Which is Your Morality Alignment?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/06bb2bf702bc0536a5080443fb5297f6/7bc94e7bc2b0c052-59/s540x810/8d6e6c7abaa685f257eed3f06b1d3e86a03f392f.jpg)
ESCA: True Neutral
You view the world in an unbiased manner, acting mostly on either your own self interest or on the best objective course. This can mean you enjoy creating balance between all forces, meaning you may do actions that involve Good as well as Evil, respecting authority like Lawful with the skepticism of Chaotic; or, you may simply draw your line in the sand, and go your separate way. This develops you into the archetypal "on-the-fence" person.

SEYUN: Chaotic Good
You have a sound moral compass, helping those in need, though tend to see rules as suggestions (or, in some cases, limitations). Hence, you mostly confront oppression in all its forms, be it some dark overlord or the school bully, while you simultaneously may run into trouble with authority. Not that you particularly mind, for you believe that freedom is the ultimate good, mirroring the archetypal "rebel hero".

DCxDP Prompt 10 :
Death Defying Ship. Danny and Dick are childhood friends where the Fenton's would often bring Danny and Jazz to the circus to hang out with their old friends the Graysons, where Danny and Dick are very close and do dumb kid stuff but jazz is there to watch them so they won't get into too much trouble when the parents aren't looking.
In there Danny learns from the Graysons some basic Gymnastics and Dances that require two people and all that brings them all closer.
Dick and Danny lost touch after the tragic incident with the Graysons, Many years later the story progresses as usual. Danny moves to Gotham to pursue his pursuit in getting a Professional Engineering Recommendation to W.E. with a Bonus Dani that appears every so Often and Dan a normal Mechanic that's acting as his older brother.
Sam Manson happens to be once again forced to attend a gala but this Wayne Gala was Unique because of it's setting as a Masquerade Ball. Sam is thrilled as she can add spice to her gothic aesthetic clothing with a more gothic mask, Danny is being dragged along as because of BFF code, (if I get to suffer, you suffer too.) thus Danny is also wearing an almost as gothic clothing that matches Sam.
Dick and Danny meet there but ofcourse they don't recognize each other, a specific song plays and Dick ever so playful tries to dance a specific routine that only He and Danny knows as they both made it as kids with the help of Jazz. Dick is surprised that Danny is keeping up, Danny is ecstatic and pacing faster as both are in full rhythm and sync in movements.
They don't even realize it but they've become the center of attention as they danced right in the middle of the ballroom. The song comes to a halt and Danny and Dick are breathing heavily, both smiling in excitement until Sam grabs Danny in a headlock and drags him away, scolding him for ditching her for another man.
Dick tries to stop them but was immediately blocked by many who wanted to converse or get his attention as he loses sight of Danny in the crowd of people.
Danny and Dick only ever meet in a gala but something keeps pulling them away from each other, both unable to get each other's names, Dick is totally mesmerized by Danny just as much as Danny is too. Sam finally tells him at some point that he's Dick Grayson. Danny's memories of their past flooding in but Danny didn't want to tell Dick about that because what if dick doesn't remember? What if he asked Dick and he didn't remember him? So Danny kept quiet until he can finally give Dick his name but that moment never came.
Danny is forced to go back to Amity because of the GIW and their Plan to once again destroy the Ghost Zone and Declare War, Danny is captured by the GIW and Sam in desperation with Tucker finally found a way to bypass the GIW firewalls and Break through to connect to the JL.
In the process of saving the captures ghosts with the help of the Justice League in infiltrating and dismantling the Anti Ecto Laws for going against the Meta Protection Rights. Dick doesn't recognize Danny as Phantom, they save him and all that process through Frostbite's help.
Jazz immediately recognizes Dick even as Nightwing and calls him 'Robin' and Dick immediately recognizes her because she is the big sister he always had and wished he kept. Jazz doesn't blow his Identity as expected but she does tell him about Danny as Phantom and Dick as A Wayne once again is processing all of those information in the Manor, Jazz had reassured them that Danny would visit at some point once he is fully healed and Dick waits everyday, waiting for Danny to call or text him that he'll visit.
Dick realizes he's fallen deep in love with Danny with his desperation and also everytime they've met and interacted with each other even for brief moments in the galas they've attended. Danny become the sole reason he'll force himself to attend a gala as he wanted to see the man, his best friend and his first love.
Danny eventually visits Dick and from then you can tell the story goes that way, it's sweet fluff with angst and Dick and Danny gets their happy ending.

Behind the Screen - Casey Novak
a/n: i'm taking requests, so feel free to dm me :) summary: you meet someone online who seems to get under your skin more than you'd like. At the same time, Casey Novak does that too... pairing: Casey Novak x female reader warnings: none word count: 2K
masterlist
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2172ee74533d7800c7bd004d92627610/19694be7bc37fdd1-ea/s540x810/1c39b6d25a3cb579993cf72c9a5d8b0b8f0e1a0b.jpg)
You didn’t know why you bothered joining the debate forum in the first place. Maybe it was boredom, or maybe you were sick of venting to the void of social media about the injustice of the legal system, only to have your posts drowned out by pictures of pets and brunch.
The forum had a fitting name: Justice Anonymous. It was a chaotic meeting ground for legal professionals, students, and justice enthusiasts, all discussing ethics, case law, and courtroom strategies. Pseudonyms kept things anonymous, which was good for you. You’d joined under the name “Justice4U,” and the forum quickly became an escape where you could blow off steam after particularly frustrating days.
But one member of the forum had a way of getting under your skin, “AmicusCuriae.” Their posts were always smug, self-assured, and irritatingly well-written. No matter the topic, they managed to counter your arguments with logic so airtight it infuriated you. It didn’t help that they seemed to enjoy needling you.
And yet, you kept coming back.
In real life, your days were plagued by someone equally infuriating. Casey Novak.
You were both Assistant District Attorneys, often working adjacent cases. She was ambitious, brilliant, and absolutely maddening. Every encounter left you seething, her sharp wit and condescending remarks burrowing under your skin.
Today was no different.
“Late again, Y/N,” Casey said, leaning against your office doorframe with her arms crossed, a smirk playing at her lips.
“Not now, Novak,” you snapped, balancing three case files and a lukewarm coffee as you tried to navigate your chaotic desk.
“You know, organization is key to success,” she added, unbothered by your glare.
“And minding your own business is key to not getting punched.”
She laughed, as if your irritation was the highlight of her day. You hated how pretty her laugh was.
That night, after yet another frustrating day of dealing with Casey, you logged onto the forum.
Justice4U: Hypothetical: A defence attorney argues that a confession obtained without an explicit waiver of rights should still stand if the suspect “implied” understanding. Thoughts?
AmicusCuriae responded almost immediately, as always.
AmicusCuriae: Oh, please. That’s hardly hypothetical. It’s lazy lawyering at best. A competent prosecutor would rip that apart in five minutes.
You rolled your eyes, fingers flying across the keyboard.
Justice4U: A competent prosecutor would recognize nuance instead of resorting to blanket dismissals. But what do I expect from someone who hides behind anonymity to sound smart?
AmicusCuriae: Nuance? Or excuses? Sounds like someone’s been on the losing side of too many cases.
Your blood boiled. But beneath the irritation, there was something thrilling about these exchanges. You hated how much you looked forward to them.
Over the next few weeks, your online conversations with AmicusCuriae grew complicated. You still argued, but the debates started feeling less antagonistic and more like sparring matches. You began sharing hypothetical scenarios, trading strategies, and even cracking jokes. It felt easy in a way that nothing else did.
Justice4U: What’s your take on prosecutors pursuing harsh sentences for first-time offenders?
AmicusCuriae: Depends. What’s the crime?
Justice4U: Let’s say possession with intent to distribute, but they’ve got no priors and a sympathetic backstory.
AmicusCuriae: Ah, the classic moral dilemma. My instinct says to prosecute, but… maybe I’d offer a deal. I’m not heartless.
Justice4U: Oh, so you do have a heart. Shocking.
AmicusCuriae: Don’t spread that around. I have a reputation to uphold.
You smiled at your screen. It was strange, but you were starting to feel connected to this person. Whoever they were, they understood you in a way no one else did.
In real life, things with Casey weren’t improving. If anything, the tension between you had grown worse. The smallest disagreements escalated into full-blown arguments. Today’s fight had been over a witness’s credibility.
“You’re impossible,” Casey snapped, slamming her hand on the table during a meeting.
“Says the queen of impossibility,” you shot back, your voice rising.
“Why do you always have to fight me on everything?”
“Because you’re always wrong!”
The room went silent, the other attorneys awkwardly avoiding eye contact.
Afterward, you couldn’t stop thinking about it. Why did Casey get under your skin so much?
That night, you logged onto the forum, hoping for a distraction.
Justice4U: Ever deal with someone so infuriating that you can’t decide if you want to strangle them or—
You hesitated, deleting the second half of your sentence.
AmicusCuriae: Or what? Kiss them?
Your heart skipped a beat.
Justice4U: I was going to say “sue them.”
AmicusCuriae: Sure you were.
You stared at the screen, cheeks burning.
The turning point came one rainy evening. You and Casey had been assigned to work late on a joint case, combing through evidence in tense silence.
“Pass me that file,” she said, her tone clipped.
“Please,” you shot back.
She glared at you but didn’t argue.
Hours passed, and somewhere along the way, you both let your guards down. The conversation drifted away from the case, and you found yourself laughing at one of her stories about law school. For a moment, it felt easy.
But then you remembered who she was, and who you were, and the moment shattered.
Justice4U: Ever feel like you’re falling for someone you can’t stand?
AmicusCuriae: Funny. I was just thinking the same thing.
Your breath caught.
Justice4U: Do you think it’s possible to hate someone and like them at the same time?
AmicusCuriae: Hate is a strong word. Maybe you just don’t understand them.
Justice4U: What if I don’t want to understand them?
AmicusCuriae: Then why are we having this conversation?
You stared at the screen, heart pounding.
Justice4U: Who are you?
There was a long pause before the response came.
AmicusCuriae: Let’s meet and find out.
You agreed to meet at a coffee shop, your nerves fraying as you sat at a corner table, waiting. The door jingled, and you looked up, freezing as Casey Novak walked in.
She spotted you instantly, her expression shifting from surprise to realization to something unreadable.
“No way,” you said under your breath as she approached.
“Justice4U?” she asked, her voice laced with disbelief.
“AmicusCuriae?”
You both stared at each other, the weight of your online connection crashing into the reality of your real-life animosity. And yet…
“I can’t believe it’s you,” Casey said finally, a small, almost shy smile tugging at her lips.
You laughed, the sound edged with disbelief but also something else, relief.
“Of course it’s you,” you said, shaking your head.
The silence stretched between you and Casey as you sat across from her. The air was thick with tension, the kind that had always defined your interactions but this time, it felt different. Charged.
Casey was the first to break the silence, her fingers nervously toying with the sleeve of her coffee cup. “So… this is awkward.”
You huffed out a laugh, crossing your arms. “That’s the understatement of the century.”
She tilted her head, studying you with those sharp green eyes that you suddenly realized were more mesmerizing than maddening. “I can’t believe you’re Justice4U.”
“And I can’t believe you’re AmicusCuriae,” you shot back. “You’re smug online, but in person? Wow. Next level.”
Her lips twitched into a smirk, and despite everything, you felt your stomach flip.
“Okay, fair. But you’re no saint either,” she said, leaning forward slightly. “You’ve been driving me insane for weeks.”
“Funny, I was going to say the same thing about you.”
You both laughed, the sound easing some of the tension. It felt surreal, like stepping into a parallel universe where Casey Novak wasn’t the bane of your existence.
“So,” she said, her voice softer now, “what do we do about this?”
“About us?” You winced as the word left your mouth. It felt too intimate, too soon.
“About this,” she clarified, gesturing between the two of you. “About the fact that we’ve been arguing online like crazy, but somehow…” She trailed off, searching for the right words.
“Somehow, it worked,” you finished for her.
She nodded, her expression thoughtful. “I mean, I still think you’re insufferable in person.”
“Right back at you.”
“But…” She hesitated, then smiled, a real, genuine smile that made your breath catch. “I think I like insufferable.”
Justice4U: Well, this is weird. How do we go back to arguing now that I know who you are?
AmicusCuriae: Who says we have to stop arguing? You love it. Admit it.
Justice4U: You’re delusional.
AmicusCuriae: You’re still talking to me.
Justice4U: Shut up.
AmicusCuriae: Charming as always.
Justice4U: Serious question: Why are you always such a pain in the ass at work?
AmicusCuriae: Serious answer: Why do you rise to the bait every time?
Justice4U: That’s not an answer.
AmicusCuriae: Fine. Maybe because you’re the only person who can keep up with me.
Justice4U: …
AmicusCuriae: Speechless? Wow. Marking this day on my calendar.
At work, the tension between you and Casey became almost unbearable. It wasn’t just the usual clashing of egos; it was the way her hand brushed yours when you reached for a file, the way her eyes lingered on you during meetings, the way she smirked when she caught you staring.
One afternoon, you ran into her in the courthouse hallway. She leaned casually against the wall, her blazer perfectly tailored, her confidence maddeningly attractive.
“Hey,” she said, her tone light but her gaze intense.
“Hey,” you replied, trying to sound unaffected.
“I’ve been thinking…”
“Uh-oh.”
She rolled her eyes, but there was a glint of amusement in them. “What if we tried something new?”
“Like what? Not arguing for once?”
“Don’t be ridiculous,” she said, grinning. “No, I mean dinner. You and me. No pseudonyms. No forums. Just us.”
You stared at her, your heart racing. “Are you asking me out, Novak?”
“Yeah,” she said simply, her confidence faltering just slightly. “I guess I am.”
You considered teasing her, drawing it out just to see her squirm. But the truth was, you wanted this.
“Okay,” you said, your voice steady. “Dinner. But if you start an argument over appetizers, I’m walking out.”
“No promises,” she said, her smirk widening.
Dinner was… perfect.
You met at a cozy Italian restaurant, the kind of place where the lighting was soft, and the wine flowed easily. For once, there was no case to argue over, no professional stakes, no courtroom
drama. Just you and Casey, talking like two people who had spent weeks falling for each other without realizing it.
“Okay,” you said after your second glass of wine. “Confession time. When did you figure out you liked me?”
She tilted her head, pretending to think. “Probably around the third time you called me a pain in the ass.”
“That’s not specific enough.”
“Fine,” she said, leaning closer. “It was the night you sent me that hypothetical about sentencing. You were so passionate, so relentless in your argument, I couldn’t stop thinking about you after that.”
Your cheeks flushed, but you didn’t look away. “Your turn. When did you realize?”
You hesitated, then smiled. “Honestly? Probably the same night. I just didn’t want to admit it.”
Casey laughed, and the sound was warm, genuine. It wasn’t the sharp, mocking laugh you’d come to expect from her. This one was different, softer, more vulnerable.
As the night went on, the lines between the Casey Novak you’d clashed with and the AmicusCuriae you’d fallen for blurred completely.
By the time she walked you to your door, you were already thinking about the next date.
“So,” she said, her hands in her pockets, a rare hint of nervousness in her posture. “Is this the part where you slam the door in my face?”
“Not tonight,” you said, stepping closer.
“And tomorrow?”
“We’ll see,” you teased, leaning in.
Her smile was the last thing you saw before her lips met yours, soft and certain.
When you pulled away, you couldn’t help but laugh. “I still think you’re insufferable.”
“Good,” she said, her eyes bright. “Because I’m not changing.”
“Neither am I,” you replied.
“Perfect,” she said, kissing you again.
And for once, you agreed.

Heteronormativity and So-Called "One-Time" Nature Of Queer Relationships
So the Supreme Court of India is conducting proceedings in response to petitions regarding legalising same-sex marriages in India. Debates are going on, some arguments from the opposition make my blood boil, some just make me plain sad.
But today I read an article about the ongoing case and how they potentially have to change the defintion of marriage in Indian law to pass this bill. The Chief Justice said that, "By legalising same-sex relationships, we have also enforced this implication that these relationships are to be treated with grace and respect, something which can last long-term, not something which is 'one-time' or won't last long unlike traditional marriages between a man and a woman".
And let me tell you, I LOVE reading unique case laws like this, they bring an exception to the ordinary by giving an interesting insight about human nature, about societal tendencies which we ALL have, but we fail to or don't bother to pinpoint them until they become the cause of some injustice at some point.
And I can't help but think about YR and how this tendency of seeing "same-sex relationships as a 'phase' or something that won't last forever" is so apparent in most societies, regardless of their socio-political atmosphere.
Like take August and Felice for example. It was a disastrous relationship from the start, but even the short time they were a "thing", everyone around them saw them as this "perfect couple who will date for years and years and get married one day" (except Maddie because she's a queen and always right). August especially internalised this feeling. Even with Sara, him making jokes about him being "the king" and Sara will be "the queen", like he was already so sure about the longevity of his relationship with Sara. There was this security in his mind, a possibility of a future with someone he loved.
But with Wilhelm and Simon, that feeling of "security" was very scarce for them, because circumstances always tried to rip them apart. Partly because of Wilhelm's title, but also because nobody(except a few people) saw their relationship as something past a hookup.
Like, it's kind of understandable because the Hillerska students never saw their tender moments like the audience did, but it's actually baffling to me that for a school whose social circles EAT gossip up, nobody assumed that they were in a relationship or atleast had FEELINGS for each other rather than being just a "one-time" thing.
Even Nils and Stella, aka queer people themselves have this thinking deep-rooted in their brains to an extent. Nils sees same-sex relationships as just "hookups at Verbier" and something to be kept "discreet". I don't think he sees the longevity in any relationship he would potentially pursue with a guy in the future(unless he does, then good for him). Stella also saw a potential relationship with Frederika as something doomed from the start. Which, again, losing your best friend to a break-up is a valid fear, but it also kinda explains Stella's fear of not trying at all. She doesn't see a future with Frederika regardless of how much she loves her.
I can bet that the Royal Court was clutching their every goddamn penny in the hopes that Wilhelm and Simon would be a "one-time" thing, that Wilhelm will "change his mind soon". They were never given a chance to think about a future, and it makes me so sad.
I hope this approach towards queer relationships changes gradually, and people can finally see that queer people can have as fulfilling relationships as straight people do. You need love to sustain a future, not a checklist of "socially-acceptable relationships".

PROPAGANDA
KATARA (AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER)
1.) Katara was always shoved aside by both the narrative and the protagonist of AtLA. Despite her powerful arc, the creators always treated her as just the girl who the guy gets as a prize for saving the world. Her friends always relied on her for everything, from emotional support (that she felt she had to give) to menial tasks like cooking and cleaning and sewing (that no-one helped her out with). Her canonical boyfriend forced a kiss on her TWICE, and this was never really brought up or discussed (when she tried to discuss the first one, he forced the second one on her). She never got apologised to, and was constantly undervalued, treated badly, and her emotions were sidelined (she basically got told she was overreacting for wanting to pursue justice for her mother's murder). So yes, I do in fact think that Katara was a victim of misogyny. Also she wasn't allowed to learn to fight because she was a girl, even though she NEEDED to, and this only changed when the teacher found out that she was his old girlfriend's granddaughter.
None of this even touches on the sh*t that she was forced through in the sequel series. Good grief, I'm not even going to get started on that.
2.) Despite being the younger of two siblings, after her mom died she was forced to assume the role of caretaker in her family despite being a whole LITERAL CHILD to the point that her older brother IN CANON can only picture her face when he thinks of their MOTHER. She was always seen doing chores in the background that no other character ever helped her with because of her place as the "team mom" despite being LITERALLY fourteen. Not to mention how the sequel series ripped all of her personality and accomplishments from her to have her stay home w the children and let her husband neglect them in ways she NEVER would have actually stood for in the og series. Where all the other characters have statues and cities and laws and bending skills named after them they make her sit and twiddle her thumbs so that she can be the avatar's perfect uncomplaining wife and silently fade into the background
3.) so some things I wanna say here might actually be controversial, because I feel like the fans actually bought into/accepted the stuff I'm talking about uncritically. or maybe it's not that deep. but anyway
katara initially can be pretty sensible - her and sokka both. they're the kids of the chief, and neither of their parents are around, so it's obvious they both feel a lot of responsibility.
but still, early on, she's rebellious, she seeks fun and adventure, she cracks jokes. she goes penguin sledding with aang, who reminds her that she is in fact a kid. she steals from pirates then jokes about it when sokka scolds her.
as the show goes on, she gets more stern, straightlaced, "motherly", and has less of a sense of humour. she's still a badass but there are jokes about how she isn't fun or funny, or how she's a stick in the mud, to the point where I feel like the audience seems to have actually bought into it too. then the ember island players episode makes out like she's super preachy and cries a lot - yes obviously I know that this is a joke episode, but the show clearly is trying to parody itself with a basis on characters actual qualities, otherwise why would they bother? and the other characters act like they secretly think it's accurate too. since WHEN?
then sokka who starts out taking charge and resisting kataras schemes, becomes the light-hearted, fun, funny one. like yes he was always sarcastic and wisecracking, but at some point it feels like the show decided that they needed to have a sokka funny, katara unfunny dichotomy. even tho sokka isn't fuckin funny, everyone groans at his jokes.
if katara doesnt make jokes like the show seems to imply, then that means what she does when she's sarcastic or whatever isn't a joke, it's something else. like idk, bitchiness, I guess.
EVE (PARADISE LOST)
1.) I recognise how insane this submission is because this was written in 1667 and so attitudes towards women were obviously very different. But misogyny has always existed, no matter the time period, and so I think it's fair to pick up on it. Although Milton somewhat avoids painting Eve as the wicked seductress, she is nevertheless presented as inherently inferior to Adam - her 'virtue' and 'passion' are supposed to be an equal counterpart to Adam's intellect but Milton's clear resentment of Eve shines through. She is vain from the beginning - enamoured with her own reflection until she meets Adam. She is Adam's subordinate and readily accepts her place in the hierarchy below him, until she meets Satan. Women seeking power and knowledge is therefore inextricably tied to the fall of mankind. Her attempt for some kind of independence away from Adam (going to tend the garden away from him) is also presented as the primary reason she succumbed to Satan because Adam is needed to protect her. Eve (the mother of all women) therefore creates the assumption that women are weak and easily misled away from men. The description of her eating the apple is very sexual - perhaps reflecting the anxieties of men at the time of being cuckolded and therefore dishonoured by their wives. She is the ultimate disobedient, dangerous wife. Her reason for sharing the forbidden knowledge with Adam, rather than keeping it for herself, is because she is worried she will face the wrath of God and be replaced with another Eve. So it is her jealousy that brings them both down. (It is all a lot more complicated than this so Eng lit people don't kill me) but yeah poor Eve.

University/City AU (DGM)
Going off of this post, I’m now thinking of what some DGM characters would study in general in a university/city AU setting (maybe taking place somewhere like NYC?). These ideas are mostly just for fun and I’m not actively thinking of writing anything with it, but I figured I’d share what’s on my mind. :3
Alma Karma — Starting with him because I’m biased and he is a favorite, but he’s majoring in fashion and textile design! Alma loves playing with different colors and fabrics to create vibrant outfits. He definitely doesn’t ascribe to certain gender norms, either, and likes to have a lot of freedom with his designs. (He also loves making clothes for his friends, and always wants to recruit them for modeling. XD) He’s also pursuing a minor in photography.
Lenalee Lee — She’s majoring in fashion design like Alma, but specifically, she’s focusing on shoes! She’s probably in a lot of classes with Alma, and they tend to partner up for projects and photo collaborations. Lenalee is probably also focused on accessories like handbags, and is working toward an internship with Anita (who is a well-known fashion designer in this AU >.>). Lenalee also likely minors in business, since she’s the type to want to know how to manage things.
Allen Walker — Originally, Allen likely planned to pursue a degree in criminal justice. His altruistic nature makes him want to do good and make things better for others, but I can see him getting disenchanted with that field. So, he likely switches to political science to given him a broader scope of things to work with. (He lands on wanting to do youth outreach, which I think suits him. :3) He hasn’t decided to pursue a minor, but tends to get busy helping his friends with their own projects. (He loves to taste test whatever Link bakes. XD)
Lavi Bookman — Double major in library sciences and history! Lavi comes from a background of library and museum archivists, so he’s one to follow that path. He’s super fascinated with book collections and history (especially with the broad scope it covers), and is working toward an internship at a large, well-known library in the city everyone lives in. (Since he’s double majoring, he’s not planning to get a minor at the moment — but he probably has some English literature classes he opts into. He’s a fast reader with an eidetic memory.)
Kanda Yuu — He’s majoring in botany and minoring in photography! Kanda isn’t exactly a science-oriented person, but he likes working with plants and gardens in his free time. He doesn’t like to admit it, but he does have an artistic eye for floral arrangements (he’s very particular about organizing things), and likes to take photos of them. Because of this, he works part-time as a florist when he’s not overloaded with classes. (Since he’s minoring in photography, he also shares some classes with Alma.)
Howard Link — His family likely expected him to go into law (and he considered it), but Link ended up doing a culinary arts program! Specifically for baking and pastry making. While it has always been a hobby of his, he’s ended up taking it very seriously and wants to eventually open his own bakery shop one day. With that in mind, he’s double majoring in the culinary program and business (and probably shares some classes with Lenalee).
Johnny Gill —Biochemistry! Johnny has always been interested in the sciences, and decides to pursue biochemistry. He’s likely contemplating pursuing biotechnology (specifically industrial as opposed to medicinal) in the long run, and is really interested in innovation and improving things in day-to-day life for people. A lot of his classes cross over with Kanda’s, actually, so they interact a lot. (For whatever reason, in this AU I imagine he’s Kanda’s roommate. XD)
That’s all I have for now! I might add more if others are interested about this AU, but wanted to get this out of my system while it’s fresh on my mind. ^^

The Heart Grown Fonder
A single letter folded into the cover of a book on Ferelden tax law in Vigil’s Keep:
My dear Warden, queen of my heart, rarest and most beautiful of women,
I trust this letter will find you, because I will have hidden it in a crate of supplies bound for your Vigil’s Keep. If someone else is reading this, I will retrieve it from you soon enough and you will not like the manner I use to do so.
Mi vida, life is dull and grey without you by my side in Antiva. Fighting is tragically bereft of people shouting things like “desperation is an ugly perfume.” Such things always gave me something to ponder while we cut down our foes, and in their absence I find combat less than stimulating. What does that mean, by the way? And why did you say it so often? This is not a criticism, you understand; if you were to appear at my side tomorrow and say such things again, perhaps while eviscerating someone twice your size, I would be delighted beyond words.
Can you believe that the Crows have not given up on me after all that? Such a shame, when you cannot trust a man at his word anymore. I have dispatched perhaps half of those who continue to pursue. If matters remain on track, I should be able to stroll back over to your side of the sea sometime in the next few months.
Stay strong, my steel; I know that you are simply wilting without my tender care to nourish you. Please, permit me a moment to remind you of what I might do if I were there with you now:
First, I would unbind your hair and loosen it over my fingers. I am certain it has grown even longer in my absence, and you know how I enjoy feeling it trail along my skin. Then, I would kiss you as you deserve—slowly and with feeling, for as long as you can stand it without—
The message continues at some length, ending several pages later:
It is my wish that my words will offer some stimulation until I may return to your side once more. Take heart, mi vida, my steel; you are always in my thoughts even though you are not in my arms.
Trust that we will see each other soon.
—Your Zevran
A series of letters bound together with a dark blue ribbon:
Zevran,
Did you read a naughty broadsheet and decide to stuff all the endearments you could manage into one letter? Words don’t warm my bed, Zev.
I’m fine. Everything here is fine.
Take care of yourself. Let me know when you’re planning to come back. I’ll be here.
Ser Grr misses you.
—Arianwen
Zev,
Scratch the last letter, if you get yourself killed, I’m stuffing Justice in your body and killing you again. Consider it a threat and a promise.
—Wen
Zevran,
I’m told that these are meant to be longer. I’ll try that this time.
Justice says that the letters Kristoff received from his wife had descriptions of her day and hopes for the future. I don’t know what that means. I spent most of the day trying to vet candidates for the Calling. It’s not the Blight anymore; it’s important that the people we choose are able to stick it out and hold their own. The Wardens must have a stronghold in Ferelden or what happened to us will happen again, with no guarantee of success next time.
So—that’s just about every day now. The rest varies, I suppose. Mostly annoying administrative nonsense. Nobles love their paperwork, it turns out. You don’t want to hear about that.
I’ve made friends with the chef. You were right: it’s important to know the person who is most likely to poison your food. She’s nice. Made it out of Highever before Howe destroyed it, which is good for her and us. Makes a damn good stew. Reminds me of the days on the road when we all had to tolerate each other’s cooking. I haven’t gotten any better at it, for the record, but I can peel a potato very quickly now, when called upon.
Speaking of friends, Isabela stopped by on her way across the sea yesterday. I understand she came to Amaranthine to meet a smuggler contact, but unfortunately I already killed them. Anyway—it was nice to have dinner and catch up. We talked about you. Good things, not that you’d think otherwise.
I meant to say earlier—Justice doesn’t talk about Kristoff much, but he told me a little about what his life was like. Being a Warden and married and all, I mean. It sounded nice. Except for the part where he’s dead, I mean. That’s…not great. I’m glad I didn’t know him before everything else. It’s easier that way.
Anyway. I hope this was better. I still don’t get the point of these. Why not just wait until you come back to talk about all this?
You’d better come back.
Not now, I mean. Eventually. When you’re ready.
Whichever.
—Arianwen Tabris, Commander of the Grey, Hero of Ferel
Ignore all that. I’m getting too used to signing formal reports.
Zev,
Did you know that ship captains can perform marriages? Isabela told me yesterday, but I thought she was joking. Nate agreed, but he could also just be fucking with me. I wouldn’t put it past him. I hesitate to ask, but do you know if this is true?
I think about that last trip back from Antiva very often. Maybe if I’d known Nevermind. I miss you. That’s it.
—Wen
Zevran,
I tried to track down the messenger who took that letter before he could get on a boat, but he made it out of the country first. I’m told I am not allowed to go after him.
So ignore all that instead. Just pretend you didn’t read it and I sent you a sketch of my chest or something.
—Arianwen
Zevran,
If you’re getting these letters, please reply. I know I’m not very good at this, but I need to hear from you.
Just—please.
—Arian Your Arianwen
And finally, tucked into a stack of neatly folded underthings in an armoire in Vigil’s Keep:
My Arianwen,
If you find this before I find you, I owe you something special. If not—well, you will have me here, either way.
I am only sorry it took so long. I am certain we will find a way to make up for the long absence.
—Zevran
P.S. Your sentries never even bothered to check the wall they stand on. You should correct this, or instruct your stoneworkers to make the bricks more difficult to climb. I would hate for someone less well-intentioned than I to take advantage.

𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋 𝐍𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 / 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
Name: Gwendolyn Wade
Faceclaim: Gemma Chan
Gender & Pronouns: Cis Woman & She/her
Age: 41
Birthday: January 11
Occupation: Chief of Police
Neighborhood: Carriage Falls
Does your character have a secret? Her role of Chief of Police was bought out by the Wade Family as a cover up from her resignation with the FBI
Would you be willing to have this secret used against them at some point in the future? Yes
𝐈. 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘
TW: ADOPTION, INFERTILITY, DIVORCE
The Wades were one of Wilmington’s founding families who’s history consisted of settlers, war veterans, and played an overall role in the development of the port city. Fast forward to many centuries later, Alanna and Jeremy Wade continued to carry out the reputation through eight of their adoptive children. Being one of the first, Gwendolyn had no recollection of her origin story as she was taken in at only 6 months old. There was no use in going back since she owed it all to them for giving her a second chance as they paved the way for new beginnings, opportunity and growth. What more could one ask for? Once you were a Wade, you were considered set for life.
Or at least that’s what the average Wilmington citizen would have thought. The Wades had a reputation to uphold, which meant no room for failure. All eight were known to be walking-talking trophies, each excelling in their own way and paving a never-ending legacy. For Gwendolyn Wade, it was a tough pill to swallow and it reflected as she got older. Although she was one of the first to inherit the Wade name, she was also the first to leave and pursue a career in law enforcement outside of Wilmington.
While her parents respected her decision as it aligned with their expectations, Gwen took it as an opportunity to not only set a boundary, but to gain a sense of independence and a break from the Wade name. She grew to become a high-ranking FBI agent known to take down notorious crime syndicates in the country. Being at the peak of her career, Gwendolyn was also married and was set to start a family of her own in hopes of eventually settling down. However, if there was one thing that the eldest Wade should have known, it was that everything came with a price. Being bounded and defined by her career meant putting off the idea of having a family, this caused a strain on her relationship—how long can one wait for the other to follow through? Who makes the sacrifice? It also didn’t help that Gwendolyn was in denial as she could feel herself fall out of love with her job.
Her breaking point was after a personal doctor’s visit where she learned that she was infertile. Gwendolyn was too late and was made to blame for the end of her marriage. During her divorce, she devoted herself to her work as a means to not only distract, but to pay tribute to the only constant in her life that ended up being a double edged sword. All it took was one final case for her to decide to return to Wilmington. The case in question was mob related, where it involved an innocent man taking the fall for a crime he did not commit. Consider it her last hurrah to bring forth justice and in doing so, she was able to take down the mob from the inside all thanks to the daughter of the innocent man. Gwendolyn knew that with every cause, there was an effect and as much as they gained a forbidden friendship, it did not mean that they were in the clear. Just because one empire falls, doesn’t mean that another would rise. ‘What was the point?’ It was a question that constantly loomed in Gwendolyn's mind and it was there where she realized that she would always have a target on her back if she kept this lifestyle up.
Although it was expected that she’d retire from the Bureau, she resigned with no rhyme or reason and that caught wind in her family’s direction. Gwendolyn Wade and ‘giving up’ were complete dichotomies that were far from equal. As they say, once you were a Wade, you were considered set for life. And it was true, because the moment that Gwen had returned to Wilmington, they immediately bought out her role as Chief of Police to cover up her resignation from the Federal Bureau. It was a compromise, despite her not being proud of it, but she knew the importance of her family’s reputation, the power that they hold and that failure was not an option. She owed them her life and so, this was a lifelong commitment.
Currently, Gwendolyn has been in her role as Chief of Police for two years and to her luck, she now has to deal with the chaos that ensues as Wilmington's past begins to not only unravel, but impact its current events. She continues to serve and protect the community to the best of her and her staff’s capabilities and continues to uphold a justly façade despite it all being a ruse.
𝐈𝐈. 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐒
TW: GUN MENTION, DIVORCE, INFERTILITY
TIMELINE: A Wilmington native, Gwen left after high school to pursue her undergrad in psychology and minor in criminal law, worked her way into the FBI, only visited Wilmington during major events/holidays and moved back two years ago
LAST MISSION: She was last based in New York before returning to Wilmington
INTERESTS: Has a collection of weaponry from knives, kitanas, guns and excels in them, her combat physical hobbies include fencing, muay thai, and boxing
Gwendolyn is a polygot with the ability to speak over 5 languages. She has studied latin, but doesn’t add it to the roster as it is not a spoken language.
HOBBIES: Horseback riding, archery, weaponry/sparring, travelling, shopping, journaling, people watching
Out of all the 8 children in the Wade family, she's known to be one of the most difficult 'golden child'. Gwen has an attitude, a tendency to rebel and challenges the status quo within the family—yet she meets the Wade criteria for being one of their very own prodigy.
She regrets how she handled her divorce, but with her infertility and existential crisis, both her and her ex-husband had a messy fall out and had not spoken to each other since they signed the papers
IMPOSTER SYNDROME: A TIRED WORKAHOLIC™ - She was a high ranking official in the Bureau and currently the Chief of Police, there's NO room for exhaustion. (she deadass needs a consistent therapy schedule)

"Family Bonds Unveiled"
Plot: Ema Hinata, the daughter of Rintaro and Shona Hinata, has grown up in a loving and supportive household. While working on a school project about her ancestry, she discovers a hidden secret: she has thirteen half-brothers from her mother's previous marriage, all with the last name Asahina.
Intrigued and excited, Ema sets out to meet her newfound brothers with her parents' blessings. The Hinata family sets up a gathering, inviting all thirteen Asahina brothers to their home for a weekend to get to know one another. As each brother arrives, Ema starts realizing their diverse personalities and backgrounds.
1. Masaomi Asahina: The reliable and responsible eldest brother who acts as the family's anchor. 2. Ukyo Asahina: The intelligent and introverted brother who has a deep passion for literature and classical music. 3. Kaname Asahina: The sporty and outgoing brother who excels in various athletic activities. 4. Hikaru Asahina: The free-spirited brother with a knack for arts and thrift shopping, always clad in eccentric attire. 5. Tsubaki Asahina: The charming and egoistic brother who dreams of becoming an idol. 6. Azusa Asahina: The brooding and mysterious brother who is rarely seen without his guitar. 7. Natsume Asahina: The mischievous and playful brother who loves pranks and often causes chaos in the household. 8. Louis Asahina: The elegant and refined brother who constantly travels the world, showcasing his talent in various fashion events. 9. Subaru Asahina: The calm and collected brother who finds solace in nature and dreams of becoming a forest conservationist. 10. Iori Asahina: The strict and disciplined brother, an aspiring law student with a passion for justice. 11. Yusuke Asahina: The kind-hearted and empathetic brother who spends most of his time volunteering at local charities. 12. Fuuto Asahina: The charismatic and popular brother, a rising star in the entertainment industry with a love for acting and music. 13. Wataru Asahina: The adorable and youngest brother who, due to his age, often seeks attention and affection from others.
As the weekend progresses, Ema finds herself forming unique bonds with each brother, each bringing something special into her life. However, not all is easy, as conflicts and rivalries among the brothers arise. Ema, determined to mend any misunderstandings, helps uncover the root causes of their discord, helping them reconcile and grow closer as a family.
Throughout the story, Ema learns the importance of family, love, and understanding, as she brings her newfound half-brothers together to form an unbreakable bond. This heartwarming tale explores the challenges and joys of blending families, reminding everyone that blood does not define family but rather the connections we forge.
As Ema continues to spend time with her newfound brothers, she realizes that each one of them carries their own burdens and struggles. She witnesses firsthand the power of siblinghood and the impact it can have on one's personal growth.
Masaomi, the eldest brother, feels a tremendous weight of responsibility on his shoulders. He has always felt obligated to take care of his younger siblings, sacrificing his own dreams and desires. Through Ema's gentle encouragement and unwavering support, Masaomi begins to reevaluate his priorities and allows himself to pursue his own aspirations, ultimately finding happiness in the process.
Ukyo, with his introverted nature, has always struggled to express his emotions and connect with others. Ema, being compassionate and patient, spends long hours talking to him, sharing stories, and slowly helping him build his self-confidence. Gradually, Ukyo begins to open up, confiding in Ema about his fears and dreams, and together they embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Kaname, the sporty brother, feels immense pressure to excel in every aspect of his life. Ema recognizes his hidden insecurities and encourages him to explore his passions beyond just sports. Together, they venture into different artistic endeavors, such as painting and photography, allowing Kaname to discover a new side of himself.
Hikaru, the free-spirited brother, and Ema find solace in their shared love for arts and music. They explore the city together, attending open mic nights and art galleries, giving Hikaru the creative outlet he craves. Ema's unwavering belief in Hikaru's talent helps him overcome his internal battles, allowing him to pursue his dreams fearlessly.
Azusa, the introspective and silent brother, connects with Ema through their mutual love for music. Ema discovers that Azusa channels his emotions into his guitar playing, using it as a form of therapy. Recognizing his need for emotional support, Ema dedicates her time to play and sing with Azusa, creating a harmonious bond that provides healing and encouragement.
Natsume, the mischievous brother, is initially wary of Ema's presence, fearing that she might disrupt their established dynamic. However, Ema's warmth and understanding break down his defenses. She joins forces with Natsume in planning pranks and mischievous adventures, encouraging him to share his playful side while simultaneously teaching him to consider the feelings of others.
Louis, the fashionable brother who travels the world, often feels lonely and disconnected from the family. As Ema delves into his life, she discovers his yearning for a deeper connection. Ema arranges surprise visits from her brothers during Louis' fashion shows, bridging the gap and showing him that he is truly cherished.
Subaru, the calm and nature-loving brother, feels pressured to conform to societal expectations. Ema introduces him to environmental conservation organizations, where his passion for nature finds purpose. Together, they embark on a mission to educate others about the importance of environmental sustainability, reinforcing Subaru's belief that he can make a significant impact.
Iori, the disciplined and ambitious brother, learns the value of compassion and empathy through Ema's patient guidance. Gradually, he realizes the importance of balancing his drive for success with kindness toward others. Inspired by Ema's selflessness, Iori seeks opportunities to help those in need, evolving into a well-rounded individual.
Yusuke, the kind-hearted and empathetic brother, appreciates Ema's genuine care and concern for others. They collaborate on various community service projects, making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. Through their shared experiences, Yusuke learns the significance of selfless acts of kindness and finds deeper fulfillment in serving his community.
Fuuto, the charming and popular brother, initially teases Ema relentlessly. However, as they spend more time together, Fuuto begins to admire Ema's determination and resilience. He witnesses her commitment to her goals and realizes that her unwavering pursuit of happiness is something he should also strive for, inspiring him to take his own career aspirations more seriously.
And finally, Wataru, the youngest brother, looks up to Ema as his big sister figure. Ema showers him with love and attention, assuring him that his voice matters. They embark on adventures together, engaging in childlike playfulness while also nurturing Wataru's curiosity and imagination.
As the story progresses, Ema's infectious positivity and unwavering support help each brother confront their challenges, redefine their identities, and embrace the strength of their newfound familial bonds. "Family Bonds Unveiled" becomes a tale of personal growth, love, forgiveness, and the transformative power of accepting and embracing one another's individuality.

( MELISA PAMUK / 32 / CIS WOMAN / SHE/HER ) — did you see THE IA DETECTIVE ASSIGNED TO HOPE MERCER’S CASE, AILYA ŞAHIN, wandering around the mercer hollow today? i heard around town that the INTERNAL AFFAIRS DETECTIVE is RESILIENT and METICULOUS, but also INSENSITIVE and HEADSTRONG. people say that they remind them of TO-DO LISTS, THE SMELL OF OLD BOOKS, and A BLAKE LIVELY POWER SUIT, but how well can you ever really know someone in mercer hollow? ( admin jay / 26 / mst / she/her )

character inspo: chloe decker (lucifer), temperance brennan (bones), amy brookheimer (veep), katara (atla), lisa simpson (the simpsons), belle (beauty and the beast), monica (friends)
ailya was born in turkey and into the lap of luxury. her mother was the classic combination of an heiress and a socialite, and her father was the founder of a successful petrochemical company. her mother obtained dual citizenship when ailya was a toddler so that she could pursue ailya's dance career in new york and los angeles. for the first thirteen years of her life, ailya lived and breathed dance. she was homeschooled in order to spend extra time in her company’s studio, and she was a national title holder for most of her life. her mother was convinced that she could have a lifelong career in dance and a future in modeling.
ailya, however, disagreed. she was a serious child; the kind of kid who always used the steps to get into the pool (( after checking the water temperature first, of course )). she tried to get control of her life in high school. she devoted countless hours to her academic interests in order to get into an ivy league school for pre-law. her mother was devastated. she was only allowed to go if she chose a school close to their pent house in new york.
she earned her undergrad from columbia so that her mother could ensure that she still spent time in the dance studio before and after classes. quinn wriggled out from under her thumb when she graduated early and was accepted into yale for law school. her parents footed the insanely expensive tuition and rent bills in exchange for a promise that when she got this 'working girl' fantasy out of her head, she'd return to have children and marry someone of her parents' choosing. aiyla quit dance, so she had to appease one of their dreams for her future.
she grew disillusioned with the law very quickly once realized it wasn't actually about right and wrong or justice, especially when most of her colleagues belonged behind bars with their clients. she made a career change into internal affairs in state that was supposed to be less corrupt than new york in her best attempt to make sense of the u.s. justice system.
✧*・゚𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕
aiyla is of the opinion that if you want something, you have to work for it. there aren’t any excuses in life, so either put up or shut up. she takes Extreme offense to anyone who throws away opportunities by messing around.
she’s v cordial at work, so she can come off as cold. she thinks that personal lives should be kept out of the workplace. of course, aiyla has no personal life to talk about so that’s an easy motto for her live by lmao.
she’s fiercely loyal to the few friends she has.
aiyla isn't mean intentionally, but she doesn’t know how to sugarcoat things or understand why some people would be sensitive to criticism. she grew up with a hyper-critical mom, so she thinks that’s the best way to improve, and that she’s being helpful when she’s being harsh lmao–but her goal isn’t ever to hurt someone’s feelings. she’s very honest and genuine, but not tactful.
she definitely lacks an ability to understand people who think differently than she does, and she is, of course, always right.
she’s totally ruled by logic and reason. her loyalties lie with concrete evidence adn reason above all else.
she can often come off as arrogant. she doesn’t brag or flex, but she’s definitely not humble lmao. she is definitely aware that she’s smart and beautiful lmao, and she’s far more likely to say, “i know,” than, “thank you,” to a compliment.
she hasn’t danced since she was 19, and it’s entirely to prove a point to her mom even though she did love dancing before her mom became her momager. *you’re doing amazing, sweetie*
she’s v embarrassed that she wanted to be a ballerina when she was eight bc how immature and unrealistic. it’s not like she was four.
she has a dog who she loves more than any human. she’s a german shepherd named lizzie (after elizabeth bennet of course).
she loves art and poetry history. she’s also really into the history of fashion and fashion in general. most of her money (that doesn’t go into a 401k and her investment portfolio) goes towards art pieces and handbags.
she views relationships as a basic tier in maslow’s hierarchy of needs, similar to food or shelter. to her, sex is just a means to an orgasm, and orgasms are occasionally necessary to release tension. so ,,, she’s never had a romantic partner lmao, and she’s not interested in any unnecessary distractions from her work.

"I knew you'd jump on this I'm not suprised"
-Zam from the "This Is Me Being Normal! [ LIFESTEAL SMP *** ]" Kaboodle vod at 21 : 30
The way that kab brought zam all the way from spawn for the sole reason of poking holes in his argument because she finds it fun. The way she was being extra nice to him in order to convince him that he should re evaluate his actions. She kept saying how much she cared about him, how she holds him in high regard. Saying all of this after overhearing his conversation with bacon about how much 4cs kindness impacted him...
She's trying to control his actions, his choices, judging his teammates, and who he chooses to kill. Deciding for him which actions he takes are emotional or logical. When you apply her own beliefs against her, that you can't choose who lives and who dies, karma's law falls apart. Zam is relatively comfortable in his actions because their HIS actions, not some other god-like entity like karma. He's comfortable with the idea that his actions have bias to them, whereas kab tries so hard to be objective. But the whole point of lifesteal is hearts. Losing and gaining hearts is how the server functions. Throwing around labels like "hero" or "villain" doesn't work in a server as morally grey as lifesteal. Expecting perfection from Zam, who's ultimately just another lifesteal player, a human just as morally grey as the next person, is completely unrealistic.
Zam was a "pacifist" in order to quench his blood thirst, but then it evolved to the point at which his identity changed to become a protector of lifesteal. But just because he has some fancy title does not mean he has to bear the weight of every single person's desire for justice. There's a difference between someone threatening to blow up spawn and the average Tuesday killing. Zams his own person, and if he chooses to engage with the average Tuesday killing in the form of clownpierce, who is kab to judge besides being clowns ally? Why should she be the one to dictate when his actions are justified or not?
Zam himself is obviously also trying to keep himself on a moral path but with how personal his actions have been getting as kab and derapchu pressure him to be this symbol of spawn and protection for "innocent players" and mapicc slowly drifting away from him along with the general lack of any truly innocent players because lifesteal is lifeasteal, zam's beginning to engage more with lifesteal as a person rather than a pacifist who would refuse to engage at all with conflict. Zam is no longer a neutral party and for him to be expected to remain as this symbol instead of making his own decisions is unfair on him.
Moreover, mane's on a bit of a break. There's currently not much need for a protector of lifesteal because lifesteal is functioning as normal. During this period, can't zam be free to play the game? Until the next villain of the season shows up? Until mane decides to continue with phase 2?
Whether zam chooses to kill, pursue more useful goals for the server, build, scheme, do anything really, why should he be judged for it? Why should it need justification? Mapicc understands this that's why he keeps pushing zam to make his own decisions. Zam is not THE protector of lifesteal even if he is the only one and even if hes really good at it. He's just some guy who just so happens to be a protector of lifesteal.
Not killing innocents was his own goal. His own choice. Why are people forcing him to stick to it when it really does not have much to do with being a protector of the DEADLIEST minecraft server.
This is just my own opinion and interpretation of zams charachter but if zam does end up tying his goals of protecting players deemed subjectively by him as "innocent" and protecting the server itself he might end up placing wayyy too much pressure on himself to the point at which the server will ultimately run its course and the season will end, as always, in violence. Whether zam chooses to engage with it or not. Whether he tries to stop it or not.
Lifesteal works in cycles after all.

vivian's turn!
julie
machine
mark
Full Name: Vivian Nancy Curtis
Age: 27 years old
Birthday: March 12th 1951
Occupation: Law student
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
From: Michigan, U.S.A.
Family: Donald Curtis(father), Irene Curtis(mother), Virginia Curtis(twin sister)
Friends: Julie, Charlotte, Kent, Sandra
Love Interest: Mark
Hobbies and Interests: Reading, listening to rock music, watching TV and movies
Likes: Learning, justice, law, history, music, cheesy movies and TV shows
Dislikes: Sexism, being judged for her sexuality, losing her temper, her friends being in danger, idiots
The voice of reason, she is the most serious one of the group and is not easily amused. She has anger problems and is quite fierce when mad. Despite this, she has a good heart and does and says what she does because she cares and looks out for Mark and Julie. She doesn't have the same amount of sadness surrounding her as the others, but still struggles with her bisexuality in an uncaring world.
Personality:
On the surface, Vivian is serious and cold. But deep down, she has a heart of gold and cares deeply for those around her. She is protective and looks out for her friends, and acts as a voice of reason. Vivian also seems humourless, but isn't, and Mark is the one who can make her laugh the easiest. Around strangers, she is serious and intimidating, but her softness comes up around her friends. She is kind, loving and sweet.
Vivian has a short temper, she can easily lash out at others when she's upset and angry, and it can make her lose her rationality. But she tries to avoid being like this around Mark, knowing his fears.
She is remarkably intelligent, studious and can easily focus on things if need be. Vivian is dedicated to learning and her studies, and strives to excel.
Despite her outward appearance, she has moments of vulnerability. Vivian's sexuality and sexism are particular sore spots for her. She feels a strong sense of justice and wants to help others, pursuing law to do so. Vivian is strong and mostly confident and self assured.
Background:
Vivian was born to Donald and Irene Curtis in 1951, and is a few minutes older than her twin sister Virginia. She has known Julie since they were babies on account of their mothers being best friends, and Vivian always bonded with Julie better than Virginia.
As a teenager, Vivian met Mark, and they easily bonded. She and Julie helped him escape his parents, and the two formed a deep connection, bonding through their shared sense of justice and wanting to help others. Vivian also had revelations about her sexuality, which caused her distress. She did not believe she would be accepted, and it caused some emotional disconnect between her and Mark(part of the reason it took so long for them to get together, the other being Mark's own emotional problems), but she retained her friendship with him and has slowly worked on accepting herself.
In order to help others, Vivian chose to pursue law(also influenced by her dad being a judge). She deals with sexism from people who believe women shouldn't study law, but handles this with confidence and some sass. She also participates in protests with Mark.
Skills:
High intelligence
Other Stuff:
Her name, Vivian, comes from Vivanus which comes from the Latin word “vivus”, meaning “alive”.
Vivian's arc is about acceptance, pride, calm and justice. She initially has a hard time accepting she's bisexual, because she lives in a world that is not accepting of that. And while there is a community who would accept her, Vivian struggles with the idea of being open about this side of her. While looking for Pyri's heir, Mark and Vivian bond and talk. And Mark is openly very accepting of Vivian, assuring her he'll always be by her side. Through him, Vivian gets better at accepting herself, becoming more confident, open and happy with who she is. She also becomes more calm, relaxed and humorous.
Her sense of justice is also evident. She sees Machine who was taken as a baby and used as a weapon, having his agency and choice stripped from him. She sees Pyri intent on taking over Earth for her own personal gain, and she sees how the average fyralogins suffer. Vivian is motivated to change things and to help, and she works with Mark to help the fyralogins, and shows compassion to Machine. The ways she helps others helps herself and adds to her gained confidence and openness.

My Pleasantville Rotation Round 1 Summary
I think I’ll do some Sims 2 story summary once in a while because it makes me enjoy my gameplay more and keep my blog active. Don’t worry, it won’t be too often and flood my blog, I promise! ✒️🛣️
🍁 Lothario-Goth Household (Cassandra, Don, Victor, Nicolo, Tuxedo🐈⬛)
Cassandra Goth finally gets married to Mister Lothario, they have two beautiful children, both male. Their name is Victor and Nicolo, after their great-great-grandfather and their grandfather. But oh no, don’t get it wrong, she hasn’t tamed the playboy down at all. He still has a wondering eye, only his new fatherly duty delayed him a little. He’s still a great father after all.
💵 Goth Household (Mortimer, Dina, Gabrielle, Olivia)
Dina finally got a hold of her bag, but for extra security, she decided to have a baby with Morty. Wait, but I thought you had Gabrielle AND Olivia? Yeah... Olivia is an oops baby... Oops… Oh well, extra secure I guess. But Dina isn’t so fond of child care, so most of the work falls on Mortimer. He’s not complaining tho, he loves them. And remember when I said Lothario still has a wandering eye? He comes to visit Dina every day! So scandalous.
🎀 Girlies Household (Nina Caliente, Kaylynn Langerak, Peek-a-boo🐹)
After getting fired from “The Pleasant Housewreking Incident”, Kaylynn finds comfort in Don Lothario. He knows about the incident from his wife and suggests she move in with Nina (his other fling), she’s been looking for a new roommate after her sister moved out. So Kaylynn did, and they’re so compatible it’s awesome. But this still isn’t a life Kaylynn wants, so she keeps working and saving money so she can move out and start her own family soon. Oh, what about Nina? Yeah, nothing much, she’s happy with what she has now. But she does become a dancer, a girl gotta pay bill somehow.
🏠 Pleasant Household (Daniel, Marry-Sue, Angela, Lilith)
Marry-Sue caught Daniel cheating on her with the maid, but luckily she got a promotion that day so she didn’t have a mental breakdown. Well, I guess luckily for Daniel too because, in the end, he manages to climb back into his wife's bed. Poor Lilith still lives a miserable life, but she plans her escape with her law job. She wants to be a lawyer/judge and get justice for every mistreated teen. Go, Lilith!
🧓🏻 Oldies Household (Herb, Coral, Buffy🐕)
Both Herb and Coral go back to pursue their dream job, what are they gonna do in their free time if not more work? Herb works in music and Coral in oceanography. That’s not the most shocking, they start having polyamory relationships with none other than Kaylynn Lagerak! Oh my.
🍼 Broke Household (Brandi, Dustin, Beau, Skip Jr.)
Brandi popped out her unborn baby, it’s a boy! So she named him Skip Jr. She always loved babies but WATCHER this one she swore was a devil reincarnate because he’s so difficult! He says no to everything, making Brandi not want to have any more babies EVER. So Homegirl starts focusing on feeding her family instead, sadly she gets fired from her first job tho. But the kids (except Skip Jr.) seem doing good, Dustin found his love in drawing, and Beau in cooking!
🎨 Dreamer Household (Darren, Dirk)
Nothing happens much tbh. Darren guy still in love with Cassandra, oh, Dirk won’t do his homework anymore. If he keeps it up he might not be able to go to college. But hey, at least Darren and Dirk are really close now.
🌾 Burb Household (John, Jennifer, Lucy, Paul)
Nothing much happened in this household, except Jennifer thrived in the business career... and other oops baby. Hey, but at least this one is long-wanted by his dad. Can’t say he’s been taken care of so well though, his father is busy gardening.

(Yet another random normal au idea)
Sam Winchester quits law school after the tragic death of his fiance. Chasing nothing and not knowing what to do, he moves around until he meets Ruby in some city. He finds solace in her, even as she drags him into addiction and involves him in her business with the local gang, but he's too out of mind with grief to care. His addiction spirals and debt to his dealer piles up. He doesn't have the money and just doesn't care enough to worry about being killed for not paying up, so he continues to fall and accepts his fate. The last thing he expected to see when they finally did drag him away was to see his estranged older brother, but what's worse is watching helplessly as Dean makes a deal trading his own freedom for Sam's life.
Eileen Leahy is a private detective determined to find justice for her parents' death at the hands of a gang run by Azazel. Due to her own deafness, she befriends a mute man who lives in her apartment complex. Over time, Dean becomes like a brother to her, and her one refuge from the path of vengeance she's on.
When Dean is seemingly kidnapped by the same gang that killed her parents, Eileen searches tirelessly for her friend. In her search for answers, she finds out that not only does Dean's younger brother live in the city, but he also has connections to Azazel's gang. She tracks him down, finding him holed up in a run-down motel in the midsts of withdrawal. She soon realizes through his manic ramblings and frenzied explanations that Dean had been found by Azazel and threatened him to pay for his brother's debt if he didn't want Sam to die.
Dean Winchester gave up on his dreams in order to stay and take care of his dying father. Its rough work, the man had been abusive since Deans mother had died, and money was always tight with all the medical bills. Isolated for years and increasingly dissillustioned with life, he finds himself unable to speak more than the few words he is required. After John dies, he runs away to the city, unable to stay in the house where he had been hurt so much and trying to give life one last chance. Using the money he got from selling his old house, he pursues his dream and moves into an apartment complex in tbe city. There, he meets a deaf private detective who becomes like a sister to him. He's going through a rough patch, struggling with his trauma and his nearly non-existent career, when a knock comes to his door in the middle of the night. A man named Azazel is at his door. The gang leader and his goons force their way inside and inform Dean that his little brother Sam is in debt with their gang. Seeking compensation, Azazel demands the money from Dean, but bring unable to pay, Azazel offers an alternative. Dean could save his brother's life by paying with his freedom: by working at a local 'club' run by a sleezy gang member named Alistair. Dean doesn't have to think about it; Sam may have abandoned him, but Dean would still do anything to look after his little brother.
Cue Sam and Eileen taking down Azazels gang, falling in love, growing as people, and meeting friends and foes along the way (including Castiel: one of the only detectives in the police force who's not corrupt and Rowena: a member of the gang whos seeking to take them down from the inside and many more).
