Court case for the jokers punishment

So the joker got an infection and eventually kicked the bucket

Bruce is nutral if a little sad

Jason is pissed he couldn't kill him

And all of the other batfam are releived that the jokers not out and about anymore, and atleast the family fight on the joker ends

During a family meeting to discuss the jokers death a Lazarus pit opened up and a...butler? Servent? Footman? Who knowes! someone in a suit...

Oh and he was floating off the ground and translucent

The batfam were on high alert and instant attack mode, damian tried to stab the guy and ended up tumbling through him

Bruce walked up and intended to intimidate him, but the guy walked through him...and right for jason

He flipped a page and rather than another log thing there were pictures, mostly id photos and things accessible to the public, but there were also alot of photos that looked like tim took them when he was playing watchdog

And dew to your unique standing with parties that for whatever reason (the big bad bat, you know who) may want to joker to get a lighter sentence than diserved the batman will not have nor get any power or say over the conditions of the joker. he will not have any say and you do not have to lisen to him on any matters concerning this trial

- "no one, im mysterious" -> evidence for her not being from this dimension, if no one can give a lot of information about her

- reveals jack is her baby! (not followed by a glitch)

- says the past couple years "since the move" (between dimensions?) were weird for her

- believes the incidents they work with are real, and im certain shes in the same boat as the audience rn, trying to categorize them with background knowledge that isnt accurate anymore

sam:

- easy to make blush, doesnt know how cute he is, is an overachiever, obsessive, a but repressed, nosy, kind of a recluse, and very easy to wind up

- gifted kid syndrome poster child; he seems to view being turned away by the magnus institute as the beginning of his rejection streak (not admitted to oxford, didnt get first, got fired from his legal firm). i think this will be a major point in his motivations and a fear of rejection and need for validation is going to drive him to receive the greatness he wants (and believes he has earned). i can already see a corruption arc brewing for him, poor thing

- did NOT tell celia about his experiences in the institute or what his "incident" was (referring to lena's interview where she asked him what the worst thing he's seen/experienced was). this isnt super sketchy considering its a first date, but is interesting since he was the one who wanted "all the baggage" out early

- he doesn't want to accept that the incidents are real, but i think he does believe in them. he brought the topic up to celia and has asked alice about it before too, so he may be aware that the incidents are real, but is unwilling to fully conceptualize what that means for himself and his world view

- says that alice doesnt love the idea of him seeing celia, which means he may have picked up on her feelings for him

gwen:

- feels guilty over instigating the mr.bonzo incident -> whats really interesting is that she doesnt threaten to quit or not be involved, she accepts that she gas another email to look through and another external to interact with, but it seems to upset her

- she asks lena why this (externals and mr bonzo murder) is happening, implying that she can stomach the work if its for a reason

lena:

- gives gwen the ABCs of genre-awareness:

- this dimension also has "opposing forces- most of them meaning to be harmful.

- these "forces" need to be "balanced" and controlled in order to maintain order in the world/system -> still working off of a smirke-esque theory that retaining balance will keep the world secure. i dont know if she means balance between forces of good and evil or forces in the supernatural sense

- says the OIAR is managing the bad guys, as in monitoring their actions and directing externals to "balance" things

alice:

- actually offended that sam doesnt want to share information with her and isnt having a good time knowing sam and celia are seeing each other

- tells sam "he cant prove anything" about the cases being real, but doesnt tell him hes wrong

- dated at uni, previously stated they were together for several years. it seems to have been a decent split since they stayed in contact afterward.

- she contacted him w the OIAR job details after he made an exceptionally pathetic vague post

- centered around gambling and self harm to achieve success- this draws ties to episode 2 (self harm) and episode 9 (luck). i expect this is more aligned with ep 9, as the self harm seems to be in the interest of changing his odds/luck, and the incident is primarily about gaining external success, not physical change. though, ep 2 could be a personal experience with ink5oul that is not representative with their "force"

- the narrator of this statement was quick to actively sacrifice his own well being to achieve better luck, which is a pretty stark contrast to other people who looked to harm other people in their own interest (violin guy and dice guy, i forgot their names sorry!!)

- zorro trader may be a reoccurring organization in relation to gambling

- the narrators options for his debt were to either pay it back or have a personal adjustment, once he completes the voicemail he is transferred to the adjustments apartment, which was not an option on the original call log and something he did not request

- he is promptly adjusted :)

- i think this could be related to the theme of keeping balance, since the incident narrator claims it isnt wrong to play with the loophole, and it ends with him getting what he owes, which is a nice connection to lena's explanation of the OIAR's purpose

- i really didnt expect an explanation of the OIAR and its position in this so early, and im surprised lena was the one to reveal it. this exposes that shes pretty open with the staff she feels are on a need-to-know basis, and it also changes my expectations for how we'll come across a big reveal in this series, since information is being given in a more open way

- i think alice and celia definitely know something but in opposing ways- acting as foils to each other with sam (information seeker) in the middle. celia knows about how the fears work in the tma dimension, and alice knows why and what the OIAR are really doing- together, they solve the puzzle that sam is trying to piece together.

the most logical one imo would be her seeing them while doibg their job, but im a sucker for corruption so lets switch things up a bit;

reader's father is the owner of the company that yelena belongs to. whenever you visit your father during work, you're always told to NEVER go down into the basement under any condition. of course, that leaded to that place piquing your interest.

one day you'd sneak into there, fascinated by the illuminated tubes of chemicals and the amount of files piled up in there. in the wall of the basement, there's a room where a bright light shown through. you went to go check it out, your curiosity getting the better of you.

it was a small white room, you can see inside through a window. inside was a tall thin woman with blonde hair. you tried to get closer without her noticing, but of course, you just had to be clumsy and knock something over.

she quickly turned around from where she was sitting pressing her hands against the window as she inspected you. as you grew closer, you just realized how much taller she was than you.

her eyes sparkled in amazement, she's never seen you before. you arent wearing that white robe like the rest of them. you arent carrying anything to take notes on, it looks like it. you werent like them, have you came here just to see her? not to do those horrible things to her?

the more she inspected you, the more curious she got. she wanted to touch you, to know what you felt like; run her hands through your hair, compare her hands to yours, squish you everywhere, maybe you wouldnt try and hurt her like they do.

her eyes darted to the control board and back to you. you quickly followed, you knee what she wanted. your eyes scanned over a red button with black and yellow stripes surrounding it. you looked back to her and she nodded up and down. you would regret this later, but not now. you pressed it and the door slid open.

almost immediately, she darted towards you. she cornered you against the glass, watching you carefully. you were still underneath her, whimpering in fear. for once she felt in control.

she lifted her hands, cautiously approaching you to see if you would attack. much to her surprise, you didnt. she gripped your wrists felt up your arms, comparing her hand to yours, intertwining your fingers with hers, anything.

her hands traveled lower, at one point squishing your chest. your breasts were bigger than hers. she loved it. she played with your tummy and your love handles as well. she leaned in closer and closer to your face. your eyes were big, beautiful, wide in surprise. your face was hot with embarrassment, plump lips open in shock.

with a raspy, deep voice, she'd mumble; 'pretty..'

Hi sorry i havent been posting as much on here FEWFERHR

I swear im still fixated on DMG stuff (especially hex, again), ive just been busy writing stuff for it and general stuff not related to it. I am working on a fic so i’ll probably be posting it soon!

but anyway as apologies for not posting, here’s some fun facts/cheat codes from The Hex that some people might not know:

In the Hex, it is very possible to accidently get softlocked or corrupt your save data. I know that the game has had many patches but i still managed to get softlocked by complete accident. So if you ever lose your save data for whatever reason, shift + A + S unlocks the chapter select so you’re free to continue where ever you left off or just want to play a certain section

Also this game has an in-game speedrun timer. Not kidding. Doing shift + R has the timer show up and start counting. I don’t know much of the mechanics of it like how to pause it or whatnot but if you ever wanted to see how fast you can beat a section, here you go. 

So i ripped the game using asset studio and found some interesting stuff, like did you know there’s actually a clean version of the inn theme in the files? Literally the official ost does not have it nor have i ever found a yt video with it and honestly im a little upset about it cause it’s really good 

In the scene where Irving is talking to Lionel, I think there is audio of Lionel talking to him backwards but i haven’t been able to figure out how to isolate the audio and reverse it to get what exactly he’s saying. One of these days ill figure it out

ok this isnt really a fun fact more as it is a genuine question but to any Hex experts out there: Does Jeremiah wear a tophat in game? I found a sprite of it several times in the files but I can literally never recall him wearing it in game. It might just be leftover sprite from the beta (There might be more sprites like that that I’m not aware of yet) and probably was cut?? But again, I’m not 100% sure.

Update on that last point: He does wear it in the main menu if you wait for the lightning to strike and look at the attic window (thats him btw if anyone didnt know) and in the settings! It’s usually obscured in shadows and in the files, it’s completely colored in and detailed, which is super neat. Shoutouts to @theblacksheepcz for telling me in the replies!! <3

Like with Inscryption, there are some default sprites and stuff from unity leftover but it’s not as cool as the strip club being found in ACT 3. Just default emojis and the logo of Unity. 

Ok last one and its another genuine question too: When looking up the characters’ “voices”, it’s actually just one little sound and that’s it. It’s pretty funny if you listen to it for the first time. In the dialogue text files, I did see that there’s code that basically makes it so that it pitches or sounds a certain way during cutscenes and interreacting with characters/objects. If anyone who sees this and gets this far knows how that works, I would love to hear it!
