The figure looked down at Billy. Billy looked up at the figure awkwardly from where he was digging through a trash can. 

“Um… I can explain!” 

Okay he honestly couldn’t, and instead threw a bag at them and booked it like his life depended on it. Which it might! Living in Fawcett meant that there were magical entities everywhere, even if they looked human, and he wasn’t going to get stolen by some fae!

And they caught him. Great. He’s going to die now or get thrown back into foster care- huh? Food? They’re offering- no no, this is some fae bullshit, isn’t it! … But he’s also hungry, so maybe it’ll be worth it…

Head canon:

Hero's have adapted their suits to help them. They have extra back stabilization cus of a back injury, built in braces for their knees, elbow or wrists etc. This means they can't just take off their suits and trade them cus they're custom made for each hero.

Peter in the compound with a very sleepy Wulf in his lap I see pets it while doing his physics homework Tony walks in and stares at the wolf that is glowing green in Peter's lap and immediately panics

Tony very nervously: Peter why is there a glowing wolf in your lap?

Peter looking up from his homework confused for about 3 seconds before he makes a face and realization and says: Oh that's Wulf spelled with a u

Tony: Okay cool Why is Wulf in your lap?

Peter: He was sleepy and wanted to hang out

Tony: How did he get here without setting off any alarms

Peter: Oh will he opened it a portal through dimensions and the reason you weren't alerted was because I told Friday he was a friend

Tony: He's your friend? How?

Peter: I became friends with the death God

Tony: I'm sorry you what?

And then it cuts over to shuri making an amalgamated abomination of what looks to be a plasma sword for Peter

Peter deadpan: Met interdimensional wolf on a mission tried to get him back to his owner met God became friends with God

Tony: hUh-?

Peter: Just smiling walk away Tony. It's better for your sanity. Oh and don't going to the other part of the lab shuri's making something beyond our mortal minds

I think I'll pick Killer Frequency

Hi, Wolf! Haha! I just can't help myself when it comes to new fic ideas, if only I had that kind of drive to actually finish them aa! Thanks, making the title for a fic is one of the best parts!

Alrighty, well, Killer Frequency is an idea of mine that came from a game I really enjoy, of the same name. The premise of that game is that a radio show host in a small town is the only source of help to call when a serial killer goes on the loose, and it's up to him to save the town and himself before it's too late. I went bouncing up and down the walls for that game, so I figured, I should combine this with my other hyper-fixation! Billy already is a radio show host and constantly has people trying to kill him, this is a perfect fit!

For my fic, the plot surrounds Billy Batson investigating a serial killer cold case with the help of the Fawcett News team (Sterling Morris, Helen Fidelity, Whitey Murphey, Joane Jameson, and Cissie Sommerly). Billy and Cissie aren't officially helping with the case, but whenever those two are brought into the office, they insist on helping in any way they can. Mr. Morris also couldn't find a babysitter in time.

They figured an old famous case like this would make for a good segment on their radio show, bringing in new and old fans of good journalism stories. They even joked on air that they would "solve the case once and for all" Never once did any of them anticipate one of the viewers calling into the show would be the killer themselves; promising to pay them a visit, real soon.

Danger would become eminent, as Fawcett City goes under a blackout/power outage. All emergency service calls are offline, with no internet, and no lines can get through. Whoever this killer is, or whatever they are, they seem to be rather keen on letting old dogs lie.

With it apparent that a serial killer is on the loose in Fawcett, heading straight to them, the Fawcett news team and Billy have to figure out the culprit and save the lives of the Fawcett people and theirs, before it's too late...

It's a bit of a mess, but it's a favorite of mine! I'm really excited to finish this one and ramble on more about it. Please, if you want to know more, let me know. I will not shut up about it!!

I love G1 cartoon Shockwave. Just Some Guy Meter Off The Charts. He got left on Cybertron. He has a tiny gun version of himself. He's getting beat up by femme auotbot vigilantes and humans on a regular basis. Other Shockwaves are doing unethical science experiments, causing the entire plots of their universes, and Cube-ing Blurrs, but he's just tired as he waits for the next Autobot to sneak onto the spacebridge that leads directly into his house no one ever bothers to guard. Immaculate.

With comic book fans it’s always “current [character] is so out of character because in [specific comic run from 30 years ago] he acted like this.”

Fellas, the best part of comics is that the characters constantly evolve, and probably have been changed over and over again for longer than you’ve been alive. Each writer and artist reimagines the character in their own way, in a new way that will speak to different people in a different time. I shamelessly love New 52 Red Hood & Arsenal, and don’t really like Three Jokers Jason Todd or Young Justice Arsenal. And that’s okay. Maybe you hate New 52 Jason and love Rebirth Jason. And that’s okay!!

Even though it’s irritating, don’t hate on writers and artists for creating your character in a way that you don’t find “accurate.” In comics, after all this time, I don’t think there is an “accurate” way to portray a character. They’re vessels to tell a story, and are meant to change.

It’s okay if you don’t like a certain portrayal of your favorite comic character, because you probably already have media out there to consume that does portray them in a way that speaks to you, and the character will probably continue to grow and change forever. And that’s really cool.
