Usually I’m a sucker for the villains who are evil mostly for the sake of being evil or aggressive monster types but he’s like… morally gray complex? My (personal opinion) least favorite thing about supposedly morally grey characters is when they’re basically just evil except they go “oh but my backstory,” >:/ But here you can see why, there’s a lot of injustices towards omnics in the overwatch universe and you can see why he’s fighting so hard to make a change, even through any means necessary.

I’ve only started playing recently and every time I play as him I just find every little thing he does attractive orz the way he moves is so determined and confident, the way his hand strains when he’s shooting his primary fire/raising his shield… his scarf makes him look so majestic when he runs… his hair, gives him this effect that makes him look elegant? I want to tie his hair back for him huhuguhghuh

And oh my god don’t get me started on his nemesis form I’m dead 💀 He turns into this huge beast of a robot with big arms?? And his voice gets an extra.. filter to it that makes him sound scarier and growlier? I used to not like how his original arms were still visible, but now it’s yet another thing why I love him uhghehgfg he looks so confident with his arms crossed while he’s pummeling his enemies into submission and his cable hair flowing in the wind liks swoosh… and things get ramped up when he’s doing his annihilation ultimate, he can just run into the enemy team and suck their life force(?) Also this is a meta reason but I think it’s hot when he ults and the team scatters away from him 😳

and ough HIS VOICE AUGH HIS VOICE!! He always sounds so controlled and collected, and when he’s in nemesis form it’s like his restrained rage gets unleashed, phew… ngl I’ve been rewatching “Ramattra Voice Line” videos so much jkdshfnejf I love all versions of his ult line, whether its “SUFFER, AS I HAVE!” or “Rip them to pieces,”, or even the april fools line bc I just think he’s silly and dramatic in that one 🥺

I also watch a lot of his interactions, because despite his (understandable) hatred for humans, he’s respectful and polite to a lot of the other overwatch heroes. I imagine it’d be easy to write him as someone who dislikes all humans, but he shows appreciation to humans he thinks are kind and helpful to omnics, even if they might not like him. Even to humans he isn’t a fan of his conversations are still polite and reserved, or at the very least, he’s passive aggressive- but he never gets into a “grr I hate all of you” thing that Reaper has (lol)

His conversation with Venture especially makes me soft… he sounds encouraging to a human who wants to go to the Shambali monastery.

And of course his interactions with Bastion and Zenyatta are soft and gentle because omnics and knowing Zenyatta from the monastery.

I just- what if I’m his favorite person? What if I’m his exception to his hatred for humans? What if he was contrasted by a soft human? What if he says “Only you,” to his human? As a human they’re pretty chill but is also chaotic as fuck when in Candy Trio (consists of Kevin, Radford, and Alice). She’s also really good either with children and responsible with them. They also aren’t immune to being pure chaos at times.

As an (honorary) demon (and also whatever tf they are): If you piss them off, GOOD LUCK. She will be so passive aggressive and will bring chaos. This mainly happens to the cult because Alice hates them. They also have a “Berserk” form (Radford named it) that happens when she gets SUPER pissed (ex: it first happened when Kevin gets kidnapped for the second time by the cult and almost killed) and they get a couple more abilities like: voice goes all funky (this, starting when the person singing as Scylla goes “hello” but ESPECIALLY when the same person goes “Drown in your sorrow and fears”), eyes go fully blue, they get claws, she gets horns, they get digigrade-ish legs, and she can walk on all fours (but doesn’t because it feels kind of awkward. They will do that if they’re about to pounce tho). She also faints / falls asleep a couple minutes afterwards

Moving on, I just left school to go to my favourite spot it was one of the old buildings right outside of jasper. Intact enough to shield against wind and rain and far enough to not be bothered by anyone. Peddling there took about 30 minutes.

 That’s what I have tattooed on my arm. The first words my soulmate, the person that will understands me like no one, and was chosen to be with me til death do us part, will say to me are a command followed by an insult. Oh, how lovely, I can not wait to meet them. Note the sarcasm. I tend to cover up the tattoo because the looks of pity I get are just so not worth it. All I want is peace, quiet and for people to stop being annoying.

 “Here’s a message for your leader, dear old bucket head. Tell him his favourite Wrecker is back.”

“Wheeljack, would you calm down we are supposed to be in Disguise. And a human settlement is just around the corner.”

“Aww calm down sunshine, ain’t no way there are any squishy’s around.”

“I told you to stop calling me that.”

 As the two still standing robots argued the grey one noticed started to move. Due to the way his head laid as he opened his eyes his gaze immediately landed on me and after a second of realizing what he saw he started to smirk and made to grab me. Noticing the movement of the grey robot the two still standing ones followed his claws and me.

 “Scrap.”

“Move you idiotic crapheaded human.”

 I didn’t need to be told twice. I did a 180 turned around and ran. But apparently not fast enough as I was grabbed by grey, sharp, and very long claw like fingers. The ground now several feet beneath me.

 “Let the squishy go, screamer, or I do more than just scrap you.”

“Oh no I don’t think so, Wheeljack, for as long as I have the human neither of you would dare to hurt me. You Autobots turn so helpless the moment these organics are involved. Such a shame.”

“Let me go you overgrown, sorry excuse, for a sentient tuna can.”

“Silent you, insolent scum.”

 Me mouthing off to tall and scary was just enough distraction so that the robot, apparently named Wheeljack, could sneak up to the one holding me captive. And without hesitation or holding back punched, the one they referred to as screamer. Yelling in pain, screamer let me go and having nothing holding me anymore, I fell, direction downwards. Man, I hate gravity. But before I would have met my unfortunate end. I was caught in the hands of the other robot, which Wheeljack called sunshine. Sunshine moved me away from who they called, screamer.

Screamer held his hand to his head where he had got punched, a few steps away from his assaulter. Wheeljack worked kind of as a shield standing between, me still in sunshine’s hand and screamer holding his head. Looking up he realized he had not only lost his advantage but was also outnumbered he scrambled back and transformed into a jet. What the actual hell.

 “Augh, you Autobots. Course you all to the pits. I will have my revenge, just you wait.”

“Well, that takes care of at least one problem, for now.”

“The human saw us. We are going to have to inform Optimus and bring them along.”

“Ah come on doc, the little squishy got spunk, just like Miko they would make a great wrecker.”

“That’s what I fear.”

 While Wheeljack and doc argued, the adrenaline started to leave my system and recounting what just happened, I realized several things.

 Firstly, the last thought I had before I nearly died, was of me hating gravity. Which is probably not normal. Secondly gigantic robots that seem very much sentient exist. I was just held hostage by one and am currently sitting in the hand of another one. And lastly the hand in which I am sitting on, belongs to the robot that said to me the one sentence I despised my entire life, but still wanted to hear, the phrase I had to covered up as to not get pitiful glances or hear whispers behind my back.

Realizing doc used that wording meant he was my soulmate. A gigantic sentient robot was my soulmate. Fuck.

 “Eh, doc I think the human broke.”

“What are you talking ab…? Uh, hey human. Are you ok?”

 The next thing I knew pure fury overtook me as I thought about all the humiliation, I had to go through because of my soul mark.

 “DO YOU KNOW HOW BLOODY FUCKING HUMILIATING IT IS TO RUN AROUND WITH A SOULMARK INSULTING YOU, FROM THE PERSON THAT YOUR MEANT TO BE FOR? YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING BLOODYLY KIDDING ME, YOU COULDN’T HAVE SAID ANYTHING BLOODY ELSE, DID IT REALLY HAVE TO BE AN INSULT? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.”

 It was dead silent after my rant, and both robots looked on me with shocked looks on their faces. You could hear a pin drop. That was until Wheeljack began to snort, which then turned into a full-on laugh. And that managed to shake doc out of his demeanour.

 “Oh, you complain, imagine having that half essay on your body. In caps, might I add. So, I…, Wheeljack would you stop laughing it’s not funny.”

“Hehehhe, sorry, it’s just, buaghhahah, you met your soulmate and you both just insult each other it’s gold.”

“Ugh, so you are my soulmate. Primus give me strength.”

“Hey, I didn’t choose to have an sentient ambulance as a soulmate, either doc.”

Like, we KNOW not to let others opinions affect us, but geez, we've only ever seen like..TWO positive reactions towards them (yours included.) We like them and are easy and fun to collect. Also, we're like…the worst Funko Pop collector, as in, we take them out of package and throw it away. Yes, we take figures….out of the box! The horror!/sarc But seriously, people really need to stop shitting on what others enjoy collecting. So what if one of the types of figures we like to collect are the ones with the black circles for eyes, as least we're having fun and enjoying ourselves, what are they doing? im not sure theres really one thing, since the aerialbots as a whole were a real "love at first sight" deal for me lmao. but i suppose it was when he got the others to all walk off from the autobots in the key to vector sigma. something about all that build up over these characters that are supposed to be like, The Ideal Autobots, that alpha trion gave up his life to create, only to have this one shitty kid decide that actually the autobots suck and he could do it waaaay better? i love it

many Many things in an attempt to prove himself. the worst was when combination of personal grudge and overconfidence had him trying to fight megatron one and one and he got his shit wrecked like, immediately. literally had to be scraped off the floor. he didnt really learn anything from the experience.

theres at least one canon where hes into nebulan rock operas and i love to take that and expand it to make slingshot a total musical guy in general. he gets really snobby about them. he got into cybertronian shows via a couple recordings blaster had saved but (and this is what hes Really embarrassed about) theres a few human shows hes grown attached to as well. theyre just a lot more accessible than long-forgotten cybertronian musicals!!

augh this is hard!! hes just totally one of those guys that can count how many times hes cried on one hand! fighting, like REALLY fighting with silverbolt is sure to do it, though. they bicker a lot, because thats just how aerialbots are, but serious arguing that lasts for days will leave slingshot stewing in his insecurities until something eventually snaps.

This Zaffre is genuinely so wonderful, new desk top background moments. I love her gesture and expression here, it really captures her as a character! Also the way you draw hands, augh, just augh I wish.

Also thank you! I really love doing in depth research, its the autism at work. I am a proud vehicle autistic. I've said it before but working on a ship for a summer just to know the mechanics of how actual sailing works is probably the most unhinged thing I can say I've done for accuracy sake. Loved my Captain and fellow crew, very sad I got sick and had to leave. Honestly would love to be a sailor if my heath wasn't bungled up and I wasn't like $200k of debt in animation college.

My humanoid vehicle AU's are partially based on my sadly never going to be picked up pitch bible for a science fiction based historical vehicle show [my fatal flaw is niche interests] And it literally makes my day to sit down and work on the most expansive and historically researched BS on earth, my AU is both a lovely love letter to TUGS as the show it is and a Love Letter to what TUGS wanted to be! At the end of the day TUGS wanted to be it's days Steven Universe or MASH [something I am gonna elaborate in another format later] but unfortunately it just didn't have the right ingredients. Its the Same as the TUGS musical I'm working on, it's a love letter to what TUGS both is and was supposed to be along with being a love letter to the characters themselves

you're brought up and raised under a false assumption that you're a genius, the kind who appears only once in 100 years. you're, essentially , coerced into a shady surgery leaving you in (implied) constant pain and permanently stuck with a body that's inaccurate to your mind. and you do it out of devotion because you were a child who'd been thrown away once and by fucking god you need someone, something to latch onto. so of course you'll do anything for the source of that feeling of having your life mean something. having your efforts acknowledged, and being needed. but of course, it's a lie. always was. it falls apart in front of you. should you not be useful, you'll be thrown away. and of course, that breaks you. because well, you kind of always knew that. and you're left to die, in extreme pain, alone. and then you're dead, you've lost everything, and you're forced to simmer on it in a quiet, silent hell where your sole company is unfeeling demons. and you stay in the loop, eternally, re-experiencing your death over, and over, and over.

and like, the quiet, passive hatred charlotte is written with when in the context of all of it is sooo... augh, especially with her parallel to the loud, aggressive lime. charlotte's hatred for humans is distant and nihilistic- people use each other as tools, they deceive each other, attachment is pointless because it's going to be fake anyway. everyone takes the shortest route to benefiting, regardless of who has to be used. her lines about how "kindness and forgiveness allows for evil". her repeated insistence on just killing the other three to noel. you cant trust others. you should just hate everyone, its easier. its why she, at the end, doesn't understand "love" either. because to her, it's always been deception, and something others will take advantage of, so whats the point?

and it's why she bets on ashe - he affirms everything for her. both are people who's extreme devotion to their family caused them to do anything for them, by any means necessary - to harm, to use, anything. i think, to an extent, she can see herself in him. and i think she sees herself in noel too - her hint of sympathy in the hourglass scene, urging him to just give up because it'll end poorly, like it did for her (even if in a different way).

and like, throughout the game, charlotte has this sort of snide detachment from basically everyone. constantly talks about how other people annoy her and how she wants to see as much suffering as possible. but whats always been apparent to me about her is this back and forth she has of very, very slight affection for others before immediately burying it and deciding she "doesnt care". we see it with fiona in the 4th side story in the base game, we see it with noel in the hourglass scene, we see it with claire in the bonus stage, we see it with lime constantly, especially with how she broke down after losing her (if im remembering right anyway, still gotta finish my replay of the sirius conclusion). like, she always immediately covers it up - when in presence of the other demons she claims its part of her scheme, and when not she simply acts like she doesnt actually care. but it's so constant with her that to me it has to be on purpose, and im really, really curious where it goes in future conclusions

anyway i might be wrong about everything and reading her totally wrong, but shes a character i love a lot and ive been thinking about for too long for my own good. i'll come back to this when i finish my replay of sirius's conclusion and can suffer for hours over That One Scene, lol

-Venti's first experience with age regression was rather odd, in that he didn't KNOW what age regression was- nor did he know how to partake in "acting like a child" until he was forced into his headspace during a rainy night at Angel's Share - it started to thunder, and Venti just...dropped like a penny. Luckily, Diluc was a saviour and brought him upstairs to calm him down.

-headspace is around 0-3 years old.

-Due to past injuries from around the Archon War, he needs to be padded 24/7, and will usually gravitate to pull-ups, and will use diapers when regressed!

-He's just an actual baby. He'll either crawl around, or whine and tug at his caregiver until he's scooped up.

-He's just a TOTAL mama's boy, especially for Adelinde! If Diluc's not around/busy, Venti will "help" around Adelinde.

-Adelinde knows that he's the Anemo Archon, as well as his identity being the first thing told to any new caregivers/babysitters, so nightmares and thunderstorms are usually pretty understood.

-Despite hating thunder, he LOVES the rain, and will practically beg his current caregiver to go and splash about. He understands if they say no, however.

-He just...needs to be held. He loves it when a caregiver will boop his nose, or feed him, or care for him if he falls ill- it makes him feel like an actual infant, and therefore more regressed.

-As mentioned before, nightmares are VERY common. He has a few stuffies to help, though! An otter, dubbed "wisp" which was gifted to him from the traveller (who, yes, knows about his headspace- and was the first person he told that wasn't Diluc) as well as a bird stuffie, named "Himmel" and a cat stuffie called "Katze".

-A sucker for apples- even more so when he's little. He'll request them to be cut into cute little shapes, and served with a small container of applesauce to dip into (which he always gets). Despite his love for apples, he despises applejuice, and despite his hate for cheese, loves warm milk.

-An easy way to help him regress is getting him all cozy into (insert cg) arms and just baby him. phrases like "augh, you're just too tiny tonight" and "who's this little baby?" will usually do the trick.

-Despite him literally being the god of Anemo, he'll give his CG his vision, despite it being a fake, as it helps him feel a bit tinier- as well as his bow, and lyre.

-Pacifiers over teethers. The idea of a teether sounds nice, but he didn't really like it, and pacifiers help him feel way more infant-like.

-Can solve puzzles for HOURS.

-Will usually draw pictures of him and his cg, and he's always happy to see them on the fridge.

There’s a sander sides fic i wrote like 8 years ago that had all of the sides get slowly and very brutally murdered one by one in hella graphic detail. I was trying to experiment with descriptors and visuals at that time. Definitely that one. I don’t think it’s on ao3 but it’s somewhere on my old Wattpad account

7.) what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Definitely Falling In Love (In The Most Literal Sense) or an unpublished eldritch smut horror DeadOnMain fic that’s forever staying in WIP hell. Falling In Love first and foremost has an ending, secondly they get along and it’s cute :)

Not really. I occasionally get questions or criticism on my tumblr but that’s either advice or someone wanting answers and that isn’t hate.

9.) Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I have tried my hand at smut before. Mostly smutty scenes with kinda sorta fade to black, solely because I’m terrible at painting a mental picture for the reader so it always flows terribly. I’ve written that eldritch DeadOnMain thing as I said previously, and some of Jason’s matches Malone persona OF ideas.

10.) do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one?

Somewhere in my WIPs there is a homestuck AU DPxDC fic where DP kids are the humans and DC folks (primarily the teen titans) are the trolls. Definitely that one.

No fics but I’ve been sent asks that are word for word one of my prompts. I just delete those and go on with my day. Idk I don’t have a tiktok and someone’s probably imitating me on there with my prompts so possibly????

Ooooo It’s a solid tie between Kon/Tim and Dave/Karkat. One is my current favorite and the other is one that’s been my favorite ship for the longest time.

15.) what’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

I have a WIP in my files that’s a DPxDC Dash/Danny fic where Dash is a bomb disposal tech and Danny just moved into Gotham. I have the entire outline written and almost a solid chapter done but I heavily doubt I’ll have the motivation to touch it again.

16.) what are your writing strengths?

I don’t think I have any, (I haven’t written a full length fic in so long I can’t really tell 😅) but I’m very good at setting tone. Idk what do y’all think?

17.) writing weaknesses?

Dialogue. 100% dialogue. It always feels clunky and unconversational whenever I read it back. I swear the second I start writing talking I forget how conversations work.

18.) thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I’d probably throw a simple word here in there of the other language if I’m writing a bilingual speaker or ask a pal to help me with translations because I only know English and I know damn well that friends are better translators than google.

19.) first fandom you wrote for?

Sander Sides! I wrote a solid 500ish prompts for that fandom and like 70k worth of fics. It was what got me into writing and for that I’m so very glad.

20.) Fav fic you’ve ever written?

Definitely my Batman mermaid au. I love it to bits and I’m so proud of the designs and I’m always kinda sad that I’m the only one as enthused about this work as I am. None the less I reread it at least every 3 months and it always makes me smile doing so.
