. As if feeling his gaze, xyr eyes move from Azriel, still standing at the head of the table with a grin, to him, and worry fills them. A few seconds later, a cold hand placed on his startles him out of the unintentional staring match, and he looks to the side to see Hael looking up at him, a frown on her face.

"Which could be a good thing," Alice notes as she stands up to grab some water, "but it could also be a bad thing.

Mian stares at the dragon from behind Rizurol as it opens its mouth to breathe fire, tightly holding onto the hand xe had offered him when it showed up, despite the static surrounding xem.

Wind (Kyomi in Genshin AU)

A quick burst of anemo and they’re blown away, Kyomi standing between Venti and them with a growl, baring his teeth. As he takes a step towards them, though, icy wind blows around him, blowing Paimon away encased in ice and chilling him to the bone.

Grass (Devil’s Gift)

“Oh! Akio-kun, Kyomi-chan!” Matsushita-san is standing in the garden (! A proper one with flowers and grass and everything!), waving at them.

Their voices aren't quite audible through the ringing in his ears, but it doesn't matter. All that matters is keeping the flames up and keeping her away from Venti. She will not hurt him. Kyomi won't let her. 

Pause (Brothers from other Mothers)

"After you finish eating breakfast, you should have enough time to say bye to your siblings." Kane briefly pauses in his cooking to look at Mian, probably to make sure he's listening. "I'll stick around to make sure you get to your horse in time. Do you have your weapons and armor in the usual places?" At Mian's nod, Rizurol grabs another apple, this time for xemself, and leaves. "Seems like xe'll be getting those ready."

Scatter (Kyomi in Genshin AU) (I actually had to grab my notepad app for this one)

When the onslaught stops, she opens [her eyes] again, scattered ice surrounding her. She snorts when she sees just how Signora came out of the ice cocoon. It quickly devolves into (poorly muffled) laughter as she sinks down into a crouch, shaking her head. Oh, this is just amazing, isn’t it?

Cup (Brothers from other Mothers)

"... But..." She first gestures at the cup in front of her, filled with blood, and then at Mian's, filled with water. The way it has been for the past 11 years. "You... How do you know you'll be strong enough? I don't want to lose you..." Her voice is weak, barely even a whisper, and he has to strain to hear it.

Fit (Second Chance At Life)

He follows his mother to the kitchen, fidgeting with the too long and too thin sleeves of his shirt. It’s all just like he remembers. The cracks in the walls, the bumps in the floor, the doors that don’t entirely fit in their place… Nothing about it has changed. It’s nostalgic and painful.

Stone (Genshin AU)

A few seconds later the white flames disappear too, all the power leaving Kyomi's body at once. The ringing gets louder as a coughing fit rattles his body, blood splattering on the stones in front of him. 

Stupid (Heir of Magic)

"And so you decided to summon a demon. Not even just a regular demon, but the king of them. And for what? What has you so stupid? So willing to sell your soul? So willing to die? Revenge?" His voice is desperate as he reaches his hand out to her, only to have it stopped at the edge of the circle.

Smart (Brothers from other Mothers)

"I-I'm sure Mian will be j-just fine." Ayen pipes up, although he's still looking at his basically full plate. "He's st-trong and smart." He pushes some of his food around with a fork. "He'll b-be fine." It almost sounds like he's trying to convince himself rather than anyone else.

Silly (And Then There Were Two AU)

Zhuzhi-Lang tugs on her hair in warning as Binghe grabs her hand, slitted eyes glaring at her through the mirror. “Ouch, ZhiZhi, no need to be that rude.” She sticks her tongue out at him, trying to hold back a silly grin. “Anyway, it’s not like he didn’t give me a choice. But this alliance is important.” Not that she cares much about that. She didn’t really grow up here.

Sound (A Modern Wonderland)

After that, neither of them speaks again as they move as one, trying to find out just why it's so silent. Usually, if there's magic involved, there's some noise, but now... Even the animals don't dare utter a sound. It stays that way until they run into the others again - unfortunately a little too literally in Rabbit and Cheshire’s case, as Rabbit didn't see Cheshire through his camouflage, and Cheshire wasn't looking in his direction.

I think we as a society should bring back brotps. I think we should be weirder about characters being friends the same way people are weird about ships. Make those two characters who interacted once or twice besties. Make it difficult for them to get rid of each other even if they want to. Go nuts
