#hehehehehehehe#don’t worry they aren’t in the same tank#I’m worried for Crowley because I got him at pet smart and they take pretty horrendous care of their bettas#he’s coming out of his shell a bit. but he’s camping out at the top of the tank like he’s tried form just a short swim around#not entirely sure what to do if he’s actually sick but he’s swimming around some so I’m not to too worried#I also put some wood specifically for bettas on with his tank which turns the water a bit of brown#so it’s hard to get pretty pictures XD#Aziraphale on the other hand practically poses for the camera#betta fish#if I’m doing something so obviously wrong please let me know#good omens

DPxDC merfolk-esqu Au where the Infinite Realms is akin to a giant ecto-ocean. Ghosts look similar to merfolk, though some more deep-sea esque or alien while others look more human. Some look more human when in the living realm (unless summoned) while others don’t change.
This also shifts to ghost-speak, which is similar to things like whale calls mixed with dying screams and other echoes of their deaths. The crackle of a housefire, the rumble of electricity, the crackle of breaking rocks, the crash of heavy waves. It’s a beautiful but haunting song.
Danny, being a Halfa, can of course shift between human and ghost, but this has resulted in his ghost form being only the slightest bit humanoid while his human form looks too human. Too perfect, almost fae like while his ghost form looks like some sort of galaxy-esque deep sea creature with hands and a torso.
This is a bit of an issue when he ends up chasing one of his rogues out of Amity and runs into people who don’t know about ghosts. Who in turn call the heroes about the two monsters fighting in the fields.

Performing fucked up unethical experiments in Subnautica (I didn’t realize you could see the Kharaa spread in real time until I accidentally introduced it into my fish tank, then I stuck an uninfected peeper into the contaminated tank to see how long it took to be infected)
Turns out that it only takes about 50 seconds for the green pustules to appear (though it took me a bit to get the timer started so it was probably closer to a minute)
#subnautica#wonder why they get infected from other fish so quickly but the infected player can swim around in there just fine#other than like that it would be inconvenient for the player#maybe bc of like the difference in the player's alien biology or smth#oh or maybe because you're wearing a sealed dive suit#but that didn't stop the kharaa from getting IN in the first place did it hmmm#also I somehow didn't realize all this time that fish reproduce when you put them in the tank#and like that's meant to be its actual purpose as a sustainable food source#this whole time I thought it was just like you can have fish friends in your base and swim around with them and look at them :)
