TROPES
ft. jing yuan, dan heng, blade x gn!reader
Tumblr media
JING YUAN - reincarnation
They say the Arbiter General of the Luofu only takes a lover every few decades, each one doomed to end in the tragedy that befalls that of a love between a short-life species and a long-life one. It’s widely speculated why the famed general chooses to continue taking short-life species for lovers, knowing the ending that would come about such a union. Jing Yuan cares not for idle gossip, save for the fact that people spread misinformation about him taking multiple lovers, but he can hardly tell everyone that he has only had one lover throughout his centuries of life. It’s just that you always happen to die far too soon for his liking. He fears sometimes, during those first few years after your death, that you’ll never come back, that one day he’ll wake up and realize that hundreds of years have passed without you. But you never fail to appear decades later with a smile on your lips and an apology on your tongue, soothing years’ worth of worries with a few measly words. Sorry, Yuan, I’ll be sure to live longer this time.
DAN HENG - soulmates
The Imbibitor Lunae was not only tasked to bear the responsibility of being the High Elder of the Vidyadhara, he was also destined for a love that spanned beyond lifetimes. Dan Heng knows of the story between the previous incarnations of you and the Imbibitor Lunae. Reincarnating at the same time, falling in love, and repeating it all over again in a never ending cycle that Dan Heng had been sure to end—that was, until he met you. Jing Yuan told him of your decision to forcefully reincarnate as well after Dan Feng’s crime, so it stands to reason that you shouldn’t feel anything for Dan Heng at all, what with this incarnation of yours having never met him in this lifetime. And yet, you keep looking at him with such softness, something like nostalgia in the tone of your voice as you spoke with him, that he can’t help but feel as though he, like his previous incarnations before him, can do nothing but fall into that never-ending cycle of love and being loved.
BLADE/YINGXING - time travel
Yingxing thinks you’re strange. Not in a bad way, of course, only that your mannerisms and way of conduct when it comes to him and his companions is odd. He’s caught you almost calling Dan Feng the wrong name, Dan He-something. You keep demanding Jing Yuan to spar with you for what you dubbed was a ‘rematch’, though Yingxing has no recollection of any instances of you and Jing Yuan fighting before. But it all pales in comparison to the way you act with him. You’re overly familiar, smiling and talking to him as though you’ve known him for years instead of a single month after he discovered you wounded on an alley with a broken blade. He still remembers the look of relief on your face when he crouched in front of you in concern. Blade, Kafka’s gonna kill me, this is the fiftieth sword I broke this month, was all you said before passing out. Despite the oddity of your first meeting, he found himself getting close to you, drawn in by your smile and your laugh and the tender way you looked at him. He imagined spending what remained of his life with you, but you disappeared a day before he was supposed to confess his feelings. It isn’t until many years later, when Elio is introducing the newest member of the Stellaron Hunters, that Blade connects the dots amidst his fractured memory. And it isn’t until another few years that you confirm his suspicions. Blade, you won’t believe what I just went through—or rather, when!

Hiii! Love your blog dude! I got a question! Or a request?? How would wukong and redson feel about thier past lover was reincarnated? How would they react?
The Cycle Continues (Wukong and Red Son x Reincarnated!Reader) Headcanons
Wukong:
Wukong is old, you don't need to remind him
He's seen his friend die, come back, and he's been tired of seeing random faces become more familiar as the cycle repeats and repeats
When he meets you, he found you to be charming and fairly cute
He fell for you hard, to say the least, and just like most deaths, yours was hard on him
He didn't expect to see your face again for another few thousand years, but no, in just centuries (a snap to the old monkey), there you were, in a new yet familiar face
Wukong nearly leapt at you with excitement, but he knew better
His old friends didn't remember him, he didn't expect you to as well
If you did? That's another story all together
If you remembered Wukong and called his name, oh, he'd be in love all over again
He'd ask about your new life and the people you've grown with
He'd also ask if he could be a part of yours again
If you don't remember, the sting burns a little, but he understands
He'll try to approach you, maybe chicken out, but he'll eventually say hi again, happy to hear your voice and the journeys you must've been on
Red Son:
When you met Red Son, he was a young adult in his demon years, fresh and full of anger towards a certain monkey
The Demon Bull Clan even without its king was strong and mighty, and Red Son made sure his subjects were obedient and loyal
You happened to be one of them, but unlike most, you and Red Son were close.
In secret, you two had been dating (it wasn't really a secret, but Iron Fan knew the important of letting your children be independent and allowing them to you when they needed), and both of you were quite passionate
Red Son depended on you when he would often feel inadequate for not being able to free his father quickly, and you were able to count on him to protect you when rival clans got too close
Your death was a dark stain in Red Son's past, like a glimmer that could never be captured again
As much as Iron Fan could provide her support, the mourning process still ate away at the flame prince
Centuries later, Red Son's father had returned, and a missing piece of him returned, but you were still gone
Of course, chance had it that he found you while shopping for ingredients
Unlike Wukong, Red Son wasn't old enough nor wise enough to notice how mortals reincarnated, so when he saw you, he was asking questions left and right
Those questions would only increase if you remembered him
If not, Red Son would be quite flustered at his behavior and apologize greatly before going to his parents for advice
In either scenario, you can count on him returning to you and quickly asking you on a date to get to know your new life better
There's a lot of missing time between the two of you, and Red Son is quite eager to make up for it

Ignoring the fact I should be working on priest Sukuna but just hear me out cause reincarnated lover is heavy on the brain rn
How about she's his love from the Heian era but there's something about him being a curse that saps the life out of her. Their love itself is a curse.
She's immediately reincarnated, and they'll find each other again eventually (because they always do, it's only a matter of time), only for his presence in her life to do it all over again. The younger he finds her the less time her body can handle it, and she's dead within months.
If he's lucky enough to find her a little later she can hold out for a bit longer, but she's never lived past a year before she dies. He's watched her die so many times, and every time he dies a little too.
So imagine his horror when he's taking up space in his vessel and there's that familiar voice- accompanied by her. And he's conflicted because he thought maybe she'd finally be free after all this time. But here she is, found her way back to him, and it's only a matter of time before the cycle repeats itself again.
Anyways if this seems interesting I could make it like a lil series or something

How are you transforming? 🌌
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 1 Pile 2 Pile 3
It's been a while since I made a pac reading. Personal life is keeping me busy and I had no energy for readings.
This PAC is going to focus on a transformation process that is going on at the moment, and providing some clarity about where things are headed, as well as an advice.
Deck used: Magic The Gathering Oracle deck.
Tumblr media
Pile I
Hi there pile I and welcome to your reading ✨️🤍
The cards I got for you are: Inspiration, The Warrior, and Toxic Thoughts.
Bottom deck energy: Distraction.
You seem to be caught in a specific situation(it can be different for everyone) and try to find something to get you out of it, but in your search, you are met with obstacles, obstacles created by you. What you are trying to accomplish lacks initiative and focus. Your mind is distracted and caught in multiple scenarios.
Your negative thoughts are distracting you from what needs to be done, but now you have a hold of them. Do not let fears and stories your mind tells you keep you back from reaching your full potential.
Thank you for reading🤍✨️
Pile II
Hi there pile II and welcome to your reading ✨️
The cards I got for you are: Desire rx, Magic of The Mind and Transformation. Extra card: The unconscious.
Bottom deck energy: Resourcefulness
You seem to be stuck on not wanting to accept a change that seemed to have happened or accept that there are other ways.
At a subconscious level, your mind has already accepted this change, but consciously you are still avoiding anything related to it and trying to find excuses to remain in the same old place. This could represent a big and meaningful change that might be scary, or you aren't able to understand it properly. You possess all the knowledge to navigate through this change. Let go of limitations and embrace the new little by little.
Thank you for reading🤍✨️
Pile III
Hi there pile 3 and welcome to your reading ✨️
The cards I got for you are: Reincarnation rx, Inspiration, and Focus. Extra card: Breaking free.
Bottom deck energy: Unlocking Power.
You might have been living in a way where you found yourself repeating the past scenario over and over again. Past behaviours can keep us stuck in a rut if not addressed consciously. They might have served us well in the past but we all have to grow and overcome certain things.
You might be feeling like it's to complicated to break free. You don't know how to adapt to something new, since this past cycle is all you've known.
You need to find your focus. The challenge will not seem this scary if you break it down first. You can try to write in a journal, listen to music or watch a movie. By calming your mind, you can take this step by step, so the passing to a different life is made easier. You are more powerful than you think you are!
Thank you for reading🤍✨️

lines and circles
where lilia falls for a human who is reborn again and again, each life a new life lilia witnesses on the sidelines.his life is like a line. yours is like a circle.
~lilia vanrouge x reincarnating!gender neutral reader~
does this remotely make any sense? no idea. will i still post it because the me months ago wrote this at 2am thinking she was cooking? yes, i will
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
if lilia were to describe it in simpler terms like he would when explaining something to silver during his younger years...
he'd describe it as if you were a circle and he were a line drawn on the same aging paper. next to each other, yet never touching. together, yet never intersecting.
your circle would loop on and on, starting over at each loop. endless and sure. perfect and for all time. there was no start nor end to your existence, yet still the little world of the aging paper refuses to let you reach the line drawn beside you.
lilia's line.
now, lilia's line—although also endless like your circle—continues on in the same path he's been assigned by whoever oversaw the world you both split but never shared. unlike you, his line is not in a loop. his line travels infinitely and retains everything he sees. he passes your circle, watching you start over, and over, and over, and over again until even he feels much too empty seeing you repeat the same life in a reoccurring path... never-changing, and never-ending.
he supposes that was the most devastating thing about your life as a human. it was your destiny to start and end life in an endless loop like a circle with no ending but its distance still going nowhere. you could walk along that same spherical path, but you still would never reach the end. the end to your cycle of life and death.
you live, you die, and then you're reborn again. that's how it has always been.
lilia knew it would be like this from the start. from the moment he first met you years and years ago, he knew that—unlike him—your life would be short but repetitive, while his was never-ending. never reaching, never touching, never grasping.
all he can do is stand by and watch as your lives begin and end until even his life can't take it anymore.

— 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞 (𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙚)
Tumblr media
Summary: An oracle unknowingly lived in a cult their entire life, cursed with a touch that sends people into madness and elation. The cult’s goal was to resurrect the demon, Māra, but thanks to being enlightened with the truth, the oracle destroys the cult and flees in search of the Senobium, desperate for a cure; and if no cure was possible then they’d open themself into death’s arms. They had no idea of the dangerous people they’d encounter in the downtrodden and shady city that is Eridia.
Tumblr media
— 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐬
(So that I don’t repeat myself too much, I had my friend, who is very knowledgeable in tarot, help me understand the cards when trying to figure out how this bunch feels about me. Please don’t take these as canon.)
Tumblr media
Leander: two of cups, the lovers, wheel of fortune reversed, eight of cups reversed, knight of swords, and knight of wands.
I thought right away that with my background in mind, I’d be the perfect victim for Leander. In desperate need of help, and nowhere to go and no one to trust.
My friend pretty much said he thinks we’re made for each other even though it’s utterly toxic. He knows what he feels and wants to do is bad, but he doesn’t care and is willing to continue a toxic cycle.
All in all, scary stuff, and I’ve all but walked into the trap he laid out.
Vere: the magician, judgment, king of coins, king of swords
When I first went over it, I was puzzled because to me it seemed too positive, because it’s Vere we’re talking about. Overall I thought that Vere could see that I’ve been dealt a bad hand in life, but I have the tools to avoid that again if I’m smart enough to not let it happen.
My friend sums it up to Vere thinks I’m capable enough to hurt him. He doesn’t underestimate me because he believes if he slips up, I can get him. If I act clueless (when I truly am just clueless), he doesn’t believe me. But our relationship overall can end up a bit positively as long as I continue to treat him like a person rather than a pet.
And apparently he’s willing to be my pet😅😳🫣… (y’all when I was told that I was wheezing. Honestly thought he’d hate my guts fr.)
Mhin: Ace of coins reversed, king of cups, the high priestess, three of coins
In short of Mhin and I’s relationship: “Don’t wanna fuck with you, but I still care a little.”
Much like how they pay attention to Ais, they pay attention to me, but they aren’t keen on getting close. Our overall relationship can be very sweet though because we can grow from one another and lean on each other strengths. “Where you fall short, Mhin can help, and where they fall short, you can assist.”
Ais: Four of Wands reversed, Ace of cups, two of cups, nine of wands reversed, four of coins, the fool reversed, ten of cups.
Wooo I tell you-.
Ais and I are quite alike, and we both draw each other in. But overall we’re fantasizing the impossible. If Ais and I were to get together, to cross the line where it’s no longer platonic, things can and will become more complicated and hard for us. We’re both too different that we’d never have much progress.
We looked more into it and it seems that arguments are frequent to happen, mainly due to Ais not wanting to change.
Bonus: Ocudeus: Three of Coins, Magician (sideways), knight of wands reversed
I forgot to write the notes down, but I believe Ocudeus has almost the same mindset as Vere with not wanting to underestimate me. Mainly just lurking I believe.
Kuras: Queen of cups reversed, the lovers, the tower reversed, ten of wands.
I think this one’s almost as bittersweet- maybe if not more- as Ais’s and I’s relationship.
My friend got orpheus and eurydice vibes. Our story is supposed to end in tragedy and he can only watch it happen. I’m supposed to be his, but it doesn’t work. We’re both shouldered with burden. Definitely also some reincarnation vibes which is a theory I’ve seen mentioned and can get behind due to the demo.
Elyon: three of cups, eight of swords reversed, The World, Seven of wands, Five of swords reversed, and Four or wands reversed.
Y’all don’t know how stunned I was at this one lol.
So my friend said that we’re close friends, and him being protective. It could be for his own benefit but he’s also genuine in wanting to keep me safe at the same time.
When I asked how we even became close because of our clear differences (him being a wealthy businessman and me a random poor individual), I got page of cups reversed, empress reversed, and queen of coins reversed.
Initially I thought I went to his brothel to feel less insecure, but my friend said he saw it more as he gives me compliments or something because he can tell I’m insecure. Maybe even offered the brothel to help with that because I need money.
Sen: Temperance reversed, six of swords reversed, ten of swords reversed, and five of swords reversed.
To put it simply, Sen is obsessed with the idea that I can possibly kill her, but I refuse to do so.
I asked my deck which love interest is best suited for me and Mhin takes the cake; and I found it very interesting because in my deck the card I got was the three of swords and the story chosen for the card is “The Crane Wife”.

Half Baked Theories
So here are my half-baked theories upon reading all of the Love and Deepspace myths, anecdotes, etc.
So, Rafayel found MC isolated on an island for some reason or other, surrounded by the ocean and doomed to one day be drowned by the sea. They fell in love, and he gave her his heart, quite literally (somehow), though he remains connected to it through their bond. Because Lemurian's blood is eternal, and she is now bound to one, and the God of the Sea at that, she is now eternal. Sort of. But not undying. Neither are the Lemurians undying, as we see they can be killed. (I suspect this all takes place on Earth before it's destruction, since Philos is described as separate tectonic plates held together by its core, making me think the oceans have disappeared (drained into space perhaps?)).
By the time we meet MC in the current timeline, she is already bound to Rafayel in some fashion or other. Does that mean she already has his heart? She also has an Aethor protocore implanted into her heart via scientific experimentation. Perhaps Rafayel gives her his heart later in some effort to save her from something due to the Aethor core? Maybe this results in a resonance link of some sort, between the eternal Lemurian heart of the God of the Sea and the Aethor protocore. In Xavier’s Myth, we learn that protocores used to have hearts inside them. (MC's Evol also pertains to Resonance.)
(Also, what is frozen in ice on Mount Eternal? Possibly another Aethor Core?)
So now flash forward to Philos. In Zayne's Myth, we learn that MC's heart is connected to the Creatio protocore. Due to the resonance of the Creatio and her heart, it drains her heart to power itself. It also can heal her heart when fused with it (at least temporarily?). When she meets Xavier on a young Philos, she already knows her heart is dying and that there is a particular protocore that can somehow heal her. (How does she know of this rare protocore? Who told her?)
Perhaps the Creatio protocore used to be the Aethor core fused to the God of the Sea’s heart. Then somehow, with Earth’s destruction, the heart and the Creatio are separated, but still linked by resonance. This begins the endless cycle of draining the Sea God's heart to power the Creatio, which kills MC, but because the heart is that of an eternal Lemurian, she reincarnates, to repeat the process again and again. (Is the Creatio the core of the planet that keeps Philos' people immortal, or is her heart linked to the core, perhaps by fusing it with the Creatio, at a later point when the original power of the core is drained away?)
In this first life on Philos, Xavier brings her the Creatio, but it is too late to save her (or he doesn't know how to use it) and she dies.
Perhaps as a result of the Creatio being forcefully taken once, (who did Xavier have to fight to retrieve it from?) the Creatio is placed under the watch of the Foreseer in the Tower of Thorns, by the mysterious "god" Astra. MC is reincarted over and over, drawn to the Creatio and Foreseer over and over, she dies over and over, and his memories are erased each time, until finally Zayne breaks free and sacrifices himself to save MC, fusing her heart and the Creatio and saving her life. Zayne falls into eternal slumber, trapped in the frozen tower, behind a never ending blizzard.
Presumably, this is a temporary fix somehow or other, and she dies again eventually, or is killed.
Meanwhile, multiple Gods of the the Sea have lived over time. (Are these all reincarnations of Rafayel or are there other Sea Gods as well?) Eventually, MC is reincarnated in the Golden Sands. By this point, somehow the people of Philos have come to understand that her heart keeps them immortal. Philos is at least 30,000 years old by this point, as its seas have been dry for 30,000 years. The people of Philos have placed MC under guard in a palace. Her heart is not noticeably dying now, perhaps because Zayne reunited it with the Creatio.
She and Rafayel reunite, and she eventually remembers their history. She also learns that if she does not return the Sea God's heart to Rafayel (by cutting it out of her chest and dying), he will eventually fall into eternal slumber and the seas will never be restored. Rafayel attempts to save her by erasing her memories and severing the bond between them, leaving the heart with her. However, MC is able to recover both her memories and the bond. She and Rafayel escape together in search of a solution.
(At this point, we don't know how this ends. Does Rafayel fall into eternal slumber? Does MC kill herself in an effort to save him, or does his servant kill her to try to save Rafayel and restore the sea? Perhaps Rafayel, like Xavier, finds a way to go back in time? No idea.)
Once more, we assume MC dies again at some point. She is eventually reincarnated at a time when Philos is beginning to die. She and Xavier attend an Academy together. Xavier learns that Starfall Forest contains (or is connected to?) the core of the planet, which now requires human lives to stay powered. It consumes humans, which become Wanderers who contain a protocore that used to contain their heart. The royal family started out sending human sacrifices into the forest, but eventually figured out MC could be the endless sacrifice to power the core.
(When did they discover this? Presumably the royal family has been alive since the creation of Philos, since Xavier has been around since its very early years, and he is the Crown Prince. The royal family sent regular emissaries to the Foreseer for prophecies from Astra. The royal family also is mentioned in Rafayel's myth, when MC clarifies that she is not actually related to the royal family. So how long have they known about MC and when did they begin intentionally sacrificing her to power the heart? Is this how she dies even though both Zayne and Rafayel sacrifice themselves to save her? There are no Wanderers in Zayne or Rafayel's myths. Did they not exist yet? They exist on Earth, but perhaps that is due to them traveling through spacetime with Xavier’s timejump.)
The MC at the end of Xavier’s Myth has no current obvious problem with her heart, though Xavier seems fearful of one. But if she is no longer dying to power the core, then surly that means the core will begin to die, and the planet and people of Philos with it. Xavier and a team leave MC as Queen of Philos, and they travel back in time in an effort to find a way to stop the planet and MC from dying. However, something goes wrong, and they crash. The Deepspace Tunnel opens up over Linkon, and through it, the dead planet of Philos can be seen.
Please give me your thoughts, peeps. I am desperate the talk lore with someone.

Unhealthy Obsession.
Okay wait actually, remembering how it took a while for Pariah Dark to get sealed off just means that they were some bending in his sworn oath, right?
Okay another angst prompt, consider; softly insane! Danny.
(Tw: Dark!Danny, morally ambiguous? No one's having a great time tbh but like it's poetically soft imo. Also our boy's officially lost it :∆ his words are cryptic.)
Final warning: This is depressingly sad for Danny's part, sure. But he's also unjustified so I'll classify this as [Dead Dove: Do not eat]
Danny's adopted by the Waynes just like, a bit little short time before his coronation (also he's around 16-18 years old because I'm dragging the desperate for validation because he never felt seen unless someone praises him trope). At that time span he's this very rarely seen brother that's absolutely trying his best between juggling his very impromptu 'how to be a proper monarch' lessons (read: the ancients drilling manors, rules, oaths, etc to his poor head because they don't want a repeat Pariah Dark) and being a present family members because he genuinely loves them. (They know about the vigilante stuff and the Waynes understandably backed away from convincing him, seeing how Danny already has shit ton on his plate.)
Until one day something big happens that almost ended the world, and Bruce dies. It was just him and his dad there, with no other bird or bat in sight. No one knew yet— no one needs to know. Kronos' carefully crafted human, no— prince finally shatters after all the pressure, and all he thinks is how unfair the world has been to him.
It's a very, very slow descent to insanity, what he had been through.
He lost so much, he won't lose anything again. And amidst the eerie scenery of a prince cradling the body of his father, was the sight of himself stitching him back together— giving him a new life. He whispered apologies after apologies to the unconscious man; and for a second Kronos would've pitied him.
Except he didn't. He knew he can't.
After all the chaos they finally had each other again, and Danny stood contently as he watched Alfred personally tend to his family's wounds, big or small. He also watched as his family bicker with each other after all they've been through, and realized something; all of this will die.
Alfred, Bruce, his brothers, Cass and Steph— they're all painfully mortal. He'll outlive his family, and in the end he'll be alone. He doesn't want to be left alone.
And what is to do when you realize your family is painfully, awfully mortal?
...you either curse them with immortality, or place a generational curse on them so you'll all meet in every life, of course! (Oh, did I mention about cursing your family so they'll all get reincarnated everytime they die to make them find each other by everytime?)
... except these curses are incredibly forbidden, because they go against the nature of life and death.
Which leads to the sight of Danny being cuffed from his neck, his arms, his wrists, and his legs. His expression is deadly calm, he smiles softly contrast to the Waynes that are watching in horror. He watches as his family's face contorts to something unreadable when his captors reads over his charges, and he couldn't bring himself to feel remorse.
"By the name of the Infinite realms, Prince Phantom is sentence to imprisonment, for the charges of tempering with the cycle of life and breaking the Royal oath."
"He will be serving until the day of his coronation by the terms of the infinite realms, under the watchful gaze of the ghost of time. The guilty may be there farewells before they are sent to their sentence."
Danny smiles at them; soft but undeniably cruel. He bows at them, like how he would bow on days where his father would teach him how to ballroom dance.
"this is not a goodbye, it is merely a see you later." He starts, voice full of merit. "May we meet again, and may the circumstances of our next meeting a better one."
His smile turns sharper then, the contrast between it and his soft eyes sends an unpleasant shiver. "For our destiny are tied, and our Fates will overlap with each other."
"You cannot change our destiny. For the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb, and our bond has tied us together."
"None of you will run from me— none of you can run from me."
"Because I will chase you down and hunt you until our family is complete."

NERD OUT ABOUT SOMETHING YOU LIKE
please
if you want to
IM SO SORRY FOR ANSWERING THIS SO LATE 😭 but anything for you my dearest!!
So, hindu people believe in mainly 3 things.
The creator
The sustainer
The destroyer
So according to Hindu cosmology, there is something called a yuga cycle. Yuga Cycle lasts for 4,320,000 years. There are 4 yugas in total. In each yuga, lord Vishnu ( the sustainer ) took birth in an avatar to serve Dharma ( divine justice ) to humanity and help humans expand their consciousness. He has 10 avatars also known as Dashavatar.
Satya Yuga - People in this period were immersed in meditation and possessed spiritual strength and longevity. There was no inequality, war or famine and everyone lived in peace. But as it progressed, people became a bit distant from spiritual practices and a class-based system came into place.
Treta Yuga- there were still some divisions among people but over all, they had peace and prosperity. Lord Vishnu reincarnated as parshuram, vamana and Sri Ramachandra.
Dvapara Yuga- In this yuga, Lord Vishnu reincarnated as Krishna. The Mahabharata took place. The Vedas ( hindu books ) were categorised. People began to stray from the righteous path and their dharma ( duty ) and corruption took places, wars broke out. Lord Krishna ascended to restore virtues and destroy evil again. This was also the time Krishna recited the Bhagavad Gita ( scared book of Hindus) to Arjuna.
Kali Yuga- this is the Yuga we are in now. It is said that evil took over, people are astray from their dharma, there is barely spirituality left. Corruption has taken place, hypocrisy has taken over people. People have become criminals. The environment is said to be destroyed and nothing is left. The holy river Ganges will become dry, no food or water so people will resort to cannibalism. Humanity will be destroyed. During the end of the Kali Yuga, it is said lord Vishnu will come in the avatar of 'Kalki' and establish dharma again and humans will go extinct and Satya yug will take place again. Thus, this will all repeat again.
Here's a image for better understanding.
Tumblr media
I am an Agnostic actually, but I think this might be real. So Hindus don't eat cow and most dont eat meat ( we are actually supposed to be vegetarians as killing of animals is a sin ) We are actually prohibited to eat meat in some times during the year and meat is strictly not allowed in temples. So there is this famous pilgrimage place called Tirupati in India. It is the temple of Lord Vishnu and many devotees go there to seek the lords blessings (I've gone there and it's really nice) there's so many people who want to see the idol in the temple so it is packed all around the year. So it's almost normal for people to wait around for almost 10+ hours. Theres a whole system but I won't get into that right now. So, after visiting the temple we get Prasad ( a offering to god ) and it is a laddu. It tastes so good!!! but recently it was tested in a lab and it found that the laddu was made with cow and pig fat. This broke out a whole controversy. Hence, I think we are really straying from the path of spirituality. Also the this is the laddu:

imagine lost in time/all powerful!Reader's original world was like isekai Reader, except at some point they straight up went full shin Godzilla, their mutation changing and shifting in response to everything that goes on around them in a desperate attempt to survive
Eventually when everything became a wasteland the original Reader's body cracked open like an egg as a new being rose out, still the original... but ascended, a new god was born from the destruction, after all, a shaft of light was all they needed to cease the darkness killing them
Cube Anon
OooO...
That would be interesting...
The birth of a new being out of the ashes of the old one, with any power one could want or dream of...
Lost in Time Reader is so confused and sad, wanting to rebuild their world (be it thr X-Men world or an alternate Earth or whatever it may be), yet they have to pick up the shattered, leftover pieces and place them across different worlds, all so they can live again and be safe...
Reader becomes lonely, depressed, anxious... until there's a flash of blinding light, and suddenly-
Reader is reborn again, reincarnated as a mutant in one of the worlds they remade...
And the cycle repeats, time and time again, each time they die, always coming back and always with a new set of powers, going back and forth through time amd meeting everyone all over again, from all across the X-Men Multiverse...
( I like it, @thewickedweiner Cube Anon! This au was a fun one! Oh, do you remember the Cult of the First Mutant AU? These aus are quite fun to work with, especially when almost any power or story or plot goes!)

"That is not Melinda, that is someone else"
Okay first I want to preface this by saying, I'm actually a big fan of the "reincarnated lovers" trope. Not necessarily soulmate tropes, it just feels kind of lazy to say, "The universe is just plonking you together" whether it be by a red string of fate or a word on your wrist or what-have-you. But reincarnation tropes fascinate me because there's so much potential for past angst and heartbreak, the idea of having a history with someone that is beyond your control as you know it, their potential for repeating cycles, the idea that you may have seen the person you love die over and over, or you have died in their arms, the questioning of your own identity vs who you have been before and before and before--I love that stuff. But I do think that from the beginning the show has kind of set up for Emma/Melinda to break out of this love triangle and come into her own as a person, and the love triangle itself is more of a metaphor for the two very different directions Emma/Melinda is being pulled in by virtue of her two warring souls.
I remember at the beginning of the series, people were all like "I'm Team Emma, Melinda has no right to just take over Emma's body!" like Melinda actually has any choice in whose body she gets plopped into. Emma/Melinda's struggle this whole season hasn't been a "Who will she choose" but rather "Who am I" and like... look I do think Emma did have a right to her wedding, did have a right to her future with Winston, but sometimes the universe yanks the rug out from underneath you and how you deal with that is how you come into your own--so you can either go on and on about how unfair it is, and how much you want things to go back to normal, or you can rise to meet the challenge. And I think that was highlighted in the previous episode--As Emma/Melinda was explaining to Winston that she was neither Emma or Melinda, but someone new, she was looking at Edred. I think in that moment it was this acknowledgement that basically since Emma and Melinda have impacted each other so heavily, neither of them will ever be fully Winston's or fully Edred's again.
Another interesting aspect we see of Emma/Melinda is that she actually becomes more of a leader as she accepts both aspects of herself. In previous episodes, and indeed, previous incarnations, Melinda's basically just... the team's missile. She's the powerhouse. She gets in there, screams, does the big FOOOOM black fire thing, and knocks the evil back for presumably another reincarnation cycle. But with Emma and Melinda merged together, you see her actively pepping the team up, focusing them towards their goals when fatigue of fighting in the cosmic realm has definitely taken its toll on Merlin. She cares about the Warriors like they're her family, and she basically uses both Melinda's experience and Emma's kindness to push the team forward even when hope seems lost. And that's also why we have this big heel-turn in the final battle, when it becomes not about 'defeating the evil' but saving Melinda's mother. That's a shift from confrontation, to compassion.
Emma/Melinda is someone who needs both Emma's compassion and Melinda's sense of bravery and duty to save the world.
In conclusion:

An autogenerated YT playlist threw The Final Fall from Tears of the Kingdom at me and I straight up started crying so I'm gonna ramble here a bit because it's my blog and I can post if I want to.
I feel like I got a lot more out of the ending of ToTK than a lot of people I saw talking about it, because I've been with the Zelda series from the start and I've been elbows-deep in the lore basically since I could read and was capable of detailed abstract thought, but I really wish I knew how to put into words how it felt to beat that game without rambling for a hundred years.
There's a sort of intense, personal investment in the series from decades of engagement that I never expected to feel had "paid off," but that's really what it was. We've gone through this story again and again, trying over and over and over to set things right—and we've learned a lot along the way.
Ocarina showed us that this was kind of Zelda's fault from the start, since she set off the chain of events that gave a piece of the Triforce to Ganondorf in the first place, thereby awarding him immortality and effectively locking her and Link into the reincarnation cycle until they could finally strike him down. Skyward Sword showed us that it was actually even deeper than that, implying that Ganondorf is the mortal vessel of an ageless horror that the goddesses themselves chased to ground ages ago, and that Zelda and Link are the result of Hylia and the warrior she chose never really being able to kill it once and for all—the reincarnation cycle in which they're bound started well before Ganondorf took his place as Din's champion. Hyrule Warriors showed us that no matter how many times he's sealed away, no matter how long he's sealed away, he'll always come back. The Legend of Zelda showed us that he doesn't need to be entirely sapient to continue causing terror. WindWaker showed us that even the goddesses themselves can't strike him down, and Twilight Princess showed us that no power can defeat him save for his own—not so long as he has a goddess at his back.
We've been through this story again and again, and never really won. It's never really final, even if he "dies" there's still openings for a return, there are too many gaps through which Demise—not necessarily Ganondorf, as they are separate entities, just the same as Zelda and Hylia are separate entities after SS—can squeeze back through.
The Calamity continuity is very clearly on a different timeline from the rest of the series. I understand the devs have said that it's "so far in the future it doesn't matter," but in-game that doesn't actually appear to be the case; the Imprisoning War is very clearly a different take on the events of OoT, on a timeline where Link never existed, where Hylia never manifested in mortal form, where she never started that cycle of reincarnation in the first place.
Beating ToTK felt like we finally did it. After almost forty years in the real world and thousands of years in-series, we finally did it. It's over. Everything we learned through all these different attempts came together to give us this one chance to set things right, to fix what we accidentally helped to break, to finally end it once and for all. A culmination of decades of effort and attempts and failure after failure after failure—because we did fail, every single time. Even when we won, we failed.
We didn't fail this time. We did it.
And to have the last stage of the game require the most high-stakes iteration of the repeated tests of courage given throughout the game, throughout the series—the fact that Link can't save the princess who spent ten thousand years saving him if he's not brave enough, if you are not brave enough to fall as fast and as far as you can? The final stage of the entire game reiterating the simple statement of the Stewards who taught you how to fall, "you have to be brave"—I choke up every time. Every single time. I can't put into words the rush that whole final fight gave me, from jumping into the pit at the bottom of the depths to diving to catch Zelda's hand. I can't describe how perfect it felt, how complete it felt, how finished the story feels to me now.
It took a lot of pain to get here. Decades. Centuries. But this time, those who are left really do get their happily ever after.
Because we finally saw what it meant to be wise, we finally learned how power can be reclaimed, we finally learned what it meant to be brave.
No goodbye has ever made me so happy. We did it. It's over.

casino cups hc: King Dice was originally born in the 1400s! dev picked him up in 1442 (dice was 42), they got together in 1444, and they (FINALLY) got (illegally) married in 1446. :3
"but x!" i hear you shout, "how does this work with the implication in casino cups that dice is a kid in 1908?" simple, my friend: dice got fuckin' bored.
in the like, idk, 1650s or so, dice gets bored sittin' 'round helping devil with souls 'n hell 'n all that stuff, so he goes and says to dev, "hey, wouldn't it be fun if i could just- restart everythin' from the ground up? like, not remember anythin' 'til i die, & then my memories'd come back aftah i got back here 'n then i could just relax 'ere with you 'til i got bored again. kinda like that old concept mortals came up with who-knows-when - reincarnation, i think it was called?"
next year, 1658, on the day of their anniversary, dev gives kingsley the ability to do - pretty much exactly that, literally whenever he wants. anything to make his king happy, after all.
and so, the cycle begins: dice gets bored, gets consensually, lovingly (and sexually, because they're capital-F Freaks) killed by dev, gets reincarnated into a normal, mortal body, eventually dies and goes to hell, gets his memories + normal/og body back, chills with dev; rinse and repeat everytime he got bored of staying/living primarily in hell. that memory [aka comic strip] over in 1908 was just another such life/cycle. :D

Vampire!Mikey? In general, how do you think he’d be? Would he act different? Also, Happy Spooky season! 🎃🧡
OK so for this one it was a little harder but I think I came up with a good idea for a vampire Mikey i hope you all love it. Its kind of a weird take on Darling too, i left it open ended on whether or not Mikey is crazy or if reincarnation is real so i hope its not too confusing.
TW:YANDERE BEHAVIOR, MINORS DNI, MURDER, SUICIDE MENTION
Tumblr media
Yandere!Vampire Manjiro Sano (AKA Mikey)
Mikey is an old vampire. At least a few hundred years, with his own coven that has its dirty fangs in every aspect of the Japanese underworld. He rules over it from the shadows with a bloodied fist. Only a select few of his most loyal and trusted men have actually seen him in person.
But before all of that, before he was the feared head Vampire of the Toman Coven, he was just Manjiro Sano a young and rebellious boy getting into trouble in the Edo period.
Back then he was known for being a very impressive martial artist and in his small village he had built a bit of a name for himself.
He was prideful and arrogant and one day he picked a fight with the wrong person. An ancient Vampire that found the young Manjiro Sano amusing and decided that instead of killing him for his arrogance would turn him and see where it went.
And at first he was distraught by loosing his humanity, then quickly elated at his new found power, he loved his new strength and speed.
"I could take over all of Japan like this!" he had decided quickly that would be his goal and a young Manjiro wanted to share his ambitions with his Fiancé... Another young woman in the same village that had been promised to him when they were just children.
He didn't know about the thirst. Didn't account for what it could do to his mind when he first saw her flushed skin, could hear her heart beating. Manjiro hadn't even realized what he'd done until he was done drinking her mangled corpse dry.
After that he forgot all about his ambitions and abandoned his dream of taking over Tokyo because after killing his first love nothing else mattered. He just wandered throughout Japan, slaughtering anyone who crossed him, managing to gain a small but very powerful following of other vampires.
Then he found her again. Its been at least half a decade but he knows his true love when he sees her, clearly she had been reborn, and he wouldn't let her go.
He kidnaps her, tells her about the past, their past, how he was so sorry for all his mistakes, for killing her on accident and how he'll do better this time.
But she screams and cries, swears that he's confused her for someone else, that there's no way she's his reincarnated love but Manjiro persists that he knows its her and eventually she'll remember... She has too..
But five years go by and Manjiro is loosing his paitence... She should've remembered by now, at least something... She doesn't even love him like she used, just stares in fear of him like he's a monster. He figured she would have been used to all the blood shed by now.
He isn't a patient man, one day he looses his temper and looses his love all over again to his monstrous hunger. Devastated he becomes even more blood thirsty, and once again his dark empire grows.
Then another few decades go by and he finds her. Again. This time he's sure will be different. He'll be kinder with her this round, she'll fall in love with him in her own time and then they'll be together forever.
The cycle repeats like that. His love dies one way or the other. By his own hand, one of his enemies, or even by her own hand when she can't take it anymore. And for centuries it has become the norm.
You die and he waits. Its been a few decades now. Your last life was particularly bloody. It was war times sweet heart, and you wouldn't listen to him when he tried to protect you. It's not his fault you ended up in bloody pieces.
Somewhere down the line he stopped being Manjiro and had become Mikey. Some think he's a myth created in the underworld, others know better…
Today he sees you again, serving coffee to some nobody, and his eyes meet yours. He smiles and you smile back. He thinks this life will be a fun one.

Twilight Arbiter AU notes / haino au
->very loose inspiration by canon
->character deaths; reincarnation;
->long post, includes some doodles and drawings;
Tumblr media
ramblings and doodles under read more
On one mission deep into desert Cyno actually lost his life, but was brought back to life by Hermanubis spirit. They made a deal, that Cyno will live (he had great will to survive), he will gain Hermanubis powers, but in exchange after he dies he will serve as *Twilight Arbiter*, guide for the souls going into afterlife. Cyno agreed.
After getting back to life his eyes turned red and hair white. When he got back to the Aaru capital, by general court and populace he is considered scary and weird. The order of silence is aware of Hermanubis presence now, but Cyno never spilled about his death. He has terrible scar on the neck that killed him, he hides it under usual black choker. (another au, another dead Cyno)
*
Cyno and Alhaitham at firsts don't get along to well. They would be passive aggressively butting heads, but somehow find common language as they believe most of the politicians in the court are idiots while the king himself doesn't listen to good advices. Additionally there's pending corruption of the land and catastrophe pending, which others don't take too seriously.
Somehow they end up investigating the corruption of the land together.
Tumblr media
*
Of course they fall in love along the way, as this was meant to be. Because who else is there.
But Cyno is resisting feelings, because he considers himself to be dead man walking. Doesn't know when death will take him, and why would he give Alhaitham any hopes and then break his heart. So it's better to not cross that line.
Nevertheless, the line is crossed, because of course it is. Because the world does fall apart and there's so little time to stop the corruption.
And then things fall apart so quickly. Deshret dies. The country gets ripper apart by corruption and monsters.
And then Alhaitham finds the way, because he always does. But the price is bloody, messy and his to pay. Going into heart of the corruption and allowing himself to be taken over.
Tumblr media
*
And so, you see, he dies. And Cyno can't do anything about it, what was done is done. He couldn't stop him.
Alhaitham's soul took over the corruption, Hermanubis explains. His soul to the core is corrupted
And so Cyno begs for a way out, to save Alhaitham's soul someway, somehow. He will do anything. To allow Alhaitham to pass over to afterlife and then cycle of reincarnation.
Another deal is made. Because there is a way, though it is not easy, nor quick nor painless.
Tumblr media
*
Because Alhaitham's soul gets thrown into cycle of rebirth and death. Every life, and hundreds of these await him will slowly heal allow for cleaning of th corruption. But it's for Cyno to bring his soul back again and again, and then soak they soul in the waters of the underworld rivers. Repeat, repeat, repeat the cycle. And bit by bit, Cyno too, will be forgetting all of what is Alhaitham. Of the man he used to be, his words and quirks. But Alhaitham's soul will be clean again.
Alhaitham lives his lives, not always as human. Never remembering the past, or rather his original life. Yet plagued by nightmares of the horrors and pain in his chest.
By the last cycle Cyno only knows that he will be one day taking Alhaitham's soul to the underworld. As any other soul.
Tumblr media
Nobody could predict, that this time around Alhaitham could actually see him. No humans can actually see Cyno. He only appears as the death takes over; clad in the robes made of twilight, splitting the sky.
Tumblr media
So how could Alhaitham see him? It just happened. And Alhaitham is unrelenting, he is curious, he's a researcher. He wishes to know the guide from the underworld himself after witnessing him over and over.
And like magnets, yet again they meet and orbit around each other.
Tumblr media
And then he remembers. He remembers it all, back to the beginning, back to thousands years before, back to all the lives he lived. He remembers it all, but he now knows Cyno does not. And he can only wonder why, Cyno can't tell him. Here they are strangers; not even existing on the same path. Because one day he will die, and who knows of Cyno? Will he continue his neverending duty? He seemed content when they spoke.
But Alhaitham is selfish, terribly selfish. And he can't stand that once again they will be separated, he might even fight the god of the underworld for it.
So on his own he embarks to the underworld, to meet the god himself.
Hermanubis is welcoming him. Inviting. To sit and speak. Afterall, Alhaitham is one who stopped origin of corruption and is in a way frequent visitor to the underworld.
And what is there to hide at this point? The deal he made with Cyno is revealed.
How Cyno decided to always bring Alhaitham back, to cleanse his soul in return for his memories. No matter how long and how painful.
And then, Hermanubis asks. What will Alhaitham do now?
*
I haven't decided yet how it ends.
