Narnia Headcanons

- Edmund and Lucy were the only two to ever marry as king and queen of Narnia.

- Susan was married three times on earth. Her first marriage wasn't thought through and ended in amicable divorce after two years (they remained close friends throughout their lives), her second ended with her husband's death, and her third husband outlived her by three years. They were named Ned, Alexander, and Henry.

-Susan didn't remarry until nearly 10 years after Alexander's death (he was killed in a car accident). She had two children with him, Peter Edmund and Wren.

- meeting Henry was an unexpected but happy accident. She had twins with him: Christopher, and Charles.

- Peter Edmund took the most after Susan. Wren took after her uncle Edmund quite a bit though and liked to carry his picture around when she was little.

- Christopher was a lot like his late uncle Peter but Charles was like Lucy mixed with Eustace, which often led to interesting situations.

- Alexander was the only one Susan told about Narnia and he believed her immediately. His grandmother had been present when Jadis was in London and she was always convinced the witch was one of the fey, so it made sense to him.

- Edmund married Ariane the daughter of minor Archenland nobility. She is described by historians as, "tall, thin, and very plain with red hair and covered head to toe in freckles. Lady Ariane had a sharp tongue, was extremely stubborn, and argued as easy as she breathed. The king adored her."

- Ariane wasn't able to have children. She and Edmund unofficially adopted Aravis, who wasn't really sure what to make of the two at first.

- Lucy married the son of the governor of the Lone Islands, a man called Soren. He was described as being dark haired and quiet. He was exceptionally gentle and he and Lucy grew to love each other deeply.

- Lucy had one daughter named Una, who was later called Princess of the Ruins by rude Telemarene scholars. Narnians called her Queen Una the Wise.

- Soren died after a long illness, shortly before the Telmarens took over. Una fled to Archenland and lived in Exile there with her aunt Ariane.

- Ariane never got over Edmund's disappearance and often wandered around the countryside looking for Aslan, so he could bring her husband back. She died of old age surrounded by her niece, adopted daughter, and grandchildren.

She tilts her head, smiling lightly. Ascension. Soren's a weird egg. He likes hym. They squeeze ter hand back. "Yeah. Being alone sucks."

She'd been alone when hers happened, no matter how different the style. And that had been awful. He's glad that ters is different.

Soren sits on the ground, arranging rocks around a tiny, dead butterfly. Thi's wearing a pair of cargo shorts full of holes and tears, and a worn out t-shirt, so completely muddied and dirty that it's impossible to tell what it used to say, though some remnants of "CA" and "THER" are still visible. The shirt probably used to be purple.

Ter covered in bruises and scratches, though none go deeper than the surface of thits skin. Hys hair is wild and messy, almost fur-like, falling in dirty, inconsistent lines over hys face and down ter neck. A small crown of dead flowers rests upon hys head; a special headpiece thi made earlier this morning just for the ritual.

Thi looks around occasionally, wondering when hys audience will show up.

I looked it up and Magnus is actually a name. An uncommon one but still. Ultra Magnus would probably just go by that. He wouldn’t want to change his name

But Arcee, Bulkhead, and Smokescreen would all probably need new names

At base they’d probably still be called by their Cybertronian names. But in public they’d have to use the new names to avoid suspicion

Oh god yeah they needed somewhat real IDs at least so there was the fiasco of finding human names for these idiots…

Optimus and Elita were fine, thank goodness, going by their old names and Elita taking Pax as a last name. It seemed very fitting to everyone.

Bee chose a rather simple name, just Ben, and once again, the last name of Pax given to the young bot. Which fit him so well, none could argue and so, Ben Pax was his new identity.

Smokescreen took his time trying to find a name, that was fitting his …rather outstanding personality and more. In the end, he was signed into being, as Soren Pax. He didn’t get to argue much on being given the Pax last name, because Elita and Optimus had been quick to sign the paperwork properly adopting him in these human forms.

He didn’t mind too much, was just baffled he now really did share a family.

Magnus sought no change to his name, and took a simple and common human last name, though surely he would stand out regardless with his first name being so…formal. Thus, Magnus Kent became his name.

Wheeljack just called it a day when he decided to use his nickname, though on Miko’s insistence, they found him a last name to go with it. Jackie Wheeler, which Miko grinned upon presenting it. But it made the Wrecker keel over laughing and it was approved immediately.

Bulk took on the name of Bruce, though he still of course was called Bulk. It seemed fitting honestly and he was amused to hear that humans often used nicknames that resembled his Cybertronian name, especially the construction workers. So, he sought little change at all to his name, and simply went by Bruce Smith.

Ratchet kept his name…for the most part that is. As a last name that is, and for a first name, was just Roman.

Arcee really didn’t want to change her name, thinking it was already human esque in a sense.

But at the insistence they needed to be safe above all else, on her legal documents, her name was Araceli, which closely resembled Arcee anyway. Jack was quick to suggest the Darby last name for her, which June agreed to, saying she could be ‘a distant auntie’ of Jack’s.

Safe to say, Fowler has a lot of paperwork to do.

While I was writing my fic Post Credits, I realized that Ike, Soren, and Ranulf all spent part of their childhood in Gallia

So theoretically, the three of them could have been childhood friends in an alt timeline

And yes, I am ignoring the way that laguz age bc it’s dumb. I like to think that they age like the Branded (IE, they age normally until adolescence, in which their aging starts to slow down). And since laguz have longer lifespans, their aging slows down a little later than the Branded

(Aka: the aging of Branded start slowing down around age 13-15, whereas the aging of laguz starts slowing down around age 16-18)

ANYWAY

All of this is to say that I have recently been thinking about an AU where Ike, Soren, and Ranulf are childhood friends

Ike and Soren would meet like normal. But in this AU, Elena doesn’t die, so when Soren comes back the next day, Ike gives him more food. After a couple days of that, Ike finally convinces Soren to come home with him to meet his mom and dad.

I’ve long imagined that Elena’s bloodline carries some heron laguz blood (that of a blue heron, so not related to the nobility) so she has a cousin or an aunt or something who is Branded, and she immediately recognizes that Soren is the same, and convinces Greil to let Soren live with them.

Maybe Titania decides to adopt Soren, because it becomes clear to Elena early on that Ike has a crush, and she doesn’t want to complicate things by having them raised as brothers.

Ike and Soren meet Ranulf a few years later. He was born and raised in Zarzi, which isn’t far from the beorc village where Greil lives, but Ike and Soren don’t really visit Zarzi, nor does Ranulf venture much outside it. But one day, Ike starts tagging along with Greil and Titania on one of their trips into the city, and that’s when he meets and befriends Ranulf.

Ranulf is training to be a soldier like his father before him, and he is curious to see the beorc mercenaries that work for Gallia. He manages to badger his father into letting him attend the meeting between King Caineghis and Greil, and while the adults are talking, Ike starts asking Ranulf questions. They immediately hit it off. Ranulf is fascinated by Ike’s blunt and straight-forward nature. He’s never seen any beorc who acts so friendly towards laguz!

After that, Ike always tags along with his father, in hopes of bumping into Ranulf again.

Soren rarely leaves the village, and never without supervision, because Elena fears what might happen to him if left alone too long. So when he starts hearing stories about Ike’s new friend, he’s obviously quite jealous.

Ranulf decides that if Ike can’t bring Soren to meet him, he should go visit their beorc village! Almost immediately, Ranulf can sense that there is something different about Soren, but he doesn’t yet know about the Branded, so it confuses him. Nevertheless, he makes an effort to befriend Soren.

Soren does not want to befriend the guy that has stolen Ike’s undivided attention away from him. Also, Ranulf is immediately too friendly and too inquisitive. Plus he’s a laguz, and while Soren knows why laguz ignore him, it hasn’t softened his distrust of them.

Ranulf is very persistent, however, and Ike really wants them to get along, so eventually Soren caves.

Once they get a little older, they go on camping/hunting trips into the forest. At first, Titania or Greil tag along to supervise them, but eventually, they’re allowed to go on their own.

Soren and Ike both become mercenaries, working for King Caineghis. Ranulf goes on to climb the ranks and become the King’s right hand man. Sometimes, they team up on mission’s together, but more often, Ran acts as a messenger between the King and Greil, a job he enjoys because it allows him to check in on his friends.

Soren and Ranulf both start crushing on Ike fairly early on. It’s also not long before Ranulf reveals that he knows about Soren’s crush, and they wind up commiserating together about how oblivious Ike can be.

Soren views Ran as his love rival, but polyamory is commonplace amongst beast laguz, and Ranulf is more than happy to share whenever Ike finally gets a clue.

Having a Branded as part of the mercenary team causes Greil some grief at first. Many of their clients are laguz, and they get upset when they learn that Soren is a trusted member of the team. Greil and Titania try to keep Soren from seeing the worst of it, however, confronting any prejudiced views out of Soren’s earshot. However, that isn’t always possible, and Soren’s no idiot. He has a good idea of what happens. But he also doesn’t know how to thank Greil and Titania for sticking up for him, so he just pretends not to notice.

Aaaand, that’s it for now. I have no idea how this might affect the plot of PoR, or the fate of Crimea. For now, it’s just a fluffy thought experiment. Thanks to everyone who read this far!!

thinking about cassie rose after a good while now, read some actually decent fanfics with her in them,, and i was thinking about her relationship with the old builders. i do like the hc that she was just.. left as a baby at their door and they didnt know what to do. but i had another idea.

the old builders worked together a lot despite hadrian insisting he'd rather work alone.

mevia is trying to get everyone to do things her way per usual, and isn't taking anyone's suggestions.

otto is trying to be the peacekeeper, trying to solve the problem and incorporate everyones ideas into it - but its increasingly becoming overwhelming.

soren has no thoughts just scribbling down key points in the experiments down.

harper is trying to suggest ways to continue safely rather than mevias obviously hazardous ways of doing things,,

eventually they stop, leaving everything for the time being, they didn't expect it to pan out how it did.

eventually they become wary of the results, watching as a blob in the middle of the glass box starts moving, there's pumpkin seeds in it, they've multiplied from the one that was planted.

upon closer inspection, it has eyes. it freaks everyone but hadrian out, who's fascinated by the blob.

only hadrian visits from now on, and eventually, shouts the rest of them in to see it.

a huge pumpkin covered in roses has grown as an outer shell - but it's not the normal orange that is usually grown outside by the people that lived there, it was white. the thing inside the pumpkin looked like a human. wine red hair which they'd never seen before from someone. but was it a person? or had they just accidentally made something they'd regret. she was tiny,, they'd somehow created a life from all this. it was insane for them to even be seeing with their own eyes - a breakthrough of some kind?

hadrian was the first to hold a hand out, and the baby instantly grabbed his finger. it suprised him in a way, but he immediately picked her up, pulling off leaves that were tangled around her head, green mixed with the red of her hair, making her look similar to a christmas wreath. only the pumpkin wasnt keen too happy about having to let her go, it broke up, becoming rotten, and the roses instantly wilted and grew thorns so sharp, mevia found herself getting a scratch across her finger.

the baby instantly started crying, bits of dirt covering her from where she was just moments ago.

the roses were only wilting faster now, melting in a way that none of them had seen before, turning into a thick substance that bubbled strangely.

they decided it was best to leave it, as they didn't know what these things actually were.. nevermind the things they were capable of.

but the word rose stuck, and she was named cassandra rose. cassandra after someone distant in ottos family, someone who had been a great influence on them all, her writings and knowledge being key to everything they had built together.

cassie was like any other person,, so no one assumed anything about her origins,, just that she had been adopted into the old builder's lives. the only problem was the roses stuck, they'd need trimming often as they grew around her and while she didn't seem to care about them, they were such a nuisance to everyone else. when she'd learned to walk, they would assist her, catching her when she fell which was something else entirely.. and it hurt when they were trimmed because they were a part of her, so often she'd cry - mevia hated crying children. if left too long pumpkins would start growing too and that wasn't good.

they continued assisting her as she grew up. hadrian wanted to enroll her into school, but harper who had taken in cassie as her own at this point with soren spoke against it. she may look like a child but they still weren't sure what she was, she'd never interacted with anyone besides them either. hadrian however wouldn't take no for an answer, and she was taken to the nearby school.

kids weren't nice,, asking constant questions about the roses attached to her skin. once one child had started tugging at them did cassie soon get mad. it hurt her which caused the stems to start wrapping around the kids' throat, tightening until he couldn't breathe.

she was never allowed back after that. the child was fine but if this would be a common occurrence, she couldn't stay there. so she was taught at home instead.

sometimes the roses would have negative emotions of their own which would hurt cassie herself. sometimes they'd have positive emotions too, making sure she was warm at night or wiping away her tears when she cried.

the experiment didn't die down either, hadrian and mevia would record events and keep it all in a diary. they saw her as the experiment rather than a kid. they even had positive emotions when she'd attacked that child on her only day at the school which very much disturbed the others.

the only people that treated cassie like an actual child were harper and soren. soren would sing to her, hold her in his arms and spin around which made her laugh. and harper would teach her things,, she'd draw with her too as she soon saw cassies passion for art. in turn, the roses saw harper and soren as trusted people and they loved them as much as cassie did.

The first is Soren, the heir to the throne. And second is Nikolai!

Ellie x friends' OC

Elaine is... A tricky one. She is the only princess, very snarky (to make up for her lacking height), and to top it all off, LESBIAN. Elaine is shipped with a friend's OC. They can't have children since they're women, but even if they could, they wouldn't. Elaine is not too fond of children. She already has a hard time dealing with Soren and Nikolai.

Michi was practically tossed aside by her family after they found out that she has no uterus to continue the bloodline with. Feeling unwanted, she focused all her energy into becoming stronger - strong enough to defend herself. Because if no one else would protect her, she'd make sure she can always rely on herself. This lead her to become snarky and independent. She doesn't do whatever she's told to, and that's exactly what caught Nobunaga's interest. As stated, Michi has no uterus, so they cannot have children naturally. The only option would be adoption, which Michi is admittedly not too fond of.

Emiko x Mitsuhide

At first, Emiko bonded with Masamune when they both would start cooking and exchanging ideas together. Emiko came from the modern world, being a confectioner. She taught Masamune a few things, and he taught her some things about sugar alternatives. Then Emiko discovered Mitsuhide's lacking sense of taste. And it made her determined to punch her way into his taste buds. With food, of course- So yeah, this is basically a "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" kind of romance. They would go on to have twin daughters!

Airi was the only daughter of a wealthy clan. However, they fell in war, and Airi had to flee the place. She sought refuge with Kenshin and Shingen. The ladder of the two immediately was interested, as his eyes were set on this young, but very timid beauty. Slowly, he helped her get used to the place. Shingen's disease was treated. They got married and had a daughter.

Her name is is Konatsu!

Stella is a Goddess. Though she is very powerful, she barely puts her abilities to use. She escaped from Mount Olympus, wanting nothing more than to just live a peaceful life among mankind, not being adored by them from high above. Well, they became acquaintances, then friends, and that slowly became a love so strong that the other Gods felt there'd be no way to talk this girl out of it, no matter how outlandish the relationship between a vampire and a God was.

They went on to have one daughter, Celine! She is a hybrid, has fangs and a bit of her mom's abilities!

Beatrix saw Loki running through the streets of Cradle on a cold, stormy day. She made him come inside her shop. Her kindness instantly got his attention. So he came to see her regularly. They got close, and Loki did try to make moves on her very quickly, but she set clear boundaries.

Well, with time, they grew even closer, until neither of them could deny their feelings anymore. After a year of dating, they got engaged. And married.

Since both were relatively young, they'd wait several years before starting a family. But they'd have two kids anyway!

Valérie is a magical puppet with the physique of a small child, created by the magic tower. Though she does have her own consciousness, she doesn't really understand the concept of being alive. And she doesn't have emotions, leading her to have trouble understanding how other people feel.

At the end of the battle, Valérie gets protected by the Black Army. This ends with her calling Sirius "daddy".

Long story short, Valérie gets adopted and Sirius never hears the end of it. 😃 And everyone else gets called uncle. Except for Luka. He gets the big brother treatment.

When they were little, Leyya and Zojja spent time that they didn't have to be learning in their shared progeny class poking at anything of interest. While Leyya didn't have the boundless drive for knowledge and fathomless depth of curiosity Zojja did, at least at first, a chunk of it was wanting to learn more about this strange, sullen little girl she'd decided to make friends with.

Because in some ways, she was as alone as her angry new friend.

But eventually her curiosity led Leyya to want to learn more too, and she started taking part in the almost ritual of curiosity and exploration. Whenever Pruri gave them all breaks to do their own thing, Leyya would immediately start asking questions, even taking the lead sometimes in their little excursions.

And having developed a penchant for being sneaky pretty early on, she often led them a little further than they were technically allowed to be from the little classroom in Soren Draa the caregiver brought them to for their studies.

At first, Zojja did have to needle her new friend to read or pay attention in class. Leyya had class clown tendencies from the jump. But after a while, she often paid attention just so she could keep up with the little prodigy she'd decided to make friends with, and studied even harder. Pruri praised her for doing that on her own. Leyya was doing it because she wanted to prove she could.

As they grew closer over time, their pastimes usually included ways to get into trouble without getting in trouble. Leyya proved her cleverness and intelligence in other ways... she even taught Zojja, around the time they were nine or ten, how to predict the outcome of most polymock tournaments. They won a lot of candy from their classmates that way.

It was easier to hang out once Snaff adopted Zojja, but the issue then became Kudu. He didn't like Zojja, and he definitely didn't like Leyya.

Maybe she went over more often because of that.

RELIEF FLOODS HIM. He'd been prepared for a battle there, to have to convince Julian that keeping paperwork confidential and encrypted wouldn't be enough. He's unbelievably glad when the young doctor immediately begins to come up with possible solutions instead. "And you're willing to go through the process as though that were the case? You'll adopt him? He'll... need to change his name." Now Garak avoids Julian's eyes out of awkwardness rather than shame or anguish. "In the future I visited... you took my name, as did the children. He'll need to go from being Soren Garak to Soren Bashir."

Julian almost wishes, once he's done it, that he hadn't put together the clues Garak strung along for him, because the realization that he had gone right to Garak's apparently-abusive father for help when Garak was at his weakest is a devastating one. He questions, for a moment, if this might be a lie or a delusion, but he can't convince himself of that, and he's left to just accept it. Swiftly, he begins to assemble a list of possible solutions. "He's mine. He's mine as much as he's yours, and there's absolutely no reason that your involvement needs to be documented anywhere. We don't even have to mention it." He takes a deliberately slow breath. "And... And we don't have to mention time travel either. Soft-hearted Federation doctor adopts war orphan from Bajor? Not exactly unbelievable."

What i did establish is that micaiah is also in the group home with stefan and soren its like a literal final fantasy house in there. micaiah gets limited contact with them because Girl (foster care 1984) but generally stefan is fond of her and soren tolerates her more than in canon because he grew up with her and shes not lighting his troops on fire. She still gets on his nerves because she’ll just start psychoanalyzing him out of nowhere and he hates that but its kind of a greil mercenaries type environment for him where this is kind of his family but its Not ike

branded group homes are pretty common because either youre bigoted against the branded or you dont want the load of trauma that comes from fostering/adopting a branded child. Most adopted branded were charity case infants from countries where theyre especially marginalized (please save the branded children from gallia. THere is nothing loaded about our perception of laguz countrys persecution of minority groups and lack of insight into our own). the yank branded children in the states of crimea are kind of ickier and get adopted less. foreign or not once they hit age 6 in the system they are demon children no one wants to adopt. Notably a good chunk of the branded population is foreign born because of this + asylum seekers. 2022 with the one I confessed to last August 2.

Just like Spotify who wraps up all of our tunes that we listened to last 2022, I’d like to revisit all of the things we did and achieved last year. It was a fruitful one, I could never ask for more. You are simply the person I want to be with for the rest of the years that will come. Who would’ve thought that a single confession would lead us to this.

Despite the spontaneity of our timeline, our pace is by far unmatched and perfect. I thank whoever is out there writing the chapters that have unfolded, I hope that it never runs out of words for our romance.

Honoring our vows, we stayed truthful to each other. Tickets to Seoul for Summer and painting our portrait of our depiction from the movie pur wedding was inspired of. Samer’s first birthday as a complete family with ny partner for a lifetime. We had a small birthday celebration for the little one, showering him with plenty of gifts and love. I watch the two of you bond and all I can say is that you suit being a father. You are the best and a natural at it. All I wanted was to give the both of you the world as I fondly watched the two of you sleep beside me. It has become an inside joke that even if our kids are adopted, they still look like you for some reason. I guess its a win for me. After all, I’d look at you for a long time.

Our second proposal, first anniversary, and my birthday. I have received the greatest gift I could ever receive long before it but you made it special. Getting on one knee for the secons time was still nerve-wracking. I wanted to make it better and perfect, but I guess nothing tops the first time. The ring was customized back when in the layovers I had. I dragged Zo and Dean for the plan and there our little one came home. Our first anniversary was just me spilling my heart out as we cuddled and whispered words of adoration. My heart is full, it is everything I asked for.

Despite the wintry blues, you radiated warmth. Everything about December felt fast, slipping away from my grasp but you were there to mellow it all out and ground me back. (Warning, it's long)

Scott - Skywing Elf Prince with a chip on his shoulder who begged to come along on the mission to assassinate the king and the crown princess. Ended up befriending the princess and one of the princes instead and going on a journey to return the ender dragon egg to Xadia

Jimmy - Adopted son of the king and youngest of the four royal siblings. He ends up caught in the middle of an assassination attempt and, in an attempt to fix the broken relationship between elves and humans, befriends the elf prince and slowly falls in love with him.

Gem - Princess of the human kingdom Katolis, heir to the throne and adoptive older sister to Jimmy. She's a very powerful wizard, and has been teaching her younger brother Sausage magic as well. She relies on her staff with a magic crystal to cast spells (although that will change). She forges a bond with the dragon egg and helps it hatch.

Pixl - A human prophet that was one of two tasked with finding the missing prince and princess by the king's advisors and bringing them back. He can sense death and disaster before it happens, and when he eventually finds the royal siblings, he joins them.

Lizzie - A Tidebound elf who loves to roam around the land and learn new things about humans. She is a powerful sorceress, and is immediately taken with Jimmy. By the end of their first interaction, Jimmy has another older sibling. She swears up and down she's not following them, but they always seem to find her wherever they go.

Joel - A knight who was the second of two tasked with bringing home the missing prince and princess. He and Pixl were both very close to Jimmy and they're both worried about him. Joel runs into Lizzie in her human disguise and immediately falls in love. She ends up being super helpful in their search too.

Katherine - (Playing VERY loose with this one) An Earthblood elf general and princess. She's a good friend of Scott's, and helps them out several times. She's a very kind soul and believes heavily in the power of strong alliances.

Shrub - (Again, playing very loose) A Moonshadow elf (because wolf, moon, get it?) vigilante known as the Wolf Spirit. Gem meets her when they're both trying to break into the same place, and they get along really well. She gets captured by Katherine and the two experience a romantic subplot (b-because nature wives)

Joey - A close friend of Prince Sausage and an advisor to the king. He and Sausage discover a strange mirror in the depths of the castle, and find a corrupted elf on the other side. Joey falls in love immediately, and becomes obsessed with trying to help him escape his prison. He sends Sausage and Fwhip to find the egg. Oh, and their missing siblings, of course.

Fwhip - The second oldest prince, who sets out with his brother Sausage to try and find their siblings themselves after the search party comes back with nothing, and the trackers sent by the advisory council go missing. He wants revenge on the elf that helped kill their father and "kidnapped" his siblings and doesn't notice the strange behavior from Sausage until its too late.

Sausage - The second youngest prince and a wizard in training. Born without much magical prowess, he, encouraged by Joey, secretly turned to darker methods, against Gem's warnings. When he and Joey discover a mirror with a strange elf, the dark magic running through his bloodstream allowed the elf to corrupt him.

Xornoth - A corrupted skywing elf that went too far with dark magic and ended up being sealed away. He's Scott's brother but Scott has no memory of him because their parents wiped them. He wants to escape and get revenge on the ones who had wronged him, and on his brother for never coming to save him.
