I'd love Tim to be cloned by Ra's Al Ghul and just, have no idea. Ra's keeps it so secret not even Talia knows because he's paranoid that Tim will find out. I'd prefer the clone to be a girl, because Ra's is hella biased against women and he's totally underestimated a female Tim. Whether or not the clone has Tim's memories is up for debate but she does have his curiosity and sneakiness.

So Clone Tim (henceforth referred to as CT) finds out she was cloned because Ra's is obsessed with Tim after he blew up Ra's bases and survived Ra's personally trying to kill him. She is. Not happy. Here's where it can diverge. If CT has Tim's memories then she didn't need to find this out, but she has no one coming for her and is not sure of her welcome if she makes it away from Ra's. And it is an If. Without killing, her chances of winning any fight are low (with an unfamiliar body that hasn't been trained and no weapons) and she's probably not familiar with where she's currently being kept. So, she either chooses to escaping when she's finally left alone and try to signal for help or (and I like this one) she decides Ra's is an exception and she's not making it out of here without taking him out. He'll track her down and just take her back. Remember no one knows she exists, so no one is searching for her and many people would love to get their hands on a vulnerable Red Robin/Robin/Bat whether for info or revenge. So she kills Ra's, preferably without evidence, and then burns the body so one can put him in the Pit.

Or, CT does NOT have Tim's memories and finds out about Tim when she investigates. Now, I love feral Tim Drake AUs so much and I love the idea that young Tim was naturally just feral as a part of his personality. So CT, no memories would Absolutely take Ra's out. Children are taught morals by their families and by society. CT Would be taught that killing is good by Ra's (however long he's had her). I picture her at about 10-12 years old (she's probably only been alive for a couple moths to a year). She might or might not know about the Pits but would probably burn the body anyway to get rid of the evidence.

Now this is where it crosses into DP. CT has 2 choices (with and without Tim memories). She can either find someone to get her to the Bats or she can avoid them. I personally think that CT would avoid them. If she has Tim's memories then she knows Damian wants Tim dead. Would that extend to her? Not to mention Jason. CT probably wouldn't be willing to risk it, not with having broken the no kill rule as well. That's right, either way I think CT would have had to kill Ra's to escape. She doesn't really have the resources or allies to escape without killing him. If she doesn't have Tim's memories then all she knows is that she killed someone, and being a clone (made by Ra's Al Ghul nonetheless) is not will to risk going to the Bats for help.

Here's where it crosses into the DP universe. So CT is just traveling, exploring the world, when she runs into another girl doing the same thing. Maybe they both break into the same house. Maybe they both get into a fight. Maybe they literally one into another. But they decide to team up, after talking to each other. If you guessed Dani Phantom, you guessed correctly! Two blue-eyed, black-haired girls just sightseeing across the world. Together they get into twice the amount of trouble but also get out of it much easier with a partner. They bond over being clones made by evil rich men. Dani uses her invisibility to help them make a quick escape. CT would hack (without her memories I think she'd learn to do it as a necessity and to have something in common with her original) into evil people/organizations to find targets. The two of them, without any supervision? Would totally steal from and ruin anybody they thought deserved it. Also, researching interesting places on the internet and then just, going there.

I love the idea of these two just messing with any hero that comes after them. The panic that Tim would get into if he found out? Not to mention the rest of the Bats. How do track someone down if they can just go invisible and fly?

NATASJA MAGNUSDOTTIR wasn’t so much of a miracle as she was their saving grace. when she was young, she was easily manipulated, easy to make into exactly the image that magnus wanted in a princess. ros hated the idea, but she was gone before the plan truly came to fruition. natasja grew up in the shadow of her mother and under the thumb of her father, never allowed to have her own opinions or feelings before she moved off to boarding school. her entire life had a point: she was meant to be the best iceland had to offer. but there was a downside: she’d only meet her potential through a marriage. a childhood betrothal that failed led to a string of engagements that made her famous. and when worst came to worst, natasja finally decided to flip the script and be her own kind of princess.  

the two siblings have a relationship based on competition. every moment of their life was a race to see who could do things first, do them better, make a bigger scene. while they like to pretend they’ve grown up, the two of them still bicker like children constantly. deep down, though, it all comes from a place of love. from the moment aleksander announced he didn’t actually want the throne, they have both mellowed out considerably, especially now that natasja will do anything to keep her half-sister out of the family’s affairs.

magnus met KRISTIN BJORNSDOTTIR two years into his marriage. he only wished he’d met her first before ros. but that hope passed when he realized they never would have been allowed to marry. still, they fell deeply in love. she wasn’t fit for rule, no matter how much he loved her. his people never would have approved of him marrying a random woman from eskifjörður, a fisherman’s daughter without anything to her name. no, ros was perfect for being the queen, but kristin was perfect for magnus himself. it was a real love, not like the fleeting love he felt for ros, or the relief he felt when she gave him a son. but things went downhill faster than he’d expected. when kristin told him she was pregnant after a visit to the north, magnus panicked and disappeared from her life.  

TALIA KRISTINSDOTTIR was born in reykjavik, just ten days before natasja would be born in the same hospital. magnus didn’t know until after the fact, was never involved in talia’s upbringing. talia grew into everything natasja wasn’t allowed to be: a free spirit, someone who chased happiness more than anything else. and she never knew that royal blood was in her veins, had no idea that she was different from the other kids in her neighborhood. she thought the idea of royalty was vain, even a little stupid in the modern age. when she turned five, magnus began to pay for them to live comfortably in kopavogur, but that was the extent of their contact until talia was nineteen.  

with aleksander and natasja out of the palace, magnus felt like he could reconcile with kristin. he still kept it as quiet as possible, but he was comfortable with the way that people seemed to pay more attention to his children than him. and it had been so long since ros died, since he’d had anyone near him. the reasons to actually just marry kristin won him over after years of talking about it, and they were wed on a cold october weekend with talia as their witness. his children were, naturally, pissed. but there was nothing that could be done about it. all natasja could do was worry about her own place in the line of succession, and aleksander to support his neurotic sister through the worst of it. the thing is: even if talia were a legitimate heir (which natasja claims she is not), there is no universe where she could see herself as the queen of iceland. not that natasja or aleksander would know that, they simply assumed her motives and never bothered to ask.

when they were little, magnus and EGILLS KARLSSON got along like a house on fire. they were children, then, still allowed to truly be kids. but then their father chose magnus and never gave any attention to his spare and egills never truly forgave either of them for it. he met EYJA SIGMUNDSDOTTIR in downtown reykjavik, while he was drowning his sorrows at the nearest bar. she was everything, offering him a love that his family had convinced him he didn’t deserve. he married her, even if his father hated the idea. and then he moved to his duchy in akureyri, and never looked back. when the two died in a boating accident in 2010, they left behind two young daughters who had to figure out their own way in the world of politics they were unprepared for. 

RIPLEY EGILLSDOTTIR is the eldest, the very definition of a spitfire. everything about her can be boiled down to the raw aggression that she approaches each situation with. while the nation had hoped that someone who was two deaths away from being queen might have a better temperament, ripley didn’t care to please the people around her. she approached her critics with the same attitude: a middle finger up to show that she didn’t care one bit about what anyone had to say about her life. and maybe she was raised like that, with a father who always felt he was never allowed to be his own person. she was seventeen when their parents died, and she had to harden her heart even further to hold onto her place as the rightful heir to the duchy of akureyri, while also securing the duchy of husavik for her sister. it’s the fire that runs in her veins that made any of that possible. 

RANDY EGILLSDOTTIR, on the other hand, is her sister’s antithesis. she’s prim and proper, the duchess of husavik who represents her duchy with pride. she was always soft, always a little bit too much like her mother in every way. while many would expect the two to butt heads over it: they both understand each other. they were born to parents who told them to be themselves first and foremost, and to quit caring for the product of appearances and worrying about titles. it’s their loving upbringing that keeps them together, and the two are still very close, even if they make an unlikely pair. they are also very close with natasja and aleksander, their cousins, because all four of them don’t wish to repeat the mistakes of their parents.

Young Justice: Outsiders Theories -What’s going to happen in Season 3

Minor YJ speculation and worries

With the return of Young Justice, now with the added, Outsiders, a lot of reactions are happening based on the first three episodes. Now that I have had the pleasure of watching the three episodes, a few things have crept into my mind. So I figured, why not theorize about them. 

Side note...Going to add pictures later today because of time by me right now, and I need sleep, so I hope this doesn’t come out jumbled. Pictures when they are put in will be under cut, and some will have blood and may be less then pleasant. You  have been warned. 

Also spoilers for DC comics from around seven or more years ago, again, you have been warned. 

Terra being a Baddie? 

So right now we know that Terra has been Kidnapped and there’s some speculation as to where she is, and what’s going on with her. As many know thanks to the Teen Titans and a movie for the Teen titans as part of the DC Animated movie series, Terra was working as a agents for Slade Wilson, aka Death stroke. We know that Death Stroke exists in this world and that the YJ team has come up against him. 

Given that Judas Contract is such a well loved story, and something a lot of people would like to see done right, I’m wondering if we’re going to see it play out again under Greg and Brandon. If so, is Tera going to be brainwashed or is she going to be actually someone who is evil. We’ve had it in the past where she’s manipulated by Death Stroke and was actually a decent person. However, with YJ nothing is that simple. 

My only concern right now is that people will be upset if they go with the real event in the story and have Princess Tera actually follow her other selves path, only being more true to the actual story. Greg did say they were going to push things with this season, and her parent’s death are one way of doing that...another would be to reveal that she’s in love with Death Stroke and has been sleeping with him, which is what was going on in the original story. That could cause a lot of drama for Geoforce,and he would have to contend with what happened with his sister and a way older man. 

Also I wouldn’t put it past them to have her be saved by Slade and that’s why she feels connected to him. Terra from the comics was complex. This one probably will be too. 

Where is Wally West. 

So according to Greg there is no Speed force, however, we haven’t talked yet about time travel. One of the stories that happened for Barry Allen was that he and his wife Iris West wound up traveling into the future where they had their two kids, a pair of twins, one of whom has Bart, which I can’t remember right now. We know Bart came from the future, so we know that you can travel through time. 

So what if they gave Wally Barry’s story here. Suppose that the speed was enough to actively send him forward in time. But what period? Well there are a few times. Bart’s is one, Possibly to the time of the Tomorrow Titans, or the the time of the Legion of super heroes. Any one of these could lead to him coming back in various ways. 

However I caution something. Wally would not be coming back as the Wally that we knew. He would have changed, probably matured more, and, more than likely depending if they want to go farther with the story and hit home on the idea of merging both Barry and Bart’s stories into Wally’s trip, having him come back as an adult with a family and married to Linda Park. 

Now who is Linda Park? Well she’s Wally’s longest lasting and more famous love interest. She’s a tv news investigative reporter that he met after he became the Flash and for years they’ve had a bit of a contentious sort of romance where Wally tried to win her over and she didn’t fall for his typical charms, this eventually led to the two becoming friends, and her helping him on a number of cases. Eventually, after dating and her worried she couldn’t fit into his world, the two were married and had twins, Iris and Jai, both who had speed powers, though Jai’s were more connected to making him strong. (Both seemed to be based a bit on Mark Waid’s two kids of Wally’s from Kingdom Come.) 

If they decide to go this route it would fit in with the idea of Wally possibly becoming a second Flash, or work in some other way. Not sure yet. Also adding to this theory is that Greg used to work on a show named Gargoyles, where at one point he planed to have one of the main characters, Brooklyn, time travel back to Ancient Japan, meet another Gargoyle from the past there, marry and have a family, only to be brought back into modern time. 

Now I’m not sure how the time travel aspect works in YJ, if it’s only been two years in the future or not. But we do know it’s possible to move through time thanks to Bart. We also know there is no speed force, and thus he can’t be there, so logically the only time that would make the most sense is that he is in the future. It’s not hard to buy into the idea that Wally ends up meeting his Niece -Dawn Allen, and Nephew -Don Allen, also known as the Tornado Twins (who seem to be not dead in this version of the characters history) and possibly the Legion of Superheros, with Jenni Ognats, aka XS (Barry and Iris’s grand daughter and Bart’s cousin, Dawn’s daughter) who is one of the Legions members. 

Given that in the comics both Bart and Conner were revived in the future do to the work of the LoS, I wouldn’t be surprised if they agree to help Wally get home thanks to Braniac 13, who is their tech head. My guess is during this time away Wally will probably meet Linda Park, a local investigative reporter. The two probably will become friends, and then possibly fall in love. Due to not knowing how time flows in this case, I have to wonder if they will have kids or not, so Wally may come back married or in a relationship with Linda, who goes with him back to the past. 

What does Bruce know and why did the others up and leave the team? 

So Batman pretty much blindsided the team, and this is typical of him. Actually this fits in with his actions when he created the Outsiders. Back then there were issues with the UN about them going into Markovia (same as in YJ) only they had Lucius Fox in this case as captive and he needed to get in and get him out. 

So we have Batman forming his own group, probably Batman Inc, or they’ll be called the Outsiders while the other team will be something else. In any event, Bruce doesn’t do things unless he has reasons. Given what happened off world and the fact that there have been over 16,000 kids that have gone missing, this would have gotten his attention long ago. Knowing Bruce, and that he has ties to Talia in YJ, he more than likely has some clue of something going on thanks to Ra’s al Ghul having ties to the light. This would mean that he probably knows it has something to do with the light, and that with Luther on the UN this would lead to him trying to stop the JL and YJ in helping others. 

So what would he know? My guess, is that he knows about what Dick found and I think that Dick’s working with him on this. Bat Family tends to stick together, so he probably has them knowing that he knows something. How much they know, it’s up in the air. I don’t think Tim, Steph or Cissie know much of any thing outside of the fact that they’re going to try to stop Virtigo and other’s like him from kidnapping kids. But Dick and Babs, Katana, and Batwoman probably know more about the situation. As we know that both Dick and Babs were already on the case, and Batwoman is Bruce’s cousin Kate Kane, and a former Marine who is possibly dating Renee Montoya, (possibly the Question) who is a detective on the GPD, which means she would have info from her. Katana is probably working with Lady Shiva, anti-hero of the Batman comics, so she’s probably gathering info via her typical way of doing that. On top of that her family was killed by one of Baron Bedlam’s helpers, so she’s probably wanting revenge. 

I’m pretty sure Bruce knows that the Light are involved, I’m pretty sure that given the death of Ana, that she was used like many others that there’s hints of Apokolips. I’m damn sure that he’s trying to put two and two together and more than likely thinks the watch tower is bugged at this point, that was why he didn’t explain more. I have no doubt he sent Dick to recruit Jefferson. This is Bruce, leave no plan unfinished, Wayne. 

As for Hardware and Plastic Man, I get the feeling that both wanted in because of the kids as well. Both have had connections to kids and both are good guys. So Plastic, who has been sometimes Team Bats and sometimes not, but he was a criminal that knows about how kids fall through the cracks, and would want to help them. Hardware focuses a lot on inner city kids and believes they need a chance to better themselves and his genius intellect and past connections would be a boon to Bruce in this case. 

So what about Ollie? I don’t think he knows as much as Bruce, but I think he does know enough that he suspects there’s something darker going on with the missing kids. People keep forgetting that Oliver is only a bit less rich than Bruce and has his own group of people that watch out for things for him. So he probably has his own suspicions. Keep in mind Ollie is a guy that wants justice for all social issues, and if one thing would piss him off more than anything it would be missing kids. So he would probably meet with Bruce, talk about what they knew and Bruce would play to Ollie’s hot temper and get him to join in leaving. 

Cissie, who is connected to Ollie through her mother, probably is going to be more like Mia from GA going forward as her outfit seems to mirror Arty’s and Mia Dearden’s Speedy look, rather than her own main YJ look from the comics. More than likely Cissie feels the same way as Ollie about things, and (unless they change her back story to be Mia’s -please don’t) she would want to do whatever she could to protect kids due to the fact that so many look up to her because of her time in the Olympics. So her leaving for Ollie makes sense. 

Stephanie, who’s father is the Cluemaster, is known for her more hotheaded choices and for going in to prove herself. She’s also someone who would want to protect kids because of what happened in YJ’s past where she got taken, and probably also because kids like her who’s family is messed up may slip through the cracks and people don’t notice. Her leaving would make sense as she’s going to want to prove herself to Bruce, given that Tim’s probably the one that brought her in and they’re friends (at least right now -crossing fingers more later), and she would want to do her best to prove to Bruce that she can be trusted and is loyal. 

Tim did not look happy about it, but it makes sense for him to want to go too. Tim may not have grown up in a hard life, but he’s also the one that brought Bruce back from the deepest depression he had after Jason Todd’s death. His actions make sense as Cassie has always been a person that would butt heads with him due to him wanting to be like Bruce. He’s more of a detective type then Dick, or Jason, and with his computer skills he’d have probably agreed to this after realizing how this could affect people like the Runaways that they saved in the last season. Yes he wouldn’t have told Cassie as he would know she would tell Diana because the two are very close and would break everything. 

Why are Roy and Artemis living with Lian in the same house? 

I’ve seen a lot of people discussing what is going on with Roy and Arty. People are thinking it’s Roy and Jade’s house, but if it was you would see things that would indicate Jade is around, and we do not have that. In fact it’s clear that the house is very simple, meaning that it’s more than likely Roy decorating at this point. We know that the other YJer’s aren’t exactly okay with Jade/Cheshire, and she and Arty are not perfectly okay either. We also know she tends to fall off the bandwagon and follow her dad’s footsteps. 

So I don’t think she and Roy are together anymore. That doesn’t mean he and Arty are either. Given her loss, Roy would have been the first to take her in as he knows what dealing with pain and loss and that sort of thing can do to you, see his...um China-cat episode (and yes I am calling it that as you can’t tell me that wasn’t a nod to him being on Drugs way back when). Arty is still a college student, she’s gonna have loans and the like as she’d probably not take a lot of money from Ollie. So who’s paying for the house? Who’s house is it? Why it’s Ollie’s. 

Again, it’s in Star City, which is GA’s home town. No doubt Ollie saw what Roy saw with Artemis and Dianah probably pointed out her being down as well. Roy more than likely said he’d take her in, rather than her living on her own, and Ollie was like, no way are you and your daughter and Artemis living in that crappy apartment. Then took Roy and her house hunting and they chose a simple house. Ollie probably paid for it and they live there. It’s a lot like Roy’s house in the comics, that he bought back when he was working for Mr. Bones. 

Dr. Jace and her role in all of this? 

Okay so I’m sure a lot of people are probably going to like the idea of Helga and Brion, given that she’s very touchy with him. The problem is that they are probably going to make Helga also the reason that Metamorpho-Rex Manson (dude on the poster cover with the other outsiders) becomes what he is. He wants her to fix his issues. (Aso there’s a chance that Rex may connect back to Jamie with Egypt and that connection to the beetle.) 

Here’s the thing, Helga Jace is a known villain who works for the Manhunters, a group founded before the Green Lanterns by the big blue heads of Oa. The Manhunters are ruthless and dangerous and I think we see them in the trailers. They were supposed to police the universe like the GLs but they sort of screwed that over. Given we have John Stewart as a mention, we probably will see him and the other Lanterns later. 

So what would she want with Brion? Well if she’s working with the Manhunters than she’s going to have ties probably to Apokolips plot in some way. She’s helping make the kids into these monsters so she would have some idea of what they are being used for. Unless they change that. My guess is that she’s going to turn out to be actually one of the major baddies later on in the season and helping out the Light. 

Halo....

Okay so Halo was a young woman that got killed, lost her memory and was brought back by an alien and now they share the body in a way and she can use powers. In the case of Halo for YJ one thing I noticed is that her powers are very much the same look as the powers from Apokolips. As other’s have noted the color scheme is off with what does what in regard to healing and her force field. The thing is that the color scheme does match that of powers from Apokolips. This means that this may be tied to something or someone from that world. Could we possibly be seeing the New Gods in the near future? 

Darkseid and his plans...

Something’s been bothering me since I’ve seen these first three episodes and that’s the fact that a lot of this is reminding me of Infinite Crisis, or at least parts of it are and there are things that are reminding me of Final crisis as well. 

So there’s this thing in the DCU called the Anti-life equation. Humans seems to have it connected to the subconscious. Darkseid has been looking for this for years, and in Final Crises he was using humans and other beings in experiments to find the equation. This lead to the vanishing of Batman (Long time travel story there) and the battle for the Cowl in Gotham. 

On the show we know that Vandal Savage had brought War World to Apokolips, and said that their alliance still stood. Now we don’t know what the deal is, but it’s looking more like Apokolips is using the Light to create the monsters that we saw fighting the League at the start. But why would he need such things? Well I think that it’s got to do with the equation. Using them for the experiment would be a way to gather information in regard to pulling out the equation. 

It could also tie into the New Gods, and their war with Apokolips. We could be seeing an attempt at building up to a all out war between these two and the building of an army to use against the New Gods. 

Conner and Megan...and Match

I’m not sure how to talk about this one because it’s got a lot of twists and turns. I’ll do my best with this theory. 

So when I was watching the season so far, one thing that stood out to me was the fact that Megan and Conner’s actions are reminding me a lot of what Conner and Cassie were going through during Infinite crises. During the story line Conner was trying to deal with his previous actions. He had been taken over by Lex Luthor (triggered by some stuff in his DNA, and later it turns out it wasn’t Lex who was the main DNA, it’s confusing) but Conner fought his friends and was saved and felt guilty about it. Not long after there was a huge deal with the Infinite crises that was coming from Alexander Luthor (long story there), the first Superman, and Super Boy Prime, who were trying to fix the darkness that had come over the DCU. 

So who is Match a clone of Superboy that wound up fighting with him. He later became a good guy. and joined Titan’s east. But for a while he outright hated Conner and wanted him dead, as I recall. He was made to serve an The Agenda and kill Superboy. He eventually started to go good then started to Rot and was later killed by Superboy Prime. 

The reason I bring both these up is because of how Greg seems to be playing with the story for both these crises and it’s not hard to see similarties here. 

We have had clones before in the series, Match is a clone. Conner asks Megan to marry him, Conner and Cassie consumate their relationship in the barn at the Kent family farm (don’t ask that’s John’s writing), we know that Apokolips is playing with things right now, and we know that they took samples of DNA from the boys in the first season that hasn’t come into play (even if they smashed it, that doesn’t mean all is gone) and it wouldn’t be too hard to see them turning a Superboy clone into a Superboy Prime, by using Match. 

So what does this all mean for Megan and Conner. Well, honestly my guess is that we may see Conner sacrificing himself ala his character in the Infinite story line. 

Superboy Prime and Conner fought till Conner was wounded and SB P had to go get power armor to make himself stronger to beat him. However Conner managed to destroy a tower that SB P had made to change the realities. However he died in the process in Cassie’s arms. 

We know that YJ has a habit of killing off heroes each season. Kent Nelson in season 1, Zartan and Walley in Season 2, so could Conner be up next? We already have an engagement, and it would fit right in with the above story. 

There are a few options here though that could play out.: 

1. Conner doesn’t die, he and Megan get married and live out their lives as heroes, with the complication of them having to deal with his aging problem (You know, stuck at 16). 

2. Conner does die and we are down one Super character. They chose to bring in Damian and Jon Kent in the near seasons, and Jon becomes the new Super boy, or we see the arrival of Chris Kent (lois and Clark’s adopted child who is the son of General Zod), and he takes over the role as Superboy. Or we get Kara Kent, aka Supergirl to join in Conner’s stead. 

3. Conner dies and Megan goes through what Tim did, trying to clone him. Case A: she fails like Tim did and has to move on. Case B; she succeeds, but the Conner that comes out is closer to the original Conner from the comics and less serious and possibly isn’t interested in her. Case C: she makes a perfect Clone of him and that comes back as a story plot point later when he comes back alive. 

4. Conner dies, but is revived by the Legion of Superheroes, just as it was done in the comic and he comes back to the past with them for another season arc. 

There is also the option of Megan dying too, but I’m not sure if they would do that as of yet. 

Okay on to happier thoughts: 

Character’s that I hope we get in the near future.....

Anita Fite -Empress. It would be so cool to have her join the team and have an interesting relationship with Cassie and the other girls on the crew. Her powers are more magic based so that would fill in for the missing Zee. 

Slowbo- Clone or kid from the same planet as Lobo. He could claim to be Lobo’s kid, that would be amusing. Come on we need the trash talking nerd to get on Con’s nerves. 

The Ray, already being used by the CW seed, Ray was on YJ for a short time and was older than the other kids but he turned out to be a good mentor figure for them. 

Jade and Obsidian, Twin children of the first Green Lantern Allen Scott. Jenny (Jade) has powers like her father, except they are internal, Todd (Obsidian) manipulates shadows and merge with them allowing him to do things like fly and the like. 

Powergirl -if we can’t have supergirl then at least give us Power girl, as Karen Star is amazing and being Clark’s cousin with the same powers is cool. Also bonus if this gives us the idea of Earth 2. 

Since we have Courtney can we get the kids from the JSA? Like all of them? 

Also just where is Bunker? I could easily see him joining the cast as he would fit right in and be a fun character to have. 

Rose Wilson and Eddie -kid devil, would be a nice added bonus, along with Jericho (and leave him mute please). 

There’s way to many people I would like to see, including Argent, as Toni would make for an interesting female character. 

Can we also get Raven in there please. I miss Rachel.

Church au (little dancer)

In Colonia, Germany is typical to have celebrations in honour of the Church, well, in all honesty, is a competition to see who can make the best jubilation, in laymen terms, a competition to see who can give the best party and the Church often decides that Berlin has this title guarantee.

The head of inquisition and the new Karcist is not opposed to celebrations in his homeland, but, has yet to understand why he´s in Colonia, such small and forgettable part of his Germany, well, the Pope thinks he´s well fit to be the judge of all the event and that´s because the Church doesn´t have many famous German judge.

In his mind, the festival won´t be memorable, until, she shows up. Dresses up with satin and moving to the beat of the music with such mastery that she can´t be human, in the back of his mind, this is how faes dances, not humans.

She phased through the guards and goes easily to his side, Kurt can see and feel how she´s petite and how there´s a huge difference in size between them, the woman with her free chestnut hair and that innocent expression cup his face, looking at his golden eyes and a moment of fear and hesitation cross her pretty face.

Kurt, on the other hand, is studying her minuscule expressions; how she gulps hard and looks away for a moment, to then quickly look back at him, and to his surprise give a gentle peak at his nose.

The woman then leaves as she went and Kurt is mesmerized, as she is back dancing, never missing the beat, and then, when her doe eyes look at him once again, with hesitation and fear and a bit of pride, Kurt has to reevaluate some of his notions. Colonia did win the festival for their excellent dance and no one will question Kurt why Colonia and not Berlin.

The dancer´s name is Katherine Anne Pryde, a young woman native from Ultramar that was sent here for unknown reasons, she works and studies at the Suspira Academy dancer, a fitting name as is a dance school found by witches. Wanda did roll Talia in this school, however, it was in the Berlin one and not Colonia.

Karcist Kurt Szardos shows up to speak with the headmistress of this unity, an old witch that believes in the old arts and frankly Kurt can correct the woman in some of her beliefs as he was in those “dark times” and it wasn´t as glamorous as someone believes.

And what a surprise. The headmistress shows her best pupils and Kitty is there. How convenient that Kurt has a chance to speak with the young woman. “you´re a great dancer” Kurt speak and is an honest commentary, such a great dancer that he see her movements in the fire, in his mind, prompting him to think many, many scenarios.

Kitty pouts and crosses her arms. “You think I dance like a white swan, I heard that all the time, I´m too delicate and petite, so, I must only dance like a white swan” there´s a tone of bitterness present and Kitty herself notices and adopt a more demure expression. “people don´t think I can dance in a dark swan way, only an innocent and pure white swan”

Kurt only replies in a more friendly term. “Actually, I think you dance as a mix of both, it was a nice mixture of innocence and sin that hardly we see nowadays” this caught her by surprise in a positive way.

“Really? Oh, I´m sorry about the kiss if that makes you uncomfortable” Kurt has enough self-control to not show her how that kiss didn´t make him uncomfortable, instead, he merely jokes and makes the young woman more comfortable in his presence.

At the end of the day, the headmistress asked if the Church is willing to be a partner of this unity, of course, the questioner was made with more subtle and tact. Kurt is always a fan of arts.

In a sense, Kurt can admire the irony as the dark swan dances to the audience coving temptation and dark secrets, all the while, Kitty is the only one with a clean soul, while the others around the black swan are here for more than mere talent.

There´s manipulation and self-interested surrounding the ones that are dancing along with the black swan and Kurt can admire a good irony.

“Isn´t she something else?” the headmistress admitted to Kurt as they watch the show in the best view possible. “I reckon you do have a point after all”

Kurt only smiles as the black swan stop dancing and makes her final move, it was, in Kurt´s mind, amazing and he definitely would like to see her dancing again and gain.

Piotr is back at the church, a well-made mission is a reward by allowing Piotr some free time, and he decides to visit his friend, who is currently writing something too intensely to notice the Russian until he announces himself.

“Piotr!” Kurt exclaimed happily “how was the mission? Care for a drink?” and the intensity of whatever he was writing is broken off as the two men are drinking and talking, the mission was a success.

“And what are you up now?” Piotr asked bubbly with the drink already. Kurt only smiles and speak in a happier tone. “I found a nice dancer in Colonia, she dances like an angel, she dances like the devil”

Piotr laughs at this. “You would know how a devil dances?”

Kurt drinks more and chuckles at this statement. “No, but I know how a vampire dance” the mood is chipper until Kurt adds “and I think she should dance only for me” Piotr put his drink down as Kurt is now showing his fangs with a certain adoration in his looks. “we don´t see innocence and temptation mixed like that”

Kurt goes to visit the school, once again, to speak about the partnership and is greeted by Kitty Pryde waving at him, now a bit shyly, but no longer afraid of him.

“Hi, Karcist Kurt” she greets him and Kurt knows it may be too soon to suggest her to call him by his name, his name will sound lovely coming from the dancer´s mouth. “The headmistress is waiting for you, she even prepared everything for you” there´s a bit of mirth on her tone.

Kurt jokily asked. “Oh no, she won´t try to do another extravagant party again, right?” he puts his hands on his checks and makes Kitty laugh. It was a cute sound.

“No, I think she gets the message from last time, but, even though the party maybe tone down…is still extravagant for you” Kitty declares and Kurt sighs comically. “Well, at least, I´m not alone, you´ll be on my side if someone starts talking about fancy wines, right?” Kurt asked nicely and Kitty vows she´ll be on his side. Kurt is really pleased to hear that.

At night, Kurt and Kitty are walking together, a nice friendly date, or so, is what Kitty is trying to convince herself and failing, to the point, her worries are being too obvious and she decides to confront Kurt about some rumours.

“Karcist Kurt” she starts without hesitation or fear, at least, not letting those emotions be visible “I´d enjoy my time with you, a lot, but, I did hear lots of rumours about you” Kurt sighs already expecting this. “Of course, there are many rumours about me”

Kitty gulps and speaks freely now. “A friend of mine told me you are sadistic and enjoy killing and torturing people in the Church”

Kurt is bemused and wants to know who´s this friend of her, however, he reply to this rumour. “Katzchen, I´m the head inquisitor of the Church and a Karcist, of course, people make my job be 10 times bloodier than it is” Kurt is telling the truth “yes, I do conduct interrogation and yes, sometimes, I do have to punish criminals, and that´s the important part people forget, I don´t go out of my way to hurt innocents”

Kurt has a look of hurt in his face and Kitty is feeling bad with her doubts, but, she continues. “My friend also said that the Church is full of pervert and the whole multiple things is …forced upon people” Kurt´s hurt increase at that. How Kitty can believe in such rumours? Oh, she does not, judging by the way she´s gazing upon her, but, doubts can ruin anything.

“Yes, the Church has the attitude of multiple, but, no one is forced upon this” is a technical true, first the woman must have a certain age and get another requirement, now, Kurt is too hurt and adds “do you really believe in those rumours? Do you think I´m a terrible person?”

“No, no, I´m sorry, is just I never enter in contact with the Church and people are always telling me that you´re scary” Kitty explained and Kurt needs to know who are those people. His hand touches Kitty´s as Kurt gazes upon her eyes.

“There´s also the rumour that the Church hates people dating people outside the Church that´s a lie” correct, no one will have any problem with Kurt dating Kitty because he said so. “The only question here is, do you want to be with me?”

Kitty nods and speaks “Kurt, I want to be with you, but, I also must ask, if you´ll be fine with me not wanting to join the Church”

Kurt is also expecting this and is a bit disappointed, but, he´s older and she´s younger. “Of course not, Katzchen, I want to be with you and that´s it”

Kitty gives him a tight hug, apologies were exchanged and new vows were made, as they are now to their date, no more pretence, Kurt asked in a subtle way for the names of her friends.

Kitty is with Kurt, again, one of her favourites part of her week. The man is back from a mission and is enjoying the time off he clearly deserves it, so, when she was allowed to enter in his chambers in one of the territories of the Church, the woman didn´t dare or wanted to think of the implications.

“Kurt” she gives a nice kiss on his lips and it always makes him sigh in relief, joy and relishes at the same time, well, she can´t say his kisses don´t have the similar effect on her. “I have a present for you”

Kurt is overjoyed. Kitty hands the small boxes and Kurt can sense she made the arrangements herself, the bow on the box it was her doing and he enjoys that very much. It was a tie. “I know this is not conventional gift for a vampire” there´s a tone of joke here “and you must be older than dust” Kurt pinch her delicately and speak about manners, the woman only laughs “Sorry, sorry, moving on, I thought the tie would be a nice gift, I do see you with ties before and I think this one is more your style”

Kurt looks at the tie, is a scarlet one, and he knows she must be making some meme/joke with vampires, well, he can let her as she´s giving him such genuine affection. “Wanna put the tie for me?”

Kitty did just that with joy. She starts mentioning how her landlord is giving her troubles again. “the rules the man is creating makes no sense and I´ll have to leave” she complains and Kurt was expecting this part, after all, it would be too suspicious if the landlord just kicked her out, now, a more demanding landlord is more believable.

“Well, you can live with me” Kurt suggested once the tie is ready and adorning his neck. She gives a big smile and asked if that won´t be a problem. “Of course not, I would love to have your company here” “And I would love to be here with you, elf, so yes, my answer is yes,” Kitty said and Kurt has too much self-control to not shout a big yes, instead, she put Kitty is his lap and kisses her. He gets his dancer, his ballerina all too himself and no one will come between them.

Gross Klance AU Month- Feb 1: Coffee Shop (A Future Klance-Family fic)

“I don’t like it here,” Lucas grumbled, poking at the sodden mittens his Papi had draped over the heating vent.

“Stop picking at them let them dry,” Lance sighed, pushing a literal bucket of cocoa across the table. Keith would grumble about portion size, but Keith hadn’t had to try to entertain Lucas and Kashi all day and Lance was hoping sugar and chocolate overdosing the boys would buy him like… ten minutes of pleasantness. Please, God… just, TEN minutes! “Here you go, the biggest cocoas they had, with caramel syrup, extra whipped cream and chocolate shavings for Lucas…. And the same, but with hazelnut syrup and cinnamon instead for Kashi. And cafe con leche for me.” He wrapped his cold hands around the mug and breathed in the heavenly smell.

“I don’t like weather,” Kashi said, “I like when the air doesn’t have STUFF in it- snow, ice, water droplets… just… no.”

“Yeah,” Lucas jutted a thumb out toward his brother, “what he said! On the Atlas, it is never too cold, or too hot, there’s never rain or… whatever THAT stuff is!”

“Sleet,” Lance supplied, “that stuff is sleet… and I’m not a fan either.”

“Why would Thace even WANT to go to college in a place where the AIR throws ICE in your face???” Kashi huffed. He was not a fan of his eldest brother moving away for college in the first place… which meant that neither was Lucas… and they’d both been SO vocal about it that when it came time to do campus tours, it quickly had been evident that the youngest pair of their five kids needed to be occupied elsewhere.

So, HIS day had been miserable. Fingers crossed that Keith had had better luck with Thace and the twins.

“This school has an EXCELLENT Engineering program,” Lance reminded them.

“Better than apprenticing under Uncle Hunk on the Atlas?” scoffed Lucas.

“Yes… and even Hunk would say that. Hunk recommended this program to us in the first place.”

“Boston sucks,” Kashi muttered.

“No, it doesn’t. Today was just… not a great day.” Tweens would be the death of him. They really would. It was like his sons had lost the ability to feel joy if one of their parents was in the room. “We can’t control the weather.”

“You can on the ATLAS!”

“Lucas,” he sighed, “we’ve talked about this…”

“No one has made a final decision but Thace deserves to have all the information before he does yadda yadda yadda…” Kashi pushed some whipped cream around with his spoon, looking for all the world like a tiny, sullen Keith (with a SENSIBLE haircut, thankyouverymuch). It took every scrap of willpower Lance possessed not to pinch his cheek. It was endearing how much the younger boys hated the idea of their big brother moving out. So endearing that he didn’t have the heart to tell them that there was virtually no way Thace was going to decide to stay on the Atlas with them when the option was to live on campus WITH his long-term girlfriend.

Because his firstborn was 18 and in love and thought himself all grown up and ready to take on the world, and Lance couldn’t say a peep, because when he was 18 and in love he was on the front lines of a war, pining for his teammate, and making far dumber decisions than Thace was likely to.

The bell at the door chimed and they were hit with a blast of cold air carrying the exhausted voice of his husband. “Would you three knock it off, already?!? Rai, you don’t get a vote on where Thace goes to school. Talia- we KNOW you are planning on Olkarion, stop bringing it up. Thace- weather is not a factor in your decision, understood?”

“But there is actual SLUSH falling out of the sky,” Thace pointed out. “I don’t want to live where the sky throws slush at me.”

“It’s sleet!” Lucas chimed helpfully, his mood vastly improved by Thace’s apparent rejection of this school.

“Maybe Juanita LIKES sluuu-sleet,” teased Talia, “what will you do then?”

“We’ll have a conversation and make a decision together,” replied Thace, “what are you going to do if Bailey doesn’t want to move to a whole other galaxy for school?”

“Oh. My. God! Bailey and I are like baaaaaarely even dating! I’m not making any decisions about school based on a guy I am just like… kinda, sorta seeing.”

“Uh-huh,” mumbled Rai, “barely even dating… just fused at the mouth 24/7.”

“What’s this now?” Lance asked, prompting his daughter smack her twin and turn beet red.

“NOTHING!” She yelped, “I’ll order the drinks! Thace come help me!”

Keith just shook his head at them as he pulled his gloves off and set them next to the boys’ mittens on the heater. He was peeling out of his scarf when he caught Lance’s eyes and smiled, tension melting out of his features. Lance’s heart skipped a beat and his belly flipped and he felt his smile turn giddy from the look on his husband’s face. “Hi,” purred Keith, leaning in to kiss Lance gently as he sat in the chair beside him.

“Hi yourself,” Lance answered as the kiss broke.

“GROSS!” chorused all five children.

“Ugh, save it for your ‘naps’, weirdos,” drawled Rai, using finger quotes and rolling his eyes.

“Hey, knock it off,” Lance countered, “that was just a little hello kiss… it could be soooo much worse…”

“I doubt it,” mumbled Lucas.

“Ohhh was that…”

“No! No, it wasn’t anything!” Kashi elbowed Lucas.

“Did I... did I hear someone…

“Nothing! He said nothing!” insisted Rai.

“No, no… I think I did!”

“Papi! No! I didn’t!” squawked Lucas.

“Yeah, yeah… I DEFINITELY heard someone issue ME, Loverboy Lancey Lance Kogane, Pilot of the Red Lion, a challenge…”

Keith cackled, as the kids groaned, “now you’ve done it, boys. You know what he’s like…”

Lance turned his chair, then yanked Keith’s closer, “heya handsome.”

“Hi, babe,” Keith answered.

“You look cold,” Lance observed, leaning close, “which seems impossible for someone as hot as you are.”

“Kill me now,” muttered Rai.

“This is YOUR fault,” Kashi hissed to Lucas.

“You offering to warm me up if I am?” laughed Keith, his cheeks flushing.

“Oh, you know I am,” he tangled his fingers with Keith’s, “you’ve got really nice hands, did you know that?”

“Stop it,” whimpered Lucas.

“So do you,” Keith replied, rubbing his thumb across the back of Lance’s hand. “Long fingers… like a musician.”

“I do play a little guitar,” he scooted even closer. “You’re gorgeous… you look like you could be a rock star… little bit of a bad boy vibe going on.”

Keith laughed, his eyes dancing, “I’m more of a martial arts kind of guy than a musical one.”

“What… What is happening here?” Talia asked, her voice stunned.

“They were being gross,” Kashi answered.

“Were? WERE?! This is ARE! They ARE being gross!! Why are they STILL being gross?”

“Lucas,” muttered Rai.

“That’s really hot,” Lance continued, “but I bet I could make you sing like a bird.”

“MY EARS!” Thace yelped, “I can never unhear that!”

“Lucas? What. Did. You. DO?” Talia turned pointedly AWAY from her fathers, shielding her eyes with the coffee in her hands.

“Papi said they could be worse and Lucas said he doubted it,” Rai explained.

“Nope!” She said setting Keith’s coffee in front of him. “I’m not sitting with them. I’m sitting… uhh… over there. Bye!”

“Yeah, I’m joining you,” Thace agreed, handing Rai his drink. “Have fun with… all that, guys.”

“I hate them,” Rai muttered.

“You sound pretty confident,” laughed Keith, cheeks blazing now. He was happy to indulge Lance’s competitive streak and make the kids squirm, because… well.. Payback, honestly. They’d been awful all day… and who the heck complains about their parents GETTING ALONG!?!?

“I do, don’t I?” Lance grinned, waggling his eyebrows.

“OKAY YOU WIN!” squawked Lucas, “you were right! The kiss was nothing. This is way grosser. Stop! Please stop!”

“But… this is fun,” pouted Lance.

“You won, Loverboy,” chuckled his husband, “give the kids a break. You can flirt later when they aren’t around.”

Lance’s expression brightened and he leaned in to kiss Keith’s cheek, “promise?”

Keith rolled his eyes, “yes, I promise. Rai… go get your brother and sister… the little melodramatic pair of them.”

Rai sighed, but left the table, and Lance gestured to the younger boys. “I have been informed that our sons do not like ‘weather’.”

“They don’t, huh?” Keith wasn’t sure where Lance was going with this.

“I think they’ve been spoiled by the climate controlled life aboard the Atlas,” he explained.

“I don’t like where this is going,” whispered Kashi.

“Sooo, I’m thinking we should maybe trying living on the surface for a couple of years,” he finished cheerfully, “and commute.”

“You want to commute?” Keith confirmed.

“Yeah, I think it would be good for the kids.”

“To the Atlas?”

He nodded.

“In orbit.”

“The Lions can do it in no time flat.”

“Everyday?”

“Mmhmm…”

“Lance that’s…” he shook his head, “that would be a nightmare, babe!”

“What would be a nightmare?” Talia asked.

“Papi is talking about moving to the SURFACE,” Kashi hissed.

“Like… Cuba? Cuba would be cool,” Rai said, dropping into a chair, “I could work at the shop with Tio Luis after school.”

“Ummm… Do I get a vote? Because I don’t want to change schools!”

“No one is talking about changing schools,” Keith assured her.

“Then how is he going to work at Tio Luis’ shop?”

“We’re moving? Why are we moving?”

“Woah- everyone calm down,” Keith’s voice cut through the din, “we are in public and getting loud. Not acceptable. Everyone sit. Papi had an IDEA. That is all. It’s barely been mentioned let alone discussed or decided.”

“But if it goes anywhere,” Lance interjected, “we will have a family meeting and you will ALL have a chance to talk as much as you want about what you think of it. We are a team, and Team Kogane works together. Right?”

They all murmured their agreement, and settled into chairs, the table going quiet for a moment as the idea of leaving the Atlas bounced around. Talia’s phone bleated and she pulled it out, the smile on her face when she saw the text betraying the sender. “Say hi to Baiiiii-leeee,” crooned Lucas.

“Really, kid?” sighed Lance, “again? I’m telling you, youngest to youngest, you are going to REGRET giving them a hard time about the people they date when you start dating. Older siblings hold grudges. I promise you, this,” he gestured at Talia and Thace, “whole thing you’ve got going on? It’s going to kick you in the butt. Mark my words.”

“He is speaking from experience,” agreed Keith, “they gave him SUCH a hard time about Allura!”

“ALLURA!?!?” the children chorused.

“Way to blurt THAT out, Mullet,” Lance muttered.

“Hold on,” Talia tore her attention away from the phone, “you and Auntie Allura were a thing?”

“Not so much a thing, no,” Lance sighed, “there was A date. One single date. That proved to both of us that we were not meant to be a couple.”

“Then why did they give you a hard time?” asked Rai.

Lance glared at his husband, “I’m going to divorce you. I’m going to divorce you and this will be the reason. You understand that, right?”

“You don’t scare me. You’re not going to divorce me,” Keith chuckled, “you threaten to divorce me every day. I’m immune to the divorce talk.”

Lance gasped dramatically, clucking his tongue and shaking his head. “Just you watch me! DIVORCE!”

“Not gonna happen,” Keith said calmly, “they gave him a hard time because of all the blushing and pining.”

“Awww,” cooed Thace, “how cyoooot! Papi had a CRUSH on the Princess!”

“Are you implying that Allura of Altea is NOT crush-worthy?” Lance asked.

“What?” Thace went pale, “I didn’t say that! Please don’t tell Auntie Allura I said that! Oh… GOD! Please don’t tell CORAN I said that!!”

“He had it BAD for Allura from the moment he met her,” Keith supplied, ready to save Thace from his own panic.

“A literal Princess literally fell into my arms, and then told us we were destined to be heroes,” Lance pointed out. “It was like something out of a fairytale.”

“You’ve always been a hopeless romantic,” Keith chuckled.

“By the time we got back to Earth I didn’t see her that way anymore though. I’d just gotten used to the idea of being in love with her and it being hopeless…”

“But, you said you went on a date? And Dad said there was blushing.”

“I don’t remember saying your Papi was the one doing the blushing,” tsked Keith.

“Yes. ONE date. She came to dinner with my family. We went for a walk. There was a very sweet kiss. It was a lovely date. I remember it fondly. But, mainly because it was what made Allura and I see each other clearly for the first time, which is why we can be such good friends now.”

“What did YOU think of the whole date thing?” Talia asked Keith.

“Ohhhh, GOOD question!” Lance turned to smile at him, “I can’t believe I never thought to ask you that!”

“I… wanted my friends to be happy. If that was with each other, then the important thing was that they were happy,” Keith answered. “But… if they weren’t… then I needed to smarten up and make some changes.”

“Changes?” Rai echoed, “what kind of changes?”

“I….” Keith faltered.

Lance slipped his hand over Keith’s, “he wasn’t ready for a serious relationship then. He knew I wanted…. All this. Marriage. Kids. You guys. He did, too… he just didn’t know HOW to make this work and had to figure it out.”

“So… you guys were already in love when you went out with Allura?” Lucas asked.

“I don’t think either of us had figured that out yet,” Keith laughed.

“Kissing Allura made it pretty clear to me,” Lance said, “I knew what it SHOULD feel like and it… was nice. Sweet… but not the same.”

“The same?” Kashi narrowed his eyes, “you guys had ALREADY kissed!”

“How did we end up talking about this?” Keith asked no one in particular. “Guys, we were in space a long time. We didn’t know we were falling in love, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t interest. Okay?”

“But-”

“Hold up!” Lance laughed, “I will tell you guys the whole story, if you want me to… buuuuut I will remind you that you think us kissing each other hello is gross. So, be absolutely SURE you want to hear the answer before you ask any more questions about the two teenage boys we were back then. Okay? Okay.”

“Eww,” Lucas made a face. Rai and Thace blushed. Talia rolled her eyes, and Kashi was visibly debating whether he should ask something.

“No gross stuff… but if YOU knew after you kissed Allura,” Kashi started, “when did YOU know?”

“When did I know I was in love with your Papi?” Keith clarified. Kashi nodded and he sat back, thinking. “I don’t think I really had like a moment where I went ‘oh, I love him’. For me, it was more like… he kept getting a little more important to me and then a little more and a little more… and eventually being able to offer what he deserved was more important than the stuff I was afraid of. It was easier to get myself together than it was to live without him. It was easier to stay than to go.” He sighed, “I’m making myself sound really lazy. None of that stuff was EASY. It was REALLY hard to stop being afraid of getting left behind. It was REALLY hard to learn how to be part of a couple, and to work through the fights and the hurt feelings. All that was so much harder than anything I’d ever done. But being HAPPY with Lance was the easiest thing in the world… and NOT doing the other stuff? Like, staying away and not being with him, that was IMPOSSIBLE. Keeping people at a distance used to be easy for me, but I could NOT do that with him, so I had to figure out how to be close.”

“Awwww, Mullet,” Lance cooed, lifting Keith’s hand to kiss his knuckles. “You never told me any of that.”

“Okay, but WHEN,” Kashi asked again, exasperated, “when’s the FIRST time you remember knowing that you were in love with Papi?”

“In the Quantum Abyss,” Keith said after a moment, “that’s when I knew it wasn’t just an interest… when it could be something real. When I didn’t know if I would ever see the others again, and how much MORE it hurt to think that I’d never see Lance again… Yeah. That’s when I knew something had changed.”

“So… you completely changed who you were, for a guy?” Talia asked, “aren’t you always telling us NOT to do that?”

“He didn’t change who he was,” Lance said quickly, “he is still the same hot-headed, stubborn, brave, awkward, loyal, quick-thinking, introverted, amazing guy he always was. He just faced his fears and dealt with the shit that was holding him back. He COULD do that because of who he really is. If you find someone who makes you want to face your fears and slog through the darkest parts of you to be with them, we’ll support that. That is NOT the same as pretending to like American football and hate ACTUAL football, or not talking about being Cuban, or doing things you know are wrong to impress someone.”

“Okay, okay,” she rolled her eyes, “geez!”

“So… when did you actually get together?” Lucas asked, “like, officially.”

“Our very first official date was the second of April before my twentieth birthday,” Lance said with certainty.

“It would have been the first, but he didn’t want to risk it being a prank,” explained Keith.

“And then you dated for how long?” asked Kashi.

“We got engaged that December… he proposed at the ice skating rink- you guys know that story,” Lance supplied, “and we were engaged a year and a half before the wedding.”

“That’s not that long. Juanita and I have been together longer than that,” Thace mused.

“Don’t even think about using us as some kind of relationship planner,” Keith laughed, “I was stuck on a Space Whale for two years, then we all jumped ahead three… and we were a mess in the beginning. You and Juanita set your own pace. There’s no rush.”

“Any last questions?” Lance asked, “I promise, I’ll answer ANYTHING you ask me…” He waited a moment and when no one spoke up and he was greeted with assorted variations on a head shake he polished off his coffee, “alright. Good. Now, Thace, what was your FAVORITE thing about the campus?”

“My favorite?” Thace thought for a moment, blue eyes flashing, “the robotics lab. They had tech there that was amazing. So much more variety than what we have on the Atlas!”

“Really?” Talia interjected, “I thought you were all about library, with that interactive study support program?”

“Yeah, that was pretty impressive, too.” He launched into a description of the holographic tutors and test prep programs the library offered. Which led to a discussion of how the engineering programs were structured and what he liked and didn’t like about them. Before long the entire family was debating the pros and cons of the school. Keith went quiet, watching the most important people in the world to him laugh and talk and argue. His kids. His husband. Before long, Thace would be out on his own. Then the twins would be off to face the world. Even Kashi and Lucas were barrelling toward adulthood far too fast.

He stood heading to the counter to get a fresh round of drinks, because his brood of extroverts (and Rai, his sole introverted kid) would be hashing this out for a while, and the weather outside was anything but inviting.

“Excuse me?”

He turned, blinking in surprise when he realized that the person speaking to him was Galra, “yes?”

Her yellow eyes widened and her fluffy ears flattened slightly, “I’m sorry to disturb you… You are the Black Paladin, yes?”

“Yeah,” he answered with a smile, “I am. Can I help you?”

“I just…” she sighed, “I wanted to thank you. My father… he was a Blade of Marmora. I know you… you helped Kolivan after… everything. I never thought I’d get the chance… just… thank-you. Thank-you for making sure the Blades weren’t forgotten.”

“You don’t need to thank me for that,” he said in a rush, “the Blades were, to a man, among the strongest, bravest, most honorable men and women I have ever had the privilege of knowing. They deserve to be remembered and honored. I named my son after a Blade who sacrificed himself for me, for the mission. Without his work, his selflessness, we never would have been able to defeat Zarkon.” He nodded to the table, “the tall one with the brown hair, his name is Thace.”

“Thace?” she echoed, “his name is Thace?”

“Yeah,” he confirmed, “we’re touring colleges right now. He graduates in the spring. Oh… oh no… are you crying?” He grabbed a napkin from the counter for her.

She blotted at her eyes, nodding. “It’s alright… I’m fine… I just…” She took a shuddery breath and pulled out what he recognized as a Galran holo-locket and pressed it into his hand. “Look. This is my father.” He did as she asked, triggering the little projector. The light flickered for a moment, it must have taken damage somewhere along the way because the image glitched and blinked out before coming into focus. A handsome, familiar face appeared before him and time froze. His eyes flicked back to the woman, connecting her features to the hologram in front of him. He pulled her into a hug, “he was a great man. A GREAT man. A true hero.” Releasing her he cleared his throat. “Please… PLEASE come meet my family. They would be so honored.”

He bustled her over to the table of people quietly but animatedly discussing… cafeteria food, at the moment and rested his hand on Lance’s shoulder to get his attention. “Guys… your Dad has someone for you to meet,” Lance said, his voice serious enough that they all fell silent.

“Everyone… this is… oh, I never got YOUR name, I’m so sorry!”

She laughed awkwardly, waving off his concern, “I’m Dai’sa. My name is Dai’sa.”

“Dai’sa,” he repeated, “this is my husband Lance, the Red Paladin, and our children. That’s Lucas, by the window. Then the one that looks like me is Kashi. This is Talia, and her twin brother Rai… and this… this is Thace. Everyone, Dai’sa’s father was a Blade of Marmora.”

They fell over each other to offer their condolences and gratitude. Lance made a point of standing and shaking Dai’sa’s hand, repeating that the Blade is a family, and so she should consider them to be family, as well and generally being his charming, gracious self.

“Did you know her Dad?” Kashi asked after a moment.

“I… uh… I did, actually,” Keith answered, “he saved my life. We named your brother after him.”

“Thace?” Lance asked, astounded, “your father was Thace?”

She nodded, “did you know him, too?”

He shook his head, “no, I never got that honor. But I know he was a hero. He saved… thousands of lives, millions possibly. I am so sorry that the war took him from you. If you EVER need anything of us. Of Voltron, the Paladins, or… just… us… the Koganes. Please do not hesitate to ask.”

“Uh.. thank-you. Thank-you.”

“Hey, chiquito, come say hi,” he waved his son over. Thace was tall and long-limbed, like Lance and his sister Rachel, who’d carried him, but broader through the shoulders and a bit bulkier. He looked like the McClains, with his softly curled brown hair, blue eyes, and coppery skin, but you could see Keith in the shape of his eyes, the quirk of his smile, and in the way he moved and spoke.

“I’m Thace Kogane,” he said softly, “it is such an honor to meet you. To meet another child of the Blade… but YOU specifically, too. I want you to know, I am VERY proud of the name I carry. I am proud to be Galra, even if I am only one quarter Galra. I know I have very big shoes to fill, I hope I can live up to the legacy of the name I carry. I hope I can make you proud.”

“Thank-you,” she repeated, laughing and blotting at her eyes, “I feel like I have been saying nothing but that since I approached!”

“Well, you should stop,” Talia interjected, “because we are the ones thanking you… and we’ve all done that. So, how about, instead of us all tripping over one another in gratitude, you join us for a coffee and tell us all about the great man that brought us together?”

“Please,” Keith said, gesturing to an empty chair.

“Oh, no! I couldn’t possibly intrude! You are with your family!”

“The Blade IS a family,” Kashi insisted.

“There is plenty of room,” added Rai.

“Alright… if you insist…” Lance nodded to assure her that, yes, they really did and she took a seat. Keith hurried back to the counter, paying for Dai’sa’s order as well as his family’s and collected the tray that held all the drinks. He settled into his seat, clasping Lance’s hand in his own. Thace’s daughter. He’d had no idea that such a person even existed, but he could see the resemblance.

Lucas looked over at his parents and rolled his eyes, “thanks for joining us Dai’sa… you being here might actually keep them from being gross!”

Birth of the demon

BATMAN: BIRTH OF THE DEMON DECEMBER 1992 BY DENNY O’NEIL AND NORM BREYFOGLE

SYNOPSIS

For a few years now, Bruce Wayne has been hunting down all the locations for the lazarus pits, based on the ley lines, the legendary lines of power of the Earth. After preventing Ra’s from using the locations, there is only one remaining location at the north of Africa, which happens to be original pit.

Just before leaving Gotham, Bruce admits to Alfred that he is slowly dying after falling in toxic wastes on his last attempt to close the construction of a pit.

When he arrives in North Africa, Talia has already taken care of the pit, which is ready for the immersion. Batman explains to her how he managed to find the locations, and with that, he unveiled the legend of Ra’s Al Ghul.

Then we go into a flashback to the middle ages. Somewhen between the plack pest and the crusades. There we meet a young Ra’s al Ghul, only known as “the physician”. Ra’s was part of a nomad tribe, but his love for science led him to live in a city, where he got married to Sora.

Ra’s was very close to the sultan Salimb, which was sometimes unfortunate, as the prince Runce would put his hands on Sora any time he wanted. In one of these events, Ra’s watched how the prince won a horse race by stomping over an old woman.

Ra’s pays a visit to the son of the old woman, risking being killed by him (a man we will know as Huwe) who pretty much thinks they were all involved in what happened in that race (Ra’s came second). Ra’s sees that the woman will die, so he gives Huwe some powders for a broth that will make her passing painless.

They are interrupted by guards that prompt the physician to the palace, as the prince has fell ill (black pest). The sultan promises anything if he manages to save his life. Ra’s then goes to the place he was born (in the desert) and falls asleep to dream, feeling that the land beneath him has great power.

It’s in this dream that Ra’s has a vision of his fight against death (represented by a bat, of course), and falling into a pit that would bring him back to life. After waking up, he tells the sultan he has an idea of how to save the prince’s life. He makes them build the pit and pour the chemicals necessary.

After the prince resurrects, in a state of madness, he attacks Sora, strangling her (or something worse). The sultan makes Runce come into his own mind, but Sora is dead.

The sultan tells the guards to take the physician prisoner for killing his own wife. When he finally faces the charges in the palace, the sultan admits (between the lines) that he knows he didn’t kill her, but the other option would be unbearable.

Prince Runce, in twisted irony, being the victim of the crime, sentences him to be confined with the dead corpse of his wife.

Plus, a whole tribe of nomads they arrested. All in a pit in the sand, prey to hunger, thirst and rodents.

Huew finally comes to the rescue after a few days, freeing Ra’s, who managed to survive thus far. They then contact Ra’s uncle, the leader of the nomad tribe, and they engineer a way of having revenge on the sultan. Ra’s sends a silk to the prince that he rescued from a mass grave of merchants that were prey to the black pest. The prince of course falls ill and they search for the physician again. He then tells them to create a new pit (in a different location). But he knows there is no “power line” behind this pit. When the prince comes back from the pit he is clearly dying.

The nomad tribe attacks, killing everybody but the sultan. Ra’s puts him in a horse, to let him die in the middle of the desert, but he gets a flash of mercy at the last moment and kills him.

After that, the tribe invades the city, where they kill everyone. But Ra’s doesn’t feel fulfilled by this revenge. Instead, he feels used by his deadly enemy (Death). And now he finds himself ill from the black pest as well.

They take Ra’s to the original pit and he resurrects in a rush of madness. Then settling down.

As the final part of his vengeance, he makes the tribe destroy any history, any record, anything that would give someone a clue that such civilization ever existed. He basically erased them from history (and took their language with them).

Story time is over and Batman knows Ra’s is listening in the dark as they tell the story. He then proceeds to ask Talia how old she is. She reveals that she is actually young. Her mother died of an overdose and Ra’s decided no to resurrect her (contradicting Son of the Demon).

We also learn that both, his uncle and Huwe remained at Ra’s side over the centuries until the fatidic night when Ra’s found Huwe writing his story, in the language that was considered lost in history. Ra’s kills him and then goes to the pit. His uncle escapes to avoid his wrath.

Talia then finds out that Bruce has a fever and he is dying. This is the moment Batman lets Ra’s know he knows he is there.

After an exchange of words the two start to battle, but Ra’s wins.

Of course, killing the Batman is not enough. Bruce is so stubborn that he would come back from the dead to prevent Ra’s from reaching the pit before dying. 

The two fall in the pit and it is destroyed. Bruce comes back from the dead, without wounds. Not knowing what the final fate of Ra’s al Ghul was.

REVIEW

There is a pretty well known rumor that most of the good villains are at DC Comics. And it is hard to contradict that rumor with stories like this. The novel was so well done that even the most evil people involved show some kind of humanity. Except perhaps for prince Runce, because every story needs a jerk.

Ra’s al Ghul is very complicated character, he loves science, but trusts his instincts and relies on the paranormal. His actions in that city may seem very similar to what he wants to do with the world. But there is one difference. He erased that city from history, any kind of legacy they could have had is gone. Ra’s on the other hand is a character that is very concerned about his legacy (there is an actual story called “legacy”).

There is also the idea of the bat as death. Now, I don’t know who started the symbolism, but bats represent rebirth (and death). However, in Chinese culture they represent good fortune, and Ra’s tribe is supposed to come from China (not sure by how many generations, as they are nomads).

When we explore the trauma Ra’s went through, it is easy to imagine that the reason he wants to erase history is to not have anything that would remind him of Sora. But it just happens to be a terrible result for a lot people. In contrast, it is said in this novel that Batman’s trauma gave his life meaning, and that he never found anything better. I think Ra’s did find something better. At a certain point his goal in life changes, he is disgusted by corruption as well, but his ways are more final. He wants to rule, he wants to shape things himself. He can fix the world, but he would also eradicate most of the human population.

Denny O’Neil created this character, and it is a nice touch that he was able to define his origin in this way. This story couldn’t have been told in the bronze age (the comic code authority wouldn’t have allowed it and graphic novels weren’t a thing). This origin is so definitive, so perfect, no one wants to change it (to be honest, the character didn’t have an origin for almost 20 years, and he may never need one to be a Batman villain).

Now, Norm Breyfogle, another casualty of 2018 (a year we lost a lot of comic-book legends), at the time this novel was published he was drawing for Shadow of the Bat (I think he later jumped to Image). His Batman is very distinctive and because he was the Batman artist of the late eighties and early nineties, he took part of some of the best batman stories ever told (as this period of the modern age saw the British invasion affecting the quality of american comic-books).

This is also his first ever painted novel. The whole thing is mesmerizing. And paired with a story that just won’t let you go, this is one of the best Batman stories ever told. It just happens to be a Ra’s al Ghul story.

Now, this novel contradicts Son of the Demon, and there are no reasons to believe it has any connection to Bride of the Demon. So the “Demon trilogy” is only a trilogy in names.

I didn’t know you liked vampire the masquerade omg, I’m excited. Ok, here I go because vampires are a good trope. In which clans would you put the batfamily in (I assume they all would be vampires)? I’m curious about how you made a worldbuilding meshing these two. Did you included other characters in your headcanons besides the batfamily? Don’t be surprised if I keep asking about it later, based on your answers. I never thought you’d like VTM and I’m excited

I am a very new fan of VtM and White Wolf's World of Darkness. I haven't even played my first session yet (next month!) so I'm not super knowledgeable.That said, I have honestly surprised myself with how much I am enjoying learning about it. I am normally more of a werewolf sorta gal so the fact that I am enjoying the Masquerade so much speaks, I think, to the quality of storytelling and world building. It really is very in depth and complex... so much to sink your teeth (heh) into.The long and short about my Batman/VtM crossover ideas are:Bruce's parents were shot to death by a mugger after coming out of a movie theatre... in 1920. He grew up and was embraced some time in the late 30s. As for which clan embraced him? Why... I think it would have to be the Venture. They would see the young millionaire (because billionaire is just a little too unlikely in this time period and fits with the Batman comics of the day) with no heirs and seeming every intention of flinging himself off a cliff given the opportunity and think he too valuable an asset to leave mortal.Only Bruce proves wilful and his tastes... not what one would expect from an upper class Venture. He likes criminals. And he likes them afraid. In fact, he needs that. Will cough up any blood that doesn't fit that description.He also refuses to kill despite his obvious disdain for his prey.And thus, in 1941, (because I'm a comic nerd and I like the idea of Detective Comics #27 being his first appearance) Batman is born.This, understandably causes come conflict between him and the ruling kindred class. After all, even back then, it was a pretty blatant Masquerade violation and Gotham is a bastion of the Camarilla.They decide he needs to be removed. But Bruce has friends in unexpected places. Ra's Al Ghul is a VERY old VERY powerful vampire. The leader of a large sect of Banu Haqim Assimites... and Bruce has caught his eye. He likes him. Wants to see what he can do. So he protects him.He also embraces a woman, Talia, who Bruce had known in life and who is raising Bruce's biological son, Damian.Bruce doesn't learn about his son but he does meet Talia again and the two have a brief affair before Bruce decides he needs to return to Gotham.He does so in secret and gathers his allies for a push against the old corrupted vampires (and his sire) who tried to kill him (again) and who he believes are corrupting Gotham.He recruits the help of his old butler, Alfred, and creates his own little Anarch movement, carving out territory in Gotham.Dick's his first recruit. A young Toreador who has been hiding in a travelling circus, using his gifts to delight and amaze the crowd.Jason comes next, some time later. A Brujah who is somewhat sceptical that this Ventrue really gives a shit about the lower classes of vampire but feels better about hunting in his half of the city than the half with the old guys that all want him dead.Barbara is a Nosferatu. Good at finding things, keeping secrets, and sticking to the shadows. She enters the picture in the early 70s.By this time Bruce has taken control of most of Gotham and has become old enough and powerful enough to be feared by most vampires in the area.Alfred is also still in the picture but not because he's a vampire. He's a ghoul. He drinks Bruce's blood to stay young and alive... but has no wish to become what Bruce is... despite many offers from the family members.Then modern nights start... and along with it superheroes. Oh, there had always been some. Strange bright people with all sorts of origins who set out to do good things. But now there is an alien that is fuelled by the sun, can shoot fire out of his eyes, and who is rallying gods behind him with a messages of truth and justice.This is where DC's timeline starts to win out over VtM's... just because I have a hard time believing the masquerade would stand up against Superman. People start to know about vampires and one vampire in particular who hasn't been very subtle these last century.This is when Clark meets Bruce and they start to learn about each other... as potential allies... potential enemies. Neither of them trust each other. Why should they? Sun god. Night stalker. Different worlds... and yet intertwined.Heh. Yeah. You can see what I'm doing here. I'm Superbat trash.Anyway. This attention brings about the second inquistion. People start hunting vampires again which causes the collapse of a lot of old vampire societies and structures. Including the old Camerilla organizations still active in Gotham and the Tremere pyramid.This is where Tim comes into the picture. He was a tremere blood slave but escaped when that collapsed and fled to Gotham, his closest Anarch state. He seeks refuge from his sire... and Bruce gives it to him. After all, it's always handy to have a blood mage hanging out in the basement... especially one as smart as this one.But then Damian comes back (adult of course) and embraced by his mother. Good at turning his blood to poison and stabbing people with it. Especially Tim.Annnnnndddd... that's sort of what I was thinking. Wow. This is longer than I thought it would be. I'm going to stop talking now............Okay. I lied. Bruce totally joins the Justice League and yes Hal he is a vampire but he's not going to bite so can you please stop leaving garlic around the watchtower? It doesn't do anything and is stinking up the place. Oh, and hey, turns out there is another type of blood Bruce can drink besides 'scared bad guy'. 'Horny Kryptonian' works just as well. Go figure.And that is my Vampire Masquerade Batman crossover. I hope you liked it.

The past

I was 8 years old when I had first met Deucalion. I stood on the edge of the woods watching horrified as my alpha killed the pack including, my mother, father and big brother. I hadn’t seen their murder on the bodies on the ground as the alpha killed our final pack mate. Running deep into the woods till I couldn’t run or breathe anymore, stopped and sat crying at the base of a tree.

A voice made me look up, the older wolf offered his hand out. “what’s wrong, why is a little wolf like you out here crying” he asked smoothly. “he killed them, he killed them all” I said with a tear stained face. After telling him what I had seen, Deucalion offered me a place in his pack, and protection. Sadly agreed knowing I didn’t have anywhere else to go and an omega wolf my age won’t last a month alone. 

Within the next few years Deucalion taught me everything he could, how to control the shifts, how to fight, hunt and kill. By the time I turned 13 I followed Deucalion without questioning his ideas like a trained puppet. We came across your old alpha the one who killed my family. Deucalion was the one to tell me to kill him “get revenge for your family and take the power he stole from them.” I did it not thinking twice my blue eyes turned as red as the blood on my hands.

Deucalion couldn’t of planned it better a young pup with nothing and all to eager to please her savoir and that’s how he made me, by reminding me what I would be without him, nothing. I was his best and most willing soldier he still had a soft spot for me caring like he wasn’t with the others. I was a daughter he never had, that was until the day I left him. when I was about 19 I had found out the truth thanks to a jealous Kali who wanted me gone to be his new right hand wolf. Deucalion was the one who made my former alpha kill the pack and family. I also found out it had been planned for me to join him before my family was dead. he wanted a wolf born child to make a killer, to be the faithful beta I was. by this time he was building his alpha pack and i finally started to see him as the monster he was. so I ran leaving the pack an finding a way to live on my own.

present time 

now 20 I’d been trying to start a normal-ish life, but it hadn’t worked like I hoped so gave myself a new life mission. one day Deaton a vet in beacon hills and emissary told me about Deucalion being in beacon hills. He somehow knew I was after the Wolf and said he could help me help his friends, I couldn’t stand around doing nothing that had been my goal for the last year to find and kill the demon wolf. I had watched and helped him destroy packs before and couldn’t let him do it to this one especially knowing Talia hale in the past, she’d offered me a home with her when I was 10. But I refused Deucalion had already gotten his claws into my mind, I felt I should help her son after she’d once offered me help. After getting the address to the hale loft I went. 

Outside the hear the sounds of a fight could be heard. When I got to the open door I saw Deucalion’s pack along with the pack I was here to help and from the first glimpse they needed it. Looking I saw Ennis throw a young curly haired boy across the room into the wall, Kali had hold of a pole through Derek’s back and chest Deucalion crouched over him. The twins had another wolf, one twin keeping the wolfs arms behind his back while the other twin had his claws on the older wolfs throat. 

Making a snap decision, I throw my mobile as hard as at the twin knocking him out. The whole room froze looking at me,  changing my eyes making then glow alpha red. Kali pulled the pole from Derek’s body growling, I flicked my claws out ready to fight her. Deucalion roared for her to stop, he stood up walking toward me. Derek holding his chest crawled to Issac at the side of the loft. Everyone was still Deucalion’s pack looked nervous while the rest looked confused. “finally come back to where you belong, back to the pack, your family y/n” he said smirked saying the words. I felt a growl leave my chest. Stepping down the couple of steps to face him “I don’t have family or a pack! Not anymore” I snap back still flicking my eyes round at the rest of the packs, I could sense there nerves, anger, curiosity. Making me feel on edge. Deucalion laughed “what come to try and fit in with this pathetic pack” he asked circling me stirring with his alpha eyes “or have you come here with different intentions” he ask more quizzical, but knowing he was right. 

I know he was baiting me the way he walked round, and the words he chose. I also know how to play him, “ive come to stop you ripping apart another pack”.  he laughed more, “you really think you can beat me, y/n don’t be silly I taught you everything you know, I know what your going to do before you do it, I raised you remember” he added emphasis on the word remember roaring it out. I  swallow hard now feeling intimated by him trying not to let it show. “how about a bet or game shall we say” my voice stayed calm and steady which I was thankful for. I knew he couldn’t turn down a challenge especially in front of his pack. I watched him think it over your eyes still watching the room. 

By now Derek and his beta where by the wall Ennis and kali stood where Deucalion stood originally before his vulture circling, the twin I hit with the phone was still on the floor. His brother had let go of the handsome wolf. The was something about his natural blue eyes that made my heart skip. The sound of Deucalion’s voice made me stop stirring “and what is this game you have in mind” he asked. “me against you! One on one and if I beat you, your pack leaves and never comes back they split go there own was or I’ll kill them all” I stated boldly. I could hear the snigger come from both Deucalion and Kali, “and if I win this little fight what do I get” he asked.

This was where I’d hit a snag in your plan I didn’t have much to offer him really so playing to what I knew best “me, or my life anyway. You win and ether you can kill me and do whatever or I come back to the pack do what you say no questions asked like the old days” I said playing to his dominant ego “you know I was the best beta you had” I laughed at the growl coming from Kali. After a few minutes he hadn’t spoken “how about one last lesson sir” I know the word sir you make him agree, it was something he made you call him during training and it had stuck, but you also knew by saying the words he wouldn’t resist.  

He roared loud shifting his face, Kali, Ennis and the twins now the other was awake all gave small supporting growls. I met his challenge roaring loudly too shifting into my own full alpha wolf side, what I didn’t expect was the handsome wolf to roar with me “well it looks like you do have a pack after all y/n” Kali smiled looking at the Wolf. 

I didn’t have any time to think about them, Deucalion ran me swinging his cane, the point caught my arm leaving a tiny scratch. I stepped back before attacking him, catching his arm. I played weak to start letting him get and connect well planned hits. He was the type of guy who got sloppy as he got cocky I wanted him like that thinking he has control until I decided to take it away.

*** Peter pov ***

I was held by the twins as Deucalion tried to convince Derek into killing his pack and joining Deucalion. After Derek said no, and I’d tried to fight my way out Deucalion ordered Ethan to kill me “he’s not even in this pack so get rid of him” the words rang in my head as I thought of a way out of this. Ethan claws wrapped round my throat, when I saw him drop to the floor I looked to see the most incredible, gorgeous girl stood in the door way.

As she entered the loft the smell of anger, hate and a hint of fear hit my nose as I watched her challenge him. something about her turned me on, she looked at me I felt my heart pound at the sight of her. I lost my self looking her up and down her tight skinny jeans flat back boots and loose vest top. I know it wasn’t the ideal time for checking out the mysterious girl but she had my attention along with the rest if the room. 

“and if I win” I heard Deucalion say snapping me back out of my daydream. It took me a minute to work out what I had missed in there conversation. I watched him shift into what he called the demon wolf hid pack growling. Watching y/n she had no pack no back up, Derek and Issac both kept there heads down I felt bad for the little alpha, until she roared back. They sound went through me I could feel the vibrations in my body, without being able to stop myself I roared with her. We both look at each other with a hint of confusion when I see her eye flick from me to Deucalion’s pack and back again. 

He launched at her starting in their agreed battle, I watched her intently the way she moved, attacked twisted and turned her body. At first she didn’t look at good as her confidence sounded Deucalion getting in some nasty blows. I wanted to run to her fight with her, my head telling myself why she’s just a girl you don’t know. Y/n got hit hard in the face sending her back as she hit the floor by my feet, looking up at me she smiled winking. I couldn’t help think this was going her way the looked at me I couldn’t explain but she didn’t look defeated.  

“I thought I taught you better then that y/n” he growled as she got to her feet. Her expression was different now, like she was annoyed and flustered but I couldn’t help feel after the wink this was fake, a show for Deucalion. I watched the fight in front of me, as she started to fight back with an amazing skill. It was like watching a kung-fu movie. She had moves I’d never seen before.

*** y/n pov***

Everything was working out, well except for the new wolf who I couldn’t keep my eyes off. He was proving to be a slight distraction. Deucalion was now slowing and easing his attacks, trying to tell me corrections like this was a lesson. “your to slow with your actions, you should know better then that.” soon I turned up my attacks surprising him when I clawed his chest deeply, using his cockiness against him. After what felt like a good half an hour I was tired, cut sore but willing to keep going. I could see Deucalion getting tired too. After a continued sequence of blocked attacks on both sides it was like nether of you was winning or losing the fight.

I caught him in the face with a kick, he jumped up from the floor grabbing his cane, “time to end this” he growled swiping it from left to right diagonally, then back again. Watching his pattern I grabbed the cane as it came down spinning round behind him trapping his arms with his own cane. My claws digging into his throat “I win” I whisper in his ear. He roared “kill them” I looked the whole thing was like slow motion. Kali smiled still holding the metal pole her eyes fixed on the Wolf with the blue eyes, she lifted it to throw it. I clawed Deucalion not hard enough to kill him then kicked him to the floor. Spinning round as fast as I could, I dived on the man pushing him out the way. “you okay” I asked on top of him, behind me I heard voices shout out “peter”. He nodded as we both got up, he flicked out his claws smiling at me. Smiling back “go” I ordered. He ran at the twins, Derek and his beta was on there feet as Ennis ran at them. I looked round for Deucalion ready to finish what I came to do.

Kali stood in the way, she had wanted this for a long time, a chance to fight you finally to prove who was the better wolf. The fight didn’t last long, I beat Kali quick slamming my claws into her ribs until she bled out, then focused on Deucalion. His wounds from my claws was still deep as he struggled standing up “let’s finish this y/n” he said. I smiled at him “happily.” This time you didn’t waste your time playing, you ran at him your fangs out. You let him run at you this time, when he was inches away you ducked grabbing his arm and crouch pushing him to the plaster post in the wall. You didn’t give him time to react or say anything witty you wanted this to end now! Biting hard on his throat ripping the flesh away.

***Peter pov ***

She saved me, y/n had her enemy in her claws and dropped him for me. My head span as she laid onto of me, nobody had ever tried to save my life before not even my own nephew. As she got up a fight between everyone broke out. She ran to Kali and Deucalion, I took on the twins wanting payback for earlier. A loud roar made us all stop and look y/n had Deucalion in her hands blood round her mouth, the loft fell silent the only sound was his body hitting the floor. She looked at Ennis and the twins “leave now” she said calmly, they quickly left taking their dead pack members with them. It wasn’t until they had gone and the adrenaline wore of on her, she stumbled back almost collapsing. Derek and I grabbed her, helping her to a chair. She smiled at me this time I truly saw her, not just the sexy badass alpha but beauty in her eyes, sweetness of her face, that quickly changed to a wince.

When I took my hand from her it was sticky and red. I lifted her top to see the true damage Deucalion had done to her. I ran to get the first aid box, outside I heard Derek talking to her.

***y/n pov***

Derek came close as the other man ran out the room. The younger beta stood a little back looking like he didn’t know what to do. “I’m Derek H… ” he started but I cut him off “Hale, I know we met once a long time ago” I smile. He looked confused the words how and when clear on his face. “your mother offered me home with her but I left with Deucalion like an idiot, you was there too, but a lot younger back then” Derek nodded “this is Isaac my beta” he pointed to the young curly haired boy who smiled and gave a small wave. My eyes went to the doorway where the other man went “and that’s my uncle Peter” he told me. As I told them how I had been brought up by Deucalion after he’d had my family killed and why I left his pack, Peter helped clean the claw marks on my back as I spoke.

Peter brought me a drink over, even though being a werewolf I couldn’t get drunk but I appreciated the gesture. I didn’t notice Derek and Isaac leave, leaving me alone with Peter. “thanks” I muttered taking the glass from him, “your welcome y/n” his voice was smooth and deep. “I think you’d need it the way your feeling” he said. I looked at him “I don’t think anybody knows what I’m feeling”

***Peter pov***

She asked me how did I know how she was feeling and to be honest I didn’t I could only guess. “you feel relieved for killing the monster who killed your family but also empty now you have no goal no life long mission to hunt him down, leaving you numb” she looked you at me I know I’d perked her interest. “your also feeling grief even though you hated Deucalion for what he did, he was still the closest thing to family you had, and now your feeling more alone” I didn’t mean it to sound so sassy and mean.

“I guess you understand more than I thought!” she sadly smiled at me. I sat closer to get putting my arms round her “but you didn’t have to be alone” I told her. I couldn’t understand why I was drawn to her, maybe it was because she saved my life or the lustful feeling I had but I wanted to know more about her.

***y/n pov*** We had been talking for ages, his comforting arm around me didn’t feel strange or out of place. After an hour we was laughing and joking I had almost forgotten about killing Deucalion. The only reminder was when I laughed to hard and the healing cuts would sting. Peter looked at me holding a serious face, “why did you save me before” he asked. “probably for the same reason you roared with me before the fight” I answered he’s expression looking more puzzled “I think it’s a pack thing I felt a connection with you and I was hoping if you want I’d like you to join me as my beta” you told him.

Peter closed the gap between us, using his hand to move my hair from my face. “I felt a connection too just I was thinking something more then a beta” he said as he cupped my cheeks bringing his lips inches away from mine, he looked into my eyes giving me chance to push him away. I didn’t instead I landed forward meeting his lips. Peter dominated the kiss pushing me back till my back hit the wall. When he pulled away he rested his head on my forehead “what do you say little Alpha, do you want me as more than just your beta” his tones was raspy and seductive, I couldn’t say no to him. Wrapping my arms around his neck I kissed him again. He ran his hands down my sides to my thighs tapping them, I jumped a little as he held me up my legs rounds his waist. Peter didn’t break the kiss instead carried me up the stairs to his room in the loft.

He was right I didn’t have to be alone anymore, I knew from now on I would always have Peter Hale by my side.

Jason Peter Todd. Because you can’t tease him that much in season 2 and then not use him in season 3. 

If Jason appears, he should not be directly involved in the “Metahuman Trafficking” plot. Even as a bad guy, that is something that Jason would absolutely hate to be involved in. He should be introduced at the beginning half of the season and start a sort of B-plot that the team deals with alongside the other plot line. Interactions between Jason and other Bat-family members (especially Tim) need to be used not only to develop Jason but the other characters as well. By the end of the season, Jason is completely cool with everyone except Bruce and that relationship should be explored in season 4 (if there’s no time skip)

Wally West’s return as the actual “Fastest Man Alive”

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy need to be villains together and flirt the whole time they are fighting with the team

The team members wearing black need to have other costumes. I might die if I don’t see Dick in the black and blue or Artemis as Tigress.

Frickin give Cassie a new Wonder Girl costume! That is the exact same design as last season.

Artemis and Bart bonding moments as themselves and as Tigress and Kid Flash

That better be Traci 13 and not just an original character with a similar name 

When Wally returns, he should let Bart stay as Kid Flash. By this time, Iris will have had the twins and this would give Barry the opportunity to “retire” and formally give Wally the mantle of Flash

Dick Grayson has to be appropriately distant from the rest of the team at the beginning because he thinks that Wally’s “death” was his fault and that he was a terrible team leader and that everyone hates him (even though no one thinks that)

Now that 2018 Sundance Film Festival is officially over, the awards have now all be dlivered with top prizes going to The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Kailash, Of Fathers and Sons, and Butterflies While many thought it was a weak lineup of films in the festival, I enjoyed everything I saw, even those that weren't as strong like Robert Pattinson's latest. But that's what film festivals are all about; see films you probably would have missed otherwise. Many won't go on to greatness, but finding that diamond in the rough is what makes it so exciting to me. So below is the complete list of winners. After 10 days and 123 feature films, the 2018 Sundance Film Festival's Awards Ceremony took place tonight, with host Jason Mantzoukas emceeing and jurors presenting 28 prizes for feature filmmaking in Park City, Utah. Honorees, named in total below, represent new achievements in global independent storytelling. Bold, intimate, and humanizing stories prevailed across categories, with Grand Jury Prizes awarded to The Miseducation of Cameron Post (U.S. Dramatic), Kailash (U.S. Documentary), Of Fathers and Sons (World Cinema Documentary) and Butterflies (World Cinema Dramatic).
