Hi friends,

A few months ago, I noticed that I was having a hard time keeping track of all of the challenges and projects that folks were organising and making fanworks for.

It made me wish there were a central place where I could go to find them again and because I'm a bit of a nerd for metadata and information organisation, I decided to do something!

The PPCU Fandom Projects Database is now online.

There are listings for both current/upcoming projects as well as masterlists of past projects in the fandom. I’ve put together a little guide here.

More info below the cut. I'm also tagging project organisers so they know they're listed and can decide whether they want to be or not. 💕

What is it?

This is a Notion site where I’ve gathered project information and masterlist links. It also makes different bits of information (such as deadlines and submission types) more readily filterable and searchable than when in the tumblr post format.

What gets listed?

I'm defining a ‘project’ as any type of fandom activity in which someone (the ‘organiser’) issues a call out to the fandom to create, submit, or otherwise participate in something that they are putting together. This is separate from individual rec lists that people have created that are their personal reading activity — the key concept is that multiple people have been invited to contribute information and/or fanworks and/or are engaging in other activities that make the project possible.

If you have a past, current, or upcoming project that you would be interested in seeing listed, feel free to tag or DM me, or you can use the tag #PPCUfandomproject and I will add it as soon as I can. I will also endeavour to add projects as I see them.

I recognise that taking this information out of tumblr might not be to everyone's comfort level, so please if your project is listed and you don't want it on there, let me know and I will remove it ASAP. Projects that have been included thus far have been tagged below and I will continue to tag folks when things are added so that there is never an instance where something will be on the website without the project creator being informed about it. If it helps to know, the site is not being search engine indexed.

Inspiration.

This was inspired by a project that existed in one of my past fandoms as well as the amazing work in the PPCU space by folks such as @littlemisspascal, @fuckyeahdindjarin, @secretelephanttattoo, and @jolapeno to create lists and directories that enable us to elevate writers and their work in ways that tumblr doesn't necessarily allow for without help.

Oh, I am SO glad you asked anon! I've been waiting to spam my profile with my OCs but with my AU project going off lately I was hesitant if people would even be interested in original characters or even other stories that don't primarily involve the canon characters. :D

So let me hit you with the giant wall of text that is all this stowed concept art & story I have lying around waiting to finally be released (especially written, lol) Below the cut is all the information to my AU/own story set after the Absolute Solvers defeat in 3071.

Lemme introduce you to my personal project:

"Murder Drones: Echo"

“It takes a demon to kill an angel.”

Let's start with the most important stuff, the characters! This line-up is relatively fresh but it still misses 1-2 characters (especially SD-K) which I haven't finished designing yet. A little bit of info is written below the characters, buuut to add more context Imma just speedrun through them lol

Alot of these characters can be found on TOYHOUSE! (requires you to be logged in, sorry :c)

Serial Designation Y - Trans-masc host (build intended to be female presenting, doesn't love that though. He identifies with the male type much more and it shows). He's the secondary host to ECHO, the main antagonist of the story and has 6 wings (not feathered, they're shaped from membrane and take the shape of feathered wings).

Serial Designation D - A character that is also set on appearing in my MD AUs (like Synemy) - and she has appeared in the Synemy fanfiction before as a flashback character that worked with Cyn! She's a former maid and was rebuilt as Disassembly Drone by the Solver itself. As Dina (her true name) had feelings for Cyn she followed the Solver thanks to it using Cyns body as host. She's neither a good nor bad person in the story but rather a neutral force that just wants to be left alone.

Serial Designation X - A Communication Disassembly Drone that worked in a squad with K & T. She's fairly quiet and rarely talks and if she does, it's mainly to bring up good points. Or to insult someone because they're annoying, lmao. She wears glasses as she misses the main eyes DDs have (the yellow lights on the headband) - she's incredibly short sighted and therefore rarely ever involves herself in aerial fights. She uses close-combat techniques as she used to be a ring fighter before being rebuild.

Serial Designation T - The navigator of the 3-people-squad with X & K. He LOVES 1980s music and salvages places online & IRL for music and CDs. He's not above rick-rolling people. B) He met Kira in 3050s where his programming to kill Solver Hosts was overwritten by the Solver, causing him to become neutral towards her. One thing led to another and they had a child. Whoops! (they're madly in love)

Evie (also spelled "Eve") - Ts & Kiras daughter. Her body was constructed to be a hybrid of both a Worker Drone & a Disassembly Drone. She's the perfect middle ground of her parents (not only regarding her height). Her drive to kill Workers is not really present, though she can be very "feral" if she's starving. Still needs Oil to survive and cannot go into the sun - doesn't have nanite acids, but instead a stinger. T made sure not to give her acid. He's worried she'll hurt herself with it.

Kira ("ZWEI") - Kira is one of the Drones that was held at the Cabin Fever Labs similar to Nori and Yeva. She was number 24 (yes ik there's a name for that number in the show but since those names are names from workers on the MD staff team they're more easter eggs and less canon ig) and as a communication drone, her Solver gave her differing powers. She escaped from the labs in the mid 3050s after a botched patch and found herself an Outpost to reside in until she met T. Kiras antennas were able to pick up communication between the Solver & the landing pots, making her aware of the upcoming threat. Her existence as com-drone makes it easy for Echo to manipulate her as well as she cannot tune out incoming signals easily.

Motte - Motte is Echos main host (similar to how Cyn was to the Absolute Solver), with the exception that Echo doesn't inhabit her body all the time; only if it needs to speak through her. Motte is completely blind, her visor crached & her left eye replaced by Echos symbol that glows when she's in active possession. Before the possession she was a worker drone in Outpost 4 and quite a friendly individual. Ever since being possessed Motte is extremely paranoid, doesn't speak (semi-voluntarily, since she fears hearing her voice thinking it might be Echo). She's close with Y due to them sharing the same fate as hosts and he's the only person she allows around her. She's not evil or even slightly motivated to follow Echos commands, she's simply being used against her will (dw, she'll get her comfort to the hurt).

ECHO - main villain of the whole thing. Echo itself is a mutated line of code that seperated itself from the Absolute Solver code back in the Cabin Fever Labs when the humans experiemented with it. It mainly affects communication drones and was first seen within Kira, although it was patched from her and moved onto Motte for it's main host. It's a true neutral entity in the beginning, not differencing good from bad or even having slightly grey area understanding. It does *does*. In the evolution of the story Echo gains a pretty dangerous god complex, seeking out power beyond understanding. Other than the Solver it doesn't wish to satisfy hunger or seek out matter to consume, instead, it wants to experience true ascencion - human emotions and more. It's highly motivated by it's drive to know things, being inspired by human religion (especially christianity) with it's true form being a humongus Ophanim inspired burning wheel that is formed from biological matter, eyes and light.

Echo assumes a more "drone-like" appearance when not needing it's massive true form. It tries to imitate the Workers and well... fails, since it doesn't really look like any normal Worker Drone. It really loves halo symbolism which also results in it's powers and main emblem/symbol being a halo-like structure that manifests in it's victims eye. For that it usually destroys the eye in place. Echo is very capable, though not immortal. Like the Solver there is a way to contain it, but for spoiler reasons I won't share this for now!

Serial Designation K - K is one of the squad members that came to Copper-9 with T & X. While T and X slowly started to warm up to Kira and not actively killing the Workers anymore she herself was entirely disconnected from that. K is, to be frank, just fucking through the roof. She enjoys the Solvers task of killing off the life around planets and gladly does so. Stopping just because a Worker "is nice" isn't on her to-do list so she's... well, more or less excluded from the Squad which made her angry. On one hand - understandable, on the other hand she's killing everything she sees, sooo...

She's a minor antagonist in the story and serves as obstacle to go through. Even with the Solver gone K isn't convinced to stop which comes with a price to pay if you actively try to hinder people from finding their loved ones. :X

Alex - Alex is a human soldier from another exoplanet that wasn't yet destroyed by the Solver - the Iron system. He works in the IDF (iron defense force) and when the military on Iron-3 get the message that Solver activity has been spotted again in the Copper System (as well as Echos activity) he and his team is sent to Copper-9 to weed out the reminaing Solver Hosts (and later on Echo Hosts). Alex isn't the biggest fan of Drones but works with Iris to keep their mission afloat.

Iris - Iris is a Drone built to assist in military-grade operations. She's a bit similar to Disassembly Drones (though with differening looks) that is working with Alex' squad in order to destroy Solver Hosts & remnants still alive on Copper-9 to avoid another spread (not being aware that the Solver itself is contained and still alive... oh well... sounds like drama. Hehe.) Her name is an acronym for Intelligent Response and Information System.

So, what's the story? Is there anywhere I can look for stuff?

Well, the story right now is still being written & in draft form. It'll be released on my AO3 when it's presentable!

Basically the story plays after the Solvers defeat in 3071 and spans over a few months. It starts of with a semingly smaller mission of Evie searching for her parents who've gone missing after the Solvers defeat - trying to make sense from the entire situation only to stumble onto something WAY bigger than she (and the people helping her) anticipated in finding.

Will there be canon characters?

Yes! Since the B Plot of the story also revolves around humans trying to kill off the remaining Solver Hosts (and the Solver itself) canon characters will be included too. Obviously the characters from Outpost 3 such as Uzi, N & V primarily.

There will also be canon & fanon character interaction! B)

Anything else I could seek out for this story?

aita for flirting with my online friend 🌐❓

i (20s, trans man) have been getting closer to my online friend (same as me). we were mutuals for a while in what i can best describe as an online writing community but only started actually talking last year when i approached him to do a project together. we've been pretty strictly platonic for the last year but this year it's ramped up a bit (in part i think due to greater proximity)- we make a lot of sexual jokes at each other. now that's not necessarily a big deal because we do it at other male (and not male in his case) friends of ours, its just sort of how our circle interacts with each other, but it's a bit different for me because i do actually have somewhat of a crush on him. i'm not super sure of how he feels towards me, but i do think he knows at least partially how i feel and is at least humouring our banter.

now here's where i feel like an asshole. i have no intention of dating him at all- even if he does like me back, the reality is that we live on two entirely separate continents and neither of us have the financial means to go see each other. now you could suggest we date long distance or online but i've done that like 4 different times now with 4 different people and i just know it doesn't work for me, for a variety of reasons i won't get into. just trust me when i say it would end poorly. i'm not on speaking terms with any of my exes (nor do i want to be, bar one) and my friend is important enough to me that if we ended up like that then i'd be really upset about it. usually when i break up with someone or am broken up with i'm left with a lot of resentment and bitterness. plus our writing project would be tanked, which i'm not willing to jeopardise because i think it's excellent, he's a great partner.

in addition to that i'm only a few months out of a pretty rough breakup with someone i also had viewed as a close friend (irl, not online). i'm not conflating them here, because they aren't alike whatsoever, but i worry that im using my friend as an emotional rebound to cope with what my ex did to me, even if he doesn't know it. i don't want my ex back and i am honestly still feeling a lot of anger towards him, so it's been nice putting my attention and libido elsewhere. however i know how shitty it feels to be someone else's rebound guy and would hate to do that to my friend. plus i could be stunting my own healing progress?? idk

it initially was just a bit of fun but i've had to privately and seriously talk myself down from getting jealous as fuck when my friend has had other people jokingly (or not jokingly, who knows) flirt with him. i'm a pretty intense person (hi, bpd) so i've been trying to reign myself back and keep things chill and funny between us but i'm getting kind of concerned whether i should stop entirely so my feelings go away or if im fine enjoying giving and being given attention in return, even if it doesn't lead anywhere. even just liking him is kind of breaking three of the rules i'd set for myself after my last few relationship disasters (no more online stuff, no more white boys, let my brain cool down and dont be interested in anyone for at least a year) so i kind of just don't know where i should be taking this if anywhere

I'm an avid believer in all the skins having different personalities

So while default Victor is more reserved (NOT shy, The Prince is the shy one), I believe Paperboy is the most extroverted right behind Keyboard

He's a different kind of extroverted though

He's more focused on his blog than real life people, and so most of the conversing he does is through online forums and the like

DOES NOT mean he's afraid of in person convos!

His whole propaganda gang is trying to get people to STOP relying on tech, of course he doesn't mind talking to people irl

He's way more outwardly neurodivergent than the other variants, could probably rant FOREVER about product design, logos, hmtl and css, etc. He's really passionate about what he does

He's definitely lacking in friends though, despite all that

Other than his Call of the Abyss gang, he really doesn't get to talk to many people

It's pretty saddening, because after the fourth (read: ten-thousandth) rant about Have Fun, the only one who will listen is Luca, maybe sometimes Will

He really doesn't mind, but he does wish he could tell more people about it, people he liked

Write him letters, he's never gotten one, none of his variants have except for maybe Prince.

That's probably what kickstarted his little crush, actually, because he definitely fell first AND harder

You probably sent him an anonymous fan letter, just trying to make sure he knew people liked his blogs

He nearly CRIED running around showing everybody else, and you just laughed all joyfully at his excitement

Back to more general headcanons, Victor is completely nonverbal

He communicates through his lil mask thing, projecting words on it

He also uses it for more practical things

When he wants you to understand some niche thing he's into, he projects a video essay on to the screen, makes you watch it like a movie

Even with his eyes obscured and his words filtered, he's still extremely expressive, and its easy to tell what he's feeling

His face goes REEEEED when he's flustered or embarassed

And his lips are so so cute when he pouts

The only person he actually talks to is Wick, he does it in private, very few people get to see it

Even with you and the others, he's never spoken, only grunted or giggled or something small to acknowledge what you've said

When the plan to expose the Aurora finally closed in, and the final day was approaching, he excitedly ran around showing off his latest design

The first real print he'd made, he'd been banned from most shops and had to be careful entering them because of the guards, so he hadn't gotten the chance to bring them into reality

But finally, after Luca managed to get him a nice printer and a lifetime supply of ink, he did it

They were gorgeous- or- not the right word

They were effective.

He's really a genius in the graphic design department, slaving away hours over his laptop creating the perfect logos to draw in attention

He was incredibly excited that he finally got to spread it the way he's always wanted to

And he really hopes its as effective as he's been told

Hopes that it will encourage people to go find the sun once more

This is by no means a complete list and it's something I will keep adding to and improving. If you have any helpful links not listed here, please send them my way!

General:

Online safety guide for queer people This guide is extremely thorough, having sections for being online while queer in general, dating online, navigating the workplace, advice for queer people under 18, and more. If you grew up online and think you don't need to read any of this, I am begging you to read it. There's always something you don't know, something you won't think to do in a stressful situation. Please, please read through it all. Safety first!

Coming out handbook by The Trevor Project (PDF) A downloadable PDF walking you through the coming out process. It's a bit long, but well worth reading even if you have come out already to friends and/or family. It is very supportive of you, the reader, so it is wonderful if you feel unsure or nervous about your identity.

Quick guide for coming out (nonbinary focused) This is a briefer guide for if you or someone else just needs an overview of the process. It doesn't focus as much on the emotional support part and more on the logistics of coming out. So this one is good if you're very confident in your identity and just need to come out.

Pronouns and names:

Pronoun Dressing Room This site lets you try different pronouns AND names for yourself. You can fill the text fields with literally anything you want. It also has lots of neopronoun presets, organized alphabetically and by theme. To "try on" pronouns and names it uses a simple example paragraph where someone talks to their friend about meeting you. But there is also sections of public domain books where your name and pronouns replace the main characters'.

Pronouns Page This site allows you to make a "card" that lists all your names, flags/identities, pronouns, and terms you want used for you, as well as your preferences for/feelings about of them. It is highly customizable, you can add neopronouns, nounself pronouns, and emoji pronouns. You can even make separate cards for other languages. These cards can be easily shared with others and linked in profiles. It is also a huge resource for terminology, definitions and descriptions of identities, and how pronouns have been and are used in culture and fiction. There's also a full calendar of awareness days/week, appreciation days/weeks, and days of remembrance.

List of nonbinary names These are organized into separate pages by first letter. It includes non-English names, gives origin and meaning for each name, and, perhaps most helpfully, includes how often that name is used as a feminine or masculine name. Even if you are not nonbinary, this can still be helpful in choosing a new name. Personally I found this page infinitely more helpful than going to baby name lists, which are often split by gender and don't have as much for gender neutral names.

Gender:

The Nonbinary Wiki home page This wiki is an invaluable resource, I'm not exaggerating. It has almost everything you would want to know about gender, sexuality, and romantic attraction. It has who made the flags, their meanings, when terms were coined, archived posts, the history of identities, sub identities and micro labels... everything. I will note that understandably, the info for binary gender experiences on this wiki is limited.

List of (common) nonbinary identities This list gives descriptions, history, and more for every common gender identity that isn't strictly the binary female/woman or male/man. Almost every one of these identities has its own dedicated page which goes into further detail. And this list includes nonbinary identities that have existed in non-European and non-American cultures for centuries, or even thousands of years.

List of uncommon nonbinary identities This is a huge and detailed compilation of identities that have as little as one person known to use that label. It also has links to the original or archived posts where the term was coined, if available. This page can be used as something to help you figure out what you like and what you don't like in terms of gender identity. And you never know, the perfect label for you could be in here.

Legal recognition of transgender and nonbinary people by country This page details how inclusive, or exclusive, countries are to trans and nonbinary people. Such as if they allow "X" for gender/sex on ID and passports, what is required to have it changed, and how easy or difficult it is to change your legal name. Canada, the UK, and the USA have dedicated pages for this that go into further detail and provide more resources.

Romance and sexuality:

List of romantic and sexual orientations (nonbinary focused) This list does include common ones like lesbian, but also includes rare identities such as Aquian, being attracted only to people who's gender changes. As I said this is focused on orientations that do not assume you are a binary gender, the people you are attracted to are a binary gender, or that your gender is connected to your sexuality.

AUREA (The Aromantic-spectrum Union for Recognition, Advocacy, and Education) AUREA is not very large right now, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. It has a large glossary of romantic, aromantic, queerplatonic, and other related terms. Which includes rare terms and identities under the aromantic umbrella. They have downloadable PDFs with basic info on aromanticism, as well as links to research that has been done on aromanticism.

Guide to Aromanticism This contains basic info about aromanticism, and "Am I Aro?" questioning section, and links to aro creators. Reading through the whole thing shouldn't take more than half an hour.

Allosexual Aromantic resources This site links to a wide variety of resources by, for, and information on allo-aros. There's terminology guides, how to write allo-aro characters, how to be a good ally towards allo-aros, essays, and fiction featuring allo-aro characters.

AVEN (The Asexual Visibility and Education Network) This is a wonderful resource for information on asexuality. It has a thorough FAQ section for both people questioning and friends/family who have questions and concerns about asexualism.

Asexual Perspectives This is a community blog where people can write about their experiences as asexuals. These posts are incredibly validating and eye-opening and I strongly recommend you read them.

The Gray Area This is a quick FAQ about greysexualism and demisexualism that is for questioning, allies, and people unfamiliar with greysexualism.

AVEN Forms AVEN hosts a form where asexuals, and people who once identified as asexual, can talk about their experiences.

An Asexual's Guide To... This is a brief sex ed taught from an asexual perspective. Which is to say it does not automatically assume you are interested in sexual activities and have some experience feeling sexual attraction. Even if you aren't asexual, it can be quite helpful in understanding the experience. It does not teach you much about the actual having sex part, though. It focuses more on being comfortable with yourself and your body. It is also inclusive to intersex people. (This guide has no pictures, if you were worried about that.)

Setting sexual boundaries with a partner list This is not queer specific but still helpful as it does not assume the sexual relationship is between the two binary sexes/genders and still works if you are intersex. To cut down the paragraphs at the beginning, this is a list of sexual and romantic actions and behaviours. You are supposed to assign a yes, maybe, no, or not applicable to everything on this list to indicate if you are willing, unsure, or will not do those things. It is suggested you go through it with your partner, but you can fill it out alone to figure out your preferences. This list/guide can be useful if you have sexual trauma and/or have had an abusive partner in the past and need to communicate what may trigger you.

WGA / SAG-AFTRA Strikes Masterpost

viv has now said in an interview posted October 26th, 2023 that the delay was due to Hazbin Hotel not having a streaming platform, and making arrangements with Prime.

what i think is the strikes weren't the main cause but they caused minor delays due to their effect on the industry, and the main cause was Hazbin Hotel not having a distribution partner.

A24 handles producing (funding, organizing) and distributing (marketing, release strategizing, platform seeking) of their products.

Bento Box is the studio that handled animation for Hazbin Hotel.

WGA is the union for WRITERS in film, TV, radio, and online media.

SAG-AFTRA is the union for ACTORS and RADIO ARTISTS.

SAG-AFTRA allowed A24 to continue filming MOVIES with SAG-AFTRA actors around late July 2023 due to A24 not being affiliated with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) that SAG-AFTRA & WGA were/are striking against.

the only thing i've found about A24 and the WGA was a Redditor saying that in relation to SAG-AFTRA's decision to allow A24 to use their actors, WGA hadn't made a decision about A24.

The WGA contract does not cover writing for general advertising, however the development of branded television/entertainment shows/projects that are using WGA writers most likely would've been put on hold. Non-WGA writers would also hesitate to work during a strike for fear of ruining rep/scabbing/ruining their own chances to eventually join the union themselves. (pic below)

Regarding the above; "development" usually means earlier pre-production work, so this may not be applicable to HH at all.

it would seem that they’ve been working the entire time/on and off since March 2023, and the delay was due to difficulty finding a streaming platform/making arrangements with Prime, like Vivzie claimed in this interview, and just happened to fall into a similar timeline with the WGA strike.

since she has said in reference to the actor’s strike she felt it was “safe to say it effects both (helluva boss AND hazbin hotel) then it’s possible that both caused a delay.

i.e. they were delayed while trying to find a platform, but there were ripples from the "drama" of the strikes throughout the industry that could've caused some other minor delays along the way while they were trying to find a platform, and/or as they were settling arrangements with Prime.

Okay so yesterday when I was grocery shopping, my work senior texted me to ask if I wanted to drop one of my shifts so I would have more time for uni. That WOULD help me out BUT financially I cannot afford to lose £2-300 a month. It was just sprung on me and instead of making a snap decision I asked if I could have time to think on it and promised to tell her my decision tomorrow (today). So I think on it, I got upset and angry (still haven't quite figured out yet why I got defensive but I think it's because the way she asked me, made me feel like she was saying I'm incapable of working four days a week and doing a degree. That's NOT what she was saying, but that was my snap emotional response. Obviously I didn't act on it and just asked her for thinking time). I do all my numbers once I'm home and yes, I canNOT afford to lose that money but yes it would help me academically. So time or money, which is it?? I picked money, I had to. Mum agreed, dad disapproved last night but this morning told me he agreed with me. So, fine, it's decided. So then today, I go into work, and half hour before the end of my shift, my work senior comes up to me and says, are you ready? I say yes, we find a quiet room.

Okay so she asked me again if I wanted to drop a shift to make uni easy on me and I said no thank you, financially I can't afford it but also I just REALLY love my job and I wanna stay on my four days a week. I didn't hesitate, and I didn't hold back. I was truthful and honest and I was as polite as possible given how angry I was yesterday. She then said that she loves having me on her team and doesn't want me to lose any hours either but she's just thinking about me and my mental health because she doesn't want to find out that I've been awake for 32 hours between work and uni EVER again because I'm one of her girls and if that's happening then she isn't doing her job to take care of us properly. So then I pulled out my notebook and showed her what needs to be revised between now and October and what this year will be like (see below pictures. This is the PREP WORK alongside learning an entire computer software programme we will use regularly AND six online labs to complete).

And she sat and thought for a moment because I refuse to compromise on my job not only because I'm stubborn but also because I just genuinely can't afford losing that kinda money and then she asked for all of my assignment deadline dates, all my lecture dates, etc etc and I gave them to her (I don't have lecture dates or group project dates yet because I get them in mid September) and she wrote them in her diary and said that she's gonna make sure that I have at least two days off in a row for all of those weeks so I can fully concentrate on my assignments and she asked that when I get the other info, that I give them to her so she can pencil me in as needing a day off. She also said that when I get my textbooks and the platform opens up, to bring my laptop into work and she's gonna sit down with me and work out a day by day plan for the first week and then I can copy that for all the other weeks so that I have time for my job AND uni AND free time without sacrificing one or the other.

I'm so so happy, I was expecting to be forced to give up one shift a week and I expected to be forced into what I didn't want but she listened and was so lovely and accommodating and good to me.😭😭😭 AND THEN SHE DROVE ME HOME BECAUSE MY KNEE STILL ISN'T FULLY HEALED BUT IT ALMOST IS😭😭😭😭😭honestly she was so kind it genuinely stunned me and I feel like I'm waiting for the shoe to drop...

Third anon lol and big fan of trigun in general. Piping in with my opinions about the anime, since I don't think it's fair to say either adaptation is "much better" than the other. People will have their personal tastes, some strongly prefer one or the other, but I honestly love both of them. The original Trigun leans more western in the space western theme, while Trigun Stampede leans more sci-fi in the space western theme. But they both have a mix, and they both encompass the same general story. Neither of them match the manga exactly (which is my personal favorite Trigun adaptation), but that doesn't mean they're bad.

The original Trigun was made before most of the manga was made, so it ends up following its own path near the end. It's goofy though, especially towards the start, then ends up hurting you Real Bad (in a good way) later on. I love it so much!! And it's one of the few anime I prefer the dub for, just bc it has so much character. Also makes watching it genuinely hilarious sometimes, but it works for that anime. It also keeps Vash's deal more of a mystery overall, which can be great for starting out with watching.

Trigun Stampede is what I first watched, and I still love it a lot. The production quality is SO good, especially the animation and the soundtrack. I still think about those fights So much... Tristamp is based more on the manga than the original Trigun, especially with certain key events, but it's also its own thing. When the manga's creator greenlit the project, he said he didn't wanna see exactly the same story all over again. So it's a remix! Modernized in some ways, the timeline a bit different from the original stuff... some people critique its characterizations, as the characters do act a little different in this, but it's done with the perspective of being a prequel of sorts. There are characters that act more immature or naive bc it's showing them when they were a bit younger than in canon. I believe they're going to bring it back around so they're closer to their original characterizations in season two, bc that's closer to Around when most of the story happens in the manga. It's generally more serious than the original too, which some people prefer and some people don't. Up to personal taste.

Which that's a lot of talking 😂 but I didn't want you to think that any one version is significantly better than the other. It's a Three Cakes kind of situation, where they're all different and they all have things to love. So I hope you give them all a try!!! Including the manga lol, which flayed my heart alive (in a good way). If ur interested, u can read it all online for free on here @/trigun-manga-overhaul. That's a fan translation project that has fixed a lot of the problems the official translation has, so it's pretty worth reading imo.

How will finances & personal info be handled?

We do not plan on handling any money or personal info such as legal names, private/work/personal emails, credit numbers, addresses, ect.

How it will work unless something changes is this: individuals wanting to purchase the zine will donate at least a minimum to one of the chosen charities, take a screenshot of the proof of donation, and will need to upload it to a form during the pre-order phase to receive the zine(s) via their preferred emails. This way no one in the zine is held liable for whatever reason, Paypal doesn't give us issues for having an NSFW section, and everyone has the freedom to donate what they want as long as it meets the minimum requirements.

We are not requiring anyone to share their personal information and would advise not sharing such information at all. This includes personal emails if this can be avoided. It is common practice to use a separate email for fan projects and zines for the safety of each individual.

Appropriate proof of donation examples can be found below and on our FAQ page via our Carrd. As long as the amount donated, date/time (if possible), and charity are listed then it is acceptable. ok things to be known: 1) adobe can suck my cock and balls theyre evil and i wish that the corporate entity that is adobe would go up in flames, a corporation shoud NOT have that much insight in your privacy, files, sensitive info, etc 2) photopea is great and built off a small dev team as a basically a passion project, which is awesomesauce! i'm not knocking them at all, and i think ppl should support them in anyway they can

i've been a graphic designer and photographer for years now, and in hs i became adobe certified. i literally spent four years of my life learning on an industry standard. it becomes muscle memory after a while. beside that i was a roleplayer so i became VERY familiar with edits and gifs and all that. again everything became muscle memory. adobe suites are the industry standard for a reason, and for GOOD reason. i think they have an amazing interface and work hard to update the experience and make shit easier for artists; like i will give them that even if i sound like a bootlicker. i never paid for it tho lol as a student i got it for free and i would use cracks/torrents.

when i got my new computer it wouldn't let me run bootcamp so i couldn't crack the adobe suites like i used to :/ new mac processors or whatever don't rely on intel anymore, so not intel = no bootcamp. most cracks are pc based so i just couldn't find one that worked for me. apple went ham on protecting IP and combating torrents so it's like impossible to crack without an extensive VPN or else adobe will literally send a cease and desist to your internet provider. its sincerely fucked up.

i switched to photopea bc of this. i really liked it, but im autistic so having to relearn my own workflow that ive had for years made me want to hashtag die. the interface is VERY close to photoshop, so it wasn't hard, but it doesn't have the same capabilities i was used to w ps. i do NOT like edited photos in photopea; i think its way too laggy and glitchy to work with giant raw files, which really sucks!!! for making small edits and doing my graphic design tho??? i do really like it. it doesn't have the same capabilities as ps sure, but once i just fucked with the filter galleries and different plug ins and worked my process around what photopea could accomplish, i was good as gold. i've been producing quality work on commission through photopea. it's a learning curve for sure, especially if you have zero experience with an editing interface like that, but the more i use it the more i learn.

all of that being said, i think photopea is fucking awesome for being completely free and open source. it has its issues —— sometimes its way too glitchy for me and pisses me the fuck off, i have to frequently save my psd files and hope that they don't fuck up, and then reopen so it's less laggy and rinse and repeat bc some of my stuff takes hours lmfao —— but i think its pretty darn close to the photoshop i was using like less than a year ago. its glitchy, its laggy, the ads are annoying and clog up the screen, but i simply cannot complain to much when its a smallish dev team working on a shoestring budget (last time i checked) and for FREE. like its open and usable on any browser and computer and i think thats rad.

if i could go back to ps without giving them money i would in a heartbeat. ps is awesome for the work i do, and i like that there's constant improvements and updates. it just boils down to look, feel, and workflow to me; ps is rarely laggy and glitchy, its meant to handle giant projects, there's so many plug ins you can find online, etc. i just wish it wasn't a subscription based software; honestly if i new adobe was less like the elf on the shelf and i could make a one time purchase, i would. but alas.

anyways i'm pro photopea all the way. idk if any of this was helpful its mostly rambly lmfao. but yeah. i don't do much photography anymore, so i don't have to work around the glitches and lags and all of that with photopea; i focus on graphic design for event fliers and social media content + rp resources. it has room for improvement for sure for sure, but it's lovely and helpful in its own way.

I'm a college student, everyone involved is an adult. Myself and classmates are in our 20s and our instructor is an older man (60s)

I'm currently taking an online business communications class in college. Recently, we were assigned a team project. For a bit of context, our instructor is a bit of a hard ass, as they say. A rule in class is that your camera must be on at all times. Prior to the start of this team project there wasn't any real consequence for not having your camera on besides our instructor stopping the lesson to ask why your camera is off. However he told us that at the start of this team project it will be mandatory and that having it off will result in docked marks on this project.

Today was the first day we got to work on it, and shortly after our team got to work one of our team members told us that he needed to take a few minutes to pray because he is Muslim. Of course everyone on our team told him that was fine and to go ahead, that we'd catch him up on what we got done when he returned. So he turns off his camera and leaves to go pray, we continue working on the project, everything is fine. Shortly after he gets back, before he turned his camera back on, our instructor joins our Teams call to check in on us. Almost immediately he asks why our classmate's camera is off, and before anyone really got a chance to explain he starts saying that it's mandatory and disrespectful to the rest of the team not to have your camera on. Eventually another team member gets a word in and tells our instructor that our team mate's camera was off because he was praying, and our instructor told us that it doesn't matter what the reason is, that we all have a commitment to our team to be present at meetings. He left shortly after, and we got back to work without saying much about it.

Before I go on I'll say that I'm white and not Muslim. I haven't gone to the instructor to complain myself because I worry that doing that would come across as trying to be a 'white saviour' as they say. Furthermore, my classmate is an adult, and I don't feel like it's appropriate for me to go straight to the instructor without talking to the person who was affected first.

However, it's been bothering me since I got out of class. I think it's completely fair for him to take a few minutes away from class to pray, and everyone else on my team agrees. I'm definitely going to include my feelings about this in the anonymous instructor feedback at the end of the term. However I also thought to talk to my classmate and tell him that he should complain directly to the instructor about this, and that if he does I'll back him up.

anyway he does have a palace, it's a void of foggy swamp with ruins scattered around, like futabas endless desert in canon. a charon-like figure drifts around the swamp in a little raft, and surprise! that's shadow akechi.

he's only got the one persona since he has no detective prince mask, and that's loki, though ill probably fuck around a bit personality wise. who knows, maybe his persona actually is charon lmao

luna said it adds a new dimension to the black mask/crow persona and i fully agree: depressed, directionless, passively suicidal akechi's first real full force emotion in YEARS? anger. like how futabas was determination and righteous justice, his is anger and spite at how society managed to convince him to drift through the life he fought so hard to have.

Communal delirium info dump part 2

as we promissed, here the second part! Taging @wh00pwh00p, cause you asked about tha ocs, hope you okay with it... We need to state some things tho: - a bit latter Ara (with Koko's help of course) found a way to communicate with her mother : by... PRINTER----- like she litteraly typing text with buttons on microwave (it's really troublesome tho, she need to use Morse code, but better than nothing) and her mother just prints the answer through the printer - when Ara tried to find out the way how to make her mum normal Koko said that she can turn her back but she is just soooooo busy and haveeee a lot of job (she just gonna procrastinate whole time----) when Ara heard that, she nearly beat up that basta-----woman, but while them were arguing, Benjamin sent that information to mother and her response were... GREAT??? she were happy because she finally can get some rest and a month long vacation sounded really cool for her. So Ara just shockingly let out Koko and now she have a clear mission: just go through month of floor dutties and not die while her mother just chill in the microwave - Mother (her name is Rena btw) in her microwave form were connected to the Enternet later. Now she spending her "vacation" by playing in online farms and "3-in-row" games and watching a lot of TV shows and films. Oh to be an enternet-connected microwave...

That's all for now, so let's talk about the characters. We will start from that ones that were already mentioned: - Ara: She's 17, highschool girl right now. She's just a dumbass that can beat someone up if she gets too sick of others. She is grumpy, sarcastic, passive-agressive and talking straightforwardly so she can be rude sometimes, but even if she can be a bit hard to deal with, Ara is still a nice and surprisingly chill as a friend, on which you can actually depend. Ara is the one who wants to protect her loved ones and because of that she can be a bit reckless and put up a fight even with a God by himself, so she can be heavily beaten time to time. She doesn't really have any hobby except listening to music and wander around the apartaments she just doing something depending on her mood, and because of that she just not_really good in everything. Except of cooking. Surprisingly she can make a great meal, but only if she has a mood to do so - Benjamin: He's 20 and he is already graduated from college, as mentioned earlier. Benjamin is more like opposite to Ara: more chill and thoughtful. He doesn't like fights and conflicts and just trying to avoid it. He is really lazy. Sometimes he can act nerdy and it's the only one state when he will argue with someone. He likes to just lay down and start to complain about everything time to time. Sometimes he can talk to himself. He's hobbie is to talk with some users on some strange old forums. It's he's comfort space, but he doesn't want to admit that. Totally bad at cooking, but good enough in household chores. Likes to sing sometimes when he is all by himself. He's favourite food is fried fish - Koko: She's 26 and a criminal. She/they btw. She is really sarcastic, stubborn and agressive. Her hobbie, job and a love of her whole life is a science. Koko likes to do a lot of various experiments (that can improve a life in society, but actually Koko doesn't care about it, she doing it just for the procces itself). Still it can be really dangerous not only for her, but for everybody else. Most of the time she looks really tired because she spending whole time on projects, that she passionate about. But when she doesn't have the one or forced to do something, that she doesn't interested in she just... procrastinating whole time and you can do nothing about that. Totall disaster in everything related to housework. Likes stewed vegetables and loud music

Ara has a lot more neighbors, so let's talk about them: - A huge amalgam of about 30 dead people who share their mind. It lives on the floor only because that among this pile lies the dead bride of the apprtament's keeper, whom he is trying to resurrect. The whole mountain itself is just lying in the bathtub and watching TV. Ara basically contols the work of staff a bit, but sometimes she just going in room on their own to check the situation. At the same time, almost all personalities treat Ara as some kind of caring and extremely noisy table uncle-aunts who can't wait to discuss her personal life - Sir Raven - a humanoid creature with the head of a raven, that constantly walking in knight's armor. No one knows where he came from, but it is known that he is looking for his reflection from the mirror, which for some reason ran away. According to Sir Raven's version, this is his evil clone who managed to pass between the worlds. Sir Raven treats everyone kindly, likes lecturing everyone about justice. for obvious reason, he hates mirrors - That's shit. Whatever it is

Actually, there are more residents from the other floors who either sometimes wander into Ara's floor for fun, or Ara herself crosses paths with them for some reason: - the nameless and faceless poet who hangs out in the grocery store one floor above. Where he lives permanently, it is not clear at all, and whether he lives permanently anywhere. Mostly ranting about the past and reading out his writing in the alcohol section. He likes to complain about that he never got published anywhere, with about the same frequency as he lies somewhere on the floor drunk as hell. It has a rather mild and melancholic man, that suffers from duckling syndrome. He is a failed guitarist btw -Marina, the cashier at the grocery store on the floor above. She is a student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, works with the aim of moving away from her family. Grumpy, she often complains about lack of sleep and likes to rant about the teaching staff. She loves death metal and karaoke and using it to relax. She suffers from impulsivity, that makes her to spend all her money, but she pretends that she does not understand why she constantly does not have any money -The seller of everything. Literally everything. Whatever you ask for, them will give it to you: sweets, plants, kindred spirits, ready–made term papers, fake documents, curses, dreams, stars, even your own planets! However, the fee for this is all appropriate to the request. They do not have a clear name and gender, so others call them the Seller. Them settled in a appartaments because it is easy to find customers here. Appears at store floor only at night - a huge marble creature that looks like a cluster of human limbs with one large male body and the same male head with a threads that connect all the details, called Bob. He looks menacing, but in fact he is a scaredy cat, constantly nervous about almost everything in the world. He works as a remote programmer. he always forget to paythe rent -Kais. He is a devil that likes to philosophize. He can change form of his head freely and he likes to do so in order to get some fun. He often pretends that he is an escaped reflection of Sir Raven and sometimes appears on Ara's floor, making his head look like a crow one. There is not reason of his being in the appartaments, he just wanders everywhere to find something interesting enough for him. He often hangs out on the school floor, becaus of the Nana, that he sees as his silly niece. Can appear and disappear in the blink of an eye

Alright, here is a not-exhaustive list of some of the background/side characters who will be showing up in This Warren: (I am using this as a space to write them all down and get them out of my head for the moment, jsyk)

Sandy - techy like Tweak, but not quite as involved in the hacking scene. Mostly manages her branch of the illegal LAN Tweak's got set up in the Warren and some server maintenance. She is also a big contributor to new code and keeping the info Tweak and others gather secure from probes. Old enough to remember the first computers. Her embrace was rather unfortunate in that it left her without most of a lower jaw, and she communicates almost entirely by Sign. 

Dana 'Lil' Darlin'' Little - A runner, like Charlie, but considered the head of the 'organization' of messengers. Helps keep her runners appraised of obstacles, construction projects, threats, newcomers, and otherwise any issue in the Warren or outside of it that may cause issue for a message or item from being delivered from point A to B. Beleives in learning on the job as the most effective form of training (whether the poor fucker likes it or not...) This woman is not taller than 4'5, and you will not outrun her. You Won't. 

Blanche 'Bobbin' Park - (this is one of my partner's ocs!) One of the older members of the active Warren, Bobbin handles most of the more complicated clothing concerns among the members who care to take her up on it. She's got an eye of any court Toreador for fashion, though she doesn't take much stock in modern styles and trends, preferring to stick to her own era pf dress for formal, and throwing off the peak of the truly wild and avant guard for the Nos styles. She's a Cleopatra, and if you're close to her, you may find yourself invited to a movie night, which will include slasher films, and gory ones at that.

The High House

These three get their own section as they're an interesting bunch and an example of Nos who aren't totally tied into the physical holdings of their warren.

The High House is a group of three that run a drug and illicit substance den, topside. They cater to mortals and undead alike, providing the Warren with tidbits and gossip gained from lips loosened in their pit of ecstasy. 

The main proprietors are Tanner, Kink, and Neb. 

Tanner - Nos, considered the face of the coterie, he does most of the mixing when it comes to more than simple stuff like cutting coke. Like getting said coke into blood, for Kindred consumption, along with any other substance you can think of. Which is where the next part of the three comes in:

Neb - Ghoul. Technically Tanner's, though considered more of the House ghoul than his specifically. Neb takes in the drugs, and gives out the blood infused with 'em. If you pay for it, the House will let you have some personal time with Neb, straight from the source. Neb handles all Kine affairs and deals. 

Kink - Nos. Tends to be the business broker on the Kindred end, though will deal with Kine if it's only over the phone or messages online because while she's got a voice fit for the gods, her body was quite literally contorted from the Embrace. Think of the worst case of scoliosis you can imagine...now make it even worse. Soft-spoken, and always with an ear open to whatever's getting you down. 

The High House isn't here to judge. Only listen, and offer a bit of reprieve from the reality harshing your buzz.
