the way that one line from the new epilogue in an astarion romance is going to HAUNT me

just. what a profoundly intense thing to confess to someone.

like, just these six months of newfound happiness with you exerts a force on his heart equal and in direct opposition to two centuries of endless torment, the gnawing hunger and exploitation. this flashbulb-bright fraction of his long life holds the same gravity to him as years upon years of darkness and suffering.

in all likelihood, he hasn’t even known his lover for as long as his worst memory lasted, that year sealed away to go mad from starvation and sensory deprivation, yet he still tells them this brief time has been so fundamentally and powerfully important that the weight of even that unimaginable hell is vanishingly small compared to this present he has now and the future ahead of them both.

i think this might be the most defeated the collective jewish community has felt since the war began and yeah yeah don’t give into despair and all that but come the fuck on. all six of those hostages were alive a few days ago. the best response we can hope for from goyim is silence. how do you grieve when you are surrounded by those who wish you would join the dead. how do you keep fighting like this. why does jewish existence require resilience. why is it so impossible for goyim to think of jews as humans.

i saw a picture yesterday of someone wearing a shirt that says “i let femmes top me. also pretty mascs :)” and that just fucking irked me. not because of that one person’s preference, i don’t give a shit. it irks me because it makes it so obvious how mainstream the idea is that there are the “pretty mascs” and the “not pretty (ugly) mascs” and no one wants the ugly mascs. and be so fucking for real if a butch/masc walked around wearing a shirt that said “i love topping mascs. also pretty femmes” people would throw a fit and demand to know what constitutes “pretty” in their mind

No hate to therians, especially not canine kin, but when I open up the alterhuman/nonhuman tags, I wish there was more than just animal kin, y'know?

You guys already have a word, you guys are animals and therians, but the word "supernatural" is taken by one of the biggest tumblr fandoms and it's so hard to find my people that way.
