ok well i was about $1800 in the red this year lmao...could be worse [edit: jk i forgot to include the $260 i paid in et/sy fees this year LMAO...ah well]

#part of that is due to the class structure (which meant i had like $750 in class fees in the last couple months)#bc early winter session is SO short #so i paid for early winter session in october and i paid for the january session in december #but also that wouldn't've mattered if i actually had like. kept my shop stocked this year lmao #i have a bunch more dishes to photograph too but it's cold out :(#i might just have to break down and take shitty indoor photos just to mcfreakin sell these things #anyway! here's to a more financially solvent 2024!#im at peace with it btw cause like #i let my shop suffer bc i needed to make things that sparked joy and improve my skills a little #i needed the enrichment and i don't mind the price i paid #i learned a lot and i made cool things #and now! we rebuild!

okay, but putting aside the comedic aspect of this, it is concerning the amount of people who are prompted to vote for candidates just because it's funny. I'm not the biggest fan of how his policy about the boarder sounds [Site], but I do implore anyone who is able to vote in the 2024 US election to please research other candidates.

The media is only going to continue pushing the idea it's inevitably going to be Trump vs Biden 2.0 and we have no other options, that we have to vote for Biden again because of Project 2025. Is that whole thing terrifying?

Yeah, fucking absolutely.

But voting for Biden will not solidify our safety from that. Biden is exactly like the rest of them. He always has been. You can't make the lesser of two evils argument when they're both just plain evil.

You cannot say that Biden is even mildly a better choice than Trump when he is currently directly involved in a genocide. That is not some little fucking thing. That in and of itself disqualifies him as a lesser evil. Biden is just as bad as him and he will not save us because he doesn't fucking care.

Alright. Okay. I was putting off reading the last couple chapters. Cause I felt like my heart would not survive. And well... I just caught up.

I can't tell if this pain in my chest is because my heart is swelling with pride; for Deku, for Class 1-A and friends, for Horikoshi, for the little child inside me screaming GO! YOU CAN DO IT! Or if it's just breaking because that was so beautiful... and it's almost over. We've crossed the finish line and now we just wait to see the aftermath of a war.

Horikoshi put his absolute all into these final chapters and it shows. It has been such a magical experience watching this all unfold. Reading from start to finish as it was being created. I haven't had the privilege of getting to do that with many series let alone one this big and with such strong messaging to the current state of our world.

I'm so grateful I got to feel the breath of hope he tried to breathe into all of our lungs. And I hope to always carry it.

And I hope everyone can hear it. Horikoshi screaming at us: We are stronger together.
