Dick, as a self-respecting older brother who doesn't want his home to be taken over by invasive species, does not keep anything a guest could use. Which is what leads to memorable occasions such as:

His siblings dismantling cardboard delivery boxes to use as plates

Multiple people have slept in or under a spare Nightwing costume to stay warm

Jay uses Haly as a blanket to stay warm

His curtains are repurposed as blankets

One towel gets washed six or seven times a day

All his graphic tees are frequently borrowed and no longer fit him right

His secret linen closet has enough blankets and pillows that guests bought and left over to refurbish a hotel the size of Wayne Manor

Guests His siblings do his groceries and restock all the snacks

Group meals are eaten on his bed owing to lack of chairs

There are multiple break-ins into his flat because he refuses to have a spare key or give anyone official permission in

The problem with writing modern au fanfiction is that you have to selectively decide which personality traits and habits would have been / are melded by their upbringing and which ones are ingrained into their very being. Are they like this because they grew up 100+++ years ago or because they just fucking are?

My fave part of Clair Obscur is how well balanced the characters are not in the sense that it doesn’t matter who you play but in the fact that IT VERY MUCH DOES MATTER just not the way you think it does.

I see so many one-shot Maelle builds but in my game she died every turn and dealt next to no damage.

I see some people say Verso is underpowered but he’s my combo guy: one turn and so many attacks it may as well count as a one-shot. I’ve seen some people mention him being a “gun” and that’s how I built him too (no idea how though).

Gustave I struggled with building up points for Overdrive at the start only for it to barely poke the enemy but after I played around with his build it became my secret weapon.

Lune and Monoco are so on and off whether they’re good in combat or not and I see so many people also talking about how OP or how awful they are.

Sciel is a dark horse, no notes, never heard anyone say anything overwhelming or underwhelming about her kit+builds.

The game really lets you pick your faves and build really fun strategies around that and no one strategy is better than another and I think that’s great.

Luffy not knowing about Zoro promising Sanji to kill him if he ever ends up losing himself makes me go feral because that's something they can only know about. Because Zoro's respect for life and death goes beyond anything, and Sanji knows he understands. Sanji knows that if somebody has to kill him, it's him.

And I don't even think it's because Sanji assumes Zoro's opinion of him is hatred and it would hurt less for him to do this, but because Sanji knows only Zoro would be able to treat the promise as it is. Because he would put Sanji's wishes before any feelings he has for him. It's not that Zoro doesn't care, but I think he respects people's ideals and decisions to the extent of being able to kill Sanji if he so desires.

That being said, he'd do it if there's no other way to fix it. If it's either dying or living as an emotionless machine, which is the same as dying for Sanji, Zoro would fulfill his promise. And there is just... Something about Luffy not knowing. Their captain. The man they're devoted to the most as if he were their God. Luffy doesn't know. It's something only the captain's wings are aware of and the thought of these two keeping this from Luffy until the end is just insane. Not even trying to make it romantic here, but the bond and respect these two have for each other is crazy.

Maybe it's the poetry of it all, too. Somebody like Zoro, who has looked at Death in her face multiple times and said "no", ending Sanji's life, who wants to give in to death to not experience a fate worse than death for him.
