now assuming reader is mid twenties i think your very existence would have her enraged. aaron seems happier and even healthier. hes got more color in his face, hes put on some healthy weight, he smiles and laughs now, he takes more time off work, his life has clearly significantly improve since she left him and she cant fucking stand it. she thought she was the best thing that ever happened to him and now shes seeing in real time she's actually the worst thing ♥️♥️

Imagine Sindel finding out her youngest daughter is pregnant and refuses to say who the father is. Either because Sindel wouldn't approve, like him being an Earthrealmer, an outcast, or a loyal member of Shao's division. Or because they don't know who the father is, like with that one Havik fic. Whichever happens, just the possibility of being the youngest Outworld princess, the stress of it, and then having to deal with an unplanned pregnancy. (A favored trope of mine).

this could go a lot of different ways! sindel would be VERY protective over her youngest daughter. she is her little baby girl who is precious and sweet. but surprise surprise, her youngest daughter isn't so pure after all. sindel is absolutely outraged to hear her youngest is pregnant. she's not so much angered with her daughter but the person who touched her. sindel demands to know who the father is

now, who the father is plays heavily into how this all plays out. if it's an earthealmer, sindel is still furious but not lethally so. she would see it as very rude considering they were invited as guests and should have been much more respectful to the royal home's family. it's insulting but it can be managed. liu kang would help and explain this would help cement a strong alliance between earthrealm and outworld. sindel would also be more approving if the father was someone respectful and polite. if the father was kung lao or johnny she would be extremely harsh and cold towards them and want them to go through rigorous outworld etiquette classes

let's say the father was someone in shao's division. this is NOT going to go well. tensions between sindel and shao are strenuous. now, put into the mix sindel's favored daughter is made pregnant by someone close to shao? let's say its reiko and he and the princess were having a bit of a secret affair. the princess was probably attracted to him physically and his battle prowess. their relationship was always in the shadows and they often met during the night to enjoy each other's bodies. they love each other but know they cant ever be together considering their respect parents or parental figure despise each other and the noticeable difference in rank between them. well, reiko and the princess were not exactly too cautious and once her pregnancy is made public, reiko would come forward as to not bring too much investigation on the general. Shao is utterly disappointed and gives a verbal beating. sindel is enraged that someone like reiko would touch her precious daughter and order to have him jailed for the time being of course, princess absolutely hates this and she ultimately helps in him avoiding court punishment but shao has a punishment of his own for his obeying orders

what if it was general shao? even worse. sindel would see this as a complete betrayal and borderline treason. shao and the princess developed a relationship when he had to escort her somewhere. it started out with him being annoyed that he was basically a glorified babysitter but the sly princess was quick to seduce him and so began a rather passionate affair during the time he was escorting her. things simmered down once she was returned home but their bedroom visits still occurred and so it was only a matter of time until the princess became with child. shao wouldn't announce himself as the father and neither would the princess but someone who witnessed shao sneaking into the princess' room outs them. sindel has him jailed immediately and strips him of all his ranks and honors. to the royal family he is traitor who will be treated as such and not even the princess' begging can change that

On the reader's end though it would be hard to do anything at all if someone flirts with nikolai though because there's literally no reason to care that much about his love life unless you're jealous

To introduce, I'll recall this ask, about his smile.

Xangr is capable of the best and very inclined of the worst. Its written on his face. He's extremely dunmeri in his proportion to deal with dark happenings and more specifically, he's vengeful. If you ever do something that annoys him, you wont even learn about it until something AWFUL occurs and he's there staring. If you ever hurt him, he'll smile with such honey lips, his eyes shining like daggers, like already appreciating the sight of your anguish. It WILL happen. This mer is a prophete: if he says, it WILL happen. And oh no you DONT WANT Xangr to whisper to you that he's midly inconvenienced with you. The secret swings in his apparently still humors makes him unpredictable, and extremely reassuring on the outside.

This mer has a taste for demise. He waits for Baar Dau to fall. He waits for the Divines to shatter. He waits for Mannimarco to come back. He waits for the Telvanni house to burn bright... And younger, he has sought for Nirn's end. End of the introduction, let's get to it:

The Tower in Reverse: When have your character's actions led to disaster ?

I'll have to make a list.

- As a child, still ashlander, Sigmael got scared and shot a lady with his bow. She thought he was stuck in a dwemeri pipe and wanted to help him out, he killed her instead. It putted immense tension between the Erabenimsun and their Redoran neighbours and led, years later, to their exile. Sigmael was 10 years old, and the wise-woman dreams were predicting he'd shatter the sky to drip a blood so blue Oblivion would expand on Nirn, from his child hands.

- Years later, caught then enslaved for the Telvannis, Xangr appears. Xangr, enraged and absolutely FERAL, traps his master Salaren in his own office and puts it on fire.

- During their 10 years of enslavement, Xangr will attempt to murder Salaren a stupid amont of times. Everything in his hands turned into a weapon, primal wrath made him aiming for the neck, heart and head, and they both exchanged hits and abuse on a daily basis. Still, Salaren adores Xangr (still called Sigmael at the time).

- Xangr eventually got tired that fighting came to no end with Salaren. He chose to saccage his relationship with Asasu instead. She trusted him deeply when he was Sigmael, and became his first victim. Inspired by whispers of his guts, he abused her. She got so shattered by this she pleaded and cried for him to go. Salaren has to listen, Xangr is free. Asasu will never recover, and Xangr learns every kind or violence can lead to his purpose. He's aged around 25.

- In Auridon, tutored by the Altmer Cyriel, he falls in love with him. Cyriel denies their relation as he is both his patient and his pupile, but Xangr insists. He insists so much that Cyriel gave up and had a night with him. It never happened twice despite Xangr's persistance, and Cyriel came to think that even if the dunmer grows better, something is... wrong with him. Cyriel takes distances.

- In Auridon, Cyriel meets a woman then married her. Xangr, absolutely not understanding the idea of marriage, is casted apart bc of how weird he acts with his mentor. He turns bitter then jealous, insanely jealous, and more insanely jealous as Cyriel explains him he cant marry men bc 1) he doesnt like men 2) he has to produce a heir with his wife. Its acted: Xangr hates women. He, too, wants to be married to men but feels so jealous he cannot tolerate women anymore.

- Hating his own body and resolved to do things by himself as Cyriel tries to calm him down, Xangr learns about flesh magic. Its done: he will never come back from it. It will make of him a stupidly good conjurator, and he ends up working for the worms cult, rejecting the mage guild that doesnt allow his studies.

- Fluent in Cyrodilic, Altmeri, Dunmeri and Daedric, he translates as a newcomer the scrolls the Worm master transmits to him. Those scrolls contain instructions to build chains and to grip planes and liminal spaces. He grows interested about this magicka-physical challenge and works tirelessly on it. Years later, the Cell of the Worm he's in build their first dolmen.

- Well considered and treated in the Worm Cult, he's becomming hell of a recruiter. When the planemeld begins and the first anchor falls, Xangr feels in his guts that now there's no turning back anymore, and gives almost his life for his studies. Molag Bal promises him new shapes of his body, the ability to molden it, to even create life, Xangr is obsessed by it. One day, a desperate young Altmer brings her newly bitten young brother. Xangr, seduced by Coldharbour, pretends to them Vampire is a gift. The young man, Valestair, rejects it then flees. His older sister, Qualixte, succombs and embraces vampirism. Xangr is satisfied, such is the Master.

- At the end of the planemeld, Mannimarco betrayed. Xangr falls apart knowing so and Sigmael comes back. Taking off his helmet, Sig leaves the Cell without care. They were in Eastmarch. On the same day, almost all remaining cultists in this cell got killed by nords, as the footprints of Sigmael were leading there. Sigmael/Xangr is considered now a traitor.

- Years and years later, Xangr recovers and changes. He stops working for Molag Bal, which makes him suffer from the remainings of Oblivion he played with. He's growning cold and hungry, more day by day. He's learning to leave by himself, but is still tempted by flesh and repulsed by his own body. A dunmer called Ildaeru comes to him, seeking help, and they will build a strong friendship. Two years ago, Xangr stabbed her in front of Molag Bal's altar, offering her soul to his ancient Master to finally feel warmth again.

- He spended years escaping the Telvanni House as Asasu Llervan gaigned power there. Thirsty for justice and explainations, she seeks him everywhere. On a trip to Summerset, she allied to the Divine Prosecution, explaining a worm cultist was active here. Xangr got caught and lied so GOOD to the justiciars... They ended up thinking the Telvanni house tried to manipulate them into restituing it a lost slave, and as Altmers flatter themselves about not being as rude and brutal as dunmers, they freed him on the Continent for him to flee again. Disastrous, as the allecutions about being a Worm Cultist and bearing forbidden knowledge were true.

And again again again... Its so long to resume it honestly, but it gives a sample <3<3

Yes, Foxy got a real tough life before becoming a vigilante. Grew up in a neglectful environment as a child and was forced to take care of herself. Her adulthood didn't get any better as she was kicked out of her collage and workplace which caused her to be left homeless on the streets of Gotham, where she witnessed the bad gang violence against the homeless population before eventually meeting Bruce Wayne- who will train her to become Gothams new protector.

Due to her rough past- she tries not to let it drag her down into the gutter and instead always tries to lighten the mood or distract herself. As a civilian she is a exhausted looking, dorky 25 year old who is extremely awkward and will blush hard if someone complements her a certain way. She loves jamming out to rock and will actively play her guitar whenever she gets a chance (With Muse, Queen and Gorillaz being her favs), if she's not doing that she's engineering her own devices.

Her persona once dawning the mask is completely different, she becomes confident and energetic, and never afraid to make a quip to or at some. She's a quick problem solver and is always fast on her feet when the time counts. Foxy is also extremely stubborn when it comes to her injuries, and will actively ignore the pain- even if one of her bones have been broken, she'll keep going.

How Foxy deals with the rogue's is the interesting part lol. When she first started out crime fighting, she'd do the usual "beat em up, lock em up" method, but once she first fought the Riddler who was the first rogue she encountered- she saw the years of trauma that he had from being beaten senseless and opted not to "pull a batman" on him or anyone (Except when the time calls for it in extreme circumstances). After that she uses violence against the rogue's as a last resort and instead uses a different approach to throw them off. Flirting. Or just being a menace in general. Foxy will use flirtatious banter to mess with the rogue's, some getting overly flustered, others getting absolutely enraged, or in the extremely rare cases- they flirt back and things take a turn.

I am still working on her story and how she interacts with characters. I've already got a good amount of her story scripted out. It's just the matter of figuring out what to do with it lol

I do have somewhat older drawings I've done with her interacting with people, I would show you but their on my tablet back home. Thinking now, I really need to remake Foxys character sheet lol

Please I will need so much of baby Lydia in the wing au. Especially with her parents. Oh, what were their reactions to finding out she has wings and a horn? Did they only figure it out after she was born or did the ultrasound’s actually show the wings and horns.

Also what about repercussions of a human being born with wings and horns? Would people try to take Lydia away for tests, would she still go to public school? Imagine the gaining over/bullying. Man the amount of childhood trauma

since im leaning more to the classic fantasy setting now, i cant really use the ultrasound concept anymore, unless i bullshit up a magic equivalent. but i think i like the idea more of it being a complete suprise when shes born with her little chicken wings and shit just hits the fan right then.

gonna take this as an oppurtunity to explain the whole family scandal thing i mentioned. emily immediately declared that she loves her child no matter what, and charles stood by her on that, but the extended family were not so enthusiastic. her paternal grandparents... tolerate her. they refuse to comment on where they think her infernal blood came from, but it's clear they have Opinions. charles and emily made an agreement when lydia was quite young that she wold never be alone with them, just in case. emily's parents, though, make no effort to disguise their feelings. they immediately declare that charles must be the one with infernal blood, since they already have a grandson who is 'normal', and tell emily to leave him and 'his hellspawn'. emily no longer talks to her parents, and lydia has no memory of them. the closest thing she ever had to contact with them was when she was somewhere in the range of 7-9, when her older cousin, the aforementioned 'normal' grandson, took it upon himself to relay all the horrible things granny and grandad say about her. his parents backed him up when charles and emily confronted them, so they got cut off too. part of charles relocating for a 'fresh start' after emilys death was to take lydia further away from her mothers side of the family, as he'd been hearing through the grapevine that emilys parents were attempting to blame lydia for the death somehow.

to go deeper into charles and emily, though: emily thinks lydia is just wonderful, and is enraged that anyone would think she's inherrently evil. how could you be mad at a baby for having silly-looking scraggly little chicken wings? she never really believed in the inherrent rightousness of deitys, and so she has no ill will towards fallen angels, but even if she did lydia being descended from them says nothing about her. after all, for her to be an infernal child means either emily or charles has infernal blood, and she loves charles and she loves herself so blood cant be all that important, can it?

charles has more or less the same beliefs, but he worries a lot about lydia. hes constantly afraid for her safety, and emilys given what people will think of her for birthing an infernal child. sometimes this manifests in him being a little strict, not wanting lydia to play too rough or fly too much in public, not wanting her to draw attention to herself or make people think any worse of her than they do already. this is only made worse after emily died, with what her family are saying and a new town to make an impression on, but obviously wanting lydia to be on her best behaviour while shes grieving doesnt go over too well.

lydia wouldnt be taken for testing, since while infernal children arent massively common they arent unexplained. there are, however, people who think infernal children should be locked away. luckily, being born to parents of a decent social standing, lydia was more or less safe from that sort of thing. she was homeschooled by tutors, but she still had interactions with other children. some were still innocent enough to just be curious, some had already been taught to hate or fear her. shes had friendly kids bullied into abandoning her, been chased and wrestled just so kids could show off by 'beating the demon', had stones thrown at her. the works.

Jake: loves golf but really really really fucking sucks at it. he has well over like 600 hours playing golf but he has not seen any improvement at all. not even a little bit. doesn't stop him from dragging his friends to golf "adventures" every chance he gets

dirk: does not care about golf. honestly kinda dislikes golf but goes along with Jake when he asks for the ironies. he inadvertently actually gets good at it??? this fact alone makes him start to like golf especially when Jake hits the ball into the water for the 12th time while hes already done

Roxy: does not give a DAMN about golf. actively tries to avoid Jake when she knows that he has the golf hankering. when she is inevitably dragged along she sucks shit at it and hates her life the whole time. shares this sentiment with Jane. eventually fucks off when no one's looking

June: finds the whole concept of golf confusing and kinda stupid. every time she does golf with The Gang she unintentionally ends up in the woods or some bullshit going on some magical quest. she's pretty OK at it otherwise but yeah she just unconsciously fucks off every time

jade: HATES GOLF SO FUCKING MUCH!!!!! never ever ever wants to go golfing when Jake asks and will always say no. good for her. finds the whole thing stupid and a GROSS waste of space and water. this makes Jake sad and she knows that so she tries to enjoy it but... she just can't. she just. CANT.

Dave: does not give a fuck about golf. is not invited to the golf expeditions usually but will sometimes just crash it. intentionally sucks shit at it for goofs. somehow does better than Jake though and that drives him fucking wild

rose: also does not care about golf. joins Dave in being intentionally shitty at it. will actually try if she's pressed though. finds it really really really boring though and can't help but wonder where June went off to and if she could join her in a magical woodland escapade instead of watching Jake accidentally brutalize innocent squirrels over and over and over again

Karkat: hates the idea of golf but then he starts doing it and for whatever reason actually likes it. I think it'd be a real struggle to get him to go out and do it in the first place but he hits one (1) ball and is like WOW.... I COULD DO THIS FOREVER. wears khakis and polo shirts. tiger woods Karkat au

kanaya: wants to like golf but doesn't really know what's going on. the rules are explained to her upwards of 100 times but she still doesn't get it. you almost start to wonder if its intentional... (it is). somehow wins the whole game though

terezi: eats the balls. swims in the lake. breaks like 3 golf clubs. doesn't even try to learn the rules cause she knows she'll hate it. just tries to fuck around as much as possible and make Jake eat his shorts

vriska: wants to win. no........ NEEDS to win. will literally kill someone over golf and that someone is dirk because I think that'd be funny. I also think she'd win through brute force and willpower alone. like, the game is over, Kanaya won, but she DEMANDS a rematch. everyone else has fucked off at this point though so its pretty much just her vs Jake and dirk. she wins and kills dirk with a club

Once you realise that your boyfriend was also somehow involved in the fight you inwardly groaned. Noticing the blood smeer on his cheek you felt a tiny part of you groan that you missed out on whatever fight happened. Although taking another look at the three, it didnt look that there was much of a fight. Fred didnt look like he was injured at all and seeing as Aces brother was drunk, the blood was presumably his.

“Oi, whats going on?” Kadija shouted enraged, walking over to Ace & his brother who were glaring at eachother ferociously. While Aces features bore an annoyed expression, his brother, Leonardo, had a scowl sprawled on his. Dear Salazar, how Y/N despised Leonardo. He was loud & rude & a cocky arrogant bastard, but not even in the funny way, just a plain fucking asshole to everyone. It was strange how different the two brothers were, no one would ever think they were related.

Several minutes earlier, before the small crowd & you had arrived, the brothers were engaged in an argument about who knows what, probably something stupid, but it was getting violent & Fred had noticed it by then. Fred being Fred, butted in and tried to stop the pair before it got too bad, but clearly whatever made the brothers be so angry, was still hung in the air.

After a long stare off with his brother, Ace relaxed a bit and turned to face Kadija “‘Ts nothing you need to worry about Ka, he’s going home now.” A grunt was heard from Leonardo as Ace placed a hand on his shoulder.

“You lot heard that!” Angel shouted at the crowd “Scam! Fuck off the lot of you, the shows over!” With various groans of annoyance, the people slowly dispersed and finally it was just six left on the scene. To your greatest disappointment Leonardo was included.

Finally getting over the weird feeling, Y/N’s body decides to un-freeze and run over to Fred to check if he was alright, unbeknown to her, the eyes of the other two men followed her as she caressed the auburn haired man. The sight of her with someone else, specifically someone he didnt know, made Ace tense up.

“What happened? Are you alright?” Brushing Freds hair out of his face, you ask, but before he even had the chance to respond someone else piped up.

“Ah, our lovely Y/N is back-“ the voice was filled with pure hatred and all of it was directed exactly at you. The mere sound of it made your blood boil, but nevertheless, you turned around calmly to glare at the man in disgust. “-wha’cha doing back here huh? Thought ya pissed off for good last time.” Leonardo was unsteady on his feet, the alcohol had clearly gotten to him, that was also visible by the faint outline of a bruise on his eye, you found yourself hoping that it was a painful one.

Fred, who was standing right behind you to your right was looking from you, to the man that was talking, even he was able to feel the uncomfortable tension that was radiating from the two of you now. Confusion led its way to his mind as to why you seemed to hate eachother so, and made a mental note to ask you about it later.

Y/N and Leonardo never had a solid reason to hate eachother, apart from the fact that he was so far up his own arse that he could wave you hello out of his mouth. Bar from that he was just plain unlikeable to Y/N, and her being the stubborn person she was- once her mind is made up on someone its unlikely to change. The man in turn despised Y/N for... well, being a woman one would assume. As he never had a problem to sleep around himself but when she did it, its suddenly becomes a crime. Fucking sexist little prick. He was also just not genuinely a nice person- not something that Y/N would normally have a problem with as people can be assholes and she wouldnt bat an eye- but not when that behaviour was directed at her & her friends.

“Fuck off Leonardo” you seethe, barely restraining yourself from punching that gross smug look right off his face “I wouldnt start anything you cant finish if I were you.” Kadija & Angel noticing your involvement, stepped closer to you to make sure you wouldnt do anything stupid.

The man made a mocking noice, one to signify that he found no threat in your words “ooo- Y/N L/N getting her big girl boots on is she?” He doubbled over and let out a laugh that sounded more like a croak, before getting back up and stumbling closer over to you.

Y/N was not one to back down from a challenge, especially one from a man. Albeit not the best trait to possess currently , as men are vengeful creatures, but she knew to stand her grround. “If you wish to insult me you really need to learn how to do it properly.” Her eyes look him up & down in distaste before continuing “Now if you’re going to pollute the air around you, please do that somewhere else as your aroma now...” she pulls a face of utter disgust “...is certainly not one I’d wish for anyone to be around.”

Leonardo scowled at her, yet proceded to ignore whatever she said, focusing more on what he wanted to say “I see you’ve a new fella…“ his eyes trailed behind the woman and locked with Fred for a moment

Your blood ran cold

After a long intense silence where no one said a thing, Fred reached his arm infront of Y/N and lightly pulled her back just enough so he was closer to Leonardo, not in a dismissive way but protective. He really didnt like this guy “Listen mate, you’ve clearly had a long night and you’re drunk. You should go home.” his jaw tense

Leo scoffed at him “Im not your mate”

The red head cocked his head to the side before slowly saying “No. Obviously not.”

Angel groaned and looked over to Ace “take him upstairs, let him sleep it off” reluctantly handing him the keys bar and the flats above “maybe he wont be a dick in the morning”

You scoffed and muttered under your breath “unlikely” only loud enough for Fred to hear. Ace nodded and mumbled a few thanks and goodnights before steering his brother back into the direction of the building.

The four of them stood in the alley for a while glad that whole interaction was over. Fred began to feel a bit awkward so he turned to Kadija and Angel, being the first one to break the silence “What crawled up his arse and died?” all of you chuckled before he continued “-anyway, thanks for the good night both, i had loads of fun and it was really nice meeting you”

Kadijha nodded with a grin “Glad we finally met the infamous Fred Weasley” she went to hug him as Angel piped in simultaneously

“Apart from that twat ruining the end it was so good to finally meet you hon!” she turned to you and pulled you into the tightest hug youve probably ever had and whispered into your ear “if hes even a tenth as amazing as you’ve described him Y/N make sure you keep him.”

A faint smile etched its way onto your face “He’s even better” your voice barely above a whisper. “I’ll see you so very soon alright?” pulling away you kiss her cheek and turn to your cousin “Promise me you two will be safe Ka, you gotta promise me you wont get caught up in…” you shudder, she doesnt even need you to finish the sentence, knowing you mean the Death Eater family members.

Pulling you into a warm embrace she reassures you “Promise. Cross my heart and hope to die. We’ll be safe.” lingering for a few more seconds you let this moment sink in, before pulling away with a ghost of a smile.

“Alright, I love you guys so much, watch out for my owl!” you shout as you and Fred begin to walk away into the night.

“We better be seeing you soon!”

sorry for the abrupt ending of this? i wrote the start like two years ago and havent done anything since lol. anyway i wanna try writing again so hopefully i have inspiration soon <3 i promise the next chapter will be juicy & full of fluff xxx

i have a weird idea in my head thats like. only half formed so i prob wont write it and also doesnt seem that interesting. but its just balls to the wall shit in the form of qiu haitang also being replaced by a transmigrator but like. very early on.

she knows shen jiu will kill her whole family. shes just in the body of a child though and the system wacks her if she tries to get him kicked out or even thinks about having him thrown out. so she grits her teeth and puts up with him sitting in her room or staying close by her. 

until she notices things a typical child wouldnt. he is kept well groomed but usually his clothes are of lesser quality even tho hes supposed to be her fiance. sometimes his sleeves slip up and she’ll see bruises. he is unusually quiet, not the weird pervert the og sqq from pidw. he is quiet, nervous, his eyes get progressively more hopeless, and whenever her brother’s voice rings out in the house or her brother looks at him he stiffens up and looks ill. 

then she hears, while sneaking around, her brother beating him. and she realizes whats rly going on here. 

she ends up getting ooc freedom. she lets him hide in her room. she calls him more and more often. she gives him medicine for his bruises. she learns to hate her brother and the way he looks at her, hate the people who live there and think they can keep this from her. she talks to him, genuinely, trying hard not to poke at his abuse too much but give him an outlet. when he starts limping into her room she starts sobbing and shen jiu doesn’t even know why. shen jiu is no longer a villain who conspired against her and her family but an unwitting shackle to keep her there while they abuse him to the point of insanity. 

and then one night she can’t sleep. she lays there tossing and turning. she has a bad feeling. she cant sleep knowing shen jiu is probably being hurt. qiu haitang creeps out of her room, to her brother’s study, and hears him beating shen jiu senseless, and she just snaps. she bursts in, demanding answers. she cant take it holding her tongue anymore. her brother is getting aggressive now, telling her to mind her business and go back to playing pretend, to being a good daughter to their family. he makes a motion to hit her. shen jiu attacks him from behind, enraged and he hits so hard he’s barreling toward the wall. 

he barely has time to turn around before a heavy paperweight is in front of him and qiu haitang is bludgeoning him to death. system be damned, she cant fucking take this anymore!

she’s only stopped when shen jiu pulls her off him. he’s already long dead, blood coating her inner robes and the floor. his head is unrecognizable. something in her feels just as shattered as his skull. she’s killed a man. 

shen jiu tells her he is going to kill everyone in his manor. she tells him to let her pack her things; she has no intention on stopping him. her love of this place and this family died when she first heard her brother beating shen jiu. its more than dead now, rotting in her heart like a corpse knowing her brother was going to beat her too for stepping in. qiu haitang simply leaves him as the manor goes up in flames with the advice to not just the new teacher he is going to get and to go to cang qiong.

qiu haitang learns cultivation on her own for a bit. shes a wandering cultivator. she wonders how much she’ll fuck up the plot if she refuses to be luo binghe’s wife. she doesnt have it in her to go after shen jiu for the murder of her family; they deserved it. and she knew shen jiu would never hurt her; that he probably never hurt the original qiu haitang either. that he had saved her after paying back everyone in that manor that had hurt him and then burnt that hell to the ground.

but then cang qiong disciples from qian cao or another peak find her. the system doesnt tell her she shouldnt. she goes. shen jiu is still a bit rotten and bitter, but hes a bit better. she encourages him to talk to yqy. she never becomes a peak lord i dont think, but i think she’d be interested in medicine after she failed to help shen jiu when they were younger with his injuries. by the time luo binghe comes sqq is still dedicated to making his life hell, but she knows why now--she called her brother a’luo. she can see the way shen jiu sees both himself and her brother in lbh. much like yqy she cant bring herself to blame him entirely; she wishes it wasn’t happening both bc lbh doesnt deserve it and she doesnt want sqq to suffer, but he is pretty dedicated to being at least a lil cruel. 

i think qht figuring out shq was a fellow transmigrator early would be funny. she and an ding’s peak lord just bitch all the time locked in a room. double points if this qht is gay. sqh like “why were YOU reading by bad stallion novel” “for the hot women obviously. women are gorgeous. you write a lot of very pretty women, its hard to not find several you like and theyre really fun. dont want to be in the harem tho.” 

and then ofc shen yuan transmigrates late into the game. he has no idea why qht is at cang qiong. he has no idea why yqy is a little nicer to him than usual. he acts like she is going to ruin his life. its only after a while she figures out this is NOT shen jiu. and slowly spirals as she realizes her friend is fucking gone. shen jiu is gone, for good. shen yuan has no idea how to help. he does however get the exposition dump of sqq’s sad backstory though, which he may or may not use for sympathy with lbh. 

now theres three idiots bitching about missing the internet and what to do with the plot even before the conference. theyve potentially thoroughly fucked it up now. shq doesnt wanna die. sqq doesnt wanna have his limbs cut up. qht doesnt wanna be in a harem and misses her childhood best friend.

you mean this??? shdbic aaa Yeah I want to write it, but i also want to write a lot of things. xD but this is def one of those things i’d love to write a short-ish one-shot about just so I can write it.

can you imagine? Virgil, young and anxious, manifesting powers of the light and dark variety, able to manipulate shadows and summon electricity with such fine precision because he’s spent so long fretting over accidentally hurting someone with it that he refused to even dare try and step into the hero scene until he was 150% certain that he’d trained his powers to disconnect from his emotions so that he’d never have an outburst that could even harmlessly shock or scare someone. He’s so in control over his powers that its to an insane degree just because he wants to make sure he cant hurt anybody on accident.

(complete ramble continued under the cut bc boy howdy this got so long it might as well be its own short one-shot)

And, he’s worked so in depth with his powers because of course he can’t just suppress them!(Suppressing electricity based powers doesn’t get rid of that energy, it just makes that constantly generating energy stay put and build, which makes it even more dangerous when it’s finally released, so suppression is a no go) So of course not only does he work extensively with learning how to control his powers, but also how to healthily use them and expend his energy safely, effectively, and skillfully as he grows into them. Might as well push your limits of learning just how much your power can do if you have to learn how to exist safely around others by controlling it, right?

So, by default, by the time Virgil is both old enough and confident enough in his powers to consentingly apply for registry to the worlds heroes association, he’s both insanely skilled with his powers, and also insanely talented(the equivalent to a child prodigy, not that many people in charge of the worlds hero association believe that, though.). The people who had been interviewing him believed the same, thinking him to be just another super teenager boasting about his skills when they couldn’t even sense his power, thinking that what little power Virgil did have was not even worth bothering to report anything substantial about the interview. That he’d oughta go try the villain’s headquarters, because at least they take in wandering powerless for henchmen all the time.

Virgil, feeling pissed but not quite enraged yet, because what teenager wouldn’t hate it to be so invalidated and demeaned at being out right dismissed as a threat, let alone considered more of an invalid for not having powers, starts to display his power. 

First it’s the main interviewer’s phone that they’d been glancing boredly at, drained suddenly of all power. Then it’s the landline of that specific room, then it’s the lamp, the computer suddenly shuts off with zero warning and nothing of it turns on. The lamp in the corner of the room goes dark, bulb by bulb, and the printer in the room dies. Virgil’s eyes are glowing violet but he hasn’t moved any more than the annoyed twitch of an eyelid. the light’s overhead turn off, leaving the lights in the hallway still on, leaving the remaining light in the room coming from the single window in the room and the open doorway. 

He reaches up a hand, and snaps once, and shadows swallow up the light over the hallway and the window, acting as a wall from the inside and out. 

Now the only light in the room is his glowing eyes.

The second interviewer is struggling to summon fire from her hands to light the room, but it doesn’t work. The energy she’s using to summon the fire is immediately sapped by Virgil’s force, there isn’t even a spark. The first interviewer can feel Virgil’s power now, it’s bright and burning. It’s like he has a core in the middle of his being like a sun’s core because its storing so much power, and the only reason they can see it now is because Virgil’s using his power. He has so much control that even on a nonphysical level it’s nearly tangible, the way that they can see his shadow powers conceal even the existence of his power, now that they know what their looking at.

In mere seconds, this kid has tipped the world on their head and put the fear of god into them, an undetected yet undeniable threat in the making. 

They watch his eyes tilt with his head, and the distinct sound of the entire building powering down is unmistakable, shouts of surprise and confusion due to the failure of the buildings many fail-safes failing to trigger. And then, with another snap, all power is restored to normal in the blink of the eye, all machines and lights are functioning perfectly, not an irregular shadow in sight, and all at once Virgil reads as a normal human teenager, not a whiff of power to be sensed. He looks pretty peeved, though.

“Maybe I will try my luck at the Dark Side then, at least they care about the people that look to be taken in. Let me know if you changed your mind, I’d love to have a do-over. With a different set of interviewers, mind you.” before he walks out of the interview room, off to blow off some steam legally and safely.

Imagine his outrage when a week later he’s served a summons to court, deeming him a “Threat to Society” and “better left in jail until the court can be convinced of his good nature” because he’s an “out of control juvenile gifted with an unprecedented amount of power that he couldn’t possibly control without strict legal supervision and interference and cannot be trusted to continue to exist as a normal citizen until the W.H.A deems it safe.”

Faced with possible lifelong inprisonment and zero control over the rest of his life because an association of supers think that they know better and that he’s some stupid teenager that was set loose on the world with means to only cause catastrophe and devastation, or freedom at the hands of some ambiguously grey moral decisions every once in a while and being treated as a normal human being even if he has to be a henchman to another super for a while? 

The decision isn’t a hard one to make.

So imagine his surprise when he’s not only accepted into the Dark Side after being respectfully asked to demonstrate the full extent of his power and his control over it, but instead of becoming a villain’s henchmen, he instead gains the full title of Villain(with another Villain(Janus) stepping in to mentor him and show him the ropes of the rules and everything), and even further: Gets his own henchmen assigned to him. 

A pair, Patton and Logan. 

Patton has a partial shapeshifting ability, but it only really lets him turn into a big frog man, making him perfect for doing any of the main heavy lifting for the team, and also perfect for protecting Logan when under attack. He’s built like a himbo and is absolutely 100% a himbo, heart of gold, super strong, buff dad bod, the whole sha-bang.

Logan has a power that is one part linked with memory, one part linked with technology. His brain can retain information like a computer databank, and he can get any misfunctioning technology to work if he can get his hands on it or a connection to it. He avoids all the quirks that interfere or damage real databanks and technology(like magnets, water, and short-circuiting) and can semi-directly connect with devices he is familiar with, without having to hold/touch/look at one.

All together, they have the beginnings of a well rounded team: the brawns, the brains, and the leader with plans and the power to make it happen. Even before finding out their reasons for coming to the dark side, Virgil becomes ride or die for them. (And honestly, they’re also pretty ride or die for him too, not even starting with the fact that they’re both like 26-27 and Virgil is an 18 year old anxious mess that had to make the decision over being the bad guy or losing any and all autonomy for the foreseeable future, which is gonna fuck up any kid and young adult’s brain. So, lowkey adopt him as a younger sibling even though he’s the boss of them and just barely taller than them.(Virgil is a tol lanky boi, and while Logan, standing at 5′9″, is but an inch shorter than Virgil at the start, Virgil still has growing room and peaks at about 6′4″ by the time hes 22. Patton at his normal height is like 5′6″, but frog man height is like 8′3″)

Oh, and they definitely make the Worlds Hero Association regret not taking Virgil’s existence kindly, Big Time.

Twilight: a review

I am only talking about twilight ( the first book only) and I will try to not take any later books into account. Also, some of this will be a little cynical/overly mean so if that bothers you just ignore me.

1. Edward vs Jacob

Yeah I’m talking about this first. Jacob is a better character and significantly more enjoyable then Edward as a whole.

That being said I don’t like the idea of Jacob and Bella being a couple, they don’t have that type of chemistry

2. What I liked

The beginning. I will admit it wasn’t the 100% best writing and at times it could be boring but all the way up until Bella has dinner with Edward is somewhat enjoyable

Edward’s family. Yeah they’re a little weird/creepy sometimes but they’re really enjoyable characters.

Jacob. He was genuinely really good, I liked him a lot he was cool. I do wish his and Bella’s friendship was explored more ( they only talk like twice I believe.) ( also I know he gets weird later and imprints on a baby, I’m not talking about that here that’s getting saved for later)

The foreshadowing. I like how things are mentioned really early in the book then explained later, granted it’s the bare minimum but it’s something

3. What I hated ( some of this is nitpicking)!

Bella. I’ll go more in depth later but she has so much wasted potential

The relationships. They all feel like they move way too fast…maybe that’s a me thing but they all felt either too rushed or that they were taking too long

Bella saying she’s ugly and no one likes her then getting asked out three times ( not including Edward.)

The second half of the book. Everything sort of fell apart in my opinion. I don’t really know why I don’t like it it just feels awkward. It also feels like everything is happening all at once while nothing is happening at the same time.

Edward. Again I’ll talk more about it later and go more in depth but one he was creepy and two he had so much potential. He is such an interesting character and it kind of feels like it all gets overshadowed by his weird stalking.

The pacing. Maybe it’s because I read slow but it feels like there’s a whole lot of nothing then a whole lot of everything. ( this one is more reiterating what I said previously.)

The glittering in the sun thing. Idk this just felt lazy, it doesn’t enrage me I honestly don’t care I just think it’s funny.

The age gap. I give this one more of a slide then I do others cause Edward acts and looks like a teenage boy. That being said it’s still weird. I do like how it’s not constantly being shoved in your face by everyone. Doesn’t make it any less gross but maybe I’ll get over it.

Eric, he’s hardly in the book and yet he drives me nuts. Mike to an extent but he’s pretty okay other than crushing on Bella.

4. Thoughts on characters

Jacob: I like him, he wasn’t in there enough to do anything wrong but he wasn’t spectacular either.

Edward: he has moments where he’s enjoyable and then he does something weird and makes you hate him again. He could’ve been an extremely interesting character but he just ends up being weird and borderline possessive

Bella: she’s so boring. Like she has a personality it’s just not a good one. You can really tell this was written in the early 2000s. Also it becomes abundantly clear very quickly that she’s a self insert ( which isn’t always a bad thing but here it’s a negative.) yet you can still see where she could’ve been interesting. Like there are so many moment that I was like “ wow maybe Bella isn’t so bad” then she freaks out from not seeing Edward for a day.

Bella’s parents: I didn’t care for either of them at all. Yes it’s a tragic love story but there was not enough of anything to make me like them.

Bella’s school friends: wow these guys were not fleshed out whatsoever. I cant even remember half of their names ( granted I have a poor memory.) they had almost no importance to the plot and were more or less there to make Bella seem like she had friends but ultimately fails at that task.

Edwards siblings: I actually really like them!! They felt like actual characters and not just filler. Although the borderline incest makes me uncomfortable. I know they’re not technically related but if you have to say technically then it’s still weird.

Carlisle: this man is so much more interesting then literally every other character. I want a spin off book about him and him alone

5. Other thoughts/comments/concerns

I enjoyed this book for what it was, mediocre garbage. It’s good for a quick laugh and an easy read but other than that it completely mediocre.

You can see hints of something good though. Edwards character has so much potential that just feels so under utilized, same with every other character, even the plot has some great moments in it

While I do like the thought of Alice x Bella, I would still criticize it for the same reasons I do Bella and Edward ( age gap, power imbalance ect)

Ok, I love the role swap concept with zuko and azula, but I feel like they switch their abilities and personalities a bit too and I think itd be more fun without that. Where Azula is an antisocial and unstable genius who wants to gain power and zuko still struggles with being the less powerful and extremely empathetic sibling. So here's how I'd do it.

(Note, this is just for fun. I'm not saying anyone else's version is bad. But I've though about this so much and need it out of my head before I go off cuz make a whole comic and I do not have the time, i need to work.)

First off, Azula wouldn't call out in concern for the men like how zuko did. In my version she's allowed into the meeting because of the aptitude for strategy shes shown. She speaks up because it's an inefficient plan that uses up too many resources when there are other options. This enrages her father and leads to the agni kai. Azula is terrified and feels betrayed but has no idea how to handle any of it. She fights back during the agni kai, but in her panic she sets off a bolt of lightning. Ozai finishes the match and severely burns on her lower back. Azula is banished for her use of lightning on the fire lord (bc ozai fears she will no longer be easy to manipulate and might plot his death) and is forced to leave the next morning.

Some things to note: azula is eleven at this point. I changed the placement of the scar bc I think zuko's is very symbolic in a way that doesnt suit azula. Zuko's scar being over his eye and close to the light chakra shows the way his view of the fire nation and honour obscures his vision and how he is unaware of the truth of the world under fire nation rule. I set azula's over her spine because that chakra is based on survival and blocked by fear. It also represents trust which will fit into her arc with the gaang. Finally, she doesnt have Iroh to guide her. One of the things that bothered me was Iroh writing her off as evil despite her being a mentally unstable child. She did have to be defeated, but the way he talked about it was too dismissive. (Personally I think he was projecting his views of his brother and his perceived failures with him onto her.) Azula isnt sent to capture the avatar so she isnt given soldiers. She's completely alone without an advisor to look to or keep her calm.

Azula is given a manned ship with a disgraced soldier and an attendant when she leaves. The way I see it the soldiers zuko had were probably more irohs than his. The soldier is relieved to not be executed but hates being demoted to playing babysitter to a child at sea. The attendant views it as a punishment and hates Azula for it. Eventually the attendant will betray her and be killed for it. Azula never trusted the soldier and he eventually leaves to start a family in an earth kingdom colony. Azula doesnt miss him, he was no longer useful. The loneliness does get to her though.

Azula is obsessed with getting the underhand, so she had been successfully building connections and planting spies where needed.

(Zuko has been acting as a respectable crowned prince. He holds a zealous loyalty to his nation and father. He still faulters as Iroh tries to steer him from tyranny, but his sights are set on his father's approval and that alone. Afterall, if his prodigy could be discarded who's to say what would happen to him if he failed?)

This brings us to the start of the series. Like Zuko Azula witnesses the trap on the old fire nation battle ship go off. She investigates and finds that an air bending avatar is living at the south pole village. She decides she wants to speak with him.

Azula didn't believe the avatar existed before this point. Hiding didnt add up to her knowledge of the morality of airbenders, so she assumed the air nation avatar from the start of the war would be dead. She would know if one had appeared in the water tribe, as the south had all its benders killed and the north was compacted so close together it would be impossible to hide. Earth would be harder, but they were most likely to fight back and out act. And if in ba sing se they'd be used as a weapon or gotten rid of to preserve the peace of the city. Once the culcle progressed to the fire nation it would either be used to take over the other nations or enf the cycle for good. After all, there hasn't been an air bender for a hundred years even if the rumors of some acolytes surviving were truthful.

Azula kidnaps aang with far more ease than she should of been able to. Once he stops struggling she calmly offers him tea and promises to release him once their discussion is finished. He takes the tea and drinks it without question and besides a wary glare shows no more hostility. She thought him a fool, the tea could have easily been poisoned and promised are nothing but words. His naivete makes her job easier though.

She finds out that he was suspended frozen in the avatar state the last 100 years. And so, Azula informs him of the war and the fire nations crimes, advising him to master the elements if he wants to prevent all his new friends and the avatar cycle from certain destruction. Aang is conflicted, he never asked for any of this. Azula just gives a bitter smile. "The hands of fate were never designed to take requests, they move without regard to any life dependent on it. Dont waste your breath when there is nothing you can do."

Azula wants to see Ozai fail. If helping the avatar is what it takes then so be it. When his friends appear to save him she let's them leave without a fight. Theyll be useful in the future.

As the gaang's travels kick off she sets out to find out if the rumours about the acolytes are true. In this she finds a traveling circus. The youngest daughter and an old friend of hers was eager to escape and found Azula's life exciting. She didn't hesitate after being invited along, insisting that traveling would be easy for her and that she'd pull her own weight.

She encounters the gaang a few times as time goes by. The relationship is reluctant on the water tribe siblings part, they dont trust her and hold a decent amount of fear towards her. Her cold and calculating demeanor was unsettling, but the unhinged way she fought was terrifying. Her form was perfect and her attacks were precise, but the bigger the fight the more lost she became as she laughed and shrieked and occasionally snapped at someone who didnt seem to be there. The only worse reaction was when she zeroed in on one opponent, picking them apart both mentally and physically as she drove them to the ground. )

Things that'll happen as I move through an episode list:

Azula doesn't have her ship attacked do she diesnt run into zhao while doing repairs, instead going straight to ty lee.

Azula learns that the gaang is on kyoshi island and heads ther after them. She has been keeping track of the avatar as they move. Ty lee gets along well with the kyoshi warriors while azula buts heads with them. They dont want her there and azula hates it when people get in the way. Zhao appears to try to capture aang and Azula dips at the same time as the gaang. She tells ty lee she can stay but she insists on sticking with azula. This puts her on edge.

Ty lee gets captured by earth benders, when she escapes on her own she cements her usefulness to Azula.

They run into zhao trying to capture the avatar and azula tells him she'll capture him first. They both attack aang during the solstice, though azula's attacks are all purposefully set to miss and trip up zhao as much as possible. Aang is the best way to prove her father wrong and she's not going to lose that.

They rob the pirates that try to capture the avatar. Azula needs the resources and it gives her leverage over the gaang.

After almost killing ty lee for scaring her by popping up behind her Azula tells her why she was banished. (In more of a "my own mother thought I was a monster" way than an opening up about trauma way.)

Azula learns that zhao has captured aang and frees him. She then sets to reworking her information network as not all of them are scared enough of her to not fail her. She remedies it quickly.

Azula learns that zhao is plotting her assassination and decides it's the perfect moment to fake her death.

Azula enters the north pole to defeat zhao and gain any information she can. Ty lee rades a library during the confrontation. Zhao is surprised and infuriated to see her alive, Azula smiles as she sends him to his death knowing that she is not only helping the avatar but also that he gave her a perfect way to hide from the fire nation. (When news of his sisters death reaches hum, Zuko doesnt know what to think. She was always cruel to him, but she was still his little sister.)

The crown prince of the fire nation is sent to capture the avatar. Azula follows him as he begins his search. (Zuko begins to think he's going insane as he keeps catching glimpses of his recently deceased sister out of the corner of his eye.)

Ty lee keeps running into a girl she slowly befriends. She's gloomy and sarcastic and ty lee thinks Azula would like her. (Zuko's fiance Mai tells him that she thinks his sister is still alive.)

As Azula notices ty lee become more and more distracted as she absorbed herself into the cultures that surround them she decides it's best for them to split up. Ty lee diesnt agree, but Azula leaves anyway. She has work to do.

While traveling alone Azula cant escape the thoughts of her mother. Of her fathers betrayal. Of the life she lost because the idiot elders had no grip on proper strategy that even a child could create. She meets a boy that reminds her far too much of zuko with a mother far to similar to theirs. When she sends the bandits controlling the town running she knows it's more than just controlling a territory that compelled her. But at the same time she doubts not following through on the whim would have bothered her.

Ty lee meets toph and chat for a bit. Ty lee tells her about azula and how she left. When toph tells her she should forget her she insists that azula didnt really ditch her and that they're still friends. They talk about their friends and childhood.

Ty lee finds Azula and immidiently jumps at her, which she does not enjoy. Ty lee insists that she still wants to travel with her and Axula sighs as she let's her tag along to the next location, ba sing se.

Azula slips through guards and protocols as she tries to gain any information she can to help her once they reach the city. Ty lee befriends a guy named jet and his group, the freedom fighters. When he tries to get more than friendship she turns him down and it becomes much more awkward.

Ty lee becomes a street performer and chames everyone she meets as Azula researches the dai lee and how they keep control. After lashing out in frustration ty lee drags her out to enjoy the city's night life.

Azula learns of the presence of the avatar and location of appa. She frees him and sets to work taking control of the dai lee. She let's herself be briefly captured but her plan shifts when katara is thrown in with her. Katara is pissed just being around her and azula plays up a cool kind of annoyance. Katara briefly catches sight of the burns on Azula's back and offers to heal her, only for Azula to freak out and yell at her to stay away, backing against a far wall in a fighting stance. They are saved by the rest if the gaang and ty lee shortly after.

Azula goes back to try and salvage her plan only to be caught off guard by the appearance of her brother and his offer to return to the fire nation. Not willing to lose all possible advantages, she agrees. They battle the gaang, and when they are almost captured azula sends a bolt of lightning at aang, causing them to retreat. Katara can heal him more easily than she can maneuver them out of an execution.

Azula returns to the fire nation with her brother, mai and ty lee, starting the beginning of a large power play between her and her father. They are sent to lo and li beach house. The relationship between the siblings is tense, zuko has always been the child born with nothing who gained everything when his blessed at birth sister lost it all. Azula has always been cruel, but he cant help but let his heart catch on the moments when she's not. ("My own mother thought I was a monster, My father thought i was too difficult to keep around" "Don't let their words blind you, you need to be more careful, zuzu." "I learned the hard way to never turn your back to anyone, and the scars will always be there as a reminder if I need it." )

Azula runs into iroh, who is very disapproving of her presence. He warns her to stay away from zuko and to watch herself while at the palace. Later, zuko comes to her asking about their great grandfather. Upon being pressed he admits that he was sent a mysterious letter. He thought she was going to burn it when he handed it to her but instead the heat from the fire revealed a hidden ink. "Honestly brother, did you ever pay attention at all during lessons?" They find a autobiographical scroll of their great grandfathers life and the secret that their other great grandfather was roku. Azula scoffed at the idea of bloodlines deciding fate and quickly left. But Zuko remained conflicted.

During the day of the black sun Azula confronts Ozai. As iroh and Zuko fight the avatar. She learns that her mother left for zuko's sake and that she was never going to be fire lord. Azula tells him she'll be somthing even better and leaves the palace.

Azula and ty lee follow the gaang to the western air temple. Katara immidprntly attacks but is quickly rendered unable to bend by ty lee. Azula tells them that the only way for them to of gotten out was for Aang to be incapacitated, and she knew katara could heal him. Aang decides they can stay but have to stay distanced from everyone else.

Azula tries to teach aang fire bending but is slowly growing sick while aang is barely able to produce a puff of smoke. Unable to sleep and constantly on edge, it soon affects her bending, sending her spiraling as she loses control on the only consistent power she's ever had. Her and aang journey to find the true source of fire bending to try to help their conditions.

Still sick, Azula is itching to do anything away from the temple. Finding sokka trying to reach the boiling rock to find his father, she decides to go with him as she knows the prison well. Sokka declines but she goes anyway. They dont find his father, but they do find suki. Azula formulates a plan but they postpone when sokka's father arrives.

Azula comes up with a new plan, now reluctant to include sokka. He tells her to trust him but she insists she has no reason to. Her sickness has been getting worse and he tells her she needs to trust him, making her angry. Only when he catches her while they're escaping dies she finally begin to accept trusting him, if only slightly.

(While they're away ty lee tries to convince

Azula goes with Katara to find the man who killed her mother. Azula has no concept of why katara is so upset, which causes her to get angry. But azula tracks the man anyway.

Ember island players- azulas character has the scar across her chest. She's absolutely insane and "not entirely inaccurate, but I'd never come up with such a dumb plan." Shes also heavily implied to be more than close to ty lee, which azula has no reaction to even as the others freak out.

I havent decided the ending, zuko will probably turn to the gaang's side. I'll add more later and maybe write or illustrate a bit.

Naruto Manga Part 2

Part 6

Naruto comes back to the village after his Sage Training. He finds out that Pain has been looking for him and he has destroyed the village. Naruto is furious over what he has done and prepares to fight him, as he is the only one strong enough (with the help of Sage Mode). He has surpassed his previous generations, and is ready for his toughest battle yet. (I’ll wont be going over the battle as that’s not within the topic but i must say that it’s pretty frickin awesome).

As strong as he has become though, Pain is still too much for him and he is eventually defeated and pinned down by Pain. Naruto doesn’t have an answer to Pain’s question of how to achieve world peace. Naruto was losing hope, he was defeated and pinned down. He was about to give up and let Pain take him. Despair and hopelessness hits him as he didn’t have a better answer to Pain’s way of achieving peace. He had no hope of anyone going to save him, he had told them to not interfare in the battle. He was just about to be taken, but then......

Hinata jumps in attempting to save him. Naruto is in shock, he knows Pain is to much for anyone in the village to handle. Hinata declares that she wont let him lay another finger on Naruto. She had to hide behind a pole to talk to him in part 1 yet still managed to show that she understood him and bring him out of despair. But now she declares to the strongest enemy we have seen so far to not lay a finger on Naruto. She knows Pain is too strong for her, so she essentially prepares her final words to Naruto. Her statement about being selfish should NOT be taking literally, since it’s basically the most selfless act someone could do. What it really means is that she isn’t gonna run away anymore and let things remain hopeless, that during this moment she has become what she always wanted to be. Brave and strong and to never give up even if she keeps failing and things seems pointless and despairing. That’s why she’s not afraid to die, because she loves Naruto, but deeper than that, because at this moment she become what she always wanted to be.

Hinata starts her speech. Notice how Kishimoto zoomed in on Naruto’s eyes. Especially during the line ”i wanted to be with you”. Naruto’s eyes were shining and wide eyed. He treasured those words. Her speech touched him deeply, his reaction soon confirms this. Even Pain was paying attention (he knew some serious shit was going on).

Naruto is speechless. No one has ever said anything like this to him before. His whole life has been filled with nothing but hate and discrimination towards him. His whole life people have said ”dont go near him” ”you monster get away from me” ”i hate you, go die”. He was completly mesmerised even though he didn’t completly understand it. But deep down in his heart he did, and a reason why his amazement turned into complete and blind rage. Before i continue i just want to point something out here.

Who were the ONLY ones that knew Naruto couldn’t fight Pain alone? His future MENTOR and his future WIFE. Just an interesting detail.

Hinata goes in to attack Pain. She reveals her own jutsu the Juho Soshiken. Pain uses a powerful Shinra Tensei and knocks her to the ground. Naruto witnessing all this screams out to Pain to stop just after he takes out his rod. Naruto’s despair is turning into rage. He wants to protect her so much, but he cant. He has ever since the chunnin exams during her fight with Neji. (Just an interesting detail that many people miss. The Juho Soshiken can shut down the opponents whole chakra network. This means that they cant use any ninjutsu if they get hit by hit. Pain could have just stabbed her like Madara easily did to Sakura, but he decided to use a powerful jutsu that has a drawback. This means that he felt threatened enough by her jutsu to use one of his most powerful jutsus. Pain actually felt more threatened by Hinata than Madara felt thretened by Sakura)

Pain compares Hinata’s death to how his loved ones were killed right before his eyes. His line ”Love breeds sacrifice, which breeds hatred” is actually referring to Hinata’s love for Naruto and Naruto’s love for her. Hinata’s sacrife (love) and Naruto’s hatred (love). Pain assumed that Hinata was the girl he loved and that his rage and hatred is responding to it. (He is right, he loved her subconsiously probably for years now, Pain is also a NaruHina shipper confirmed lol).

This was Naruto’s reaction to her death/stabbing.

Worst emotions he’d ever felt.

Written by Kishimoto himself. This is actually incredible when you consider what Naruto must have been through during his whole childhood.

I want to discuss something interesting here. To even achieve such a level of kyuubi rage, an incredible amount of negative emotions must be achieved which should not be underestimated. This is actually not the first time Naruto has triggered the kyuubi for Hinata (obviously not to this degree). During Neji’s mental attack on Hinata, Naruto was so enraged and angry that he was shaking and the kyuubi’s lips were displaying. He completly understood her situation as he also wanted to change himself. But seeing such a nice girl like Hinata (who at this point wanted to help him cheat to pass the test and gave him some healing ointment) being treated this way triggered a part of the kyuubi while he was trying to control his anger.

The second time was during his fight with Neji. While he was trying to summon kyuubi’s chakra he thought of Hinata (probably unknowingly) and his promise to her, and wishing for her to be watching him. My point is that Kishi had already established in part 1 that Hinata triggers very strong emotions to Naruto.

Six scrolls and six tails. Was Kishimoto foreshadowing this moment? Or is it just a coincidence? Regardless really interesting stuff. Anyways that is all for now, here are the previous parts.
