Inui's first meeting with....

Obanai Iguro.

Iguro peered at the man sitting directly beside him on the train. While at Hashira meetings, they did see each other, it was rare that either of them talked with the other.

They were taking the same train to different destinations, Inui needing to change his train five stops later. Coincidentally, they had taken the same cabin, and Inui happened to see him. He had sat down next to the man with the snake, smiling at Kaburamaru when the reptile hissed softly at him.

After a small hello was given, (Which was not returned by Iguro by any means), both hadn't uttered a word.

Truth to be told, Iguro was slightly jealous of Inui. He was blessed with monstrous strength, one that could rival Uzui, but not enough to surpass Gyomei. He had been born with eyes and hair that stood out, instead of looking as plain and boring as Iguro thought he was. He was given the capability to establish a good rapport with anyone he met and had the patience to handle even the most Idiotic of Idiots. What made that skill worse was his closeness to Misturi.

He turned away to look at the window and saw rain steadily pouring down. He didn't want to look at him. In his opinion, Inui was a mystery. He had seen Inui fight, and the way he had done it radiated pure, raw, fury. But as he sat next to him, none of Inui's demeanor betrayed him. Inui's image was still the big cheerful brother that didn't really get bothered by whatever the world threw at him. Not the cold-blooded killer. He couldn't tell if Inui was purposely deceiving others by putting on some goody-two-shoes act to make himself look good. To Mitsuri, especially.

"Are you mad?" a voice from his side asks. Iguro jumped. He forgot. Another odd skill was his acute sense of hearing. He was perceptive, well versed in reading the room. Mitsuri was especially easy to read.

"It's nothing." Iguro murmurs, crossing his arms.

"No, no, you're angry." Inui insists, eyebrows furrowing, genuine concern lacing his soft comment. Actually, Iguro thought, Inui seems softer than usual. Throughout the entire train ride, Inui hadn't teased him like he usually did to others.

He decides to stay silent for a few moments, but the red eyes that stared at him silently, boring into his soul began to unsettle him.

After five minutes of awkward silence, Iguro finally caves in, murmuring, "What's your relationship with Mitsuri. Why does she like to hang around you so much." He says, rather monotonous, but a small hint of embarrassment peeking behind his voice. He slowly blushes after finishing his sentence, pretending to take interest in the raindrops rushing down the window.

Inui tilts his head. "Why do you-" He sees the edges of Iguro's ears turn a light shade of red, notices the sound of Iguro's heart, and soon enough, realisation hits him. "Oh. Ah. It's like that, huh. You like, like, Kanroji like that."

Iguro doesn't respond, but after a few more seconds, he turns to face forward, nodding slightly. "You tell anyone, I kill you."

The taller man laughs. Iguro snaps his head towards him, glaring angrily. Did the Music Hashira honestly think that was a joke?

However, Inui shakes his head, before placing his index finger over his lips, a small, soft, kind smile on his face. "It's okay. I won't tell. It's a secret between men." He places his chin between his thumb and index, thinking. "Ahh...my relationship with Kanroji? She's like, my little sister. She reminds me of my actual sister. They'd get along well. There's nothing going on between us."

Iguro finds himself even more embarrassed. He'd jumped to conclusions, putting Inui and himself in an awkward situation. Even worse, Inui had no impure intentions toward Mitsuri, he had simply wanted to take care of her like he did with his own little sister. He had heard the story of the Ryunosuke siblings from a very teary eyed Mitsuri, and immediately wondered if he had insulted Inui.

"I'm not mad." Inui says simply, before smiling again at the snake hidden in Iguro's collar, giving it a small wave. He turns to face forward like Iguro had done, sighing, and leaning back into his seat, a smile on his face. It amazed Iguro how he could tell what anyone, from any background was feeling. He wondered if Inui had anyone he couldn't read at all.

Silence seemed to be their thing, not talking to each other for periods of time before someone decided to say anything.

"You can't." Iguro raises an eyebrow.

"Can't what?" Iguro asks, cocking his head to the side.

"You can't ever be me." The statement itself was insulting, but the way Inui said it held no venom.

"What do you mean by that?" Iguro replies, sitting up and folding his arms across his chest.

"If you want to win Mitsuri's heart, you can't be jealous of others for having things you don't. If you want to win Mitsuri's heart, do it as Iguro sees fit. Not how Inui does. If Mitsuri falls for a version of Iguro that was crafted to make her happy, then you'd just be living under the illusion that she loves the true you. If you want someone to love you, you must do it with you. Just be yourself. No need to be jealous." Inui pauses for a few moments, offering a small smile to Iguro, again. The man never seemed to run out of them. "The way I see it...Mitsuri already likes you a lot. And...Iguro's already cool, you know. I'm jealous myself."

Iguro couldn't believe his ears. "You're bluffing. You, jealous of me?"

The man nods, tilting his head. "I wish I could have a good relationship with snakes like you do. I wish I could devote my time into making one specific person happy no matter what. I wish I had your dedication and care for those that you love. I'm jealous of the cool sword you've got, of colours that match everything you wear, for the tiny appetite you have. You try having my food cost, you'll see why. You've got so many things I don't have, including someone that helps you see your own self-worth, so you don't have to be a jealous idiot like me." Inui huffs, imitating Iguro, folding his arms across his chest."

Iguro stares at the Hashira in disbelief. Not only did the guy give him heartfelt advice, but he had also simultaneously managed to help him gain an ego boost. "Hey, Ryunosuke, what do you eat to make you so big brother like, huh? What kind of element of the earth did you consume to become so wise?"

"Eh-?" Inui exclaims, cocking his head to the side, blinking, a blank expression on his face. Iguro shakes his head.

"Never mind." Iguro mutters, leaning back in his seat.

The two don't talk throughout the entire trip, and when Inui leaves the train for his stop, he waves a goodbye to Kaburamaru and Iguro, expecting no response, like his small hello earlier.

To his immense surprise,

A small "Goodbye, stay safe." reached his ears.

Through the window of the train, he saw Iguro looking at the other window, and through his reflection, a small, hardly noticeable smile on his face.

mitsuri is the kind and supportive big sister. she is well beloved for a reason, indeed. she's the one you can go to if you need encouragement. oh, some people said that you're bad at your hobby? that you're bad at your job as a demon slayer, if you happen to share her occupation? don't listen to them! you're doing your best, that's all that matters. she won't rudely confront anyone being mean, but she will confront them if necessary. she's just very kind about it, about everything she does <3

kyojuro and tengen are the guy equivalents of mitsuri. kyojuro is so so supportive, just like mitsuri! tengen is also very supportive, but he's the one to lovingly bully you (and later get scolded by his wives for it. he looks like a kicked puppy every time they yell at him LMAO). he's also one of the "no-one can bully them except for me!!" types. it's okay, though. if tengen's being too mean, just go hide behind kyojuro or tengen's wives! kyojuro will laugh joyously and just... hoist you up and run away. he probably takes you out to eat! the wives can and will bully tengen back if you choose to run to them.

sanemi is definitely that uncle. the words he spits towards you in front of everyone else are mean and cruel, but behind closed doors, he's much gentler. gives you little headpats. he feeds dogs with you as a pastime. also he is SO protective man. if someone fucks with you, just go to sanemi. he will chew them OUT. he'll tear them a whole new asshole. he's the second "no-one can bully them except for me!" type.

obanai is an interesting one, i think. on on hand, he is kind of like sanemi in that he's a little mean and harsh with you, but he's generally much gentler than sanemi. he's kind of like a reserved older cousin. you don't see him much, and you don't talk to him as much, but he loves you nonetheless. he's just too shy to admit it. bro also doesn't want to make his wife mitsuri sad, so yeah, he's a lot gentler with you than sanemi is. he will also be so mean to anyone who harasses you.

muichiro is definitely the quiet, absentminded brother. if you just want to quietly watch clouds or listen to the wind, feel free to sit beside mui when he's doing it! you don't even have to bother announcing your presence. he knows you're there. he doesn't mind. mui is also a bit possessive. you're his sibling!! do not ignore him pls, he will be sad. probably clings to your sleeve, regardless of if you're older or younger. another one who will be VERY mean to anyone who harasses you.

giyuu is the reserved brother. he's another one you can go to if you need quiet time. he might offer to share food with you, maybe he'll ask what's on your mind. he's awkward with showing that he cares, but he really does! he cares a lot. he's like... the quiet guardian. he's nicer to anyone who bothers you, but he will confront them and will be very firm about it. he won't bully them back like sanemi or obanai, but he won't be kind like mitsuri.

gyomei is the father of the group. as the oldest hashira, he is the one that has to stop any shenanigans going on. you want to do something stupid with tengen? no. do not. you will make gyomei sad if you get hurt :c he seems like he would give really really good hugs. also, if you fall asleep on his arm, it's okay. he'll stay there with you for a bit, or he'll carry you to bed. he watches out for everyone's health and safety!

shinobu is the responsible big sister. she is ON TOP of your health and will absolutely tear you apart if you fail to take care of yourself. also she is SO mean LMAO... she bullies you lovingly. she also falls into the "no-one can bully them except for me!" category. if someone is mean to you? oh man. oh boy. they had better beg for her forgiveness. an angry shinobu is a scary shinobu. she can be very sweet, though. if you're having a bad day, she will definitely hug you tight and tell you it's okay to feel angry or sad (hypocrite...).

Can't wait for this Shinobu Vs Douma fight to be animated so y'all can see how badly she was whooping his ass. It's clear as day how she SHOULD HAVE won. but of course, they needed to fit kanao somewhere in the story (I'm not sure why) and even if they wanted to include her, it could've been Shinobu, Kanao, and Inosuke (while shinobu was alive💀) Vs. Douma. That would've been so much better. Shinobu was fast as hell, and she managed to stab him 8 times without him even knowing. She also stabbed him and drove him all the way into the wall (ceiling? I think it was cause she fell) even when her lungs were completely slashed. Yet she "was too weak to behead a demon" and then we got muichiro that's like 2 inches taller than her doing it💀 She very clearly should have won, and then she got eaten by him. Which is just bullshit. Then you got fucking giyu over there getting turned into a donut like rengoku did by akaza and that mf lived. Just straight bullshit. The dullest character survived while the best ones died. Mitsuri dying was just plain old mean and pointless. Why would you even do something like that?! Obanai dying made sense cause he carried. (I hate obamitsu as a ship) Idgaf, Tanjiro didn't carry AT ALL. (I hate tanjiro) Genya died but I don't really care cause I ain't care for his character. Sanemi deserved that pain. He said he ain't have no brother so god said "ight bet" and took him. Muichiro dying hurt. He didn't deserve that. I don't care for gyomei, but I gotta give him his props. He definitely carried when fighting kokushibo, and one of my favorite panels was when muzan turned into that big ass baby and gyomei pulled his ass back. Kaigaku Vs zenitsu was mid asf. (I hate zenitsu he the weakest of the group) Inosuke is the MOST UNDERRATED CHARACTER. He created his own breathing style, he can dislocate his joints at will, he kept up with zenitsu when he was using Godspeed technique💀, and he can shift his organs. Tanjiro pushed the rock with his slayer mark, inosuke never got one and did it💀 bro is BETTER than tanjiro at this point. I wish that rengoku's dad, shinjuro, fought during the battle. That would've been so tuff to see him fight akaza🗿then you got tanjiro that knew him for like 3 hours going on for 2 seasons and a movie about it🙈 Imagine if tengen got his slayer mark, and didn't have to retire. Would've been so OP. That blew me cause they really removed the BEST hashira 💀

"Okay, you can join us!" Tanjiro told him.

Sanemi doesn't really care.

Actually, he wants to kill everyone who's in his way so.

I don't know how to write fights so um let's just say:

The royals (the twins and yourself) used bows to shoot down the dragon from the towers!

Obanai protected Mitsuri from almost everything!

Shinobu was chasing Giyuu with poison!

Tengen and the other three along with Tanjiro and his team and secretly Sanemi were all actually! Killing the dragon.

It died YAY! But who will get the egg?

Sanemi doesn't want anyone in his way.

So anyone who was in his way got smacked away and he got the egg!

In the end, everyone just explored each other's houses except..

This is basically a list of animes that helps get over or deal with the trauma inflicted by various animes. At the moment, I guess fellow JJK fans might need this, and prolly AOT fans on November 5. Have fun watching

Haikyuu

Short Synopsis: Determined to be like the volleyball championship's star player nicknamed "the small giant", Shoyo joins his school's volleyball club.

Episodes: 85 + 5 OVA

The worst thing that can possibly happen is either the 3rd year students graduating or you being unable to support a specific team (nah cuz bro how do you pick and root for one? I end up being happy for the team that won and depressed for the team that lost)

Highschool Babysitters

Synopsis: After the sudden death of their parents on a plane crash, two young brothers named Ryūichi Kashima (a freshman in high school) and his younger brother Kotarō (a preschooler) are left orphaned and having no place to call home. The chairwoman of the prestigious Morinomiya Academy offers to take the boys into her care, giving them a new house and free tuition, on the condition that Ryuichi helps out with the school's daycare center while also attending normal classes during school hours.

Note: Plane crash seems sad but trust me, its only mentioned in the first episode, and the rest 11 is just fluffy goodness. Nothing can prepare you for the cuteness.

Synopsis: One newcomer red blood cell just wants to do her job. Between bacteria incursions and meeting a certain white blood cell, she's got a lot to learn.

A good mix of science and entertainment. The episodes dont have to be watched in any specific order.

Mr. Osomatsu

Synopsis: The everyday lives of identical sextuplets who cause mischief.

Episodes: 75 + special eps + movies

Has a good amount of 18+ jokes, but its not too overwhelming. It doesnt necessarily follow a plot, and each episode is usually two different stories combined. So, skipping episodes should be fine. Also, it features very popular voice actors for the sextuplets (Geto's VA, Gojo's VA, Levi's VA, Koro sensei's VA, Erwin's VA and Haku/ Sugawara's VA), Iyami (Obanai Iguro's VA), Totoko (Shoko's VA)

The Vampire Dies in No Time

Synopsis: The story follows the famed vampire hunter, Ronaldo, who receives a job to destroy the supposedly invincible vampire lord Draluc and rescue a human boy he allegedly kidnapped.

Episodes: 24

Note: Its a hit or miss, the running gag is used constantly and gets tiring at times, but the overall anime is a good watch. I personally loved John the Armadillo

Buddy Daddies

Synopsis: Assassins Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa meet Miri, a girl looking for her father on Christmas Day. Kazuki, Rei, and Miri unexpectedly end up living together.

Episodes: 12

May get dark at times, so I wont guarantee that itll be a smooth sail, but we get a wholesome conclusion so you can count on that! Otherwise VERY fluffy

Blue Lock

Synopsis: High school soccer players from across Japan gather for a controversial project designed to create the best and most egoistic striker in the world.

Episodes: 24

Isnt exactly true football, but yeah. The anime is pretty fine. It doesnt exactly go under the fluffy anime like i mentioned in the title, but you can check it out if you want.

Synopsis: The story is centered on high school student Haruka Nanase, a gifted swimmer. After encountering his childhood rival, Rin Matsuoka from Samezuka Academy, he and his friends revitalize Iwatobi High School's swim team.

This anime to me, personally is what haikyuu is. A great comfort anime which knows how to make the viewer connect with the characters. I dislike it when the whole anime gets reduced to just fanservice, like guys lets look beyond that and actually enjoy the plot.

Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan

Synopsis: From smoking and exercising to nihilistic outbursts, everyone's big brother Uramichi always brings up the not-so-moral side to his life lessons

Episodes: 13

This one is very real and relatable in many levels. Theres a lot of screenshots and panels available online, so you can check a few out before watching!

Obey Me

It's based on a popular otome game, and can be watched as it is even if you havent played the game. The basic idea is that theyre based on the 7 sins, so their personalities are really amusing. As for the plot, its pretty wholesome.

Play It Cool Guys

Synopsis: Despite their distinctive personalities, Souma Shiki, Hayate Ichikura, Shun Futami, and Takayuki Mima all have one thing in common: though naturally clumsy, the four disguise their embarrassment from tiny slip-ups by maintaining a composed demeanor. However, it is actually the guys' airheaded natures that makes the girls' hearts throb. No matter what happens in their daily lives, the boys do their best not to lose their cool!

Episodes: 24

Each episode is barely 10-13 minutes, so it just doesnt feel enough lol. Most of their slip ups are relatable and could get a chuckle from the viewer. The art style is a little different but its good. Definitely worth watching, once or even multiple times.

Tanaka Kun is Always Listless

Synopsis: For high school student Tanaka, the act of being listless is a way of life. Known for his inattentiveness and ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tanaka prays that each day will be as uneventful as the last, seeking to preserve his lazy lifestyle however he can by avoiding situations that require him to exert himself. Along with his dependable friend Oota who helps him with tasks he is unable to accomplish, the lethargic teenager constantly deals with events that prevent him from experiencing the quiet and peaceful days he longs for.

Not gonna lie, Ive wanted to act like Tanaka. The characters are lovable and the anime is worth giving a try. An underrated gem. I personally loved the school festival episode.
