Jin: He would be super supportive, always find sneaky ways to promote your book like having it conveniently placed in the background of selfies. Tho he’d also be half jokingly convinced that every new character is somehow based on him. “Ooh, this guy’s really interesting, and handsome, what’s his deal?” *wiggles eyebrows knowingly* They’re not based on him, but he keeps trying(the one that is tho, he hasn’t asked about yet, lol)

Yoongi: I think he would really admire you being a writer, but he would also try to respect your creative privacy, similar to how he is with the other members' projects. He’ll read it when it’s finished, that’s how it’s supposed to work. But truthfully, he’s also not-so-secretly thrilled and touched whenever you ask for his feedback or opinion on whatever you’re working on.

Hobi: He would be such a huge supporter of your work! He would read and promote everything you release, even sometimes begging to read your wips, even if they’re still in the nonsense, first draft phase(or as I call them, hell drafts). He might worry about you sometimes if you’re overly focused on a project, taking up the task and making sure you’re getting enough rest and looking after yourself.

Namjoon: He would be so in love with the fact that you’re a writer! He’s an avid reader and would be so happy with being able to watch you bring each new story to life, always ready and willing to beta read anything or give advice if you need him. He makes a point to go to local bookstores to buy your books when they’re released(maybe even trying to go incognito to attend your book signings, hehe)

Jimin: He honestly thinks you’re a genius, it doesn’t matter the genre or how many books you write, he’s always in total awe, tho I think he might struggle at times with your need for so much time on your own to work. But he would find little ways to help and spend time with you, basically becoming your assistant and making sure you have whatever you need; bringing you coffee, making sure you’ve eaten and move around every couple hours.

Taehyung: He really admires your work and loves getting to help out in any way he can, whether that's helping act out scenes with you to test the flow of everything, or just making sure you have a quiet space to focus. He’s the type to surprise you with little weekend getaways to help you recharge and give you a change of scenery to work through any writer's block or issues you might be having.

Jungkook: He would get soo invested in your characters, wanting to know every little detail about them and mourning every misfortune that befalls them. I’m talking calling you up at 3 am, outraged like “WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THEM BREAK UP?! THEY WERE PERFECT TOGETHER!!” Fr tho, he would love your mind and creativity, and would tell you so as often as you’d let him(possibly while trying to get spoilers for the next book in the series, but-)

Now that I’m on my lunch break…

I’m not sure what they would think of 3tan, but I think they would be this kind of reader:

Jin: a silent reader but who probably discuss it with the other members what he thinks about the stories. Most likely loves that he’s portrayed so far as someone who wins the games he plays.

Yoongi: he loves it, we all know it (you can’t deny it, Ryen) but he doesn’t show it.. but the members would catch him every now and then on his phone and get a glimpse of what he’s looking at (which is probably how some of them found it out). And I’m sure he’s the type of reader that leaves anonymous messages with some insightful thoughts about the chapter, and upon seeing the challenges you laid out, he messes with all of us showing up publicly during some curious times (refer this to the ok mr min tag) hahahah

Hobi: he’s in love with the side characters and wants to know everything about them, and looks forward to every drop, be either a chapter or a drabble, and it’s an enthusiastic fan: will hype you up all the time and share this to everyone

Namjoon: this guy! I just know that he is that reader who gives the most thoughtful and insightful feedback! He loves the imagery and the way you write it so poetically and does the same when writing his review/feedback. He also catches the smallest details of the story.

Jimin: he’s a menace, ofc! He was the one who caught Yoongi reading 3tan and was curious enough to look for it and now it’s addicted to the story! He LOVES horny hours and loves to cause chaos and will bring insane ideas for you to write and us to beg you for it. (If horny anon is not Yoongi, like I once thought, then it’s Jimin)

Tae: he’s in love with you! You have a spotlight for his baby, Yeontan, how could he not? Another one that just loves how you write things, but sometimes he gets lost while reading because his mind keeps wandering in this universe, which is why it takes a little time for him to catch up on all the reading and reviews/feedbacks… and sometimes he honestly forgets to send you things. But one thing that he’s the most impressive and will always send you theories that are so spot on that you cannot answer it, afraid to give away too much.

JK: he’s so immersed in this story that he’s feeling a little annoyed that he doesn’t get things the way he would want to! How come reader doesn’t want him anymore? “I would definitely try to use my puppy bunny eyes to convince them that I’m the best choice here” but also is the one who is rooting the hardest for our favorite couple. Wears he hearts on his sleeve, so you can actually watch his reactions to the story in real time: he gets angry, happy, frustrated and boy does he cries!

Ok so

I sent you an ask & talked about (amongst other things) my feeling that Tk have split up.

It was with some amusement & a fair bit of eye rolling that I read the comments.

First off. Sorry to disappoint some of you, but I am not, never have been & never will be a jikooker.

I think you need to understand that IF Tk split up, it will not make jikook real.

I am also not a ‘Tae bias Tkker that blames Jungkook for everything’ & if the person that said that thinks Jungkook has a say in how Tae is treated by the company & the fake lil7, they need to check themselves.

I sometimes wonder if I’m the only Taekooker that’s ever had more than 1 relationship as the concept of people breaking up seems to be unknown to many?

To answer 1 comment - I specifically said the Jungkook IS NOT a selfish dick - perhaps work on reading comprehension hmm?

While (with due respect as she seems polite from the conversations I’ve seen you have with her) I’d rather not have mrs monaghan agreeing with me, she is actually right about a couple of things -

It appears than ppl in the comments have not watched the lives Jungkook did (I think 3?) that were pretty much all about Jimin - watching videos of him, talking about him & yes, praising him. They were in fact quite jarring as they were such a departure from his usual lives.

And yes, they did spend time together in & around NY - there was plenty of sightings, talk & a couple of photos about it at the time. No doubt some of it was specifically for content as there were cameras & they were wearing mics - we will probably see that soon in Jimin’s documentary.

If it was Taekook, we’d be very happy about all this, just as we have been with seeing them at the premiere, the selca & at Yoongi’s concert.

Why this Jimin centric content is coming from Jungkook, I couldn’t say - especially as I’ve already stated that I’m not a jikooker.

Perhaps as one commenter said, it has to do with image for military service, although I don’t know how the Jikooking fits in.

I can only assume that some of the people commenting are not in gc’s or have moots that talk about what’s happening, so they’re actually not aware of things. Which doesn’t mean they haven’t happened, only that they don’t know about it. We talk about jikookers watching actual content - that goes for Taekookers too - staying in your bubble is like being in an echo chamber- you’re only going to hear & see what you want.

However. Your answer to me (thank you for taking the time, I appreciate the conversation) made sense - I agree that Tae & Jk are very close & they love each other a lot & your point that if they’re only friends, why wouldn’t Jungkook post for Tae, is a good one.

It doesn’t explain why he doesn’t post for Tae or like his tiktoks etc, but I’m aware that we’ll never know - unless we get lucky in the distant future & maybe one of them will write a book & spill a few secrets!

They both seem to be happy - it’s been a joy to watch Tae for the last few weeks (despite the sabotage & lack of support from so called ot7 😑) & he’s achieved a lot. As I’ve already said, I have no doubt that Jungkook will be extremely successful & we know he too will work very hard - I’m happy that it’s unlikely he will face the challenges Tae has & we can hopefully enjoy this time without the anxiety.

I honestly hope I’m dead wrong & that they’re still together- but if they aren’t, so be it, they aren’t fairytale characters & I would always only want them to be happy (together preferably 😬)

To some of the commenters - don’t assume everyone is a jikooker just because they have a different view or opinion to you - if you talk to enough people with an open mind, you’ll find that there’s a lot of different perspectives out there, it’s just that there’s very few places they can be discussed without instant raising of hackles & hate.

You are not the only one thinking this way, there’s quite a few doubting Tkkrs at the moment. Which is in all honesty fine. People do break up at times it’s usually for the best even, since breakups are most of the time because something doesn’t work.

There’s a lot of comparing Tkk’s interactions with those of Jkk. The reason for that is obvious ofcourse, but it also creates an either/or situation. To me it’s clear that Jimin and Jk are just friends, so it feels like an odd comparison. I don’t expect friends and partners to act the same. I think Jk’s interactions with Jimin on social media is exemplary of him missing Jimin.. them not spending as much time together as they are used to. That also fit with what we’ve seen in the firat part of the year… Jkkrs themselves were doubting if those two were seeing each other still. I think that is just what it was. I think Jk is a very ‘act in the moment’ guy. I don’t think he planned those lives to be about Jimin up front, I think he was prompted by things (seeing Jm online on weverse, seeing him in his comments, fans asking about him) and he just acted on that because he loves him and felt a sudden surge of fondness. I don’t think those instances were signs of anything more. Ofcourse it were great moments though.. but it doesn’t have anything to do with Jk’s relationship with Tae.

When comparing the two ships’s interactions.. somehow it’s not looked at in terms of private vs public. Because when we look at private interactions.. the scale tips over quite a lot to the other side. We know Tae and Jk have met often. Tae still talks about Jk freely and happily. There’s no reserve, no sadness there.. so that is why I think all is well. Tae’s behavior and comments are quite often being disregarded as ‘yeah, that’s just Tae’.. as if his doings don’t actually count. But he is one part of Tkk so ofcourse what he does and says counts.

I know we’ve not had much the last two months or so.. but the last two months have also been the ones where both Tae and Jk have been the busiest. Both of them are flying all over the world constantly, they have all sorts of projects going.. so that is what makes this time different I think… aside from that I feel Tae and Jk have been pretty consistent.

And yeah… I get a lit of jkkrs on here.. also some pretending to be Tkkrs.. so that’s why people probably saw you as one as well 😬.

i understand oc not wanting to live in her hometown since there is so much trauma attached to it. but i'm shocked that jimin - who has been carrying a torch for her for 4 years and is deeply in love with her- wouldn't take the chance to follow her. i feel like life is too short to not be with the person you love especially when the characters love each other as much as jimin and oc do. I will say the ending is realistic in that even when there is lots of love, relationships just don't work out.

I guess I’ll speak on behalf of novocaine jimin since I wrote him!!! Because what ur saying definitely has weight like… if he loved her so much why didn’t he just follow her?? And to that I say that, Jimin absolutely loved the piss out of y/n. but he also mourned the idea of her for four years. At some point, he had to learn how to live without her and probably already rewrote and came to terms with his future without her. And then she comes back and ahhhhh all these feelings come back and he’s like omg!!! Everything can be like it used to !! he can go back to the future with her like he thought he’d have before she left all those years ago… except things don’t go back to the way they did before she left. Not really. And the more time spent together, the more he realized his dreams for the future couldn’t exist with her in this town.

So he has two options: 1) hop on that bus with her and spontaneously go after a future that he has no idea what will look like and just live city to city like she doesn’t OR 2) to reaccept the future he saw for himself after you first left. The future that for four years he had accepted as his.

I guess what I really wanted to drive home was, at their core, jimin and y/n are different. Jimin craves a small life and familiarity (aka why starting a new relationship proved unsuccessful while he could pick up an old one easily). He doesn’t see this town as having taken his brother but rather that his family is this town. Y/N knows that Jimin always planned on renovating and one day making a family in his family home. And then there’s Y/N, who because of her trauma (but also even before that) is the exact opposite. Things that are familiar are bittersweet. Every bit of her town is linked to a memory and she feels “ghosts” of her past haunting her as she says in ch 4. She finds joy in the unknown and in spontaneity and always wondered what else the world had to offer. She has no desire to build “roots” like Jimin seems to find comfort in.

It made him happy to see Y/N back in her hometown hanging out with her old friends because it was familiar. But he recognizes that she are a shell of her old self and i think that scares him because it means he cannot ignore the fact that you can’t be happy with him here. And it’s finally boils over in ch 4.

No matter how much they loved each other, no matter how much interests and memories they shared, the things that at their core defined them weren’t the same. Both of them knew it was a temporary rekindling but I really don’t think either fully understood what they were agreeing to by getting back together. They were just so in love and probably were both hoping that that could be enough :(

I feel sad for the three of them. I feel oc and yoongi loved each other genuinely. Oc loves him, she respects him given how considerate she is of him and his boundaries, she thinks about Yoongi first.. I observed that a lot of times during sex, she would ask Jk to do stuff to Yoongi because she wants to put his pleasure first, she’s the first to check up on him if he’s okay with it, etc.

Yoongi.. well in the first place, jk liked oc first. Oc might have rejected giving jk her number but it doesn’t mean she liked yoongi than jk, maybe in her head “Well if you want me, come get me.” Not through a 3rd party, you know what I mean? And that attraction towards Jimin.. staying later at work, wanting to spend time with him and encouraging flirtation.. it is micro cheating in its simplest form.

Jk.. i wish he could have made his move in the beginning but then again we wont get this story! He’s a very complicated character. You see he loves oc so much that he did things he’d never consider doing before (esp. bisexual situationship). He just do it to be close to her. On the other hands, he also loves his friend Yoongi. Even if he feels there’s ongoing animosity towards him, he also respects Yoongi’s boundaries, he knows his place in the situation and doesn’t overstep. He could have been happy that oc and yoongi are having issues but no.. jk thought i dont want to put a wedge in their relationship, i also dont want to put a wedge in my friendship with yoongi.. but oc’s pull is too strong for him to completely stay away. Jk and oc are attracted to each other.. i cant tell if oc is into him outside of the bedroom. I actually want them to end up together but if not, then it’s understandable..

Honestly OC and Yoongi definitely loved each other a hell of a lot, that’s for sure! But will that be enough for them to make it through the mess?? And yeah OC always thinks about Yoongi first! She suggested the whole thing just to make him happy🥹

As for the flashback, definitely, yes. I think things would have been a lot different if Jungkook had approached her first. And I agree, Yoongi has indeed been micro cheating on her, hasn’t he??

Hi Sibi!!! I just finished catching up with MV so I’m back and OMG WHAT A FUCKING ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS THIS HAS BEEN SIBI WTF??!!!! Ok first of all MV Yoongi is not good for my health because with every chapter he gets hotter AND cuter and I just can’t deal with that considering that real Yoongi very smoothly managed to infiltrate himself and made permanent home right besides Joon in the bias spot in my heart so you can imagine how melting and tummy-butterfly inducing every action of MV Yoongi is right now, like I’m suffering because he’s just so romantic even when he tries to hide it behind his colder persona, and oh how he protects his princess 😭 and the dance they shared among the fireflies???? god please i beg you send me a yoongi please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

And then we have our sweet little Kookie, he has come so far with his training! Sibi you had me all those chapters feeling so anxious for her and for Yoongi and god it was torture, that’s how wonderful your writing and storytelling skills are. I swear that from that chapter I was reading and I kept repeating “oh Yoongi is going to fuck him up so BAD when he finds out, god he’s going to destroy him in an instant” and then of course that sentence included Tae too cause boy 🙄🙄🙄🙄 shit went down hill so fast.

On a final note because this ask got too long, I’m so sorry for that 😅 on the latest chapter I LOVED when OC went to confront dumbass #1 and dumbass #2 especially when she put jimin back in his place like YESSSS QUEEN SHOW HIM WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE, and you really made me go in full panic mode when her whole family was dying, that was so cruel 😭 and now I’m so curious about our oc! Was she just in shock from killing someone and almost loosing her family? Or is there something else going on after what happened? (I’m with everyone else on the “now she’s a witch” train jsksksk) also in so curious to know what’s going on with Tae because I KNOW there’s something else going on with him and that’s the reason for his off behaviour especially considering the times he’s felt confused about the anger directed at him (the two times he’s asked “me? Okay so get ready for a long ass ask, because I am ready to gush about 'No harm list' (I'm sorry in advance for it, please forgive me)

So I started yesterday because I love Mafia AU, and right from the start the story was so interesting with the fight, how she helped him but then it ended up being him helping her, and then helping each other (yay teamwork!!) And I just wanted to know how it was gonna develop!! And then there was the whole story with daewon and hoseok (who hides his secrets very well) but I mean he had to be in a gang because he literally killed the guy who killed his sister... and in my head, it was blaring alarms everywhere!!! But dumb ass reader was too much of an idiot to put 2 and 2 together... as always!!

And then they all grew on her (I mean how could you resist any of them really). I'm not gonna lie, I thought something was gonna happen with jimin... because he is the best, come on!!! He is sweet, caring, hot, intelligent, etc. (Also I don't if I was just dumb or really hadn't read correctly coz I didn't know Jin and Namjoon were thing until he woke him up with the contract in the morning, but I do have the attention span of a fly)

The characters are super interesting, especially taehyung and namjoon. The former because he's hot then he's cold (yes I just referenced Katy perry), but he has so much history and such a difficult background and there is so much potential with his character!!! Especially with the whole kissing thing from chapter 10, that was something I definitely did not see coming... And namjoon.... aaaah namjoon, I honestly dont know what to do with him!! Like I think he is intelligent and he knows what he's doing, and he's caring and then he pulls shit like with taehyung and suddenly the only thing I wanna do is strangle him!!! But he must have more things to him that explain why he's acting like that, and I wonder when we're gonna learn about his backstory and what are him into this weirdly ruthless leader that still cares.

And I'm so happy that hosoek is back to being her friend!! I was over the moon when that arrived!!!

And to finish, I really wonder how the whole kissing jungkook-kissing taehyung thing is gonna go down... is she gonna go to taehyung because she thinks that jungkook is acting like that because he's indebted?? Is she gonna go to jungkook because taehyung can be a little cold?? Is she gonna go to neither?? Is she gonna pull a weird move and kiss jimin so she doesn't have to choose?? (I know far fetched but I really want something to happen between them!!! Yes I'm acting like a 5 year old that doesn't get what she wants and constantly talks about it)

Anyway, all of that to say that I simply adore this story. I love the storyline you came up with and I can't wait to see what happens next!!! But please take care of yourself, eat and drink enough, take some breaks and sleep especially during exams season!!!

I don’t get ask very often and I always get so excited when I do so to get one this long is just 😭🥺💕 so let’s dive in

First off yess thank you for calling out my dumb ass for not letting the reader catch on on Hoseok was in BTS I think that’s one of my biggest plot holes, and the main reason why is bc I changed my mind abt her knowing abt BTS pretty last minute in the drafting process when I was writing last year. So some of the details in the backstory and her time with Hobi is pretty muddy. I constantly think about going back and changing it lmao but at that moment I’m content with her being dumb.

As for the shipping... I don’t plan to drag out this love triangle nonsense for too long I hate any kind friendships getting complicated over love interests, so you will have answers soon. Unfortunately, I can tell you for sure that it is not Jimin. But don’t fret! Jimin actually gets his own spin off story one day! It’s About him falling in love with an environmental activist who hires him to make bombs. It’s going to be such fun to write! You may be able to find some more details on it if you explore the tag No Harm List on my blog it might be pretty deep tho.

As for Namjin. Believe it or not you are not the first person to say you didn’t get that they were together. Which is interesting bc I feel like I leave some good hints and have them refer to each other as “lover” a good bit along the journey but that’s definitely a plot point I should go back and polish somewhere for clarity sake. Thank you for pointing it out!

As for Namjoon you’ve heard a good bit of his back story from other peoples POV like suga and J-Hope. And honestly there’s not too much more to say at the moment. The reason he is the way he is is because power is hard. It’s hard to get. It’s hard to keep. And when you’re a mob boss you need to be ruthless and sometimes that ruthlessness hurts the ones you care about. I do have to say I think he’s one of my weaker characters on the emotional spectrum. I’ve only approached big picture plot points from his POV. But I think I will challenge myself to think a bit more in his perspective and delve into his character a bit more for clarity sake.

Tiktok Army you’re disappointing..

And i guess saying disappointing is an understatement ‘cause.. Obviously i’m not talking about everyone there are good gems out there but some people really are disgusting.

So i come back home (obviously you can tell that i missed Hobi’s live T-T) So i decided to catch up with what i’ve missed and since i want to be sitting around not doing much to watch the whole live i decided to watch snippets which allowed me to know that Jimin visited Hobi (My Jihope heart was so happy AAAAH!!) Right! 

Naturally, i was so giddy about it, it was cute, i loved their dancy dances, was reading tweets about their lil conversation yada yada and decided to go on tiktok usually after a live i get snippets on my fyp too and well i wasn’t wrong second video on my fyp was Jihope, i’ll link it right here :

Now the reason why i’m linking the video instead of just downloading it and posting it is because of the comments. The video is nice, just our Jihope being Jihope nothing new, obviously unless one is blind yes Jimin went for Hobi’s neck for a peck or maybe not can’t tell with the angle but a peck nonetheless. While some comments were lovely but other comments looked like this :

The thing that’s upsetting about this is, you know what imma be frank with y’all, if you wanna joke about it you do you but do it privately, do it in your chat groups or with a friend or whatever but don’t post that shit publicly, you might be wondering why? i’ll tell you.

First of all, BTS are gay until it’s Jimin and JK and suddenly they’re brothers, they got called liars for exactly the same shit they’re joking about right now. Second of all, since when is Jimin a play toy to the members? Getting passed around or going around sucking everybody’s neck? This is not an A/B/O au where Jimin is a fragile and weak Omega with 6 Alphas or some shit. 

It’s bad enough that some people have the audacity to make aus with that plot actually, where Jimin is actually being passed around between the members to satisfy their sexual desires and fantasies. Don’t get me wrong you do you when you’re writing a fiction but inspiring your characters from real people with such plots.. I’m not even going to talk about other more disgusting and disturbing plots i came across. 

Just because he did that with one person, it doesn’t mean he goes around doing the same thing to all the members. Yes i get it, it’s a joke, i’m not a party-pooper i also like joking around as long as it brings no harm to anyone, do people even realize that whatever shit they say online can be picked up by the media? Let’s go on your “Just a joke” train and keep it that way right? When the next day media start posting articles about how Jimin is a .. I’m not even going to say the word this infuriates me actually, going around pleasuring the members then what? You think everyone knows not to believe Koreaboo or Music Mundial or Allkpop? 

Your “simple joke” can turn to a nasty rumor about Jimin and then later you’ll be fighting those medias about it, about the same stupid ass joke you thought was funny a few days ago! Grow the fuck up! Some shit can be said online and some shit is best kept away from prying eyes. Y’all are nasty!

Here to tell the whole world to stop living through some rom-com style, heteronormative fantasy of Jikook. Last night’s live seems to be such a big deal for so many of you and I am here like, buddy?? You all really thought ,one fine day, JK would wake up and be like, my ring finger has JM on it, as in JIMIN??? If they are in fact a couple, there’s simply no way they will come out any time soon, if at all. Jk is 25, he’s very successful, but he’s still very young with at least two decades of career ahead. JM is just 27, known as the idol’s idol, pretty much acknowledged as a role model for the idol space. They live in Korea, and the current regime is anything but pro LGBTQIA+. As many sus moments as we have seen, they are still in the CLOSET, if they are intact together? They aren’t gonna kiss each other in public and make it official you no? At least not for the foreseeable future.

I can’t emphasise this enough- it may seem all sunshine and rainbows, because we all are wearing tinted glasses, but being queer in a queerphobic country with cameras on you 24*7 isn’t even remotely fun. It’s even harder if you have images to live up to and roles to play. As someone who has been living in Asia, I can promise you, the tables would turn so fast if they even approach the subject. They were just recently Busan expo ambassadors? You know that means practically having supremely close connections with the government? Their families, the communities they are a part of, the group, the company, everyone would have to face such strong repercussions. I am a nobody and my nonhet sexuality is a nightmare to navigate. I have lost friends and families over it. Imagine doing that while being hella popular?

Just wish them happiness and move on. If they are together, they are. We have no control over it, only over the narrative. Please just please don’t expect a mega coming of age film. It’s embarrassing. We have no right to be hurt because he said what he said. Either it is the truth or he’s trying to protect something. Either ways, respect it. Also, they are K-pop artists after all, of course they are very globally renowned, but after all they are K-pop stars. Their narratives, their medium, their stories, we will never have first hand access to. We are seeing them through a tunnel, because we just don’t have access to many things. For instance, JM is so so popular in SK and many other Asian countries and pretty much receives endless love. Like the culture minister of the country says “everyone knows JIMIN”. He isn’t tortured or tired, he’s very loved and he knows it. JK just because first Korean artist to perform at WC, he’s made the country very proud. We see them as these characters in this world, they aren’t. They are full people, with agency. Let them do what they want to. Twitter is vile and bullies playground. But that doesn’t make it a reality. They get hate, and they probs see it. But they also get love and know it.

It’s so sexy and cerebral and the main characters are so hot. Jimin is just a guy trying to live his life, but whatever is brewing between him and his best friend’s sister is driving him insane. He wants to be a good guy, but she just isn’t playing fair.

Are You Sure? by @cutechim is such a swoon-worthy and touching piece of wonderful. I tell you I was MOVED. This is beautiful and emotional and EXTREMELY satisfying. Taehyung’s best friend has a sister who he has always secretly adored. When she comes to him and asks for some intimate experience, he isn’t strong enough to say no—not when she’s everything he ever wanted.

Drivers License and Detour by @gyukult is sweet and tender and just a fantastic coming of age story. The reader has been in love with her brother’s best friend, Park Jimin, for almost all of her youth... but what is going on in his head?It’s a tender story that really warms the heart. AND I am happy there is more coming. I would read about these two all day. She published the second part and oh my gosh it’s so incredibly perfect I could scream. This was just such a beautiful journey every step of the way.

Milestone by @1kook is probably one of the first brother’s best friend BTS fics I read and it is amazing. I adore it so much. Because Jungkook is your brother’s best friend he is there for every milestone in your life. But you’ve both grown up now and neither of you are kids anymore. It’s hot. Like really hot. Dialogue and set up are so sharp and fast paced I really loved every second.

Young God by @njssi is scorching hot smut with complicated feelings and warm revelations. You think it’s going somewhere and then it goes somewhere else and honestly it is so awesome the whole time. Jungkook was always your brother’s sweet little friend, but he’s returned determined to show you that he is all grown up.

Tease by @caiuscassiuss floored me. I loved it so much! I spent the whole story just squealing happily about everything. This story has it all. It’s scorching hot. It’s enemies-to-lovers. It’s Taehyung. Jungkook’s sister and Kim Taehyung do not get along AT all—so she decides to bring him to his knees by making him desperate for her. It’s a wild and completely awesome ride.

Wasabi by @ironicarmy is a classic. Hobi is a bad boy that Namjoon vehemently refuses to let near his precious baby sister. But love is too strong a force and soon Hobi and the clever object of his desire decide that some things are worth fighting for. It’s a really sweet story of facing challenges and relying on the people you love. Warm and fuzzy feelings abound, but it’s also super hot.

Forbidden by @btssmutgalore is a masterwork blueprint for this trope. Hobi is a carefree player who falls brutally for Taehyung’s sister. They two of them eventually give in to a VERY steamy series of secret encounters and feelings get very involved. This is hot, suspenseful, and emotionally satisfying. Excellent characterizations as well.

Prohibido by @personasintro is an office AU with a twist. Namjoon is not only her brother’s best friend, he is also her boss and the two of them have incredible chemistry. Watching them pretend that they’re not insanely attracted to each other is so endearing and hot. Reader is convinced her feelings are one-sided. It’s lovely and fun. Definitely a slow burn, but worth it.

Strawberry Kisses by @kimnjss is a fic that I devoured in one sitting and then re-read again immediately. Jeon Jungkook is a player who matches with a girl on a dating app and has no idea she is the sister of his revered mentor and close friend, Min Yoongi. I laughed. I cried. I GASPED OUT LOUD a bunch. It was a whole thing. This is a hybrid social media/written AU and it’s pretty much perfect.

Tempestuous by @ppersonna is so special to me because it was written at the very beginning of my friendship with Lindy. She was looking for requests and I was quick to request my favorite trope. Lindy is bae now and this fic she wrote is marvelous. You are forced to spend the weekend in the same house with your sexy arch-rival Taehyung who just so happens to be your brother’s best friend. Naturally snarky hotness ensues.

Off Limits @floralseokjin is basically a famous entry when it comes to this trope. It’s a Jin fic and Miss Jordan writes EXQUISITE Jin characterizations. There is a hint of mistaken (or unknown) identity in this one which makes it even more fun. Sparks fly between you and a devilishly charming Kim Seokjin at a party. You don’t find out until later who he really is—and why he’s off limits.

And finally I’ll recommend my own Brother’s Best Friend fic All I Want for Christmas is You featuring a charming Taehyung who falls for Jimin’s sister. Jimin basically blackmails his best friend into escorting his sister to several holiday galas. Tae and Jimin’s sister have never gotten along, but they soon discover (through multiple pranks and mishaps) that love (and desire) are out of their control.

Not Your Fairytale by @yeojaa is incredibly sweet and tender. Erin really does emotion so well and her Yoongi characterization is honestly so nuanced and brilliant. This story is about a girl who had her heart broken and instead of canceling the cake tasting she scheduled with her philandering ex-fiancé, she wrangles the tsundere best friend of her brother to pretend to be him.

Brother’s Best Friend by @bts-hyperfixation is a short and sweet moment between two people who have been fighting their attraction for each other. It is so hot and delicious I tell you. You’re in trouble and the person you call is probably the person you shouldn’t—but you aren’t the only one willing to take a risk tonight.

Off Limits by @kaddiiction will break your heart and put it back together again. This one was recommended to me by a reader and I cannot thank them enough. It is fantastic. Jimin is a player but he crosses the line when he begins a liaison with his best friend’s sister. Still there is far more to this situation—and Jimin—than meets the eye.

It is a hybrid fic where the reader is a cat hybrid and Hoseok is the brother of her best friend who comes to stay with her while her bestie is away... It is so tender yet SO HOT. I’m telling you I cannot even keep count of how many times I have read it.

Theophany by @ilikemesometaetaes was a JOURNEY. It made me so emotional. Like the story centers around art a lot, but let me tell you, this fic IS art. Jimin is just the man of my whole dreams in this piece as the brother of a former best friend with an irresistible allure. It is a coming of age story with the most beautiful twist. AND THE LOVE SCENE—oh my gosh I screamed it was so good. This story is just so so good.

Run by @neonlights92 is Jungkook’s story in the mafia universe I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH. You don’t have to read the whole series to understand it (BUT YOU SHOULD). This is best friend’s brother meets arranged marriage and honestly it’s fantastic. Jungkook doesn’t do love and affection and being forced into an arranged marriage with his sister’s friend who has always had a crush on him is just a blow to his freedom... or is she? GAH! This story—like all the stories in this universe—is superb.

The Magic to Happiness by @readyplayerhobi is a best friend’s brother meets teachers AU meets Hogwarts AU. Now... all of those are top tier tropes so finding them together is like winning the lottery. Hobi was once just a skinny kid who had obvious heart eyes for you (his sister’s best friend) but now he’s tall and confident and really attractive. The magic of this story is evident in every word of the sweet relationship that blooms between these two.

Problem with You by @monvante is so sweet and kind of hilarious. I giggled so much! Jungkook is your best friend’s brother and he is kind of too perfect and too handsome and he’s always around and you hate him and he hates you... Right? When you cross paths with the infuriating Jeon Jungkook at your best friend’s wedding, you discover that you may have been wrong about a great many things.

Show Me Yours and I’ll Show You Mine by @ktheist is so so SO fabulous. I was obsessed with this (now complete) series from the very first installment. I don't even know where to begin.

Ah yes. One of the few times army is right.

There's no way everything it's a stylistic choice, no.

I don't really think too much of clothes the stylists choose for BTS members, and there are lots of times when they were dressed in clothes that had a pride flag, or some sort of LGBTQ symbolism or meaning, but those weren't BTS own choices. So it doesn't mean much to me. In the examples you mention, his cookie character is dressed in the clothes Jimin wore for dynamite, and the jeans he wore back then had a rainbow like patch, but it wasn't really a pride flag, just colors in line.

And I think the world is pretty divided into two groups of people; one group that thinks these random stylistic choices mean something, and the others like me that think "is that stuff personal to the person or is it just random?", and for that later group, I guess the photofolio is enough. It's enough for me, at least for now.

I've always thought Jimin was queer. I kept going back and forth between gay or bisexual because I couldn't quite put my finger on what exactly he might identify as, which is honestly a first for me because I'm used to being able to pinpoint if a man likes women or not. I like women. It's easy for me to know when somebody else likes them too. And as I've said before, guys are painfully obvious when it comes to girls. But Jimin was never obvious about his attraction to women for me, so I was okay with just thinking he's someone that "loves people". When I was younger, there were a few times of me coming out and I used to say "I love people", because it was true, it's true. If there's someone I could describe just using the word "love", it's Jimin.

I won't link the post because I talk about JK there too and it's not the topic right now, so I'll just post the parts about Jimin.

One of the reasons I first started thinking Jimin was not straight was because he had really complex? emotions towards Jungkook. All the other members call each other cute, handsome, attractive, and some variations of that. They get annoyed at each other, they sometimes look at each other with fondness, sometimes they treat each other with indifference. But Jimin had ALL of that for Jungkook. He didn't just care for Jungkook as his dongsaeng, but he also wants to kiss him, he thinks JK is funny, he thinks JK is adorable, he gets annoyed at him, he uses a softer tone of voice when he talks to him, he praises him a lot but also lovingly makes fun of him when he doesn't get the timing to speak, saying that seeing Jungkook happy was the reason he could be happy on his own birthday. You will see Jimin hugging Taehyung and looking at him affectionately or even saying he's handsome but in my opinion JM has never shown to be attracted to Taehyung. Jimin does not use the same tone of voice when he talks to Jungkook as when he talks to any other member. Jimin doesn’t often stare at people, but you can literally see the depth of Jimin’s emotions for JK when he stares at him.

All of these are just examples that came to my mind right now, but it's not only about these particular instances. It's just everything about Jimin and his reactions/emotions towards Jungkook. And it’s really rare for straight men to have these depth of emotions for other straight men, so it was one of the first things that caught my attention about JM. 

I mention Jungkook because it was the most obvious thing to me when I first became a fan, and it was the first "complex" relationship I noticed within BTS. That caught my attention, the way his reactions/feelings towards Jungkook were literally the full scope of emotions a guy could muster. Then, in his birthday live this year, Jimin said that it's not a matter of liking or disliking the members and much to my surprise, he actually said "I've developed feelings for them that are really complex."

Some people use moments of Jimin watching women's performances to say "oh look he likes women" but don't consider that he's just watching a performance and performances are supposed to be exciting and evoke emotions/reactions from the people watching. Other than those performances, there's nothing about Jimin reacting to women. And then they ignore the way Jimin would react to men literally sitting and doing nothing. We've seen Jimin (and BTS) meet a lot of guys and Jimin did not have the same attitude towards James Corden or John Legend as he had towards Shawn Mendes or the black interviewer. Jimin was not barking and huffing and rolling his eyes into his head, sweaty hands after meeting Khalid but he was after meeting Usher that same night. This difference in the way he reacts to men is enough for me to know that he's not straight. Because he's obviously attracted or at least affected by some of them in ways that he's not affected by other men. The rest of BTS they all look and act the same whether they're meeting SK's president or Brad Pitt.

Just imagine the things people would've said if instead of turning around and checking out those guys in Malta, it would had been a group of girls.

So, it's not only about the photofolio, the concepts he chose to present are just one more reason for me to think that he's not straight. It's about the photofolio, but also about all of the years that I've been watching him and listening to what he says, and learning about him.

If Namjoon or Jin suddenly came up with a concept like Jimin's, I would be confused tbh and it wouldn't mean anything to me, because they've never shown signs of being anything other than heterosexual.

Sexuality can't possibly be only about a limp wrist or the time that guy wore a skirt. Sexuality is something that doesn't always have defined characteristics, because it's everywhere, because it's a way of living life and life is so big.

Inmediately, this particular verse in alien superstar comes to mind lol

I will go ahead and tell you also that lgbtq don't even think the same way straight people do. Most of us have really different thought processes and I think even a deeper sensitivity and understanding of issues that straight people don't. From birth, most of us had to think out of the box to blend in, we've had to rearrange our vocabulary to keep that part of self private from people that might not accept us, we've just grown up differently.

Once when you've really come to terms with your sexuality, it should feel coherent, it should be cohesive with everything you are and everything you do, and trying to break that apart into pieces is only literally going to break you apart. Some people are better at handling it than others. I think is not too crazy to talk about Jimin struggling with that particular cohesiveness when he was younger.

I really don't want to say too much about what he might've struggled with or not because I believe his words are more than enough, and anyone who's been through something similar, or who has a loved one that's been through it, they will get it.

Then there's this particular answer he gave on his weverse magazine 2021 that immediately caught my attention, and I wasn't the only one, because right away there were lots of people saying that they had a similar experience when coming out to their parents, that those were words their parents used.

He's definitely been on a very important journey.

That was exactly the initial description of the photofolio.

Personally, from the very beginning I've looked at the photos as a story. A story in which freedom was the end, the last chapter, the conclusion. Jimin's ultimate form, if you will. The part of the story where all of his parts come together in harmony and he's, well, free. Free from the thoughts and loneliness he felt in that other concept, free from the "rough" parts of himself when he's wearing the suit, and from being split into all those mannequins with masks. Even the way he described it, as an "unrefined" boy talks about being free. What could be more free than a child? Than someone who's in the most beautiful moment of their lives, someone who doesn't have burdens yet.

I do wish tho that we could've known if he decided on the statues. There's a very obvious between the photos when he's posing with the "female" statue, than when he's posing with the "male" one. In the photos with the suit, he's somber, and the statue is cracked tho roughly put together, and he just stands next to it but doesn't interact with it that much, or at all. Whereas in the colored concept he has a "male" statue, and he's touching it, and staring at it, the statue is full of life and color. I jokingly told a friend "Jimin in his Troye Sivan bloom era". So I wish I could know if he decided that, or maybe he just delivered his ideas to the staff and they prepared it, which would be just as meaningful because it came from his own thoughts. Greek mythology has always been associated to both masculinity, and femininity. Greek marble statues have been considered the beauty standard for men of that time, and it's been used as "gay" imagery in pieces of media because it's about men in their ultimate physical form, you know? So I do believe that it's logical for people to think that the most, or of the most forward "messages" is about sexuality and gender. There's a lot to be talked about and thought about gender and sexuality and mythology. That would probably be a post even longer than this one, and I would have to link bibliography and look for images that would help me get my point across and sound more intellectual than I actually am lol, and I'm too lazy for that. Let's just say that ancient Greeks (and Romans, I believe?) used to think homosexuality was THE BOMBBB 😎 they thought gay sex made a man more masculine and virile.

Precisely, I joked about Troye's Bloom because in his music video, he also uses a montage that mixes images of statues like the ones in Jimin's photofolio, with clips of naked men.

Jimin could've used faceless, genderless mannequins for the suit and freedom concepts as well, but he didn't. The statues paint, to me, a more concrete image. I wish I knew for sure that he chose this, or that he delivered his ideas to staff in a way that they understood perfectly he wanted to say something that would be easier to convey with the Greek statues.

I don't think people are reading too much into it if they think it's about his sexuality. He obviously isn't in a position where he can just come out and explicitly state his identity, but the subtext is there. He's not the first one to be "subtle" about this stuff, and he won't be the last either.

For the record, he might not even want to come out, and I know it's difficult for some people to grasp it, but not coming out doesn't mean being scared or anything; some people just want to keep their love life private.

I talked the other day about the world LOVE being meaningful in cultures, or for people that just can't go out and explicitly talk about queernes, and rainbows are obviously that as well. Not to involve his family or anything, but just as an example of how these things DO mean something for anyone who gets it. I mentioned before his dad's cafe posting this on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

Maybe rainbows any other day wouldn't have a lot of significance, but they posted this on that exact day to send a message, as subtle as it might be, and as insufficient it might be for some people, it's okay. It's what they can do.

Not to be me but if these photos had been of any other BTS member, especially a couple of them, we wouldn't hear the end of it. But with Jimin these things always went under the radar for some reason.

I think Jimin is doing what he can, too, and I think it's beautiful. His sincerity and his ways of being unapologetically himself were always beautiful.

Jungkook thought his high school reunion would be a walk in the park. After all, he has a great job in the city, a beautiful apartment, and an all around great life.

Ignoring all the litany of text messages asking to meet up, he manages to avoid running into you, floating to a bar in the corner where all his old soccer friends are drinking. He just wants to enjoy the last bit of positivity his childhood has to offer, and it doesn’t involve you.

You’ve already been to his house two times this week, his parents are more than happy to feed you and treat you like a daughter. He’s seen more than enough from you.

Yet from the few hours he settles in his hometown, Jungkook can never get away from a conversation that doesn’t involve you.

His friends do nothing but indulge in all the bullshit Jungkook had to go through in highschool. When you asked him out to every single school dance under the sun, only to be rejected every single time. When you packed egg salad sandwiches for him every single day after soccer practice, only for him to secretly throw them out. When you openly waxed poetic about your crush at the senior poetry slam, even though it was very clearly about Jungkook. Absolutely terrifying.

“Heard she stayed behind to stay with her family,” Taehyung remarks casually after the onslaught of terrible memories of you and Jungkook’s antics, “what a loser. Wouldn’t she want to get out of this run down town?”

In fact, you love this town a whole lot. You’ve said it more than once to Jungkook on your walks home from school, trying to get him to watch the sunset on your favorite tree upon the hill, but he’d simply slam the door in your face.

“Can’t deny she’s cute though,” Jimin shrugs, taking a sip of his mysteriously colored drink. It’s magenta, the color of his recently dyed hair.

Jungkook, feeling confident and sure of himself, feels a sickening need to feed into this negativity. After all, it’s his boys and he needs to impress. “Yeah, she’s pretty but she’s a fucking weirdo,” he grins when all his friends wolf whistle in agreement.

“Would’ve loved to get a lunch made with love though,” Jimin teases, jabbing a pinky in Jungkook’s chest, “those egg salad sandwiches cut into little hearts, absolutely adorable.”

“Please, I’m sure those eggs have salmonella in them. She got them from the neighbor’s dirty farm,” Jungkook waves him off, taking another sip of liquid courage, “I threw that shit out, I was better off starving.”

“Oh yeah! And she hung out with that farm freak Kim Namjoon,” Taehyung howls, slamming his drink on the counter so hard that the ice plops out, “what a pair, those two. He didn’t know his left from right! Dumb as shit.”

“Right,” Your one and only friend Kim Namjoon, one he always assumed by association was just as weird as you. Jungkook shakes his head, finishes his glass and calls haughtily for another one, “Namjoon probably pitied her, after all, they’re two peas in a pod. An idiot and a weirdo, a perfect pair! No clue why she was so obsessed with me.”

Crack!

The floor is littered with glass, sliding all across the bar and onto Jungkook’s leather loafers. Dropping glass is completely normal in a bar late at night, but what makes it horrifying is that you’ve been behind him this entire time.

“You can fucking talk shit about me all you want,” you whisper, and for some strange reason he can hear you loud and clear in the noisy bar, “but how dare you be mean to Namjoon when he’s been nothing but kind to you. Fuck you, Jungkook!”

“W-wait, the glass!” You’re running out with nothing but thin black sandals to protect your feet. Jungkook sounds freaking pathetic, unable to formulate a mature, coherent response as you storm out of the bar. The laughingstock of the school, being followed out by the throws of high school girls and boys that always seemed to bother you just because you made the mistake of falling for the most popular boy in school.

It’s been a few weeks into summer and Jungkook’s worried. No calls, no texts. In fact, you’ve blocked him on every social media possible.

He should be over the moon, he should be happy, he’s free. He should be calling back Jennie, who was eager to hook up with him after rekindling at the reunion. Unfortunately as always, he’s clouded by you.

He never thought you’d cut him off like this. After all, you were like rubber, always bouncing back to him, ever since you were little kids.

The silence is loud, deafeningly loud.

“Honey, why don’t you go see your friend? She made you lunch!”

You’re devious. You don’t even want Jungkook’s parents to know how much he’s royally fucked up. His mom edges his plate closer to his body, silently forcing him to eat since it’s already the afternoon and he’s lazed all day. He only has a few days left of his vacation before he has to return to the city, and he’s done absolutely nothing.

His mom is staring at him expectantly, and he takes a small sandwich from the plate. He groans when he finds that it’s absolutely delicious.

“What are you doing here,” you mumble, digging holes in the dirt with the tip of your sneaker-clad toe.

“I came to make things right,” Jungkook replies softly, not wanting to disturb the peace.

You are right, the sunset is beautiful from the hill. The view overlooks the city he works out, and you can make out the incessant lights and city fanfare. Yet, the city pales in comparison to the warm orange sunset, melting beautifully between the clouds. How could he have missed so much?

When he sits down next to you on the mint green picnic blanket, he tries not to react when you flinch away from him, pointedly putting space between you two.

“I find that hard to believe,” it’s amazing how so much can change from a couple of sentences, “I think you’re just trying to feel good about yourself. I should’ve realized how selfish you really are.”

“Please,” Jungkook reasons, leaning in closer. There’s nowhere for you to move, with your flannel clad body pressed up against the bark of the tree, “I can be better, for us.”

He doesn’t think, he doesn’t breathe. He presses his lips to yours, chaste and sweet. Something that even his high school self would be impressed by. It’s perfect, the sun is setting, the view is impeccable, and you’re all alone in your favorite place in the world with your favorite person in the world. It’s just what you wanted all these years.

And just when Jungkook thinks you’ll kiss him back—

Summary: Jungkook dearly wants to be kind like you. He wants to be so sweet, and gentle, and soft like you’re with him all the time; yet all he does is tease and pick on you, it seems.

Jungkook isn’t kind.

He likes to portray himself as such, whenever it’s needed, but he’s unable to quite make this characteristic a part of himself truly. It’s not like he’s a bad person, not at all; he’s helpful, caring, and well mannered. But he’s mean, he finds it funny when he gets onto someone else’s nerves. It’s like playing a game for him; and he loves winning. He’s good at it; it’s natural for him.

Then there’s you. You’re even more awkward with strangers than he is (which says a lot), but you’re everything he wants to be. You’re so soft spoken, always seeming to know what exactly to say in any situation. You’re kind, always thinking about everyone around you before you think about yourself, typically asking everyone else’s opinion first before you make up your own. You don’t like it when people fight, you never get possessive over things like he does. It’s even the tiniest things to him that make you seem so goddamn angelic; like that one time he whined about the fact that you got the last pack of butter cookies, immediately taking one for yourself to stuff between those soft looking lips, before shyly giving him the rest of the pack- still almost full. He had taken them without thanking you. He thinks about these moments a lot. He wants to treat you like Jimin does whenever you two interact. He’s so sweet with you, easily complimenting you and making you blush with his words, always playfully holding you close without ever making you uncomfortable. It’s weird to Jungkook how much that pisses him off the most. Whenever he’s alone in a room with you, you look uncomfortable- but when it’s Jimin, or Taehyung, you seem at ease. You joke around, and hug them like it’s second nature, while at the same time, you can’t look him into his eyes at any point of time.

He hates it.

He’s talked to Yoongi about it, after he’s seen you leave his studio one day. He knows you sing, he’s heard your voice, has saved every single cover song you’ve made on his phone to listen to them whenever he needs to just shut off his mind and think about nothing. He wants to do a duet with him, yet he knows he won’t be able to ever publish it because of his position in the industry. It frustrates him, yet he would be happy just singing with you for fun- he doesn’t need to publish it, he doesn’t need anyone else’s opinion on it; but he can’t ask you, it doesn’t matter how hard he tries. He can’t get the words out, even teased you for your voice before.

“You sound like a kid!”

He wants to take it back so desperately, but now, weeks after that comment, it would be weird wouldn’t it? It would just make him look like the fool he knows he is. So now he’s sitting in Yoongis studio, listening to your voice by second hand of you will, having been too unsure to come inside while you were recording. He didn’t want to make you uncomfortable. “She sounds great, no? Really like the slight tilts she has here..” Yoongi murmurs, placing the visual pointer of his mouse on the spot he’s talking about. He’s right, and Jungkook wants to say that, but he simply shrugs. “You don’t like it?” He asks, and Jungkook again, simply lifts his shoulders.

“Not my style, I guess.”

But Yoongi sees past that attitude as he raises his eyebrow questioningly. “Since when? You sing the same kind of songs all the time too.” He says, and Jungkook just chews on the inside of his lip. “You feeling competition?” Yoongi teasingly asks, and Jungkook scoffs.

“I’ve been trained for years, she’s a simple YouTuber. There’s no reason for me to feel competitive.”

But Yoongi suddenly laughs, burying his face in his hand as he stops the song. “Do you have a crush on her or something? You’re acting weird as hell Jungkook.” He says, and looks at Jungkook, who seems like he doesn’t react- only the tips of his ears grow red, as Yoongi laughs again, breathlessly as usual. “Oh my god you do! Little Jungkookie’s got the hots, I can’t believe it!” He barks out, and Jungkook whines.

“I don’t!” He says. “I absolutely don’t. She’s way too shy, and she’s so girly and all..” he complains, but Yoongi continues to smile. “What?”

“Nothing, nothing. Topic change then.” He says, and Jungkook nods. “Why were you and Taehyung fighting yesterday? Heard you’ve got him quite bad with a pillow.” He asks, and Jungkook groans.

“You said we’re changing the topic!” He says loudly, and Yoongi seems to have the time of his life.

“I am! How should I know the fight was about her?” He asks, and Jungkook kicks his legs with frustration.

“It wasn’t!” He said, and Yoongi raises his eyebrow, resting his head on his hand.

“Why are you getting so defensive then?” He asks.

“Because he shouldn’t send her a topless picture of him like that.” He says.

“I thought it wasn’t about her?” He chuckles.

“Fuck you.” Jungkook retorts, and it’s where Yoongi draws the line.

“Hey hey, calm down yeah? Didn’t mean to poke too much.” He says, and Jungkook nods, apologizing under his breath. “I thought you didn’t like her?” He asks, and Jungkook shrugs again.

“Never said that. But she’s so awkward around me.” He says, now a bit more defeated.

“Ever tried being nice to her?” Yoongi asks, while he continues working on the track to take some pressure off the maknae.

“I don’t know..!” He whines and throws his head back. “In my mind it’s so easy; go up to her, say hello, maybe tell her she looks nice, done!” He exclaims. “And then I say hello and screw it up by making a joke on her account and boom, congrats, fucked it up again.” Jungkook sighes, and The rapper doesn’t say something for a moment until he responds.

“You’re just not like that, I guess.” He explains to the younger one. “But you could try to tone it down a bit. Some of the things you say are actually quite mean.” He scolds gently, and Jungkook nods.

“I don’t know how to do that though.” He says.

“Wrap your compliments up in you remarks.”

“How?” The younger one asks.

“Well, you can’t say she looks nice, right?” The older one asks, and Jungkook nods. “But you always call her shortie.” Again, a nod. “Tell her she looks like a doll.”

“But isn’t that mean too?” He asks, and Yoongi snaps his fingers.

“It’s one of those comments that makes you think. Is it an insult? A compliment? You don’t have to go all in. Tease her in a way that can be taken positively as well. She’s smart enough to get innuendos like that.” He explains, and Jungkook seems to understand as he nods.

Maybe he’ll try that next time.

The next time you’re visiting them, Jungkook is as ready as he’ll ever be to make things count. As you take off your shoes, and hang up your red jacket, he snickers, as he walks by. “What’s up red riding hood?” He says, and he can hear Jimin chuckle from the couch as you follow him into the living room. “She looks like a Disney character with that bag and the jacket.” He says teasingly, and to his own surprise, he can see the edges of your lips move upwards into a shy smile, because he remembers vividly how you'd once told Jimin how much you liked the old classic disney films instead of the new ones.

It’s working, and it’s making him feel daring. Jimin retorts something along the lines of if he’s the wolf in that case and if he would eat her, and he finds his head suddenly on your shoulder, gently reaching over your now seated form on the couch to steal a dumpling from Jimin as he speaks.

“Nah, I’d only eat the ugly ones.” And this time, you’re actually giggling.

It makes his skin tingle.

And the night goes on like that, his typical picking covered in icing sugar, as he watches you become restless on your spot on the couch across from him. He grows addicted to the view, of that sight of your teeth digging into your lip as you grow giddy under his hidden compliments, and Jimin seems to catch up on it pretty quickly. He watches in fascination, as Jungkook keeps his eyes on you, and Jungkook himself feels a pull on his heart when he states that he's slightly (very) upset that you're leaving so early, even though it's almost one in the morning and he typically never even so much as waves you goodbye whenever you leave.

He doesn't mind the slight bullying from his hyungs after he'd waved after your leaving form before you dissappear from his sight.

Jungkook isn't kind.

He likes to portray himself as such, whenever it’s needed, but he’s unable to quite make this characteristic a part of himself truly. It’s not like he’s a bad person, not at all; it's just that he can't help himself when it comes to you. He's quite the sadist really, always bathing in the slight pout and amusing anger radiating off of you whenever he does something to rile you up. It's just like now; even though he knows you hate it, he loves to take advantage of the difference in height between the two of you. He laughes while holding his bowl of cereal while you struggle on the very tips of your toes in the kitchen, trying to reach the pack of sweet breakfast treats that he had placed way higher than necessary.

But it's when you climb onto the counter that several things happen.

First, it's the unintended panty-shot he gets, his pupils practically zooming in on the soft pink fabric on display for his greedy self, making him feel like a schoolboy that just sneaked a glimpse of a naughty magazine his friend had brought into class. It makes his mind fill with images of you, oh-so sweetly laying underneath his form as he pulls the cotton fabric to the side, ready and wanting as you patiently wait for him to connect your souls and bodies in the most intimate of ways.

The other thing however wipes away those images, as his doe eyes widen. It's the realization that you're wearing pink fuzzy socks, on a marbled kitchen counter, the danger of slipping as high as it can be. He knows you're clumsy, knows you're always attracting trouble wherever you go, and it's the small moment of your knee bending, your foot a breath too far off the counter, as you suddenly loose balance. He practically throws his almost empty bowl on the kitchen table before he reaches you, luckily managing to make you fall ontop of him than the cold kitchen tiles below.

At first, it's awfully quiet- there is no one here other than him and you after all. Then, the pain hits him, drumming like the beat of his favorite song, making him drop his head on the floor with a groan. You immediately move at that, getting off of him as you look for anthing that could be the cause. It's when he holds his hand, red seeping through between his fingers that you move. Grabbing kitchen towels for first aid, you help him as best as you can, as he watches you, pain already not so bad anymore as he looks at your delicate hands working on his larger ones with so much care.

He's ready to use it to his fun, yet he stops himself when he sees the tears on our cheeks. "Why're you crying?" He asks, and you suddenly sob more loudly, sniffling as you continue to try and clean his scrape on the back of his palm with running water. He shuts the water off, his hand not even bleeding that much anyways anymore, as he holds your shoulders, body folding over a bit to properly look at you. "Hey hey, why're you crying? I'm hurt here!" He chuckles, but it doesn't seem to do much good- as you just continue.

He suddenly grows more gentle, the hug a bit awkward at first, the close proximity weird for you both, but once he starts to softly rock you both from side to side, his unhurt hand running over your back before he sloppily wipes your tears off of your face- intentionally messily to make you giggle and push his hands off. "You're such a crybaby!" He laughs, as you hold his hand in yours, looking at it again.

"Does it hurt?" You ask, looking up at him, and he swallows hardly as he suddenly grows uneasy with the closeness of you two.

"No, it's just a scratch." He says, suddenly cleaning up the kitchen table where he spilled some of his leftover cereal and milk- simply using it as something to distract himself to calm down. "Why were you even climbing there at all? That's dangerous as hell." He said. "You could've just asked me to get it for you." He ends, and its the most truthful thing he's ever said to you.

Because that's where his deepest intentions with you were hiding. He's so used to being the youngest, of getting away with so much and getting babied by everyone around him, staff or his members, that he craves to take care of someone instead for once. He wants you to ask him for help. He wants you to hide behind his back when you're terrified of Taehuyungs tickle-attacks, he wants you to loose to him when playing video games, just so he can pull you onto his lap, his hands over yours on the controller to show you how its done. He wants you to proudly tell him of any achievement you manage to make no matter how small, just to gain his praise.

He needs you to need him.

Because whenever he's with you, he knows that those compliments and that pure amazement on your face is not because you want something in return, it's simply what it is. You make him feel so appreciated, so desired, so wanted for himself and not for his outside qualities. Because at the same time he loves how passionate you get whenever you notice that you know something better than him- how excited you get when you explain something to namjoon or to Hobi. He want's you to teach him things too, he want's to know what you can do, what you're better at, not because he want's to get better than you, but because he knows you're so much smarter in so many things than he is.

It's your voice that gets him out of his internal terror.

"Oh.. I didn't want to bother you though." You meekly say, and he wants to groan at this, to throw a fit, to be frustrated with you because that's exactly what you never ever do; you could never bother him to the point where he would refuse to help. No, he wants you to bother him. "I-what?" You say, and he suddenly turns around abruptly.

"What?" He asks, terrified if what he thinks just happened really did.

"You said 'But I want you to bother me'..?" You ask, and he wants to slap himself.

"I- I mean, I meant it in like, you can bother me, it doesn't matter much, you know?" He scrambles out, drying his hands after washing his bowl and leaving it in the sink. He suddenly grows uneasy with you in the room, yet he stills at your next words as if frozen in time.

"Oh.. I-" You start, before you step closer. "Thank you then, Jungkookie. I appreciate it." But its not only that, it's the tiny sentence you say and the action that follows that simply fries his mind. "You're not so bad after all." And you place a small kiss against his cheek.

You kiss his cheek.

Your soft lips touched his skin.

And he stands there for a while longer, not knowing what to do.

Jungkook isn't kind.

But over the course of days where you start to grow more and more comfortable, more daring, and more used to understand his language, he slowly mutates into an overgrown puppy.

He demands your attention, loves the way you blush under his teasing, and craves the way you squirm around whenever he's close to you. He's almost certain he's got a chance with you, making his own creativity thrive under your spell. He takes more photos than ever before, starts to be even more active (after you'd accidentally let it slip that you actually like how strong he is and that it makes you feel safe), and all in all simply falls for you.

But its all gone to waste at a certain dinner with his hyungs, that his food suddenly tastes stale, and his appetite is gone. "I want to confess to her, you know? I think I really got a chance." Jimin says, and Yoongi glances at Jungkook, concerned for the youngest since he knows his secret crush. "I mean she even gets along with the brat here!" He playfully says, playfully hitting Jungkooks shoulder lightly, but he doesn't seem an innocent gesture in it. No, Jungkook is riled up, and suddenly stands at the table, taking his cutlery and dishes to discard them in the sink. "Jungkook?" Jimin asks, confused, but Yoongi shakes his head with a sigh after the youngest simply retreated into his room for an early night.

"Jimin, I don't think that's a good idea." Yoongi says, and Namjoon seems confused. "I don't intend to be rude, but your interest changes weekly. Now it's her, the next week its someone else. Jungkook however-" He calmly explains, ignoring the slightly offended look of the dancer across from him. "You know him. He's never shown interest before- in anyone." Jimin slowly seems to understand, as Taehyung nods at it. "He really likes her. Think about it. Once you take that step, there's no going back. There's no 'lets stay friends if we break up' because that's just awkward. There's no second chance for Jungkook."

Jimin slowly nods, suddenly without much taste for his food as well. "I didn't know, honestly."

"It was kind of hard to see not gonna lie." Hoseok chimes in, putting his chopsticks down as he swallows the last bite of food. "He's all over her recently." He explains, and everyone nods.

This wasn't just a simple crush for him.

This was full blown love.

Jungkook isn't kind.

But he also can't say no to you.

He wants to be mad, he really tried to as well. But it's just- he sees your smile and hears your voice, and he's all in your hands, ready and willing to your very command. That's how he finds himself at your tiny apartment, helping you to put up some of your latest paintings on your walls- because initially you'd asked if he or his hyungs had a ladder in his dorm, but after you'd told him you'd use it to climb up to hang some paintings, he'd instead told you he'd help you instead, just to make sure you wouldn't fall and have an accident or something.

He want's to be mad, because he knows Jimin must've made his move at this point.

You seem so at ease, so happy, your steps so light and almost jumpy he wants to cry internally at how cute you are, for someone that isn't him.

"Ah, yes, that's perfect!" You say, and he slowly steps down from your chair he'd burrowed to boost his height a little, your hands weakly trying to steady him while he finally reaches the floor again. "I've made some cold stew yesterday, do you wanna stay and eat a little?" You ask, and he wants to nod, but doesn't.

"I don't wanna intrude or something." He says, grimply smiling as he brings the chair back into the kitchen area where it came from. He hates how deflated you suddenly look, how almost sad you simply nod as you trail after him like a lost pet, something many would find bothering, yet he loved it. He loved how you were always around him like a little shadow, as if to silently stay close to him. "So, you and uhm.. Jimin?" He asks suddenly, unable to keep the words inside.You blink, once, twice, before tilting your head in question. "He.. hasn't talked to you?" He asked, and you shook your head.

"No, what would he want to talk about with me?" You ask, and a very terrifying thought comes into his mind, like a tiny devil on his shoulder whispering in his ear. He hasn't made his move yet, so if he plays his cards right, he could still steal you from him quick and swift. You'd be his, he knows you're too kind to say no if he confessed, and Jimin would stand no chance. But just like the tiny devil, a tiny angel was there as well. Who was he to interfere with someone else's romantic life? He knew Jimin liked you enough to ask you out, and even though his hyung was never one to stay long, it would be an absolute dick move of him to ruin his chances.

But he loved you.

"Oh, you mean about you and me!" You suddenly said, and Jungkook almost choked on his saliva. "He said something about you liking me, and uh, that I should confess to you even though I know you're not interested in me like that- I'm sorry if he said something weird, it's just a weird crush, I'll get over it-" But he short-circuits, and blurts out what comes to his mind before he can think about it.

"Don't!" He says, a little too loud, and your eyes grow wide. "Don't.. get over it. I-" He's suddenly confused, overwhelmed, and has no idea how to handle this sudden turn of events properly. Should he kiss you now like in the movies or something? But he should also ask if he should, otherwise its without consent, but it would kind of ruin the moment, and oh god why do his hands suddenly get sweaty, thats so gross-

It's the shy and delicate touch to the very tips of his fingers, hand splaid out on the kitchen table that you're touching with yours, cheeks red and eyes down, and he suddenly thinks, 'fuck those movies', as he leans in and kisses you, slowly, just to make sure you're okay with it.

You're so okay with it.

He grows hungry at the movement of your lips, brows furrowing as he lets himself ride this wave of pure euphoria, holding your cheeks so lightly that you barely feel his touch at all. You snake your arms around his head as you tug him down a bit more, and his neck aches, so he simply reaches for your behind to help you up on the kitchen table for better leverage. "You're-" He starts between kisses, and can't help his smile. "-mine." He ends, and you nod with excitement, just as high on happiness as he is. "Can I, like-" He starts, almost frustrated with how he can't stop his lips from chasing yours even if he's the one talking. "-Touch you?" He finally gets out, and again, you nod, even if the tips of your ears grow a bit red at the suggestive question. His hands suddenly wander, over your shoulders down your sides, before they find your thighs. He loves the softness of them, his fingers on your knees as he opens your legs so he can get even closer to you. As if on instinct, your socked feet pull him towards you, and he chuckles at that, finally slipping his tongue between your lips as you push a hand into his dark hair, making him groan. He cups the sides of your breasts at first, delicately feeling them, before he squeezes gently, getting a proper idea of their plushness under his fingers.

He loves them already.

"I don't-" He starts, and is breathless just as you are as he places his kisses on the side of your neck. "I don't wanna fuck you on the kitchen table baby." He finally gets out, and you mewl at that. "Hm?" He asks, but you shake your head, too shy to say anything to that. He suddenly reaches for your behind, lifting you against his chest as he walks around with you, making you and himself laugh as he opens the wrong door before he finally finds your bedroom- cozy and cold due to the open window you always leave so that you can sleep better at night. You sigh at the cool feeling of the sheets underneath your hot body, and he grins down at you as he can't feel anything but pure ecstasy. Suddenly, he laughs, and groans lodly against your chest as he lets his forehead rest against it.

"What?" You ask between a laugh, and he begins to whine.

"I don't have a condom, fuck." He drawls out, and he really feels like an idiot. He's a fully grown man, he should have shit like that with him at all times, especially when he knows he's gonna visit his crush- but its so sudden, so unprepared, that he simply didn't think this would ever happen. He's deflated, painfully hard, and frustrated with himself, as you speak up again.

"Uhm, theres an orange handbag in the bathroom, its like, next to the shower. I think I still have one in there."You say, and he looks up questioningly. "It was a joke-present from a friend, please don't ask." You say, growing shy again as he simply chuckles, before getting up and searching for the bag you mentioned. It's safe to say that he doesn't only find the condom, but also a still fully packaged vibrator toy, in the same bag. His interest is definetely woken, but he decides against using it to tease you this time.

He'd get his chance soon.

But in that moment, as he climbs ontop of the bed again, it's all about you and him- its not about mindblowing sex or unusual experiences. He just wants to be inside you, close to you, he wants to claim you in ways that only lovers can. He's surprised, when he takes off his shirt, that you suddenly hold your arms high.

You're absolutely adorable in his eyes.

He chuckles as he helps you out of your sweater, kissing your nose, your cheeks, your lips, as he unhooks your bra to finally get a skin to skin feel of your breasts. He loves it even more like this, warm and soft under his palms, and you mewl in enjoyment as he continues his antics. He doesn't even notice when you'd discarded your shorts and underwear, his pants gone in a flash as his inked fingers reach between your legs to sloppily prepare you for him.

He knows he's a bit more on the.. bigger side, to say the least, a grower more than a shower, and it used to make him nervous in a weird kind of way. You're so delicate, so sweet, that he doesn't want to hurt you, and hes slow and steady as he finally enters you after putting on his protection. But you take it, you're such a champ, and pull him towards you by his neck as he moves slowly.

He picks up his pace at your demand, lost in euphoria as he lets himself go, lets himself enjoy as his mind is filled with your voice, your sounds, your scent, your everything. This is what he wanted, this is where he wants to stay for the rest of time. Not nescessarly buried withing you (although that's not a bad sound he thinks), but in your embrace, within your presence. He want's to stay at your side forever, keep you close to him so no one can hurt you, not even yourself.

He comes with a whine, an arch of his back, and his fingers on your pearl, desperate to get you over the edge as well.

It works.

And he's happy, exhausted, and absolutely in love as he falls down the mattress at your side.

"I always thought it would be weird." You said after you'd both taken a shower and cleaned up properly. He'd texted his hyungs, telling them with obnoxious emoticons that he's spending the night with his girlfriend, and Jimin plus Yoongi had reacted with a vomiting emoji.

Yet they were happy.

"What would be weird?" Jungkook asks, his hand running up and down your arm as you laid next to him, snuggled up onto his body.

"You know, having sex." You said, and it takes a moment before he suddenly snaps his head to you.

"Wait, that was your first time?!" He exclaimed, utterly shocked at it as he'd been convinced you weren't a virgin. You have had boyfriends before, he knew that, hell, he'd seen them too, and considering you were pretty close agewise he couldn't imagine. He feels bad about it, if he'd known, he would've made it more special, hell he would've asked you more times if you were okay with him taking something so precious from you. Now you could never get it back and he'd fucked it up.

"I mean, kind of?" You explained, suddenly hiding your face. "I mean, I've done, like, stuff with men before.. and I also used a.. you know, 'thing', but like, never the real.." You tried to come up with different names for the things you wanted to say, yet you simply ceased to talk.

Jungkook chuckled. "You used what? A dildo? Like, a fake dick?" He said, and you hit his chest with a whine, utterly mortified by his way of talking. "Come on I saw that vibrator in your bag there, but I never though you were a virgin!" He said, and you whined again.

"Technically I wasn't!"

He scoffed playfully. "Baby your first time was with a toy considering what you just told me, that STILL means you were a virgin!" He argued, and you groaned, trying to get out of his grasp now. "Come on, at least tell me if my dick was better than that rubber-cock?" He asked, and laughed full on at the way you hid your face behind your hands with a yell. "Don't hurt my ego, say it!" He laughs, and tickles your sides.

"Yeah yeah okay, your dick was better stop!" You laugh, and he grins, suddenly pulling you close to him as he hides his face in your hair.

"Oh baby-" He sighes out. "I love you so much."

"And I hate you." You mumble, before he playfully bites your ear.

"Jungkook no, they could see-!" Yet he doesn't let up, uncaring. The hotel they were staying at had a strict privacy policy- at this point his agency could ruin

them with a snap of their fingers just because they leaked a single strand of his hair. He wasn't concerned at all, as he continued to bite and kiss at your neck,

unable to keep his hands to himself as he grows hard.

He loves the high he gets from being in danger of getting caught.

Its silly, in a way, but it feels like a rush of some sorts. It's like he's a teenager again, sneaking in candy even though he's on a diet just to feel bratty, and its not

much different now, even though the scale is another. This was actually dangerous, but since no one else was staying at the hotel, and his hyungs had all gone

to bed, he refused to give in.

He wanted you, and he would take you.

Jungkook never liked sharing, nor giving away what was his when he himself didn't openly give it away. What was his, was his, there was no room for

discussion, even though he'd become a bit more understanding nowadays. Yet he would never let anyone see you like this, so vulnerable and wanting for him,

ready to become his slave to quench his thirst for you at anytime. You loved him just as much as he loved you, and this exchange of feelings always got him

riled up to the point of desperation.

Just like now, as he helps you stay afloat with his forearms underneath your own arms, kissing you silly while he pushes his thigh upwards underwater, feeling

you rut agains it like an animal in heat. He loved how you got whenever he pushed your buttons right, loved the sight, the sound, the entire situation. It ruined

porn for him in a way, modern erotica in no way reaching the level of satisfactory aesthetic that the sight of you could bring him. He'd taken pictures and videos

of you in nude positions and explicit situations to keep him entertained whenever he was far away, because whatever he found online of strangers couldn't bring

him a release worth working for anymore.

So it was utterly welcomed by him, when you had surprisingly told him that you had arranged to share the hotel room with him, and that you were tagging along for two weeks of his tour. Of course, his happiness was mostly simple enjoyment that you were there at his side, that you would sleep right next to him, yet it also was of a more carnal side of himself. And now, while his blood was still hot like lava inside his veins, adrenalin still high from his last concert, he was desperate to let go, end this day in a way he never thought he properly could.

He sloppily pushed the barrier between himself and your core to the side underwater, pulling his length out of his swimtrunks as well, uncaring on making it romantic. He knew he didn't need to always go overboard, he was clingy and touchy enough that you always felt appreciated and loved, even if he was impatient like that. He groaned out, mixed with a chuckle as he suddenly realized what he was doing, dipping his head down into the crook of your neck to bite and leave open mouthed kisses, rhythm just as steady and on-point as onstage just hours ago.

He came quicker than he'd liked, tattooed hand gently pushing you over the edge as well. you whined as he helped you out the pool, utterly mortified but still happy at the way he simply picked you up bridal style, carrying you out and back into your room, ready for a good nights' sleep.

The best he had ever gotten while on tour.

a/n: I’m not crying, you are. Also Happy Holidays everyone! I hope this little drabble with my favourite bunch of characters can brighten up your festive days a little! ❤

Taehyung had been grumpy the entire ride. Sulking with his arms crossed and his lips turned into pout, he stares out the window of the backseat. At least the view is pretty. Dales doesn’t really get snow in the winter, he learned that the hard way last year when he anticipated it the entire winter but never experienced it. At least now he can finally see his dearly missed snow. Him and the others have driven up north far enough for it to start snowing. Taehyung drinks in the dark trees, thinking to himself how pretty the snow looks on the branches. 

"Oh I love that song", Jimin squeaks from the passenger seat, reaching for the radio to turn the music louder. 

All I Want For Christmas Is You. Taehyung huffs out air in annoyance and frowns. Stupid Christmas songs. 

"Honey bear you sing the harmonies", Jimin says, nudging Yoongi’s arm excitedly. 

"Yeah, yeah", Yoongi murmurs, tiny smile on his lips at the cute antics of his boyfriend. 

"Tae, you sing the other harmonies", Jimin turns on the seat, slapping Taehyung’s knee gently. 

"Don't make me", he grumbles, lowering his head. 

"You're so boring", Jimin whines and turns back to the front. He starts singing loudly, dancing in the seat as best as possible. 

Yoongi soon joins him after Jimin sends him a very angry glare when he accidentally missed his first harmony. 

Taehyung watches them for a moment and then looks back out the window. He really loves Christmas songs, but today. Today he is grumpy. It is not the company he is with, that makes him that grumpy. No, he likes hanging out with Jimin. And he also likes hanging out with Yoongi again, even if it almost took him two years to forgive him for what he had done. These days he really likes hanging out with Yoongi however, he can feel how hard Yoongi is trying to be a good brother to him and it makes him feel really nice in his chest. 

So no, it is not the company he is with that makes him that grumpy. It's that stupid Christmas couple costume Jimin forced him to wear. Yoongi is Jack Frost, Jimin is Elsa and Taehyung was told to be Olaf. Olaf, out of all the Christmas-y costumes out there it had to be Olaf. 

Taehyung looks down at the scratchy pullover, pulling at one of the black feather balls at the front of the sweater. He looks so stupid. 

Yoongi basically looks like a god in his Jack Frost costume. Jimin is such a pretty Elsa, Taehyung is asking himself if his friend had always been that hot. And he is left looking like a ball-shaped, orange nosed idiot. 

Taehyung grumbles in annoyance, crossing his arms in front of his chest. 

If he hears just one chuckle from you or Jungkook he will leave, no looking back.

One hour later the guys finally arrive at your and Jungkook’s cabin, parking Yoongi’s car next to the golden Cadillac of Hoseok. The snowfall had stopped, leaving the driveway and garden to look like a white winter miracle. You and Jungkook even decorated the outside with colour figurines and brightly sparkling lights all over the cabin. It must have taken you hours to set everything up. Taehyung liked the view and the snow and the lights and also the knowledge that he can finally see you and Jungkook again, but he was still way too grumpy to mention it to Yoongi and Jimin. He follows them with his lips curled into a pout and his eyes glued to the footsteps Jimin left on the freshly fallen snow. Yoongi rings the doorbell twice before the lock turns. 

"Hohohello", Jungkook opens the door, stroking his fingers through his white faux beard.  

"No way Jungkook", Jimin gasps, hands thrown over his mouth. 

"What you say guys? Am I not the sexiest Santa Claus ever?" Jungkook grins, rubbing his round belly. 

"Yeah, holy shit. Look at your belly, how'd you get it that round?" 

"Pillows, they're so hot. But enough about me, come inside guys. It's freezing out there." 

Jungkook inspects the three guys with a happy smirk on his lips. 

"Look at you", he says and goes to hug Yoongi, "Jack Frost, right?"

"Yeah", Yoongi says and pats Jungkook’s back. 

Next Jimin gets a hug. 

"Elsa. Fuck you are hot", Jungkook says, making Jimin giggle. 

"Oh stop it you", he coos, nudging Jungkook’s chest. 

Then it is Taehyung’s turn. 

"Don't even start", he grumbles, arms crossed in front of his chest. 

"Hyung, you look cute. You look like a golf ball."

"I'm not a golf ball. I'm Olaf! No, don't hug me. I don’t like you anymore."

"Hyung just com'ere", Jungkook grins and pulls Taehyung into a tight hug. 

Taehyung pouts, placing his arms around Jungkook’s pillowy waist rather groggily. 

"You look good, stop being old mister grumpy pants", Jungkook teases, "doesn’t Olaf sing all about being happy and shit?"

"Haha you’re so funny. I am choking from laughter", Taehyung says sarcastically.

Jungkook snickers. 

"Follow me. ___ is in the kitchen getting everything ready. You aren’t ready for her costume. I am not kidding. She looks so hot." 

"Kookie did the others arrive?" you call out in the perfect moment and a second later you appear in the doorframe. 

"Biiiiitch!" Jimin screeches.

"Whoore", you scream back, launching yourself into Jimin’s arms in an instant.

You and him had almost met the ground, stumbling and wobbling as your aggressive hug continues.

"I missed you so much, you can’t even imagine", you say, cheeks hurting from smiling so much.

"I missed you too, bitch I have so much to tell you. Oh my god", Jimin says, breaking away to study you from head to toe, "but first, daaaamn look at you. You look cute as fuck." 

You are wearing a white wig and red pointed hat. You matched a long red dress with the hat and put way too much bright pink rouge on your cheeks. 

"I am Misses Claus. Aren’t I cute?" you announce proudly, dancing to the Christmas song on the radio.

"You look gorgeous", Jimin squeaks, jumping on the spot until he can’t handle it any longer and he hugs you again, "I seriously missed you so much. Three months are way too long without you", he whines, clearly pouting.

"I missed you too Jiminie", you whine and squeeze his waist. 

"Okay holy shit Jimin your ass in that dress", Jungkook gasps. 

"Oh that?" Jimin looks over his shoulder at his butt and wiggles it, "it's from all the dick riding I'm doing."

"Yeah I'm the dick", Yoongi says proudly, pointing at his own chest. 

"Yeah and I’m the poor ears having to listen to it", Taehyung murmurs, earning himself a wave of laughter. 

"Oh Taetae, look at you. Olaf am I right?" you say, opening your arms for him. 

Taehyung hugs you, somehow feeling a little happier as he does. You smell like cinnamon tonight, he really likes that smell on you.

"Yeah and I look stupid", he pouts. 

"Nah, you look good. I like the sweater, you look like a golf ball."

"I am not-" Taehyung starts. 

"That's what I said too!" Jungkook blurts out. 

"Congrats you two share one brain cell again", Taehyung mumbles grumpily. Stupid costume. Apparently he looks like an orange nosed golf ball. He could have lived with snowball. But golf ball? He hates golf. 

Jungkook drapes his arm around your shoulder, fond smile on his lips. 

"Guys you are not ready for the food my amazing girl prepared. It's to die for", he says as you all make your way to the kitchen. 

"Oh baby stop, it's not that good", you giggle, caressing his stomach. 

The others are waiting by the dining table as you enter the kitchen. Namjoon dressed as a Christmas tree and his girlfriend dressed as the matching Christmas ornament. Seokjin dressed as a sexy elf (he said that merely putting on a hat will be enough and his face will do the rest. He wasn’t wrong) And Hoseok came dressed as a reindeer. 

They start yelling and hollering in greeting, getting up from their seats to give the three new guests brotherly hugs. 

"Yo Jiminie look at you. Hot damn, makes me wanna slap that ass of yours", Hoseok coos, patting Jimin’s ass repeatedly as he hugs him. 

"Oh stop it, not here", Jimin coos, slapping Hoseok’s chest softly.

Yoongi, who had started to pout, gets the next hug. 

"Look at you little sexy Jack Frost", Hoseok coos, slapping Yoongi’s ass as well. 

"Yeah, yeah whatever", Yoongi murmurs and despite that he nuzzles his face against Hoseok’s shoulder. 

Taehyung turns away. This starts again. Their gag-inducing threesome flirting they are always doing. 

He quickly escapes the situation, joining you and Jungkook by the oven.

"Hey", he greets you two before he wraps his arms around Jungkook’s waist and buries his nose in his shoulder. He smells of honey and peaches, Taehyung feels a little better with the scent of Jungkook tickling his nose.

"Hyung", Jungkook says and caresses Taehyung’s arms, "you came at the perfect time. We were just getting the chicken out of the oven", he explains, leaning into Taehyung’s chest. 

"Oh how cool", Taehyung murmurs, sarcasm lacing his voice. He breaks the backhug, kicking an imaginary stone with a big pout on his lips.

You look over your shoulder at Jungkook and Taehyung, worried by the slight iciness in Taehyung’s voice.

"Babybear", Jungkook says, running his fingers through Taehyung’s fluffy hair, "you seem grumpy. Talk to us." 

"Yeah, what's the matter snuggles?" you ask, turning to the two men. You nudge Taehyung’s belly. 

"I'm not a golf ball. I'm Olaf! Eventhough I really hate Olaf too. I wanted to wear a Christmas jumper and not that scratchy costume", he whines and pouts, "I look stupid." 

"Hey Taetae!" you and Jungkook exclaim at the same time. 

"You look good", you assure him, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.

"Yeah hyung and cute too", Jungkook messes up Taehyung’s hair again, "you're the cutest babybear."

"Yeah, so cute", you agree with Jungkook. 

Taehyung lowers his eyes. He has to be honest with himself. This kind of made him feel a lot better.

He steps closer, hugging Jungkook and burying his face in the latter’s shoulder again. He even makes himself smaller, giggling when Jungkook wraps his strong arms around him and pets his hair.

"Thank you", he murmurs and he can't stop himself from smiling shyly and scrunching his nose up. 

"Sure", you turn back to the oven, "hey Kook did you offer our guests the eggnog yet?"

"Oh the eggnog! I totally forgot!” Jungkook exclaims and wiggles out of Taehyung’s grasp to turn his attention to your other guests, “everyone come over here I have eggnog for you. I made it myself, well I mean, ___ kinda did most of the work but I tried really hard to help her and I think it turned out very…." 

Jungkook’s voice drowns out in the background. Taehyung joins you by the oven, watching you stir the roasted potatoes in the big frying pan. He gives you a backhug too, resting his cheek on your shoulder and squishing it in the process. He even has his eyes closed, enjoying the warmth your body gives him.

“You’re cuddly tonight aren’t you?” you ask him fondly.

He nods his head and squeezes your middle.

“This is my first Christmas party ever”, he confesses.

“Wait, really?” you gasp.

He nods again, “I’m so happy that I can spend it with you and Kook…and everyone else.”

“Oh Tae, you’re so adorable. I’m happy to spend it with all of you too.”

Taehyung giggles, kisses your cheek and breaks away. He makes himself helpful by grabbing the spoon and stirring the gravy. You sneak a glance his way. Jungkook is still talking about the eggnog in the background, explaining to Seokjin how he helped with adding the spices proudly.

"Don't worry we made an alcohol free version too, just for you", you tell Taehyung, nudging his hips with your hips. 

"Oh, that wasn’t necessary really", he says, cheeks heating up.

"Of course it was. Hello? How bitchy would that be if we just excluded you from the eggnog experience?"

Taehyung smiles at that, feeling his heart warm up in his chest. Sometimes he still forgets how much you and Jungkook care for him, but then you do things like make alcohol free eggnog just for him and he remembers why he likes coming up north to visit you. Ignoring all the amazing sex you were having of course.

"You're so nice, thank you", he murmurs, caressing your upper back. 

"Of course, no need to thank me", you send him a smile and look back at the potatoes, "hey would you mind taking out the chicken?"

"Of course."

With Taehyung’s (and later Seokjin’s) help the food is served within minutes. You are seated by your big dining table, you at one end of the table and Jungkook at the other. Yoongi declared himself the official meat cutter and Jimin followed it up by saying he will hand out the potatoes. Namjoon, wanting to be helpful too, made sure everyone got the right and fair amount of stuffing. Even if he accidentally spilled some on Hoseok’s onesie, which earned him a not so gentle nudge to the chest. 

"Thanks for the food!" Seokjin says loudly.

"Thanks for the food!" the rest of you repeat and then it is finally time to dig in. 

Everyone is blown away by the food, humming and moaning in content. Their happy reactions make you feel so good inside. All those hours slaving away in the kitchen were totally worth it.

"No joke Kook you can count yourself lucky, you got yourself a keeper", Yoongi says, chewing happily. 

Jungkook looks over the table, chin rested on the back of his hand. His eyes fill with fondness, smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"Yeah I really do", he says softly, smile growing. 

"Stop", you whine, cheeks heating up, "ah dear god."

"Awww you two you are so cute", Jimin coos, smiling just as brightly as Jungkook does. He leans over the table slightly, reaching for another piece of chicken, "also your food's amazing. How come you never cooked for us like this?" 

Namjoon agrees with a low hum. 

"Because hello? I had better things to do? I wasn’t your chef?" you say with feigned offence in your voice. 

Jimin cackles and turns his attention to Namjoon instead. 

"So Namjoon ", he begins, "how's it going with you two?" 

They exchange a look, holding hands with their eyes sparkling.

"Good, really good yeah", Namjoon carries fondness in his eyes as he speaks, "we're planning on moving in together in the new year." 

"Whaaaat?" a choir or voices is gasping. 

"Yup, it's true. Now that my novel hit the one million mark, we have enough money to buy a nice condo by the beach. Also she is trying to convince me to get a dog too." 

His girlfriend giggles, "yup, it's taking more work than I thought it would." 

"A dog would be cute though", Jimin says, earning himself a clap of agreement from Namjoon’s girlfriend. 

"Exactly what I am saying! See honey? Jimin thinks it's a good idea too." 

Namjoon rolls his eyes and sighs, "you two are impossible." 

At that she leans closer and pecks his cheek, giggling to herself.

"A million sold copies?" Jungkook throws in, "you sold a million books?"

Namjoon takes a bite of the food first. He grins proudly.

"Yes, I got the call from my publisher last week and I kid you not, I danced through the apartment for a good forty minutes." 

"I can imagine, a million copies that's literally so cool", Taehyung says, eyes sparkling in adoration. 

"Thank you, thank you", Namjoon says with a shy grin. He raises the eggnog glass to his lips and takes a sip, "although this does put the stakes up high. Now the sequel has to be so much better." 

"I'm sure you'll do amazing. Your writing has never disappointed before", you assure him. 

"Ah, we'll see about that", Namjoon says, scratching the back of his neck nervously. 

"I'm sure you'll do great", Seokjin says, taking a hearty bite of potato afterwards. 

Hoseok goes for another piece of chicken, sprinkling a healthy amount of gravy all over the meat. 

"Give me some too", Jungkook says before Hoseok can sit down, handing him his half-empty plate. 

Hoseok goes to work, filling up Jungkook’s plate until the later says "stop." 

"Anyone else want another piece before I sit down again?" he asks the rest of you. 

"Nah I'm fine", Yoongi dismisses him. 

"No thanks love later maybe", Jimin says with a smile, still working on the piece he had gotten before.

"Nah I'm good", Taehyung says, stealing a piece of chicken off of Jungkook’s plate. 

"Yah hyung! That was mine!" the later complains loudly and he would have looked a lot more intimidating if he wasn’t dressed up as a pink-cheeked Santa. 

Laughter goes through the room. Their bickering was just too adorable. 

Hoseok sits down again, fixing his reindeer antlers. 

"By the way, speaking of. Hoseok", you start, "how is the garage going? I heard you expanded?" 

"Oh really? You didn’t tell me that the last time you came over", Jimin says, pouting. 

"The garage's doing great. I got a few real big partners just last month. Who knows if everything goes well, I'll be going into the race car business." 

"Race cars? Okay that's literally so cool", Seokjin gasps, eyes sparkling. 

"Yup, I know I can't believe my luck either", Hoseok says nonchalantly, "who knows, maybe I can go back to racing myself one day." 

"Nope, you promised to never do that shit again", you say in an instant, shaking your head vigorously, "don't make me come down there and stop you."

Hoseok grins, sending you a flirty gaze. 

"Don't tell me, you still care enough about me to have a problem with that." 

"I am literally right here", Jungkook grumbles, sending Hoseok a jealous look. 

Hoseok snorts and retorts to slapping Jungkook’s shoulder brotherly. 

"Hey, come on. You know that I’m only joking", he says, having a tight grip on Jungkook’s shoulder as he shakes him softly. 

"Yeah, yeah whatever", Jungkook mumbles, pouting slightly. 

"Here, take my chicken", Hoseok says and puts the perfectly roasted chicken wing on Jungkook’s plate. 

Jungkook grins in an instant, sneaking a boyish look at Hoseok. 

"Thanks", and like that his jealousy lays forgotten.  

Yoongi gets a few more potatoes and Taehyung disappears in the kitchen for a moment to get more eggnog for everyone. Namjoon’s girlfriend insisted she help him in his task. 

"God damn", Seokjin interrupts the comfortable silence, "you guys are all so cool."

You all look at him. He is poking his fork into his vegetables repeatedly. 

"Well, how is it going with you then?" you ask him, nudging his arm. 

"Good I guess. I miss you guys so much", he straightens up on the chair, "no joke, you guys were the best waiters I ever had." 

"Well, thank you", Jimin says, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. 

"But one another note, I got a new jukebox because a drunk rowdy punched a hole into the old one", Seokjin says, clicking his tongue. 

"Okay what an ass. I swear to god if I would have still been there, he'd have gotten a punch in the nuts", you say, making Seokjin chuckle.

"And that is why you and Jimin were my best waiters." 

You chuckle, sending Seokjin a playful grin.

"And what else? Go on give me private life updates, not stupid work updates" Jimin stresses. 

"Uhm…" Seokjin scratches his neck, "I bought new socks last week?"

Jimin groans, rolling his eyes dramatically.

“Come on hyung, give us the good updates. How is your sex life going?”

Seokjin clicks his tongue, “I see the years haven’t changed you Park Jimin.”

Jimin smirks, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly.

“What can I say?”

Seokjin chuckles and shakes his head. He takes a bite of potato, chewing it thoroughly.

“I’m currently staying away from sex. Don’t know, it doesn’t really do it for me lately. But I started going fishing and I already caught so many fish. Just last week I had sashimi all by myself and it was amazing.”

At that Jimin pouts, “boring, urgh.”

“On yet another note”, Seokjin says, sending Jimin one last annoyed glance before he looks at you, “___, Dwayne asked me when you are going to come visit us at the gym again. The guys miss you.”

“Aww really? Gosh this is cute. Me and Kook are planning on coming down in January for Taetae’s new job, I’ll visit you guys then.”

“Nice”, Seokjin grins, “I can’t wait to destroy you on the treadmill again.”

“Ha, I’d like to see you try”, you challenge, lowering your eyes playfully.

“Tae got a new job? How come I haven’t heard that before?” Namjoon asks, tilting his head to the side.

The man of the hour appears in the dining room again, carrying the eggnog. He sits down, after having filled up Jungkook’s and Namjoon’s glasses. 

"I heard my name?" he says. 

"You were just about to explain to Namjoon that you got a new job", Yoongi explains. 

Taehyung sneaks a glance at Namjoon.

“Was I?”

“Yeah, they just told me that you did. Where are you working now? I thought you and Jin were a team.”

“Well, about that…” Taehyung scratches his neck, cheeks tinted rosy, “I’m working with kids again”, he says, smiling brightly.

“Really?”

“Yes, uhm”, he lowers his eyes, “it’s at Hwimangi, the orphanage. They needed a new cooking teacher and I decided to apply”, he lowers his head, “I got the job”, he whispers shyly.

“Holy shit Taehyung, that’s fucking amazing”, Namjoon gasps, eyes widening, “I bet you must be so excited.”

“Yeah”, Taehyung giggles shyly, “I’m so excited to be there for the kids. You know? Uhm. I want to make their lives better and give them an adult, who cares for them and who they can come to when they feel lonely. I never really had that and I want to make sure that at least those kids don’t have to feel like that.”

You reach for Taehyung’s hand, squeezing it tightly. He locks eyes with you, smiling shyly when he sees the adoration in your eyes.

“I bet those kids will live such a happy childhood with you in their life.”

“Thank you”, he whispers, breaking eye contact because he feels far too shy, “I really hope that they will”

For dessert you changed location to your big couch. Cookies and hot chocolate. The cookies are self-made by you and Jungkook of course. Except for the snicker doodles, Taehyung and Jimin helped with those too. 

The later is lounging on your fake fur rug in front of the fireplace with Yoongi’s head on his stomach and a big gingerbread man in his mouth. His feet move to the melody of the Christmas song playing through the speakers, Jungkook had installed all over the house. 

"Honestly your couch is heaven", Namjoon sighs, stretching out his limbs before he cuddles into his girlfriend’s side.

"Yeah right? We're so happy with it too", you agree, sneaking a glance at Jungkook. 

He agrees with a hum and a lazy nod of his head. He has eaten far too much food, moving too much sounds like torture.

"You can be", Hoseok says, relaxing further into the sofa by Jungkook’s side. He stretches out his legs and takes a big sip of his cocoa. 

"It's making me wonder though", Seokjin says from his very comfortable looking position to your right side. His legs are dangling over the backrest of the couch, his head buried in your favourite fake fur pillow. 

"What are you wondering?" 

"You made such a lovely home out of this place. It makes me wonder if you ever thought of staying here. It would be a pity to give this up when you worked so hard on it." 

“Seriously, helping you install that damn bathtub still haunts my dreams”, Yoongi murmurs.

“Yeah or that cursed hornets’ nest in the attic”, Seokjin says to which Yoongi hums in acknowledgement.

“Okay you did both of those things out of your own will, don’t put this on us”, Jungkook says, pouting.

“Yeah, what he said”, you agree, reaching up to squish Jungkook’s cheeks between two of your fingers.

“But Seokjin’s kinda right. It’d be a shame to give this up. So you wanna stay up here?” Hoseok throws in, munching on two cookies at the same time.

"Staying here?" you look up at Jungkook. 

He meets your eyes, fingers finding their home on your cheek. 

"I still have a month to go at my apprenticeship. We'll think about it when we get there. Right darling?" he says. 

"Yeah, right. We aren't really thinking about it yet."

"But you guys are okay, aren’t you?" Jimin asks, raising his head. 

"Why would you ask that?" 

"Don't know", Jimin shrugs his shoulders, "curiosity."

"Yes Jiminie we are alright", you assure him with an amused grin

"Sex's still great too?"

"Jimin come on", Namjoon and Seokjin groan in unison. Hoseok merely snorts and the rest of you just laugh. Everyone except Taehyung, who had managed to fall asleep on your stomach, cuddled in between your legs and with a little stuffed reindeer in his arms. It's probably all the hair playing you are doing. 

"Yes sex is still great", Jungkook says and pinches your cheek, "can’t get enough of her."

You grin and reach up to caress his chin, "I can’t get enough of him either."

"Ew gross, look what you’ve done Jimin", Yoongi mumbles, clearly teasing. 

"I was just curious", Jimin pouts, "ask me too guys."

"Ask you?" Namjoon sneaks a glance over at Jimin. 

"If me and Yoongi are doing great." 

"Well, are you?" you ask, grinning in amusement. 

"We are doing so great, right honey bear?" 

"Yeah, we are", Yoongi says and raises his hand. He wiggles his fingers, golden ring sparkling on his ring finger. 

"Bitch!" you yell so loudly it startles Taehyung awake, "don't tell me that this is a fucking engagement ring!" 

"Maybe it is" Jimin says with a cocky grin on his face. 

Yelling and screeching rings through the room. Hoseok is on his feet, jumping up and down excitedly. Seokjin almost fell from the couch from sitting up so quickly. Namjoon is literally yelling on top of his lungs. Jungkook is bouncing on the sofa. You and Jimin are screeching in unison. And poor Taehyung is left blinking in confusion at the sudden yelling.

"What is going on? Why are we yelling?" 

"Yoongi and Jimin are getting married!" you yell excitedly. 

"Wait", he sits up with his hair a total mess, "for reals?" 

"Yep. Jiminie popped the question two weeks ago", Yoongi says, showing off his ring again. 

"Hyung! You poop, why didn’t you tell me?" Taehyung whines, "holy moly this is so amazing!" 

The exciting yelling and celebrating goes on for three songs. By the fourth song Jimin has already gotten a bottle of mulled wine, pouring everyone of you a glass. Even Taehyung wanted one, for the sake of the occasion so he said. And as if the moment couldn't get any better it had started to snow too. 

So bundled up in your thick coats and warm boots you decided to watch it for a little, outside by the lake. The walk isn’t long, just two minutes. The night is quiet and calm, only the sound of snow falling and the crunching of your boots can be heard. 

Namjoon and his girlfriend run past you, yelling as they throw snowballs at a fleeing and cursing Seokjin. It was hilarious really.

Hoseok and Taehyung walk one step ahead of you, chatting about how each snowflake is unique. Well, mostly it is Taehyung telling Hoseok about it and Hoseok listening intently with a fond grin on his face.

You and Jungkook stayed back with Jimin and Yoongi. 

"So you’re getting married", you say, squeezing Jimin’s hand, which you had been holding ever since you left the cottage. 

"Yeah, we are. Next year in spring, I’m already so excited", he says, returning your squeeze. Jimin goes to rest his cheek on your shoulder, sighing contently, "you're going to be my groomsmaid right?"

"Of course. Jiminie hello? We talked about this ever since we were three, of course I'll be your groomsmaid", you say, craning your neck to kiss the crown of his head. 

"This makes me so happy", Jimin sighs and hugs you tighter. 

"Do you know where you wanna have the ceremony?" Jungkook asks. 

"Well, we thought about it a lot and yes we do", Yoongi says. 

"And? Tell us." 

"Home", Jimin says with a melancholic smile on his face, "we want to get married on the beach, the one you, Hoseok and I always played on as children." 

"No way, Shipwreck Bay?" you gasp, eyes tearing up at the memory of all the happy days the three of you spent on the little beach. 

"You have a beach called Shipwreck Bay back at home? Why did you never show me the place? " Jungkook pouts, "I wanna see it." 

"No, it's just how we called it. We always pretended that it was a magical beach and that we were pirates stranded on it", you explain to him, “it’s surrounded by those huge cliffs and you have to walk through a forest and climb down some rocks to get there. We always climbed on the rocks and then jumped down into the water.” 

Hoseok looks over his shoulder, "you guys talking about Shipwreck Bay?" 

"Of course we are Captain", you say, reaching out to nudge his arm. 

“Hoseok you remember that one time you were on a floaty and we pushed you out into the water too much and you started crying because you were so scared?” Jimin asks, cackling boyishly.

“Of course I can, I was traumatized for five years after”, Hoseok says and pouts.

“Hey, we made it up to you”, you insist.

The three of you exchange a look and sigh.

"Good days, good days indeed", Hoseok says, smiling sadly and turns back to the front. 

"Yeah, good days indeed", you and Jimin agree, sighing in unison. 

"And now look at me, getting married to the love of my life. Who would have thought?" 

"Yeah not me, honestly I really thought you'd be hoeing around until you're ninety", you tease. 

"Okay listen ___. Eighty, hello? I wasn’t that big of a hoe", Jimin says, flipping the braid of his blonde wig over his shoulder dramatically. 

"Fine, eighty", you agree with a chuckle. 

The lake is frozen over, carrying the newly falling snow. Jimin and Yoongi had excused themselves for a moment, wanting to take a quick romantic walk together. You weren’t one to stop them. Hoseok soon excused himself as well, after Seokjin accidentally threw a snowball at the back of his head. Hoseok needed to get his revenge, so he zoomed off and chased after a screeching Seokjin. 

It was just you and Jungkook now. And Taehyung. 

"The eggnog you made for me, really moved me", Taehyung says into the silence. 

"Yeah? That good?" you tease. 

Taehyung nods his head, "yeah and also that you care so much for me. I sometimes forget that you do and then I am reminded with all the nice shit you do for me and I just kind of want to cry." 

"Hey, don’t cry. Today's a happy day. No tears", you say, reaching past Jungkook to pat Taehyung’s arm. 

He smiles and lowers his eyes. 

"They would be happy tears", he whispers, raising his head to watch the snowfall afterwards. 

Namjoon and his girlfriend zoom past you, giggling like little children. Somewhere in the distance, Seokjin’s loud war cry bounces off the surrounding trees. 

"They are all wasted", Jungkook observes. 

"True", you and Taehyung agree.

"Means we were great hosts", you cuddle closer to Jungkook, "we can do this sweetheart, just like I told you." 

Jungkook sneaks a glance your way, smiling fondly. 

"Yes, all my nervous pooping was for nothing", he jokes, making you laugh. 

"Gosh Googie", you snicker, kissing his arm softly.

The snowfall had picked up, sparkling against the silver moonlight and getting caught in your hair. 

"Hey guys! We're going back inside. You coming?" Namjoon’s girlfriend calls out. 

The three of you turn around. They are all waiting for you. Namjoon, Hoseok, Seokjin, Yoongi and Jimin. All of them seeming so happy that the dark night shines so much brighter. 

"We'll be with you soon!" you tell them. 

"Alright! We're planning on playing Monopoly, your fault if you arrive too late" Seokjin says before turning around and jogging after Namjoon and his girlfriend. 

Hoseok leaves too, chatting with Yoongi. 

Jimin stays back for a little, looking at you with his eyes glowing in happiness. He had taken off his wig. Snowflakes are resting in his hair, making him look like a snow prince.

"See you soon!" he calls out, waving at you. 

"See you Jiminie!" you tell him, waving back just as excitedly. 

And with that he turns around, walking away until the darkness of the night swallows him. 

The three of you turn back to the lake, drawing closer for warmth. Taehyung looks at you and Jungkook. You and him are glued together, faces carrying nothing but happiness. Taehyung looks back out at the lake, enjoying the sound of the snow falling.

"Who would have thought", he whispers. 

"Yeah, who would have thought", Jungkook agrees.

"Not me", Taehyung says. 

"Yeah, not me either", Jungkook agrees. 

"What do you guys mean?" 

"That one day we can stand here together without wanting to bash each other’s heads in", Taehyung says and turns. Just his face. Eyes locking with Jungkook’s.

Jungkook smiles. 

"I'm glad we changed", he says, reaching out to give Taehyung’s upper arm a tight squeeze, before he runs his fingers down his arm and intertwines them with Taehyung’s.

"Yeah, me too." 

"Me too", you say, chest swelling in happiness, "you both mean so much to me." 

"You mean so much to us too", Taehyung says without hesitation. 

"Yep, we love you so much darling", Jungkook adds, kissing your cheek and putting his hand on your lower back. 

"I love you too", you say and smile. 

You look up at the sky, closing your eyes and letting the snow fall onto your face. They are right. Who would have thought. 

"You know guys", Taehyung starts, "it's gonna sound so sad right now, but holy shit I am so happy I didn't goddamn die back then." 

Taehyung inhales and looks up at the sky. He exhales and speaks again.

"And it's funny because when Geunsoo’s men kicked me, deep down I hoped that they wouldn’t stop until I can’t fucking think anymore. And goddamn afterwards when I woke up again and continued to fucking breathe I just wanted to suffocate. Back then I wanted to call everyone, who told me they are glad I survived, an asshole because I didn’t want to survive. I didn’t and people were so selfish and told me that they are happy to see me alive." 

He looks at you and Jungkook, both of you having your breath held. 

"That’s what I always thought. How can you guys be so fucking selfish that you are happier about me surviving than supporting my wish to die", he scoffs and laughs, “thinking about it now makes me cringe so much.”

“I’m glad it does”, Jungkook says.

“Yeah, me too”, Taehyung takes a deep breath, “you know, in rehab they told me that one day I will understand why the universe didn’t let me die in that alleyway.”

He looks out at the lake. The snow fall became stronger in the minutes he was talking. He opens his hand, catching snowflakes and letting them melt on his palm. He smiles. 

"I finally understand now."​
