🌸 pt 2 🌸
🌸 pt 3 🌸
pairing: ken x reader
summary: ken does some self reflecting after the patriarchy incident and personally apologizes to all the barbies
warnings: little fluff, little angst, reader is a barbie, talk ab gender equality?? can be read as platonic or romantic ig 🤷♀️
word count: 1.3k
authors note: ok this is kind of goofy but i thought ken needs to repent after what he did and also why not throw a bit of fluff in 🤗 also this is my first fic ever dont hate on me 😭
special shoutout to my bsf june for being both my cheerleader and my proofreader ‼️
It had only been a couple of days since Barbieland had been restored to its rightful state. The barbies were back in charge, no longer evicted from their homes, and things were starting to get back to normal. Not only that - but changes were being made. Though barbies continued to be the leaders of Barbieland, the Kens’ message was heard loud and clear - they no longer wanted to be accessories to barbies. And that was fair. But there still was some understandable tension between the two groups. After all, it’s not every day you get kicked out of your own house and treated like a servant.
For those couple of days, you had kept to yourself, and that was okay - though you normally loved to have fun with the other barbies and kens, you didn’t mind being alone. What wasn’t okay was that you didn’t dare to leave your dreamhouse, almost fearing that if you left you might not be able to come back to it. For the days after the incident, you avoided the kens like the plague, and that was something strange and new for you. Sure, they had their moments, but even then, they had always been sweet. You never dreamed you’d actually lose your trust in them.
When the other barbies would wave to you from their dreamhouses, asking if you would be at the beach, at their party, etc., you simply told them you weren’t feeling well.
You weren’t feeling well, that was the truth.
Never once living in Barbieland did you have to worry about being oppressed. Never once did you have to worry about being, well, a Barbie! That was the fate of the people who lived in the real world. Never once did you think that could happen in Barbieland.
But it had, and you didn’t think you could recover.
So you sat on your sofa all day, sipping your imaginary coffee, almost waiting for something to happen.
A knock on the door.
You were almost sure it was one of the other barbies, checking up on you because they were worried, but instead you opened up the door to see him.
Ken. The Ken. King of the Beach. Tall, blonde, athletic. Always happy, always kind. At least you had thought so. It was a shame. You had always liked Ken.
“Hi Barbie,” He says nervously.
“Hi Ken,” you say, without a hint of cheerfulness.
“Can I, um.. can I come in?”
“Why? Have you come to take back your Mojo Dojo Casa House?”
“No, Barbie.”
A moment of silence. Though you were wary, you knew you couldn’t keep living like this. You couldn’t hide forever. Motioning for him to enter, you sigh.
“Come in.”
He perks up a little, before sliding into the house. He’s not really sure what to do with himself, so he just kind of stands there awkwardly.
“Uh.. here,” you say, motioning to the couch. He follows, and the two of you sit down.
“So. Why are you here then?” You ask, your voice a quiet mix between anger and sadness. You can’t gather the courage to look him in the eye, instead staring down at your feet.
“I came to apologize.”
“Hmm. You did?”
You can feel the tears beginning to well. In your throat, in your eyes. You had never had real tears, not until all of this had happened.
“Yes Barbie, I did. Oh god, where do I even start. Barbie, you deserve so much better than what we did to you. I’m sorry we took your dreamhouse. I’m sorry we made you wait on us. I’m sorry we treated you - that we made you feel - like you were insignificant. You are so much more than that.”
You can’t take it. A sob rips from your throat, the tears spilling over your eyes. You can’t stop. You cover your face in embarrassment.
Ken immediately rushes closer to you. “Hey, hey,” he says quietly. He’s not sure if he should hug you; he instead just ends up resting a delicate hand on your back, patting it every now and then. “Oh Barbie, please don’t cry … I’m sorry, I’m so sorry..”
You’re choking on your tears, almost hyperventilating.
“Alright, hey, it’s okay. Just take a deep breath, alright, it’ll be okay.”
When you’re finally able to calm yourself down, Ken continues.
“You have got every right to be upset. All the barbies do. But I can’t help but notice you’ve taken it harder than everyone else.”
You’re almost angry at that last sentence. He couldn’t be serious, could he? Did he seriously expect you to just get over this?
Ken seems to pick up on this, and adds, “And I’m not saying that’s a bad thing either. Like I said, you’ve got every right to be upset. I’m just worried about you!”
The anger begins to subside.
“You .. you haven’t been at the beach in days! You love the beach, Barbie.”
“I loved the beach.”
Silence.
“Barbie .. I just wanna see you happy again. We all do.”
Nothing.
“Barbie.. what can I do to fix this?”
You finally look up at him, tears in your eyes.
“Why did you do it, Ken?”
He gazes back at you, his expression even sadder then it already was. Now it’s him who can barely look you in the eye.
“Barbie,”
“Yeah?”
“First of all I want you to know that I’m not trying to excuse anything I did. But if knowing will make you feel better, I’ll tell you.”
You nod, unsure of what you’re about to hear.
“Barbie .. I just don’t feel good enough. I thought being in charge of everything would make me feel important. That it would make me feel better about myself. I was wrong though. I just ended up hurting people that didn’t deserve it. It was so, so wrong. I was wrong, Barbie. I’m so so sorry.”
“Ken ..”
He begins to cry himself. “And now I’ve hurt you, I’ve hurt you so bad you don’t even feel like you can leave your dreamhouse!”
It’s then when Ken lets out a series of comically loud sobs, face cupped by his hands.
“Oh Ken..” you say sympathetically, rushing over to the counter to grab a box of tissues. “Here..”
Ken sniffles, blowing imaginary snot into the tissue. You pat him on the back gently, just as he had done for you earlier.
“I’m sorry, Barbie. I’m totally pathetic,” he whines.
Sitting down next to him, you take his hand into yours. “You’re not pathetic, Ken. You’re showing remorse, that you truly are sorry for what you did. That’s not pathetic.”
“You think so?” he sniffs.
“I do. Ken, you never needed to change yourself to be enough for other people. You always were enough. You’re kenough, Ken!” you giggle, pointing at his sweatshirt.
“Ah, yeah..” he laughs. “You think so?”
“Yes, Ken. I liked you before patriarchy. You were always kind, and funny and caring, and I was always happy to be around you. When you changed, not only did I feel disrespected.. I was sad. I missed the way you all were before. I get it - you don’t wanna be second to the barbies. But you could’ve said that-“
“Another way,” Ken interjects.
“Yes.”
“I know, Barbie. That’s what I feel awful about. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really am sorry.”
“I’m sorry too, Ken. Everyone should feel heard in Barbieland.” you mutter quietly.
For a moment, the two of you sit there, nodding heads in silent agreement, before Ken asks,
“Barbie?”
“Hm?”
“You really liked the way I was before?”
“Yes, Ken. Like I said, you don’t need to change yourself. For anyone. You’re enough, the way you are.”
“Then I won’t ever change again,” he says, before pulling you into a hug.
“I hope not,” you smile, resting your head on his shoulder.
“Barbie?”
“Yes, Ken.”
“Will you be at the beach?”
“Yes, Ken. I’ll be at the beach.”

Could I please request a mystic same faces gods au with Echo, I feel like Echo would be the god of the people who are physically and mentally affected by war or something.
I also like that Rex could maybe be the god of survivors guilt a more last one standing type thing, the good and the bad, because I saw you were having trouble writing for him.
No hurry on this I know you have a shit ton of requests, so be sure to pace yourself and don't feel bad for taking time off for writing.
Accidents Happen
Summary: War has swept through your small village. The Imperial army has killed almost everyone. You’re one one a handful of people who managed to escape the slaughter. And now you have to bury your people.
Pairing: TBB Echo x F!Reader
Word Count: 1996
Prompt: Mystic AU - Same faced gods AU
Warnings: Reader survives two massacres
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni @imabeautifulbutterfly
A/N: So it took me a little bit to come up with an idea that I was happy with. And, while I'll never say migraines are good, taking two days off back-to-back seems to have helped me get my mojo back. Anyway, I hope this is close to what you wanted!
It’s hot.
So very hot.
You push a strand of sweaty hair out of your face and then kneel next to the small canoe that you’ve been repairing for the better part of the day. Confident that it’s as repaired as it needs to be, for what it’s going to be used for, you straighten and wave toward a man near the water.
He waves back and then says something to the teenager standing in front of him before he turns and jogs over to you. “This one all set?” He asks.
“Yeah, it’s not perfect, but it’ll work.”
He kneels and checks on your work before he nods once. “You didn’t do half bad. Good enough for someone who has never done this before.”
You shrug, “Thanks, I guess.”
He shoots you a sympathetic look, and lightly touches your shoulder, “We’re almost done here.”
“And then what?”
He averts his gaze, “I don’t know, kiddo. I really don’t. But, we’ll make it through this.” He squeezes your shoulder, “Will you go and make sure that the bows are all in working order?”
“Yeah, I can do that.”
“Good lass,” He pauses, “We’re going to be okay. You’ll see.”
You’re not sure you believe him. You’re not sure you want to believe him, but you don’t have the energy to argue with him. So you just nod and turn to trudge towards the hunter’s hut.
Three days ago, you joined your uncle and cousin on a fishing trip upriver. It was supposed to be a fun day, you were going to teach your cousin how to repair fishing nets, and your uncle was going to teach him how to find the best places to lay nets, and throw out a line.
A sudden violent storm forced the three of you to take refuge in a cave miles from home. The storm raged for hours, and you were only able to return to the fishing village after your uncle determined that it was safe to get back on the water.
You returned to the aftermath of a massacre.
Homes burned to the ground, market stalls shattered in pieces, and bodies strewn across the place.
There were no survivors.
But then, when the Empire decides that a place no longer deserves to exist, it’s quickly wiped off the map.
This brings it up to two massacres that you’ve survived since you were born. The first one happened when you were a child, your Uncle had always been a loud adversary against Palpatine and the Empire, and the Empire decided that his whole family needed to die for it.
That time you escaped with a missing arm and severe burns across the majority of your back. Though almost your entire family survived the massacre.
You suppose there was no way you were going to get that lucky twice.
Which brings you to now.
It’s not possible to bury the dead, the village is too close to the water, so the village practices water burials. When done right, they’re beautiful and tastefully done.
However, with only three people, and one of them under the age of 15, these funerals aren’t going to be beautiful or comforting. It’s just going to be another reminder of everything you’ve lost.
And you’ve lost everything.
You stand in front of the Hunters hut, your hands, both flesh and metal, are shaking, and all you want to do is close your eyes and pretend that the last week never happened, and you can open your eyes and your mom will be there again—
But that’s not possible anymore.
Your mom is dead. Just like your dad. And your brothers.
And you come to the stark realization that you can’t do this.
You drop your hand to your side and then pull your hands to your chest. You can’t do this. You can’t be here. You can’t stay here.
It’s too much. It’s all too much.
With that final thought, you turn on your heels and you run into the forest.
You’re vaguely aware of your uncle and your cousin calling your name, but you ignore them.
Maybe, if you run far enough fast enough, everything will stop hurting.
You run until your lungs are burning and your legs are aching, and then you keep going. You run and run and run until the moon rises over the horizon and your legs collapse under you.
A roll of thunder jerks you from your spiraling thoughts. Slowly, you push yourself to your aching feet and look around the dark forest, looking for shelter.
There.
Not far from where you finally collapsed is a massive tree. If nothing else, the branches will offer you some shelter from the weather. Though, as you approach the tree, you realize that there’s a hollow beneath the tree.
It’s risky. Very risky.
But a sharp crack of lightning loud enough to make you flinch encourages you to toss caution to the wind as you carefully lower yourself into the hollow.
The hollow is bigger than you expect.
The tunnel leads deeper and deeper beneath the tree until you trip over a tree root and fall into a room that can only be described as magic. If only because the moment you fall into the room, braziers light up with a warm flame.
Warm in the sense that the moment they light, the coldness that’s sunk into your very bones since the day you discovered the massacre lessens, and you feel like you can breathe for the first time in days.
You shift so that you’re sitting properly, and look around the room properly.
The walls seem to be made up of roots from the tree sitting over you, while the ground feels like it’s some kind of stone.
Most interesting is the bed nestled against the wall. The bed looks clean and the blankets look warm. And, even though the bed looks brand new, it doesn’t look like anyone has been down here aside from you in ages.
Thunder rumbles loudly above you and you nervously bite your lower lip, before slowly walking over and sitting on the bed. It’s softer than you expected, like something from another life, rather than a random bed found under a random tree miles from civilization, and you can’t help but run your hand across the soft, almost velvety, material of the blanket.
When was the last time you had the chance to enjoy something nice like this?
Years, probably.
Surely there’s no harm in sleeping here, just until the storm finishes. Just until you feel better. Until you feel like you can face your uncle without screaming at him for ruining your life.
You kick off your shoes and lay your head on the pillow, burying yourself in the soft blanket and the soft material, and drifting off into the best sleep you’ve had in years.
You wake the following morning feeling more rested than you’ve ever felt in your life.
There were no nightmares, no memories of burning skin or laughing monsters lurking in the shadows. You still feel like you’re in a dream, kind of.
You feel warm, floaty…and safe.
You can’t remember the last time you felt safe.
Slowly you sit up, though you really don’t want to, and you’re about to swing your legs off the bed when you notice the strange man sitting at a table that definitely wasn’t there the night before.
He graces you with a small smile, “Good morning,”
In your experience, a strange man in your sleeping quarters is not generally a good thing, but you aren’t afraid of him. Actually, you still feel very safe.
“...good morning.” You greet slowly.
His smile widens, and you can’t help but notice that he has a nice smile. “Did you sleep well?”
You consider him for a moment, “I did. Better than I have since I was an infant, probably.”
“Good, I’m glad.” He stands, and you note that he has a prosthetic arm, and both of his legs are prosthetics. “My name is Echo, this,” He gestures to the room with his prosthetic hand, “you can call it my temple.”
“Temple?” You ask as you swing your legs over the side of the bed. You notice his gaze drop to your legs, specifically the burn scars on your left leg. Normally you’d toss the blanket over your leg, and make a smart comment about how staring is rude, but you have the feeling that he isn’t judging you.
“Temple.” Echo agrees. He crosses the room to you and kneels at your feet, it feels wrong, somehow, but you can’t quite put into words why it feels so wrong, “I am the Patron God of the innocents who have been irreversibly harmed by war.”
His flesh hand brushes against the scars on your leg, and for once, you don’t jerk your leg away.
“I don’t understand.”
His smile is sad, “You summoned me.”
“I didn’t.”
He brings his hand up to cup your cheek, “Unlike my brothers, I can only be summoned under a very specific set of circumstances. Involving physical injury,” He lightly touches his prosthetic hand to yours, “and mental anguish.”
“That’s an awful way to have to be summoned.” You finally say.
He chuckles, “Well, because of the very specific requirements of my summoning, this is the first time I’ve been summoned.”
“I’m sorry, you must have been busy—”
“Not so busy that I couldn’t come when called,” There’s something strangely fond about the look on his face, and you can’t help but reach up and brush your fingers against the ports on the side of his head, “I also admit to being excited to finally having a priestess.”
That should make you nervous, right?
“But I didn’t summon you intentionally.”
“That’s been happening a lot lately,” Echo replies, amused.
“I don’t know anything about being a priestess.” You add with a small frown.
He lightly pulls you off the bed so that you’re sitting in his lap, and his forehead lightly presses against your own. “Close your eyes.” Immediately, and without really thinking about it, you do as he asks. “Good, very good. Do you feel it, cyare? There’s the beginning of a bond—”
He trails off as you find the thin thread connecting yourself to Echo. It’s thin and wispy, like a spider thread, though you have the feeling that it won’t break easily.
You lightly touch the thread and feel a surge of affection from Echo, and you can’t help the small sigh that falls from your lips. “Is that…you?”
“It is.”
“It feels like it should be stronger,” You murmur.
“It will become stronger, once we solidify the bond.” Echo promises, “That will come naturally, we don’t have to rush.”
You hum softly, although—
“We don’t have to, but you want to,” You notice, as you focus on the bond for a moment. His, slightly flustered, embarrassment washes through you, and you open your eyes to peer at him.
He looks slightly sheepish, “I’d like to get to know you before I take you to bed. Doesn’t mean that I don’t want you, though.”
Slowly you nod your understanding, and then you close your eyes again. Echo makes you feel warm and safe, and you could drown yourself in him if he let you.
His fingers are warm against your jaw, “Can I kiss you, cyare?” Echo murmurs, “I think it’s a good first step.”
You nod once and tilt your head slightly. He leans in and brushes his lips against yours in an innocent kiss, and then he kisses you properly, his hand settling firmly on the back of your neck while his other arm wraps securely around your waist.
Echo breaks the kiss and releases a contented sigh, “I’m going to take care of you, cyare.” He murmurs against your lips, “Everything is going to be alright. I promise.”
And, for the first time since childhood, you believe it.

Bark like you want it! -Ch. 6~AU Demon Slayer~
Pullin' out the coupe at the lot
Told 'em fuck 12, fuck SWAT
Bustin' all the bells out the box
I just hit a lick with the box
Had to put the stick in a box, mmh
Pour up the whole damn seal, I'ma get lazy
I got the mojo deals, we been trappin' like the '80s
She sucked a n*gga soul, gotta Cash App
Told 'em wipe a n*gga nose, say slatt, slatt
I won't never sell my soul, and I can back that
And I really wanna know, where you at, at?
I ground my hips with the beat of the music, flipping my hair and rotating my hips in a circular motion that made me smile as the music continued playing. I let my hands roam my body in happiness as I was engulfed in the ocean of people just wanting to forget their problems. I was one of them! I didn’t want to think about Akaza or Kyojuro or their lust of my body. No tonight it was all about me. A group of women came over, complimented my beauty and asked if they and their boyfriends could dance with me. It was a total of six.
I’ve seen then on campus before, so I was a bit familiar with who they were. I nodded and the men kept it respectful, only sensually touching their girlfriends who occasionally ground their hips and bodies on me of which I didn’t mind. Suddenly the music transitioned into 40 Cal by Hairatage and I was ready to really cut lose to the beat of the music!
I got some haters talking, they've been getting rookie nails They want to go to war, I chew 'em up just like my fingernails I roll with shadows, fuck the jail I can't afford the bail, but if I do they know I get it poppin' like the 40 Cal!
I curled my arms over my face, my braids over my face and popped my chest out immediately shaking my ass with the sharp rift of the music. Everyone was going crazy at the sharp music. The club was truly brought to life, the heat rising from everyone’s fast body movements and the smell now a mixture of different sweat. I wanted to drink tonight, I wanted to fuck tonight! I wanted to do whatever the fuck I wanted! As more relaxed dance music began to play, I began to move from the dance floor, letting my body droop against the bar. Since I needed to have my wits about me, I decided a water was the best I was going to get tonight. My heart was fluttering from utter happiness, the adrenaline overtaking me. My body was begging for more fun, the crowd felt as if it were calling me back into it.
I just needed to catch my breath. I pulled my phone from my dress’ pocket, happy it had a zip up fold so I would never lose it. I checked my messages.
Mitsuri: How are you doing?
Me: All good, shouldn’t be out too long. Hope your date is going well!
Mitsuri: Aw good I’m glad and yes it’s going well. Text me when you’re on your way home!
Me: Will do!
Kyojuro: Hey hope your night is going well. I heard you were going out to the club tonight. If things get weird with anyone there, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Me: Thanks, I’m good. Have a good weekend.
I did not need to ask him about his day, his evening or anything! His intentions were not pure, and I would refuse to think he could actually convince me otherwise.
Akaza: WYA
Me: The Unholy
Akaza: *Typing…* With who??
Me: Me, myself and I.
Akaza: Why didn’t you tell me you were going dancing! I would have loved to go dancing with you.”
I stiffened.
Me: That sounds like a date and I don’t do dates.
Akaza: So you’d rather go straight to the really sweaty work out then?
Me: I’m going back on the dance floor.
Akaza: I’m on my way over there.
Me: Fine then I’m leaving.
Akaza: Don’t be like that. Come on I can throw down! Besides nothing would make us both happier than to feel that ass grinding up on my-”
I tucked my phone back in my dress and looked at the bartender who was on the other side of the bar. He was a tall man with a handsome face and long flowing black hair.
“Hi, I’d like to pay for the water!” I replied waving to him. The man turned and smirked at me.
“On the house since you made my night with that hot dancing of yours!” he called out before winking at me. I smiled and dipped my head some in embarrassment.
“Thank you!” I called out. However, a flash of long black hair and a big grin is all I could make out before me.
“Hey cutie, how ‘bout I buy you the next round!” a boisterous voice said. Standing before me was a tall man in a black fishnet tank and green baggy jeans was leaning over the bar, cheek planted in his palm. I blinked rapidly.
“You wish to buy me another round of water?” I asked. He snickered.
“Of course! Gotta stay hydrated if you plan to dance again!” he said. “The name’s Karaku! I see you a lot on campus, so that makes us classmates in a way. What’s your name?”
Our campus was pretty big how exactly did he see me?
“Yara!” I said over the heavy music which only made the man lean in a bit so he could hear
“Yara? Wow that’s a pretty name! Never heard it before! So that’s makes you my first!” he said. I gave a polite smile however I wasn’t sure where this conversation was going, and I really wanted to dance to a few more songs before it was time to call a cab. “Say you have some really pretty hair, Yara, it makes you look like a goddess! Black women have the most exotic hair styles!”
And now he’s lost my attention and my tense face at his compliment told me so. I didn’t like the word exotic being used to describe me or anything on me. Made me feel weird.
“Thanks!” I said stiffly before leaning off the bar and trying to wave a goodbye to him, before he caught my hand.
“Say, I’m here tonight with three of my brothers! We’ve been studying hard cramming for the upcoming midterms you know how it is, and we were wondering if maybe you’d like to dance with us!” he offered before point pointing over my shoulder toward the very end of the bar where three men, identical to Karaku, were looking at me with different emotions on their faces. One looked to be glaring slightly, nodding his head up at me as if saying ‘sup with his eyes. He wore a red tank and black jeans. I could see the two sleeve tattoos that covered his muscular arms.
Waving happily beside him was a man in a black tank top under a yellow jacket and brown shorts. His wrists were wrapped with yellow bands and yellow beaded necklace sat loose on his neck. Beside him was a nervous, almost sad looking man in a blue and white striped uniform and he looked almost nervous.
Woah, I had never seen a set of quadruplets before, and I couldn’t help but look from then back to Karaku who just smirked.
“Wow, and all four of you want to dance with me, why?” I asked. There were many cute and attractive women in the club tonight and it made me suspicious that a group of men wanted to just dance with me when there were so many other options.
“Absolutely. The way you moved on the dancefloor was just stunning. My brothers and I couldn’t take our eyes off you! You seem like a lot of fun, Yara! So how’s about it, one more dance before the night ends?” he asked.
Suddenly, a beat popped in my ears from above and my eyes widened as well as my smile as the remix version of Enya’s Only Time, Crunk in Time, was playing. I couldn’t wait anymore I had to pop off tonight. I smirked at Karaku.
“If you and your brothers can keep up tonight, then sure, one dance.” I replied before pushing off the bar, taking his hand and guiding him to the dance floor, my hips dipping and swaying from side to side with the beat of the music. I noticed the three brothers moving off the bar and following us to the dance floor and slowly approached me with pleased looks on their faces as they each stood in a perfect square around me.
“I’m Sekido!” the brother in red said harshly making me jump a bit, but I smiled nonetheless from genuine amusement. He stood in front of me.
“I’m Urogi the fun one!” the brother in yellow said as he stood on the left of me.
“Ha as if!” Karaku shouted from behind me, his hand already palming my bottom which I didn’t mind.
“And I’m Aizetsu!” the brother in blue said on my right. He looked nervous almost.
“I’m Yara!” I said with a smile noticing how all four of these men smelled really good. I liked that. The men were moving their hips with the beat of the music as was I.
I began to move my hips in a circular motion so a part of me would graze each of the men’s body giving them each an inch of attention. I began to silently lip sync Enya’s part smiling at all of the men’s amused faces. The looks didn’t look malicious. Everyone around us was swaying themselves waiting for the real fun to start.
“Who can say where the road goes, where the day flows only time. Who can say where the road goes, where the day flows only time (SHAKE THAT-)
My mind was gone, captured by the beat of the music as everyone threw their hands up and shook their bodies giving their all to the music.
“GET CRUNK WITH IT, GET LOOSE WITH IT!” everyone sang shaking their hips and grinding against the partners. Karaku and Sekido kept their hands on hips grinding their hips on me when they could, while I had my hands on Aizetsu’s and Urogi’s cheeks smiling and laughing with them as they moved their bodies against my sides.
“SHAKE THAT ASS REAL FAST THEN DROP! SHAKE IT LIKE A SALTSHAKER! SHAKE IT LIKE A SALTSHAKER! SHAKE IT LIKE A SALTSHAKER!” people sang and shake it I did. I could feel my ass vibrating on command of the music digging into Karaku’s crotch.
“Fuck yes fucking shake it Yara!” the green dressed brother yelled behind. I let my hand move through my braids moving it to one side of my neck as I felt a pair of lips press into my neck from the man behind me. I told my mind to take note of it, but I found it hard from the hands moving over my body and beneath the top of my dress! I gasped realizing it was Sekido’s hand cupping one of my breasts and before I could attempt to push back, which would only get me blocked by Karaku, I feel the angry man’s tongue going down my throat. I realize my wrists are being held down by Urogi and Aizetsu, stopping me from pushing back against the man in front of me.
He's dominating my mouth, not letting my tongue get away from his as he explored every inch of my mouth.
“Sorry, Yara, but we had to see for ourselves what was so special about you!” Urogi said happily. I finally had the courage to bite the tongue that was invading me and Sekido leaned back with a growl.
“Naughty bitch bit me!” he snarled.
“Yes, Akaza was speaking so highly of you, I am sad to admit I was actually getting a little jealous.” Aizetsu told. What the fuck! Akaza… Oh damn these guys must be a part of the Kizuki.
“So, how’s about it Yara, want to play with us for a little bit? I promise you’ll enjoy every… inch of us.” Karaku purred, his tongue sliding up the shell of my ear. I stiffened heavily feeling that the grips on my wrists would not be loosened. Sekido wasn’t even going to wait fo a response because his hand came up to grip my throat as his face leaned in to mine to kiss me again.
But my feet acted fast, kicking him right in the groin.
“FUCK!” he snarled in pain as he was now caught up in the wave of dancing and being shoved into the crowd
I felt the grips on my wrists loosen and I used this time to move into the crowd and let the many shoulders push me about. I was looking for a way out of the crowd, the exit, and the four brother as a means to get away from them. I pushed my way from the crowd and pressed myself to the wall. I quickly grabbed my phone and texted fast.
Me: 911 (You shared your location)
Kyojuro: On my way! Find somewhere to lay low until I get there!
I could see Aizetsu coming from the crowd and hurried down the closest to me. I was looking for an emergency exit if anything, but I was luckily coming up on the front of the club. Where I could hide once out there, I didn’t know. The Unholy wasn’t a big place and it felt they would easily know I was in the lady’s restroom if I tried to hide there, and I didn’t need to get cornered there! Just as I was pushing myself out the door, I was immediately caught by someone I didn’t want to see.
“Yara! Wow your hair looks amazing!” he snapped catching my shoulders. I wanted to pull back, but he wouldn’t let me go.
“Please let me go, Akaza, I need to leave!” I said hurriedly looking over my shoulders. They could come at any minute! Okay, I couldn’t hide my fear through anger any longer. I was scared and I was scared shitless. I tore from Akaza’s hold and began to move down the sidewalk putting distance between me and the club. Akaza was speeding up behind me taking my hand.
“Hey woah what the fuck happened?” he yelled in panic. I needed to get out of here. I didn’t want his hand touching me. He’s one of them, they’re one of them! As I walked, a familiar shade of yellow was skipping in front of me.
“Yara, I found you!” Urogi said happily and I gasped as I saw red, blue and green appearing. I quickly back tracked and jumped behind Akaza.
“You stay the fuck away from me! All of you or I swear to God I’ll scream!” I threatened. Akaza looked at me then the four men who were walking up to him calmly and collectively.
“What the fuck did you do!” he snapped. Sekido just growled with annoyance.
“The cunt bit me and kicked me in my dick!” he snarled.
“Oh, calm down, Akaza, we were just trying to test her, to make sure she was being loyal to you and to the gang is all.” Karaku said with a purr.
“She attracts a lot of male attention whether she knows it or not. It’d be very upsetting if another guy tried to step in on what’s yours.” Aizetsu said with a pout.
“You’re all insane!” I snapped trying to step away from the group, but Akaza took my hand and wouldn’t let go as he held his other hand up.
“Okay can we all just calm the fuck down! Why the hell were you four out anyways when you were supposed to be… running errands?” he snarled. I could tell errands was code for something else. Sekido scoffed angrily.
“We earned. The club was our last errand. We saw your little toy here dancing like she’s single and couldn’t help our curiosity and thought we'd join in a dance!” he explained.
“The fuck is that supposed to mean! It seems like you wanted to do more than just dance!” I snapped still struggling from Akaza. He looked at me angrily noticing me pulling back.
“Will you please stop that!” he yelled before looking at the brothers. “Your business was not with her; you all should have left her alone!”
“Oh come on, you shared your last toy with us, we figured she was a new one to share with us!” Urogi told. My eyes widened.'
"Mother fucker." Akaza said shooting him a glare so dark, it almost caused me to miss the sound of tires screeching around the corner and now we all looked as I saw a black 2022 Toyota Tundra was jumping the curb of the sidewalk making us all jump back. I followed Akaza’s hand to the hem of his jacket and down to the back of his pants and the way he gripped the handle of his gun made my eyes pop as he pulled it from his waist band.
Gun! GUN! GUN! DANGER, DANGER, DANGER!
Popping out of the bed of the truck was Kyojuro and Sanemi, with pistols in their hands, all the while, Uzui’s window was down in the driver’s side, a very large gun in his hand that looked like it fired multiple rounds. Obanai’s body was sitting outside on the passenger window with two Glock pistols in his hands.
I looked at the four brothers to see guns in their hands pointed at the truck, and I felt my mind was ready to explode.
I noticed Kyojuro and Akaza’s guns were on each other, and I could tell they were waiting to take each other out, however I was in the line of fire.
I just wanted to dance and maybe fuck tonight. I wanted to have a wild and fun night and then go home and sleep the weekend away. Why was that so fucking hard!

Wandy Lore!
(Incase I never fully explained. This is going to contain a lot of lore and some of it may be a ramble I'm sorry in advance. But if you'd like to know more about this lil creature, then please do read):
So basically, after another unsuccessful day of invading due to Wander and Sylvia getting in the way, Hater goes into one of those funk modes again like in The Funk episode but is actually starting to question if he's doing shit wrong and Peepers is also frustrated.
Not much of a Funk but he's getting there and he decides to do a pitch meeting, like in the brainstorm episode and just brainstorm ideas until something sticks and gets both of their mojos back. Hater begins mentioning about wanting folks to see Wander as untrustworthy cause he'd like to laugh at how everyone fucking hates him. And Peepers makes a comment on Destroying his reputation, but the both of them couldn't do it since everyone knew them and the propaganda wouldn't work out in their favour.
And a mention of a clone is brought up by the both of them by Hater in a more "if only he had a twin that we could make evil" and Peeper's talking about a clone.
And that eventually sticks as the both of them start talking about how they can get an exact copy of Wander and Peepers brings up the DNA.
Eventually a few months in and Peepers in his lab is putting the DNA samples into the experiment, using a strang of fur/hair off of Wander that was on Haters cloak cause the bitch is always on him. And (idk what DNA Hater uses, someone said bone marrow at one point, or spit? But uh, let's pretend he doesn't say how he gave DNA) and Peepers adding his DNA in too cause he doesn't want the clone coming out like an idiot.
A couple of months go by and the planets are starting to become more of life again after dominator rain of terror and thankfully no one suspects a thing in the skullship, even the Watchdogs haven't a clue about what's being made. Only Peeper's and Hater know of the clone being made and it's whereabouts on the skullship. The clone grows slowly but eventually reaches to a child form, and Hater being an impatient man throws a fit shouting at Peepers on why the stupid clone is taking FOREVER to make.
Cue a whole fit/tantrum, lightning bolts accidentally strike the test tube and it shatters, thankfully the clone is fine and opens its eyes, just staring whilst the two adults are freaking out. (Still working on the first meetings and stuff) the clone is just silent the whole time, watching the two and blinking, not really doing much even after Peepers suggested about scrapping it and making a new one but mentioned that would be even longer of a wait now that the test tube is broken. Hater gives in and agrees to keeping this one since it technically looks like Wander, just a little shorter and with green eyes, (but they could always just use blue contacts).
The clone is either referred to "it" "wander clone" "thing" "clone" or "that" and is only taught on how to act when out on invasions. I imagine that the clone stays in the lab most of the time and doesn't exactly go out of the room unless needed for an invasion and it's working with the plan of giving Wander a bad reputation. The clone rarely speaks but when it does, it's usually if it's hungry or wants to know about something it saw whilst outside or just for knowledge, which Peepers is happy to indulge in. Eventually though, the clone begins questioning itself and it's appearance, it had never met this Wander it hears so much about but it does know that it hates him.
Out of the influence maybe, but mostly because it had to pretend to be it. So if the creators of it hated Wander and the clone was an exact copy of him, did they hate him too?
A couple of weeks go by and the clone begins experimenting himself, one morning rolling out of bed for another training session with Commander Peepers and wakes up, looks in the mirror, seeing his fur all messy and puffed up and ends up staring again but this time with a genuine smile cause it's not like looking at a stranger anymore. So he keeps his fur messy for that day, Peepers let's him get away with it cause no invasions are happening as of now, mostly planning. So the clone sees it as a sign of being able to continue being like this whilst inside the skullship, even asking for certain things in his room, which Peepers obliges to along with Hater since the clone is doing good at his job. They both know that it's a child version of Wander and therefore set boundaries and rules, which he follows..for now.
At some point though, the clone began asking if he could have a different name and not be referred to as a clone. Which takes a long time of being called a preferred name, Hater coming up with the name Wandy and Wandy sticking to it since he liked the sound of it. It's not completely away from the Wander person but it's still different in a way that works for him.
He actually gets his lil heeled boots as a present for a proper successful invasion after helping Peepers with the planning on one and asking if he could take the lead to show how much he's learnt from the both of them. Both Peepers and Hater (despite not being the one to give it him) contributed and gifted the kid the boots, which Wandy is deeply DEEPLY attached to and would throw a fit if he lost them cause they mean so much to him.
Eventually he starts becoming more and more childlike and enjoying being evil just like the two adults! They eventually begin to get a bit more lenient with him and treat him more like a kid that causes trouble but still gets his work done, and have noticed that despite his fluffy appearance and that they can see the difference, a lot of others around the galaxy still view him as a copy of Wander therefore they're fine with the appearance and don't force him to dress like Wander anymore. He also gets his own bedroom at some point, but it takes a while to make and such. Other than that, he just lives to continue working with his creators(or as he calls them dad's) which Hater is still getting used to, as well as Peepers but eventually take the roles of it more seriously as the years go by.
(Sorry for the huge ramble)
A little bit of lore art too! Planning on colouring this very soon!

Don't Go Into the Woods-watching:
Post-Peace of Mind is SO funny. We saw that Dean and Cas have been desperately tag-teaming, trying to support Jack and Sam for WEEKS.
(Dean, who probably needs rest from the whole Michael ordeal and Cas, who's got the looming Empty deal over his head. Both of them are worried about Sam, but especially about Jack. Sam remains oblivious, which we'll see beautifully on display here.)
We find Sam sitting in the kitchen in the dark...by himself:
Dean, who has apparently been up for AWHILE already, comes in to get some coffee. He throws some easy banter at Sam, and then checks on Sam, who makes this face at him when he asks if he's up for working:
<8]
Important note: It doesn't really occur to Sam to check on Dean here. Or Cas. Or Jack. Because Sam is ready to go, he assumes Dean and Cas and Jack are ready to go.
Sam is so stupidly puppy-dog happy, that's he's like YAY I'LL GRAB CAS. And Sam may be oblivious, Cas is stressed to the fuckin' max, actually.
We'll learn soon that Cas is stressed because he witnessed Jack's amorality re: the snake, and he's gone off to look for a hail-Mary to save Jack on his own.
Even though Cas's not said anything directly about the death of the snake, Dean senses that Cas is unsettled, which makes him unsettled, too, heightening his fears about Jack.
Sam-> ???? WHY???
*Hilariously, he's staring at Dean like HEY IS IT YOUR FAULT DEAN DID YOU FIGHT OR SOMETHING???*
This also gives big 12x19 vibes with Sam's whole: HEY WHAT IS WRONG WITH CaS I dOn'T UnDerStand????
Aside// Yay, another point in the Cas-is-a-known-stir-crazy category, because Sam and Dean both (mostly) accept his explanation.
Dean looks away from Sam for a second because yeah, he's bothered by Cas leaving, and he doesn't want Sam to know that. (Cas is the one who's co-supporting Sam and Jack right now; the one Dean has been leaning on.)
The funny thing is, even though he's not bothered in the same way, Sam's actually bothered, too. Cas is, after all, the one who was mentoring Sam most successfully about losing his army.
Dean sees Sam's reaction and moves to making an explanation for Cas's departure, taking up for Cas, "We all need to stretch our legs." And Sam drops it.
Sam-> ....ok fine. THEN JACK! :DDDDDDD
SAM-> Yeah this will be FuUuN! Work fixes everything and everyone:
{=D
DEAN: Uh...
I am trying to support you bro, but no.
SAM -> >=(
It does not occur to him that Jack might need time to adjust, too. Nupe.
DEAN: And I'm sure he's good, but Jack's got his mojo back. His powers have gotten us in trouble in the past-- the security guard. So I just want to make sure that, you know, he's right before we put him back out there,
And here we have the Dean-and-Cas anxiety on full display.
Something Sam isn't EVEN picking up on.
Not Cas's nervousness. And certainly not Dean's.

Oversharing with 15 answers to 15 questions! Tagged by @crayonurchin
Are you named after anyone? Nah, I picked my own name cos I wanted something neutral-ish on account of I suck at gender.
When was the last time you cried? I watched through the entirety of Cowboy Bebop recently and there are several bits in it that always make me tear up.
Do you have kids? No, and no plans for any.
What sports do you play/have you played? Nothing in a decade or more, unless walking counts (and I don't do nearly as much of that as I should)
Do you use sarcasm? Entirely too much in person, but not so much in writing where it is harder to discern.
What is the first thing you notice about people? Demeanour and vibe.
What is your eye color? Dull green.
Scary movies or happy endings? I mostly prefer movies with a happy ending, though a good scare now and then is fun.
Any talents? I can bake a potato in 20 minutes using nothing but the power of my mind and also the microwave.
Where were you born? Somewhere in, around, or near Glasgow. No more specific than that.
What are your hobbies? Dithering about in video games, and sometimes when the mood takes me, i draw a horse critter or two.
Do you have any pets? If the local pigeons count then yes, a whole flock of semi-feral pets. Otherwise no.
How tall are you? 5' 3", aka a bit of a shortarse.
Favorite subject in school? Honestly of all the thing I done in school, tech drawing and home economics were the most fun subjects, I wish I had pursued them once I could pick my own subjects for the year instead of choosing more science and computing related things that just burnt me out in the end.
Dream job? I want to live on a boat somewhere quiet and make art of some sort for a living, but I don't have a boat, or any real skill with art. Might be working on the boat side of things, but I have no mojo to work on the art side of things, so this is probably just a pipe dream really.
Tagging @themarvelhorse, @smrtz, @dracini, @azuki-beans and @strawberrydakry cos I've seen y'all in my activity recently and I appreciate y'all for sticking around!
If you do chose to do this, remember to throw in some red herrings to confound any online identity thieves looking for identifiable information.

PARTIES: The Allgoods, @longislandcharm TIMING: July 29th (Evening/Night at Mack's Mojo Dojo Casa House) SUMMARY: The Allgoods and Winter come over for a Barbie themed sleepover at Mack's house. Good wholesome fun is had by all! :) WARNINGS: Unsanitary tw (what's new), mental health tw, alcohol abuse tw
Mackenzie was excited for the sleepover. She had made invitations. Made sure there was enough food for everyone. Had blankets and pillows at the ready. It was going to be a great night, and something she had needed for a long time. And with Winter having somewhat forgiven her, it was almost going to be like being back home. The invitation had said 6:30 pm, but at this point, as long as people showed up, it didn’t matter.
—
Alex was still surprised to receive a party invite that was extended specifically to her. She supposed she was actually doing the whole making friends thing now, which while scary, was kind of nice even if the car ride over had been a fairly quiet affair. Not that she minded all that much. Staring out the window while listening to Phoebe Bridgers was in fact a vibe. When they arrived at Mack's, she approached everyone who rode in Ariadne's car, keeping particularly close to Cass. When they walked up, she appreciated all the pink decor. A Barbie-themed sleepover was probably filling in the gap for some missed childhood experience. She waved to Mack as entered. "Hey," she greeted, "Thanks for throwing a sleepover... and inviting me. Hope you don't mind, I brought my guitar!"
—
Ever since Metzli's announcement that they were leaving, Cass had been... well, maybe down wasn't quite a strong enough word for it. She was devastated. Everything felt heavy and gloomy, the same way it always did when someone left. But this time, she had something she'd never had in the past to soften the blow: friends. The car ride with Nora, Aria, Wynne, and Alex had been quiet, but not uncomfortable. Cass already felt a little bit better just being with them. As they pulled up to Mack's house, she prepared to put on a happy face for the evening. The party wouldn't fix her... but it might distract her. She offered Mack a small, uncertain smile as they approached. "Hi," she mumbled, hoping the movie star wasn't still angry with her for the mime fiasco.
—
Ariadne hadn't entirely expected to play chauffeur to anyone except for Wynne, but Ariadne had been more than happy to drive Nora, Cass, and Alex. Especially since Nora and Cass (and Wynne) especially seemed miserable. She did her best to tap into who she was before everything, and had tried to cheer them up, with purple slushies and ham and avoiding overly peppy music. She pulled up to Mack's house and gave her a wave. "I - thanks for inviting me, even if we haven't talked a lot other than the whole dance thing I - this is nice of you." She wrapped her hand around Wynne's waist and pulled them close to her, pressing a kiss on their lips.
—
Nora didn't want to go. Didn't want anything. Wanted to sit in the pool of her own self-pity, writhing in anger and confusion. But Nora also needed something to grab onto, to believe. So when her friends asked her to go, more than one, she pulled herself out of the hell hole of her own creation and got into the car when Ariadne came to pick them up. Nora should have known this was a mistake when they pulled up to Mackenzie Ross's pink-decorated house. She shoved her hands in her pocket and forced herself not to think of it. "Sup." She mumbled, shoving past the front door and walking into the manor.
—
Milo hadn't been to a sleepover in... Well, it had been a while. And while he hadn't been feeling the best lately, he had somehow landed an invitation to a sleepover at Mackenzie Ross' house. There was no way he wasn't going to that, especially since Mack had been so nice to him so far. He was a bit nervous about who else would be there, but the last party hadn't gone terribly, and he could use some fun, honestly. He arrived at the massive manor home armed with some snacks and drinks, and an overnight bag. "Hey," Milo greeted the group. "Thanks for the invite, Mack. Your place looks amazing!"
—
When Mackenzie got the alert on her phone that people were pulling into the driveway, Mack couldn't help but let out a squeal of joy; reminiscent of her old self. All she had wanted was a nice evening where it didn't feel like life...death was complete shit. Already dressed in her pink pjs ready for the night, she went outside and started to greet everyone. It was like she was a completely different person, "Hey guys! So glad you could all make it! There's a few more people coming, I think, but go ahead and go inside and make yourself comfortable." She had been surprised to see Nora show up, but the past was the past, and she was trying to turn over a new leaf with the girl.
—
Alex smiled as Mack spoke despite the fact she felt a little nervous. A slumber party was unchartered territory and she wasn't sure what all this would entail. The decorations did fit the mood she assumed their host was going for. She was pretty sure she had just literally walked into Barbie World. "You really went full on Barbie Dreamhouse and it's giving," she told Mack. The effort was awesome and so was the fact they were all hanging out again. "Hey, Milo," she greeted as he approached with a wave. She still felt a little out of place, but she was surrounded by familiar faces who were becoming more familiar.
—
Winter hadn't been so sure about showing up at Mack's place for some party since she wasn't exactly over the girl disappearing on her but what else did she have to do? The ghost on her tail was also unenthused about this whole night which was clearly written on his face. Too bad that made Winter want to go even more. She loved to annoy him. Pulling up to her house, she rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath about this being typical Mack before making her way inside to find blobs of pink obscuring her vision. "Don't say shit about me being late. This is an assault to the eyes by the way." She gestured around them before moving further into the room towards the others she didn't know. "Winter...nice to meet you all."
—
"Winter." Nora repeated the name without much affect in her name. Most people here were familiar. Milio was here, Nora wondered if today was the day she should scare him. It could be fun, but the more she thought about it, the effort to scare someone seemed like a lot of work. Maybe she'd sit at this party and be normal, and do normal party things like stand around and eat chips from the chip bowl. "Where are the snacks?" Nora asked, disappearing into the first doorway she saw to try and find the kitchen.
—
The inside of the manor was even more impressive. Milo had only ever lived in apartments, this place was an actual dream house. He was relieved to see the familiar faces, especially those of Cass and Alex. Even if the latter had made him eat soap, he had become somewhat friendly with them. He smiled at them, offering a friendly wave to the newcomer. "Nice to meet you, too. I'm Milo."
—
Alex waved. "Hey, Winter!" Her tone almost matched the vibe of the decorations. She still felt worried after her meeting with Nora in the mines, but by all indications, she'd been truthful when she said that Alex had helped. There wasn't anything in her mannerisms that was especially cold toward her either. She'd gotten the same characteristic monotone from Nora that everyone else had gotten though the bugbear had quickly gone to find snacks. So she returned her focus to the group around her and gave Milo a playful grin. "Promise I won't make you eat soap this time, bestie."
—
"I'm Ariadne," she gave a nod to Winter. "This is Wynne. My partner." She didn't let her hand leave theirs. "I brought a lot of candy, if anybody wants? I'm not the biggest fan of salty snacks. I'm much more of a sweets girl." Said with perhaps more enthusiasm than was necessary, perhaps, but she'd gotten decent at faking that this past year. The house was exceptional. She'd never been in a place this big (at least invited on purpose). "Hey Milo," she offered him a small smile.
—
Milo laughed. "I'd appreciate that, thanks." He greeted Wynne and Ariadne. "I also have salty covered," he said, holding up the bags of snacks. "Also, rum, if anyone wants drinks."
—
Mackenzie followed everyone inside, "Thanks, Alex. I just wanted to match the vibes you know? Thought we could all use something fun." All things considered in this town...She heard Nora ask about the snacks, "You're headed down the right path, Nora. Just keep going." She had heard Winter's snarky ass comment and was honestly surprised that she had showed up after their meeting at the drive-in, "Fuck you too, Bestie." She moved into the living room and somewhat relaxed, "It's been a while since I've thrown a sleepover, so if there's any games or whatever...throw 'em out. This is a night of fun, even for you Winter, you crotchety old bitch."
—
"Nice to meet you, Winter!" It felt like a battle to glue that smile onto her face, but Cass liked to think it was a convincing one. It wouldn't fool Nora or Alex or Ariadne, but it might fool some of the people who didn't know Cass quite as well. "I'll take some snacks, definitely! And, um, games would be fun. I know we did truth or dare last time, so maybe never have I ever to keep things fresh?"
—
Miyeon wasn't surprised that she was fashionably late. For someone with meticulous organization and a well-penned planner, she still found herself running late for pretty much everything that wasn't her morning show. She was surprised she got an invite to this but she was pretty sure it had to do with Mack trying to keep Miyeon from digging too far into her. Like you don't tattle on your friends or whatever so that made sense enough. "Hey,' she said as she peeked through the door. "I brought nachos. And sangria. It's pink! Well, the sangria. Not that nachos"
—
Winter waved absentmindedly at everyone introducing themselves. She'd never remember all these names. The mention of all the snacks hadn't peaked her interest until she heard"rum" and then later "nachos" and "sangria." Her ears perked at that, the girl ignoring Mack's digs at her age as she smiled at the two who had brought the alcohol. "Anyone with liquor is immediately a friend. I'm always down for Never Have I Ever if it's the drinking game version."
—
"We can do the drinking game version," Cass agreed. Her experience with alcohol was fairly limited --- technically, she wasn't even old enough to have it in the States --- but she thought it would probably help with the vibes here.
—
Seeing everyone mingling made her happy, but there seemed to be a certain sadness hanging in the air. They needed something to pep up the night. Mackenzie wasn't sure what was going on with everyone, because most of the time she lived under a rock, but Cass and Winter's idea sounded fun, despite not being able to drink or taste anything. "Yeah, let's do it! I'll go get more alcohol." She wasn't against spicing things up as long as people could have some fun.
—
"I could drink," Nora called from down the hallway. Alcohol didn't seem to work for Emilio, maybe it would work for her.
—
"I - don't really drink, but..." Ariadne, "my cousin says I should live a bit more, so... sure. Or I'll just stick with Dr. Pepper, or something like that." The nerves were setting in, now, and even though she knew that she was here to support Wynne, she found herself incredibly grateful that they were here, too.
—
Miyeon followed Nora towards where the snacks seemed to be and set down the nachos and the jug of sangria. "Hey, Nora," she said with a wave. "If you want a drink, rose sangria is a good place to start." She winked and grabbed a solo cup and started to fill it up for herself. "Never have I ever could definitely be interesting with this group."
—
Nora gave a slight shrug, filling a solo cup up with sangria. She downed it in one and filled it up again. "Never have I ever kissed someone in public." She stated, knowing full well Ariadne and Wynne had just kissed in public.
—
Alex threw a smile in Miyeon's direction when she entered the manor. It was shaping up to be a good crew and all of the faces were familiar, which made relaxing easier. Rum would also do the trick in that department. "Drinking game never have I ever it is," she exclaimed. She turned to Cass and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Any drink preferences? I can grab one for you."
—
"Whatever you're having," Cass replied to Alex with a soft smile that was a touch more genuine than the one she'd been sporting so far. "I'm not really picky." And she didn't really know enough about alcohol to know her preferences.
—
Ariadne raised an eyebrow, once again thankful she couldn't blush. She grabbed a cup of something, hoping Chance would be proud of her, and downed half of it. "Never have I ever... snuck out of my house without my parents knowing."
—
"Never have I ever is always fun," Milo nodded in a agreement. There was something in the air, vibes slightly off. "You can definitely stick to soda if you're more comfortable," he said to Ariadne. "Can also just add a tiny bit." He shrugged, giving her a smile. "I don't usually drink much myself."
—
Miyeon laughed. "Alright, damn. Make sure you have some water, too," she said as she watched Nora inhale a cup of sangria. She did in fact have to take a drink at her first declaration. "Uh yeah, no shame in that one." And then again, Ariadne was making a statement that had Miyeon drinking again. "Come on, give me one second to breathe oh my god."
—
Nora stares at Ariadne. Did Ariadne know she was a runaway? Nora hadn't mentioned that, had she? She downed the drink again. Running away was sneaking out to an extreme, after all. A buzz pulsed over her skin. Maybe things weren't so bad.
—
Mackenzie left the room and went downstairs to get more alcohol in a spare fridge that didn't contain her food. She had hoped people were enjoying themselves, but she couldn't really tell anymore. Maybe it hadn't been the right time for a sleepover.
—
Alex grabbed two solo cups full of sangria for her and Cass, immediately taking a sip from her own for Nora's statement. It was a little convenient that Ariadne had just said hers too. No one would know which she was drinking for and who didn't love a little mystery. "Here you go," she said taking a seat next to Cass. She looked around the circle and tried to think of a good thing she'd never done. "Never have I ever eaten soap," she grinned, knowing that taking a sip from his drink early on in the night would be way better than eating soap.
—
Wynne took a drink because they did sneak out that one time :/.
—
Milo mixed some of the rum with soda, and quickly took two drinks, catching up.
—
Cass took a sip for Nora's statement, lowering the cup as Ariadne made hers. Hard to sneak out without your parents knowing when you'd never known your parents to begin with. Swallowing, she shifted. "Um, never have I ever left the movie theater before the credits finished playing. Gotta catch the extra scene. You know?"
—
Winter followed the nachos. They looked delicious as well as the pink sangria that was placed next to them and soon she had a solo cup in one hand as she ate with the other. She eyed the room, noticing that a lot of these people didn't seem so into the idea until she heard the first couple of Nevers uttered, prompting her to drink both times. "Sangria's good...props on that." The third Never uttered made her raise her eyebrows though, making a point to lower her cup.
—
"Never eaten soap, but Lush has the prettiest soap I think I've ever seen. Like, way prettier than most soaps," Ariadne looked over to Cass apologetically, "I have, but I won't ever again, okay?" She nestled herself against Wynne, running her fingers against their arm.
—
Nora took another drink. She'd left movies halfway through the movie because they were boring. Her eyes followed Winter as she came to stand near Miyeon and her. "Yeah, the sangria is good." Nora agreed. There was a light flush pressed against her cheeks. Maybe tonight wasn't so bad.
—
Miyeon noted who was taking a drink and who wasn't. "Looks like we have a lot of rebels in here. Good to know." She smiled. She also took a drink at Cass's statement. She was very sweet and maybe a little naive. Miyeon made a note to look out for her if the moment arose. Ariadne, too. Didn't have to drink for the soap one at least. "Never have I ever... gone viral online."
—
Milo: And quickly added a third, throwing a playful look at Alex. "I see how it is." He took another drink at Cass'. "Never have I ever gone skinny dipping."
—
Nora blankly stared at Miyeon. A new suspicion rising. She downed the drink again. As she went to refill her cup, she wondered if the world was spinning a little. Some sticky alcoholic liquid fell on her hand, she stared at it for a minute, trying to decide how she was going to deal with this new and quickly evolving problem.
—
Wynne leaned against Ariadne and drank despite it not applying to them. They just wanted another sip.
—
Cass took another sip of her drink at Miyeon's statement. Technically it was Magma who'd gone viral --- a short video clip that the internet later decided was definitely fake --- but Cass was pretty sure it still counted. Milo's statement actually drew a quiet giggle from her, and she finished the rest of her drinks. Nymphs didn't tend to see much importance in bathing suits.
—
Alex took a drink at Milo's statement. She was pretty sure rinsing off in rivers and lakes when they didn't have a place to stay counted as skinny dipping anyway. She noticed Cass drink at going viral and looked at her curiously. That was a story for another time, she was certain. "Never have I ever seen a movie in theaters."
—
Mackenzie came back upstairs with more bottles and sat them on the counter. Pouring herself a solo cup full of the strongest liquor at the party, she went and took a seat somewhere near the circle. She noticed Miyeon had arrived, but prayed nothing happened that would give the girl scoop for her next radio show, "Never have I ever won an Oscar."
—
Wynne asked, "What is skinny dipping?"
—
"Never have I ever been a f-" Nora managed to swallow the word as her slowed mind realized that this was maybe something she shouldn't say. Her mind stalled, blanking on what she was supposed to say. "Uh. Been a uh. Movie theater." She took a drink because she had been to a movie theater like Alex stated. Then Mack was stating never have I ever won an Oscar, cause once more everyone in the room needed to know she was a famous actress. Nora's blank gaze turned to Mack. Who was supposed to drink to that? Herself?
—
Three more drinks down and Winter had to wonder how young these people actually were. She was only two years older than Mack but suddenly she felt like the crypt keeper. Still, she wasn't throwing out any of her Nevers just yet as she got a feel for who she was dealing with. Her eyes drifted to her ghoul who looked so bored he could die for a second time and Winter snorted softly before looking around at the others.
—
Alex laughed. "Unless someone in this room is secretly William Bowery, I don't think anyone here has an Oscar. Maybe an uncle Oscar or something."
—
Cass refilled her drink only to take another sip at Alex's statement, flashing her a curious look. They'd have to change that, wouldn't they? "I don't think anyone here has won an Oscar," she agreed with a quiet laugh. Looking to Wynne, she added, "Skinny dipping is swimming without any clothes on."
—
Miyeon also noted who was taking a sip during her own statement. "A room full of internet superstars, too." She noticed that Nora was looking a little wobbly. "Hey, you might want to slow down a little there," she said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "I don't want to hold anyone's hair back tonight if I don't have to." Wait, was she about to say the word fox just then? Alright, Miyeon was already planning to find a hair tie, they were gonna need it.
—
Wynne nodded at Cass and took a long drink. Though they weren't sure what an Oscar was, they had never won one.
—
Ariadne pressed her lips against Wynne's ear. "I know a place we could do that sometime, if you ever wanted." Shaking her head, she refocused on the group. "No Oscar for me either, I don't think -- who's William Bowery?" She asked Alex.
—
Mackenzie caught sight of Nora glaring at her, "Does it look like I'm drinking, Nora." She looked over to Alex, "Sorry, it was the first thing that came to mind." She looked over to Winter, but also to the man sitting next to her. That was new.
—
Milo looked between Mack and Nora before taking a long drink. Yikes. He'd certainly been to the movies before but no Oscar or viral videos for him.
—
Alex answered, "It's a pseudonym... co wrote a few Taylor Swift songs. Sweet Nothing, exile, betty... and I think those are it." She looked to Nora who did in fact look like she was drinking faster than the rest of them. Her head tilted with concern, but she wasn't sure how to press as much. Getting a good read on people was how Alex usually navigated social situations and Nora was hard to read. Maybe that'd change with time. She found she hoped it did.
—
"Sweet." Ariadne grinned at Alex. "Still getting my Taylor knowledge to exist at all. I like exile, even if it's way sad." She looked over to Nora, offering her a look that wasn't sympathy (as she didn't think Nora would be receptive to that), but was comforting, she hoped.
—
Milo took a handful of chips before casually offering the bag to Nora.
—
Mackenzie looked back over to Nora, "Are you okay?"
—
Nora doesn't like that more people were giving her attention. Looking at her while she looked like this. Nora's blank expression, still well practiced, stared back at each of them in return. "Fine." Fine, she'd slow down if they all stopped looking. "I am okay. This is a fun party, Mack." She took the bag of chips and somehow fumbled a few into her mouth. "Good chips." She answered, swaying slightly in place.
—
"Thanks, I'm glad you're having fun." Mackenzie wasn't sure Nora was, but she was concerned for her well being. "Eat all the chips you want. There's a couple of different dips in the fridge too if you're into that sort of thing."
—
Miyeon would make sure to check that Nora wasn't curled up in the bathroom later that evening. For now, she downed her drink and poured another. She had to catch up after all. Also, things were getting too serious or whatever. Time to lighten the mood. "Never have I ever not done wolf girl jumps at a party." Her words were slurring a little but she was pretty sure that made sense.
—
"I prefer using the name William when talking about him, his real name doesn't deserve to be in conversation." Winter drank again but only because she needed to get drunk to deal with this much longer, something that also prompted the next Never out of her mouth so that she could gulp down the rest of her beverage while still being in the game. "Never have I ever had my Julie Andrews moment and mattress surfed down the stairs."
—
She could sense Wynne's quiet unease, even if they weren't entirely showing it, and stood up, giving their arm a small tug. "We'll - uh, we'll be back in a little while." Ariadne pulled them along, off to find a quiet, empty room where they could just be together. Once said room was acquired, she gave them a deeper kiss, pulling their body close to hers. "Figured we could use some time just the two of us."
—
Milo laughed, drinking at Miyeon's statement, only to grin at Winter. "Oh, man, what an iconic scene. I always thought that looked so fun, but we didn't have the stairs to try to do it at home." He took another drink, thinking back on watching Princess Diaries with his sisters.
—
“Sorry I’m late, but I brought Dippin’ Dots,” Chaisai called, juggling a handful of flavors of ice cream novelty cups as Chaisai breezed through the door.
—
Mackenzie heard the door open and saw Chai enter, "Hey! Welcome to the chaos that is Never Have I Ever. Kitchen's that way." She motioned with her head, "And while you're there grab a solo cup and come join the fun."
—
Alex looked to Cass, assuming she'd know what the heck Winter was talking about. "Julie Andrews moment," she asked in a whisper.
—
Miyeon was intrigued by this proposal by Winter. "Okay I've never done that but like, there's no time like the present, right?" She looked over to Mack to see if she was going to go for it.
—
"It's totally fun, you really should try to do it at one point." Looking at the new arrival, Winter contemplated following just for the ice cream of the future but then she spotted the stairs not far out of eyeline. "Actually, Mack has a nice set of stairs there."
—
"Oh! Can I grab a mattress?" The idea did sound like the sort of thing that would cheer her up. Maybe when Milo was done, Cass would take a turn of her own. She turned to Mack, flashing her a hopeful look. She didn't think the movie star was her biggest fan, but... Maybe she'd be okay with this. For the sake of the party and all.
—
Nora nodded, still swaying lightly on the spot. "Mack has a good set of stairs." Then Cass was getting excited about it, Nora thought. And Nora was happy because Cass was happy, and found something she wanted to do that looked fun. And Cass deserved to have fun at a party. Nora gave Cass a thumbs up.
—
"Uh, considering I haven't done anything crazy daring lately..." Except kill a huge spider... "Count me in!" Mack stood up and walked over to Cass, much like she had at the last party, "Let's go grab a mattress." She reached out her hand with a smile.
—
"Oh, fuck yes," Milo exclaimed. Mattress surfing and Dippin Dots? ...he might be feeling the drinks a little, but he was so in.
—
Ray entered for the first time
Ray left the chat
—
Mack was reaching for her hand, and Cass smiled, glad to see that things did seem to be mending a little between the two of them. "Save us some Dippin Dots," she ordered, taking Mack's hand and letting the movie star lead the way to the nearest mattress to be repurposed for stair surfing.
—
Alex was starting to put two and two together with the whole mattress surfing thing. Cass looked so excited that she couldn't help but catch some of that thrill herself even though she would decidedly not be surfing on a mattress that night. "Go do mattress beach, Barbies!"
—
Chai entered the kitchen and poured himself a drink and unceremoniously deposited the Dippin’ Dots on the counter before returning to the heart of the party. “Did I hear mattress surfing? Like that princess movie?”
—
Ray arrived a little late to the party after his shift at the restaurant. He'd had a few drinks on the way over to curb his anxiety in the crowds and was proceeding to try and keep up with the rest as they drank more and more. even drinking to ones he'd never done to fit in a little. "That sounds fun."
—
Mackenzie had let go of the frustration she had been harboring with the younger girl. It had been more of a concern than anything, but here they were about to mattress surf and make good memories! Mack led her upstairs towards one of the spare bedrooms, "We can grab this one. I think it's perfect for mattress surfing." She started taking off the comforter, pillows, and sheets.
—
"I've lived out my Princess Diary dreams, you guys have fun. I'm going for the dots." Maybe not eating the way she was supposed to this past month was starting to catch up with her because all of this food seemed to be calling her name. Being a little buzzed didn't help either. Winter made her way to the counter with the ice cream and grabbed a random flavor before she came back to watch the goings on. She playfully reached over with her spoon towards the ghost at her side just to annoy him before she took another bite. "Thank you for bringing these."
—
Milo got up to help the girls. "Hey, Ray!" he called over his shoulder.
—
Ray smiled at Milo and moved to put his bottle down to come to help as well "Hey dude, you going to surf too?"
—
Alex waved and said, "Hey, Soup!"
—
As the others mingled, Cass helped Mack grab the mattress. It was big. Bigger than she'd really expected it to be. She had an embarrassingly limited experience with something as simple as mattresses, had only ever really slept on cots and couches when she could find them, and the ground when she couldn't. It felt heavier than she'd expected, too, but she wouldn't let Mack see it. After the mime fiasco, she desperately wanted Mack to think she was cool and normal and nice. She'd do anything for that, especially now. "Okay," she grunted, nodding. "I got a grip. Come on!" Afraid she'd drop the mattress if she took too long with it, she rushed forward pushing both Mack and the mattress along.
—
That zombie strength would have come in handy right about now. Mackenzie could tell she was footing a lot of the weight, but it was okay. Once they got it to the edge of the steps, they'd be good to go. The night was definitely going so much better than she could have imagined. Everyone was having a good time, and Mack was able to let loose for once and not feel so paranoid. As she moved forward, she could tell Cass was using all her strength and it was causing Mackenzie to stumble, "Hey, Cass, slow down just a little will you?" Okay, maybe they should have just drug the thing instead. As she kept walking, she felt Cass push again, but this time Mackenzie couldn't control the additional weight, and before she knew it, she was pushed into the railing, before the mattress gave her the final push she needed to go over the railing. Everything suddenly flashed back to the day she died on the set of Dropped. And as much as she wanted to scream or try to better prepare herself to land safely, all the training in the world couldn't help her. Instead, she hit the hardwood floor head first cracking her neck and back for the second time with a hard thud. And once again, the world went dark.
—
"Sorry, sorry. I'm just trying to..." Cass trailed off, unable to focus on both supporting the weight of the mattress and carrying on a conversation. She grunted a little, shoving the mattress forward again. This was the problem with having a huge house, right? So much more ground to cover. She didn't mean to shove the mattress into Mack... but that was exactly what happened. And then, Mack was losing her footing, was stumbling over the edge, and was hitting the ground with a crack that Cass thought would live in her mind forever. Her breath caught in her throat, and she dropped the mattress to run to the edge of the railing, looking over with a nauseous feeling tugging at her gut. There was Mack, laying on the floor below with cracks rippling out from the tile around her. Not moving, not breathing. For a moment, Mack was Kuma, was Debbie. Cass thought she might be sick. "Oh my god," she said, panic gripping her. "Oh my god. I didn't --- I didn't mean to. Oh my god. Nonononono."
—
Miyeon's hands clasped to her mouth, gasping as she saw Mack tumble over the side of the balcony. The sound of her neck cracking, the thud to the hard floor echoed through the house. For a moment, Miyeon was frozen in place, stunned by shock. Had she just watched someone die? Had she just seen Mack Ross /die/? Her heart was pounding in her chest and she ran over to see if the host was alright. She reached down to her splayed out wrist, trying to feel for a pulse. There was nothing. She could feel panic grip her, her breaths growing shorter. She didn't know what to do and, for once, she had no idea what to say.
—
If he’d have blinked, he would’ve missed it. But he hadn’t. It happened almost I’m slow motion. One second Mack was tipping over the railing, and the next she was crumpled on the floor below. “Oh, shit!” Chaisai exclaimed. Mack didn’t look good, but he couldn’t bring himself to step towards her. He could not be the sober one here. Responsibility was not his strong suit. He downed the remainder of his glass before taking a single, deliberate step towards his friend. “Uh, hey, Barbie. Get up, please. Please?”
—
One minute Winter was eating the delicious ice cream and enjoying the buzz and then the next all she heard was the sickening crunch of Mack literally landing on her head after falling from the balcony above. Everything went into slow motion, the Dippin' Dots slipping from her hands and landing on the ground while she stared at her friend laying there. She watched as one of the others went forward and checked for a pulse, rooted to the spot, and when it was obvious that there wasn't anything to feel she let a whimper leave her lips.
—
Milo had been going up the stairs to assist Mack and Cass. He wasn't incredibly strong or anything, but he figured another pair of hands couldn't hurt. He was about halfway up when he saw Mack tumble over her railing. There wasn't enough time for him to even try to react before she had hit the ground with a horrifying, stomach turning crack. He stared wide eyed at her body at the ground, neck bent at an unnatural angle, frozen for a moment before he came to his senses. "Oh my god," he breathed. This wasn't happening. This could not be happening.
—
Ray was turning to greet Alex as well when he heard the creak of the bannister, head swivelling back around he caught the very moment that Mack hit the ground. A guttural yell escaped Ray as he registered the bones he'd heard crunching and the sight of Mack on the floor. Dead. She had to be dead. He was stock still and unmoving as he whispered to Ryan in his head "Is she gone? Can you tell?" Looking to Miyeon as she checked for a pulse.
—
Nora knew she was drunk. Nora knew that alcohol buzzed in her vein, clouding her thoughts much like her time in the mines. But as Mack's neck cracked against the wooden floor, she had trouble grasping it. This couldn't be real right? This was just a joke? Wasn't Mack proud of her acting skills? "Get up Mack, come on, it's not funny." Nora's words slurred as she spoke them. "Mack?" Nora tried to take a step forward, but the world was spinning around her. "Fuck." She said finally, sitting down on the floor, giving up on movement. "Not again."
—
Alex had been sipping her drink and watching Cass from afar as she helped Mack get the mattress over to the stairs. Everything happened so fast that she couldn't even get a word out before Mack was tumbling over the balcony and a crack was echoing in her ears. She automatically tuned in on Cass, who's heartbeat was moving more rapidly with every second and quickly leapt up to go over to her. It was an accident and Alex was a bit stunned that someone was dead but she had to make sure Cass was alright. "Hey," she said softly, "You didn't mean to, it was an accident. Just breathe slowly, ok?" She placed a hand on Cass's back and tried to rub soothing circles despite the fact she felt like she was going to be sick. There was a slight tremble in her fingertips that she hoped wasn't felt by the oread. The whimper that left Winter's lips told her everything she needed to know.
—
Alex was there in a heartbeat, standing in front of Cass and telling her to breathe. Breathe, like Mack wasn't. Because Cass had killed her. The panic was all-encompassing, to the point that she didn't hear Nora's muttered 'not again,' didn't register Miyeon checking Mack for a pulse, and didn't take note of Winter's whimper. All that existed was the body on the floor and the fact that Cass had put it there. She tried to look at Alex, but she couldn't tear her gaze away from the corpse. She couldn't focus on anything else. "I killed her. I killed Mack Ross. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god."
—
Miyeon had never seen anyone die. She couldn't comprehend it. It didn't make sense. One moment Mack was there and now she wasn't. She was gone. And all that was left was a dead body that Miyeon was crouching next to. Oh god, that was a dead body. She scooted away on the floor and wrapped her arms around her knees, pulling herself in on herself. "Wh--what do we do?" her voice cracked even at a whisper. "She-- she--she..." Miyeon gulped trying to find her next words. "She's dead." Miyeon couldn't tell if she wanted to scream or cry or simply curl into a ball and disappear. Maybe all of them at once.
—
"What do we do?" Winter was still rooted to the spot, her voice a horse whisper as if anything above that would break even more in the room. What did they do? When Mack disappeared from her life months before she had been pissed at the girl but still thought she would see her again and now...now she was definitely gone. She could feel tears welling up but she refused to let them fall. No, they had to figure this out. There was no time for crying.
—
Another crisis for Cass. Nora was grateful Alex was there helping her. Nora wanted to help too, but her legs had buckled under her. Why had she drunk so much? No one else had drunk as much as her? That was so dumb of her. "We dispose of the body." Nora answered. Cass wasn't going to jail for this. They weren't going to jail cause of a dumb accident. "And we never talk about it again." Which, in her drunk slur, sounded silly and not at all serious like the moment intended.
—
He didn't know what to do, wasn't sure he was breathing. Everything the others were saying sounded muffled under the sound of his blood rushing. This couldn't be happening. She had to be okay. There was no way they had all just watched Mack Ross die. He stumbled down the stairs, wanting to check her pulse- Miyeon had to be wrong- but once he was standing there, staring over at her, he couldn't get himself to move any closer. No. No, no, no, no, no. He wasn't sure if he had said it aloud. He couldn't- This couldn't be happening again. His head snapped up at Nora's suggestion, though. "What?! We can't just- This isn't- We have to tell someone! I'm not going-" Milo couldn't get the words out. He wasn't going along with this, this wasn't going to be another fucking death pit situation.
—
Of all the things that could have been suggested, that was not what Winter had expected. Immediately she snapped, her eyes finally leaving Mack as she turned her head towards Nora. "What the fuck? Maybe we call a fucking ambulance? We could be wrong, right?" Even if they weren't wrong, and there was no way they were, Mack still deserved more than a fucking body dump.
—
Alex had hardly had anything to drink, but the suggestion still made her feel sick to her stomach. Even if it was an accident, they'd been underaged and drinking and she couldn't see it shaking out well for Cass. It felt shitty. Mack was her friend. It was new, sure, but they were giving the whole friendship thing a try even if it was new to both of them. But it was Cass and she couldn't let her go to jail. All she could do was nod and move her hand to take Cass's in her own instead. The silent gesture said more than words could, it let her know that Alex was going to be there no matter what they had to do.
—
Ray finally got control of his feet but couldn't get them to do anything useful - especially when all his body really screamed for him to do was run away. But he always ran away. He had to stop. But what were they going to do? Were they actually going to dump a body? "Is that the only way?" he wondered quietly looking to Nora and finally tearing his eyes away from the corpse.
—
Everything was muffled. Words were jumbled. Nothing made sense. But there was a brightness. The lights above. Mackenzie could recognize light. She could recognize that there were other people around her, but everything felt off. She couldn't move. At least not at the moment. But she knew her body was doing something - healing itself. And with the healing came an insatiable need to feed. She was soooo hungry. Food was all that mattered and the room she was laying in currently held many options. Easy pickings. Who first? The little one on the floor? The two on the balcony. She could make out blurs of shapes as her eyesight started to come back. The ones on the floor would be the easiest, because right now her legs and neck were not working. Groaning slightly, she started to move her arms. Things were starting to work, but pitifully. Grunting, Mackenzie began crawling towards Nora. Fitting, since she had just suggested dumping her body, but Mack didn't hear that. All she knew was food. Nothing logical, since she was still in her infancy and dumb as a box of rocks.
—
"I don't want to go to jail. Oh god. Oh my god. They're gonna --- They'll put me in ---" She couldn't even form a thought. What would happen to her? This wasn't some random person Cass had killed. This was a movie star, someone famous, someone loved. There was no way they'd do anything less than throw the book at her. The public would hate her. She'd rot in prison. And then what? What even happened when someone not human was arrested? Were there protocols in place, rules? Would they lock her in a special cell, or would they just kill her? She didn't want to find out. "We can't! If we call for an ambulance, they'll --- We're going to get in trouble and I don't --- We should --- We should promise not to tell. We should..." The body groaned. Mack groaned. And moved. Crawling towards Nora, looking... hungry? "What the fuck is happening?"
—
Of course, Mack had been acting. What kind of fucking play was everyone working on? Nora watched as the body groaned and started crawling towards her. "Come on Mack. We get it. You're an actor, you're sooo good at playing dead. What is all of this?" Because Nora, despite accepting the supernatural, despite being trained by a slayer, wouldn't consider something as supernatural as the undead at a Barbie's Dream House Party.
—
“Dispose of the body?” Chai echoed, incredulous. “Cave girl, we cannot do that. We should probably—we should—I don’t know what we should do.” Should they call the police? It was an accident, no one should get in trouble for that. But the potential for underage drinking was there, he figured, looking around at the group. Would that be a problem? “We can’t throw her away,” he insisted. A feeling of dread snaked its way up his spine. images of his friend being struck by lightning flashed across his mind and he closed his eyes. When he opened them again, he looked back towards their friend— their dead friend—and suddenly the corpse moved. “Holy shit. Nope. Nope.” With that, he turned away, heading for the kitchen. He was definitely too sober for this.
—
Fuck. Milo plopped onto the ground. He was shaking and his chest was stuttering and he wasn't breathing properly, and already he could feel that familiar tingling underneath his skin. He needed to breathe. He couldn't lose control here. But then Mack's body started moving, scaring the ever loving shit out of him, and a lamp went flying across the room, shattering against the wall. "What the fuck?!"
—
Alex usually hated her sense of hearing, but in that moment, she was grateful that she was quick to realize Mack was moving. She had been dead and now she was moving with a hungry look in her eyes. She honed in on the sounds coming from Mack and notably a heartbeat was not one of them which could only mean one thing. Shit. Mack was undead and while she didn't know much, that meant she was probably as ravenous as Alex was on the full moon. Did she know she was undead? Alex hoped so, that would mean she had a stash of food for herself somewhere, but she had to be quick. "Cass, Nora," she directed, "You keep an eye on Mack. Do not let her get close to you or anyone else until I get back. Got it?" If anyone could handle a hungry undead, it would be the giant bear and the superhero, even if the former was more than a little intoxicated and the latter in a state of shock.
—
Again, a noise had her head snapping in another direction only to find Mack moving. How the holy… Winter couldn't wrap her mind around what was happening right now and even with Nora's words she felt her stomach drop. Even if Mack was an actor she knew better than to think she would pull something like this on everyone here. Winter might have but not her, right? The lamp flying across the room elicited a scream. With everything happening she was super jumpy. "What the actual fuck?!?"
—
Ray muffled a scream when the body started to move again. She'd been dead. She'd been confirmed dead. In a panic, wanting to get everyone away from whatever was happening he rushed for Nora and scooped her off the floor and moved them rapidly away from Mack. "What's going ON?"
—
A lot was going on. All of it was confusing. Fear was an intoxicating snack for Nora, and she reveled in the sweet snacks of her friends as they all freaked out. For what? Mack's acting wasn't even that good. She just fell and played dead. A sober Nora, one who could read a room and pay attention to many facts, may have picked up on the true seriousness of this situation, but Nora was really into making a fool of herself lately. Ray was picking her off the floor and pulling her away from the crawling Mack, but Ray was a runner. He would be scared of anything. Nora patted his arm gently, there, there. This wasn't even scary.
—
Alex figured if there was a stash of blood in the manor, it wouldn't be in the main fridge she had guests going into. If that had been the case, someone would have already called Mack out on it. There had to be another fridge somewhere. Maybe her bedroom, basement, or garage. The size of the house had seemed cool before, but now it seemed overwhelming. She was 5'1" and while she was quick, that was a lot of ground to cover. She wasn't sure she'd be able to pick up on the smell, but maybe she'd be able to hear the hum of another refrigerator. She normally tuned that out, but she ripped her ear plugs out and closed her eyes to get a sense of what direction to go in. She ran as fast as her feet could take her down the stairs, shuffling around rooms until she found the two refrigerators. In a rush, she ripped the doors open on both, breaking the door off the one that seemed to be for human food. Well, at least if she had this many fridges it wouldn't be an issue to replace later. She quickly gathered as many containers of brains and body parts as she could and flew back up the stairs. As she reached outside, one of the containers fell on the ground, but she couldn't be bothered to stop and instead raced toward Mack. She quickly knelt down and took the lid off one of the tupperware with brains. She handed it to Mack carefully. "Here," she said softly, "You'll feel better after you eat this. I can grab and send someone down to crab more, too. Cass or Nora won't be freaked out by it."
—
Mackenzie heard the voice yelling at her. She still couldn't make out the words. The only thing on her mind was eating. She needed her strength. She needed food. Nora looked like a mighty tasty blur. As she pulled herself forward with her arms dragging herself across the floor, Mackenzie groaned louder, before the word food escaped her mouth. She saw another human figure scoop up her prey. Growling in anger, Mackenzie felt her strength grow along with a healing crack of her back. Pushing herself up off of the floor to her knees and then to wobbly feet, the actress grabbed her head and cracked her neck back into place, "Hungry..." Looking around, her eyes hazy and glazed over, she spotted Winter and started to move towards her.
—
Miyeon thought she was shocked before but then the dead body moved. Mack Ross was dead on the ground one second and then standing up the next. She didn't move. Other than her jaw hanging open in shock, her eyes stuck to the girl who was definitely up and walking after she snapped her neck. She was frozen in place, trying to hold her legs tighter to keep from shaking. She was one second away from just turning into a fox. It might be the only way she could figure out how to move. "Someone t-tell me what is going on?" she whimpered. A lamp crashed and made her jump out of her shock. Yeah, fuck this, she didn't care who knew or who saw what. A burst of smoke surrendered Miyeon and in her place was a small fox, scurrying away to Nora, hiding behind her legs.
—
Keep an eye on her? Why? Cass wasn't thinking logically, but she trusted Alex. "I'll make sure she's okay," she said, moving towards Mack cautiously. She crouched down next to the movie star, reaching out to put a hand on her arm just as Alex rejoined the party with... tupperware? "I don't think she wants a snack, Alex," she said with uncertainty.
—
Winter was having a psychotic break, that was the only explanation. First a ghost was following her around, one who looked decidedly amused at this point, and now her friend was coming back from the dead and snapping her neck into place while things flew across the room on their own. She had to be in some room back home making this up in her head. Did she miss Mack that much? Now a person was a fox? Yea, she had lost it. That was all there was to it.
—
Alex realized how close Cass was to Mack and whispered urgently, "You need to back up, Cass. She needs the snack. It's not a human thing."
—
"Alex, I don't think this is a good time for flirting," Cass replied uncertainly. "She's hurt."
—
Chaisai pounded a glass and re-entered the crime scene in time to see Alex return with…leftovers. He turned to ask anyone else what the hell was happening when he saw something that caught him off guard. “Is that a fox?” he asked no one in particular. “What is even happening tonight?” All of this had to be some immense prank, and it wasn’t very funny. The fox seemed out of place, too.
—
Milo saw Alex returning with tupperware, and noticed the one that had fallen had opened to reveal what appeared to be a brain. Fuck this town. "What the fuck is wrong with this town?" Milo shuddered at the sound of Mack's neck snapping back into a normal position, pulling himself up and away from the zombie??? Only to see Miyeon disappear and a fox to appear in her place. What the fuck?!?!?
—
Alex shook her head. "I'm not flirting with you, Cass," she retorted in a hushed voice, "Mack is a zombie. If she doesn't eat what I just gave her she's probably gonna eat everyone at this party. And no, still not flirting. I mean literally, not in a fun way."
—
Ray felt Nora pet him on the arm but he was very busy watching Mack for what she was going to do next. He didn't let up his hold on the bugbear for a second, she was clearly too far gone and needed to stay away. This wasn't right, there was something going on here. The sickening crack of her neck going back into place made his stomach turn as the others started to put themselves between Mack and the Party.
—
Nora's head swam. Ray was panicked, Miyeon was a fox between her legs, Winter, that was her name right? Her ghost looked like he was having fun. That was nice. Ghosts deserve to have fun. Alex was giving instructions. Did Nora need to go get something? What did Nora need to go get? Maybe she would never drink again. Maybe having control of her conscious thoughts was a lot better then the fuzz that settled it now, even if it worked. In this confusion, she'd forgotten to think about her body and the mines.
—
A zombie? Mack Ross was a zombie? Had she always been a zombie? Cass's brow furrowed as she looked at the tupperware in Alex's hands a little closer. Brains. Okay, so the zombie thing wasn't a new development. Her eyes scanned the room --- Nora, drunk and confused with a fox that... probably had to be Miyeon hiding behind her. Winter, having a breakdown in a way that was totally not how Cass liked to meet new people. Chai and Milo, both looking more than a little lost. Ray, watching it all unfold. Was this what parties were always like? "Um, okay. Mack Ross is a zombie. Cool. Okay. Sure. What the fuck?"
—
Mackenzie had noticed Cass coming towards her. Food that was right in her path was so much easier than the person freaking out on the other side of the room. Reaching out, she moved in the direction of Cass before grabbing her and pulling her in closer with extreme strength. Leaning her newly healed neck to the side, she opened her mouth wide and laid into Cass's shoulder with a hard bite. However, whatever she bit into wasn't budging. Mack growled in frustration as she gnawed on what felt like a rock. Angry, she pushed Cass as hard as she could out of the way, before smelling the brains that Alex had brought up from downstairs. Turning her attention on the werewolf, she started moving towards Alex, "Brains..." She reached out trying to grab the food that wasn't quite in her reach yet.
—
Nora picked the fox up. The fox was soft. Nora buried her face in the soft fox coat. This was a fun party, she thought, enjoying more tasty fear snacks.
—
"Hey!" Cass screeched in a damn good impression of a banshee, jumping back as Mack Ross's zombie teeth tried to take a bite out of her shoulder. "You're gonna rip my shirt!" She hadn't broken the skin --- Cass's skin was pretty hard to break, after all --- but her shirt was all wet with zombie slobber now. Gross. At least the brains seemed to spark something. Cass grabbed the tupperware from Alex, much more content to put her hard-to-bite hand in the line of fire than risking Alex meeting the zombie's teeth, and thrust it towards her. "Here!"
—
Alex rushed towards Cass when she realized Mack was about to bite her only to let out a breath of relief when that didn't go according to plan. Even though Cass always had a certain radiance about her, it was easy to forget that she was stone and magma underneath it all. Before she could reach out to nudge the container towards Mack, Cass was already doing so. She was grateful the oread had caught on and she quickly looked to inspect her. "Are you ok?"
—
Miyeon was moving. Oh god, the world was moving and she was getting taller all a sudden. Then she realized there were hands grabbing her. Hands that smelled like Nora's. Oh, okay, she was petting her. That was fine. She snuggled into her friend. It definitely felt like the safest option. The wolf girl and rock girl could take care of the not dead girl.
—
"I'm okay," Cass assured Alex, turning to let her look at the shoulder in question. "See? No harm done." She directed the last part towards Mack, too, knowing that if their roles were reversed, she'd want to make sure she hadn't hurt anyone. Glancing over to where Nora had Miyeon, she was pleased to see the both of them safe, too. And the boys all looked alright, which mostly left... "Um... Hey, Winter? Are you, uh... How are you doing?"
—
Mackenzie yanked the brain out of the container and started to sloppily shove it in her mouth. Dropping to the floor, she consumed the brain without savoring it knowing it wasn't going to do much considering she had just died AGAIN. When she was finished, she could automatically feel things start to make sense again, but she still had a need to feed, "Alex...food. Want more food." She looked up at the person she knew to be Alex.
—
Ray was stunned as things started to seem to wind down again. It felt like a fever dream. "Uhm excuse me but ...what the actual fuck?"
—
The sight of Mack biting another human was the icing on the cake of this whole night, Winter leaning back against the wall and nodding at whoever was talking to her. "Oh, I'm so good right now." Even in times of crisis sarcasm tended to take over but there was less bite than usual in her tone. Her gaze kept flicking between Mack and the fox and then to the person Mack had bit. Cass...they were the one who had asked, right? "What is going on?"
—
Milo knew necromancy was a thing, but he wasn't sure what the fuck all of this was. This seemed proper Night of the Living Dead zombie shit. "Yeah, seconding that. What the fuck? Also, she just bit you, Cass???"
—
Now that she was a tall fox, Miyeon was able to see the ghost floating around Winter. Her little kitsune stomach started to grumble. And the nachos were not going to cut it. She tilted her little head and made a small little yip, asking to be let down. She wanted a snack, too. And she didn't want the gross-smelling whatever it was that Mack was eating. She was just going to eat a little bit of the ghost, it would be fine.
—
“She, um, she didn't bite me very hard! Didn't even break the skin!" Cass rubbed at her shoulder, pretending it hurt. "It'll just be a bruise, that's all." She looked to Mack with uncertainty. She thought she was probably up to speed now, but it wasn't really up to her to tell everyone else, was it? If Mack wanted a lie... well, she'd need someone other than Cass to tell it.
—
Alex was relieved that the only damage done was some slobber on Cass's shirt. "Okay, good," she said, reaching to give Cass's hand a squeeze before returning her attention to Mack. Cass was checking in on the others and Mack was devouring the brain from the container. Alex quickly grabbed another and shoved it towards the zombie. "Here," she said. She looked for Nora in the crowd and saw her holding a... fox? The fox girl thing suddenly made sense. Huh. And everyone else had a lot of questions that Alex had no idea how to answer, so she looked to Mack, hoping she'd have her fill enough soon to give whatever the PR reason for this would be.
—
Nora, face still pressed to the softest fox she'd ever held, was sad to let Miyeon go. But Nora had always lived by the motto, animals only stayed as long as they wanted. That went with her new friend too. Nora put the fox down. "It wasn't very cool of Mack to bite Cass like that. They should take away her Emmy. Crimes against Cass."
—
"Also, can we address the fact that Miyeon turned into a fox because." Fuck, she had said something about a fox girl at the last party. Milo had thought she was just a furry, he didn't think he meant she was a literal fucking fox!
—
Alex looked around and shrugged, "Uh.... We're all just really drunk?"
—
Milo gave Alex a look. "Bestie..."
—
Alex stifled a laugh under the pressure. "Okay, you got me there," she relented, "But I am very specifically not Mack Ross' PR so I will let her explain her stunts."
—
"I had one cup." She whispered the words, now spotting the fox nibbling on the ghost following her around but Winter wasn't very concerned about that even if he seemed to be. Wait, the fox was biting the ghost? Was that normal?
—
Ray made a face and leaned down to mumble to Nora "Are there other people here that are...like you and stuff too?"
—
Chaisai could feel the anxiety begin to ebb away. “This is a really weird prank.” Something deep in the pit of his stomach tugged at him, told him that something stranger than a prank was at hand here. “Wait, where did she go?” The fox could not be their friend. “I’m not drunk either,” Chai said, agreeing with Winter. “So are we all like, weird here, or is it just…” He let the question hang in the air, looking from Mack to the fox and back.
—
Fox Miyeon was running towards Winter, which seemed like a bad idea. Winter was already having some kind of a breakdown. Cass wanted to tell Miyeon that maybe she should take it easy, but... There was so much going on. It was a little hard to figure out what she should be focusing on. She looked to Mack, chewing her lip for a moment and offering her a small nod. However Mack wanted to play this, Cass would follow along. She owed her that much after tossing her off a balcony.
—
Mackenzie consumed the other brain enjoying all the meaty bits of it. Finally, something more satisfying was happening. She started to feel like her old self. Memories came flooding back. Names started to slowly come back. And when she realized where she was at and vaguely what was happening, she knew she had to go back downstairs. If she didn't eat enough, they were all going to be scrambling for their lives again, except Cass, who was surprisingly tough. Looking around, she could feel emotions again and that sucked harder than the fox sucking on the ghost. Without words, she stumbled downstairs and towards the room with the fridge. The door was gone, but that was okay. It didn't matter at this point. She just wanted the contents.
—
Miyeon trotted off towards the ghost, but it was a little too far away. She leaped onto a chair and then hopped onto the table and was about to take a little nibble of plasmic energy when she heard her name and her ears swiveled towards the source, turning to see that it was Milo. Oh. Right. Whoops. She did sort of shift in the middle of a party, didn't she? She hadn't even thought about it long enough to weigh the consequences. Between the not-dead dead body and the flying lamp and the buzz of the sangria, she sort of didn't have the time. Cool cool cool. She should probably shift back. But her clothes were in the middle of the room. Uh, the tablecloth was going to have to do. She nuzzled her nose under the edge of the fabric and shoved as much of herself as she could underneath it before poofing back into her human form, wrapping the tablecloth around her to try and cover up as much as she could. "Um, don't ask. Can you hand me my clothes, Milo? Please?" She saw the looks she was getting. Yup, okay, this was fine. "Literally don't worry about it. What's going on with Mack? Is she dead? Is she not? What is going on?"
—
"Fair enough, I guess." Though Alex did seem to be the one who knew what the fuck was going on. Seeing another poof of smoke followed by Miyeon poking her head out from under the table just confirmed his suspicions. She had definitely turned into a fox, then. And Mack had just wandered off??? "Seems like we're all weird here, yeah," Milo nodded, a bewildered look on his face as he gathered Miyeon's clothes. His hands were still shaking, but the events of the past few minutes were so fucking weird that he wasn't freaking out as much. That was a plus. As he neared the table, he averted his gaze, feeling incredibly awkward as he held out the bundle of clothes in his hand.
—
Chaisai covered his eyes out of respect, despite this bewildering turn of events.
—
Nora watched Mack consume a brain. Maybe this wasn't acting. Maybe this was. Nora didn't know, but Miyeon was naked now and it felt like a real television party suddenly. Nudity was always included in those.
—
Miyeon said "Thanks," and took her clothes back and ducked behind the counter to quickly throw them back on.
—
Mackenzie made her way through quite a bit of the food she had stored up, and when she was finished everything felt normal again. Well as normal as dying in front of your friends, coming back and trying to eat them, and then consuming brains in front of them could be. FUCK. They had just seen all of that. They knew what she was. Winter knew what she was. Walking back upstairs, she quietly stood at the doorway. With "Dance The Night" from the Barbie soundtrack blasting in the background, Mackenzie knew she had to follow the lyrics of the song and present herself with poise. She had done this before, right? This was part of life in the spotlight. Fuck, fuck, fuck. "Hey guys...so, uh, what'd I miss..." Her smile was uneasy; mouth covered in slime and other things; skin pale; and her eyes still somewhat white and glazed with the skin on her neck bruised from previously being broken.
—
"We're all weird here..." It was all starting to sink in and Winter glanced at her ghost in time to see the fox had turned back into a person. If she had a ghost and he had been told all of her life about mediums it would have been ignorant to think that other things didn't exist, right? It was a lot all at once so she let her body slide down the wall so she could take a seat and breathe a little. "What did you miss?"
—
Milo couldn't help but laugh. "Well, you died, and freaked everyone out so much that someone turned into a fox, so." He snorted. "I'm so sorry. This is just fucking nuts, and I've felt like I've been going insane lately. Came here to get away from that, but I should've known better in this town." He took a few breaths. "Sorry. I'm glad you're okay? I guess? Also, sorry about your lamp."
—
Ray finally let Nora go, taking a deep breath. It seemed Mack was back to...normal felt like too big of a stretch for the moment. Everyone had secrets it seemed. He wanted to go to bed. He didn't quite know what to say to Mack or anyone really. "There's bits of glass on the floor from the lamp watch out?" he offered instead of anything of substance. "Got a brush?"
—
Alex nodded as the group seemed to acknowledge they were all weird in some way. A few years ago, that would freaked her out and even though she struggled with how she saw herself, something about this band of weirdos made her feel a little more okay about it. "Guess we are," she said nonchalantly. She gave Mack a knowing look as she returned and simply nodded. They could discuss *that* later.
—
The fact that this had all been happening while the Barbie movie soundtrack had been playing was just the icing on the disaster cake. Milo rushed to help Ray as the other went to clean up the mess. "I can get it. My fault anyway."
—
Miyeon tilted her head as she looked back at Milo. "Wait, that was your fault?" she asked. She had kind of assumed it was the ghost. "Okay so like you missed a lot. Sort of maybe because you died. I don't know. But like there's a lot going on here. Clearly." She looked over at Milo, Winter, Nora, Cass, Alex, and her gaze landed on Mack last. "Um, but, I guess everyone's okay? Mostly? Are we good? Is it time to keep partying now?" She wasn't sure what she hoped the answer was going to be if she was honest.
—
Chaisai sighed. This night got weird quickly. “Alright. Never have I ever died. Anyone else? Never have I ever turned into an animal. Can we talk about what the fuck is happening? Where’s Ashton, ‘cause it feels like we’re being punk’d. Is this Celebrity Pranks?”
—
Ray dropped to a knee next to the shattered lamp and shook his head lightly "Don't worry dude it's-...your fault? What do you mean..." he trailed off for a second before mumbling to the other "I need something to do with my hands anyway, I'm still a bit spooked to be honest." he showed Milo the slight tremble in his fingers with an awkward smile. "I'm not made for excitement like this..."
—
Winter pointed to Chaisai. "That. All of that."
—
Oh, shit. Well. He hadn't really been thinking when he'd admitted to that. "Uhhh... Don't worry about it?" His voice was uncertain as he repeated Miyeon's earlier words. Milo nodded at Ray, raising one of his own shaking hands. "Me either, dude." Chai's words made him burst out into another fit of laughter, though. "Again, I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh."
—
Mackenzie was ashamed, embarrassed, but more than anything scared. Would they know that she was the one who killed Brody? If she had a heartbeat, it would be pounding so hard right now. She watched as Milo and Ray went to clean up the lamp, "It's fine...It's uh, don't worry about it." She glanced around the room seeing the mess and chaos that had ensued while she was out of it. Everyone was stressed and scared and laughing? Barbie Sleepover had gone to Barbie Nightmare in a heartbeat. Ironic choice of words of course, "Um...look I know...I know this is probably a shock to you all..." She noticed Nora looking unamused, "some...I just, I'm asking if you guys could not tell anybody...please. My life depends on this being kept quiet. I did some things that I hate myself for, and...it's the whole reason I'm here in Wicked's Rest. You don't have to talk to me...or acknowledge my existence anymore after this, if you never want to see me again, but...all I ask is if you...could just please, please not say anything..."
—
Alex was glad she didn't have her drink on her, though on technicality, she wasn't sure a werewolf counted as an animal. That was definitely more turning into a monster. She chuckled nervously and found her way back to Cass. They were all a little weird, but she wasn't sure she was necessarily ready to broadcast that she was a werewolf specifically.
—
Mack was upset. And Cass still felt a little responsible for it, given the fact that she was the one who'd knocked the movie star off the balcony. If she hadn't done that, no one would know anything at all about what Mack was. So Cass looked at her friends, and nodded. "Okay," she said decisively. "Everyone has to promise. Right here, right now. Look at me, and promise not to say anything about this to anyone not at this party."
—
Nora may have still been drunk, but she trusted Cass. So when Cass gave an instruction, Nora was the first to look at her and make the promise. Nora knew Cass was only asking this for a good reason.
—
Ray looked up with a handful of lamp shards "I promise."
—
Chaisai looked at Mack, confusion crossing his face. His brow furrowed. He didn’t quite understand what was happening here if he were being honest, but he nodded slowly. “Sure. Promise.”
—
Miyeon nodded. She knew that there was no way she was going to put any of this into any sort of journalistic anything. And not even just because they could all blackmail her with the turning into a fox thing. No, this was the sort of secret that you just kept. Supernatural stuff. Her parents may have kept most of it from her but they did tell her that much, that things were safer when the whole world didn't know about the strange things lurking just beneath the surface. And who was she to argue? "I promise."
—
Alex didn't need to be asked twice. She vaguely understood the binding thing, but even so, it didn't matter. Cass was asking her to make a promise and if Cass asked, then the answer was always yes. "I promise," she said without a shred of hesitation.
—
Milo narrowed his eyes, thinking back to the death pit. He didn't want to say anything, not that anyone would believe him if he told them that Mack Ross was a fucking zombie, but whatever magic Cass was using... Mack was clearly anxious and feeling miserable, though. He nodded. "Promise."
—
Winter was staring at Mack while she spoke. She wasn't planning on saying anything about this to anyone anyway but how could she when her friend was obviously very upset about all of this and needed some reassurance. She rolled her eyes at the other asking them to promise, still a little shaky about it all, but she nodded anyway. "Promise."
—
Tears barely came out of Mackenzie's pale eyes as she watched everyone around the room promise not to say anything, "I'm so sorry. I just...wanted this to be soft and fun, and I fucked it up." Stammering and looking down for a minute, she took a beat and made a decision, "You can all go. Just...yeah." Mackenzie was defeated. Looking back down, she left the room leaving everyone to decide if they wanted to leave or stay. She didn't care anymore.
—
"And I promise, too," Cass added, nodding to each of them in turn. She crafted the bind carefully, tying the metaphorical knot around each person who'd said the words. They'd be safe now, just like they had been when she'd used the same method to ensure no one would ever find out about Debbie. Mack would be safe. Turning back to her, Cass ached with the look on her face. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. "I'm really sorry." But Mack left the room, and everything felt a little emptier than it had been before. "I, um... I'll go get Aria and Wynne. Tell them the party's done. I think we should all go home."

//✨IT'S RICHARD'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!✨ (wahoooo! *throws confetti*) Happy birthday to my favourite, adorable, cinnamonroll of a clumsy son!
On top of this being Richard's birthday, it is also my blog's 8th anniversary, or at least 8 years since I've been writing for Richard! 8!!! Would you believe it!? I remember making Richard as nothing more than a sideblog 'cause I was losing mojo when it came to writing for my Charles Xavier RP blog. I remember thinking that I would most likely delete not only Richard, but quit Tumblr and the RPing community altogether. I'm so glad I proved myself wrong, because I not only got to explore Richard as a character, but mainly bc/ I got to meet, hang out, and just befriend SO many lovely, wonderful, and amazing human beans by sticking around. (Seriously, I'm amazed how I've known some of you for 8 years now like??? Richard and I were literally bbys when some of u met us lol). So, anyways, whether ur an old friend or a new one, I just wanted to say a million, BIG thank yous for EVERYTHING, and for putting up with me and my molasses writing/reply speed and lil’ gremlin energy and just for being such amazing mutuals, and for sticking with Richard and I through thick, thin, and everything in between *gives u all the biggest tackle hugs*💛🧡💛🧡//

Almost Done!!!!
Hey guys! You've all been so awesome with the feedback you've given me on my stories, although Unbreakable Bonds seems to be the running favorite, I appreciate all the support and engagement! So, onto the good news! My Obi-wan/Cressida one-shot is almost done!!! I've been in such a writing funk lately and it's been so hard to force myself to write and I've wanted to write this story so much but the writing mojo for this particular story was just NOT coming! But I had a breakthrough the other day! So I'm happy to say it's getting close, then I need to edit the hell out of it and fine-tune it! But as a thanks for your guy's support I thought I'd give you all a little preview!
As the one less acquainted with the infamous dish, Cressida's ignorance about its taste and smell had shielded her from the full extent of its unpleasantness. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she reached forward and stirred the contents of the bowl. The smell, even worse when cold, wrinkled her nose in a comically exaggerated display of distaste. Without missing a beat, she offered the spoon to Obi-Wan, who responded with an emphatic head shake and a firm rejection of the spoon.
"As their playful banter unfolded, Obi-Wan skillfully dodged Cressida's attempts to feed him the dreaded swamp water stew. His mastery of Soresu extended beyond lightsaber combat to playful food evasion. Her repeated childish antics managed to elicit a genuine smile from the Jedi Master, and the room resonated with his chuckles. However, Cressida aimed for more—she sought to provoke an unrestrained, hearty laugh, the kind that echoed through the air.
“You’re the one with a padawan... who hasn’t eaten in a week,” she teased, determined to escalate their playful skirmish.
“It’ll make me sick… Would you like to see me throw up what I have eaten?” Obi-Wan countered, humor coloring his words as the two engaged in a lighthearted battle over who would dare to take the first bite of the notorious stew. “No, absolutely not!”
“Come now, Obi-Wan, make Qui-Gon proud, drink the swamp water.”
“You’re the sentry; I thought sentries were fearless,” he playfully prodded, poking at the infamous pride associated with sentinels.
Undeterred, she shook her head at him, muttering, “Coward,” before bravely bringing the spoon to her face and taking a bite of the stew. The comedic dance between them continued, each move and quip contributing to the playful atmosphere that momentarily dispelled the heaviness in the room.
As her face contorted into a look of sheer disgust, Obi-Wan couldn't contain the laughter that bubbled up within him rivaling the roar of a Wookiee. . It erupted from him like a geyser, a release of pent-up tension, and the laughter poured out of him in uncontrollable waves, echoing through the room. The sheer absurdity of the situation fueled his amusement, and he found himself laughing harder than he had in weeks. Her defensive posture resembled a creature recoiling from an unpleasant surprise as she dropped the spoon into the murky swamp water, a culinary nemesis that seemed to take personal offense. With wide eyes and an audible groan, she valiantly attempted to wrestle the offensive taste into submission, which only fueled his amusement."
And now something a little spicy...
"Feverish kisses lingered, creating a momentary pause as the weight of His obi and tunic met the floor, forgotten in the fervor of their passion. Cressida's hungry gaze roamed freely over the expanse of his chest, tracing the contours of his young and unblemished form, unburdened by the scars that time would later etch upon him. It was a feast for her eyes, a tableau of youth and strength.
A pleasant haze enveloped them, a blend of contentment and the drowsy aftermath of desire. With a gentle push from Obi-Wan, they eased back onto the bed, cradled by its softness, yet it did nothing to impede the urgency between them. Amidst the gentle touches and caresses, they spiraled into a frenzy, the realization of their actions and any reservations about the risks lost somewhere in the recesses of their minds. In lives dedicated to serving the galaxy, such indulgences were rare and often frowned upon, sacrificed in the pursuit of duty. However, in this intimate act, a different kind of service unfolded—one that transcended the expectations and quieted the lingering doubts. As their bodies entwined, those voices advocating restraint were drowned in the sea of shared vulnerability and passion.
Every soft murmur of contentment that escaped Cressida's lips became a gentle melody of encouragement, urging him to press his growing erection against her. His own breath caught in delightful surprise when she skillfully discovered a tender spot on his neck, evoking another sweet sound from him with a tender love bite—gentle enough not to leave any visible marks, yet firm enough to leave an impression. One that would occupy his thoughts on lonely nights when he wanted temporary physical relief, he would think of this."
Thanks again everyone! If you'd like to be notified when its done give me a comment or a reblog and let me know and I'll add you to the tags list!

Holy shit you’re genius about that crossover.
Pls share thoughts 👀👀
Well, I'd be happy to, anon!! (I'm going to politely assume this is about the KFP x Rise au since that's the only crossover I've posted about iirc) I'm currently doing tremendous amounts of research into the Kung Fu Panda lore (/hj) Also, this is going to seem so unorganized 'cause I'm just throwing out anything that comes to mind <3 (I'm sorry this is so long!!)
You know those jokes about how if Spider-Man and Batman switched villains, they'd obliterate them? It'd be like that.
I think, maybe, Leo and Po would switch universes, similarly to how the TMNT show crossovers work! I mean, wouldn't it make sense for the Greatest Ninja in the World and the Dragon Warrior to be the ones to switch?
Leo would probably try to open a portal to to Run of the Mill or somewhere in Hidden City, just somewhere that would make sense for him, and he'd accidentally open a portal to the Valley of Peace, and he'd accidentally open a second portal under/around Po and they'd do that big ol' switcheroo!
Opening a portal between universes probably takes a crazy amount of mystic energy, so, while Po is conscious and living it up in New York, Leo is in, essentially, a mini coma for a day or two. He'd probably lose his katanas, or they'd be stolen, but either way he doesn't have them anymore.
I think the Mad Dogs would LOVE having Po around, honestly. He's everything they could've dreamed of in a big brother. He's super in tune with his emotions, he loves physical affection, his jokes are actually funny, and this man knows how to EAT. They want their brother back, of course, but hey, Po is such a great leader and Donnie does need to take breaks from all the science stuff, and it's not like any of them can open cool mystic portals, no sir!
The Furious Five would probably be rather welcoming of Leo, they'd wanna take care of him and help him get home. But Leo being Leo wouldn't trust a single one of them. He'd wake up and immediately try throwing hands with them. He would get his ass kicked. The Five would think it was hilarious that they managed to kick his ass until they learn that Mr. Hamato is sixteen and is just Like That™️
The mix between jujitsu and kung fu would be COOL AS FUCK, and Po/Leo are having a lot of fun teaching their respective fighting styles.
Leo would probably fake trust The Five, letting them think he's not losing his shit every time they talk to him. He probably wouldn't trust anyone fully until he meets Shifu, who, honestly, is pretty similar to Splinter in his eyes. They'd have to sit down, alone, and drink tea while Shifu explains their universe and who they are.
Back in New York, Po has full trust in all three of these weird teenage turtles, their "human" friends, and their rodent and sheep fathers, and he'd tell them all about the Valley of Peace and how he became the Dragon Warrior and just how much they would LOVE Shifu. Donnie, in turn, would tell him about their universe and explain everything he asked about.
Leo would love being in the Valley of Peace, it's almost perfectly his happy place in his mind. After he opens up a bit, the Five starts helping him train (so he "doesn't get rusty when [he gets] back home") and help him find his katanas and get his mystic mojo back.
Po and the Mad Dogs are LOSING THEIR SHIT, DAILY, because of all the crazy awesome martial arts they're doing together.
To sum up pretty much everything I just said, Leo does some dumbass portal shit, which leads to Po and the Mad Dogs having the time of their fucking lives, and Leo and the Furious Five have the angsty teenager experience.
#rottmnt kfp crossover#kung fu panda x rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles au#rottmnt au#rottmnt au idea#IM GONNA MAKE MORE POSTS THAT MAKE MORE SENSE#IM SORRY THIS IS SO LONG#IM SORRY THIS MAKES BARELY ANY SENSE ANON I LOVE YOU HEARTS <3<3<3

T-22 days
8/18: plans changed -> hung out with just SC at her place
8/19: WFH together with LG at a cafe (my first time ever WFH at a cafe)
8/20: watch didi with matt
8/21: carbone lunch with matt
8/22: rubirosa and comedy cellar with matt
8/25: othership with T
8/26: switzerland
9/6: last dinner with T
9/7: last brunch with S&I
9/8: last hot pot dinner with LG
S & i decided to take a rain check on sunday. the initial plan was to go to A's place to visit her and her baby. however, because the commute is an hour long (includes train, bus, walking), i didn't want to risk being in a storm on the way home. there was 50% chance of rain during the day and the heavy storm was scheduled to start in the evening/night.
instead, we hung out at her apartment. got to use the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. i'm feeling lighter about the move, so it was really nice to have girl time. i hope we have more opportunities for 1:1 time in the future, instead of only with our SOs.
LG cooked me a fantastic italian dinner on friday. it was probably the most "romantic" gesture someone has ever done for me in the kitchen LOL. she had just returned from italy and made zucchini pasta with freshly grated cheese, and two types of crostinis. i was surprised by the amount of effort she put in, given that we've only really seen each other <10x. however, she seems overall like a high effort type of person. i was impressed by how well she maintained her apartment despite only being in NYC half the time. and at age 40, she started ceramics, signed up for swimming lessons at the YMCA, and just told me she's also doing a local spanish language learning class. i have admiration for her and definitely think "i wanna be like her when i'm 40".
i'm now feeling like a visitor on an extended vacation. i'm grateful to share these special moments with new(-ish) friends. a lot of the times while i was here, i really yearned for the comfort of old friends/family. however, now that i'm leaving, i know i will sort-of miss being uncomfortable LOL. i think i'll definitely incorporate some of my NYC lifestyle into my new LA lifestyle (i.e. putting myself out there more instead of staying in my comfort zone). i'm happy to have made 3 solid friendships (S, T, K) during my time here, and hopefully LG and i continue to keep in touch.
matt's work: he just completed his last day (night) at work last night! he's been in a much happier mood recently. things have been less chaotic and calmer since the job search ended. he'll have the next 1.5 months off before starting his new gig. i don't love that we'll most likely be together 24/7 from now until moving back, like literally <10 ft apart. but it is the last hurrah of surviving in a studio together for 4 years!
my work: work hasn't been overly busy, but has been constant. i may be PMSing but i fear that i've been coming off mean/condescending to A who i am still training. i'm trying my best to not let my frustration spill out in my emails and to continue giving her grace. sometimes i question if i'm expecting too much from someone new. this gave me a taste of what being in management may look like.
ceramics: i considered making more bowls and asking the studio or LG to ship it to me in LA if they aren't fired in time. i tried throwing on saturday and my mojo is gone. i decided i won't make any more things, but can go in and practice (maybe). i plan on buying one ceramics piece made by someone else in the studio as a souvenir.
fridge cleaning: we're keeping the contents in the fridge to a minimum and cleaning out the freezer. yesterday, i made an oxtail beef noodle soup. today, i'm making fish congee with the leftover frozen rice.
grocery stores: i used to always go to TJ, but have recently transitioned away from it. there would always be so many people (3 lines) and the process just became completely over stimulating to me. my fav grocery stores now are mr. beet and whole foods. i really like mr. beet for no frills produce. it's about a 20 min walk so it's an excuse to get steps in. i'm a fan of whole foods now for seafood and certain fruits/cheeses!

JEEZ. I’M STILL RECOVERING. anyway, i hope you guys enjoy this one bc i really enjoyed writing it 💖 🍑
[ foreversvt ] commented: I AM ON MY KNEES [ yoon1004 ] commented: is it jeonghan’s birthday or is it mine [ happy bday angel! ] commented: YOON JEONGHAN ???? [ twinkluvr69 ] commented: grrr wanna slurp those noodle arms like spaghetti
You continue scrolling through the comments left underneath the video, trying to keep your face composed as you come across more and more explicit reactions from fans all over the world. Seokmin had uploaded the video to Weverse as an innocent birthday prank for Jeonghan, but he probably had not anticipated just how horny their fans could get over a seemingly harmless video of Jeonghan doing some leg presses. To be fair to the fans though, you yourself had watched the clip several times and you would be lying if you didn’t say you were… affected.
“Well? What are they saying?” Jeonghan leans over to watch you scroll, and you are acutely aware of the warmth of his arm pressing against yours. The two of you are sitting on the floor of your living room with your backs resting against your couch, hanging out after a small birthday dinner with some of his other friends. As one of Jeonghan’s english-speaking friends, he had asked you to help him translate some of his birthday wishes before his day ended, though you’re not sure how to tell him that his fans are not exactly sending in wholesome professions of love.
Instead, you decide to try giving him some tamer versions in the hopes of satisfying him before you get to anything too blunt. “This user says you have noodle arms, but I think they like it so it’s okay.”
“Hey! I’ve been trying my best to get thicker, but not all of us can be born beefed up like Seungcheol.”
“You asked me what they said!” you laugh. “Most of these are just birthday messages anyway-- I’m sure you don’t need me to translate ‘Happy birthday, I love you!’ a thousand times.”
“Yeah, obviously I understand the more common phrases, but there’s so many that I don’t understand today for some reason!” Jeonghan huffs, then points to a comment that you had purposefully hid under your thumb. “Like okay, what’s that one say?”
[ seungcheolswife ] commented: wow the way this video made my pussy clench,,,,
“Uh,” you start, already feeling your ears go warm. Should you just lie? It’s not like he would be able to tell, right? You and Jeonghan are close, but not so close that you can just say these things to him. Especially when this comment may be hitting a little too close to home for you. Even now, you remember the bolt of arousal that shot to your pussy the moment you heard Jeonghan’s first grunt of effort. You bite your lip. No, Jeonghan really didn’t need to know about that. “I-it says something like ‘you made their heart flutter’.”
“Wait.” Jeonghan takes a moment to scan your face before his eyes narrow at you suspiciously. You give him your best innocent smile, but you already know he’s caught you. You had always been a shitty liar. “What does it really say? Is it bad?”
You sigh. Of course he hadn’t bought it. “No, it’s not bad. I just don’t know if you want to hear stuff like this…”
“Well now I have to know. Tell me exactly what it says.”
“E-exactly?” You meet Jeonghan’s stern gaze and you know that there’s no convincing him otherwise. What Jeonghan wants, Jeonghan gets. “I-it says that the video made their p-pussy clench.”
After several beats of silence, you look over to Jeonghan to see he is completely unaffected by the comment. Or maybe he is. His eyes glint mischievously in the light when he responds. “I said exactly, baby. Try again.”
Your whole body feels hot under his smug, expectant gaze; you should be surprised by the sudden pet name, but it only makes your mind fuzzy with the beginnings of arousal. You swallow thickly, unable to disobey him. “T-this video made m-my pussy clench.”
“So naughty… Just this short clip has your cute little pussy all needy,” Jeonghan clicks his tongue, but a knowing grin spreads on his lips. His words have you shifting in your seat in an attempt to relieve the dull ache setting in between your legs, though you don’t dare let it on. It’s clear Jeonghan is playing a game with you, and although you know you’re going to lose, you’ll be damned if you let him win so easily. “Let’s read some more, hm? Translate this one for me.”
[ daddy_hannie ] commented: omg i bet jeonghan makes the hottest sounds when he’s fucking
The comment he scrolls to nearly makes you whimper. It’s embarrassing how clearly you can recall the sound of each of his low groans coming through the screen, how sexy he sounded. Images of Jeonghan on top of you, his eyebrows furrowed as he grits out desperate groans of pleasure, leave you in a daze while your panties quickly dampen with your arousal.
“Go on.” Jeonghan’s firm tone only makes you squirm more, and this time he takes note of the way your breathing has gone shallow and how your eyes are already hazy.
“I bet Jeonghan makes the hottest sounds when he’s fucking,” you say softly.
Jeonghan chuckles, his breath tickling against your neck. “Now you’re just making me blush, sweetheart. I bet you’d make some pretty noises when I’m fucking into you too,” he muses casually. You finally let out a soft whine, tired of holding your breath as he moves to tuck a strand of your hair behind your ear.
“J-jeonghan…”
“Hm, I think we should read a couple more,” the boy says, ignoring you and scrolling through more of the comments. You pout - your wetness has already soaked through your panties, your cunt just aching for his attention, but of course Jeonghan isn’t done teasing you.
You’re wondering how long it will take for him to finally push your back to the floor and fuck you senseless when you spot a comment that might help you get you what you want quicker. ”I want to read this one,” you tell him, already rubbing your thighs together in anticipation.
[ ~hanniehae!~ ] commented: god i KNOW your dick is big like PLEASE I WANNA SUCK UR DICK SO BAD
He raises an amused eyebrow at you, and you wait for him to stop you, biting back a smile when he doesn’t. You make sure to look him in the eyes when you say it, his own dark eyes telling you that he’s impatient for you too, and you nearly let it out in a whine from how much you mean it. “Please Jeonghan… I want to suck your dick so bad.”
For a sliver of a moment, Jeonghan goes rigid. Then, his smug smile returns as he brings up a thumb to tug on your bottom lip. “Mmm, such a pretty mouth saying such filthy words,” he sighs, shaking his head. “If you wanted to put it to good use, all you had to do was ask, baby.”
Jeonghan chuckles at how eagerly you follow him as he moves to sit on the couch behind you, keeping his hold on your chin so that you keep your eyes on his. He has you kneel between his legs and you don’t waste any time in reaching for the button and zipper on his jeans.
The man helps you tug his pants and boxers down to his ankles, and your mouth waters at the sight of his hard cock springing back against his stomach. Of course it’s pretty just like the rest of him. “You’ve been teasing me all this time, but you’re already this hard?” you whisper tauntingly as you lean forward to ghost your lips over the base of his shaft.
Jeonghan’s shaky exhale does not go unnoticed by you, but his response comes out smooth as ever. “Could you blame me? You just looked so cute getting all worked up from saying all those dirty things about me. I bet your little panties are soaked through by now-- guh!” He lets out a surprised groan when you suddenly flatten your tongue against him, letting it drag slowly up to his tip.
“You talk too much.” You look up at him with a smile before you wrap your lips around his leaking tip, savoring the taste of him on your tongue. Teasingly, you swirl your tongue against his slit until you feel his hand thread through your hair, as though he’s begging you for more. You decide to be nice, lowering your mouth further down his cock, letting him feel the slide of your wet tongue on his sensitive skin.
A soft sigh leaves his lips at the sensation, pleasantly carding his fingers through your hair as you take as much of him as you can. “That’s it. Good girl.”
His praise has you clenching around nothing, and you whine as you steadily begin to bob your head along his hard cock, reveling in how he would let out small whimpers whenever you would lightly suckle on it.
Just as he gets used to the feeling of your mouth on him, you suddenly take him as deep as you can into your mouth, hollowing your cheeks tightly around his cock. “Oh, f-fuck!” Jeonghan lets out a strangled moan, his hips lifting from the couch to fuck further into your mouth.
You feel the tip of his cock hit the back of your throat, but it only spurs you on even more as you swallow around him, causing him to throw his head back in ecstasy. At this point, a dull ache starts setting in your jaw and drool begins to messily slip from the corners of your mouth as you return to sucking him at a more steady pace, and you feel your pussy throb from how dirty it all felt. Though you and Jeonghan did flirt occasionally, he had always felt off-limits to you-- he’s an idol and you’re just one of his normal-person friends. But here you are with his cock in your mouth, all thanks to the horny thoughts of his fans no less.
To their credit, they were right. Jeonghan does make the hottest sounds while fucking. He lets out another throaty groan from above you and, unexpectedly, he pulls you off his cock. His pupils are blown wide with desire, his chest heaving slightly as he looks at the state you’re in with your swollen lips and the drool on your chin. “Can I fuck your mouth?” he asks breathlessly.
“Yes please,” you reply, voice already a little hoarse from your efforts. You shift back on your knees to make room for Jeonghan when he stands, opening your mouth obediently when he moves to slide his cock back onto your tongue. Jeonghan tightens his grip on your hair, keeping you still as he starts to fuck into your mouth with quick, shallow thrusts. “Mmh!”
“Fuck, your mouth feels so fucking good, baby,” Jeonghan sighs appreciatively. You bring your hands up to grip at the backs of his thighs to keep yourself steady when his thrusts become a little more erratic, causing you to gag around him as his cock continues to hit the back of your throat. Still, all your focus remains on hearing more of Jeonghan’s pleasured groans, on seeing his face scrunch up in absolute bliss, so you keep your mouth open wide despite the tears that prick at your eyes. When Jeonghan looks down at you taking his cock, eyes glazed over and fucked out, he curses loudly. “Shit-- can I come in your mouth?”
Unable to speak with your mouth stuffed full, you cutely give him a thumbs up. Jeonghan would have laughed if he wasn’t so close to cumming. With several more thrusts, he cries out a strained warning before his hot release fills your mouth. He rides out his orgasm, twitching in your hold as his pleasure bleeds into oversensitivity. Once he’s pulled out, you make sure to stick your tongue out so he can see how his cum coats your tongue right before you swallow it all down; all he can do is smile thinking about how he really should have fucked you sooner.
“So good for me,” Jeonghan says to you softly, helping you up to your feet so that he can pull you into a heated kiss full of tongue and whimpers. You desperately grip onto Jeoghan’s shirt, pressing your body against him in search for some sort of relief for the arousal that is pumping through you and straight to your neglected pussy. He can’t help but smile against your lips. “Don’t worry, baby, I’ll take care of you now.”
You let him lead you to sit on the couch-- this time you are the one sitting on the edge of the cushions with Jeonghan’s head between your legs. He slides a hand over your clothed core, humming when he finds that you really have soaked straight through your panties. Just as you begin to squirm underneath his teasing fingers, he strips you of both your leggings and underwear in one swift movement, leaving you bare before him.
The sight of him pushing your legs apart is enough to leave you in a daze. Your breath catches when you feel cool air brushing against your inner thighs, slick with your wetness, then it all comes out in a whine when you feel Jeonghan’s velvet tongue swipes at the spot for a taste. “O-oh!” a cry slips from your lips once his tongue finally slides through your folds. “Mmh!”
“Does it feel good?” Jeonghan whispers, not bothering to wait for a proper answer because your broken moans tell him to keep going. He spreads your lips open with his fingers, eating you out slowly and deliberately as though he is savoring his favorite meal.
The room is filled with your soft whimpers and the lewd sounds of Jeonghan’s mouth working against your pussy and it only tightens the pressure in your stomach, causing your toes to curl. “P-please-- please let me cum,” you rasp out, and your eyes roll to the back, your hand clutching tightly at the back of Jeonghan’s head, at the feeling of his tongue flattening against your clit. “Ngh! Y-yes!”
He skillfully flicks his tongue on your bud, shaking his head back and forth until his chin is absolutely covered in your juices. When your hips begin to move of their own accord, he lets you ride his face as you please, his cock twitching at how desperate you are for him. “S-so good,” you sob, only able to mutter unintelligible nonsense in your delirium. Then, he wraps his mouth around your clit, and you’re left squealing as your legs begin to shake from how obscenely good it feels. “Shit, I-- I’m--!”
You come undone with a loud cry of Jeonghan’s name, your body going rigid from how hard your orgasm hits you. Jeonghan takes it all, his eyes closed as he works you through your release, only letting up when you slump away from him.
The both of you finally look at each other properly in the aftermath, chests heaving and hair wild. Suddenly you’re both erupting in giggles at the realization of what you two had just done. “What are you looking at?” Jeonghan asks, eyes bright as he smiles handsomely up at you.
You reach down to swipe your thumb against his chin, which is still shining with your cum, barely able to contain your giggles. “Who’s got the dirty mouth now?”

Whumptober 2022 day 19
Knees Buckling | Repeatedly Passing Out | Head Lolling
Have I got my mojo back? Am I gonna actually catch up today? Maybe! Maybe...this certainly is nearly 2,000 words long!
Philippa wonders where Joleta’s got to during a party at St Mary’s. It’s lucky someone’s looking for her...
CW: overdose, respiratory problems, references to teen sex and underage drinking/drug abuse, passing reference to death of close family member.
---
Philippa had seen Joleta leave the party, but not come back. She'd said she was just getting a beer, and Philippa had thought, this time, that it had been a genuine announcement - she hadn't detected any mocking shiftiness or secrecy in her friend's voice, no ulterior motive she had kept from Philippa.
But she had been gone for a long time.
Philippa didn't want to appear needy by going after her. She was still feeling tender and uncharitable after the row they'd had about Mr Crawford. Joleta was really just a friend of convenience, after all. She wasn't like Philippa. She was brash and impulsive, flighty and easily bored. She claimed she knew how to take care of herself, and she would only tut and roll her eyes if she knew Philippa was worrying about her.
Philippa fidgeted with her plastic cup of lemonade as she considered this, throwing the occasional polite smile at Mariotta Crawford and the baby in her arms. Mariotta was chatting to Kate in a nervous, high-pitched tone that was playing havoc with Philippa's already stretched nerves, and though Kate was speaking soothingly to her in response, Philippa longed to leave them and find some other conversation she could join.
Without Joleta, it was hard to know where to go. Philippa was perfectly happy to make conversation once in a group, but joining any of the clusters of people dotted about the great hall was the most daunting part of an evening. Joleta would stride confidently up to anyone, her arm looped in Philippa's, her chin high and her manner imperious, and that would be that. She couldn't be put off by any amount of boyish sniggering or eyerolls - which on her own, Philippa would simply decline to deal with.
Philippa on her own had to wait for someone else to invite her in, which rarely happened - to many of the other musicians, she was aware, it felt like having to babysit their way through a party. So she was stuck with the mothers, and occasionally encouraged to walk round with a bowl of crisps to see if anyone wanted to line their stomachs while drinking.
No, Joleta wasn't like her - except for the fact that she was the only other teenage musician in St Marys Collective. The only other teenage girl in a largely male studio environment, where Mr Crawford's friends liked to brag about their skills and their tastes, and spoke savagely to anyone whose musical preferences differed from what they considered the canon.
Philippa sighed and sipped at her lemonade, but she'd already filled up on the sweet, fizzy drink, and couldn't stomach anymore. She put the cup down and went to leave the hall, her arms folded across her smart party sweater, one releasing only so she could reach up and tuck her brown hair back behind an ear.
"Philippa?" Kate called reflexively.
She didn't mean to be clingy, Philippa reminded herself. But since Dad had died Kate liked to be sure she knew where the rest of her family was.
"I'm just going to the loo, Mum. Too much lemonade."
"Ok! Will you spend a penny for me too, while you're there?"
Philippa's lips twisted in a smile and she rolled her eyes. "No Mum, you have to spend it yourself..."
"Oh, offspring, you are cruel!" Kate teased.
Philippa sighed again and shuffled out of the room, her shoulders hunched to make herself small. She was annoyed at herself for giving in and going in search of Letty. If the men at the party felt like they were babysitting her from time to time, Philippa also knew what it was like to have to babysit Joleta, no matter how well she claimed she could look after herself.
She wandered up and down the corridor and decided Joleta wasn't downstairs. She wasn't outside the front door or the kitchen patio door either - she'd smoke inside, but she was always on the look out for boys she could get to invite her out for a snog behind the clematis.
Philippa trudged upstairs. She wished Joleta could just enjoy herself without the drink and the cigarettes and the boys and the drugs. She was much more fun when they just jammed together, drinking cups of tea in their shared room - even the make-up tutorials and girly magazines were tolerable if Philippa could laugh at the agony aunt column and the silly horoscopes at the back while Joleta did her hair.
She wasn't in their room, and Philippa peeked into all the other open doors there were along the mezzanine level. She tiptoed past one in which Mr Crawford was having a whispered, urgent conversation with someone else - a man with a very thick accent, whose words Philippa couldn't make out. She hesitated, but they weren't talking about Joleta, and Philippa was starting to worry at not finding her friend yet.
It made her suspicious then, to note that the door to Mr Crawford's room was ajar and that a light was on inside. He always left it shut, if not locked, when he was out - and Philippa knew he wasn't in there right now.
She remembered Joleta bragging about the time she'd spent in Dumbarton with him. She had turned up in the middle of the night, got into Philippa's bed wearing her jogging bottoms and t-shirt, and had insisted on talking Philippa through everything. She'd smelled of sickly strawberry shower gel and lip gloss and her voice had been odd in the dark, brittle and quick, almost like she was having to hurry to convince herself of all she said. Philippa, therefore, had assumed she was making a good deal of it up.
But not all of it. Letty wasn't completely delusional.
Philippa cleared her throat and pushed at the open door.
What if one of Mr Crawford's...grown-up friends were in there? Someone like Ms O'Dwyer, or, what had Swami Vadan called them, his 'tour bus twinks'...
She let her knuckles fall against the wood as she pushed, so there was a very soft knocking sound. "H...hello?"
No reply. Philippa peeked inside and stifled a squeak.
Letty was lying on top of the bed covers in nothing but her underwear. Her legs were a relaxed tangle, one of her arms was thrown out at an odd angle, and her cascading apricot hair tumbled over her lolling head, permed curls obscuring her face.
"Joleta?!" Philippa darted forwards and got onto the bed, all self-consciousness about being in the room gone in an instant. "Letty! Letty can you hear me?"
There was a scattering of small white pills on the duvet that rolled out from under Joleta's arm when Philippa's knee depressed the mattress nearby. The pot they'd fallen out of was half under the pillow.
Philippa grabbed it, but between the German label and the long pharmaceutical name, she didn't understand any of the words she read, and tutted impatiently. She checked Joleta's pulse - oh god, oh god it was faint - and stroked the hair away from her face.
Her features looked blue and puffy and Philippa let out a terrified squeak. She checked for the pulse at her neck this time and tried to shift her so she could breathe more freely.
Joleta's head just lolled against the pillow uncooperatively and Philippa felt desperate tears start to prick at her eyes.
"No, no, no, come on Letty, work with me, hinny..." her accent thickened as her voice did, and Philippa, her hands shaking, gave up and ran to the doorway. She screamed and hollered as loud as she could - all the cathartic, necessary noise she usually only let herself make through the fiddle and the pipes came out of her lungs directly now.
Mr Crawford was nearby - he'd know what to do. Philippa could see he hadn't touched Letty that night, whatever she'd been hoping for. He would help.
He was coming, too, bolting from the room she'd seen him in earlier - but he was going to arrive at the same time as Joleta's brother.
Swami Geetesh bounded up the stairs, his swishing pink robes belying the smooth athleticism of his movements. How had he been the one to hear her and no one else from downstairs? Philippa thought despairingly.
"Philippa?" Mr Crawford looked at her, then at the doorway - the bed would be hidden from view, but he seemed to understand, anyway. "Shit, what's happened?" he brushed past her.
"It's Joleta..." she began miserably.
She couldn't have hoped to stop Swami Geetesh from sweeping past too.
"Good god!" he was already exclaiming before he'd rounded the door. "What have you done to her?"
Then they were yelling - it wasn't like Mr Crawford to lose his cool, but he was gesturing with the empty pill bottle and Swami Geetesh, who also never spoke above a gentle murmur, let his deep voice rumble over Mr Crawford's furious accusations, drowning them with his own.
Philippa blinked at the spectacle - Joleta was still lying between them, unattended, undressed. Adam and Archie and Swami Vadan and others were coming upstairs, rushing to the sound of the argument, and Philippa saw that no one else was going to call an ambulance.
Mr Crawford kept a phone plugged in on the far side of the bed, and Philippa slammed the door in Swami Vadan's shocked face and pulled the lock across. She dashed to the phone, but could barely hear the tone over the men shouting.
"Stop it! Will you both shut up!!" she yelped.
Gasping, she saw that she'd created a pocket of silence. Mr Crawford was half-turned to her, and he ran a hand through his yellow hair contritely and gestured at the phone with a nod. Swami Geetesh shook his head. He bent to his sister and tried to move her, to sweep her up off the covers.
"What are you doing?!" Francis snapped.
"I'm getting her out of here."
"She needs an ambulance!"
"Out here? We'll be waiting hours. I'm taking her myself. Away from you."
"You shouldn't move her!"
Philippa, exasperated, tears in her eyes, shouted again: "Put her down! She can't breathe!"
Joleta's body was limp in Geetesh's arms. Her head flopped backwards over his elbow - Philippa thought of the dead chicken she'd found one morning in the yard at Flaw Valleys, killed by the fox in a frenzy, but let uneaten. Joleta was gasping a little, it was audible but evidently strained, like everything inside her was as swollen and puffy as her face. Her arms hung straight down, and her hair was a mass of tangled curls.
Swami Geetesh allowed a small frown to pass over his face like the warning of a coming storm. "I think I know what's best for my sister, young lady."
Philippa gaped at him, but the operator on the other end of the line spoke calmly and confidently into her ear: "999, which emergency service do you require?"
Philippa let her eyes fall shut in relief. "Ambulance."
They put her through, and she glared at Geetesh as she explained what she could - Mr Crawford murmured the name of the pills and Philippa repeated it carefully - until the operator audibly, crisply instructed her to make sure Joleta lay on her side with her airways clear. Mr Crawford gestured to the bed, inviting Geetesh to choose whether or not he was going to contradict the medical professional.
Philippa hung up and said hoarsely, "It won't be more than twenty minutes, they say."
"You can't get to Glasgow in twenty minutes, Swami," Francis told Geetesh softly, firmly. "Not by driving legally. And I won't let you risk her by driving any other way."
"You won't let me risk her?" Geetesh echoed furiously. He was so focussed on Francis that he ignored Philippa creeping back towards the door. She'd remembered that Swami Vadan had first aid training, and given how much he looked up to Geetesh, he'd surely find a way to stop Geetesh from letting him down.
Philippa slid the bolt back on the lock and turned the handle, even as Joleta let out another squeaky, strangled breath - this one seemed to stop unfinished though, and Philippa could no longer hear her breath as the others piled into the room.

Happy 13th Deancasversary! This is 1166 words of abject fluff in celebration. Post-canon but of the Good Canon that lives in my head, which is what they deserve. :’)
Or read it on AO3
Dean had no idea what time it was. Early, probably. It was impossible to tell without rolling over and looking at the clock, and he wasn’t nearly awake enough to bother with that yet.
He took in a deep breath in the darkness of his room and puzzled over the wispy fragments of the dream he’d been having before something woke him up. Calling out for Cas in the echoless nothingness of the Empty, silent footsteps pounding into the void, and the talisman that Rowena had made for him biting into the flesh of his palm as he struggled to cling to that tiny beacon of hope. He relived some variation on that dream almost every time he slept since he’d experienced it live and in the flesh. Now that he was well and truly awake, Dean could fully appreciate the results. It had truly become his favorite daily ritual.
Cas stirred in his arms. From months of experience, Dean knew he was likely waking from a similarly intense dream. Without even thinking about it, Dean’s hand gently ran up and down Cas’s back, soothing him into wakefulness.
“Hey, Cas. I got you. I’m here,” Dean whispered.
They were the first words he’d said to Cas when he’d found him in the Empty and wrenched him free from its inky grasp. Now he made sure they were the first words Cas heard every morning. As Cas blinked up at him in the darkness only illuminated by the soft glow of the clock behind Dean’s shoulder, Dean smiled down at him and gently ran his fingers through Cas’s mussed hair.
“Morning,” Dean said quietly.
Cas closed his eyes and hummed, resting his head back on Dean’s shoulder.
“Is it really, though?”
Dean laughed. “Far as I know, yeah. It was after midnight when we went to sleep, so technically it’s been morning for a while, no matter what time it is.” Cas opened his mouth and Dean kept talking because he knew what Cas was gonna ask next. “And no, I have no idea what time it is. Someone needs to let me put a clock on his nightstand so I can see it without having to move.”
Cas grumbled out, “We don’t need two clocks.”
Dean shrugged. “Then you’re gonna have to let go of me if you wanna know what time it is.”
Cas held on tighter. “I don’t care what time it is.”
Dean’s heart fluttered the same way it did every time they had this conversation. And then he grinned, because he was about to throw a new line at Cas. Maybe he should’ve said something sooner, but he wanted this to be special. They’d kept far too many terrible secrets over the years trying to protect each other. He wanted just once to keep a secret for all the right reasons, and he’d been waiting so patiently to finally share the joy of it with Cas.
“Yeah, sure, but do you know what day it is?”
Cas was quiet for a minute, trying mightily to recon with linear time without whatever automatic calendar had been built into the angel mojo he’d left behind in the Empty.
“Some time in mid-September?” Cas suggested hesitantly. “It might be Saturday. Is that specific enough?”
Dean laughed softly again, giving Cas’s shoulder a gentle squeeze. “It’s thirteen years to the day since you gripped me tight and raised me from Perdition.”
He wasn’t sure what sort of reaction that statement would inspire in Cas, and waited only a few tense moments to find out. Cas squirmed in his arms so that he could see Dean’s face. Unsatisfied with the fact that Dean was mostly backlit from the clock, Cas reached over his shoulder and switched on the lamp, and then squinted against the warm glow that filled the room. Dean laid back and smiled up at him while Cas blinked down at him.
“September 18, 2008. Thirteen years ago today. Dean...”
Dean shook his head and pulled Cas back down. “We’ve known each other thirteen years.”
“That suddenly seems like a very long time,” Cas replied. “Thirteen years ago I would’ve barely noticed the passing of centuries, and now this one ordinary day seems like an important milestone to be celebrated.”
Dean hummed with satisfaction as Cas snuggled back down against him with a contented sigh. He fumbled around behind him on the nightstand for his phone, and snapped a quick picture of the two of them looking all sleep-warm and satisfied together. They just looked at themselves for a minute until Dean’s phone screen timed out and shut off, and Dean slipped the phone onto the shelf above their heads.
“We look content,” Cas commented after a silent moment. “Happy, even.”
“Well, yeah, Cas. Probably because we are, right?
Cas smiled up at him again. “In ways that I never believed were even possible, yes.”
Dean huffed out an amused little noise. “I wonder what we would’ve thought about that picture thirteen years ago?”
“I would’ve thought it was some sort of sorcery most likely,” Cas replied. “You probably would’ve claimed it was photoshopped.”
Dean laughed again. “Yeah, probably. We had no idea the sort of shit we were in for back then.”
“I’d do it all again in a heartbeat,” Cas replied. “As long as I knew we’d still end up here. I’d choose you every time, Dean.”
Dean kissed Cas’s forehead and hummed in agreement. “I’m starting to realize just how true that is. You kinda did that a lot over the years, even when I had no idea and it just felt like you were leaving me again.”
Cas looked up at him, heartbreak clear in his eyes. “I don’t want to talk about leaving you right now. I never want to do that again.”
“You damn well better not,” Dean replied. “After all the trouble I went through to drag you home last time.”
Cas nodded, and then pulled Dean into a deep and tender kiss, one hand gently holding Dean’s cheek. “Now you’ve gripped me tight and saved me from the Empty. I think we’re finally on the same page. We’ve saved each other. You told me once that you’re supposed to keep gifts. And this is a gift I never thought we’d be allowed to have.”
“It makes a great story, though,” Dean replied. “Past us would never believe it.”
“I think past us would be very happy for present us.”
“Well, yeah, they’d agree we deserve to be happy. Even if they were a little confused about it back then.”
Cas slid his hand down Dean’s shoulder to the place his handprint had been burned into Dean’s soul in the moment they’d first technically met. “I’m beginning to think that past us couldn’t have had any idea what happiness truly meant.”
“I have it on good authority that they eventually figured it out for themselves,” Dean replied. “Happy anniversary.”
Cas squeezed his shoulder and grinned. “Happy anniversary, Dean.”
