This is my Gabriel from Malignant costume I made for Monsterpalooza. The mask is made of silicone. I sculpted, molded, poured, and painted it. My face copy was also done by me from an old face cast. That's made of silicone and foam backing. The coat was thrifted and dyed. The sweater was thrifted as well. The weapon was super last min and not my best. Will be remade for future wears. I had very limited visibility as Gabriel, but the responses were worth it. As Madison, it wasn't as obvious that I was in costume until I turned around.

Halloween 2024

A few days early, sure, but I went to a Halloween event at my local zoo today and did a quick photoshoot afterward before I washed the sfx makeup off because it took five hours to do.

We get such lovely autumn colors in my home state.

Someone yelled "Prominence Burn!" at me while I was at the zoo and I think that qualifies as a threat, lol.

A little kid called me a kitty cat and that was probably on account of the cat paw gloves I was wearing, but Dabi is apparently so cat-coded he's mistaken for one on Halloween.

...

But I made that coat myself. All except the grey armbands; I purchased those online.

And that makeup took forever!

I feel like you should know that some of your fics that are titled after movies have successfully superceded the movies they're named after in my mind. As in someone mentioned The Day the Earth Stood Still to me today and my immediate thought process was, for a split second, ‘the Animorphs fanfiction????’ before I remembered.

Ahahhahaha that is amazing! Most of these are movies that are either famous (Akira, The Day the Earth Stood Still) or have special places in my heart (How I Live Now, These Are the Damned) so it hasn't happened to me. But then, I do have so many docs called HILN Draft 3, HILN Deleted Scenes, HILN Outline [Old], etc that I've read the word "kiln" as "hiln" before.
