Tim doesn’t hold grudges but instead of Danny holding grudges for him it’s duke
hihi anon! and ykw... yeah. yeah, that is very much something I see Duke doing!
Tim doesn’t hold grudges. He catalogues the harm, sure. Stores it away like all the other thousand hurts in neatly labeled boxes at the back of his mind. But he doesn’t hold onto it. Not the way people expect. Not in a way that ever slows him down. If anything, he moves on too fast—sidesteps apologies, lets things go that should’ve been confronted, and shrugs off betrayals like they’re just another Wednesday in Gotham.
He’s always had too much else to carry. He doesn’t have the luxury of resentment.
But Duke does.
Duke sees the way people brush Tim off. How they forget he’s in the room until they need his brain. He watches the way everyone trusts Tim with their secrets, their wounds, their messes—but never checks in on what Tim’s carrying in return.
He’s seen it more than once: Tim offering help, being ignored, then picking up the pieces anyway after it all falls apart. Quiet. Efficient. Unthanked.
And every time someone forgets Tim’s birthday? Every time someone speaks over him in the middle of a debrief? Every time someone says “oh, I didn’t mean it like that,” when Tim flinches from a too-harsh joke?
Duke files it away and holds the grudge for Tim.
Not out loud. Not dramatically. He doesn’t make a show of it, because this isn’t about vengeance—it’s about principle.
And sure, he knows Tim wouldn’t want him making a scene, so Duke doesn’t. But that doesn’t mean he lets it go. Not really.
He’ll hum thoughtfully when someone who once ignored Tim’s intel ends up caught off guard in the field, and say, “Funny how that works out,” while already pulling up Tim’s original report to share. He’ll casually mention—mid-conversation, like it’s just a passing thought—that Tim covered that exact protocol two briefings ago, but no one seemed to care then. He’ll bring out timestamps, reports, and calendar invites with a quiet sort of satisfaction, not to humiliate anyone, just to let the truth speak for itself. Duke doesn’t twist the knife—he just hands them the one they dropped.
If someone forgets Tim’s birthday again, Duke will absolutely throw him a party the next day. Full-on streamers and a cake with “Tim Was Born And You Should Be Thankful” in frosting. With everyone in the room uncomfortably aware of what they forgot.
Because Duke is petty. Not cruel, not mean—but sharp. Surgical.
And it’s not about getting back at anyone. It’s about making sure the world learns not to overlook Tim Drake. Not if Duke has anything to say about it.
The thing is—Tim doesn’t even realize half the time. He just thinks Duke is being kind. He is. He’s also being loyal.
He’s not loud about it. He’s just... consistent. Quiet. Meticulous. Kind of like Tim, that way.
Because Tim won’t speak up for himself. Not really. But Duke will.
Every single time.

Just got hit real hard by a drive-by idea where Flashpoint doesn't happen and Dick just takes a few months off to chill (read: Donna shows up and drags him off to have adventures now that Bruce is back in town and everything seems status quo again)
And when he comes back it initially looks like that set up so many fandom fics have where Tim has been isolating himself / been left to his own means and only works with the others out of politeness.
And the moment Dick clocks that that's what the others think is happening, he can straight up feel the grey hairs trying to show up, because while he had phone calls with Tim (who seemed to be coping better with everything that went wrong in his life) and Damian (with whom Dick did not talk about anyone outside of Damian and, occasionally, Bruce, which was already hard enough on Dick without bringing the others in) he had also thought that things had sort of started settling back into what Dick used to think as normal before Bruce "died" on them.
Except Damian and Jason don't know how to pick up on that sort of thing, Cass is still doing her Hong Kong / Journey of Self Discovery Thing as far as anyone seems to know / Bruce is CLEARLY (to Dick and Alfred and absolutely no one else) still communicating with Tim because he's on an even keel but also he must have done something to piss off Tim because Tim is doing the Politely Co-Workers Thing at Bruce (with Alfred's approval and support so Bruce must have fucked up REAL BAD) and it's stressing Bruce out so much that Dick can practically see the tension lines heading to a breaking point in the man why is no one else seeing the tension lines.
Plus Barbara and Dick were still on not-so-great terms when Dick split from Gotham, so he's not had much luck talking to her and some desire to call her but not enough to actually call her a lot, just some, which hasn't made Babs less pissed at him, so he's not getting information on that side and of course if Barbara is pissed at him and Tim is pissed at Bruce and Dick wasn't around for Tim to bitch about Bruce in person (and Tim would NEVER on a phone line, not even a secure one) then Dick is 1000% sure that Tim and Barbara have been having a shared and supportive bitch fest for however many weeks / months Dick was away that has just solidified them in a block of their own.
All of which means that Dick's little brother has been left unbothered, unnoogied and unsupervised for all the time Dick was away and like, sure, some people would think Dick would feel horrible for that and want to octopus-grab him and cuddle him but those people would be wrong because Dick is now honestly terrified to find out WHAT Tim has been up to without supervision and limits.
Between YJ, his civilian friends, his other friends in the superhero community, whatever new people Tim for sure rustled up, the lack of supervision on who Tim teams up with and for what, all the villain-frenemies he might have decided it was worth cooperating with, Tim being pissed at Bruce enough to keep a physical distance if not a communication distance...
And then, just as it is hitting Dick that, of course just keeping track on the phone was a bad idea to begin with why did he think that was a good idea and that what with Barbara and Tim in agreement and both Tim and Barbara at odds with Bruce and Alfred firmly entrenched in his usual If-Tim-Is-Handling-Master-Bruce-I-Will-Not-Hear-A-Thing-Against-The-Lad british politeness artillery position, this means that no one who would not enable him in the Wrong And Not Dick Approved Ways has been actually keeping as close track of Tim as he should have been kept track of (because *will smith hands memes* TIM!) ...
... Red Robin swings by, Azrael in tow, clearly going after Lynx.
And it's not that new Azrael that they had, which was still an Azrael but wasn't the Worst of the Azraels.
It's fucking Jean Paul Valley, who is supposed to be dead and clearly did not have the goddamn grace to decide to stay dead.
Dick, internally while outwardly having a BSOD moment: Tim. Tim you had just told Dick you were going to check out a couple of leads tonight. Tim why are you swinging from rooftops with JPV in tow. Tim why is JPV ALIVE. Why did you NOT tell Dick about it, TIM. TIM.
#dc comics#plotbunnies released into the wild#dick grayson#tim drake#Tim was totally normal about you bailing out to go spend time with the Titans Dick#totally did not take any advantage of it#why would he tell you about JPV Dick it is not good for your blood pressure if he does#why would he tell you that Bruce was a dick to him after the Boomerang thing if you'd left town Dick and were trying to recover#Tim is a big boy who can handle himself#still chewing a bit on a convo I head with zahri melitor about Dick having to realize he's gonna have to be the one who explains to Jason#and Damian how things actually work in the family during the usual status quo#and that Tim working with you does not mean Tim trusting you at all if anything Dick can see the way Tim is working with them#and it's all red flags to Dick

Headcanon that bludhaven hates heroes with a flaming passion bc theyre just cops in tights but love Nightwing and therefore vehemently deny his hero status to anyone and everyone.
Like there is no official Nightwing merch bc he’s a criminal he’s committing a crime okay vigilante justice is in fact not legal and he’s not TECHNICALLY on the justice league and he’s NOT TECHNICALLY the leader of the titans anymore. But there are about 400 different Etsy stores that make hoodies, crop tops, joggers, sweats, sunglasses, bracelets, t shirts with nightwings logo or some art of him on them.
Like they love this guy and will get into beef with any Gotham national who tries to claim Nightwing is THEIR hero.
1) hes not a hero he’s a criminal fuck you
2) you have a hero and just bc he’s shit at his job and needs our guy (who is NOT a hero) to help him sometimes doesn’t MEAN SHIT
people are walking around with tiny v shaped blue tattoos or embroidered on clothing but again NOT A HERO BLUDHAVEN DOESNT DO HEROS
There are coffee shops with bad nightwing pun names nightbird, beanwing, nightwinging it and so on
Every third piece of graffiti is this man’s logo
Every sandwich place or fast food chain has a ‘secret menu item’ that’s not actually secret bc everyone orders it and it’s just one of their normal items dyed blue (sodas, desserts, burger buns, condiments so on) some places will sell wings fried in blue panko bread crumbs and call them them ‘nightwings’ ofc these are ALL off the menu you can’t see these items and if you try to order them out of the city you get weird looks.
Superman goes on tv and says Nightwing is one of his favorite hero’s and bludhaven riots. wtf nightwing is your favorite hero you fuckin poser
1) nightwing isn’t a hero he’s a criminal so back off
2) he’s ours you and your frou frou fancy city that hasn’t been nuked by a sentient pile of radiation can fuck RIGHT off
Naturally the only person in bludhaven who is unaware of this is Dick Grayson bc tbh this man is too busy to give a fuck about what his city thinks of him. They trust him to get shit done. Good that’s all he needs okay he has 22 reports he needs to log he’s busy.
Tim Drake professional nightwing fanboy however is fucking furious about this because.
A) dick was a GOTHAM hero FIRST and bludhaven can suck it
B) fuck you nightwing isn’t just a a hero he’s THE HERO and the BEST hero and don’t be rude bc you have a complex
C) all of the cool nightwing merch only ships around bludhaven so has to get it ordered there and it’s just a hassle and he’d pay double he swears just let him get it delivered to where he is please Everytime he stops by bludhaven he leaves with 10 new pieces of nightwing merch and bc he has so much. Damian doesn’t think he notices when some of his doubles mysteriously go missing. He does.
D) since they are anti hero they are firmly unhelpful whenever he or Steph show up bc a case has lead them to the city
The one plus side was watching Jason Todd having a mental breakdown bc apparently in bludhaven redhood counts as a hero and is therefore hated.
“Yous worked with the bat yous a hero thems the rules”
“I KILL PEOPLE”
“Yeah so do cops and people always call them heroes”
“Okay but I kill people to protect the general public I put down scum”
“Cops say they do that too”
“I- okay you know what I’m a hero fine okay. Why isn’t nightwing a hero”
“Vigilante justice is a crime”
“I’m documentably worse than a vigilante”
“But you have worked with the bat”
“For money yeah”
“See you even get paid, face it you’re a hero which means you suck”
“You realize Nightwing has worked with the bat right like way more than I have”
“Listen that ain’t his fault okay, the bats incompetent and so are the rest to you idiots. He’s a nice guy and a good neighbor don’t mean he’s a hero”
“I- what the fuck is in this cities water”
“I don’t fuckin know but it’s prolly better than whatever gothams got in its harbor”
“I- yeah you’re probably right”
#dick grayson#nightwing#batman#jason todd#batfam#tim drake#bruce wayne#comics#damian wayne#batfamily#Tim fanboy Drake despairs#dick and jason#fanon#dc fanon#firmly believe they will bring up the kill order and say it makes sense while rocking a Nightwing hoodie#like yeah he’s a criminal beating people up ofc there would be a kill order out on him#a bludhaven native would say while sipping on their Nightwing blue smoothie in a nightwing hoodie#with headphones painted with the Nightwing logo#knowing full well#they’d stash him in their house in a millisecond#nightwing acrylic nail set freshly done#Jason Todd is not a cop#the folks in bludhaven just have weird ideas about life

Younger Years Pt. 2
Part 1
Summary: Damian gets temp de-aged to 6yrs old; cue him asking where his twin is. This is how everyone finds out about Danny's existence Word Count: 1608
If anyone were to ask how he reacted when Damian jumped from the bed to attack him, Dick would say that he reacted exactly as a vigilante who’s been on the job for years now would. Ask anyone else who was there to witness it though and you’d get a much different story of events.
"Aaaahhh!" Both Dick and Damian slam onto the ground. Damian hits don't pack as much of a punch as they normally would, but that doesn't mean they're not precise when hitting a body's weak spots. "Dam- oof, Damian! It’s okay, you're safe! I'm your brother!"
That did not have the desired effect he wished it did on the smaller boy; if anything Damian seemed to grow angrier at the mention of them being brothers. "Liar!"
The others must have heard the commotion because the next moment the med bay door is being thrown open with everyone rushing in. Jason is the first one to get to them, and when he does he's quick to grab Damian. He holds the furiously kicking child to his chest while pinning Damian's arms to his side.
"Dick, you alright?" Duke is kneeling by his side with a comforting hand on his shoulder as he helps Dick sit up. "Baby Damian really caught you off guard, huh?"
Somewhere in the midst of all the chaos happening Dick hears the sound of a camera click, and he can't help but smile. Another photo down!
"Damian," Bruce's voice is firm as he says, "You need to calm down; no one here is going to hurt you."
That of course does nothing to calm the child who just woke up with strangers surrounding him. "Since when has telling someone to calm down ever worked?" Tim questions as he watches everything from the doorway.
Bruce sends a slight glare Tim's way before directing his attention back to his youngest child, "Chum, my name is Bruce Wayne, do you know who I am?"
"No, but I know that you've somehow managed to take me hostage," Damian growls out. He's stopped struggling in Jason's arms, and seems to be analyzing them all with a hard gaze. "Who are you working for?"
"Do you know about Batman?" Bruce counter questions instead of giving any kind of answer.
"I might; is he the one behind this?" Damian for the first time looks unsure about what's happening,
Jason gives a little amused huff, "That is Batman, demon brat."
"Surely not!" Damian judgmentally looks Bruce up and down, "Batman is definitely taller than him."
That of course got a laugh from everyone, and even Bruce had an amused smile on his face as he thought about how Damian said something similar when meeting him for the first time.
"And do you know who Batman is when it comes to you?" Dick asks after a few seconds. It's clear at this point that Bruce is trying to see if Damian has been told who his father is. If they can establish that relationship now it might save them all from anymore attacks; at least for the rest of the night.
Instead of answering Damian tucks his chin to his chest and glares at the ground. What's really shocking though is how his body goes almost limp. It seems to shock Jason as well because his tight grip even loosen, and changes to a more gentle hold.
Asking questions probably isn't going to get the baby assassin to trust Dick thinks to himself; not with how his youngest brother was raised. They're going to have to try something else, "Hey Dami, how about we-"
Before he can continue though Dick is cut off by a loud smacking sound. Damian had very suddenly thrown his head back so that it would hit Jason square in the face. He wouldn't be surprised if it even broke Jason's nose from the sound.
With Jason's grip already loose it doesn't take a lot of effort for Damian to escape his grasp, and make a run for the door. Tim, who was far more focused on his camera, didn’t even have a second to properly react before he was being knocked out of the way. Allowing the young child access to the whole cave.
"Motherfu-" Jason cuts himself off with a groan before running towards the door as well, "You really let him run right past you, Timbo?"
"You're the one who let him go!"
"He broke my nose!"
"Guys!" Duke shouts as he runs past the two of them, "let's focus on finding Damian before fighting with each other!"
That kicked everyone into gear as soon all of them were now trying to find the escapee who had seemingly disappeared. The only thing they can hope for right now is that he doesn't find a weapon of any kind.
Everyone has split off in different areas to search, and taking the situation more seriously knowing that the kid could pop out of anywhere and attack them. It's not until after 20 mins of searching that Dick decides to just start speaking, hoping that he can somehow convince him to come out of hiding at the very least.
"Damian, I know that you know Batman is your father, and now you know that Bruce," He gestures to where the older man is standing, "is Batman; your father! I swear you are safe here."
The cave is covered in silence as everyone waits for a response to come. Just as it looks like nothing will happen a slight but deliberate sound comes from the side of where he is.
"Damia-"
"Silence." Damian speaks forward enough to be seen, but making sure to stand out of reach, "Did Mother set this test up? Grandfather? Either way I'm not falling for it. If you wanted to make this more convincing you should have included my brother."
Dick felt a pain in his chest at that word. Brother? Did Damian really have a brother while at the league? Is he talking about a sort of battle brother, or did Talia have another kid? Is it Bruce's kid? Taking a glance to where Bruce is he sees that the man must be having the same thoughts as his face sits somewhere between anger and grief.
"You have a brother!?" Tim is the one that finally asks the question on everyone's mind.
"There is no need to continue this act; I've already figured out that this isn't real."
"Like the same mom, same dad type of brother?" Duke even looks aghast at the revelation of a second possible child of Bruce.
Damian only looks more annoyed at each question, but answers anyway in a tone that makes it clear that he thinks the answer is obvious, "Tt of course. That tends to be the case with twins after all."
Damian has a twin?
The de-aged child in front of him could lie about a lot of things right now to get an advantage in this situation, but what advantage does lying about a twin get him? Damian seems so sure that all of this is a test from the league. There is no way he could lie about something like this.
Damian is a twin.
As much as Dick wished it wasn’t true he couldn’t lie to himself about this. Between the ages of 6 and 10 something must have happened to the other boy. He’d bet money that whatever it was made Talia bring Damian to the manor. Why did she or Damian never say anything? Was his brother even given the chance to mourn the loss of his brother?
Damian had a twin.
"Jason, you were with the league for a while, did Damian really have a twin?" Tim whispers quietly to the man standing next to him.
"I wasn't exactly in the right state of mind when I was there, and even then I never saw the brat or brats I suppose."
"Enough!" Damian suddenly slams a foot onto the ground clearly done with everyone around him whispering, "the test is done, and I'm ready to return back to the compound."
Tim now turns to Bruce with nothing but shock still on his face, "I think it'd be easier to just explain the truth to him. Otherwise this is what the next couple days are going to be like.”
"The baby assassin is just going to keep attacking us and trying to escape otherwise." Jason adds on as well as he takes a seat at the center table. “I for one would like to keep the demon spawn close by because I’ve got some questions he’s going to need to answer ASAP when he’s normal again.”
Bruce seems to finally snap out of his trance and slowly starts to make his way to Damian. Once he's just out of reach of his son he kneels down so that he's much closer to Damian's current height. "Son, this isn't a test, and I am your father.”
"You are a liar; my father wouldn't leave Danyal behind!"
No one was surprised this time when Damian sprung forward to attack Bruce. In the end Alfred had to give him a light sedative to calm him down enough to be laid back down on the med bay bed. Duke even went upstairs, and brought Alfred the cat down to sleep in the boy's lap. Unsurprisingly, that cat still loves him when he's this small.
For now they can only hope that things will be calmer when Damian wakes up again.
The cave after that was met with suffocating silence as there was only one thought in everyone's head.
"What happened to Danyal?"

#anyways trust me when i say that none of this is meant in a negative way because this is what i Like about them lmao
#forever thinking of the M/F fight where dick expects that tim will go alone with his line of thinking just because he says so #and is shocked when tim doesn't and instead has his own thoughts and feelings abt the matter #and babs has to tell him that tim isn't him & had a fundamentally different experience to him
#it's like hmmm very realistic to me #the way they do this to each other in a way that almost is depersonalizing but like isn't actually #it's more just that they understand each other so well most of the time that it's easy to forget that they're their own person #with their own thoughts and feelings
#like hm. there is something very realistically siblings about it in that #older siblings do tend to try and dominate the relationship with their thoughts and feelings because #their first memories are of being expected to lead their sibling and the sibling usually comes at a time when the older sib is v possessive #so the older sibling conceives the younger sibling as belonging to them and being kind of a hm extension of them vs their own person
#meanwhile the younger sibling has no knowledge of a life where the older sibling doesn't exist #and the younger sibling's experience is that of observation of the older sibling from basically the very first day of life #so the younger sibling will often see and perceive the older sibling in very interesting ways #they're always learning something with thay observation good or bad #and thus probably develop more instrinsic understanding than even the parents do #and conflict comes because each is their own person but it's hard to see them that way sometimes
#anyways there's also another thread where for dick it's hard to conceptualize tim's family of origin as real compared to them #but that's like mainly headcanon just know i'm right and it's interesting (tags via @scintillyyy)
can you really talk about tim's tendency to idolize and place dick on a pedestal and his semi-entitlement to understanding dick without also talking about dick's tendency to project his own feelings and insecurities onto tim and also his semi-entitlement to his right to try and micromanage how tim should feel and react about things. i, personally, cannot.
#YESSSSSS#I've been rotating this in my head endlessly it's one of my favorite things ever about their relationship#there's this draft post I'd been working on a while ago about this bit:#'dick's tendency to project his own feelings and insecurities onto tim'#'and also his semi-entitlement to his right to try and micromanage how tim should feel and react about things'#specifically in relation to their early conflict in Red Robin and how it mirrors Resurrection#but yes also M/F!#dick's struggles when tim asserts himself with views that don't align with dick's (?!?!)#what do you MEAN his little brother - his tag-along shadow and sometime reflection - doesn't see their father exactly the same way he does?#what do you MEAN his relationship to robin and growing into adulthood is different from dick's own experiences and needs at that age?#what do you MEAN he's rejecting dick's sympathy and advice on grieving and moving on and demanding dick let him go#right when dick needs him close and when he knows it would be better for TIM to stay close#but in both Resurrection and RR Dick makes the right call after wrestling with himself and lets Tim make his own choices!#because it's his life! and Dick does respect and trust him!#even when all his instincts are screaming at him to take care of his little brother by making the RIGHT choices FOR him#man I love their brotherisms so much#Dick and Tim#Dick Grayson#Tim Drake#dcu#DC meta#meta#Tim Drake meta#Dick Grayson meta#batfam

Batboys Headcanons - When They’re Jealous
Dick Grayson
He’s not one to get jealous easily. You really gotta work it outta him.
“Who flirted with you? Oh, weird. What? Why would I be mad? I trust you.”
Of course if someone flirted with you to get under his skin, he’d be pissed.
First of all, he doesn’t want you being used like that. You don’t deserve to be uncomfortable because someone else wants to get to him. Second of all, you’re his.
“So actually, that’s my partner you’re flirting with. Mine. Stop it.”
Jason Todd
Whoever decided to flirt with you did not understand what they were getting themselves into.
“I’m sorry, what happened, baby? Who said that?”
You regret telling him someone innocently flirted with you, thinking you were single.
He doesn’t care that it was innocent. You’re his. He wishes a slow and painful death to anyone who even thinks of getting with you. Needless to say, he’s very clingy after that.
“Acting different how? I just want to show you I love you… and show everyone else you’re mine.”
Tim Drake
Doesn’t know what to do with this feeling.
“Someone… flirted… with you… huh.”
He’s upset. Jealous. Possessive. But he doesn’t want to scare you off or make you think he doesn’t trust you. He does trust you, just not other people. Especially in Gotham.
Tim makes a point to go with you everywhere just so he can show people you’re his and protect you from creeps.
“You’re getting food? This late at night? …Well, hold on, let me put shoes on. What do you mean why? I’m going!”
Damian Wayne
Gives you the silent treatment, but doesn’t tell you why.
There’s a good chance he won’t even face you. Until you guess why he’s giving you the silent treatment.
He turns and ducks his head a bit in your direction, a bodily clue that you’ve guessed correctly.
Once you reassure him he doesn’t have to worry, he apologizes.
“I’m sorry, Habibti, I overreacted.”

“The monsters gone and your daddy here…”
Batboys as fathers
⸻
1. Jason Todd(ALLL girls, 2-4 girls)
• Protective but soft dad: Looks like he’d teach his kid how to hotwire a car (and maybe he does), but he’s the first to tear up during a school play.
• Reads bedtime stories with dramatic flair: Does all the voices, sometimes throws in a few expletives before quickly correcting himself.
• Rides or dies for his kid: Anyone bullies them? Jason shows up at school with the most terrifying “talk” a teacher or principal has ever had the misfortune of enduring.
• Teaches them practical skills early: Like street smarts, how to throw a punch, and the importance of carrying snacks.
• “If anyone hurts you, just tell Dad” vibes: Then he vanishes for a couple of hours. No one asks questions.
⸻
2. Dick Grayson(3 girls one boy)
• Golden retriever dad: Super involved, enthusiastic, and emotionally available.
• Dance party central: His kid knows every 80s and 90s pop hit. They have choreographed routines.
• Always has a band-aid, a snack, and dad jokes ready: And somehow manages to make even the worst day better.
• Takes a million pictures: Captures every moment — first step, first fall, even the tantrums.
• Teaches empathy and kindness first: Encourages emotional expression and gentle strength.
⸻
3. Tim Drake(2 boys)
• Anxious but dedicated: Googled “how to be a good dad” about 1,500 times.
• Coffee-fueled midnight cuddles: If the kid’s up late, Tim’s probably already awake working on something — but drops everything for them.
• Super into educational toys: Probably has flashcards and a toddler coding game by the time they’re three.
• A quiet anchor: His love is subtle but steady. He might not always know what to say, but his presence means everything.
• Raises a tiny, smart-mouthed mini-detective: And secretly loves it.
⸻
4. Damian Wayne(Twin dad, one of each)
• Surprisingly gentle (with his kid): Doesn’t trust most people with them and is always watching with eagle eyes.
• Teaches discipline, but cuddles in secret: Has a hard time being emotionally open but melts when his child hugs him first.
• Introduces them to animals early: His kid is on a first-name basis with most of the zoo. Also knows how to feed a bat properly by age five.
• Mini-me energy: His kid is probably as stubborn, blunt, and deadly smart as he is.
• Takes parenting as a sacred duty: He’ll raise a warrior, yes, but one who understands mercy and love.
⸻
5. Bruce Wayne(girl)
• Trying his best: He has no idea what he’s doing, even though he has so many children
• Overprotective to the extreme: GPS tracker in their shoes, private security at the playground — you name it.
• Teaches with stories: Lessons often come through stories about “a friend” who was also a vigilante and made mistakes.
• Rare but meaningful vulnerability: Those quiet, late-night talks where Bruce opens up just a little are life-changing.
• Sees being a father as redemption: He’s determined to give his child the safety and love he never had.

A/N : You know what? I adore this request. It’s playful, it’s layered, and it’s begging for that “behind-closed-doors” tenderness.
Now be a good girl and sit back.. let me spoil you with this.. I'll do all four batboys, because you deserve the full banquet, not just the appetizer. Cuz
Batfam x silent, shy mischaracterized reader
Dick grayson - Jason todd - Tim Drake - Damian Wayne
Dick Grayson :
Dick is the kind of man who sees through the mask. People might call you "cold" or "weird," but the first time he sees your eyes soften just a bit when you think no one's looking? Hooked. Absolutely gone.
He'll be the sunshine to your clouded day.. always teasing you gently in public, trying to coax out even the smallest smile, but never pushing.
The first time you finally let loose in private and start talking a mile a minute about something random? He just stares at you with the stupidest, most lovestruck grin.
"Oh my god, babe, this is what you were hiding? I'm the luckiest man alive."
He keeps your wild side a sacred secret. He adores that it’s his privilege alone.
He’ll even tease you about it when you're out: leans in and whispers "Careful, angel. Don't let them see how fun you are, they'll all want a piece of you."
And behind closed doors? He's either the loudest participant in your chaos, or he’s watching you go off with heart eyes, nodding like a dork.
Jason Todd :
Oh, Jason gets it. People call him intimidating too. He notices you straight away because your quiet is not absence.. it’s presence.
People whisper about you, call you scary or “odd,” and Jason internally rolls his eyes like, amateurs. They don’t know brilliance when it’s right in front of them.
The first time you finally talk his ear off in private? He melts. He doesn’t say anything at first, just listens with that soft, crooked smirk that means he’s head over heels.
He’ll tease you about your "silent assassin" public image, claiming you’re his partner in crime.
"Yeah, she doesn’t say much. But if she does? Better listen, ‘cause it’s probably the most interesting thing you'll hear all day."
In private, he loves instigating your chaotic side: random debates over silly things, sneaky pranks, or just wild storytelling sessions where you’re the main character and he’s your loyal audience.
Protective and proud. He loves that only he gets to see your untamed side.
Tim Drake :
Oh, you had this detective hooked at "mysterious."
Tim sees the layers immediately. He’s intrigued by your quietness, and while others get uncomfortable, he feels right at home.
When you finally open up in private, his brain short-circuits.. in the best way possible.
He'll obsess (lovingly) over the way you light up talking about your interests. Expect soft smiles and attentive listening, like you’re explaining the secrets of the universe.
He also gets very soft when you get animated. He low-key records little audio memos when you go off on your rambles, not to share, just to listen to later when he’s working late at the tower.
"People think you’re quiet, but honestly? You’re louder than my thoughts, and that’s saying something."
He encourages your chaotic side gently, always ready to dive deep into your interests with you.
Bonus: If anyone dares mischaracterize you in front of him, he’ll subtly but savagely correct them with facts that leave them blinking.
Damian Wayne :
Damian adores the fact that others misunderstand you.. it means they’re too simple to deserve your energy.
He respects your silence like a fellow warrior respects the sharpness of a hidden blade.
The first time you explode with excitement in private? He’s stunned, but deeply honored.
He won’t say it out loud (he has pride, after all), but internally? Finally. She trusts me.
"Your restraint in public is admirable," he'll say with a proud little smirk, "but I prefer you like this."
He loves your chaotic side.. he calls it your "fire beneath the ice." He’ll even play along with your madness, acting all serious, but secretly enjoying every second.
Damian will cut anyone down with words if they dare to misread you. He does not tolerate disrespect towards you.
Also? He deeply respects that you only let your true self show to a chosen few. That exclusivity is something he understands all too well.
Anyway.. they are obsessed with the fact that the world sees you as an enigma, but they get the backstage access to your beautiful, chaotic soul. You’re their favorite contradiction.
To everyone else? Silent stormcloud.
To them? Thunder and lightning, baby. Loud, wild, glorious, and full of life.
A/N : my dear, you just described a dream dynamic.. truly.. and I hope you feel a little seen in this. Actually, I’ll tell you something bold: your "resting bitch face" and quiet aura? It's a power. The real fun is knowing not everyone deserves to see your wild heart. But the ones who do? Oh, they’ll never get enough of you.

Sentient Gotham
- Bruce regularly chats w her. Like, full blown conversations. He can see a physical manifestation of her like she’s right in front of him, but completely invisible to everyone else
- Zatanna does not believe him. She’s Gotham born and bred and a powerful magician, but she cannot sense a living breathing Gotham the way Bruce claims he can
- Constantine does believe him, but it’s mostly to spite Zatanna
- Gotham calls herself Bruce’s mom and frequently whines about him not calling her that
> “I had a mother. And a father. They’re both dead.” > “WHEN WILL YOU STOP BLAMING ME FOR THAT?!” > “When I’m convinced it’s not true.”
- Bruce’s kids also don’t believe him about the whole ‘I talk to Gotham’ thing for a long time and think he’s either lost his mind, he’s schizophrenic, or that he’s fucking w them
- they do eventually see and speak to her themselves
- Jason first sees her right before his death, which was an incredibly difficult task for her. It’s a combination of reasons. 1) like Bruce, Jason is a Gotham City native and has deep ties to the city, 2) he has deep ties to Bruce, 3) she was also there to comfort Bruce because she knew he wouldn’t be fast enough. But Jason sees this gorgeous woman who cradles his cheek and murmurs soft words to him that he’ll only end up remembering many years later
> “Your father loves you. He tried. So please don’t hate him. It’s my fault, not his.”
- Bruce frequently wonders why it’s him who can see her and no one else, to which she always just says it’s because he’s her son
- Bruce’s connection to Gotham…changes him. He is human, at least…mostly. But there’s an otherworldliness to him that grows over the years which he’s stupidly oblivious to for a very long time
- Gotham has beef w Alfred purely because he’s British
> “I could’ve raised you better than that man!” > “I do not tolerate disrespect for Alfred.” > whining, “But babyyyyyy. He’s an outsider!”
- she adores Bruce’s kids and frequently whines about how they don’t believe she’s real. But at the same time, Bruce is her absolute beloved
- after Jason’s death, she’s the one who basically sends Tim Bruce’s way to stop his self destructive behavior. Tim had been taking pictures of Batman and Robin for a while, but Gotham had fogged over his mind just a little bit to prevent him from putting the pieces together about their identity. When she stops, it finally clicks for Tim and it’s what leads him to becoming Robin
- the kids all have their moment when they finally can see and speak to her. It happens at different times, but the important reason as to why they’re able to do so is due to their relationship to Bruce and the length of time they’ve been around him. It comes at the moment where they’ve reached optimal and absolute trust in Bruce
- Bruce does actually call her ‘mom’, but it happened once and she will never let him forget it
> Bruce getting worked up during a conversation w Gotham in front of Dick and Tim > “Dick….who is he talking to?” > “You don’t want to know.” > “My mom won’t stop badgering me- No. No. I didn’t say that. I didn’t call you that! You can’t prove anything!”
- Gotham comforts Bruce often when he feels like he’s not enough. His failures weigh heavy in his heart, but she’s always there to talk him through it
> “Why me? Why am I the one you picked? I’m not enough. I never will be.” > “You are and you always will be. Bruce, you do so much for this city. For me. For your family.” > “It’s not enough.” > “You are only mostly human, Bruce Wayne. You have done things no one else could ever hope to do. If any one else were in your position, they would not have nearly enough strength as you do.”
- several months later, after Bruce is just idly going over case files, he remembers the ‘mostly human’ part of what Gotham said to him. He’d glossed over it before in his depressive spiral, but now he’s like !?
> “Gotham….” > “Yes, my dear?” > “‘Mostly human’. Care to explain what that means?” > awkward laugh, “Uh…..” > “Gotham.” > “I didn’t do it on purpose! I had no control!” > “Gotham.”
- order of who sees Gotham:
Bruce (obviously)
Jason (first time)
Tim
Duke
Jason (second time)
Steph
Dick
Cass
Damian
- the last three take a while but mostly because they’re not Gotham natives. Dick’s a little bitter about it because he practically spent his entire life in Gotham
> “You’re a traitor.” > “WHAT DID I DO?” > disgust, “Blüdhaven.” > “Oh. Whoops.”
- While Gotham is Bruce’s #1 Supporter™️, she is at times critical of his behavior and decisions. Particularly about things that damage his relationship w loved ones and things that he chooses to do in order to hurt himself
- she finds ‘Brucie’ to be distasteful
> “I didn’t raise you to be a whore.” > “You didn’t raise me to begin with.” > “STOP DENYING ME PARENTAL RIGHTS!”
- Gotham is, obviously, restricted to only appear within Gotham City’s borders. She’s only able to break through that restriction a handful of times, w the first being when Jason dies. There are a few other instances and she’s popped up on the Watchtower and jumpscared Bruce by accident. The JL were very confused and incredibly amused
- She’s able to take on the form of anyone, but sticks to a unique appearance of a woman w long black hair and pale skin. Her eyes are white and she’s typically dressed in a suit
> young Bruce, in awe, “You kind of look like me if I were cooler.” > “You’re plenty cool, Bruce.” > adult Bruce, tired, “Why are you in a suit?” > “Because I look cool, Bruce. You said so yourself.” > “I was ten!”
- she once offered to take on the appearance of his mother and Bruce shot it down so fast. She never brought it up again
- when Clark found out about her, he believed Bruce immediately. He’s the only one Bruce ever told who believed him right off the bat
> “You…don’t think I’m insane?” > “I do.” > “Then why would you lie and say you believe me?” > “Because I do. You’re insane about a lot of things, Bruce. But you sounded too serious when you told me about this, so why would I ever think you’re lying?”
- Gotham begrudgingly likes Clark
> “You hate Alfred for being an outsider, but Clark is in your good graces?” > “He’s an alien. It’s different.” > “He’s also from Metropolis.” > “Shhhhhh, don’t remind me. I’m trying to be blissfully ignorant.”

Dubble Life 14 (Batfam x reader x ACTSV)
Summary: No matter how much you think you know yourself, you seem to still not understand why you do the things you do.
Part 13,
When you wake up, things felt, more tense. Bruce was stricter on not letting you out on certain hours. Even Alfred wouldn't let you slip out the door without him coming along. Dick clung onto you, kept trying to do everything for you till he had to go back to Bludhaven. Damian was weirdly distant. Not cold, just Distant. Tim seemed take over what Dick was doing to you, just a lot less clingy. Helping you more than usual, even when he was clearly tired.
And Jason?
He was pushing your damn buttons.
"You should stop."
"Huh?"
You stare at the older man with confusion. You two stood in an abandoned building. You were in a spider suit that was darker to blend within the dark. Jason had just taken care of a few thugs just as you finished throwing an anomaly into a portal to the Spider Society HQ.
"This thing with Alchemax, I can handle the fighting, and you can-"
"Whatever bullshit your trying to say. Spit it out. Don't beat around the bush." You cut Jason off, you didn't have to take your mask off for Jason to know you were getting pissed off already.
". . . It's getting dangerous."
The moment Jason said those words you immediately throw your hands in the air while letting out a scoff of disbelief.
"You gotta be kidding me. Are you serious right now?"
"Just hear me out God damn it!" Jason wasn't going to let you just brush him off anymore.
"Joker, Scarecrow and all those other psychos are out now. Trust me when I say your screwed if you run into any of them, doesn't matter if you're meta."
You had your back faced to Jason. Clearly frustrated and upset of this topic. Jason lets out a sigh and shook his head. Before speaking a little more softly
"Come on kid, you haven't even talked about what happened with the fear gas."
". . . That doesn't matter-"
"Yes, it does! Whatever is going on up there-" Jason points to his head; "Will affect your insect ass out here."
". . . Spiders aren't insects."
"Oh, for fucks sakes You know what I mean!" Jason lets out a frustrated sigh.
"Just wait till those psychos are put back in Arkham. . . Please?" Jason walks closer to you. But you walked to an open window to jump out. Before doing so you spoke one last time.
"Fine."
Jason felt slightly relived once you agreed, watching you jump out of the window and swing up to a building.
Miles was working on a new invention, the upbeat music you put on faintly in the background. Miles puts a screwdriver in his mouth as he uses both hands to connect the wires on his invention. But he pauses as he felt a pair of eyes on him. He slowly turns his head to see you on his bed, a book in hand, just staring at him with a small smile.
"What?" He gave you a look of confusion. Your brow quirks up at his confrontation "Hm?"
"You're staring at me with that creepy smile of yours." Miles takes the screwdriver out of his mouth and waves it around as he spoke. You gave a fake offended gasp.
"Exuuusse me??" Your hand now on your chest, exaggerating the feeling of offence. You expected some form of amusement from Miles, but his mind seemed to be elsewhere
You tilt your head "Hey, space boy, what's got you so distracted, I come here to spend time with you and you're not even yapping about your usual nerdy stuff." You spoke in a joking manner, but there was a hint of concern.
Miles stayed silent for a moment. Your playful demeanor falters as you see that he's bothered about something. But he doesn't want to talk about it. But you know it was about you.
You sighed as you scoot closer to the edge of the bed where Miles sat.
"Your upset." You nudged his shoulder with your own. His silence only confirms your suspicion. After a few moments Miles finally spoke up.
"Me and Uncle Aaron found out who was responsible for the explosion at the bridge. The one that got your mother killed. . ."
You paused at the last sentance.
"Oh . . ."
"It was Kingpin."
You hum and nod. "I see. . . he's in prison right now, right? He won't hurt anyone else for a long awhile." You rub his shoulder to reassure him. But this only angered him.
"Why are you so calm!?" He brushed your hand off and let out a huff of annoyance as he stood up from the bed with his back faced to you. Your brows furrowed at his sudden burst of anger.
"Miles-"
"It doesn't matter that he's in jail now. He's going to get out. He has the money, Has the connections. No matter what we do they always come back and they hurt more people!" His frustration on the situation felt, familiar. You had the same feeling once.
"Miles. . ."
He ignores your first warning he goes on. "What's the use of fighting crime when they just end up killing more people!? Why- why can't we kill people like Kingpin!?"
"Miles Gonzalo Morales! ¡Ya es suficiente de ti!" Your stern voice almost booming. Silence falls upon the room. Miles, still upset spoke again.
"He killed your mother."
You were not having his attitude today.
"Do not use her death as an excuse! you know killing has been and never will be an option for us. It makes us no better than them."
Both of you were angry. Angry at each other, at the world. Just two angry teens in a room.
The disagreement with Miles dragged. The two of you didn't speak to each other for a few days, and you were agitated to get back out on patrol feeling Alchemax is up to something and the longer you wait the worse things will get.
You were able to slip away from a nagging Alfred. You made it past a very sleep deprived Tim who usually , once you made it through the doors of the manor you were met with a surprising view of Ms. Dean walking up the stairs to the doors.
"Mrs. Dean! What are you doing here?" Your brow quirked up in confusion and a little curious. "Aw, do you miss me? we just had a session two days ago." You spoke in a joking tone, but Mrs. Dean was not amused.
"I'm actually here to, discuses a few more things with you."
You sighed, you walked up closer to the older woman, circling her.
"And I'm assuming Bruce is making you do house calls now?" Your tone uninterested on whatever Bruce is trying to get out from you. Whatever it is. You must admit, the man is more insistent than you imagined.
"Actually, I'm here on my own accorded. I was hoping we could talk, off the records of course."
Mrs. Deans words caused you to gain interest.
"Seriously?" You gave the woman a look of surprise mixed with suspicion. Mrs. Dean nods "Seriously."
You don't sense any interior motive. At the moment. So, you agreed. The two of you going into Gotham city and stopped at a bat-burger place.
Mrs. Dean watched you with a blank expression as you devoured your burger.
"Mmm, these are, okay. I honestly like the burgers back in New York." You say this while your tray is literally empty.
"So, what did you want to chat about. My childhood? any daddy issues you assume I have? oh oh! trust issues. Yes, I remember you said that was one of my problems, no?" You of course were acting sort of passive aggressive; you have just been so frustrated with the recent events that it was getting harder to be or even act positive.
And Ms. Dean saw this, her own daughters show this sort of attitude when keeping in their anger for too long.
"Actually, I just wanted to see how you were doing."
You gave the older woman a look of confusion and slight suspicion.
"Ms. Dean-"
"Please, call me Alice." Ms. Dean- Alice insisted.
You stayed silent for a moment before letting out a small scoff of amusement. "Alright, Alice. Is this something you normally do with your clients? or am I just, special."
"Just think of this as a friendly meet up."
You almost scoffed
"Come on, Alice. What is this really about?"
Alice inhaled deeply. Seeming to almost bracing herself before speaking.
"I just- I don't understand why you didn't confront me about the camera. You knew the whole time. Yet, you didn't say anything for weeks." The older woman was clearly stressed on this topic. Which made you smirk in amusement as you just shrugged.
"You're the therapist, you tell me."
Alice's eyes narrowed, sighing as she leans into her seat.
"You weren't completely lying in our sessions. . . You told the truth. Half of the time. You're like an open book, but in a whole different, complex language." Alice glanced up to see your invested into this conversation. Curiosity in your eyes as you leaned into the table that kept the distance between you two.
"And because of that, you assume no one will take the time to truly understand you. But when someone actually does take the time to try and understand you. You panic. And you change yourself to . . ." Alice stops. She doesn't stop because she came to an understanding of something. Quite the opposite. She doesn't know why you do it.
You sighed, slightly disappointed. "You almost nailed it. Your pretty scary actually, haha!" You laughed.
". . . I'm scared. I change myself because I'm scared." Your cocky facade fades, just a little. Still present but fades enough to shock Alice to an extent.
"Why?"
"Donno. . . was kinda hoping you'd figure that out for me."
Silence falls between you two. One thing is for sure, your not paying for the food.

summary: Your mom—Wonder Woman—just dropped you off at Wayne Manor like a kid because she apparently couldn’t find a “suitable babysitter.” Never mind that you’re a fully grown adult and more than capable of taking care of yourself. Now you’re stuck in a mansion full of brooding vigilantes, chaotic adopted siblings, and a butler who’s already silently judging your life choices.
You survived battles, monsters, and Olympian family drama—but can you survive living with the Batfamily?
word count: ???
pairing/s: platonic!damian x reader (definite, set in stone) and then i’m not sure maybe dick x reader or jason x reader idk atm
warnings: basically none at the moment. damian being a bit of a demon brat. demigod!user.
authors note: um so hi. i’m back! probably. this might be a new sort of fic if anyone is interested.. like just chaos and perhaps a romantic pairing.. i will actually work on the peraltiago fic at some point but life has been HECTIC.
find chapter one here!
WAYNE Manor looms ahead, all gothic spires and looming stone, like something out of a horror novel rather than a billionaire’s estate. You shift the strap of your duffel bag, inhaling deeply. The air here is thick with old books, expensive wood polish, and—oddly enough—gunpowder. Fitting, considering the people inside.
The massive doors swing open before you can knock, revealing Alfred, ever the picture of poise. His expression is unreadable, but there’s warmth in his voice. “Miss. Welcome to Wayne Manor.”
You nod. “Thanks.”
Inside, the house is even grander. High ceilings, walls lined with paintings older than some civilizations, and a staircase that looks like it was built for dramatic entrances.
Bruce is already there, waiting near the banister like some brooding gargoyle. Arms crossed. Stance firm. His usual intimidation tactics, but you’ve faced literal gods.
“You’ll be staying in the east wing,” he says. “Alfred will show you to your room.”
You raise a brow. “No speech? No ‘my house, my rules’?”
He exhales sharply. “You already know the rules. You’re not a guest—you’re an ally.”
Which is Bat-speak for I trust you, but I’ll still be watching you like a hawk.
Then, Chaos.
Dick is the first to approach, all bright smiles and easy warmth. “Hey! Glad you’re here.” He pulls you into a quick one-armed hug before you can react. “Don’t let the gloom and doom fool you—this place is kinda fun once you settle in.”
Jason, leaning against the staircase railing, snorts. “Fun? Sure. If you like near-death experiences and questioning your mortality on a daily basis.”
Tim, slouched on the couch with a coffee in hand, barely looks up. “Give it a few days. You’ll either love it or start reconsidering your life choices.”
“Tt.” The noise comes from Damian, standing stiffly at the bottom of the stairs, arms crossed like a tiny warlord. His eyes flick over you, assessing, calculating. “You may be the daughter of an Amazon, but that does not mean you are above scrutiny.”
You smirk. “And you must be the infamous Damian. I’ve heard so much about you.”
His scowl deepens. “I highly doubt that.”
Dick slings an arm around your shoulders, grinning. “You’ll fit right in.”
You glance around at the absolute mess of personalities—grumpy billionaires, reckless vigilantes, over-caffeinated detectives, and a pint-sized assassin with a superiority complex.
Oh, this is going to be fun.

The Unreachable Heart of Tim Drake
Everyone wants to be Tim Drakes favorite, but not for the reasons you might think.
It’s not about Tim’s intelligence or his quick wit, though those things are undeniably impressive. It’s not about the way he somehow manages to hold the entire Bat-family together, even as they fray at the seams. It’s not even about the quiet warmth he offers, the small moments where he lets his guard down just enough to remind everyone that he’s human, too.
No.
They want to be his favorite because Tim gives and gives and gives—until there’s nothing left of him to take.
———
Bruce wants to be Tim’s favorite because it’s easier than admitting how badly he’s failed him.
Tim is a reminder of every mistake Bruce has made as a father, every time he turned his back or let Tim fall through the cracks. He wasn’t there when Tim needed him most, when Joker turned him into something unrecognizable, when Tim clawed his way back to himself alone. Bruce thinks if he could just be Tim’s favorite, maybe it would make up for all the times he wasn’t enough.
But it doesn’t.
It won’t.
And Bruce knows it.
———
Dick wants to be Tim’s favorite because he doesn’t know how to fix the distance between them.
It wasn’t always like this. Once upon a time, Dick was Tim’s hero, the person he looked up to more than anyone else. But things changed, and the closeness they shared shattered under the weight of misunderstandings and unspoken words. Dick misses the boy who idolized him, who trusted him without question.
He wants to be Tim’s favorite because he doesn’t know how to be his brother anymore.
———
Jason wants to be Tim’s favorite because he sees too much of himself in him.
He knows what it’s like to be the one everyone forgets, the one who carries the family’s burdens without complaint, even as the cracks start to show. Jason doesn’t want Tim to end up like him—bitter, angry, consumed by the feeling of being unwanted.
But Jason doesn’t know how to show that. So instead, he fights for Tim’s attention, picking at him, challenging him, pushing him away even as he tries to pull him closer.
He wants to be Tim’s favorite because it would mean Tim still has room in his heart for someone like him.
———-
Steph wants to be Tim’s favorite because hes the one she always chooses.
She loves him. God, she loves him so much it hurts sometimes. But Steph also knows Tim has walls he doesn’t let anyone past—not even her. He hides himself behind his work, behind his role as Red Robin, behind the pieces of himself he’s convinced no one else will ever understand.
She wants to be Tim’s favorite because she doesn’t know if he’s capable of letting her be anything more.
———
Cass wants to be Tim’s favorite because she sees what the others don’t.
Tim is tired. So tired he’s cracking beneath the surface, even if he’s too stubborn to show it. Cass sees the way he pushes himself, the way he gives and gives and gives until there’s nothing left. She wants to shield him from it, from the weight he insists on carrying alone.
But Tim doesn’t let her.
He doesn’t let anyone.
Cass wants to be his favorite because maybe then he’d let her take some of the weight.
———
Duke wants to be Tim’s favorite because Tim makes him feel like he belongs.
Duke is still finding his place in the Bat-family, still figuring out where he fits in this patchwork of broken people trying to make something whole. But Tim? Tim treats him like he’s always been part of it, like he’s not someone on the outside trying to find his way in.
He wants to be Tim’s favorite because Tim makes him feel seen in a way no one else does. And maybe, just maybe, being his favorite would mean Duke could give that feeling back to him.
———
Damian wants to be Tim’s favorite because he doesn’t know how else to be a brother.
It’s not like he’ll ever admit it. Not out loud. But there’s a part of Damian that craves Tim’s approval, that wants to hear Tim say he’s proud of him, that he trusts him.
But Tim is cautious around Damian, careful in a way that feels like distance. And Damian hates it—hates that no matter how much he’s changed, no matter how hard he tries, there’s still something fractured between them.
He wants to be Tim’s favorite because he doesn’t know how else to prove that he cares.
———
The truth is, everyone wants to be Tim Drake’s favorite because they know they aren’t.
Tim doesn’t play favorites.
He’s too careful for that, too afraid of what it might mean, what it might cost. He keeps himself at arm’s length, even from the people who love him most.
They want to be Tim’s favorite because maybe then he’d stop being so afraid to let them in.
But Tim doesn’t know how to do that.
And maybe he never will.

"Yes, my mom is a witch. Yes, my birth parents sold me to her. No, I do not hate her. She treats me like I'm her own son. Does that answer all your questions?"
Tim asked with crossed arms. Batman and his family recently discovered you, his witch mum, and now refuse to let it go. They've been badgering him all day.
"How does that work? How did Bruce adopt you if you already have a family?"
Dick was so confused. How did Tim hide you for so long? How did he sneak out when he lives with a family of detectives? Tim merely sighed and explained,
"My mom told me it's okay. She said I'm magically hers, so a sheet of paper means nothing. She knew my path would always lead me here, so she didn't stop me. She trusts that I will make good decisions for myself."
You had kissed his forehead that day and gave him a hug before telling him he's always your baby and you want him to follow the path he forges for himself.
"Can we meet her?"
Dick asked. He wanted to know more about Tim's secret mother figure. Why did Tim keep you from them?
Tim paused. He didn't know how good of an idea that would be. He loved you dearly, but you are introverted like him. He wouldn't want to meet the family, especially with how huge it got over the years, so why would you want to meet them? Tim conceded,
"I'll ask her, but she would have to come here. Her home is impossible to break into with all the wards and all the magic she poured into our home -- that's irrelevant. I'll ask if she wants to come over. Don't be surprised if she popped in during dinner."
With all that said, Tim was out the door, leaving the family with millions of questions. They knew they wouldn't be able to trail Tim without him knowing. You seemed impossible to reach anyway.
You seemed to ponder Tim's request for what feels like forever. You love your solitude, but you decided that you love Tim more. You asked him seriously,
"Do you want me to go or are they forcing you to ask?"
Tim considered his feelings for a moment. Does he want to keep you selfishly to himself, or does he want to share? He's not sure. He's positive you would hit it off with Bruce, and that might lead to you joining the family and eventually tying him to them permanently. He admits,
"I'm not sure. You'd love them, but I don't trust that you'll be treated with the respect you deserve."
Your gaze softened and you lightly kissed his cheek. You told him,
"Little dove, you do not have to force me on the family if you don't want to. I love you and you are the only one to make this decision."
He didn't like that you turned the decision onto him, but he should have expected as much. You hated making decisions. He decided after a couple of minutes,
"I... I want you to meet them."
You took his hand in yours and teleported both of you into the manor. Tim hugged you tightly the entire time it took to teleport. He loved you, but teleporting sucks to experience. It feels like reality itself warped like one of the circus mirrors and suddenly poof.
You're standing in the middle of dinner, like he told them you would do. Tim's hand was still in yours as you looked through the room. Your eyes finally landed on Alfred, and you walked over to him.
"Well, it's lovely to meet you. You must be Bruce."
You took Alfred's hand in yours and shook it with a kind smile. The kids all snickered at the offended Bruce. It's partially true that Alfred is a father figure, but ouch.
"Miss, master Bruce is at the head of the table."
You didn't seem embarrassed at all as you walked to Bruce with Tim trailing behind you.
"I'm sorry about my abrupt entrance. It's good to meet the part-time father to my little dove."
Bruce watched you carefully. You seem like a nice person. No wonder Tim turned out so kind.
You sat down with Tim on one side and Dick on the other side. You took a deep breath before saying,
"Ask your questions."
Tim gave you a shocked look. You evaded questions like the plague. Why is it so different now?
Well, it's different because your Timmy cares about them, and they would obviously have a lot more personal questions than questions from a stranger.
"How did you meet Tim?"
Dick asked at your side. You smiled and looked at Tim with soft eyes. You delved into the story,
"He must have been two or three when his parents found me in the forest outside my house. Everybody knows about the witch in the woods who grants wishes for a price."
You sighed. You hate your reputation, but there's nothing you can do about it. You continued,
"A couple appeared with a toddler. I originally thought they would ask for an illness to go away in their child, but instead they offered the toddler holding his mother's hand in exchange for riches."
You frowned. Tim knew you always get upset by the story and wrapped an arm around you protectively.
"I thought to myself. 'Why would anyone offer me their child?' But, I ultimately decided he would be better off with me, so I accepted. I took tiny Tim in my arms, and he melted into my arms. It seemed like he had never been hugged before me, and it broke my heart. The magical contract was signed, and the couple walked off child-free and rich."
All eyes turned to Tim. He told them a different story of his childhood, but what did they expect? For him to disclose, his parents abandoned him to a witch and subsequently was raised by said witch? Sure, there are crazier backstories, but that would look terrible from any angle. It would look like a kidnapping when it was really more like saving. You saved Tim from the pain of growing up in a loveless home. You save him from the pain of cold isolation. You raised him, praised him, and adored him. He was your child, no matter the DNA.
You didn't even want kids until Tim was in your arms. You became the mother all children deserve to have regardless of your lack of desire for children.
The story seemed to satisfy most of their major questions. Jason eventually asked,
"Why did you let him join us?"
You smiled and ruffled Tim's hair affectionately, who grumbled in a very disgruntled tone.
"This one loved Batman, and he thought he needed a Robin. I told him to follow his own path. He'll always be my son, both magically and in our hearts."
Bruce was beginning to like you. However, they were all a bit salty about the fact that none of them have a mother. Dick grinned and elbowed Bruce.
"That just means you have to give us a mother to make it even. Tim can't be the only one with a mom."
You laughed, but Tim looked like he was contemplating bringing you into a relationship with Bruce. Bruce asked,
"Would the magic transfer if you got married?"
You shook your head. You decided to be kind and elaborated,
"Tim is strictly mine for as long as I live according to the signed contract I made with his original parents."
Bruce didn't like that Tim isn't his son and never will be. You gave a contemplating hum. Technically, there is a way, but it would never happen. You weren't very interested in the second option. Still, you told him,
"Unless we married magically. Then we are tied together, and that means Tim would be tied to my husband indirectly. He would still have no real authority, but he'd have a small claim over him."
That caught Bruce's attention. He has a chance to keep Tim more permanently. He asked,
"What does it mean to marry magically? What's the difference?"
You quirked an eyebrow at him. Why was he so curious? You didn't have plans to marry. Then again, you didn't plan to have a child either. Sure, you've helped a few people with their fertility issues, but it was a joke to ask for their firstborn.
"We sign a contract that would tie our souls together. We could sign a legal document as well, but the magical contract must be signed for the claim to settle."
Tim whispered in your ear soft enough for only you to hear,
"Mom, will you marry Bruce? I want to be his son."
You straightened in your chair. You were startled by the request and asked back equally quietly,
"Are you sure? This is your soul, Tim, not just some flimsy legal document."
Tim nodded. He already figured he'd be part of the family, but he wanted to make it more permanent.
"I'm sure, mom."
You sighed softly in your spot. You were so weak for your Tim. You'd give anything to make him happy. You frowned before conceding,
"If you can convince him."
Tim kissed your forehead gratefully and began negotiating with Bruce and feeling out the situation. Dick took your hand in his and said to you light-heartedly,
"I'm gaining a mom after all."
And that is how the Batfamily gained Batmom. What a mess.

eyeless jack nsfw headcanons warnings : 18+ mdni, virgin!reader, control without cruelty, anatomy kink, praise kink, obsessive behavior

It’s your first time, and you’re trusting Jack? He doesn’t believe you at first—actually, he pretends he doesn’t hear you when you bring it up.
How could he even think of deflowering you, someone so pure and innocent?
It isn’t until about an hour later, when you finally work up the courage to bring it up again.
“I was waiting for you to make the first move… I didn’t want to scare you…” you mumble, sheepishly dragging your foot across the floor.
YOU? Scare HIM?
He can’t believe he’s made you wait so long. No, he has to make it up to you, you’re his and he should’ve known better. How could he neglect you like this?
Minutes later, you’re completely helpless—laid out flat on your back, Jack guiding you step by step, every instruction soft but firm.
He doesn’t rush. Every touch, every press of his gloved fingers feel calculated—but hungry. Like he’s starving, but too patient to eat all at once.
“Lie still.” You try, but your breathing is already unsteady. “You’re twitching,” he murmurs, fingers skimming along your ribs. “I haven’t even started.”
Touches. Everywhere. His hands wander like they’re mapping you—behind your knees, under your ribs, up your thighs with maddening slowness. He has a fascination with overlooked spots that make you twitch. Just to feel you squirm. He’ll find that one nerve cluster behind your ear and brush it over and over until you’re a whimpering mess. Fingers dipping under the hem of your clothes, grazing skin he’s already touched—only now softer, slower. Studying your reactions like they’re data points
“What’s this spot?” His voice is low, amused, like a scientist with a new specimen. You jolt when his thumb presses near your hip bone. “Sensitive? Hmm…” The pad of his glove circles the spot lazily. “Noted.”
Jack isn't mean intentionally—he's just... studying. Learning your every curve, dip and weakness.
“Does this feel better than before?” He asks, while his fingers make circular motions on your clit, one finger slowly pulsing in and out of your slit. “P-please, Jack, I've already come three tim—” He adds another finger before you can finish. ... Make that four.
Jack knows that you’ll never be able to experience this kind of pleasure with anyone else.
After all, no one’s more skilled than him when it comes to human anatomy—no one more in tune with your mind, your body, your needs. You just have to rely on him. Let him take care of you.
He’s quiet, but intense. He doesn’t speak unless he means it, and when he’s silent, the room is thick with tension. The stillness becomes its own kind of pressure, heightening every sensation. Your sounds fill the space instead—your breathing, your moans, the way your voice catches when he does something just right.
“You always sound this pretty, or is it just for me?” You try to stifle the next noise, embarrassed. His voice is low, coaxing. “Don’t hold back. I want to hear everything.”
Control without cruelty. He’s not harsh for the sake of it. He wants to push you, wants to take you apart—but never without care. The softness comes in the way he steadies you afterward. In the way he wraps his body around yours after you’ve fallen apart.
“Breathe.” You didn’t even notice you’d been holding your breath. His hand slides under your head, his voice—still low—finally soothes. “Good girl. You did so well.”
And this—this was only your first time. He pushed you to your limits, and now? That’s the standard. A ritual. You won’t ever know what “normal” feels like, at least not with him. He’s already thinking about next time, already aching for it.
He wants you to be used to him. To his pace, his body, his touch. Because there’s so much more he plans to do to you. A whole world of things he’ll be waiting—patiently—to try.

Marvel Being a Bad Dad (Pedro, Eugene, and Darla Edition)
By the way in this AU Mary is still his twin, but let’s say he knows the Vázquez for whatever reason. Also, in case it wasn’t obvious all of the Marvels besides Billy look like kids. Like actual kids. 10 to 14 depending on how old they are actually. Anyways, this is just a little short add-on to the original post. Nothing more. Also this has a little bit of Mexican Billy, courtesy of someone’s headcanon I saw and a post of Jason Todd babysitting the other Batkids.
*The League is throwing a party and Billy brings Darla and Eugene along. Marvel is talking to Batman while Darla is running around with Impulse. Also Eugene is talking tech with Tim!Robin*
Marvel: “And so yeah—” *looks to a table before doing a double take* “One sec.” *Looks around for Darla*
Darla: *stopped at the snack table for some juice*
Marvel: *Does that thing my mom does to get my attention: snaps fingers and beckons with her pointer with an expression that leaves me wondering if I’m going to get my ass beat*
Darla: *pauses mid juice sip and zips over*
Marvel: *leans down to whisper in her ear* “Toma esa cosa de la mesa.” *points el adorno on the snack table*
Darla: “Wha?” *looks over to the table* “The centerpiece? You can’t take that—”
Marvel: “Cállate!” *takes two fingers and pinches her mouth close* “No me importa. Tú lo vas a tomar. Vete.” *tries to shoo her away and takes his fingers off her mouth.*
Darla: “But that’s wrong!”
Marvel: “Vete.” *says while gritting teeth* “O corto el pelo de todas tus Barbies.”
Darla: *scandalized gasp*
Marvel: “Ah, y dáselo a tu hermano cuando termines. Gracias.” *shooes her off again*
Darla: *has distraught expression as she zips over and grabs it and runs off to Eugene to hand it to him with a guilty look before running back over to run around with Impulse again*
Eugene: *promptly throws it over his shoulder into his pocket dimension*
Robin!Tim: “Was that one of the centerpieces?”
Eugene: “Yeah?”
Robin!Tim: “Did you guys just steal it?”
Eugene: “Also yes.” *nods head*
Robin!Tim: “Why…? Also where did it go?” *rounds Eugene to look for it*
Eugene: “I threw it in my pocket dimension.”
Robin!Tim: “How does that work?”
*The two then forget about that whole thing and then start talking about magic, then go back to tech, then start talking about combining magic and tech*
*Back with Bruce and Billy…*
Batman: “Why did you just go send that child to go steal one of my centerpieces that I paid for with my money in my own Watchtower?”
Marvel: “You understood that- actually wait. You’re Batman. Of course you understood that.”
Batman: “Hn.” (Batman language for: Just tell me already)
Marvel: “Alright, alright.” *claps hand on Bruce’s shoulder* “Look, we needed it more than you ever will, okay?” (They really don’t)
Batman: “Elaborate on that.”
Marvel: “See, I can’t. So instead I’m just gonna go raid the snack table.” *juts a thumb towards the snack table* “See ya, Bats!” *waves and walks off to the snack table*
Batman: *Bat-glares at him as he leaves*
or
*The Justice League are fighting a super strong villain. Currently, Flash and Billy are hiding behind a rock while the villain’s goons are shooting at them. Billy also forgot to mention to Flash that he brought along Pedro*
Flash: “Okay, so here’s the plan- Dude, why is that little kid here?” *points to Pedro*
Marvel: “Huh, you mean him?” *also points to Pedro*
Flash: “Who else, man?” *gives Billy a look* “Bud, in case you can’t tell, this place is super dangerous. Like, Supes got knocked out for a moment type of dangerous! So why’s he still here? You should’ve sent him away!”
Marvel: “What? Pshhhh… He’ll be fine, Flash. Trust me.” *pats Pedro’s head* “Anyways, buddy, say hi to Flash.”
Pedro: *gives a little wave*
Marvel: *stage whispers this to Flash* “He’s a little shy. Me and the others are trying to get him to interact with people more.”
Flash: *notes how Marvel is a little too carefree about this. He later forgets about that when Pedro actually helps quite a bit in the fight. He also notes how this is one of the only instances he’s seen of Marvel acting positively towards his “kids”*
Translations:
Toma esa cosa de la mesa = Take that thing from the table
el adorno = The ornament/the decoration/in this case the centerpiece
Cállate = Be quiet
Vete = Go away/Go
O corto el pelo de todas tus Barbies = Or I cut the hair of all your Barbies
Ah, y dáselo a tu hermano cuando termines. Gracias = Oh, and give it to your brother when you’re done. Thanks.

Tim Bradford x fiancé rookie!fem!reader please? When the reader is a rookie and she pulled over her fiancé. Cute fluff 😂
https://youtube.com/shorts/zGueyvDS8DI?si=NOJ5fjs6HqbNdwYD
I love this! I hope you enjoy!!🤍 Picture from Pinterest
Warnings: fluff, Nyla Harper (this probably doesn't need an explanation). rookie!reader, 1.8k+ words.
Flirting With Cops
“I’m sorry, I don’t- run me through this one more time,” Nyla says, somewhere between exasperated and interested. “You had a secret boyfriend that nobody knew about, and then you just show up with a rock after a weekend off? Secret boyfriend is now secret fiancé?”
“Kinda,” you answer, slowing as you approach an intersection.
“Kinda. Elaborate?” Nyla asks, leaning forward with wide eyes.
“I thought you didn’t like to talk about personal lives in the shop,” you argue.
“I don’t talk about my personal life in the shop. Right now, we’re talking about yours.”
You don’t answer, but Nyla’s eyes remain on you. Sighing, you make a right turn as you decide where to start.
“Secret boyfriend is secret fiancé now, yes,” you begin. “But he’s been secret fiancé for a while. I just forgot to take my ring off this morning. And I mean, I didn’t think it was a problem if I didn’t tell anyone I was seeing-“
“If you told me right now, would I be the first to know?” Nyla interjects.
“No. Grey knows.”
“Grey? Wade Grey? Sergeant Grey, Watch Commander-”
“Yes, that Grey. I needed an afternoon off to deal with some relationship stuff a while back, so I told him.”
“Then why won’t you tell me?”
“I don’t know how my fiancé would feel about that.”
Nyla sits back, quiet until she says, “He doesn’t get to decide who you tell about your life. How am I supposed to decide if he is good enough for you?”
“I thought TOs thought boots weren’t good enough, shouldn’t that be the other way around?” you joke.
Nyla says your name, and you immediately turn serious.
“Harper, I just- it’s not about him controlling me, and he doesn’t, I promise. I’m just not sure why it’s a problem.”
“Not a problem, just a trust and general welfare thing. I need to know that you’re okay all the time because your personal life impacts your cop life.”
“Got it. I will let you know if anything worth mentioning arises.”
“As your friend though-“
“We’re friends?”
Nyla says your last name, a quick warning. “As your friend, I want to know that he’s good enough for you because it’s what you deserve as a person, regardless of your career. Dating is a- there’s a lot that can and does go wrong in the dating world, but Los Angeles is a different animal. If you’re engaged, I’ll assume you know him well, but if or when you want to trust me with this, I’m here.”
“Thank you, Harper.”
“And tomorrow is plain clothes day, so if you want to talk about him while I’m not here, feel free.”
You chuckle, hitting the sirens and answering, “Yes, ma’am,” before calling in a traffic stop.
✯✯✯✯✯
“Hey,” Tim greets.
“I’m mad at you,” you reply, closing the door and moving around him.
“I’m sorry. Although I’d like to know what I’m sorry for,” Tim replies, his brows raised.
Setting your bag on the counter, you raise your left hand and look at him.
“I apologize for… proposing?” Tim guesses.
You sigh, dropping your head and your hand in tandem. Tim walks to you, and you let him pull you into a hug, putty in his hands as he holds you close.
“You- you put my ring on this morning before work and I forgot to take it off,” you murmur.
“So, our friends and coworkers know? Is that a problem?”
“Of course not. I’m not ashamed of you or trying to hide this or anything, Tim. I just- Nyla wants to know everything to decide if my fiancé is good enough for me.”
“And what will she find?”
“I’m honestly not sure,” you joke.
“Maybe I’ll tell her that it was a pity proposal. You’re a terrible fiancée.”
“I love you,” you reply, kissing his cheek.
“You’re a terrible fiancée… who doesn’t play fair,” Tim repeats, softening under your hands and kisses.
“What are you doing with your day off tomorrow?” you ask. “I know you miss plain clothes day.”
“I don’t know,” Tim answers, his hands sliding from your waist to the curve of your hip. “Rob a liquor store or something to see if you’re ready to ride alone, I guess.”
“Hmm. I was hoping for a real husband and not a prison husband.”
“Don’t start with me,” Tim warns.
“You brought up the liquor store!”
Tim’s hands tighten gently, his fingers pressing into you. You chuckle, leaning against him again as you sigh.
“You’re just going to sit here and miss me, I knew it,” you say against his shirt.
“You’ve got me figured out. Guess you’re good enough for me at least.”
“You guess?”
Tim doesn’t give you time to finish teasing him, pulling you impossibly closer as he kisses you to silence you.
✯✯✯✯✯
“Just remember that I’m not here. Our shift got bumped so we’re working into the night, but don’t let that mess you up. You can do this as long as you remember what you’ve learned and apply it,” Nyla says, buckling her seatbelt.
“Nolan warned me that you were intense, but you’re really nice to me,” you reply.
Nyla doesn’t answer, invisible while you ride alone. Smiling to yourself, you wonder if talking about your fiancé would make her break.
✯✯✯✯✯
Thirty minutes after sunset, you haven’t done much on plain clothes day. Completed a few routine traffic stops, responded to two domestic calls, and narrowly avoided a flat tire, but nothing unusual or extreme. Your shift is nearly over, and while it’s too late to visit Tim, you’re ready to get home and rest before seeing him tomorrow.
Driving through Tim’s neighborhood as you finish your patrol, you hit the sirens when a blue pickup truck runs a stop sign. Nyla exits the shop as you do, standing at the back of the vehicle while you approach the window.
“Good eve-“ you begin, freezing when you see who is sitting in the driver’s seat.
“Can I help you, officer?” Tim asks, failing to hide his smile as he sits back in the seat.
“I, uh… you ran a stop sign.”
“Yeah,” Tim answers. “But, surely, there’s some way you can let me go. Right, officer?”
“It’s frowned upon to flirt with police officers during traffic stops, sir.”
You suddenly remember Nyla is behind you and glance over, unsurprised to find her watching you intently.
“Uh, Harper, would you give a fellow cop a ticket for running a stop sign?” you ask.
“I’m not here,” she reminds you, failing to hide that she wants to know who’s in the truck.
Turning back to Tim, you ask, “License and registration?”
Tim nods, pulling his wallet out and handing it to you. When you open it and have no problem finding both, Nyla begins fidgeting.
“Whose car is this?” you ask quietly.
“Rental. My sister needed help moving something but my power steering’s acting up.”
Nodding, you hand his wallet back.
“I’m going to let you off with a warning, sir, but regardless of whether or not you live here and know how busy the intersection is, you need to stop.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Tim replies, brushing his fingers over yours.
He drives away as you and Nyla get back in the shop. Her eyes are on you, but she remains silent. When your watch beeps at the end of your shift, and you’re still two blocks from the station, she breaks.
“Who was that? You were flirting so I thought it was your fiancé or something but then you asked about a fellow cop,” Nyla says quickly, not taking a breath until she’s done.
“You weren’t there,” you argue. “You didn’t see a thing.”
Nyla groans. “I will find out. I know I told you it was your decision to trust me, but I need you to trust me. Please?”
“Maybe tomorrow. When you’re back in the shop with me. By the way, how’d I do?”
“You did great. Until the end. That last traffic stop was iffy but since it was a fellow cop I’ll give you a pass on that one. You did check everything and give a warning, so I can’t really ask for more.”
Sighing, you park in the station lot and turn off the ignition.
“Thanks, Harper. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Oh, you most definitely will.”
✯✯✯✯✯
“This isn’t going to end well for me,” you whisper as you walk into the station.
“It’ll be fine,” Tim promises.
“You don’t have to ride with Harper after she finds out!”
“Hey,” Tim calls, gently hooking his fingers behind your bicep to pull you back to his side. “You will be fine.”
“I know. Thank you.”
A few minutes later, as you enter roll call, Nyla sits on the table in the front row.
“Spill,” she demands.
“Wait, what’s happening?” Angela asks.
“She’s dating a cop. Scratch that- she’s engaged to a cop. Pulled him over last night and got all flirty.”
“No ‘what happens in the shop stays in the shop’?” you ask.
“Nope. Now, do we know him?” Nyla asks.
You nod, and Angela asks, “Have we worked with him often?”
“Yes.”
“Is he in this room?” Nyla asks, looking over her shoulder.
“No.”
“Oh, thank goodness. I was having serious concerns about your taste in men,” Nyla sighs.
“Was he driving his own car last night?” Angela inquires.
“Oh, that’s a good question. I didn’t recognize it,” Nyla adds.
“No, it was a rental,” you explain.
“Just spit it out!” Nyla begs.
“Harper!” Tim yells, stepping inside. “Grey needs to see you.”
“He’s in the room now,” you whisper.
“Timothy Bradford?!” Angela yells.
“What?” Nyla asks, looking back and forth between you quickly.
“Tim and I started dating while I was in the academy, and we got engaged about a month ago,” you state. “And Grey knows because we had to tell him.”
“Wait, so you pulled over your fiancé last night?” Angela smiles at you before looking at Tim. “What did you do?”
“I ran a stop sign. Nothing you haven’t done. Don’t look at me like that Angela.”
“You’re dating a boot, I get to look at you however I want to.”
“So, Harper, is he good enough for me?”
Nyla purses her lips in thought. “Depends. Let me see the ring?”
You laugh, and Tim smiles before exiting the room, glad he can talk about you freely now.
✯✯✯✯✯
“Nyla wants to talk to you,” you tell Tim when you pass him coming out of the locker room. “Good luck.”
“Can’t be as bad as what Grey told me,” Tim replies, shrugging.
“What did Grey tell you?”
“Uh- well- I think Nyla needed to see me, so I’ll meet you at the truck in a few minutes,” Tim rambles, avoiding your question.
✯✯✯✯✯
“I’m glad we told people. Even if we were partially forced to,” you say, leaning your head against Tim’s shoulder.
“You want to show me off? I mean, I understand, but I thought-“ Tim groans when you hit his shoulder.
“I love you,” you whisper.
“I love you. Even though you’re a terrible fiancée.”
“Imagine what a terrible wife I’ll be.”
Tim tugs you closer as he responds, “I do. All the time. Especially when you pulled me over.”
