Ooo loving how fancy dragato's little blade is there with a little gem and everything! Is there a fun story behind that weapon/any fun abilities it has, or is it just a uniquely classy short sword?

Design-wise, the gem is actually there in his official appearance! Here though, it is just a normal sword (albeit a fancier one). The GSA doesn't have reliable access to magic or much knowledge on its finer workings, so most gemstones are only for decoration.

On the other hand, their mirror counterparts do have that kind of resource! Their workshop can create all sorts of custom weapons suited to the wielder, even for those without magic (Mir Falspar's knuckledusters, for example).

As for back in the lightworld, Dragato was raised rather highly on a planet that worshipped star warriors, leading some of their influences to have rubbed off on him. It's not always visible beneath his chaos of a workshop, but magical or not, he prefers weapons with some elegance to them.

Is there tumblr bookbinders that... aren't hardbinding fanfic? Like, love and light and all support to them that do, but i want someone or a community who i can talk about experimenting and fucking around and doing nuts things with my covers and dyeing pages or weird measurements for books. Looking through the SM tag and seeing there was apparently discourse about Kevin having anxiety is incredibly funny to me since I have an AU with a friend where Kevin has so much fear and stress over things going wrong it cost him multiple jobs and lead to him having a heart attack at age 23

Delilah probably? Goes to school? (Maybe she does? she has homework) so I keep thinking about her getting into like, a school play or something. They're doing hamlet, she gets the role of Claudius (Anji thinks she should've gotten Hamlet), they're going over her lines together at home and Baiken is occasionally tuning in to bits and pieces like a dad who pretends to not be interested in whatever you're watching but is still invested anyway.

Javy doesn’t dare look at the man– doesn’t dare to even breathe– just waits until he hears the hook click shut, terrified of interrupting this.
