Hello sanne! I have a request, if it inspires you: what about reader who's been hurt and has amnesia when they wake up. And Jason is there and reader gets all flustered because pretty boy alert!! Pretty boy is speaking gently to them!! And in actuality Jason and reader are together. I hope that made sense 😭 love your writing so so much!!
this is such a sweet request!
jason todd x gn!reader. tw medical setting, reader is on pain meds and has been in an accident, major major fluff, established relationship.
****
The first thing you notice is that your mouth tastes... not good.
You try to swallow and clear out the taste. All that happens is a useless smack of your tongue. Your throat is too dry for any swallowing to happen.
"...been out for about twelve hours. Yeah, I've been here the whole time."
You're pretty sure that you know that voice. You're drawing a blank on that voice's name, but you swear you know the voice.
"They're awake. Yeah, bye."
It's deep and warm and soft and yes. You definitely know the voice.
Okay. Opening your eyes.
You do so with substantial effort. Your vision is bleary. All you can make out are blobs of gray. You've got a lot of eye boogies in your eyes. You can feel them.
But you're not really sure about where your hands are at this moment in time, so the eye boogies will have to camp out for a little longer.
"Hey." The bed shifts. That warm voice gets closer. "Hey, hey. Y'thirsty?"
A straw taps your lips. You clumsily take it and drink until it gurgles and there's no more water.
"Yeah, I'll bet you're thirsty. Want more?"
You shake your head. A cool, rough hand pets your forehead. Oh, that's nice. That's very nice. The bedside manner in this hospital is impeccable. A little forward, but you don't mind. The voice and his hand are both very polite.
Time to try to actually see some shit. You hone in on your vision, putting every iota of brainpower into processing what your eyes are telling your brain.
A figure. A man. Huzzah!
Oh. Oh, wow. A very beautiful man. A big, hulking, beautiful man.
He's young, boyishly handsome. His eyes are bright. A scar is etched from the top of his right temple to his lip. There's a white streak in his dark hair. Is that a trend now? You can't remember.
"Where 'm I?" you ask.
"You're in the Batcave. How much do you remember, honey?" the gorgeous, beautiful, dreamboat nurse asks.
Well, you remember being in a car, and then being ejected from that car, and then hot, blinding pain, and then... waking up.
"Car accident?" you manage.
Pretty Nurse nods. Is he a nurse? He looks more like a biker, with his leather jacket and empty holsters. He looks like he could pin you down with one arm and—
Whoa. Chill.
"Yeah, kinda. There was an explosion. You hit your head pretty hard." He strokes the back of your head, frowning. "How do you feel?"
You feel like your head has an anvil tied to it. But it's okay, because look at this biker-nurse! Wowza!
He takes your hand (you have hands! Huzzah!) and strokes your knuckles with his thumb, which is fine, actually, because he has really nice eyes. You want to tell him.
"You h've nice eyes," you say.
Pretty Nurse blinks, looking startled. His cheeks go a little pink. "Oh. Um, thanks, baby. Y'sweet."
Baby? Do you really have that much rizz as a medical patient? You can't imagine how irresistible you must be when you haven't been in an explosion.
But then everything shatters when you look down and see a silver band on his hand. What the shit! He's married? Or engaged, at least. Son of a biscuit.
And he's flirting with you? What a pig!
You snatch your hand back, suddenly sour. Pretty Nurse raises his eyebrows.
"What's a'matter?"
"You have a ring," you say, voice dripping in contempt.
"I—" He looks down. "Uh, well, yeah. I do."
Devastating. "If you're taken, you shouldn't be flirting with me, jerk."
He squints. "Wh—oh. Oh. Huh."
Pretty Biker Nurse looks like you've just said something funny. You don't see what's so funny about infidelity. May God strike him down!
He smiles coyly. "D'you know who I am, sweetheart?"
"Yes," you say, glowering. "Y'just a no-good philanderer who should be ashamed of hi'self. Don't care how handsome you are; I won't enter your web of lies!"
He laughs, bright and sweet. Damn him! You need a different nurse. This one is the epitome of temptation.
"Oh, baby. Oh, you're too cute. Can I take your hand?"
"Not if you're gonna flirt more," you say, lifting your chin. "Dirtbag."
"Your moral code is incredible, honey. Good to know I'll never have anything to worry about, though I never doubted you. Can I show you something, though?"
He lifts your hand and on your finger is a gold band. More delicately shaped than his ring, but similar.
"Oh my God," you say, panic growing. "I'm cheating on my husband."
He laughs louder this time. "Your fiancé, actually. Wedding isn't till August. And no, honeylove. You're not cheatin', 'cause I'm right here."
He leans in and kisses your forehead. Your hackles raise for a moment until... wait...
"You're my fiancé?" you ask, eyes huge.
He smiles shyly. "In the flesh. Y'remember my name?"
You feel like it's a J name. "J..."
"Jason," he says gently. "Yeah, wow. They got you on some pretty strong meds, huh? Leslie said you should start to remember more stuff in a day."
Jason. Pretty Biker Nurse Jason. Holy moly. He's engaged to you? About to marry you?
"You are so pretty," you blurt.
That makes Jason more shy. He smiles like he's done something he's not supposed to do. "Not as pretty as you, honey pie."
"No, you're... I mean, wow. Sorry I called you a jerk. How did I get with you? That's crazy. You're fine as hell."
Jason snorts, wide shoulders shaking. His cheeks are red. "Jesus, you're shameless."
Well, yeah. You're still not sure this isn't a dream. You have to let your fiancé know exactly what you think about him.
You prepare to tell him something smooth and romantic. Something about how kissable he looks.
"Y'look like a sexy biker."
Hm. Not exactly what you had in mind. Your brain feels like a blue raspberry slushie.
Jason grins. "Oh, yeah? That why you been starin' at me? Didn't know you had a thing for bikers. You're terrified of going on my motorcycle."
How does he know that? It's true; you like bikers from afar but you're not about to get on a death machine, thanks.
"You can rev my engine," you say, head slumping against the pillow.
"Oh my God," Jason says, clearly delighted. "Don't think I've ever seen this reaction to pain meds."
"Can't believe we're engaged," you say again. "How'd we even meet?"
"Well, I'm a vigilante of sorts, and the first time we met was after I saved you from a mugging. And then we kinda just... kept running into each other. You bought me coffee without realizing who I was. And we, uh, fell in love. As people do."
"You proposed to me in Spain," you say suddenly, the memory rushing back. "You... you wanted to prove you wouldn't put work above us."
Jason nods, lacing your and his fingers together. "Yeah, that's right. Three weeks in Spain." He pulls out his phone and shows you the lockscreen. It's of you two. Jason has sunglasses on. You're smiling. You can't remember ever smiling like that before.
Tears suddenly spring to your eyes, emotion smacking into you like an eighteen-wheeler. Jason leans in, concerned.
"Baby? Hey, what's wrong? Something hurts?" he asks, inspecting your head.
Your mouth quivers. "You... you love me so much."
Jason stops, tilting his head. "I... uh, yeah. 'Course I do. You're the person I love the most in the world."
That makes you cry, tears running down your cheeks. Jason's eyes widen in alarm.
"Sweetheart? What's—hey, it's okay. Why're y'crying, huh?"
He brushes your tears away with his thumbs, cradling your face. You sniffle.
"I'm s-sorry I called you a dirtbag," you blubber. "Y'not a dirtbag. You love me so much."
"Oh-ho, oh, honey. Baby, you've been unconscious for twelve hours. You're under heavy medication. I know you didn't recognize me, it's okay. Trust me, I've been called far worse," Jason says tenderly.
Dear God, you're a beast. What kind of person doesn't recognize their own fiancé?! You cry harder.
"I should've remembered you! I'm a bad fiancé," you wail.
"Aw, sweetheart. No, no, it's okay. C'mere."
Jason scoots you over slightly and pulls you into his arms. You cry into his shoulder, slobbering all over his sexy biker jacket. He rubs circles on your back.
"You're really cute and nice and I'm glad y'marrying me," you say, muffled in his shoulder.
Jason hums, the sound vibrating through you. "I'm really happy to be marrying you, sweetheart. You rock my world."
You sniff. "Really?"
"Mmhm." Jason kisses the side of your neck. "How 'bout you sleep a little more, hm? I bet you're exhausted."
Now that he mentions it, you do feel pretty worn-out. Especially after crying. And almost getting blown up.
"Will you be here when I wake up?"
"Absolutely, honey. I swear."
Jason eases you onto your back. Your eyes are beginning to feel heavy.
"Sleep, beautiful. I'm right here."

A Round Door Like a Porthole, Lazarus Green Pt. 1 Pt. 2 (you're here) Pt. 3 Pt. 4
Art of LBM
Danny was still lying under the Specter Speeder, mind reeling as the words “they opened this portal with a child sacrifice, and bound his death and all the lost life potential to their bloody machine to create a perpetual gateway to the Infinite Realms” ran in a loop through his head. Could that really be true? Is his death attached to the portal, forever lodged in the doorway, preventing it from closing?
The guy clearly knew what he was talking about. The bit about why his ghost friends and frenemies caused so much chaos as they unleashed their obsessions on Amity Park made so much sense. It would certainly explain a lot of his interactions with ghosts after he died.
Danny silently cursed himself for not destroying everything in the lab before they got here. He and Jazz hadn't worried about the portal schematics, because they honestly didn't have any way to open a portal, only cycle energy in a recursive loop that shouldn’t have done anything. No one, not he and Jazz, not their parents, not Tucker or Technus, had been able to figure out why it had worked when Danny was inside. But if the machine was able to sustain a portal that was already opened. . . He wondered idly if he could light a fire that looked accidental and would both destroy the lab and leave the two men enough time to escape. It’d probably be too risky. And who knew what destroying the portal would do to him. Fully kill him? Destroy him completely and shatter his core? It might be worth it to prevent anyone from gaining this knowledge.
No wonder Lex Luthor was interested in this business. A child was murdered in this basement, and for all Tim knew, the child’s soul could still be trapped here fueling a Lazarus Pit that connected the world of the living to the afterlife. What Luthor could do with an interdimensional portal or even a single sample of Lazarus water. . . Tim shuddered to think.
On the one hand, he was grateful that Wayne Enterprises secured the business before Luthor had the chance. On the other hand, he felt rather ill to think his family had directly enriched mad scientists who performed child sacrifices. At least he had full faith that between him and Oracle, they’d hunt the Fentons down and make sure justice was served.
“What is to be done for the child?” Tim asked Constantine. “Is his soul tied to that machine?”
“I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s just his death.”
“You’re gonna have to explain the difference to me, ‘cause I’m not sure I see the distinction.” Tim said wryly.
“I guess. . . Hm. You could think of it as the moment of transition drawn out endlessly like a plucked string whose note never stops vibrating. Like life is the anchor point of one end of the string, and the afterlife is at the other end, and the child’s death is the note created when his soul crosses from one side to the other. The soul is the bow causing reverberations, but the reverberations are the actual death itself. The effect of the soul’s passage. And in this case, the portal is amplifying the death so it doesn’t end like a normal death ‘note’ would.” Constantine leaned in to examine some of the runes that were part of the array. “Not a perfect metaphor, obviously, since you bow perpendicular rather than parallel to the string, and death and souls are nothing like music, but you get the idea, right?”
Tim was still caught on John Constantine saying the words “death note” together unironically in a sentence. He was going to have to share that with Steph later. Maybe with the whole family group chat, even. “Yeah, the metaphor makes sense, as much as any of this occult stuff does to me.”
“Whatever. As for whether there’s anything we can do for the child, I think we’ll have to try and summon him if we can.” The Brit started pulling items out of his trenchcoat’s inner pockets. “We need to ask what the spirit wants done, before we go messing with things we don’t understand.”
“Alright, need anything from me?”
“Yeah, move this stuff out of the way so I can draw a circle.” Constantine directed Tim to shove aside a few stacks of boxes, something called a Fenton Ghost Weasel, and together they shifted a coffin-shaped iron maiden that for some reason was labeled Fenton Stockades. Then he set to work chalking a circle and runes on the ground.
Finally he sat back and dusted chalk off his hands. “That should do it.”
“Will this be bright too?” Tim asked warily.
“Eh, might be? Shouldn’t be too bad.”
Tim grabbed an auto-darkening welding helmet with a green “Fenton” sticker on it off the workbench and slipped it on.
“Alright, here goes.” Constantine began the summoning ritual.
While Danny debated arson, the other two had finished clearing a space and chalked some kind of circle onto the floor. He tuned back into the conversation when he heard the trenchcoat guy begin a traditional incantation for a summoning. Were they trying to summon him? Danny really hoped it wouldn’t work.
When people tried to summon the Ghost King he could almost always ignore the pull. This pull, however, was very strong and immediate. It seemed proximity made a difference, or this guy was just better at summonings than the average cultist. Before Danny could accept the inevitable, he was pulled bodily — literally! — out from under the vehicle and across the floor, still flat on his back on the Fenton Under Car Creeper, with the Specter Speeder’s ecto-engine hugged tightly to his chest. The wheels of the Fenton Creeper (not to be mistaken with the Fenton Anti-Creep Stick) sped him straight to the summoning circle. Still very much in human form.
This was his first real look at the guy called Constantine, and he couldn’t help a horrified yelp. “Eugh!! What the fuck is wrong with you, dude!?!!”
His lapse in attention made him lose the battle with the summoning spell, and it gripped him, pulling him through the convolutions of the spellwork even though he was already lying half across the circle, and forcing him to change into Phantom in the process. It was such a disgusting sensation, like he was one of those squishy water filled tube snake toys that look like a fleshlight, and someone squeezed really hard and abruptly so he turned inside out and went flying to go splat against a wall (or in this case, against the ground inside the circle of chalk). He tried and failed not to retch.
The younger man in the crisp suit whom he’d already identified as Mr. CEO-Timothy-Drake-Wayne looked at him in startled bafflement, while the older blond, still smoking his cigarette, (gross, and was that thing never ending?) was probably looking at him. Maybe. It was really difficult to tell, because he was a frankly vile sight. Danny winced and swallowed down nausea. “What have you done to your soul?”
“I — what?”
“Trypophobia central, man! Ugh that’s gotta be the grossest thing I’ve ever seen. Can’t you cover it up?”
“Who are you?” Timothy Drake-Wayne interjected.
“I’m the dead guy? You literally just summoned me.”
“Constantine said you were a child”
“I mean, I was?” Danny looked down at his obviously twenty-something year-old self and rubbed the back of his neck. “It’s been a while since I was fourteen though. These things happen.”
“Not typically, no. The dead tend to be pretty unaging.” Constantine said.
“Dude I’m not having a conversation with you while your soul looks like Escher’s swiss cheese nightmare. Anyways, some of us do. Heck, I know a guy who constantly shifts from infant to old man and every stage in between. It’s pretty distracting when you’re trying to get him to let you fix the timeline again.” Danny continued to look anywhere but at the blond man. “But if it’s so important to you, I can —” He got an abstracted look, and slowly de-aged himself until the two men stood over a fourteen year old boy with snow white hair and glowing green eyes.
“That does not help. No.” The guy whose soul looked somewhat like a bleeding tooth fungus said. He turned away and started doing something magical. Danny hoped it would mask his soul in some way, but so far all it did was make Danny feel like he needed to pop his ears.
He also felt particularly uncharitable, so he didn’t revert to his natural age, and instead tried to see how young and cute he could make himself appear.
“So are you just haunting this basement? Seems hazardous, given the former proprietors.” Timothy tried to redirect the conversation. He didn’t seem nearly as distressed to see the ghost of a child, but his eyes darted surreptitiously to the Lichtenberg figure Danny used to always hide under gloves.
“Nah, haven’t been back here in years. I mostly live in my Infinite Realms haunt these days.”
“You . . . live? Is that just a figure of speech?”
“It’s rude to ask about a ghost’s nonliving status, you know. Highly taboo to ask how a ghost died or poke into the circumstances of our deaths without permission.” Danny admonished. Making himself younger than fourteen took more effort than he expected.
“Alright, I’m sorry,” Timothy raised his hands placatingly to the boy who now looked younger than Damian. “What brings you back to Amity Park?”
“Uh, you summoned me? Are we still not clear on that?”
Tim looked pointedly at the Fenton Creeper and the engine Danny still held. He’d shrunk down to the size of a four year old, and the engine really should be crushing him given it was bigger than his torso now. He quickly set it aside, and turned his biggest puppy dog eyes on Tim.
“You were in here already, and you looked pretty alive for a moment there.”
“I can look lots of ways!” Danny focused really hard on looking as cute, small, and nonthreatening as possible. He thought it was working when all of a sudden there was a pop! and he was smaller than he’d ever managed before.
Timothy Drake-Wayne looked like a giant. The other guy, who had thankfully managed to put away his soul somehow, wore scuffed oxfords bigger than Danny. Hell, he could probably fit his entire self into one of Constantine’s shoes if that wasn’t a bizarre thing to do, and they weren’t already full of stinky feet. Holy shit what happened to him!?
Tim blinked down at the cat? Snake? Ghost. . . thing at his feet. What the fuck. A moment ago he was talking to an adult man whom he’s pretty sure was dead and he’s very sure was trolling them. Now his interlocutor had turned into an adorable creature with soft white paws, a long twisting tail, big pointed ears that swiveled like a cats, and a humanoid face that should’ve been creepy but was actually eliciting cute-aggression in him. Tim blinked again. The little baby ghost creature blinked enormous green eyes back at him. Then it yawned, revealing three rows of needle sharp teeth that looked like a cross between what you’d find in the mouth of a shark and a cat. Yikes.
“Does that mean the interview is over?” Tim asked him.
The creature just blinked up at him again, then zeroed in on his shoelaces, pupils expanding until only a narrow band of green ringed them.
Yup. The interview was over. Those paws hid some wicked claws which could apparently slice through leather with ease. Oh, Tim really hoped ghost scratch fever wasn’t a thing. At least the ghost looked sufficiently contrite after he yelped, and it waited while he removed a shoelace to sacrifice as a toy.
If Damian ever met him, there would be a new member of the family. Maybe he should name the creature preemptively so they didn’t have a cat-snake named Bat-Ghost in Wayne manor.
“Do you have a name, little baby cat-snake ghost? Little baby ghost man?” He cooed as the miniature monster dashed back and forth, intent on shredding his shoelace.
The ghost paused long enough to chirp, “Li’l baby man!” before launching himself at the string. Even shocked, Tim’s reflexes had him whisking the toy out of the way, and the ghost went careening under a cabinet.
He wedged himself in the gap, landing face first in a dust bunny, and quickly wriggled backwards with an indignant squall. His wordless protestations cut off as he fell into a violent sneezing fit that thankfully dislodged him from beneath the cabinet.
Tim suppressed his laugh, and asked, “Little Baby Man? Is that what you want to be called?”
The ghost pawed most of the dust away from his nose, but spider webs covered his face and a big dust bunny perched atop his head like a fascinator with a cobweb lace veil. He looked Tim right in the eyes and nodded, dislodging the dust in his hair and setting off more sneezes.
“Li’l Baby Man” he confirmed. He placed a paw on Tim’s shoe and chirped, “Tim!” Then he pointed his tail at Constantine and said, “Gross!” with narrowed eyes.

Ciaran was quite special. Very handsome, always surrounded by people. You aren’t sure if being with him was a blessing or a curse.
He swore he was yours only, but you can’t help but feel hurt when he is flirting with someone right in front of you. There are also times where his phone blows with notifications from different people. It hurt, your heart felt like it was shattering just to be put back and destroyed again.
But the last straw was when you got a message from one of his lovers, they got a moment ofweakness, they felt bad and spilled everything out in a long message. The cherry on top were screenshots and photos of them kissing each other.
You were sure this time your heart just ceases to exist. You cried a lot that day, not ready to face Ciaran. You packed his things and left them outside of the door.
Tumblr media
It baffled him how you would leave him just like that, it was just a small misunderstanding. It was, he thinks, just one time thing. You got just oh so boring he couldn’t take it anymore. He still loves you! He really does.
He missed your smile, your smell, how beautiful you looked in the rising sun when you just woke up. His heart squeezes in his chest. Another night spent waiting by your door, you won’t let him in of course, but he just likes to sit there, happily humming when he sees you through your windows. It became a routine, you never called the cops on him, which means you still must like him. Hope burned in his chest, and slowly the obsession for you began.
And he will get his little boyfriend back. You don’t feel safe in your house anymore, Ciarian gave up on sitting outside of your house yes, but now you can’t stop receiving messages and calls from random numbers.
Tumblr media
Sometimes the caller breathes, silently stuttering your name, sometimes even moaning. Calling you his little pretty boy and shit. It made your stomach twist. You called the police many times, but at this point they just don’t believe you because of your lack of evidence. Lazy bastards. You also began receiving gifts, your favorite food, drinks, clothes that fit you perfectly. There was well, one time where your friend was over and one of these gifts appeared, with a card attached to it. A box of chocolates.
You were very tired that day, barely keeping yourself awake, you told your friend to take it. They accepted gladly, and began to eat while you went to the kitchen to make some coffee for you and them, that's when you heard a shriek and gagging sounds. You ran to your friend and saw them pulling hair out of their mouth, there was some skin attached to it. Your friend threw up soon after.
So, after that incident their gifts landed in trash. You feared what you might find out in them next. You don’t feel safe here, but you don’t have enough money to move. So like a rational person, you took another shift. The less you are home the better. It turns out you were wrong.
You came back in the middle of the night, you were practically falling asleep while standing up. You took off your shoes and headed to the kitchen for a sip of water so you can head to bed. When you turned on the light you froze in place. A beautifully wrapped heart shaped box sat on the counter waiting. You swallowed, body moving on your own. The gifts never appeared inside of your house. Hell, they are getting bolder with each gift. As you got closer to the box, a foul smell filled your senses. It was sweet, a little fruity.  Your shaking hands hovered over the opening of the box, carefully lifting up the lid.
Tumblr media
Your scream echoed through the house, as you fell down to the floor. Inside of the box was a human heart, carefully placed and surrounded by your favourite flowers.
You felt a hand on your shoulder, and a warm breath on your cheek.
Ciaran.
Your breath hitched, you didn’t dare to move as his bloody hands wrapped around your shaking form.
“Did you like my gift? Only the best for my boyfriend, do you forgive me now? Look how much I have done for you.” He kissed your cheek.
“I forgive you for kicking me out, I’m a better man after all of this has ended you know? Now we can be together forever.”

Sucker
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: 3 times KK was a sucker for you.
wc: 1,315
Contains: suggestive??... one mention of blood, fluff mostly
______________________________
ONE
“Baby, that doesn't even make any fucking sense.” KK rubs her forehead in frustration. It's date night for you two, and you've made the mistake of revealing how much you've spent on makeup in the last month to her.
“It's not even that much, bro.” You say, rolling your eyes. KK's eyes glance between yours and the road, jaw dropping. “You're telling me that spending two hundred dollars on makeup within a month doesn't bother your conscience-no, your bank account in the slightest?!”
You smile, eyes falling to your hands in your lap. “What?” KK asked, your change in demeanor noticeable. When you didn't answer she asked again.
“What?! What's funny?!” You look at her, shrug and smile. “My bank account feels fine.” Her face drops.
“I bought that, didn't I?”
You smile a little harder, if that was even possible. “You did indeed.” She sighs and shakes her head, a small smile placed on her face.
At her silence, you start to feel a little guilty, even though she never had a problem with it, it is her money.
“Is that okay…? I can return it- I'm sure they'll take it back, I've barely-”
Her hand on your thigh cuts you off, rubbing comforting circles. “Baby, baby, it's okay*. What's mine is yours.” She said softly.
“But two hundred is a lot of money.” You say your voice level lowering.
“And I'd give millions more if it means you can buy whatever you want.” She smiles, her hand cupping your face, pulling you into a quick kiss. “I love you, baby.”
“I love you, too.”
“So… how many things did you get for two hundred?” You're silent once more.
“Nevermind. I don't even wanna know.”
TWO
It's been three hours since KK had invited Paige, Ice, and Jana over to hang out. The first couple hours were spent playing Fortnite, and it left you bored out of your mind. Just when you thought they'd get off the game and do something else, Paige suggested 2k.
Which is why you're currently in the kitchen messing with anything you can get your hands on. You're bored out of your mind, and desperately need some type of stimulation, but you don't want to stop the girls from having fun.
You've already done the laundry, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned your KK room, and now you were in the kitchen messing with anything possible. It was already clean, so you were just doing the dishes. You were drying a glass cup, when it slipped out of your hand, shattering on the ground. You gasp in surprise as the shards of glass prick your leg, one larger piece breaking the skin in your shin.
Immediately, KK is throwing the controller on the couch, sprinting over to you. Her eyes are filled with concern, softening when she sees you're okay, but the concern lingering when she notices the blood on your leg.
“Baby, what happened? Are you okay?” She says, eyes dragging up and down your body, double checking for more possible injuries. You smile, but it falters when you feel your leg sting.
“Yeah, I just cut my leg.” You wince as you lean back on the counter. At this point, the other three girls have joined you both in the kitchen, hearing the commotion as well.
“Woah, what the hell’d you do?” Ice asked, attempting to hide her laugh, but failing. KK glares at her before turning back to you. “Here, sit on the counter…Paige, can you grab the first aid kit?”
KK lifts you onto the counter. “Why me?? Make Ice do it, she's the one laughing!” You smile as KK turns to Paige slowly. KK doesn't say anything, but Paige gets the hint, rolling her eyes as she goes to the bathroom.
“KK, it's fine, just a little scratch, let me clean up the mess.” She looks at you standing between your thighs stopping you from standing. “Fuck no. Jana can do that.”
“What? I'm not doing jack shit.”
“I'll give you twenty bucks.”
Jana opens the cabinet, grabbing the broom and beginning to sweep. Paige walks in, giggling at Jana, who shoots her a warning look, before handing the first aid kit to KK.
You smile as KK lifts your leg gently, pulling the tiny pieces of glass out of your shin. She soothingly rubs your leg as you wince. “I know, baby, I know. I'm sorry.”
Giggles echo, stopping when KK turns around. “Can y’all get the fuck out?” The three promptly disappear into the living room, quiet mockings of KK’s voice reaching your ears. “I can still hear you!” KK shouts, rolling her eyes.
You stare at her as she finishes pitching up your leg. Her eyes eventually meet yours, scanning your face. “What?” She asks.
You shake your head, pulling her flush against the counter, her body standing between your legs, her hands instinctively migrating to your thighs.
“You're so cute.” You whisper, wrapping your arms around her neck, pulling her impossibly closer. She smiles, burying her head in your neck, groaning loudly. She always gets flustered when you compliment her.
You laugh before she pulls back, kissing you deeply. “You're so sexy.”
“Mm… am I?” You ask seductively. KK nods, leaning to your lips. You sigh into the kiss, her hands wandering to your waist as yours find their way to her jaw.
She pulls away from your lips, immediately attaching her lips to your neck. She sucks lightly, kissing the marks that would inevitably end up there.
“KK..” She hums against your skin, continuing her gentle assault on your neck. “KK.” You say more sternly this time.
You laugh as she huffs and pulls away. “Later, baby, later.” She pouts, kissing you once more before helping you down.
You both walk into the living room, all the girls busy on their phone. KK leans into you, her lips dangerously close to your ear. “They wouldn't even have noticed.”
You slap her arm. “You're so fucking horny.” You roll your eyes.
“For you? Always?”
“Ugh, you're corny too.” You say, walking over to the couch, ignoring how turned on you are.
THREE
The team had just had an amazing game against South Carolina, so naturally, they went out clubbing. The Huskies went from bar to bar, dancing and drinking at one before moving to another. Classic bar-hopping.
At this point, you are far from being sober and KK was almost as drunk as you. That didn't stop her from being an amazing girlfriend.
When she recognized you both were plastered, she called an Uber and slurred a destination to the driver. You both made your way to the car, before you winced at the ache of your feet.
KK noticed immediately because she always did, and guided you to the nearest bench. “What're ya doin’?” You asked as she struggled to take your shoes off.
“Taking your shoes off. We’re switching.” She said it like it was obvious. You shake your head. “You don't have to do that.” You mumble.
It's too late now, she's already putting her shoes on your feet, tying the laces tight.
“I know. I want to.” She says, helping you up, your heels in one hand, leaving her in her socks.
“KK- socks? Really? At least put the heels on.”
“I'm already drunk as fuck, we wouldn't even make it to the car if I was in these fuckers. I truly don't know how you've been in them all night.”
You giggle as you interlink your arm with hers, leaning your weight on her.
“Thank you.” You smile up at her appreciatively.
She looks down at you, eyes filled with what can only be described as undying love. “Of course, baby. I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
A comfortable silence settles between you both.
“Would you ever wear the heels so-” You begin.
“No.”

But it wouldn‘t hurt to give him a second chance, right.?
But as much as you wanted to believe that a second chance could heal the wounds between you, doubt gnawed at the edges of your resolve. The pain he had caused was not something easily forgotten, and the memories of the betrayal still stung like fresh wounds. You had to consider what giving him another chance would mean—not just for your relationship with him, but for your own self-worth, your own sense of dignity.
"Gojo," you began, your voice steady despite the turmoil inside, "you say you want another chance, but can you honestly tell me why? Is it because you've realized what you lost, or because you're afraid of being alone now that she's gone?"
His eyes widened, as if the question had struck a chord deep within him. He struggled to find the right words, his expression a mix of desperation and confusion. "I... I just know that I don't want to lose you. I made a mistake, I see that now. I was stupid, selfish, but I swear, I’ve changed."
"You’ve changed?" you echoed, the skepticism clear in your tone. "How can I trust that? Last time, you promised me the world, only to break me apart when it suited you. How do I know this time won’t be the same?"
Gojo remained silent for a moment, the weight of your words sinking in. You could see the conflict in his eyes, the struggle between his desire to make things right and the reality of the pain he had caused.
"I don’t know how to prove it to you," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I want to try. I want to be the person you deserve, the one who won’t hurt you again."
You let out a soft sigh, the tension in your chest making it hard to breathe. His sincerity tugged at your heart, but the scars he had left made it difficult to simply accept his words at face value. You had to think about what was best for you, not just what he wanted.
"Gojo," you said slowly, choosing your words carefully, "I need to understand something. What would be different this time? How do you expect me to believe that you're not just saying these things because you're hurt and vulnerable right now? That you won't just fall back into old habits the moment things get tough?"
He looked down, his hands trembling slightly as they gripped yours tighter. "I’ve learned from my mistakes," he said, his voice laced with determination. "I know I hurt you, and I regret it more than anything. I took you for granted, and I was wrong. I can’t take back what I did, but I want to show you that I can be better—that I can love you the way you deserve to be loved."
The sincerity in his voice was almost enough to break down your defenses. Almost. But the reality of the situation loomed large in your mind. You had been here before, heard these promises before, only to be left shattered in the end.
"Do you really understand what you're asking of me?" you asked, your voice soft but firm. "You're asking me to put my heart on the line again, to risk everything for the chance that you might actually change this time. But what if you don't? What if I let you back in, only to find myself back in this same place a few months from now?"
Gojo's expression faltered, the weight of your words sinking in. He knew you were right—he was asking for a lot, maybe too much. But still, he refused to give up.
"I can't promise that everything will be perfect," he said, his voice raw with emotion. "But I can promise that I’ll fight for us, that I won’t make the same mistakes again. I’ll prove to you that I’m serious this time. Just... please, give me a chance to show you."
Your heart ached at the sight of him, so vulnerable and desperate for your forgiveness. You wanted to believe him, to believe that he could change, that he could become the man you needed him to be. But the fear of getting hurt again was a powerful force, one that you couldn't simply ignore.
"I don't know if I can do this, Gojo," you said, your voice trembling with the weight of the decision before you. "I don't know if I can put myself through this again, not after everything that's happened."
He looked at you with a mix of hope and despair, as if he knew he was teetering on the edge of losing you forever. "Please," he whispered, his voice breaking. "Just one more chance. Let me show you that I can be better."
You closed your eyes, the tears finally spilling over as the emotions you had been holding back crashed over you like a tidal wave. The love you had for him was still there, buried beneath the pain and betrayal, but it was overshadowed by the fear of being hurt again.
Finally, you opened your eyes and met his gaze, your heart heavy with the weight of your decision. "Gojo, I need time," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "I can't just jump back into this like nothing happened. I need time to think, to figure out what's best for me."
His face fell, but he nodded, understanding that this was as much as you could give him right now. "I’ll wait," he said, his voice filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "I’ll wait as long as it takes."
With that, you slowly pulled your hand away from his, the warmth of his touch lingering even as you stepped back. The distance between you felt like a chasm, one that might never be bridged again. But for now, it was what you needed—to find your own path, to heal in your own time.
As you turned to walk away, leaving him kneeling there in the cold, you couldn’t help but wonder if you had made the right choice. The future was uncertain, the path ahead filled with doubts and unanswered questions. But one thing was clear: you had to choose yourself this time, even if it meant walking away from the man you once loved.
As you walked away, the echoes of your footsteps reverberating through the quiet night, the weight of your decision settled heavily on your shoulders. Each step felt like an eternity, as if the very air around you was thick with the tension of what had just transpired. The distance between you and Gojo grew, but the connection, the history, and the unresolved emotions hung in the air, clinging to you like a shadow.
You couldn’t help but replay his words over and over in your mind. The desperation in his voice, the sincerity in his eyes—were they enough? Could a person truly change, or was it just wishful thinking? The memories of your time together flooded your mind, both the good and the bad, each moment tinged with the bittersweetness of what once was and what might never be again.
But as you walked further, a different voice began to whisper in the back of your mind, a voice that questioned your own choices, your own feelings. You had been hurt, yes, but was there a part of you that still longed for the love you once shared? Was there still a flicker of hope that things could be different this time, that the man you had loved was still in there, waiting to be rediscovered?
You stopped walking, standing there in the dim light of the streetlamp, your breath visible in the cold night air. The silence was deafening, your thoughts swirling like a storm inside your head. You had asked for time, but the truth was, you didn’t know how much time you would need. The wound was still fresh, the trust still shattered, and yet, beneath all that pain, there was a part of you that wanted to believe in second chances.
What if you were being too harsh? What if, in pushing him away, you were closing the door on something that could be beautiful again? The questions gnawed at you, each one more persistent than the last. Could you really walk away from him, from everything you had built together, without giving him the chance to prove himself? Was it fair to judge him solely on his past mistakes, without considering the possibility that he had learned from them?
As you stood there, lost in thought, the memories of the love you once shared began to resurface. The way he used to look at you, the way his laughter would fill the room, the warmth of his embrace on a cold night—it all felt so distant now, yet so painfully close. You remembered the moments of joy, the times when it felt like nothing in the world could come between you. Those memories were precious, and they weren’t so easily erased by the pain he had caused.
But then, there were the darker memories, the ones that cut deep into your soul. The lies, the betrayal, the feeling of being second best—those wounds were still raw, still bleeding, and the thought of reopening them was terrifying. You had worked so hard to rebuild yourself, to find strength in your own company, to remember who you were without him. Letting him back in meant risking all of that, risking everything you had fought so hard to regain.
A small voice inside you, however, urged you to reconsider. People could change, couldn’t they? Life wasn’t black and white, and relationships were messy, complicated. What if Gojo truly had realized the error of his ways? What if he was genuinely remorseful, ready to make amends and to be the partner you needed him to be?
You shook your head, trying to clear the confusion. You had to be sure, had to know that whatever decision you made, it was the right one for you. Turning around, you saw Gojo still kneeling where you had left him, his form barely visible in the distance. He hadn’t moved, hadn’t given up, even though you had walked away.
Was it really fair to expect him to change? Could you risk your heart again on the mere possibility that things might be different this time?
The truth was, you weren’t ready to forgive him. Not yet, and maybe not ever. The wounds were still too fresh, the scars too deep. Giving him another chance felt like inviting more pain into your life, a pain you weren’t sure you could endure again.
You took a deep breath and forced your feet to move, each step taking you further away from the man you once loved. The night was silent, the only sound was the soft crunch of gravel under your shoes as you walked down the empty street. The distance between you and Gojo grew, but so did the clarity in your mind. You deserved more than empty promises and second chances. You deserved someone who wouldn’t make you question your worth, someone who wouldn’t break your heart over and over again.
.
Gojo remained on his knees long after you had walked away, the chill of the night air seeping into his bones. He stared at the spot where you had stood just moments ago, as if by sheer force of will he could bring you back. But the empty space before him was a harsh reminder that you were gone, that he had lost you once again.
A dull ache settled in his chest, spreading through his entire body as he tried to process what had just happened. He had begged, pleaded, laid his heart bare before you, and yet it hadn’t been enough. You had looked at him with such pain in your eyes, a pain he knew he had caused, and that knowledge cut deeper than any rejection.
He slowly rose to his feet, his legs unsteady beneath him as he tried to regain his composure. The night felt colder now, the darkness more oppressive as he realized how truly alone he was. He had gambled everything on the hope that you might still care, that you might still see the man he was trying to become, but the truth was undeniable—you were done with him. And maybe you were right to be.
As he started walking, his mind replayed every word you had said, every look you had given him. Your voice, so full of hurt and doubt, echoed in his ears, a constant reminder of the mistakes he had made. He had taken you for granted, convinced himself that you would always be there, waiting for him to get his act together. But now, standing in the aftermath of his own selfishness, he realized just how badly he had miscalculated.
Gojo’s footsteps were heavy as he walked back to his own place, the streets eerily quiet. For the first time, he felt the full weight of his actions, the depth of the hurt he had caused not only to you but to himself. He had ruined something beautiful, something that might never be repaired, and the regret was almost too much to bear.
He reached his apartment and fumbled with his keys, his hands shaking slightly as he unlocked the door. The silence inside was deafening, the emptiness of the space mirroring the emptiness he felt within. He collapsed onto the couch, burying his face in his hands as the reality of the situation washed over him.
He had wanted so desperately to make things right, to prove to you that he had changed, but deep down, he knew it wasn’t that simple. Change wasn’t just about saying the right words or making promises—it was about action, about becoming a better person, and that was something he hadn’t truly grasped until now. He had hurt you, deeply, and no amount of pleading could erase that.
The truth settled heavily on his shoulders: he had lost you, maybe for good this time. And the worst part was, he had no one to blame but himself. He had played with your heart, made you question your worth, and now he was paying the price. The realization that he might never have another chance with you, that you might move on and find someone who would treat you the way you deserved, was almost too painful to bear.
But as he sat there in the darkness, Gojo knew that this was his moment of reckoning. He could no longer hide from the consequences of his actions. If he truly wanted to change, it had to start now—with or without you. He had to learn to be a better person, not just for you, but for himself. And if that meant letting you go, if that meant accepting that you might never forgive him, then so be it.
.
Weeks had passed since that night, but for Gojo, it felt like a lifetime. The days blurred together, a monotonous cycle of work, training, and sleepless nights. He threw himself into his duties, trying to drown out the memories of you, but nothing seemed to work. Every quiet moment was filled with thoughts of you—your laughter, your smile, the way your eyes had softened when you looked at him, before everything had fallen apart.
He hadn’t tried to contact you since that night. He knew better than to push, to force himself back into your life when you had made it clear that you needed space. Instead, he focused on himself, trying to understand where he had gone wrong, trying to become the man he had promised he would be. But no matter how much he tried to move forward, the emptiness where you used to be haunted him.
One chilly afternoon, Gojo found himself wandering aimlessly through the city streets, his hands shoved deep into his pockets as he watched the world go by. It was one of those rare days when he had no obligations, no missions or responsibilities to distract him from his thoughts. The city was bustling with life, people rushing past him with purpose, but he felt disconnected from it all, as if he were watching from a distance.
As he walked, he turned a corner and stopped in his tracks. There you were, just a few steps ahead, standing at the entrance of a cozy little café. For a moment, his heart leapt at the sight of you, his mind racing with the possibility of speaking to you, of seeing how you were doing after all this time. But before he could take a step, he noticed that you weren’t alone.
Standing beside you was a man—tall, with dark hair and a warm smile that reached his eyes. He was holding your hand, his thumb gently brushing over your knuckles as you both laughed at something he had said. The sound of your laughter, so light and carefree, pierced through Gojo’s chest like a dagger. It was the same laugh he had fallen in love with, the one he had thought he might never hear again.
Gojo’s breath caught in his throat as he watched the two of you. There was an ease between you and the man, a comfort that spoke of familiarity, of something more than just a passing connection. The man leaned in closer, and you responded with a soft smile, one that Gojo knew all too well. It was the kind of smile that came from genuine happiness, from feeling safe and cherished.
He felt his heart constrict, a mix of emotions swirling inside him—regret, jealousy, sadness. But most of all, there was a deep, aching sense of loss. He had known this day might come, that you would eventually move on and find someone who could give you the love and security you deserved. But knowing it and seeing it were two different things, and the reality of it hit him harder than he had expected.
Gojo stood there, rooted to the spot, unable to tear his eyes away from you. He knew he should leave, walk away before you noticed him, but something kept him there, some part of him that needed to see this, to accept that you were no longer his.
As you and the man turned to enter the café, Gojo’s eyes met yours for the briefest of moments. Time seemed to freeze as recognition flickered in your gaze. There was a flash of surprise, quickly followed by something else—something softer, perhaps understanding or even sympathy. But you didn’t stop, didn’t call out to him. You simply gave him a small, polite nod before turning away,
As the door of the café closed behind you, Gojo hesitated for a moment, debating whether to follow you inside. He knew he should just walk away, let you enjoy your time with the man who clearly made you happy. But something stronger than reason pushed him forward. The unresolved tension between you gnawed at him, a silent torment that demanded closure.
With a deep breath, Gojo pushed open the door to the café, the small bell above it chiming softly as he stepped inside. The warm scent of coffee and baked goods filled the air, and the soft hum of conversation surrounded him. He quickly scanned the room, spotting you at a table near the window, the man still by your side.
You noticed him immediately, your eyes widening slightly in surprise as he approached. The man beside you looked up, clearly sensing the change in your demeanor, but remained silent, his expression polite but questioning.
Gojo stopped a few feet from your table, his hands clenching and unclenching at his sides as he struggled to find the right words. He felt the weight of the moment pressing down on him, the significance of what he was about to say looming large in his mind.
"Can we talk for a minute?" he asked, his voice low and tentative, trying not to intrude too much on your moment with the other man.
You hesitated, glancing at the man beside you. He gave you a small, understanding nod, standing up to give you space. "I'll be right over there," he said softly, before stepping away to another part of the café.
Once he was out of earshot, you turned your attention back to Gojo, your expression guarded but not unkind. "Gojo, what do you want?" you asked quietly, your tone not accusatory but rather cautious, as if you were bracing yourself for whatever he might say.
He took a deep breath, struggling to meet your eyes. "I just... I just wanted to say I'm sorry. For everything. For the way I treated you, for the way I made you feel. I know I can’t undo the past, but I need you to know that I regret it all, deeply."
You looked at him, your expression softening slightly at his words, but there was still a distance in your gaze, a wall that hadn’t been there before. "Gojo," you began, your voice gentle but firm, "I appreciate you saying that. I really do. But what’s done is done. We can’t go back and change what happened. We both know that."
He nodded, swallowing hard against the lump forming in his throat. "I know," he said, his voice cracking slightly. "I just… I wish things could have been different. That I could’ve been better for you."
A small, sad smile tugged at the corners of your lips. "Maybe in another life," you said softly, your words like a bittersweet melody that hung in the air between you. "Maybe in another life, we were meant to be. But in this one…"
You trailed off, your eyes shimmering with unshed tears. The unspoken truth between you was palpable—no matter how much either of you wished it could be different, the damage had been done. The love you once shared was irreparably broken, and no amount of apologies could fix it.
Gojo felt a sharp pain in his chest, the finality of your words cutting through him like a blade. He had known, deep down, that this was how it would end, but hearing it from you made it all the more real.
"I understand," he murmured, his voice barely audible as he looked down at the floor. "I just… I hope you find the happiness you deserve."
You reached out then, gently touching his arm, the gesture both comforting and heartbreaking. "I hope you do too, Gojo," you whispered, your voice filled with a kind of tenderness that he hadn’t heard from you in a long time. "Take care of yourself."
He looked up at you, his eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and acceptance. He knew this was goodbye—not just for now, but for the life you might have had together. It was the kind of parting that left an indelible mark on his soul, a reminder of what could have been.
With a heavy heart, Gojo nodded, turning to leave the café. As he walked away, he didn’t look back, knowing that doing so would only make it harder to let go. The door closed behind him, the cool air outside hitting him like a wake-up call. He stood there for a moment, trying to steady his breathing, trying to process the finality of what had just happened.
Inside, you watched him leave, your heart heavy but resolute. There was a part of you that would always care for Gojo, that would always wonder what might have been. But you knew, deep down, that you had made the right choice. Sometimes, love wasn’t enough to bridge the gap that had grown between two people. Sometimes, the kindest thing you could do was let go.
As you turned back to your table, the man who had been with you returned, concern etched on his face. He didn’t ask what had happened—he didn’t need to. He simply took your hand in his, offering silent support as you both sat down together.
Gojo walked down the street, the sun beginning to set, casting long shadows on the pavement. The ache in his chest was still there, but so was a strange sense of peace. You had found your path, and now, he had to find his own. And maybe, just maybe, in another life, things would have been different. But in this one, it was time to move on.
End

nsfw! age-gap! cheating! daddy-issues (kinda)! clo being absolutely insane over johnny again! why is this so long? why am i so crazy?
good morning i'm currently thinkin' about stayin' at johnny's house because betty is away n'someone has gotta help him watch the girls.
you've been the davis' babysitter since you were in high school - the girls were just babies, then - but now some years have passed n'since you've been here ya can't help but notice how attractive johnny is :( he's so sweet on ya, too. placin' his hand on the small of your back as he passes you in the kitchen while you're makin' the girls' lunches :( tellin' ya your hair looks pretty when you've got it pinned up like that :( he even makes ya dinner even though that's supposed to be your job, but "y've been workin' so hard, peach. know the girls are a lot. s'let me take care of ya." and oh he's so lovely. he listens to music while he cooks and wears an apron the girls got 'em for fathers day and he helps you with the dishes afterward and you are in love with him.
you've never felt like this before. your heart hammers whenever he returns from a long day of truckin' n'his sleepy eyes brighten at the sight of you standin' in the foyer with a beer and a smile. he's so thankful for you, he says. y'make life so much easier, he confesses. and ugh :( what are you to do about this? i mean, these feelings so new n'unfamilar and the only thing you've found that somewhat tames them is when ya stick your pillow between your legs in the quiet of the night n'imagine it's johnny :'( your favorite thing to think about is when ya caught him slippin' out of the bathroom with a pink fluffy towel 'round his waist. you'd never seen a man in so little before, my god, your heart nearly lept from your chest. your cheeks flushed and he apologized and you told him it was fine because it was then slipped into your room to ride your pillow until you couldn't breathe :'( johnny was so pretty n'yeah, you figured men his age didn't like to be called that, but it was god's truth. his chorded muscles dusted with hair and tattoos and scars made want drip down your thighs because boys your age simply didn't look like that :( they didn't smell the way he did; a delicious blend of smoke and spice and cedar. boys your age didn't care, but johnny did :( johnny lit a fire one night once the girls were in bed n'he toasted your marshmallows and asked about your interest n'what you wanted to be when you were older and you wanted to tell him that you would love to be his wife - but you couldn't obviously, so you told 'em about the classes you had taken back in high school. how there was this program and you talked and talked but he never seemed bored. didn't shoot you down the way your father had. johnny placed his big ole hand on your bare knee n'smiled while he told ya "ya can do anythin' ya set your mind to, doll. don't let nothin' stop you. i believe in ya. know you're gonna do so so good." his wedding ring - a cold metal band - bit into your skin almost like a reminder that johnny wasn't yours... but you could do anything, right?
"momma's comin' home tomorrow." johnny told the girls the next mornin' and you were sure your heart shattered all over the floor. the girls were happy, of course, but you couldn't even fake a smile. it had been so easy to play house with betty gone. so easy to fool your mind into believin' that this was your house, those were your dresses in the closet, those were your girls racin' off to the bus, n'that johnny was your husband. but no :( none of it was true n'soon you'd be back at your parents' house - back in the real world - n'it was just so unfair :( johnny seemed to sense that something was wrong. before he left, he placed a soft hand on your shoulder n'made you turn to face him, but you shook your head n'swore you only had a headache. he didn't believe you, the frown on his face made that apparent, but he didn't fight you. he just pinched the round of your cheek softly, told ya to have a good day, n'left.
is it strange that despite your sadness you still have to ride your pillow over the thought of what didn't happen? probably. as you whine and pant and writhe, you envision what would've happened if johnny would've cupped your cheek n'pressed his lips against yours :( you would have licked into his mouth :( would've let his saliva coat your tongue n'drip down your chin and he would have placed his hand 'round your throat to pull you closer :( he would tell you how pretty you are. how you just know him like no one else does n'he's a lucky old man that a girl like you wants 'em. you cum over and over and over to the thought of him takin' you on the counter, but it doesn't satiate the ache between your thighs. you're so frustrated and overstimulated and upset, but you've got a plan.
it takes a while n'when you finally creep into johnny's room the wall clock reads 2:45 am. it isn't the best idea you've ever had, but it makes so much sense in your lust-addled mind. johnny said he'd take care of ya, right? said he'd always be there if ya needed anything, right? well, you need help because "johnny? johnny? it hurts." :( n'he's an old man, y'know, so it takes 'em a minute to wake up. he's gotta grab his glasses n'slide 'em on, but then he sees you in your silk nightie and jesus christ.
"what's goin' on, sweets?" you've got tears in your eyes and your lips are bitten bright red and you look so pretty in the shaft of moonlight that spills through the window and onto johnny's bedding. you don't answer right away, just nuzzle your way onto his lap and brush your nose into his neck. he can hear the scrape of your soft skin on his prickly stubble and you sigh like it's everything you've ever needed. "tell johnny what's got ya so upset. c'mon." he wants you to look at him, but he wouldn't be able to pry ya off with a goddamn crowbar. you're latched onto him, snuffling into his bare shoulder all sad and defeated. poor baby.
"hurts." you repeat, sniffling. "hurts so bad."
"what hurts?"
the clock ticks and you hiccup and your fingers wrap around johnny's wrist n'tug it over where it lands on your knee, first, then you're pullin' him up up up and he should stop you because he knows where this is going, but fuck he can't. sure enough, you stop 'em right when his hand covers your cunt. it's warm. he can feel the warmth radiating through your thin little panties and his fingers twitch with the urge to touch, but no. that's not okay. he figures he hasn't taken a breath in a minute, so he releases a sigh that shudders n'he squeezes his eyes shut tight.
"peach, i-"
"jus' need to cum, please johnny." you take his face in your palms the way you so badly wanted him to do to you n'his hand still lays protectively over your clothed center and god you just want to kiss him. "please. i'll be good, so good. promise." when his eyes open he's blinking at you, pupils pulsing back and forth between your own, but then they flicked down to your lips n'you know you've got 'em. and maybe he was right. maybe you can do anything. "jus' hurts."
"yeah?" johnny turns his cheek, kissin' your palm and you fuckin' gasp because you didn't think it would be this easy and maybe he is in love with you. "why don't i take a look? wanna lay back for me?"
his scent tangles around you as you lay yourself back against the pillows, blinkin' down at him so wide-eyed and mesmerized. he's smiling at you :( thinks the heave of your chest is so cute n'you're just such a precious baby who needs his help :( that's all he's doin'. just helpin'.
"open up, c'mon." he says, patting your thigh n'your knees part at his words, revealing the wet center of your panties and johnny coos.
"y've been touchin' yourself? yeah? s'that what's got ya all wet?" you can't respond. you just throw your head back at the feel of his fingers tracing patterns along the slick, but johnny likes good girls, so he ceases his ministrations, and glances up at you expectantly. "tell daddy, c'mon."
"i-i have - have been touchin' myself," you breathe, suddenly bashful. johnny just hums, hooking his index finger 'round your panties to move 'em over and he can tell.
"mm." he probes an exploratory finger against your folds and you really think it's goin' somewhere until he situates your panties back in place, then rocks back onto the balls of his feet. "show me."
you positively balk in response, shaking your head quickly because that's embarrassing. no way. there is no way -
"wan' my help, yeah? gotta show me what you're doin' so i know how to fix it."
and - well, he's gotta point, you guess. so you let out a pitiful little huff, rolling onto your tummy, shovin' johnny's pillow between your thighs :( and oh he is mesmerized and fucked and so hard it's almost comical how his dick sticks up in his briefs. he watches you so intently: the way your nightie rides up your back revealing the cutest little dimples at your spine, the roll of your hips, the tightening of your fists against the sheets. you make these sounds, sounds that he's only ever heard when he had his ear pressed to your door and they are so beautiful. so this is what you were doing all those times? grinding your clit against the cotton pillowcases his wife picked out?
"i know what the problem is, baby." johnny says, placin' his large hand on your back to still you. your head luls, tear-soaked lashes fluttering at 'em. "y'need somethin' inside. think that's gonna help so much." he maneuvers you so delicately - like he's afraid you're gonna break. "get on top of me, peach. daddy'll show you how to do it right, kay? y'trust me? yeah?"
you do. you trust him. you love him. you're so in love with him.
"gimmie some sugar first. let me kiss ya." the kiss is a distraction because what comes next is gonna hurt because surely you've never had fingers any bigger than your own in ya, right? but johnny is easy with ya :( eases ya open and praises you for bein' so good :( then it's time. he's hoverin' over ya - mouthin' at your neck because you smell so good there - n'his cock nudges between your lips in a dull stretch.
"daddy's gonna show ya."
and he does.

Hii!! I had an idea for soft!eddie x reader… I hope you like it!
So what about soft!eddie x reader that watch a horror movie before bed because Eddie wanted to and reader said yes… but then reader wakes up from a nightmare and gets a little bit paranoid? Like she wants to go get a glass of water, but she’s so scared that she’ll see a creepy face appear out of no where? Or she doesn’t want to look at the windows and that kind of stuff? (When I wake up in the middle of the night, I get so paranoid/scared, I wish Eddie was there 😭) and she finally gets up to get a glass of water and then (in between all of that Eddie woke up) Eddie says something like ‘why are you awake at 2am’ and she has a jump scare, and drops her glass, and basically the adrenaline kicks in and she starts to cry because it’s too much and she was so scared? And Eddie just hugs her and comforts her and he helps her falls back asleep?
I hope all of that made sense… if not… I’m so sorry😭😭
I’m sending lots of love!! Have a good day/night!! 💗💗🫶
- ☀️
Thanks for requesting lovely <3
Eddie Munson x fem!reader ♡ 750 words
It’s a while before you can convince yourself to set one foot on the floor, but the inside of your mouth feels like it’s made of wool and something needs to be done about this. When no clawed hand reaches out to yank you underneath the bed, you take it as a sign of good faith.
Your footsteps are featherlight and cautious, every dark corner and unshuttered window a threat. An empty threat, you remind yourself, but even the voice in your head is shaky.
The Munsons don’t have glasses, but they do have an array of things picked up from here and there, plastic cups from restaurants and old containers and one plain mug for Wayne’s coffee. You grab a cleaned-out jam jar from the top shelf, filling it with cold water from the tap. It does the trick, sweet and refreshing on your tongue. You feel instantly better.
You pad back towards Eddie’s room with a clearer head. It was just a movie. There’s no creeping shadows here, no cloud so thick it blots out the moon. There’s fluorescent light from the street coming in through Eddie’s windows, and families sleeping in the trailers on either side of you. Nothing bad could happen to you here.
You slow as you get to Eddie’s room, trying to be quiet.
“Hey.”
Your gasp is so sharp it hurts a little in your chest. Your body stiffens, the condensation on the glass making it slip from your hand. It shatters on the floor.
“Shit, what the hell?”
You turn, and it’s Eddie—of course it’s Eddie, who else would it be?—standing behind you in the dark hallway, a pillow crease imprinted on his cheek.
“Oh my god.” Your voice comes out breathless, and you press your hands over your eyes.
“Babe, what—shit, are you crying? Are you hurt?” You shake your head, and Eddie’s hands come around your arms, pulling you towards him. “Careful, don’t step on the glass. I scared you, huh?”
You nod as he folds you into his chest, scrubbing up and down between your shoulder blades.
“Yeah? Well fuck, don’t to cry about that,” he says, panic melding back into sleepiness as his voice takes on a fond bent. “I wouldn’t’a hurt ya.”
“I thought you were the ghost,” you mumble sheepishly into his chest.
Eddie pauses for a moment. Your face feels ten degrees hotter.
“Me?” He sounds like he’s smiling. Then he lets go of you, taking your face between his hands, and you know he is. It’s giant and goofy, its own sort of light to combat the dark corners. “Shit, sweetheart, I’m flattered. But no dice.” Eddie shrugs like this is something he can’t help. “All flesh and blood in here, baby. The gross stuff.”
“Yeah,” you say quietly, embarrassed. Those couple of quick tears have already mostly dried, but Eddie swipes at them with his thumbs anyway, grinning like you’re silly. “I’m sorry I broke your glass.”
“It happens all the time,” he reassures you. “Don’t sweat it, I’ll clean it up in the morning.” He takes a big step over the glass shards, offering you a hand to help you do the same. Doesn’t let go of it even when you’re on the other side. “Should I be worried that you’re up at 2 in the morning looking for ghosts?”
“I was getting water,” you mumble, letting him sit you down on the edge of the bed. Eddie gives you a look. “I also don’t really do well with scary movies.”
“Yeah. I figured that one out when you wouldn’t go to sleep until I closed the blinds.” He grins. You smile back bashfully, and he makes a dramatic groaning sound, hauling you into a hug. “You should’a told me you didn’t want to watch it. I wouldn’t have picked it if I’d known you’d get all freaked.”
“I didn’t want to be a wuss,” you say. You can practically feel Eddie rolling his eyes over the top of your head.
“You can’t fight your true nature, babe. But it’s cool.” He flops the both of you over so you’re laying down between him and the wall. “This way, anything that wants to get you will have to go through me.”
You turn in his arms, pouting. “I don’t want anything to have to go through you.”
“Then let's go back to there are no ghosts, ‘kay?” He plants a kiss between your brows, snuggling you close. “Sleep tight, scaredy cat.”

✱ visiting the cat café with JJK men (pt. 1/?)
a/n: first time writing for JJK aaaa. i should have done this a whole lot sooner! happy to be taking those fine gentlemen out for a date at the cat café hehe. and with the current events in both manga & anime i think it's fair to say we deserve to have a bit of a slice of life delulul moment, right... (πーπ)
Tumblr media
❦ 𝐆𝐎𝐉𝐎
“did you roll around in catnip before we got here or…”
Gojo only grins at you before he starts a monologue, something about his natural musk that makes him irresistible to little meow meows, explaining how cats are attracted to cursed energy and how he has a limitless amount of it, yada yada yada…
you aren’t listening anymore, only feeling slightly jealous of how he’s swarmed by cats without any effort, like he didn’t have to go through the whole humbling process of getting to the floor and mumbling pspsps until your mouth is dry only for the cats to ignore you
every single cat in the café is practically begging for his attention and honestly, can you blame them
the cats are in heaven. Gojo is in heaven. the staff is in heaven.
a chonky white Persian cat is extra persistent and secures a spot on Gojo’s shoulder, chewing on his hair and that’s when you know you will be leaving this café either without your boyfriend or with a new cat
in the end Gojo simply ends up buying the cat café (oh to be stupid rich) and treats it as his own personal oasis from there on and you can’t even be mad because you get to see his beautiful bright smile whenever you head there together
❦ 𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐈
at first, Nanami isn’t too eager when you suggest going to a cat café
the thought of cat hair all over his sandwich doesn’t please him, but he can never resist your pleading eyes and from the reviews he read the food there is supposed to be excellent, so he reluctantly agrees
skeptical at first, he sits down with you, trying to study the menu when an extra curious cat jumps on the table, bumping their tiny head against his chin which makes Nanami frown
“aww, someone likes you”, you croon and try not to laugh at Nanami, hesitantly petting the cat in front of him which starts purring loudly
which attracts even more cats
suddenly you’re swarmed with them and Nanami is doing his very best to give each of them a fair share of his love, even loosening his tie a bit and sleeves rolled up
forget about the food, he’s on a mission now
Nanami will lie awake at night, wondering if owning a cat could fix at least a dozen of his problems (they’re all Gojo related)
❦ 𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐔𝐍𝐀
majestic Sukuna, King of Curses, allergic to cat hair
oh, he’s trying. he’s fighting for his life, sitting on the floor and trying to pspsps the cats with four hands at once
but his sneezes are so earth shattering loud that it spooks the kitties and they gather everywhere but in his lap
except for that one deaf and blind cat that’s always drooling a little which happily lets Sukuna pick them up
the King of Curses will look at you triumphantly, like see, I’ve made this peasant cat obey me, but his eyes are tearing too much to even make out the silhouette of you
good for you because it gives you enough time to snap a good hundred photos of him cuddling with the cat, too stubborn to admit that they might be killing him softly
back home (and after stopping by a pharmacy for allergy pills) you’ll see a dozen tabs open in his browser (you taught him how to google), searching for “anti allergy cats”, “if i shave my cat will i stop sneezing”, “cat hair allergy why” and “why cats won’t obey me”
❦ 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐀
local tired lawyer man needs a fucking break
you know how prone your man is to overworking himself, so you make it your own little mission to take him out on small dates during his lunch break
he doesn’t even bat an eye when you suggest a cat café. maybe if he’s surrounded by cats he won’t have to think about the injustice of the whole world, so sure, he’s in
Higuruma feels a sense of calm wash over him the moment he sits down and a kitty rubs their head against his legs, ready to activate their cursed purring technique on him
of course he remembers your favorite drink and orders it for you, something sweet to go along with it as well, and then he’s completely absorbed by the various cats in the café
he’ll point out every kitty that catches his attention and takes lots of photos of them and from you (and he’ll make it his new lockscreen)
kisses you goodbye once you drop him off at the office again and will text you later that he had the most fun in a long time
will also send you the most candid photos he took of you and will smile to himself when you make one your new profile photo, already excited to go back to the cat café with you

Flyers - Jamie Drysdale
Tumblr media
I love him so much and I wish him all the success in the world
I’m also trying not to hate cutter gauthier
I hope you enjoy, I like this one
Request and talk to me, pls and thx
It’s late in the evening when the shrill ring of your phone cuts through the silence of your bedroom. You glance at the screen and see your boyfriend calling. It’s not a FaceTime, and it’s always a FaceTime, so you’re confused, and your heart skips a beat as you answer him.
“Hello?”
It’s silent on the other end, but you can hear him lightly breathing and shuffling around.
“Jame?”
Before he even utters a word, you feel a subtle shift in the atmosphere. There is a reason he didn’t FaceTime, and there is a reason his usual warmth and cheer is replaced by a heavy silence. As the seconds tick by, you can sense his hesitation, and an unsettling sense unfolds in your stomach.
You hear him take a shaky inhale, hold it for a second, and then he breathes out.
“They traded me.”
His voice is raw, and it trembles with unusual vulnerability. In a single second, your heart shatters into a million pieces. Before you can even fully comprehend what he said, tears are pooling in your eyes, and your hand is clasping at your mouth.
“They what?” You ask.
“They just told me. I’m going to the flyers. They want me there tomorrow.”
Finally, the news settles in. Your boyfriend was traded. Jamie was fucking traded.
A million thoughts rush through your head. Jamie has to move. He has to leave Trevor. He has to pack up his entire life in a single night and fly across the country.
Silent tears are streaming down your face, and you realize you’ve stayed quiet for way too long. You also know you need to get a fucking grip. This isn’t about you, and you need to get your shit together because he needs you right now.
So, you take a deep breath and calm the fuck down.
“Are you okay?”
You hear him shuffling around again, probably packing up all his things. He doesn’t say anything for a minute, and you patiently wait until he’s ready.
“I don’t know. It hasn’t really set in yet. Doesn’t feel real.”
A sharp pain thumps through your chest at his words. He continues.
“I’m trying not to feel anything, honestly. I’m trying not to think about everything I have here.” His voice breaks. “But it’s been my home, and I don’t want to leave.”
You finally hear him break, and you would pay any sum of money to be able to teleport to him now. It wrecks you that you can’t be there to hold him during this time. You can’t begin to imagine what he’s feeling. You know he’s thinking about everything that Anaheim has given him. You know he’s
recounting the countless memories made on and off the ice, the shared victories and losses, and the deep bonds formed with teammates.
“Jamie.” You start, then stop.
“Yeah?” He asks softly.
“This absolutely sucks, and I’m so so sorry.” You pause. “The ducks are the biggest idiots in the world, and they don’t deserve you.“
Jamie's breath catches on the other end; it’s a mixture of a chuckle and a sob escaping him. You smile a bit because your words seem to reach through the distance, a small lifeline in the whirlwind of emotions he’s currently facing. He takes a moment before responding.
“Thanks, babe. It means a lot to hear that right now.” He sighs again. “I just never expected this, you know? Everything’s changing so fast. I love it here, and it kills me that I won't be part of it anymore.”
You nod, even though he can't see it. It’s as if the very fabric of his life is unraveling, and you wish you could weave it back together. But all you can do is sit here and listen to him and try your best to be his anchor in the storm of uncertainty.
“I wish I were there with you, help you pack, give you a hug,” you say miserably.
“Me too. he admits, another sad sigh escaping him.
You sit there again for a couple of minutes, listening to him pack and offering your presence. You finally hear him close to the phone again, and he breaks the silence.
“I'm scared (Y/N). It’s a whole new team. I don't want to let anyone down, especially you,” he confesses.
You want to punch him. He knows better. Not once, ever, has Jamie let you down, and you sure as hell know that he never will.
“That's enough of that, Jame, you could never let me down. Nerves are normal, but I also know the player you are. You’ve got this, and I’ve got your back. Always.”
He lets out a quiet okay and quickly hangs up the phone. You’re confused for a brief moment before his FaceTime pops up. You answer in a heartbeat, and a wide smile takes over your features as you finally get to look at your boyfriend.
He looks tired, and his eyes are a bit red, but he has a soft smile, and you know that everything is going to be okay.
For the next couple of minutes, you talk it out. You discuss the logistics, the challenges that lie ahead, and the uncertainty of the future. You do your best to hype him up, and as the logistics conversation draws to a close, a somber calm settles over the two of you. You can finally sense a shift in his tone, a quiet acceptance mingled with some determination.
“We are gonna figure this out, won't we?” Jamie asks a trace of hope in his voice.
“Yes. Besides, I like the flyers. Way better than those losers in Anaheim,” you assure him.
Jamie chuckles a bit, and then a hilarious thought crosses your mind.
“Oh my god.” Panic laces your voice, and Jamie furrows his eyebrows.
“What?”
You start laughing, suddenly very happy.
“You’re gonna be with Gritty!”
You can’t help but roll over with laughter, knowing your shy-as-hell boyfriend is going to be on the team with the most infamous and chaotic mascot ever. You can’t even begin to explain how giddy this makes you, and Jamie lets out a small groan but begins laughing with you anyway.
After you settle down, wiping the new happy tears away, you smile a wide smile at him again.
“You know, I’m still on break. Maybe I should come down and be there for your first game?”
Just like that, your boyfriend is back, and the smile you’re so in love with takes over his features.
“Really?”
“Absolutely. I can think of no better way to end my break than being with you.“ You beam at him. “Besides, I have to scope out the team. Let em know that they have a new hotshot player who has the hottest girlfriend ever.
He barks out another laugh at you, but you know he agrees one hundred percent with your statement.
“God, I love you,” he says, the words carrying the weight of the world.
“I love you too,” you respond, “This is honestly exciting, Jame. You have great things coming. I can feel it.”

Yandere!Hannibal and Yandere! Will Graham, who are obsessed with the survivor of a serial killer, who has resurfaced again. So the reader needs to go into some kind off protection and now stays at Hannibal‘s with Will visiting regularly and Hannibal comforting her?
Yandere!Hannibal & Will Graham x gn!reader
synopsis above
Notes: Okay okay okay... as someone who used to read A LOT of yandere fics, i'm flattered to be writing one for such a thirsty fandom. But, I must admit, this is my first time actually writing one. So bear with me please. Also, YAY!! A WILL GRAHAM REQUEST!!! (I'm a stereotypical will graham lover boy) I do love writing edgy insane will graham :3
Author notes: Mentions the "ghost face" killer... sorry y'all at the end of the day im not original and scream 1 holds a dear dear place in my heart. Will is sort of creepy in this. Reader is broken but trying to heal, will and hannibal ruin that. Reader sort of takes Margot Verger's place in a way? Reader is a bit shallow and emotional, sorry chat.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The nightmare started two years ago. The ghostface murders happened every year or so; ever since that massacre in Woodsburrow when it all began. They popped up all over America. It wasn't a shock when a new copycat showed up in Maryland, Baltimore. A shame...sure. A shock? Not as much.
You weren't very worried. You lived a relatively boring life, a safe life. You were not final girl material. Well, that's what you had thought before someone in a ghostface mask stabbed you on the walk home from work.
You remember how exhausting the press was when you woke up alive, how nauseating the treatments were, how tedious the whole stay was. It was all boring and you were scared. Your face was all over newspapers, magazines, blogs, what if he came back to finish the job? The fear was too much, you fell into a deep pit of self pity and anxiety... One particular article though.. tattle crime. It pushed you over the edge.
People around you could sense the distress, you were referred to a psychiatrist upon your release. A Doctor Hannibal Lecter.
The first session had gone well, in your opinion. Of course, you hadn't been the most open of patients, but he was so patient with you, he was so understanding. You couldn't see how fond of you he actually was.
The first time you had walked into his office, he was amused. You had been the talk of the news, lately, and here you were now. Sitting in his office. You were interesting. A normal person, someone who had never really been bothered by much.. now utterly shattered. A beautiful vase put to waste, he would be the gentle hand to put you back together.
You met Will Graham almost a year later.
Your appointments were always right before Will Graham's. Of course, you didn't know that, but he did.
You had just finished up a session with Dr.Lecter, gently closing his door behind you, you were met with a shorter man looking intently at you. He had dark curls and his glasses were clinging to the edge of his nose. You stared back at him for a moment. He wasn't making direct eye contact, but he was looking.
"Excuse me...can I help you?" you murmured, a bit freaked out. He shook his head, snapping himself out of it.
"I'm sorry- are you Y/N L/N?" He asked, he had a nice accent that you couldn't place. You sighed, crossing your arms.
"Yes, what of it?" your annoyed tone made him look away from you.
"Nothing-I'm sorry- I just went over your case in my lecture this week,"
"Lecture?"
"Yes, I'm a professor."
"Oh.. what class, if I'm allowed to ask?" He smiled, shaking his head a bit,
"You can ask. A criminal analysis class." you nodded.
"That's very interesting Mister..."
"Will Graham."
You two began seeing each other a lot more while switching roles in Lecter's chair. Friendly smiles, waves, anxious nods.. and then Hannibal started to get into Will's head. His intentions turned to the computer. Researching about you. He reassured himself, he was just doing his job. Researching victims. Until he brought you up in a session.
"What seems to be on your mind Will?" Hannibal asked patiently.
"One of your patients." This caught his attention,
"Which one of my patients would this be?"
"Y/N L/N." Will leaned back in his chair, spreading his legs out. Hannibal straightened up.
"Y/N, I see." His voice was a bit firmer now. He had grown protective over you. Possessive. "what of them?"
So Will began talking about his newfound obsession with you. This pleased Hannibal just a bit, the idea that they both could have you.
So, with Hannibal's nonverbal permission, Will started to get more involved in your life as you both slowly started to succumb to Hannibal's manipulation.
Everything was going swimmingly. That was until you got a notification on your phone during work today.
"Ghostface killer resurfaces after two years!"
With trembling hands, you clock out and immediately go to your car. You sit in your locked car, shaking. As soon as you read the article, you turn off your phone, putting it in the console. You start driving.
You knock on the lavish door, your skin pale and your body shaking. You're so cold. You begin pounding on the door..faster.. why can't he just come out faster?
The door swings open, you almost hit the taller man in the chest. He was wearing a vest and a white button up shirt, dress pants. He had just gotten off work. His eyes held annoyance, but when he saw your rather fragile state, his face grew concerned. He ushers you inside, his firm arms around your shoulders, leaning your shaky form to a sofa. Sitting you down and making you explain to him what's wrong.
"He- he's back Hanni. He's gonna come back after me-" you manage to cry out, his hands softly going through your hair.
"My dear, you're okay.." His phone rings, which makes you jump. He glares at it before seeing it is Will. He answers it, a very frantic voice picks up.
"Hannibal- I can't get ahold of Y/N-"
"Will." he all but chided. "Our love is here, calm down."
"I'm coming over." he stated before hanging up. He sounded frustrated, which just scared you even more.
A few minutes later, a disgruntled Will walks in, immediately coming up to the sofa which housed you clinging to Hannibal for dear life.
"Y/N- I tried to call you- I was so worried." Once he saw your expression, he toned it down as he sat next to you. "Pup..it's alright, we're here."
Both men frowned when you shook your head. "No! He's back for me- he's gonna get me."
Hannibal responded with a 'tsk' sound, still playing with your hair. "My love, he will do no such thing." Will hummed in agreement, rubbing a hand over your back. "You'll stay here with Will and I, we'll keep you safe and sound."
Will was pleased when you caved into the demand, he honestly thought you would've denied it quicker. Both men dotted over you before pushing you to get some sleep. Sandwiching you in between them. Will waited til he could hear your soft snores before looking at Hannibal with a bit of a glare.
"I told you it wasn't a good idea." Hannibal looked at him with a false innocence.
"What wasn't a good idea, Will?"
"Poking the killer. Getting him to want to come back."
"It will all work out..we just had to..scare them into submission. You see? Hasn't it worked."
Will sighed a bit, "Yes..I still don't like it very much though.."
"Nothing will happen to either of you, Will. I wouldn't allow it."
Will did stop talking, not wanting to wake you. Besides, he knew Hannibal had a point. They did have you to themselves now.. and if everything went to plan.. you wouldn't be leaving.

Falalalala, Michael is Sold~ (Christmas Miracle Card Spoilers|Summary)
Tumblr media
Howdy there lovelies, sorry it took me fucking forever to drop this, I've been distracted with Amy and Sitri (which I still need to finish out the last parts of that lmao) But, alas here we go with seeing how things play out with this bratty, brother-complex angel being sold at an auction... To view the prologue parts for the card I already went over HERE YA GO <3
If you've already saw all of that, I'm jumping right in. Same format as Raphael's Summary. As a reminder since the angels are paid banner only per PB's warning I am only allowed to really just paraphrase and heavily summarize his card story instead of the usual reacts I do.
Enough of the boring yapfest let's go lol
First I would like to thank my friend for continuously sharing card content with me. I wouldn't be able to do these things without such blessing, ;w;
Second, I would like to let the public know Michael was my fave at first due to aesthetics only. The pretty black hair, the one wing on the side of his head, but goodness doesn't he have some demons in him. (I want this to be a joke and a literal thing because..)
Anyways
Tumblr media
We lead in with Michael being pissed off that he's having his body shown, and everyone is infauted with his skin describing it as porcelian white. So marks show up very easily.
I like the continued theme that every seraph does not show their body to anyone but God.
The bid was high, like 55 million. Makes sense Tarataros is rollin' in dough.
Tumblr media
Some important things to note for Michael's card is that unlike his brother Raphael, he made a lot of expressions each time he was touched.
Instead of cursing and vocally trying to say anything, his body is simply reacting as he's thinking about how he shouldn't be showing ANYONE this and that MC needed to be stopped.
We still have the elements of "non-consent" but it seems it's different with Michael. He's wordlessly threatening everyone's demise but he doesn't put up as much of a fight.
MC ofc is getting turned on by everything he's doing
The guests have started masturbating in their seats (imagine being that one person just wanting to be there for the auction and your neighbor just starts jackin' it/flicking the bean. lmao)
Oop. We're punching them in the stomach again. I think that's going to be a reoccurring thing for Gabriel too.
Tumblr media
This is interesting...Michael slumped forward? I don't even think Raphael did that. I wonder without his powers poor Mike is possibly the weakest? He seemed to be the most powerful aside from Lucifer.
Michael is and has been getting turned on by the way since MC started touching him. He doesn't understand, but I'm like...my guy you almost came when your brother plucked out your eye I know what you are....
Now I don't remember if Raphael was branded, but Michael is branded for the auction. His halo starts glowing around this time too. Again I know what you are.
Also, Michael is so pissed off and horny random objects are shattering and he's basically crying buckets. Also his emotions are affecting the weather too. Neat.
Tumblr media
Alright so now he's really upset. He doesn't want MC to touch his cock because it's only for God to see and touch. He was not doing much before but he's definitely putting up a fight now.
Even auctioneer was like "Uh head for the decks folks he may cave the walls in on us" and everyone was like "Nah, stfu" like damn ya'll really want that angel bussy.
So as common theme of sounding continues...as you guessed Michael gets a metal rod stuck in his pee hole and well he's losing his mind ya'll.
Tumblr media
I bet he would like being called a good boy by his favorite person...
Anyways, after all the poking and probing from MC it appears that he only needs the rod stroking the inside of his cock for him to get to his climax. Nothing anally is being done to him for his story.
So after he cums he basically leaves in a beam of light. The other devils came on him too. They say though that he left wordlessly he stared at MC as if he wanted to say something. Interesting.
Though that's over and done with, basically the end of the story are the devil's bidding on MC's tormenting as if that's something to bid on lmao but Mammon was like yah 10 billion and it's being donated for the end of the year party in MC's name. What's cute though is that MC is referred to as His/Her Majesty along with Mammon. It's like his citizens shipped them already.
ANDDDD that's all folks. That's Michael's Christmas Story. If you want my blunt opinion????
5/10
I'm sorry ya'll, this card story wasn't really worth the money for Michael fans. It falls short in terms of what's done to him, he kinda just sat there for the majority of it until his cock was touched, and he just kinda poofs back home without confirming any feelings whether negative or positive towards MC like how we see in Raphael's card.
However, I did like the elements of Michael being able to withstand being touched and stayed still for the most part. This has me believe something that I will explain in my theories below. Also in adore mode you can play with his tiny head wing, like pulling on it and such. Wings are sensitive I imagine so it's a fun element.
THEORY TIME
I want to say that I think Michael didn't put up much of a fight because to him any other part of his body being touched, though it hasn't been touched by anyone before...is not that big of a deal to him and perhaps he's had these feelings faintly but just didn't push himself to explore that any further.
Now also, we note that his chastity belt was not removed by MC. I feel that the reason this did not happen is because Michael has 0 feelings for MC and thus the miracle didn't extend to that possibility. Now to compare with Rara's card...maybe during the event he started feeling things for MC, curiosity, and some kind of need for them, in that moment perhaps he felt as if this is what God wanted for him so he gave in 110%.
Michael resisted feeling that way for MC, because he simply did not want those feelings. He just wanted to experience being in pleasure only. Because perhaps...those feelings are deep for "someone else" that keeps getting implied ._. But anyways. That's more for those who ship that to go about, I personally do not lol (brother complex is brother complex)
I also think that perhaps the relationship between MC and Rara is meant to build more than the other two seraph angels. I'll just have to see Gabe's card and see what we're working with. I do not have a prologue for him because he was in the Nightmare Pass only last time....I wonder how they will pan out his story and what differences I will notice.
As always thank you lovelies for tuning in ^^ see you in the next react <3

“Then why didn’t you say anything?”
“What should I say then? ‘Hi, I’m Obanai, the boy from the foster home who also didn’t manage to save your sister from the fire. How are you?’”
His words offended you. But before you could leave the room, a cold hand wrapped around yours, pulling you back inside his lonely classroom. You turned to look at him, and there, the nonchalant facade that Obanai always had shattered.
Frustrations and regret masked his face as he held your hand tighter, not letting you go. And without wasting a second...
"Y/N, I didn't know how to tell you," he confessed, his voice thick with emotion. "I thought it was best to leave the past buried."
But you couldn't suppress all the reminiscence that came flashing in her head—the smell of burnt wood, the shouts of the children as they cried because their teachers were left inside, your sight blurred by your tears, and the agony the bad news had brought to you.
"You're here now, unscathed. So why didn't you save my sister?"
Your voice trembled with the weight of the accusation, and your eyes were brimming with unshed tears. You were lost for words as you felt your knees weaken. But then Obanai sighed for the nth time as he let go of you. Immediately, you felt the cold air wash away the remnants of what his hand had held earlier.
"I tried but I can't."
"No. I guess you didn't try at all."
Anger flickered in Obanai's eyes, and you clearly saw it. It was as if you've unlocked something dark in him. In that instant, you realised that you shouldn't have said that. You shouldn't blame him. But before you can take back what you've said, Obanai has already spoken up.
"Fine. Blame me. I won't say anything again because, I guess, you'll never listen to me."
"Sensei..."
"Go home. I've got lots of things to do. See you in class tomorrow."
The coldness of the breeze blanketed you as you watched how darkness seemingly swallowed Obanai's expression. You waited for a bit for him to say anything, but nothing came. So with tears running down your face, you ran outside his lonely classroom. Your heart heaved from the loss that felt like it might swallow you whole.
Tumblr media
Days have passed since you've learned the truth. And yet, the air remained on your shoulder, bearing the unspoken tension between you and Obanai. Yes, you've cried for nights once again, as if Shinobu's death was just yesterday. The devastation was too hard to bear, but you know you can't back away from what you've started.
You know your sister won't be happy to see you like this forever. Despite the storm raging within you, you came back to your senses and faced Obanai in his classes as professionally as you could.
"So, Y/N-san, what's the answer?"
You blinked in surprise as the familiar voice called your name. You stood up from your seat and faced him with oozing confidence, which made Obanai's eyes widen.
"Yes, even at freezing temperatures, water can remain liquid."
It was the first time in a while that Obanai looked into your eyes. And there, you've no traces of that darkness that he had back on that afternoon. For a while, no one has responded, and both of you just looked into each other's eyes, seemingly longing to put closure on what happened. However, Obanai looked away and spoke up with a cold tone.
"Correct."
You sat back and watched as the professor explained. But of course, you couldn't help but feel so guilty about the things you told him. Looking at him now, you just want to apologise for letting your emotions get the best of you.
And perhaps you might need to do that before your guilt turns into unnecessary anger.
Now, you're face-to-face with Obanai in his empty classroom. Yes, the professor is well aware of your presence, but he refused to acknowledge it. Oh well, not until you stood in front of him and spoke up.
"Where's Kaburamaru? I haven't seen him."
Surprise almost ebbed out of Obanai. Little did you know, but the chemistry professor was dying to talk to you. He had been longing to fix things, as he was well aware of how jerky he acted back then.
You were lost and in despair with the sudden information that he had revealed. Of course, you would react that way. Especially when he had left so much of the information unsaid.
But of course, he is Obanai. He won't let that emotion show. So, he immediately composed himself and faced you without any expression.
"Why do you care? Classes are done. Why are you here? Stop pestering me."
His words made your eyebrows crease. He's colder than usual, and that makes you feel a bit vulnerable. He has all the right to be angry and avoid you after what you did. So you clenched your fist and swallowed your pride.
"Are we seriously going to ignore the elephant in the room?"
"As far as I know, we're done with this discussion—"
"I'm a bitch for blaming you. I didn't know what really happened back then. I just assumed things. I let myself be consumed by my overwhelming emotions. I know it's not an excuse for saying those words to you but sensei, I want to know what happened. And I'm so sorry."
"I'm busy, Y/N-san. Can't you see?"
You groaned, feeling that anytime soon you'd scream with frustration. Desperate to talk to him and knowing everything that happened in the past, you came up with an idea. You leaned in on his desk and spoke up in a low tone of voice.
"If you're so busy right now, meet me at 10 tonight. I'll wait for you in that same coffee shop, Obanai."
Before he can say anything again, you've turned your back and left. If what he said back there is true, if he really cares, then he'll come.
Tumblr media
Clad in an off-shoulder blue top, a red skirt, and black rubber shoes, you found yourself fiddling with your hair as you waited unsurely for Obanai. You really can't blame him if he doesn't come at all, as, first and foremost, he is your chemistry professor. You're well aware that he shouldn't have these kinds of rendezvouses with his students.
Secondly, you've been a little shit for blaming him for the death of Shinobu and for making him feel guilty for surviving that tragedy. If you could just turn back time, you wouldn't have reacted that way.
Thirdly, it's possible that Obanai now despises you. You felt sick in the pit of your stomach at the notion of him hating you. Despite all the shit that has been happening, you can't hide the fact that you still like your professor.
His eyes—those rare heterochromatic eyes and his voice—can all send you to heaven, for all you care. Why hasn't it come to your mind that the boy before had those same beautiful eyes? So that's the reason why you have always found it so enigmatic.
But like before with science, you've messed things up again.
You felt hopeless as you looked at the time. It's past ten, almost eleven. And as if fate hated you, the owner sauntered towards you and told you that they'd be closing the shop.
Feeling embarrassed, you stood up and left, apologising for the bother.
And here you are now, standing in front of the closed coffee shop, as it started to thunder and drizzle. It's past eleven, almost twelve, and still, Obanai isn't here.
You felt your heart hurt in this situation. Tears started to fall on your cheek as you let all your frustrations get ahold of you. Of course, why would he show up?
Crouching down, rain started to pour, but you refused to leave, thinking that perhaps he'd come if you'd wait for a few more minutes.
But no, it's only two minutes before the clock strikes midnight, and yet, there's still no traces of Obanai Iguro.
Soaked in the rain, you covered your face as your sobs became louder. All you wanted to do was apologise and know what happened, and yet, it seems like it won't happen anymore.
"Y/N. Why are you here?"
Hearing that familiar voice, you felt your heart start to race. You looked up and there; those enigmatic heterochromatic eyes clashed with yours. Suddenly, you felt an arm wrapping around yours, pulling you under the protection of his umbrella.
Obanai groaned and took off his jacket, wrapping it over your shoulder.
"Why the fuck would you wait for me under the rain? You should've gone home, dimwit."
"I told you I'd wait."
"But why? Nothing will change Y/N."
"Because I want you to forgive me. Because I want to know what happened. Because I want you to... to be angry at me anymore."
"Whatever. I can't leave you like this. You're soaked to the bone. Ugh, fuck this, come with me."
Your eyes widened with his words. But you didn't complain or ask for more information. You let Obanai lead you to an apartment complex.
Yes, you didn't make any sound, even until he brought you inside his home.
"Sit there. I'll grab some towels and clothes."
Waiting for Obanai to come back from inside his bedroom felt like forever. So then, you looked around, observing his place. The apartment isn't big, but it isn't small either. It lacks colour, and yet the scent of lavender welcomed you. It's quite comforting, unlike your seemingly cold-hearted professor.
You let your eyes wander around as you shivered through your wet clothes. There are tonnes of books, and you assumed that all of those relate to chemistry. You started to wonder how many hours did he stay here to just read those. There's a lot so, what drove him to spend those time, just doing that?
And there on the corner was Kaburamaru, slithering inside his shelter.
But the thing that caught your attention was the picture on his study table. You stood up from your seat and sauntered towards it. You felt warm in your chest as the image registered in your senses.
There, you saw a glimpse of your sister's smiling face. Her beauty is immortalised in this image. And there beside her was a girl who wore braids. Memories of this girl braiding your hair like what you do to yourself came flashing in your head.
Mitsuri-san.
You looked at her little image beside Obanai, who had that small smile painted on his face. Yes, they look happy in this picture, and perhaps it was taken back when they were still volunteering for that foster home.
"What are you doing?"
Obanai's cold voice almost made you faint. You turned around, and there you saw him holding the towel and an oversized shirt.
"Nothing. I just saw a photo of the three of you."
"And who allowed you to go through my things?"
"Sorry, sensei. I was just curious."
"Whatever," Obanai said, then tossed you the towel and shirt. "Go get change. I already cleaned the bedroom so you can stay for the night. Don't worry, I'll sleep on the couch. I'll walk you home tomorrow when the storm calms down."
So, he'll let me stay? You thought as you gave him a faint smile, which made him look away. "Thank you, sensei."
After that encounter, you headed to his bedroom and looked around once again. The scent of lavender smells stronger here, but in a good way. Perhaps Obanai wants to calm himself so badly with this scent. It works well, though. Your anxiousness seemed to fade away.
His room is full of books too. But what surprised you again is the other photo on his bedside table. It was still the three of them. But here, Mitsuri was hugging him... He was smiling.
A pang of pain hit your chest as you decided to saunter quickly in the shower. Yet, even if you wanted to ignore the thought so badly while showering and even dressing, you couldn't help but wonder if he and Mitsuri were a thing before.
Possibly... They're close.
And she's nice; she probably won't say the things you told him before. Yes, Mitsuri is a great woman, just like your sister. It's just so sad that their lives ended before they could flourish for something more.
"You okay there, Y/N?"
You turned, and there you saw Obanai standing by the door, giving you a curious look.
You wanted to ask so badly, but you stopped yourself by biting your lip. But then, Obanai seems to notice. He sauntered inside his bedroom and placed the photo inside his drawer.
"I know you want to ask things. Ask now before I change my mind."
Obanai said as he took off his facemask and fixed his hair. You were astounded to see him without the facemask again. You can't still believe the fact that he's really that mysterious boy from the foster home.
"Sen—"
"Obanai."
"Oh, Obanai, are you and Mitsuri—"
"Almost."
Your face dropped; it seems like there are tonnes of secrets living inside this lad. For some reason, you wanted to know. He gave you this chance, so,
"Almost? What do you mean?"
"Mitsuri's the only girl who made me feel like a normal boy back in the foster home. But I never got the chance to tell her my feelings. I was about to confess when the fire happened."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
"It's okay. It's been too long and I've moved on. But honestly, when I first saw you in a braid back then at the coffee shop, you suddenly reminded me of her."
"Obanai..."
"But then it was just that time. Because you're really different from her."
"Of course. I'm not as nice as Mitsuri-san. Not as pretty as her either."
"Not that. You're... fuck it. You're nice and pretty... and smart, okay? Stop saying that. It's something else. It's more than your physical appearance."
"Then what? Do I remind you of my sister, instead? She raised me so—"
"Not that either. You remind me of... my younger self. Not Mitsuri or even your sister. You're like the young Obanai who hated everything for the pain the world has brought to him. The one who chose to use that loath to try to be in a better place. I'm not saying I am a hundred percent alright now. But it's just that I don't hate the world as much as I did back then. We got to celebrate little wins, right?"
His words crept into your senses and sent you a cold shiver. What does he mean? You felt like you were lost for words as you looked at Obanai and tried to analyse what you heard.
Suddenly, you felt his hands on your cheek again. There, you were sent to the first time he did this. It was when these revelations happened. So what will happen now?
Like a pack of wolves, your anxiousness started to prey on you. Your breathing slowed down, and you felt the tension in the air as Obanai leaned in to embrace you.
"I'm sorry that I made you wait. It was a jerk move."
Without words, you let yourself embrace him back, burying your face in his body. His apology sounded genuine, which made you feel a bit better.
Warmth suddenly flowed within you as you felt Obanai's hand caressing the back of your head, letting his cold fingers run through your locks. With that sensation, you weren't able to stop yourself from wanting him to stay.
"Can you stay here with me, Obanai?" You whispered, which made the man pull out from the embrace. "Why?"
"It's just... I want to know everything. I want to hear what happened."
You heard him sigh as he sat beside you. There, he looked nothing like the Obanai Iguro at the university. He looked nothing like your stern chemistry professor who is apparently allergic to women.
In this moment, he just looked like a normal guy, solid, warm but might be vulnerable. Just like how he looked back then when he was younger, but prettier.
"It's a long story."
"We have all night."
"Fine."
The night passed quickly, and yet you and Obanai didn't notice it.
He told you everything that happened back then, after the last time you'd seen him in that garden. Apparently, he was taken in by the Rengokus with Mitsuri.
He told you how Kyojuro and Mitsuri helped him come back to his senses. They are both reasons why he wanted to be a chemistry professor. It's a payback for how nice they were.
And yes, he had these little visits at the foster home by then, curious to see where the 'girl who weren't afraid of snakes' was. But you weren't there anymore, as you were taken in by the Kochos.
Time passed, and there he met with Shinobu once again as his co-worker. But back then, he had no idea that you were a part of her family. And yes, he didn't ask.
She seemed nice to Mitsuri and to him. But, of course, he didn't reciprocate well. He can't, as he was apparently 'allergic to women' or, more like, hated them, as his family, which is full of women, used to abuse him before.
He treated Shinobu as just a colleague, but never a friend.
But Mitsuri is an exemption as he grew with her. She proved to him that not all women are bad. And yes, he developed feelings for Mitsuri. But he can't reveal it, as he was too afraid. Not until it's too late.
Obanai told you that he was wrapping up his night classes back then when suddenly there was an explosion somewhere in the building. Afraid of what it might be and the consequences, Obanai ran towards it, and there he saw Mitsuri... dead.
It was too late to save her. He can't help but to wonder what if he just arrived a few moments earlier. Would his first love still be alive?
Obanai told you how it ebbed out all the remaining strength in his body. He just wanted to die.
But then he heard another voice from the room, and there he had a glimpse of an injured Shinobu, who was carrying a child. She ran towards him and told him to get the child out of the building, as she would try to look around to see if there were other children left.
And with the shock of seeing Mitsuri dead, he just followed Shinobu's orders and brought the child out to safety.
But then he realised that he shouldn't let his emotions get ahead of him, as there might be other children left inside. So then he ran back inside, and there he saw the weakened Shinobu under a fallen pillar. Obanai tried to save her, but then the girl refused and pointed towards a little girl who was crying on the corner.
She told him to save the child instead, despite all his complaints. He had no choice but to go to the little girl to save her as even if he tried every thing, there is no way that he can pull Shinobu out of the collapsed pillar. Besides, she was too injured.
"I didn't want to leave but Shinobu insisted. She told me that she would never sacrifice anyone for her sake."
Obanai paused to hold your hand as you started crying from what you are hearing right now.
"And there... your sister made me promise. She told me that if ever I see her youngest sister someday, I should do my best to bring her passion for science back. She told me that you were mad at her that day because she told you that she needed to leave for her science project at the foster home. She already knows that you'll hate science, as you might think that it is the reason why she'll die. But she never wanted you to feel that. It was no one's fault. Y/N, she loves you so much."
"Is that the reason why you gave me that notebook?"
"Yes... I always had that notebook because I always thought that perhaps someday I'd meet her sister. I actually prepared it for you in case what Shinobu said became true, and it did. I wanted to fulfill that promise so bad."
"I-I hated science because of what happened. My sister would've been alive by now if she didn't leave that night... But, perhaps that's really what we do if we love something?"
"She loves you more than anything Y/N. Always remember that. No one knew that the tragedy would happen..."
"Yes... I'm sorry for being so illogical Obanai. I am trying my best but... it still hurts a lot."
"No, it's okay. You didn't know. And you should take your time to heal yourself. There's no rush..."
"Thanks. But still... Why did you make this effort at all? Why did you want to fulfill that promise if my sister isn't important at all to you?"
"I don't know. I think it's how I dealt with the guilt of not saving those two—Mitsuri and Shinobu. I always thought that if I couldn't save them, perhaps I could help you? But I really didn't know if what I am doing right now helps you. Perhaps I should've buried—."
"Obanai, don't say that. You... you helped me a lot. And yes, I know you already made Mitsuri and my sister proud of this. And I can't thank you enough for these efforts that you've already made for someone whom you haven't met yet.."
Tears suddenly poured out of Obanai's eyes after hearing those words coming out of you. It's like the knife that has been stabbing him again and again all these years was suddenly pulled out, and there you are, trying to heal his wounds again.
You, on the other hand, realised what your sister's love could do. And you ended up crying too as you realised how wrong you were for telling Obanai that he never tried to save them. He did. He tried his best.
Seeing the strong Obanai breaking down made you feel more vulnerable, and suddenly, you felt the urge to slowly lean in and give him a passionate kiss.
Obanai was stunned. Never in his life has he experienced this. No one has ever looked at him this way after Mitsuri's death. But then, here you are now, kissing him passionately. He had tonnes of questions in mind. But then he shoved all of those and buried them deep within his mind as he let his hands slip around your body.
Warmth embraced the both of you as Obanai started kissing back, slowly pushing you down on the mattress. But then, before he got carried away, he pulled out, blushing so madly.
Drunk in passion and confusion, you opened your eyes, and there you saw Obanai trying to look away. So then, you sat and looked on your lap, feeling the regret of letting your passion take over.
"Sorry Obanai..."
"It's okay."
"I just wanted to... thank you, but I got carried away. I'm so sorry."
"Is that all that kiss was for? Just to thank me?"
His question made you think hard, because what would you answer? Is he expecting you to say yes or no? Confusion blinded you as you felt your hands start to shiver. It's just all too much for tonight.
Obanai noticed it, so he decided to drop the issue and speak up in a calmer tone. "I guess we can talk about this tomorrow. I'm sorry for scaring you again."
He was about to go when suddenly you pulled his hand again and said, "Stay with me, please."
Falling for that beautiful look you had now as you flaunt your vulnerability to him, Obanai can't do anything but agree. And there he stayed the night, lying beside you to caress your hair as you drifted into sleep.
Little did you know that as you slept, the man looked at you, thinking how he'd want to risk everything just to protect you. He touched your cheek and kissed your forehead. Obanai couldn't stop himself from taking in your wonderful image.
Questions are still in his head, especially about the reason behind that kiss. He felt his heart racing once again as he looked at you. He never wanted to be with anyone, but now he thinks he is starting to fall in love again.
All he knows right now is that he adores you, so he wanted to know you better.
Obanai stopped praying. He has never prayed since the night when he escaped his abusive family. But then this night, he prayed so hard that fate would let him be with you. He also prayed that Mitsuri and Shinobu wouldn't kill him for feeling this intense passion for you.
He wants nothing but to be there for you. Aside from protecting you, Obanai would want to risk everything to lift the burden inside of you, even just a little.
It's the least that he can do, as you gave him another chance in life and made him feel like a normal guy again. And for a while, it was peace that he felt right now as you slept on his arms.
Tumblr media
Feeling a bit hazy, you opened your eyes, and there, the scene that you never expected to see welcomed you. Obanai was there, facing you as he slept quietly. His hand was wrapped around your body, making you blush hard. The man looked like it was the first time that he had slept this peacefully in years.
Seeing him like this ignited your passion, which made you want to caress his cheek. Suddenly, faint fragments of the night came into you, which in turn made you redder than you already are. You felt your body heat up as you remembered that you'd kissed this guy last night.
Yes, you kissed your chemistry professor.
It's insane, but you also remembered how you made him confused with the words that you'd told him after. Then it finally hit you... How can you face him at class so casually again after that night? Aside from those heavy revelations, there seems to be a deeper connection that is happening with both of you now.
So even if you still wanted to lay there and just stare at his wonderful face, you slowly lifted up his arms and crawled out of bed. You sneaked towards the window to see if the rain had gone away. It was all stormy last night, but then, it's good to know that the sun is shining brightly today.
You were about to head out of his bedroom, as you badly wanted to sneak out. You just don't know how to react in front of him after everything, and you want to just escape the possible awkward encounter.
But then, just before you could make another step out of his bedroom, Obanai's sleepy voice made you turn to look at him. "What time is it?" He asked as he rubbed his eyes with his hand and stretched his back.
Gulping before you spoke, you looked at the wall clock and spoke up with a trembling tone. "Seven in the morning. I have classes around nine. I should get going." Obanai perked up, realisation coming into his senses.
"Gosh, I almost forgot... I'll cook you breakfast. Wait."
Obanai stood up from the bed, making you bite your lip. As if his intrusive thoughts overtook him, he ruffled your hair before heading out of his bedroom.
Realising that you're all alone again, inside his bedroom, you felt your knees finally give out, and you fell to the ground. How can he act so casual about this? You thought as you blushed madly.
But then, you quickly got on your feet as you realised that even if you ran back to your house to change, you'd still be late. You walked quickly to the kitchen, and there, you saw Obanai making two omelettes.
Your heartbeat rushed as your eyes met. Obanai smiled at you, which almost made you melt. He looks nothing like yesterday. It's like all the grumpiness in him was suddenly gone.
"You hungry? I'll be finished cooking in a few minutes. If you want, you can take a shower now. I have some hoodies and pants that I think would fit you."
You blushed at the thought of you wearing his clothes to the university. "Won't people notice that I'm wearing your clothes?" You asked, fiddling with your fingers.
Obanai tilted his head to the side while looking at you. "Have you seen me wear hoodies at the university?"
"No."
"Then no. Go take a shower now."
You wanted to complain, but as if you were automated to do so, you headed to the bathroom and took a shower. It was surprising to see a lilac hoodie and black pants prepared for you at the bed.
A small smile crept onto your lips. You never expected that Obanai would be this caring. But then, you reminded yourself that perhaps he is just doing this because of his promise to your sister.
Sighing, you put on his clothes and fixed yourself. You know that you shouldn't bother yourself with these thoughts, so you tried shoving them deep within your head.
You went out of the bedroom and were astounded to see the delectable dish that the man had prepared for you.
Obanai appeared out of nowhere, from behind your back. "Y/N, I've already eaten. I'll just take a quick shower, and then we'll head to the university. There's a spare toothbrush that I've prepared there. Feel free to use my comb as well."
"Yes, sir," you said, blushing, and there, Obanai finally left again.
You could see how Kaburamaru stared at you in the corner of your eye. You smiled at him and then proceeded to finish your breakfast and fix yourself.
Obanai emerged from his bedroom, and yes, the lavender smell made you turn your head towards him. He was clad in his usual formal clothing and oversized lab coat again, with that face mask.
You suddenly wanted to tease him, and so you did.
"It looks like my grumpy sensei is back."
He facepalmed and sauntered towards you. You were astounded by the next actions that he took. Cornering you on the wall, Obanai pulled down his facemask and leaned in to kiss you.
A yelp escaped from your mouth, but then you found yourself leaning in to kiss him back. It seems like your vision was filled with fireworks as you felt warmth burning at the pit of your stomach.
Obanai suddenly pulled out, panting from the intense kiss. Before you could say anything, the chemistry professor finally spoke up. "I don't think I could just be your 'sensei' after last night. If you really just kissed me just to thank me, I'll do everything to change that. Y/N. I don't care anymore, but I want you to be mine."
Tumblr media
Panting while trying to suppress all your moans, you found yourself skin-to-skin with your chemistry professor. Obanai covered your mouth as your nails dug into his back.
"Obanai... Mmmm, yes..."
"Sshh, if you'll not be quiet, someone might hear us."
Obanai bit you on your shoulder as he wildly thrusted his throbbing cock inside of you. Making your eyes roll back because of the sensation that he is giving you, a loud moan almost slipped out of your mouth. Thankfully, Obanai managed to cover your mouth before you could scream in pleasure.
But as the pleasure started to engulf you, you started to wonder. How did this happen?
Flashback:
Days have passed since Obanai's confession, and yet you still haven't told him about your real feelings. It's like, whenever you feel that you're ready, you'll end up swallowing the words back again.
So then, Obanai is still oblivious to your feelings. And when we say oblivious, it also means that it makes him more determined to court you. Yes, he is well aware that this could be wrong in the eyes of others. But then, he wanted nothing but to protect you and help you heal.
He wanted to fulfil his promise to Shinobu, but he also didn't want to commit the same mistakes that he had done to Mitsuri. He won't let things become too late before he makes a move.
At school hours, Obanai remained professional—and, of course, grumpy—to all of his students. You are not an exception to this. But then, after classes, the chemistry professor would pull you into an empty hall, away from prying eyes, just to give you your favourite snack or a flower.
Yes, he courted you like a gentleman. Even if it is behind the curtains of being acceptable to all, you can't help but fall for him more.
So then one day, when your curiosity took over, you directly told Obanai something that made him flabbergasted to the bone.
"Are you doing all of this because of the promise that you had with my sister? Because if you're just efforting for that, please just stay as my professor. I can't risk everything if I know I'll be in a situation wherein I'm going to lose more than myself."
Clicking his tongue, Obanai raised his eyebrow at you. "Here you go again with your assumptions," he said with a tone of dismay in his voice.
"I just want to be sure because, just to be clear, you don't have any responsibility for me. I'm a grown woman."
"And I'm well aware of that. I'm not stupid."
"You're not stupid, but I might be. So please just stop this if you're just doing it because of that promise or because I remind you of Mitsuri-san...."
"No. You're wrong. I'm doing this because I like you. Okay? You are good to me even if I was being an all-time jerk. You treated me like a normal guy. And it always feels like I've known you forever."
Hearing those words coming from his mouth, with the clear truth painted on his heterochromatic eyes, you felt your heart rise. And there, finally, you spoke the words that Obanai had been wanting to hear.
"I-I like you too, sensei."
"Y/N..."
Before you could reply, Obanai tugged off his facemask and snaked his arms around you, pulling you into a passionate kiss. There, you felt your knees weaken as you submitted to his strong arms. Never have you imagined in your life that the boy who saved you from being bit by Kaburamaru when you were younger would also be this man who ended up falling for you.
Taken by his emotions, Obanai slowly bit your lip, letting his hands slip under your shirt. Without caring that anyone could enter the room by now, you let his tongue slip inside your mouth, with the kiss only ending with the both of you fighting for dominance.
Heat crept up on your body as you felt his usual cold hands run on your body. With shivers running up your spine, you pulled out and looked into Obanai's eyes. Surprised by the passion painted on his marvellous orbs, you caressed his face and gave him a soft smile.
"I'm all yours, Obanai," you whispered before leaning in to kiss his lips.
Little did you know, your words flipped a switch on Obanai, giving him the strength to carry you to the table. Slowly, his lips went down on your jaw, planting ticklish kisses that went down on your collarbone. A soft moan escaped from your lips as you wrapped your hands around his neck.
That made the chemistry professor look up at you and caress your face. "I want you, Y/N." His words were vague, but you already know what he means. And yes, how could you resist those wonderful eyes and that fierce expression on his face? He was hungry for your touch.
You didn't answer; you spread your legs, inviting him to move closer to you. And there, Obanai gulped and positioned your body between your thighs. There, you slowly felt his hard member, cloaked under his pants, as he slowly grinded on you while kissing you deeply.
And there, another moan escaped your lips, which in turn made Obanai harder than he already is. "Oh, you make me want to fuck you so bad right now," he whispered in your ear, with a voice so sensual that it made you almost cum.
"I want you too, Obanai."
"Are you sure?" He asked as he ran his hands on your hair. You nodded, and there, a small smile managed to escape from his senses. Without saying a word, Obanai's hands worked up on your shirt, taking it off you. Slowly, he opened your bra, making you gasp as the sudden coldness of the room embraced you.
Slowly, Obanai removed his lab coat and shirt, making you gasp as you saw a burn mark on his chest. You touched it gently, making the man bite his lip.
You felt a pinch on your chest with what you saw. He must have gotten that burn mark back that night. So then, even if you knew it wouldn't heal it, you slowly planted kisses on it, making Obanai moan loudly.
Slowly, Obanai slipped his finger under your skirt, pulling your pants to the side. And there, he slowly ran his hands on your wet slit. "Fuck..." you mumbled as you buried your face on his bare chest, licking his scar down to his sensitive nipples.
Pain and pleasure embraced you as suddenly, Obanai slipped two of his fingers inside of you. "Fuck, so tight," he said as he laid you down on the table, spreading you open like a book. And there, his mouth worked on your nipples, nibbling and licking them as he continued to finger-fuck you with an unpredictable rhythm.
"I'm near," you whispered as he fingered you faster. But then, after hearing that, the man stopped and kissed your lips instead.
"I'm so hard right now..." He whispered, making you wetter than you already are. "Fuck me then." You said confidently, ignoring the fact that it'll be your first time if he does what you're suggesting.
"You sure? It'll be my—"
You were astounded by what he was going to say, but then you cut it off by saying, "It's mine too... And I want it to be you. Make love with me, Obanai." You said, making the man nod.
With your words, Obanai pulled down his pants, and there, his hardened cock surprised you. You spread your legs more as Obanai positioned his cock on your entrance, rubbing it against it to tease you.
Feeling impatient, you pulled him close to you and gave him a deep kiss as he slowly entered you. The pain that you felt eventually subsided as Obanai thrust himself in and out of you, whispering how he loved you.
You wrapped your legs around his waist, letting him go deeper into you. But then, just as before you could feel your climax, a knock stunned the both of you.
"Iguro-sensei? Are you here?"
Realising that the door wasn't locked, your heart thumped hard. "Fuck," Obanai groaned as he carried you from the table, still not pulling out. He kicked your clothes under the table as he commanded you to bend down under the table so that nobody could see you.
No one should see you in this state except him!
So there, you followed him and bent down under the table, with his cock still inside of you. Obanai put on his shirt and lab coat, draping them on you.
And there, your heart thumped harder. But the risk he is putting you in right now didn't stop you from feeling more aroused. He signalled for you to shut up, and there he spoke up with his usual uninterested voice, letting the student into his classroom.
"What do you want?"
"Sensei, you have no facemask," Nezuko said, surprised to see their professor like that for the first time.
"So? What do you need, idiot?"
The innocent Nezuko came in and spoke up. "Iguro-sensei, I just want to ask if you have seen Y/N. Our next class will start, but she still isn't around."
You felt a bit guilty for making your classmate worry, but then you knew that you couldn't just show up right now. Looking up, you saw Obanai flash you a 'you're dead' look that made you gulp. The professor hates it when students skip classes, and now you're skipping one to get fucked by him.
Obanai groaned at Nezuko. "Do I look like a babysitter? She's not here, can't you see? Go find her somewhere else. Perhaps she's out there slacking off or what, for all I care."
"Sorry sensei..."
"Go out and lock the door before closing it."
A few seconds after Nezuko left and locked the door, Obanai yanked you out of the table with your hair and bent you on the table.
"So, you're skipping classes now, huh? I'm going to fuck you so hard for this. Bad girl."
Obanai said, not letting you speak as he thrust deeper and harder into your wet pussy, making you moan loudly. He took off his remaining clothing again and yanked your hair harder as he grinded in his cock on your damped hole.
"Fuck, you feel so good."
End of flashback
"Obanai... Mmmm, yes..."
"Sshh, if you'll not be quiet, someone might hear us."
Obanai bit you on your shoulder as he slowly inserted his throbbing cock inside of you. Making your eyes roll back because of the sensation that he is giving you, a loud moan almost slipped out of your mouth. Thankfully, Obanai managed to cover your mouth before you could scream in pleasure.
With your orgasm building inside of you, you felt yourself tearing up. Obanai kissed your neck, groped your breasts, and played with your nipples as he fucked you hard.
"Fuck, I'm near..." He said, turning you over to face him now. There, he laid you on the floor, with your lustful and passionate eyes locked with each other. "I want to see your face as you cum." He said, and there, Obanai started slipping his cock in and out of you as his right hand worked to rub your clit.
With the overstimulation, you can't help but wrap your legs around him, pulling him down to kiss him deeply as you tear up with the sensation that you are feeling.
And there, as if atoms had collided, you felt an explosion inside of you as your sweet juices mixed with Obanai's cum. "Fuck!" He said as you bit his shoulder, letting the pleasure take over.
With his thrusts slowing down, Obanai collapsed over you, panting. You ran your hands on his hair and buried your face in the crook of his neck. Your heart is racing with the rhythm of his.
"I love you, Obanai."
"I love you too. You're mine."
"I'm yours."
Tumblr media
You looked at the sky, letting the cold breeze caress your skin. Resting on your lap was Obanai, who was petting Kaburamaru.
You looked down on the chemistry professor, and realisation hit you again. This marvellous man is yours. Who would have thought that the boy you've met at the foster home would change your life?
And there, you realised that if Shinobu and Mitsuri could see the both of you now, perhaps they would be happy. You know how those girls wanted you and Obanai to be happy before, and now it happens because you found love with each other.
And it's true, Obanai had seen his old self in you, but now it's different.
Like he had said before, both of you are not a hundred percent alright right now. But it's just that you don't hate the world as much as you did back then. And yes, you have to celebrate little wins, right?
And now, celebrating will be better, as you will get to celebrate it with the one you love every day.

Selfess. Kim Dokja.
Summary: The irony, to be a reader's reader. To view his story in between breaks at work, between sick days and vacations, as words flickered before you the same way they did for him on the subway. Digital words trying to break down every little aspect of a man you know hurts inside with a raw passion. Like scraped skin meeting air for the first time. It made you want to hold him, to listen to him, to comfort him, but Dokja always held you at arms length in some way, even if it was so subtle no one but you could sense it.
Author's Note: This has no spoilers for the manhwa readers but was written for those who have gone through the entire novel
Word Count: 3500+

Selfishness. A human trait. One bled into society to the point it has been ingrained in every sidewalk; every ruined shop with shelves toppled over from those searching desperately for food, only to find nothing; every hand held out waiting to be held; and every moment that passes by while you're selfish enough to dare to take another breath. Possibly robbing another of their own air to fill their lungs.
Should you stop and risk apologizing?
No, there was never the time to spare.
Too selfish to stop and give those few precious seconds to another person as they cry for aid or in pure, unbridled wrath as you kill the person next to them. Throat squeezed between your bare hands even after their pulse faded away. Only letting go because you were pushed off. Having, at the time, been shoved to the ground as a murderer just like you rose a pipe so high you couldn't imagine it doing anything other than crashing into your skull as it fell.
Whenever that memory comes up, it somehow always leaves a dull ache in your head, like you're remembering the times that metal became one with your bones and brain. Shattering on impact with a sickening thud that left you feeling sick before it all went black.
That would make sense, after all, wouldn’t it? That man having been the one to end it all for you time and time again, so you never end up making it past that first scenario. (Much like a certain someone.)
The first challenge that faced everyone in this dome.
The one that made everyone in it a murderer.
Self-serving.
Self-centered.
Self-regarding.
That's what you all were.
Even him, having dared to make a request of you.
Even as Dokja rested in your lap, black hair tickling your thighs that had you wondering if shorts really were a good idea for sleepwear even if it was the dead of summer and it's annoyingly high temps that left you sweating even when a sword wasn't grasped in hand. Calluses you never thought you'd have carding through the sleeping man's tresses. Absent-minded as you kept your blurred gaze on him.
It was decided the lot of you would hole up here for the night even with the cracks in the foundation that had you second-guessing the structural integrity, but you had been assured it's fine. Like an office worker had any right to assure you of that, but you still shut your mouth at that and nodded along.
“Sure, Ugly,” on your lips. A teasing smile meeting his grimace at the moniker Dokja never failed to show his hatred for.
Good for him. He can be pissy all he wants. If anything, it just makes you tempted to take your phone out and snatch a picture. That is, if it wasn't shattered to a thousand pieces by now and tossed into the waters below. Fish food now, much like Dokja was after Yoo Joonghyuk dropped him off the bridge.
He doesn't appreciate that joke either.
You had insisted on being the one to stay up, to keep watch even as he fought you the entire way as you and the kids wrangled him into laying down. Gilyoung had kicked your shin for pointing out Dokja's eye bags as he finally laid down. White coat folded up in a bundle, far from neatly at that, and tucked under his head in place of a pillow.
This time, you chose to hold your tongue from joking about his mother never teaching him how to do laundry.
So you sat and waited, brushing off the dirt from the assault the evil little creature (or as you liked to call the kid as you pinched his cheeks) left on you. Footprint easily blending in with all the other layers of dirt you have accrued over the past few days without a proper bath. Wet wipes only proved to be a decent substitution for so long. The sun slowly dipped behind concrete towers until being swallowed away by the waters to come back tomorrow, the moon rising in its stead.
Glowing brighter than you could ever recall it doing before this world turned to shit. The lack of street lamps probably helped. Even if the stars were out, almost so close you could reach out and touch them. Card your fingers through the Milky Way like it was a pot of glitter from an arts and crafts project.
“I know you're still awake.” You finally said after you were one hundred percent certain the kids were passed out. Blankets no longer stirred from trying to get comfortable on the hard floor, and Yoosung's mutterings flowed into her habit of talking into her sleep.
Oftentimes, she would cry for someone to come hold her; even in the dead of night.
“I'm sore from that fight earlier today. And it's taking longer to get used to the concrete than I thought it would.”
“Liar. You just need to make sure for yourself that we'll all be okay.”
You waved off the messages appearing beside you at his reply. Notifications came so often that you had learned to tune them out.
“I'll take over from here. You should get some rest yourself.”
It was surprising he didn't punctuate the sentence with your sponsor's title, or worse, your name. He had a habit of doing that at the worst of times, making himself all cozy by disregarding your last name entirely and simply calling you by ... .Well, by the word that makes you turn your head on instinct the second it's called out.
By now, it was far too fuzzy in your brain to remember that first time you truly met him to recall if you gave it to him or he simply knew it.
Were you, too, a character in his eyes?
The thought had struck you many times, what Dokja saw when he looked at you. Especially now as he turned over in his spot, head propped up on his hand to look at you. Scrutinizing. Like he was reading a blue box perched right under your profile that read out:
Your name.
Your age.
Supporting constellation: Arrow-shooting cherub.
And all that other drabble that came with it.
Or were you a selfish person that he chooses to see as an ally despite having no place in his heart before the world fell?
Honestly, you had no clue which was better. At least with the latter he wouldn't know the times you cried late at night in your room, of the times you blearily made it through the day only to let the worlds between pages be your comfort as soon as the front door locked behind you, of how you would see a character so broken, so damaged and-
“No.” You huffed.
Both to his words and your own mind's ramblings. If you could bury that away the same way the Ugly King was atop that hill as wails filled your ears, you would.
“You're human like the rest of us, whether you like it or not. Got that, bubba?”
Such a different way of calling him ahjussi. Definitely a lot less respectful, but something tells you he doesn't mind as much as some other stubborn men in this world would.
“Here I thought I was a Supernatural character. That's what you like to call me with the others, right?”
At least not enough to roll his eyes at, anyway.
“I think the name suits you well. You're just missing some plaid. We can get you a shirt…or a kilt?”
“Not happening.”
A huff of a laugh escaped him, somewhere between breath of air pushing out of his lungs and the chuckles you can get from him after telling a particularly bad pun.
You two stayed like that for a minute, Dokja laying down with his eyes on you. Somehow, even with the intrusive feeling of him staring through you rather than at you, it was comforting.
Dark eyes shone in the light of the fire keeping the four of you warm. Crackling firewood as it tumbled into a new shape, a new little tent of sticks a better background noise to listen to than the mutterings as they finally slowed down for the time being.
“They care about you.”
To the point Yoosung and Gilyoung were nearly attached to him at the hip. If someone had told you those two were stuck to him on those backpacks with leashes parents used before the fall, you wouldn't have even batted an eye. Maybe even believed it for a moment there.
“Which is why you need to get some rest. The first step in letting someone care about you is letting them force you to sleep, to eat, to sit back and let them…”
Hug you.
“Help you.”
‘Don't think about yourself here’ is a great reminder as to why you pressed your lips together in a thin, impossibly straight line. Refusing to say the words lurking in your mind.
“You mean to tell me I'm not supposed to do everything myself?”
The sarcasm in his voice made you want to snatch that makeshift pillow out from under him. So, of course, that's what you do. A call of your name filling the air as he tried to wrangle it back. Something about how it's too cool to end up ruined and how he went through a lot of effort to get that.
“Last I checked, you wanted it in black!”
He was still tugging it from your hands when you heard a murmured call of Dokja's name over the ruckus you were both causing when you froze. He did, too, looking back at the kids for a moment before sighing in relief.
Just Yoosung. As normal.
“I can't rest if I don't have something to sleep on,” he whispered to you. Tone harsh, but never filled with as much contempt as when speaking to a certain regressor. That, and every other emotion he held for the man.
“But I'm cold.” You dared to say, like it wasn't sweltering hot only hours before.
Well, some did say that the summer nights are the ones that make you truly feel like you're freezing.
“Are you?”
Before you could even nod he had pulled the jacket from your hands, with enough force you couldn't help but wonder if his petty ass stacked a few coins up and pushed them into the starstreams vaults, or however that worked, to up his strength stat. Not even your grippy little fingers helped at all. Your attempts to hold onto it a forgotten cause.
Or not.
Not as he wrapped it around your shoulders with a boyish grin. Something so nice to see, his ability to smile, even if it is only to comfort you.
It would be so easy to let your head fall to the clouds and pretend he's not forcing it. But after what happened recently, another scenario passed you by like a bullet train that whooshed up your scarf and had it flying up and away to follow it even as you desperately reached out to grasp onto it with all you had, you knew that simply wasn't the case.
“It smells like male B.O.”
“Well, I do happen to be a man.” Before you could even protest, Dokja said: “despite what you may say.”
“You got laundry soap in that fancy Dokkaebi Shop of yours?”
“Actually, I might.”
You could see his hand twitching to pull up the menu to check, something you're not even sure of if Dokja is allowed to do in front of you despite the many times he has. Little to no shame about it now that he had become a constellation.
“Later. Or I'll make fun of the fact that your eyebags are so big you can carry all my trauma in there.”
“You literally just did.”
Your hand was on his face before you could even think about it, thumb brushing along the bluish skin as it became more and more tinted the longer this world stayed like this. He would stay up most nights insisting to keep watch even if he was the one to suggest everyone stopped to rest, biting at his thumb as endless possibilities swirled in that stubborn mind of his.
Does he not know it's rude to make others see him wearing himself down like that every day?
“Don't know what you're talking about, bubba.”
And this position is extremely awkward now that you think about it. Hand snapping back to your side to grab at that stupid coat to pull it tighter around you despite not truly needing its warmth. However, it did smell nice. Like him. Despite, well, the gross layer to it.
“Right…”
“You could use some eye cream. Too bad your ugly self never heard of makeup before the dome came up. Otherwise, you might have actually had a social life.”
Beyond just pretending the one he admired with all his heart was real in those moments of weakness when the feeling of being alone truly etched itself into his heart. Was a solid human being who could pat him on the shoulder as they did that awkward man hug.
“Why are you like this?” Dokja asked in the flattest tone he could manage.
“You see, it all started when my parents had sex-”
Dokja shook his head at that. His stupid bowl cut waving back and forth in just the right way that had it slightly tousled up when he stopped.
And we all had problems in this world that made us what we are now.
That's what you didn't say.
“Rest. Please.” Not a request, not a demand, but a plea. One that had your voice cracking in protest at opening up that tiniest bit without the doors to your heart being pried open with a crowbar. Of course, they'd have to get through the chains and boards nailed to the frame first.
Selfishly, you wanted him to be the one to pull those nails from the rotting wood.
In a way, he already has. (The same you know he will never fully free you of them).
And you wanted to be the one to hold the lock over his own, to cradle it, and open it not with a pick or some other cheap tool meant to get to the treasure within so easily, but with a key he willingly gives you.
To know what it's like for him, for once, to be honest with you. Even if that means to stop lying to himself in the process.
“Or I'll get a marker and really draw attention to those bags of yours. Maybe I'll even start calling you an old man and insisting they're a sign of aging. Those stories catching up with you, oldy?
“I never thought I would have missed being called ‘Ugly King.’” He groaned.
But for now, all you can do is watch it dangle before you as it shines in the light of another's hands. Dangling from a black cord. Yoo Joonghyuk. How Dokja looks at the regressor the same way you did him.
“Then I'll be nice for once and keep that nickname to myself if you lay down, shut your eyes, and fall the fuck to sleep.” Before he could ask with what pillow, because, yes, you were already expecting that question, you pat your lap. Far too used to his sarcasm to not see it coming a mile away. “Sleep.”
There was no fight, no bite back as Dokja just sighed and let himself fall down even as he was clearly embarrassed over this. Refusing to look at you like that would do anything to stop the tiniest flush you could see in his skin if you simply stopped to look. Just like you always have. But still, no fight was a good thing. Hopefully, that meant he was too exhausted to even bother because then he would have no choice but to slip away into dream land as your fingers slid through his hair. Easing him into the wakeless world.
“I'll keep watch. I promise.”
You soaked in his time, in him, as you watched those eyes drift shut.
“Last time I heard you singing Gilyoung a song.” The words were particularly muffled by your thigh, the skin growing goosebumps as you felt his breath fanning over you. Somehow, you're too hot and too cold all at the same time as you replied back with a confirmation.
“Are you asking me to sing for you, too? Does little Dokja need a lullaby?”
“Nevermind.”
“Hey, hey, no.” Your hand stopped in his hair for a moment, the dirt under your nails from earlier today so easily spotted as your eyes flicked between him and the calloused hand that has dared to take lives, but still treat him so softly. “I just don't really remember all the words. I can't look them up without wifi and all that so…”
“What do you remember?” He dared to ask.
So, for him, you answered: “enough.”
Enough for you to hum to the parts you're missing and sing the rest as that moon that had risen up into the sky slowly started to drop again. It's much like a video game where you're messing with the time settings just to continue on your quest. Your next adventure. Your next task.
But selfishly, you wanted this moment to last forever as you sang about a little baby moon shining in the sky with his funny little toes in the air.
“And he's all alone in that big blue sky.”
The lyrics had you aching to stop and to bite at your lip as Dokja drifted off to sleep, but still you continued on, because for him, It didn't matter if your throat burned or you legs went numb. Not even when you'd surely have trouble walking the next day as they struggled to pump blood back through them properly, not if it meant he got a moment of reprieve from what you knew was going to happen next.
Is this what it felt like for him watching Yoo Joonghyuk during their encounters? Each passing day went by like a sweet song that you wished to play in your head again and again until you remembered every lyric, every pitch, every note, until the ability to play it through memory alone graced you.
The same way you did the pages of his book. Quote after quote of his assurances to others that he never dared give himself still so fresh even after reading through them for the nth time.
How you wanted to be the one to tell Dokja he'd be able to get through it all.
If he only allowed it.
Only allowed you in to give him more than a moment of reprieve to sleep. To hold him, to listen to him, to comfort him. To cradle Dokja the same way you did your phone after reading translations of the novel in the dead of the night.
It's complicated to hold someone this dear, to look at them and only wish for them to have the best yet know they have been robbed of that. Know they will be robbed of even more.
But this is the choice he wanted.
And who are you to disrespect that?
Even as it has tears falling from your cheeks as you sang that stupid song again, words coming out broken between sobs you hoped wouldn't wake the children and the man you loved in a way that went beyond mere friendship, beyond mere passion for another, beyond mere familial ties.
No, it went beyond that.
That's why you couldn't be selfish, not with him, not even after all those fix it fics you relished in because at least then you'd see him happy. See that boyish grin full of pure joy and nothing else.
So you would stand on the side lines, let him view you as another character to save if he must, and hold your sword tight as it's raised to protect him.
Because, and the words came out like a croak as you whispered them to yourself, a confession between only you and the constellations above. “I love you.”
‘In lieu of loving myself.’
The fate of a reader's reader. Your precious main character.
For your selfishness, for your own broken and guarded heart, for him, this can only be said knowing he can't hear your deepest secret. No, Dokja had other things he needed to do, better, more important things than to worry about you. So you would give it all to him, no matter if it meant shattering yourself too.

dust | @jegulus-microfic | words: 864
critical care, part 8 (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part 9)
a Jegulus nurse!AU
James Potter was a catch.
A brilliant, handsome, charming catch. He was confident boarderlining on arrogant, suave verging on dazzling, one of the smartest nurses in Gryffindor, and god help him, he was not going to fuck up the pass he was attempting to make at Regulus Black.
The very same man who had just texted him his clean STD panel after telling him in no uncertain circumstances that they would be fucking soon and enthusiastically.
[Of course, I expect you to provide the same results.]
Hell, James would take whatever test Regulus asked of him. He’d take the entire nurse licensing exam all over again if he wanted it. And blood results? James would stick himself with a rusty nail if it meant satisfying Regulus’s requirements.
Play it cool, Potter. Play it cool.
Not desperate, no; just cool, suave, James Potter.
He had this.
[For sure! You’re very organized lol!]
The answer: [I prefer no condoms.]
Holy shit, he did not have this.
“...you think Dorcas would go for that?”
Sirius was still carrying on their conversation and did not seem to realize that James was about to pass out right in front of him.
“Sure, Pads,” he all but wheezed, fighting to keep a straight face. “Dorcas. Good idea.”
“Really, James, are you okay? You look… weird.”
He waved him off, clearing his throat. “No, no, I’m just… dust! There’s lots of dust floating around.” He coughed pointedly once more. “Keep talking, I’m listening.”
[Does that bother you?] Regulus asked while James was in the middle of saving his number.
Oh, James was bothered alright.
After some deliberation, he decided he needed some kind of code name for the Slytherin to be saved under. It would be nothing short of incriminating for someone to see Regulus Black texting him suggestive shit, but he needed something slightly less obvious than Sirius’s Hot Little Brother. He thought back to the little silver chain twined around Regulus’s gorgeous neck. Three letters hug off it: RAB.
Perfect.
…This was completely crazy. He was having a straight-faced conversation about possibly the most earth shattering, borderline-pornographic sex he would ever have in his life with Regulus Black and Sirius wanted to stand there and talk pranks.
[You’re so fucking hot. I am fighting for my life here.]
[You could stand to suffer more. So tell me what you’re into.]
Oof, what a loaded question. Well, apparently he was into best friend’s little brothers who enjoyed dirty sex, which was an interest he could do without.
Good sense made him pause.
Was he ready to hand over very personal, potentially humiliating information to a coworker he’d just met yesterday? The memory of Regulus’s gorgeous, lithe body standing on his toes as he leaned into James’s space to whisper the things I like might be a bit much for you was the deciding factor.
Jame Potter would honestly hand Regulus Black a fucking loaded gun if this conversation would just continue.
But what could he say in response to a question like that? He didn’t want to come off as too much, but Regulus didn’t strike him as the kind of guy that would be satisfied with too little, either.
Fuck, what to do.
Apparently, Regulus has some ideas.
“Am I not entertaining you here, Prongs?” Sirius snapped loudly, forcing James to look up from reading the incredibly dirty texts that Regulus was starting to send. His best friend was glaring at him.
Suddenly, Sirius lunged for his phone.
And James, who hadn’t expected it, found that he was too slow to keep custody of it.
“SIRIUS, FUCK OFF!”
“No! I want to know what’s so fascinating on here that you can’t be bothered to listen to me for the last ten minutes!”
He tussled with Sirius to steal it back, but with no luck. At a certain point in the scuffle, James became uncomfortably aware that the family of the patient in bed eighteen was blatantly staring at them. Embarrassed, James backed off, straightening his burgundy scrubs and trying to look professional. Sirius, who could care less what other people thought, didn’t even bother looking up, instead taking his time examining James’s text messages.
He held his breath, desperately trying to come up with a solid defense for why Sirius’s precious baby brother might be texting him some of the dirtiest shit James had ever been sent. You know, just in case Sirius Realized.
I was framed.
It was an accident.
He looks like my future husband.
Weak. Weak defenses, all of them.
Get it together, Potter!
“No condom, huh? Wow, what a whore,” Sirius declared with the admiration of one who had shared that title. He glanced through the texts and negative STD results, making James nearly ascend. “I respect him. This guy knows what he’s about! Rab, huh? Who’s this again?”
“I didn’t say.”
Bloody hell, Sirius was going to kill him—kill him twice: once for having a single sexual thought about his little brother and again for letting Sirius say that about Regulus, who, according to Marlene, he believed was an innocent baby angel who could do no wrong.
“It’s just some guy,” James finished faintly.
“Huh.” Sirius handed the phone back. “Hot. You should fuck him.”
…Well, if you insist.

Snape's Search History - Part 2
Tumblr media
Hello! Slightly shorter, but slowly crawling forward. I'm writing a book of my own which requires quite a lot of time and creative inspiration, so that's taking priority... anyway, enjoy!
Featuring: our favourite grumpy bat-boy and Minerva's I'm too old for this attitude.
Tags are at the bottom - if I've missed anyone, I do apologise.

Minerva McGonagall rapped sharply on the Potions classroom door and entered without waiting for a reply. She half expected something short of a calamity - perhaps the desks all scorched into remains beyond recognition, an infestation of some sort, chaos in the form of the furniture being stuck to the ceiling or anything else which would claim “round-way-wrong” - and Severus’ face contorted and twitching as he muttered dark things under his breath, but no. She was most mistaken.
Snape stood in the middle of his classroom, his arms folded, one hand propped beneath his chin as he stared blankly at his chalkboard, his face quite placid, even serene, as he stood deep in thought.
Minerva paused, feeling an odd pang of unrest in her chest at this strange change, for he was hardly in such a state and something must have been certainly very wrong. She followed the line his eyes made to the blackboard, saw nothing which could be the subject of such intense evaluation, so she merely looked back and forth between him and the wall a few times before clearing her throat.
His eyes flicked towards her, but the rest of his position remained stagnant.
Minerva didn’t say anything; neither did he. After a few moments, she looked past him, walked a few steps into the room, then turned around to look at the walls for any sort of unobvious differences that could have brought on this change of facade. Snape let out a dry chuckle.
“Nothing has changed since you were last here, Minerva.”
She turned to look at him.
“Then I don’t understand.”
Snape nodded thoughtfully.
“Me neither,” was the reply, before he marched up to his blackboard, turned on his heel, stood still, then began to evaluate the desks in the same position as before. This was enough for her to become slightly unnerved and her eyebrows to climb up to the highest ring on her forehead as she watched him. Still, the silence dragged on long before she formulated a question of any sort and that was only after the Potions Master got down on his knees and began to look under the desks as though he had previously misplaced a cork of a bottle, looking rather silly.
“What are you doing?” she said flatly, tilting her head to peruse him.
“Investigating,” he replied calmly from under the desk, looking up at the underbelly of the furniture.
“Investigating.” Minerva nodded, though she was everything but enlightened. “And what on could you be investigating under the desks, on the floor?”
Snape banged the back of his head on the desk-edge as he emerged from beneath it, cursed viciously, then this alien demeanour he had borrowed for a moment shattered and dissolved into his standard one. The dark scowl looked so normal back on its master’s face that Minerva’s chest loosened a little.
Snape drew out his wand. After a moment, in which more investigation and observance occurred, his scowl deepened and suddenly lunged and struck the front desk with it.
“Revellio.”
Nothing happened. Minerva watched him, po-faced. Snape repeated the gesture.
“Revellio!”
Not a peep. He growled, then pointed his wand at the ceiling.
“Revellio!” The wand was pointed at his blackboard. “Revellio!” The tip was directed at his desk, at the floor, at the back of the classroom, at the door of his store cupboard.
“Revellio! Revellio! REVELLIO-!”
“Severus, please,” McGonagall said, approaching him as he scowled and his eyes darted around the classroom. “This verges on nonsensical. There is nothing here.”
“That’s the problem!” Severus snarled, his knuckles white on the black of his wand. “This makes no sense whatsoever! Confounded brats… This is idiocy!”
“What is?”
“This innocence… this consideration!”
The last word was spat out like something vile. Minerva’s eyebrows dropped down and she looked completely exasperated.
“Consideration? Severus, what precisely is going on?”
“I don’t know!”
Minerva’s hands stiffened as she grew impatient.
“Can you please calm yourself down and tell me what brought on this… this whole examination?” she said. “I would be very grateful. This hysteria is quite past what is expected of both of us. Put your wand away, Severus.”
Snape seemed to regain himself as she spoke. He straightened, breathed out a long sigh through his nostrils, arrested the fire snapping in his eyes, then slowly fed his wand back into his sleeve and drew his cloak tight about him.
“Your pupils, Minerva,” he began in his low voice, looking much displeased, “have been behaving in a very strange manner today.”
McGonagall watched him, remembering the giggling trio she had passed on the corridor and their strange mood.
“You mean Potter, Weasley, and Miss Granger?”
“Indeed,” he spat, then grimaced disdainfully at the front desk which had been occupied by the unwelcome trio a few moments before, before looking back up at her. “Well? Are you surprised?”
“No,” she replied immediately, glancing at the desk too, then paused. “Have they been causing trouble?”
Snape’s face stretched into a very dry smile.
“Trouble?” He scoffed, then grew solemn again. “Why, yes. Well, no. In fact… ah, confound and bebother those varmints-!”
Minerva had pursed her lips. “Severus-”
“Yes!” He clenched his fists and stormed towards his desk. “Yes, they have been causing trouble! They have undoubtedly been causing trouble, otherwise Potter wouldn’t have had an accursed aureole shining around his head for the entire lesson!”
At this, McGonagall frowned, but Snape wasn’t done.
“Weasley, too!” He fell into his chair then sat up, rigid with passion, his fingers digging into the wooden armrests. “Not a single word out of his mouth during the entire lesson! He usually doesn’t shut up, his mouth works like a watermill! And this time, silence!”
“One moment.” McGonagall was close to pinching the bridge of her nose. “You mean to say-”
“And Granger,” Snape cut her off, snapping, his fingernails making scratch-marks in the wooden armrests as his fists clenched. “I’ve never seen her so pleasant in the entire time she’s been here. Didn’t put her hand up once! Her head was down, she did the work without a word and not a bullet of the usual know-it-all piffle left her mouth!”
His form loosened and he fell backwards against the back-rest, his hand dangling over his face as he worked rest into his face muscles and the creases around his eyes with his fingers. McGonagall watched him with pursed lips, feeling it wouldn’t be wise to interject until he finished with his mental breakdown.
“And that’s not all,” he muttered, rubbing his eyes. “The homework they handed in today is twice the length I asked for. And I mean twice the length. The spaces between words and the size of their handwriting wasn’t different from their standard lettering.”
“I fail to understand why that calls to get so worked up,” Minerva said carefully. “Surely, you don’t find this irritating?”
“And it’s top standard,” the wrecked Potions Master continued, his voice almost breaking. “It was concise and intelligently written. Into the bargain, all three pieces of work were different. The pair of idiots clearly didn’t copy off Granger this time. It seems they have put effort into those rolls of parchment like never before. I dread to think what it is they have done to act in this manner.”
Minerva shook her head as she watched the black bat sprawled out on his wooden chair. He saw her scrutiny and growled.
“You weren’t here, Minerva - I have very good reason for suspecting nothing but trouble. Potter didn’t talk back to me once. He claimed blame, even if it was unjustified.”
At this, Minerva frowned. “Harry Potter?”
“What other Potter is there?”
Minerva, this time, did pinch the bridge of her nose and both adults stood there feeling quite shaken. The former regained herself first.
“Let me sum this up,” she said. “You are completely and utterly indisposed because Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger were well-behaved for the entirety of your lesson.”
“I am completely and utterly indisposed,” Snape repeated with disdain and through clenched teeth, “because they have clearly done something, or are about to do something, which must have stirred enough remorse within their hollow little souls to not place a toe out of line for the entirety of my lesson. Not to mention this.”
He leaned forward and grasped something, then offered it to Minerva. She stepped forward and squinted at the object; it was an empty glass vial, with a square label which read: headache draught.
She glanced up at him as she took it in her fingers. “I’m afraid I don’t understand.”
“This appeared upon my desk when my back was turned.”
“And you think they placed this on your desk?”
“No,” Snape said after some thought. “This is something far darker than both of us think.”
Minerva looked at him over the rim of her spectacles.
“This empty vial?” she said flatly.
“It was full when I first beheld it.”
“And what happened to its contents?”
“I poured it down the sink.”
Minerva paused.
“Why?”
Snape rubbed his face and stood up, looking fixated. “It was very cleverly disguised. It smelled exactly like what it claims to be.”
He began to pace. Minerva placed the sinister, empty vial back on his desk and folded her arms, looking down her nose at him as though he was an adolescent hissing about overblown drama which had happened upon the corridors and had tarnished his reputation into disrepair. Not that she hadn’t seen that before.
“There can only be one explanation for this,” he finished, standing still. “It has to be.”
“Which is?”
He turned and met her eyes with his obstinate, dark gaze.
“Someone is trying to exact their vengeance upon me.”
Minerva said nothing, her face betrayed nothing.
“It wouldn’t be the first time it happened,” he muttered. “I’m not taking any risk. I don’t have a very tolerant stomach…”
Minerva began to shake her head. “Severus.”
“...headache draught indeed.” He scoffed. “The only question is: who? And why? I am beginning to doubt that Potter wasn’t involved in it, though perhaps he wasn’t acting of his own accord. Our favourite trio wouldn’t even know that they were under the Imperius curse-”
“Severus.”
He turned to her impatiently, then shut his mouth under the impact of her gaze.
“Has it not occurred to you,” Minerva began patiently, “that instead of poisoning or attempting to murder you, someone could be simply trying to help you out?”
Snape looked at her incredulously, then burst out laughing. It was his usual harsh, grating laugh, which was emitted more to mock than to express amusement. It bounced off the classroom walls like hailstone.
“Of course,” he chortled. “That would make sense. Let’s be nice to the irritable wretch of a teacher who resides solely in the dungeons of the castle.”
“I’m sorry you struggle to understand the concept of compassion,” Minerva said, rolling her eyes and moving towards the exit. “Perhaps you ought to take this as a sign, Severus, and with it this concept into consideration.”
“Nonsense,” he replied, then placed the base of his palms to his temples and moved to sit in his chair as he grimaced. “There is no such thing as compassion. If there is, it is very hard to find, and simply non-existent in these particular corridors, between these particular individuals.”
Minerva didn’t see the sense in trying to convince him otherwise. Instead, she simply looked at him pointedly as he grasped his head and shut his eyes to try and contain his headache.
“Stop spearing me,” he muttered, sighing. “I’ve not forgotten what brats are capable of. I was one too. It’s certainly nothing but chaos and infidelity. I’m not stupid.”
“No. You are stubborn,” she replied, shaking her head, “and prone to jumping to very unfavourable conclusions. Now that you poured that draught down the drain, why don’t you make yourself another? Lessons resume in fifteen minutes.”
Snape groaned and muttered some dark words, followed by a very low: “I will manage.”
“As you like,” McGonagall replied in a tone which seemed to highlight her claim about how stubborn Snape was. “I will see you at lunch, Severus. Don’t get yourself too worked up, now.”
He didn’t answer; Minerva shut the door behind her, taking the rest of the noise and warmth of presence with her.
Five minutes of silence and dwelling later, Severus Snape rubbed his eyes, opened them, then fixed them onto the glass vial with the ‘headache draught’ lettering arranged upon the label, apparently nothing but innocent.
“Help me,” he repeated absentmindedly, then snorted and leaned back in his chair. “Of course the intention was to help me. Because that is what we do when we have a spare moment. We all come together, sit down at a round table and discuss how to make somebody’s life less of a damned hellscape over a light cup of coffee.”
Snape’s rigid posture broke as the sneer ebbed off his face. His eyes flicked around at the walls of his empty classroom, then to the pale skin of his hands which hadn’t held another for over two decades. He thought of the bleak and empty days the future promised him, feeling something horrible, hard and gooey congealing in his chest. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.
“Silence!” Snape commanded nobody in particular, feeling his voice begin to crack as it echoed around the classroom.
He put his face in his hands, pressing them to his facial features to keep them in stone, but they creased into something embarrassing and despairing anyway.
“Silence…” he repeated, but with his voice hoarse and thick. “Very well. Fine. Let it be so.”
He regained himself, then fixed his face into the window, making a sharp move to smear any stray tears away, then folded his hands tight and pressed them to his lips. Still, the red rimming his eyes, cheeks and nose gave him away, though his face was cold and disinterested as marble.
His voice was a mere whisper, though the boggart hiding under the sink heard it and obeyed:
“Let it be silent.”
