do you ever think about how buck was able to pull and lift eddie to safety, while eddie wasn’t able to either pull or lift buck? like I know the physics were different and eddie would be able to pull and lift buck under the same circumstances that buck did it, it was just impossible to lift him up onto the ladder in contrast to doing the standing lift buck did to get him into the firetruck but still WHAT A FUCKED UP PARALLEL to incorporate both pulling and lifting again *screams into hands* (also to have both of those instances in the shooting be the only times eddie is making noises of pain, which while horrifying to hear were also indicators that eddie is still very much alive to feel it, while buck was just quiet and dead, but that’s another kind of fucked up)

realized that both the beginning and the end of the happy paris stage of Loumand's relationship has this same contrasting orange to blue/green color scheme. and like. the visual metaphor of Armand literally leaving his cold, lifeless world behind him and choosing the bright, golden warmth of life with Louis instead of killing him like he was supposed to in that tunnel. but as soon as he chooses the coven over Louis, he separates from the warmth like oil in water that was never supposed to be there. and now he's back out in the cold. I'm normal about this, btw.

Edit:

The only times it cuts to the rearview mirror are when Will is looking away from Mike but Mike is looking at him. This happens twice. They could have shown Jonathan was witnessing plenty of lines for us to know he got it.

And yet....

On two separate occasions it cuts to them. And this is what's happening both. times.

The first even cuts away when Mike looks away.

I cannot emphasize enough that these shots are of two separate instances, 29 seconds apart.

The single best thing about reading Chainsaw Man weekly is that almost without fail when the end of a chapter makes you think Fujimoto is going to zig next week he'll zag so hard the other way instead, and even once you start expecting that it's still so hard to know what he'll do next, besides have the most chilling cliffhangers in the biz. in an ideal tv adaptation of trc there is an absurd number of shots framed like pertinent tarot cards. calla upside down on the aerial silks hanged man pose. adam gets a meticulously framed but ultimately subtle magician card moment at fox way of course. and adam two/eight of swords with the blindfold. the gray man sleeping in tdt chapter 11 with the right number of vertically oriented objects behind him simulating knives in his back for the ten of swords. multiple iterations of the lovers. blue as the page of cups with her apple juice or yogurt cup. put gansey on a horse (metaphorical or otherwise) for death. idk!!!

Anyways thinking about all the times Rayla has been literally buried alive, but also how Callum did so metaphorically during her two years absence and after she returned.

He buried her memory, refusing to say her name out loud or think of her:
