IK I’ve miniposted about this before, but like.. Accents and quirks just do something to me. You know deep down, you’re into them too!! “English” is written as “Common” like in dnd, which I’m pretty sure is the canon language in twst

Riddle Rosehearts, that despite being raised all prim and proper in the queendom, just can’t drop his accent no matter how hard he studies. His niche lingo and references confuse everyone else- Even his own countrymen, because everything he says is outdated by at least a couple decades. It’s so much worse when you get into his head with all your “contemporary language”, it’s like a professional pickleball player trying to translate magicam into textbook logic.. Which if you’ve ever written a caption, DOESNT WORK. You love him all the same though, even if he’s a permanent senior <3

Octavinelle that’s made to learn multiple languages with vastly different systems for tone and dialect to even consider studying on land, and rely on you for translation in their first year :( Just imagine Floyd hanging off your shoulders, popping and clicking words in his native language to whisper the nastiest things he can muster- Just for your teachers to ask what he’s trying to say while he giggles into the fat of your blushy cheeks. Jade messing with your hands or mouth in public because “that is.. How we talk. At my home.” You’re smart enough to know they’re not that touchy under the sea, but you indulge him, as a treat for beating out his twin in appropriate articulation. Azul floundering (with elegance, ofc) in his first couple dealings while you whisper translations in his ear- You’re much too close, and he’s no guppy! <3

Jamil Viper, that unlike Kalim, doesn’t have all the professional teaching in common. He’s far from beginner, but there’s a clear divide- He’s self taught, and it gives him the cutest accent!! He slips into his native tongue most often when he’s upset and can’t communicate with all the adrenaline,, Maybe if you like the way he sounds so much, he’ll be willing to teach you a couple words! Can’t guarantee they won’t be targeted insults, though,, <3

Idia Shroud with an accent and stutter,, You can barely understand his common when he gets into those mumbly rants, and you’re the only who really cares what he’s saying in the first place! Eventually, you guys get into relationship-telepathy territory where you communicate almost exclusively with text and body language- But that doesn’t help your poor classmates, especially the ones in his dorm, that need him to speak for events and housewarden wisdom. Point for Idia, ig? Translator and partner acquired!! <3

Diasomnia with HEAVY accents and ANCIENT common vocabulary!!!! Lilia’s accent is the heaviest, and Sebek’s the lightest (even if he plays it up for his ego) but all of their vocab is a mash of textbook definitions and clunky, outdated slang. Silver has the easiest time with learning modern common on account of his native language still being human, but when he’s especially tired there’s zero common coming out of his mouth, and there’s been SO many incidents of him “speaking tongues”. Malleus hates his accent when he’s at school- It only makes it harder for people to understand him than it already is, but if you think it’s attractive I’m sure it lightens the blow <3

Oh wow, this one really hit me. The way you dug into Skylar-Chilli’s head, the little details, the emotions—it’s so raw and layered, I had to sit with it for a moment. There’s something painfully real about the way you captured his need to prove himself, the exhaustion, the quiet moments of realization. It hurts in the best way.

ok because they got me thinking about it: silly alien biology hcs ft. Koriand'r and Komand'r

The headcanon is that I don't think Tamaraneans have hair. Wait, but Starfire like pretty famously has some cool and awesome hair, right? WRONG. I think that's their flight organ. Why is everyone's so called hair red? because there's blood in it. Wait, you might say, they're aliens, why does their blood have to be red? because starfire can breathe on earth and humans can breathe on tamaran and so the atmospheres are probably similar enough that differences are negligible and if they use oxygen in any way similar to how humans do, it would probably make sense if they also have hemoglobin which is red for transporting oxygen through their systems, which would make their blood red. Anyways, do i know how their 'hair' lets them fly? no i hate physics. but we know that birds fly by flapping their wings to make air spirals that hold them up, so maybe the hair like. moves or something to create similar air movement effects, and we've already established that the atmospheres on tamaran and earth are similar so we know that air molecules exist and can be moved thank you for understanding. so they fly by moving their hair, which is not actually hair, but an organ made up of different long strands of something probably, and that organ is red because there's blood in it because we need blood in parts of our body we want to move, because blood needs to go to your muscles which are what moves things, and in the blood is oxygen which allows us to do cellular respiration which is what generates energy that allows us to move. Cellular respiration which generates energy through movement also generates energy through heat, which is why we get warmer when we exercise. and what is starfire's hair sometimes depicted as when she flies? trailing flames behind her. I rest my case.

komand'r is disabled, she cannot fly while everyone else on tamaran can. she also has black hair, while everyone else has red hair. related to my previous points, this is because there is no blood (or at least no oxygenated blood) flowing through her hair, thus not allowing her hair to move and do whatever physics and/or magic thing (did i mention i dont like physics) that would allow her to fly. her hair probably acts more similar to our hair in that its dead and doesnt really do anything except i guess our hair actually helps us regulate body temp via insulation but that's not the point. the point is that komand'r is visibly physically disabled and in addition to not being able to fly, she probably also has to do actual hair care such as brushing/detangling that other tamaraneans don't have to do because they can move their hair and that was also a struggle that she faced in addition to not being able to fly, because disabilities permeate more of someone's life than is immediately apparent from the outside eye.

now i do not remember but i feel like there's panels where kori is flying in the void of space without any breathing equipment or anything and that pokes holes but im ignoring that for purposes of fun but there's also probably a way to fit that in the hc that im not thinking of right now because this is me having fun and being silly with worldbuilding expansion which is one of my favorite things. the science im bringing up here is also treated so loosey goosey for fun purposes. thank you for coming to my ted talk

ren needing to be a leader to everyone and fixing their identity around it not just because he operates on 'they dont want ren they want what ren can do' and hes codependent as hell. but because humans naturally want things to be predictable and under control. and ren, who has had his life uprooted traumatically needs to be able to plan and command things to have a sense of safety.

and they're still going through stressful things. and he needs to keep his friends safe. hes had such LITTLE control over what happened before. and over things that are still happening to them. he needs to have that role. more than they realize. because at least he can direct something.

(but boy you can imagine how hard he takes it when he makes a bad call. he starts having a crisis and thinks hes a terrible leader and a terrible friend. how do you think they took the whole infighting situation that happened with mona and ryuji. they fucking internalized and took all the responsibility for that)

so when the gang have to scope out shido's palace without him because he's recovering from the 20th he stresses out sosososooo much. its not that he doesnt have faith in his friends. that he doesnt think theyre strong. its that if hes not there he cant make sure they're safe.

ren has been taking care of himself from a young age. managing the volatile emotions of the grown woman who occasionally shares a house with him. and now hes fallen into a leadership position and he doesn't want to let anyone down. and they take on all this responsibility and manages so much of their operations himself because a part of him still only trusts himself despite finding such good friends.

everyone is looking to him and he has to be all these things he doesn't think he is. helpful and strong and brave and bold and above all, good. its all a performance. (at least, he thinks it is. but fake it til you make it enough and it just. is. who he is) he needs this role to feel like he has reason to be loved. like he's earning it. but the role is exhausting!! and that's the thing with faulty coping systems!! the person ren is becomes second to the pattern. the mantra of This Will Keep Me Safe. even as its actively hurting you

Bones AU

Recently my brainrot got to the point of me mashing two of my favorite things together, so I present you this Bones AU I cooked up

If you never seen Bones here's a excerpt from Wiki:

The show is a forensics and police procedural in which each episode focuses on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth to the forensic anthropology team of Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan

So now that you know what Bones is, here's my thoughts on the characters (get ready. I have a lot of thoughts)

Max as Dr. Brennan

Max is forensic anthropologist (one of the best in the World!). He is cold and rational (love is a chemical reaction). He comes off as a little off putting and doesnt get social cues or customs.

In the show Dr. Brennan is also a renown writer with a best seller book series. I'm not sure I can see Max in this role, but I desperately want to keep the plot of the episode with lab being a club every character works at (in the episode Brennan writes a story about a club called The Lab and reads it out loud to Booth who is in a coma)

A very important part of Brennan's character is the fact that she is an orphan. Her parents left her and her brother alone when they were teens. I think in this au Max can also be an orphan, but unlike Brennan, his father will not be redeemed. My idea is Max's father was actually a really dangerous fugitive and his family had to run away and hide from him. And maybe in order to hide her kids from Jos she decided to put them in the system. Maybe she comes back later and then tries to mend their relationship (basically the plot between Brennan and her father in the show)

Daniel as Agent Booth

Daniel is a fbi agent and a former sniper (also one of the best) who went through war. He is emotional and up beat, goes by gut feeling and loves to joke around. Daniel is a pop culture fan and loves sports. He is the one to "thaw" Max out. Gives Max little pet names (Bones, Maxy, Maximus).

At the start of their relationship Max and Daniel argue a lot because of their different views on life and Daniel sometimes thinks that Max is emotionless and doesn't have empathy. But when they start getting closer, Daniel starts seeing Max as a caring and emotional person that he is.

In the show Booth's character is built on his role as a protector. His father is an alcoholic who used to abuse him and his little brother Jared. Maybe Daniel is the same in this au, but I'm not sure I want to make Daniel's father an abuser. but this au is still in the works so.

Charles as Angela Montenegro

Charles is an expert on computers and reconstruction of victims identities / crimes. He is a free soul, an artist who never really wanted to work with dead bodies and only does it to help his best friends Max and to make enough money to go to Paris and live his artistic life full of sex, muses and parties.

Charles is very emotional and empathetic, but also impulsive and doesn't stay in one place for a long time.

Carlos as Dr. Hodgins

I'm not completely sure about this casting but the relationships with other characters work really well. idk I need to think about this more.

Carlos is an entomologist, botanist, and mineralogist. Most of the time he is very calm, but when it comes to things and peoke he loves he can be described as enthusiastic and eccentric.

A big part of Hodgins' character in the show is his upbringing. Hodgins' family is millions rich and is one of the sponsors of the Jefferson University and the lab. But I don't really see Carlos as a millionaire (even if Hodgins himself doesn't act like that). The part of the rich sponsor family in my mind belongs to Strolls (obviously), so maybe Carlos is a normal guy. idk

Also an important thing is Charles and Carlos relationship. It is very sexual at the start but after some rocky moments they build a very loving and strong relationship.

Oscar as Zack Addy

Oscar is studying to be a forensic anthropologist. He is truly a Max's student. He sees Max as his true mentor and role model. Oscar is very smart and a little nerdy about it. He also is rational and calm, but very impressionable due to his young age.

Has a very close relationship with Carlos because they live together (Oscar lives in the attic of Carlos' house) and work in the same office.

Lando as Sweets

Lando is a young fbi psychologist who was assigned to Max and Daniel to asses their relationship and then basically imprinted on the pair. Lando is a geek, he often makes references to pop culture and freaks out over a new Avatar movie. He is also very awkward and vaguely intimidated by Daniel at the start of their sessions.

Lewis as Cam

Lewis is a coroner. Despite being the official boss of the lab, he and Max basically run things together. He is cool and approachable down to earth boss, but very strict about the rules and paperwork. He and Max have a small rivalry (bones vs flesh thing) .

Other characters

The rest of the grid will be squinterns (squint interns) and other workers of the institute!!

I imagine George as Clark, a very reserved and serious guy who tries to keep things professional, but turns out to be a big gossip.

Seb plays the role of Gordon Gordon. A weathered psychiatrist who has to sort Max's and Daniel's relationships.

“ I'm facing a dilemma tonight, look around, I'm trapped in silence.

The image of a Bolin tucked in your shared bed and screaming at you asking for your presence on the room made you giggle, but it didn’t convince you enough to look away from your current task.

It was late at night, you knew it by the almost non-existent sound of cars and people outside the building your boyfriend and you lived at, but it didn't matter since you hadn't finish what you started and if there was something you two were sure about was how determined you were at the time of beginning a task, you needed to finish it in the same day or there would be problems.

The sound of the earthbender's steps coming near you made you turn your gaze to the frame of the door were he was standing now, pouting and with his eyebrows a little bit furrowed.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Excuse me, but I believe it's past your bed time.” he said, crossing his arms on his chest. “You may accompany back to bed or we will use force.”

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I'm not sleepy!” you defended yourself, pouting back at him. “I just had this big cup of coffee and I'm set to stay up all night, baby.”

Green eyes blinked astonished. “You leave me no choice, owl.”

Before you could protest anything else, big arms trapped you by the torso as Bolin threw you to his shoulder and made his way back to the bedroom. Most of the time that would be fun for you and it would made you feel a hurricane of emotions in your stomach, but at that exact moment it just annoyed you a little bit.

You weren't kidding when you said you didn't feel any type of tiredness in your system, but Bolin just didn’t care at all, he knew if you overworked yourself the results of it would be a very unstable you fighting for your life against a burnout and the earthbender loved you in such amount that just the thought of you feeling anything other than happiness and loved made him sick.

Now on bed, strong arms hugged your waist from behind to keep you laying with him. While he was already beginning to snore, your mind was going a thousand a second thanks to the caffeine and the bother of your unfinished task.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I feel you trying to get away.” a hoarsely murmur came from him, making your hand stop from moving his arm with such slowness that you thought he wouldn't notice.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Bo, I just need to finish this, I swear it would be fast.” you whispered back, almost begging.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Honey, we can get up earlier to finish it, I want you to rest. You deserve it.” he fought back, even if you didn’t see him, you knew he had a frown.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “Bolin, please.” now you begged, not receiving any answer for a couple moments made you feel down at the thought of not finishing what you were so eager to see the results.

When you were about to try and get up again, Bolin's arms just let you go and he switched on his side. Turning to face him you saw how your boyfriend was standing up from bed and putting on his slippers.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ “I'll help you,” he offered after thinking for a bit. “So you'll finish faster and we can sleep, how does it sound?”

Your heart felt warm, you couldn’t love him more. You were so fast to stand up with him and get close to leave a sweet kiss on his lips, he blushed thanks to the action, but gladly reciprocated and smiled after distancing, both of you going back to the living room by the hand.

Bolin had thought of it and had decided if he couldn’t get you to rest without finishing your work, he would join you and even help you to lift a bit of weight off your shoulders. The earthbender adored you to the point of sacrificing his own sleep schedule just to help you however he could, you stayed awake even after he fell asleep like a rock as soon as you finished your work and went back to bed with him just watching your boyfriend sleep with his mouth a bit open and a thread of saliva coming down his cheek, thinking how you won the lottery with him.

He did wake up at noon the next day saying how he lost his ability to stay up late, you would completely tease him with that from now on.

I can accept criticism when it comes from a place of pointing out a part of my artwork that can be upgraded or a different technique i could use, or even the pose or the technical aspect of a painting/drawing, what is literally just insulting an artwork because you don't like it and have no grounds for it and is just hate... that's what i don't accept.

I think your experience both with organizing and disability has probably provoked you to rethink the entire concept of "success" as our culture has defined it, even if you feel yourself still longing for some of the comfort and ease that capitalistic success can seemingly provide (or that we are conditioned to believe it can provide). im not sure what to say that can match the effort your put into your message, in fact i am galled by the fact that i know that i can't match that effort. i don't know how to make sense of the fact that a person who is finding it incredibly difficult to remain connected and engaged during this time, due to disability, has decided that i was worth that level of effort when they don't have the energy to message people they know. i don't think i am worth that effort. but i also respect that mired in all that you're mired in, it's a meaningful gesture toward engagement and connection to even bother writing such a message. i just think in a lot of ways i am a misplaced target for it, because i am a ridiculously privileged and publicly exposed individual who receives dozens of heartfelt messages that he doesnt find the time to respond to every single day. i think if anything that i've written rubs you the wrong way you'd be right to approach it with cynicism. because what the fuck do i know, banging around on my laptop every day and getting paid for it. how dare i lecture anybody about not unlearning capitalism adequately enough. i am one of capitalisms little milking cows. a massive publishing company makes a weekly profit off of me, off the byproduct of the worst years of my life and my worst traumas, as well as the meaning i've made from the scholarship of others.

i'm so enraged for you that you got a debilitating case of COVID (after several other cases) on an encampment, and that now the community you foster at that encampment is not there for you. i am disgusted at how more seasoned activists and organizations have regarded student protestors as disposable this entire year, selling them out to the cops, cutting bad deals with campus administration, and sending them to yellow and red risk level actions without adequate communication and getting them kettled and beat, or else nullifying their efforts with mealy-mouthed talk about keeping things peaceful. i see so many toothless, neoliberal protests happening here, ones that serve only as fundraisers for massive nonprofit orgs, and i also see literal teenagers being dragged right into paddy wagons by the likes of the PSL or the RCP while the Dems deride them and dance to Brat tracks, not even pretending to care the way they unconvincingly did in say 2020.

It's all making me terribly cynical, wondering where we are headed and whether i can or should encourage people who are younger, stronger, more energetic, more pliable, and more vulnerable to me to give up all that they've got for a cause when it's likely gonna be chewed up and spit out and not met in effort by anyone else. i am mournful of the fact that even i can't match that effort. every time i get a message from a friend or acquaintance who is going through some new awful traumatizing event i want to just curl up and disappear, because i can't even keep up with sending compassionate messages to all of them, let alone actually showing the fuck up and doing anything for them. and so sometimes i slip into the disaffected, blunted feeling that once led me as a younger man into libertarianism, thinking that all i can or should do is look after my own wellbeing, and fuck everybody else. and obviously that is a horrible path that is not by any means moral and certainly didn't help me anyway. it felt like we were on the brink of a great paradigm shift of some kind, a collapse of these evil systems, and now it feels like all of that is as far away as it's ever been, and that there aren't enough people with class consciousness and care for one another to make it happen.

i don't know. i think we all have to abandon our dreams of success, of comfort, of saving the world, the fantasies of everything being fine. i think we need to look to our immediate surroundings and our communities. i think we need to ask for help a whole hell of a lot more than any of us are doing, and to recognize that that is a form of helping. i think we need to get small. and remember we are weak animals. and stop thinking there is anything special or chosen about us. and to remember that nature can often be very cruel and that there is nothing we are owed. disabled people already know this of course, we know life isn't fair. we try to do what we can and yet we wake up feeling even less capable the next day, and it knows no logic and the universe remains indifferent to it. but there are people around us who can care, when we ask them to. and ways that we can just be there alongside one another in the muck of it all. not even necessarily making things better. certainly not being a savior and making the pain go away. maybe just sitting in the muck together.

all of which is to say, i am feeling stuck and overwhelmed and useless myself, anon, and i dont have any more answers than you. but thanks for messaging. im sorry people have taking advantage of you. including in my opinion lots of other activists. looking after yourself and not letting people guilt you doesn't mean turning into a conservative. the kind of anarchy that i am embracing right now is one that goes beyond linear change, beyond making meaning, beyond any idealistic visions of the future, beyond even fighting for some kind of symbolic survival. it's just being. none of it has to mean anything, none of it has to be headed anywhere. it just is. there is plenty for you to be bitter about.

Diavolo and/or Doppio headcanons if you have ‘em?

Oh, how i wished you told me this off anon so i could go yipee friendship!

Clears throat. Headcanons. Good or bad, they're mine now!

• Diavolo made Doppio carry a nonworking phone to appear normal when they were calling. The whole reason that he uses random objects as phones in vento aureo is because his broke before getting in the taxi

• He may be silly at times, but he's not stupid (although he's used to perceiving himself that way and may even take it as a fact, its just the self-deprecation) (plus...headaches and spacing out frequently don't help with that)

• Speaking of, he also perceives himself as having really bad luck. Mostly, so he's not surprised when bad things happen but that also means he's overjoyed when good things do (and vento aureo really just shows the worst week of his life, huh!)

• On the topic of personality, he's a bitch for praise. That's non-negotiable, is one of the few joys in his life. He's also not ashamed to ask for when he feels like he deserves it.

• i used to headcanon him as touch averse by anyone

but this changed, especially thinking a bit about that scene where he helps bruno. So i guess not, unless it's someone he doesn't know/is being too pushy with him.

• despite their body being in his 30's he still thinks/perceives himself to be a young adult, in his 20's or something. Admittedly, 100% self indulgent headcanon territory that he regresses to even younger sometimes, But it doesn't mean he's not bodily an adult even in those times. System 101 stuff...

• He has a general idea of how his childhood and teenager days were, but doesnt remember much about it. just general flashes because his memory from that time is like swiss cheese, full of holes. (Gee, i wonder why!!!) things he vaguely remembers includes: growing up by the beach and being forced to attend church. Also he doesn't hold the emotion attached to those memories. Diavolo does.

• Diavolo and doppios headspace is also not very well developed. It's mostly endless dark, very abstract void, full of sensations and feelings more than anything. Doppio isn't aware it's a headspace (thinks of it as a dream) and Diavolo doesn't care enough about changing it (except for adding a throne to sit on). If they do happen to be together on headspace, it's a very rare occurrence.

• OVERRALL i think the boss is really kind too. Vento Aureo has him at his worst, but there was a reason that passione grew so big initially. It is of my headcanon that hes really charming and charismatic to others not only in voice, but even trough text, to the point that multiple characters are willing to work and kill themselves for him (Periccolo, Carne(?) Doppio) even without having ever met the guy in question.

• and i really like the contrast of Doppio being impulsive and brash, braving through whenever he feels afraid (more of a fuck it we ball situation) while Diavolo puts up a façade of being able to endure everything but values well thought decisions to secure his safety. THEYRE WALKING CONTRADICTIONS i love it. Shoechoe puts it way better:

Hi there 👋 I'm also here to ask more about the robot au. Does Donella know about Varian being Ulla's perfect robot? Or does Hugo tell her about Varian when he initially finds out? I'm curious as to whether Donella plans to take apart Varian to learn more of Ulla's secrets.

How does sleeping and eating work for Varian? Does rain or being immersed in water affect him? Does his energy come from magic or science? (Like is he solar powered, or is there a magic energy source keeping him working?)

What are Yong and Nuru's reactions to realizing Varian is a robot? After finding out he himself is a robot, does Varian ever try to communicate to other robots, even the rogue ones, to stop them or to test if they are as sentient as him? Are there other sentient robots besides Varian, or is he the most advanced? I imagine Varian not only dealing with an existential crisis but feeling out of place with both people and robots (not human enough to be human, but too advanced to be labeled another robot).

Also any other fun robot quirks of Varian?

currently i am Undecided on if donella knows what varian is. either way she would definitely find out, and i think it would probably be from hugo IF she doesnt know already. im actually going kind of insane about the idea that she wants to take him apart so i'll be real with you that is now part of this au. thank u. hugo would not know about this specific goal donella has

because he is meant to perfectly integrate with humans, most things are normal for him! his system, while synthetic, still works Mostly like a biological human. water doesnt really have an effect on him BUT i think he was programmed with a "fear" of cold weather to avoid being in the snow too much because it can damage him a little bit (excessive cold has a negative effect with his system)

his energy source is partially magic and partially science! the reason he is sentient is he does, truly, have a soul. this isnt really fully understood by him at first (and the source of much angst, naturally), but the reality is the magic that ulla harnessed was the ability to give him life. as for the rest of his energy- he's mostly solar powered! it helps that he lives in corona, the light kingdom. out on the road he's usually able to still stay energized- but i can imagine times where all energy sources are getting depleted and he acts a little loopy (its fun)

yong and nuru definitely are, well, shocked? like it is an insane thing for anyone to witness. but despite their confusion they definitely still care deeply for him. yong in particular is inquisitive about varian's robot-ness, i think that can get a little uncomfortable for varian sometimes but he knows he means well

i think the gang would at some point try and find ways to communicate with the other robots via varian! im unsure currently if that would ever be successful, but it would absolutely be something they'd try considering how varian's existence is basically the Key to a lot of this. that being said, while they probably dont know for sure, i can say that varian is the only sentient robot- unless you count what ulla did to herself (uploading her consciousness/soul basically lol. scary AI mode)

"not human enough to be human, but too advanced to be labeled another robot" obsessed with this btw. yeah..... You Get It. in general varian's character desperately trying to find his place is a super important element to me- so it manifests in the robot au like this exactly. but being with yong, nuru, and hugo eventually leads to him finding kinship with them. which, i think, is pretty similar to the regular version of vat7k (where he doesnt find himself within corona OR his mother's extended family- but instead with this group of weird nerds). varian might always struggle with his lack of human traits and his humanity that other robots dont have- but his friends and family, who are notably weird and unique in their own ways too, certainly help get rid of those bad feelings and reassure him

as for fun robot quirks... oh most definitely. remind me later (<- im telling myself this too) to talk about them bc i already made this way too long and listing off Fun Robot Quirks Of Varian is gonna make this even longer ksjdfhsd

here's one for now: when he gives hugs he can sometimes cause someone's hair to go puffed up from the static electricity. this also includes kisses but how will they Ever find that out :)

i personally think that glenn was a paladin like rodrigue! this is totally a headcanon from me, so take everything with a grain of salt. in the game, felix has the missing item, "black iron spur." now canonically, it says that the spur is given during knighting ceremonies in the kingdom, so technically every single knight in the kingdom has one, but its wayyyy cuter to be delusional and pretend that felix stole the spur off of glenns armor. i also have a headcanon that glenn taught felix how to ride a horse and the spur is extra sentimental because of that. it can also be a way for glenn and ingrid to bond, bonding over a shared love of animals and horse riding. maybe ingrid loves horses now because its something that glenn loved, and now she sees him whenever shes around a horse? i think its cute that two of the people who were deeply close to glenn have some kind of connection with horses, but tbf this is a historical fantasy so everyone has a connection to horses.

on the flip side tho, we at least know that glenn was a big sword user, and paladins are lance welders. granted, everyone in the kingdom knows how to use a sword, dimitri included even tho he canonically prefers a lance. you do get sword proficiency with the paladin class, but on paper its a lance class because you need a certain level to get there.

sword master is a safe class to choose if you wanna go that route. given what we know about glenn, he certainly has the proficiencies to be certified as a sword master at the very least. (although reasonably people could be overexaggerating glenns skill due to time passed and allat, but i dont personally think that thats the case solely because he was appointed by the kings side.)

also, solely because this is on my mind, it looks like felix was 14 at the time of the tragedy of duscur. was looking at the wiki for a fic im working on as well, felix was born in the year 1162 and the tragedy happened in 1176. im not usually nit picky with ages and stuff, but those dates were fresh on my mind so i thought id share!!

also 100% i dont think glenn has a crest either. i dont think that rodrigue cares enough about crests to disown glenn in the same way that other familes care (stares at gautier) but i think he wants to ensure that the crest is passed down at the very least. felix doesnt care much about crests tho so i imagine that the tradition will most likely die with him, regardless of if the crest system is abolished or not. to him, the strongest person in his world doesnt have a crest, so they truly dont matter much.

i’m happy people agree with me about glenn’s potential lack of crest, it seems to be a popular take! i love him and holst being in the same boat where their lack of crest doesn’t matter much in terms of their ability or social standing. i imagine glenn wasn’t super popular considering his reputation as a rude little shit, but i definitely think he was respected considering how gifted he was.

I don't care about Sugar personally, or hate Chaos personally. But I need the public eye to see what he's been trying to dissuade people from seeing.

Him refusing to use the name Sugar irritates me, dawg. The guy used it before his partner. It's so stupid and petty to not use someone's preferred name because of a petty vandetta.

Chaos recently pushed Sugar into attempting its life.

The pinned post is also something that reveals the horrific shit this Nobody person did to Sugar. It's very hard to stomach and listen to, but I'd wager it's worth it.

i know the usual white feminist crowd wont even care to read this but i just have to share it somewhere bc i feel sick to my stomach.

today we went to uni wearing all black bc the government wouldn't declare a national mourning. i heard one of my friends asking another boy why wasn't he wearing black, he answered with "why, what happened?" ive lost all hope for this country and men in general.

one of my professors had a rent abt how homicides weren't special to our country and if we were to move abroad we'd become second-class citizens there. this is a man who lived in europe for multiple years and now is making his studies with the help of the government, making moneys we cant even dream of, telling us to basically get over it. why am i even surprised at this point, he's working with government, theyre giving him money for his researches, of course hes gonna help discard the news under the rug faster, the media block irl version.

another professor made even crazier comments, a misogyny speech, he said that he didnt even care abt the events bc the girls were the murd3r3r's ex gfs. he talked abt how it was women's fault that they were always choosing the abuser men, not even considering the abuser men in question as a problem. i couldnt believe my ears when he said he wouldnt even help a girl if he saw it happen. i feel worried abt the women in his life (he doesnt have a wife, ofc, thats why hes so salty at this age with a child) i tried so hard not to cry and scream during the lecture, having to listening to him in silence.

they're trying to feed us these propagandas even more than media, poisining our brains and gaslighting us to believe that world outside turkey is hell, even worse than here. the sad part is these are people who were supposed to be role models for students, but they're men after all.

i felt even more nauseous when one of my "friends" (apolitic, a new way to say you're pro-government and a freak) as a woman said that there were more homicides happening in belgium. i couldnt even look at her at this point, me and my other friends argued saying how the difference is that theres a law system there, as oppose to ours. she ignored us and kept trying to talk abt biochemistry. how can she not see that everything is political when you're a woman? how can she believe that she's privileged enough to not have a political opinion?

this is my new visual schedule:

i have no idea how to image describe pictures with so many things in them, so I'm sorry I have no image description, but I will do my best to explain the purpose of each page (left to right top to bottom)

the cover (keeps pieces from falling off if I put the flipbook in my backpack or something) the cover also has my name on it but I cropped this out

'first next then after' page (the main page I use, has my soonest upcoming tasks- I take pieces from the 'to do' page and put them here)

'to do' (at the morning I fill up this page with my tasks like cleaning, chores, and studying- I do have cards for other fun activities and eating but I only ues them on the first page in between tasks from this page)

'done' (when I finish a task on the 'first next then after' page I move it here- it gives me dopamine to see everything I finished that day and makes me less stressed about the amount of things I need to do)

hygiene page- this page is actually so so good its like a cheat code- If you take nothing else from this post at least take this idea: the top (orange) section is for the morning, the bottom (blue) section is for the evening. in the morning all the cards will be in the morning section, when I finish a task I get to move it to the evening section (repeat this for all 6 tasks). in the evening I do the tasks again but the cards get moved to the morning section this time. (if there's a day where I didn't finish then I just move them anyways the next morning as a "reset") this page is in my book but it's probably more helpful just to leave it in the bathroom on the counter or mirror or something (without systems like this I cannot take care of my basic needs, even with these supports and the additional supports in my home i cannot reliably take care of my basic needs)

if you're curious at all how i made it let me know and i will post the steps i did to make it and where I got all the pictures!! (I want everyone to be able to access systems like these if they need them, so I am very open to sharing this)

something i really really like about this flip book is that its very tactile and very visual- it does not require very much brain power to use- I really like to just move around the pieces on the pages with the velcro as a stim

i was promted to do this because recently a teacher told me I just need to manage my schedule better and that I should be trying harder (little does she know I'm trying my hardest already)

ive tried so many types of schedules and routines and I just cant stick to them (this is one reason I suspect adhd in addition to my autism but idrk and it probably doesnt matter), but then after she said that I was like okay I guess this is a good excuse to try a visual schedule so I made one (very time consuming but also fun) and then am still disapproved of for some reason... I think she thinks its "too childish/I'm not disabled enough" which I disagree because if it helps and they need it then they should use it regardless of sterotypes- i think this is true for all adaptive tech and disability aids

my point in showing this is to let other autistc adults know that you can use visual schedules if they help you and to boost someone else's confidence for them to use an aid they are afraid to because its stigmatized (also yes mine looks kind of simple/etc but I chose to do it this way because it works good for my brain like this- not because its how all visual schedules should/need to look)
